Summary: Morpheus doesn't like nor understand slang

Notes: 165 words. I, too, would like to have a tea party with an anthropomorphic being and catch them up on Gen Z slang

“Ugh, slay. Pop off pussy queen!” You cheered at Morpheus as he walks, no struts towards you.

You stay seated at the tea table, the sun shining, the wind blowing, and enjoying the little cakes with your favorite cup of tea. Morpheus comes to you, confusion evident on his face as he hears you speak.

“I am not slaying, I am being quite amiable today.” He states, sitting down across from you.

You choke on your sip of tea at his response. “No, I meant-”

“Also I am not a queen. I am a King.” He continues.

You open your mouth again to explain but he cuts you off once more.

“Furthermore, how dare you use such vulgar words! That word should only be uttered when shared between two intimate lovers,” He turns his face away, uncomfortable to even have to explain why you shouldn’t use the word “pussy” while having a tea date with Morpheus.

“Never mind,” You muttered into your half-empty tea cup.

I have a longer fic lined up, I just need to actually finish writing it... It'll be a modern AU Morpheus as a daughter dad with Reader, and it will be 18+.
