if i think too long about the ending making lloyd leave the home he worked so hard to save behind along with the new found family he sacrificed his life for so he can move to a place he has no emotional connection to where he only knows two people (one of which is actually following him from the aforementioned home) in order to make him get a standard "have a wife and children" 'happy' ending i start wanting to bite people not gonna lie

Chapter 19 - Officially Missing You
All I hear is raindrops
Falling on the rooftop
Oh, baby tell me why'd you have to go
'Cause this pain I feel
It won't go away
And today I'm officially missing you
I thought that from this heartache
I could escape
But I fronted long enough to know
There ain't no way
And today
I'm officially missing you
Oh, can't nobody do it like you
Said every little thing you do
Hey, baby say it stays on my mind
And I (and I), I'm officially
All I do is lay around
Two years full of tears
From looking at your face on the wall (face on the wall)
Just a week ago you were my baby
Now I don't even know you at all
I don't know you at all
Well, I wish that you would call me right now
So that I could get through to you somehow
But I guess it's safe to say, baby, safe to say
That I'm (that I'm) officially missing you
Officially Missing You - Tamia
---
Atlanta, Georgia - June 5th 2023 - 10 am
The sad melody of the song Officially Missing You by Tamia came out of Sebastian's cellphone speaker. He didn't choose the song. His Spotify app was playing random recommended songs and the sad song was chosen, much to his annoyance. As if the app could read his mind and knew the song that represented his heart.
He was sitting at the dining table at his rented apartment in Atlanta, eating a somewhat late breakfast. He was scheduled to have his first shoot for Thunderbolts that day. He needed to go to the set in an hour, but he felt lonely eating alone. So he put on Spotify and decided to listen to some songs so that the room didn't feel so quiet.
When he digested the lyrics of the song he felt a pang in his heart. How so very true to his heart the lyrics were.
It's been exactly 5 days since Y/n left him. Not a day went by without him thinking about her and Starlene. Not a second went by without him missing both of them so much.
He often wondered how things could've gotten so bad in less than a month. His mind wandered back to the very beginning of their relationship and he realized that yes, their relationship was so full of obstacles. It was a miracle that they were both alive and married.
Maybe she was right. Maybe they weren't meant to be.
His heart ached tremendously as he thought of that possibility. He didn't want to accept it. Deep in his heart he knew they were meant to be. But he didn't know how to fix their relationship. She was asking something he couldn't possibly give her.
He felt disappointed at her for requesting something he could never fulfill. He thought she understood him. He thought she knew that for him being an actor was something like being his mother's son. A status he was born with. An identity he couldn't let go even if he wanted to. Being an actor was like his life's calling. He couldn't possibly give it up.
Of all people he never expected Y/n to ask him that. She was supposed to be his soulmate. Someone who could understand him and accepted him the way he was. But then, maybe soulmates just don't exist. And in the end, all anyone can think about was their own happiness. He thought bitterly.
He sighed and continued to eat the scrambled eggs he had made for himself. He was eating the last piece of scrambled eggs when a familiar melody came out of his cellphone's speaker.
His heart seemed to stop as he listened to the song. It was Endless Summer Nights by Richard Marx. The song that he and Y/n danced to the night he first confessed his love to her.
Summer came and left without a warning
All at once I looked and you were gone
And now you're looking back at me
Searching for a way that we can be like we were before
Now I'm back to what I knew before you
Somehow the city doesn't look the same
I'd give my life for one more night
Of having you here to hold me tight; oh, please
Take me there again
Oh, oh
And I remember how you loved me
Time was all we had until the day we said goodbye
I remember every moment of those endless summer nights
He felt his eyes prickling as he listened to the song. Now that their relationship was different, the song meant something different to him. It was originally a break up song. But when he danced to it with Y/n more than a year ago, he was focused more on the melody and on these lyrics as he tried to persuade Y/n to agree to be in a relationship with him.
