hello!! just came across your jaehyun fic “name” and i just wanna say it’s super interesting! love the boss b+tch vibe for the reader and the little notes on how different idol!jaehyun is to the jaehyun that you got to know through short texts. love the ending as well and that it leaves a lot to imagination 🤍 great fic!

Funny things I found out playing with language setting in Netflix while looking episode 15:
Chilchuck's scream sounds HAUNTED in brazilian portuguese. Give it a try if you can.

In spanish dub, Senshi says: "tocó mis senos de hombre", which means "he touched my man boobs" in Spanish. And I think that's the best dub line one so far.

i think bout this panel alot and how chilchuck was the only one not surprised overall, in fact, exasperated. did laios show him his 'super cool original monster do not steal™' before? just how much has laios told chilchuck bout his history and interests and vice verse.
laios never shows any particular surprise bout the information (besides the age thing and even then was tactful) we find out bout chilchuck later on too. and while the half-foot claims the party "keeps personal history private" there must be more going on here if laios of all people is allowed to call chilchuck 'chil', y'know?

I have a theory/ headcanon for why Chilchuck was so comfortable tossing around half-foot Marcille during the first changeling situation, despite HATING that kind of treatment himself and being an advocate against the infantilization of half-foots.
Chilchuck mentions that if Marcille is going to age like a half-foot, she has less than 40 years. Specifically mentioning she has less than 40 years left suggests she's somewhere in her teens as a half-foot. Assuming her equivalent tall-man age is 20, she'd be 16 as a half-foot. Which just so happens to be about how old Meijack and Flertom are.
So my theory/ headcanon is that Chilchuck got solid confirmation that Marcille is the same maturation as his daughters at the same time as her struggling to cope with her new body in both mundane and combat situations so his dad instincts take over and he starts treating her with the same familiarity he'd treat his daughters if they were struggling/ putting themselves in danger.
#im sure if he were somehow in a tall man form around other actual half-foots he wouldn't toss them around#unless of course it was his daughters and they were acting like Marcille for some reason#though I'm pretty sure if he tried that shit with Meijack he'd be met with indignant rage#she's supposed to be the most like him in personality#so I assume she wouldn't tolerate being picked up and tossed around even by her own father#hell given Chil's advocacy for half-foots to be taken seriously she may be MORE pissed if it was him#now I want Meijack to join her dad on like one dungeon trip#it would be funny#dungeon meshi#dunmeshi#chilchuk tims#chilchuck dungeon meshi#chilchuck dunmeshi#marcille delicious in dungeon#marcille dunmeshi#marcille dungeon meshi

Laios would learn that first names are intimate and take that to heart. He'd call him Chil and feel giddy about it (that's my friend!). Chilchuck would chastize Laios for saying it too much or "just don't call me that in front of the other half foots" and it'd only make "Can you pass me a spoon, Chil?" all the more intimate.