There's only so much I can say
So please don't run away from what we have together
It's only you and me tonight
So let's stay lost in flight
Oh, won't you please surrender
Now he realized it really was a break up song. And listening to it just made his heart spiral into more sadness.
His mind wandered back to the day she left him. He couldn't be alone that day dealing with the heartbreak by himself. So right after he left the airport, he went straight to his mother's house.
"Oh, Sebby honey. I'm so sorry that this is happening to you." His mother had said as she gave him a tight hug.
He sobbed on her shoulder and cried his heart out. Her mother rubbed his back gently and whispered calming words into his ears. Eventually his cry subsided and he was able to talk more about his situation with Y/n.
After explaining everything to her she looked at him with a slight disappointment in her eyes. But then they quickly cleared into a loving and understanding look.
"Marriage is not just love, Sebby honey but also consists of honesty, loyalty, good communication and compromise." She had advised him.
"I know, mom. I'm shocked too that we both have problems with being honest with each other." He sighed.
"Well, you have to remember that the reason you lied to each other is because you didn't want to hurt each other and not because you hid an affair or something bad like that. I mean, you didn't cheat on her nor she on you. Right?" She asked, raising her eyebrows.
"No, Mom. We didn't cheat on each other." He replied.
"Well then in my opinion there's still hope for you both. You just have to learn how to compromise." She advised.
"But mom, it's her who didn't want to compromise. I told her that I was willing to lessen the jobs I accept in a year. I asked her to come with me to Atlanta. But she wouldn't accept. She kept asking me to stop being an actor." He said, his voice raised a little.
"Well, try to put yourself in her shoes. How would you feel being harassed by those fans? How would you feel dealing with all the hate and negative talks by the public?"
"I got the hate too, Mom." He protested.
"Yes but not like her. I'm guessing she received more of the harassments than you did. Even if she didn't, you had experience with this kind of thing before whereas she most likely didn't. Try to understand that." She said, putting her hand on his shoulder and squeezed it gently.
"Yeah, I get it. I just.. can't believe she would ask me to stop being an actor." He said, his face went sour.
"It's probably the only thing that seemed to make sense to her. And from what you told me, it seemed you contributed as well." She said, giving him a stern look.
"What do you mean I contributed, mom?" He asked, his eyebrows furrowed.
"You're not exactly innocent. I mean, leaving your wife alone with a sick child on your honeymoon? I thought I taught you to be a gentleman." She reprimanded him.
He sighed. Every woman he talked to had a problem with that. He realized now that he really was selfish.
"I'm sorry, mom. I guess the excitement of being a first time producer and how I got my first Cannes premiere blinded me."
"Yes. You need to put your priorities straight. Family is number one, Sebby honey. Always remember that." She said.
"Well, what good does that do now that she doesn't want to be with me anymore." He pouted.
"Oh Sebby honey. I've never seen a couple more in love with each other than you and her. Give her some time and space. I'm sure eventually she'll come around and will want to get back together with you." She encouraged.
"You think so, mom?" He asked, doubt in his voice.
"Yes, Sebby honey. Having been in a failed marriage myself I know true love when I see one. What you and her have is true love. You have to believe that."
"She said love is not enough." He replied, looking down in defeat.
"Oh Sebby honey, she was probably too emotional when she said that. Love is enough but you also have to put in the work."
"I feel like I have put in the work, mom. But it's not enough for her." He complained.
"Well, from what you told me you still have some improvements to do. You said that she wanted you to help out more around the house. That's something you can definitely work on, right?"
"Yeah.. I guess. It's just that when I'm about to shoot a movie I tend to focus more on preparing for that. I mean, I think that's normal, right?" He asked, his eyebrows furrowed.
"Well it is. But in this case you have to consider what has been happening to her. All of the things that had happened since your wedding must have taken a toll on her. She's now so stressed out that her fight or flight reflex kicked in. She needed you to be there for her to help deal with her stress but you were busy with your own thing. So instead of fighting she chose to flee because she thinks it will give her a reprieve from all the stress."
Her mother's words shone a light in his mind, making him understand more about her reasons for wanting to get a divorce.
"You're right, mom. I've been such a bad husband." He said, his voice shook and a tear dropped from his eyes.
"Oh Sebby honey, I'm glad you realize that. But don't kick yourself too hard. As long as you realize it then it's a start. Now you have a film to shoot. Try to focus on that. Before you know it she might just come around and come back to you." She said, putting her hand on his cheek gently.
"Thanks mom." He nodded.
Her mother smiled and gave him a warm tight hug.
He wished he could stay at his mother's house longer. He knew being alone in Atlanta would just make him depressed. But he had a job to do. He couldn't just not show up.
Richard Marx's voice brought him back to the present moment. He pressed the stop button and the song stopped playing. He needed to get his s**t together. He thought as he wiped a tear that had dropped from his eyes. Today was the first shoot for Thunderbolts. He needed to focus and be professional. He couldn't let his personal life get in the way of his job.
He had arrived in Atlanta days before to settle in and to have meetings with the director and other cast members as well as fitting for his costumes and fixing the look for Bucky with the make-up team. Some of his cast members had started shooting a couple of days ago. His first shoot was scheduled for that day, and his scene was with Wyatt Russell, the guy who played John Walker.
The scene was a rather intense scene involving a hard debate and eventually a fight between them. He had prepared for the scene since before his wedding. And he had some time back in New York to practice the fighting with his trainers at a gym near his apartment. He had also spent several days in Atlanta practicing with his stunt team.
Despite all the training that he had done, he felt he wasn't ready. All he wanted was to just stay in his room, lying down on the bed and mope.
Everyday since she left him he had thought of calling her, or at least sending her a text message. But he knew she needed some space and he was afraid of bothering her if he contacted her too soon. He was hoping she would contact him first. But it's been 5 days and he had only received one text from her, right after she arrived in California, letting him know that she and Starlene had arrived safely. He had texted her back saying he was glad that they had arrived safely. But after that there was no more communication between them.
Since he didn't dare to contact her he ended up contacting her father everyday. Just to check up on her and Starlene. Her father thankfully didn't mind. He did however scold him the first time he contacted him. Reminding him about his promise to take care of his daughter and not hurt her.
He had explained the situation to her father and eventually he understood, much to his relief. He had advised the same thing to him just like his mother did. Which was to give her some time and space. He also promised to try and persuade her to come back with him. He was so glad her father was so supportive of him. He and her father had become rather close in the past couple of days. He kind of reminded him of his own father, and the feeling felt bittersweet to him.
He glanced at the clock on his cellphone and decided to call her father. He still had about half an hour before he had to leave so that should be enough to check on her and Starlene.
He swiped on his cellphone and pressed the call button on his father-in-law's number. It didn't take long for him to pick up.
"Good morning Mr.Y/F/L/N." He greeted him.
"Oh good morning, Sebastian." Her father replied cheerfully.
"How are you today, sir?"
"I'm good.. I'm good. Just slightly disappointed that our flat screen TV in the living room has ceased to stop working for no reason at all." He sighed.
"Oh. That's too bad." He replied.
"Yeah. Anyway, I still have an old TV that still works. So, it's no big deal." He shrugged.
"Oh that's good."
"Yeah. Anyway, I'm sure you want to know how my daughter and granddaughter are doing."
"Umm.. yes, sir. How are they?"
"They're fine. Starlene is still asleep and Y/n is in the kitchen preparing some breakfast."
"Oh that's good. Has she.. has she mentioned me at all?" He asked nervously.
"Not exactly. I mentioned you to her though." He said, making his heart skip a beat.
"Oh! And what did she say, sir?" He asked as his heart rate increased.
"Well, I asked her how you were doing and she just replied that she didn't know because you haven't been communicating. I asked why not and she said she still needed some time. I'm sorry, Sebastian."
His heart dropped to his stomach as he listened to her father's answer. He really had ruined it all hadn't he? He thought, kicking himself up.
"Oh. I see. Well, thank you for mentioning me Mr.Y/F/L/N."
"No problem, Sebastian. You know, it's been a while. There's no harm if you want to try and contact her first." Her father suggested.
"Yeah. Maybe I will later on today. I have to go to the set in a moment."
"Ah, your shoot for Thunderbolts is starting?"
"Yes, today is the first day."
"Good luck then Sebastian. If you see Harrison Ford, would you tell me I said hi. You know I'm a big fan of his. I loved him in Star Wars and Indiana Jones."
"Oh I didn't know you were a fan of his." He chuckled.
"Yeah, I am. Oh, I have to go, she's coming my way. Talk to you later, John." Her father said, making his eyebrows raised.
"Uh.. yeah. Thank you, sir. Talk to you later."
Her father then hung up, leaving him hanging. She must have been quite close to him that he resorted to calling him John. He shook his head as he felt a great sadness in his heart.
Maybe he was right. There's no harm in trying to contact her first. He was about to send her a text message when he heard a knock on the door.
That must be Wyatt, he thought with a slight annoyance.
"Sebastian! Are you ready for our fight?! Cause I'm ready to kick your butt!" He heard Wyatt calling him from behind the door, making him roll his eyes.
"Coming, Wyatt!" He called out as he put his cellphone in his pants' pocket, stood up and cleaned the dining table.
After putting his breakfast plate and fork in the dishwasher he went to his room to grab his wallet. His wallet was inside a dresser in the nightstand. He pulled out the drawer and picked up his wallet. His eyes glanced at a box placed underneath his wallet. It was a velvet box Y/n had given him as a wedding gift. He had put the heart shaped and key shaped pendant along with the necklace she gave him into the box yesterday before he went for a fitting for Bucky. Bucky wore dog tags and that was what he had worn since yesterday. But he realized he hadn't taken off his wedding ring yet. Bucky wasn't married so he should take it off.
He glanced at his wedding ring and couldn't help but be reminded of the day they exchanged their vows.
He remembered every word she said to him that day.
"Today, in the presence of God and all our loved ones, I promise to always love you, adore you, support you through all the joys and the sorrows. I will stay by your side as we sail through this life, with all the storms and sunny days. My heart belongs to you.. forever and always. I love you."
A tear dropped from his eyes as he remembered her promise to him. A promise that he felt she couldn't keep.
He knew that in this case it seemed he was more to blame than her. But he couldn't help but feel disappointed that she would think of divorce so soon without trying to fix things first. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't understand why she would give up their love so easily.
His heart ached in disappointment as he slowly took off his wedding ring and put it into the velvet box. He wondered whether he would ever wear it again. Will she accept him back or will she continue to ask for divorce? At this point he didn't know. And the thought frustrated him.
He snapped the velvet box close and returned it back into the drawer. He turned around feeling the familiar heaviness in his heart and stomach as anger started to seep into him.
He took a deep breath, counted to ten and let it go. He decided to channel his anger and frustration into his work today. Something he often did whenever he showed up for work. Thankfully the scene he was shooting that day required him to feel anger and frustration. So he just let the feeling simmer in his heart.

The Set of Thunderbolts, Marvel Studios, Atlanta, Georgia - June 5th 2023 - 2 pm
"You will never replace him, Walker! Don't pretend that you're like him!" Sebastian, as Bucky, yelled at Wyatt, as John Walker.
With all the anger and frustration in his heart he lifted his hand and punched Wyatt in the face. His right fist connected with Wyatt's left cheek hard, leaving a bruise on his cheek.
"Oh my God! Wyatt I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!" Sebastian broke out of character as he realized what he had done.
Wyatt touched his cheek with his hand, looking at him with his eyebrows furrowed.
He wasn't supposed to hit him for real. He was supposed to hold back a little and Wyatt was supposed to pull his head back a little.
"Cut!" The director, Jake Schreier yelled and immediately came to them.
"Wyatt, are you okay?" Jake turned to Wyatt.
"Yeah, it just stings a little." Wyatt said, dropping his hand from his cheek so Jake could see the damage Sebastian had done to his face.
"Well you have a bruise forming there." Jake commented.
"I'm.. I'm sorry, Wyatt. I'm sorry Jake. I got carried away." Sebastian said, his head hung.
"It's okay, Sebastian. We actually got a really good shot of you." Jake said, turning to him.
"Is it okay if we continue the shoot?" Jake asked, turning to Wyatt.
"Yeah.. yeah.. sure. It doesn't hurt that much. And the make-up team won't have to put a bruise on me now." He chuckled.
"Okay then. Well we already got the shot of you Bucky, hitting Walker." Jake said, turning to Sebastian. "Now we just continue on with you, Walker, attacking Bucky back." Jake explained, glancing at Wyatt.
"Okay. Sure." Wyatt nodded and Jake left them.
"Oh God, I'm really sorry, Wyatt." Sebastian said again, feeling so guilty and embarrassed.
"This never happened to me before. I swear. And I will not let it happen again." He promised.
"Hey, it's okay, Sebastian. Sometimes the feelings the characters are having on a scene impacts us for real. I get it. Don't worry about it." Wyatt said, clapping his back and smiled at him.
"Thanks for understanding, Wyatt." He said in relief.
They continued the shoot but Sebastian felt he couldn't focus much. He was afraid of hitting Wyatt again and that made him forget the moves that he was supposed to do.
After what felt like a hundred takes Jake finally asked them to stop and asked Sebastian's stuntman John to replace him. His focus was so bad that Jake resorted to use John for the scenes where Sebastian was supposed to be in.
Sebastian slumped on a chair on the side of the shooting area. Watching John and Wyatt fought each other, feeling so disappointed with himself.
No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't stop thinking of Y/n. Aside from being afraid that he could hit Wyatt again, she was one of the reasons why he found it so hard to focus.
The anger he felt at her earlier was now gone, replaced by utter desperation. He wondered what she was doing. Whether she was thinking of him too or not and whether she still loved him or not. He rubbed his ring finger absentmindedly but then stopped himself when he realized he didn't have the ring on.
He closed his eyes and shook his head hard, trying to let go of the thoughts of her.
For the next three days he found it really hard to focus. He ended up being a coward and didn't send her a text message or call her at all, thinking that she might need some more time and space as he remembered what her father said to him, that she still needed some more time.
But not being able to contact her put a toll on him. He found himself hard to fall asleep at night, his mind overthinking everything about her and their relationship so that during shooting he felt much like a zombie.
He did a lot of wrong moves during fight scenes that John ended up replacing him again. He often forgot his lines and said the wrong lines that it took many takes until he got them right.
His inability to focus and perform well hadn't gone unnoticed by Jake and his other co-stars. By the third day Jake finally pulled him aside.
"Sebastian, I'm really sorry to ask you this. But.. are you okay?" Jake asked.
"Yeah.. I'm okay. Why?" He asked, feeling embarrassed that Jake had to ask him that. He really needed to get a grip on himself.
"It's just that.. I'm sorry, but I can't help but notice that your focus isn't here. And I'm sorry again but I expected a lot from you. I know you can do better." Jake reprimanded him.
"I'm.. I'm sorry, Jake. It's just that I'm in the middle of a break with my wife. And I find it hard to focus because of that. I'm sorry, I'll try and do better. I promise." He pleaded.
"Oh, I see. I thought you guys were alright. I mean.. I saw the interview where you clarified everything."
"Yeah.. she.. umm. She asked for a divorce after that interview. Please don't tell anyone about this. I really don't want anyone else to know." He replied, feeling more embarrassed that he had to share that heartbreaking detail about his life to Jake.
"Oh, okay. That's tough. I understand. However, I hope you can find a way to deal with that so you can get your focus back on shooting this movie. You know, every single day we spend thousands of dollars filming this and we have a schedule to follow. So I would really appreciate it if you could try harder and focus on shooting." Jake requested.
He nodded. "I'll try my best, Jake."
"Tell you what, why don't you take a break now and do whatever you need to do so you can come back tomorrow and focus. I'm just going to continue shooting the action scenes with John now." Jake offered.
"Oh, Jake. That's really thoughtful of you. Thank you." Sebastian said.
"I suggest you get some sleep. You look like you haven't slept in days." Jake commented.
"I will, thanks Jake." He nodded.
He felt utterly embarrassed but also felt somehow free. He felt exhausted and sleep was something he really needed.
"No problem. See you tomorrow, Sebastian." Jake clapped his shoulder and nodded. He then left him to explain things to John and his other co-stars.
Sebastian looked up and saw John and his co-stars looking at him in concern.
He hated to disappoint everyone so he would try to do his best tomorrow. But for now he was free. So he gave his co-stars a wave and a smile then turned around and headed back towards his trailer.
He was almost near his trailer when he saw a familiar face. Anthony Mackie was walking towards him. Anthony noticed him and his face broke into a wide smile.
"Seabass!" Anthony called out to him.
"Mack attack." He smiled wide as they stopped in front of each other.
"How are you, man?" Anthony asked him as he opened his arms wide and engulfed him in his embrace.
"Good.. good.. how are you?" He asked, hugging Anthony back.
"I'm good too. I was about to pay you a visit on set. I thought you were supposed to be shooting?" Anthony asked, his eyebrows raised as he released him from his hug.
"Uh.. yeah. John is replacing me for the rest of the day. Jake is just going to shoot the action scenes." He explained.
"Huh? I thought you usually do the action scenes yourself. Well.. most of them anyway." Anthony commented.
"Yeah. I.. uh.. have been having some difficulties in concentrating today so Jake gave me permission to take a break for the rest of the day." He responded.
"Difficulties in concentrating? Is there a problem, Seb?" Anthony asked, his face showed concern.
"Yeah. There is. Come on, let's get inside my trailer. This will take a long time to explain." He said as he put his arm around Anthony's shoulder and guided him towards his trailer.
It really did take a while for him to explain everything to Anthony. By the time he was finished, Anthony gave him a look of complete disbelief.
"Your wedding and honeymoon story sounds like a movie." Anthony commented.
"What?!" Sebastian exclaimed out loud. Leave it to Anthony to make weird comments like this.
"I didn't mean that to hurt you. That was a compliment." Anthony corrected.
"Uh huh yeah. Well it's a nightmare for me." He sighed.
"I bet it is. And I'm really sorry that you're going through this right now. Speaking from personal experience, divorce is hard and messy. I don't ever wish it on anybody." Anthony said, leaning back on his chair and looking at him with his eyebrows furrowed.
"Yeah. But you got through it. And you even got back together with your wife. How did you do it? I really can use some pointers right now." Sebastian said, a glimmer of hope entered his heart somehow. If Anthony could get back together with his wife after years of divorce, then surely he could too.
"Well.. for starters we have four kids. So, they're our main reason for getting back together. But in the end, no matter how cliche it is, it's always because of love." Anthony replied, smiling a little.
"Love huh?"
"Yeah, good ole' plain love. I realized that I can't live without her and that there is no woman out there more perfect for me than her." Anthony said, his eyes glazed with love a little as it seemed he was imagining his wife.
"I'm happy to hear that Anthony. But, she said love is not enough." He said bitterly.
"Oh she's right, it's not enough. You still have to put in the work, communicate better and compromise. But without love, you wouldn't have cared to do any of that, right?"
"Hmm.. true." He said, rubbing his chin as he contemplated what Anthony just said.
"Anyway, you still love her right?" Anthony asked.
"With all my heart." He replied wistfully.
"Then fight for her. Win back her heart. Remember what you did back then to win her heart when you were just starting out and do that again. No wait, don't just do that again, but do it better." Anthony said as he leaned across to him and clapped his shoulder.
"You can do this, Seb. I have faith in you. And I'll help you out if you want me to." Anthony winked.
"Thank you so much, Anthony." He smiled wide.
Listening to Anthony made him feel like the fog had been lifted from his mind and heart. He could see the sun now. He could see that he still had hope of getting back together with her. But like what his mother and Anthony said, he needed to do the work. And that was what he intended to do.
"So, do you remember what you did in the beginning of your relationship?" Anthony asked, leaning back on his chair.
"Yup. I do. But you know what, I think I'm going to use a somewhat different strategy this time." He replied with a twinkle in his eyes.
---
A/N : About Anthony Mackie's status, here I mentioned that he got back together with his wife. In real life I think he's still divorced. Just FYI in case you guys are wondering. But he does have four kids.

How I imagine afterwar Eruri
Erwin and Levi parted ways for some time,
Erwin left to be alone, basically being hit with 'survivors guilt' after being the one whose sent so many people, even children to their deaths, and feeling like it wasn't fair for him to relax while his comrades died for the cause.
He thought about commiting suicide a couple of times, but silenced the thoughts by telling himself their sacrifices were the reason he's able to still breathe right now, and he should be grateful for that.
Levi, on the other hand, felt empty, and, he hated to admit it but he did, feel lonely. At first, he helped some citizens around, he was humanity's strongest, after all. Unfortunately for him, he grew weaker and weaker without Erwin's presence, and he didn't realise the reason behind it was his ackerbond. 'It's just old age finally catching up' he thought to himself. Then, he opened up a teashop.
A few months, maybe a halfyear later, Erwin decided to stop by. He hated that he had to bother Levi, thinking he might make him uncomfortable, that Levi wouldn't enjoy his presence, but he did, more than he thought he would. He even moved in.
They lived in a house with a built in teashop, one that's got books in it - which Erwin insisted on getting, and they were happy.
they also had a cat, that just happened to wander in their house, and they took it in.
Yet they still thought of eachother as friends, close friends, comrades, nothing more.
They lived together, yet slept in seperate rooms, helped eachother out, looking like a married couple. Only if they'd realised that's what the future held for them.
As a few weeks passed from Erwin's arrival / moving in to Levi's house, they both began feeling something more than a friendship. Best friends? They could've been, but this was more.
One day, Levi was shopping as Erwin was taking care of the teashop. He trusted him so much that he'd entrusted him his teashop for a couple of minutes, which he wouldn't let anyone do.
In the shop, he'd started realising, all the times there was tension between them, romantic tension, and it clicked. He stopped moving for a moment, before thinking more into it.
He'd been living with a man he'd loved most of his life without realising it.
And so did Erwin, except he had realised sooner, like always. However, he didnt want to make levi uncomfortable, as well as he felt like he didn't deserve to receive love after all he's done till now. Levi thought so similarly.
One evening, they closed the shop early, and went for a walk. They walked away from the city, admiring the view without the walls blocking it. They sat down on a bench infront of a lake, looking at it.
Then it happened, they both knew what to do, they talked, it got quiet, and they finally pressed their lips together, as if they'd done that a milion times before.
Then, they talked about their feelings, realising they were mutual, and both just relaxed together. For the first time ever, Levi felt like he'd be able to sleep soundly, without his insomnia bothering him.
After returning from their walk they had dinner in mostly silence, just appreciating eachothers company. As they finished eating, Levi finally spoke, inviting Erwin to his bedroom.
He never would've thought he'd be comfortable with sharing a bed, but it felt just right with Erwin. At first, it was awkward. Then Erwin shifted closer to Levi, placing a hand around his beloved, and they cuddled.
Neither of them had ever expected they'd do such thing, cuddling felt childish, yet it felt as such a right thing for them to do.
They haven't even expected that they'd both end up having sex. None of them had ever done that, for different reasons. Levi found it disgusting, and Erwin never needed to do such thing, he felt like he didn't deserve to be loved and to be the one to love Levi especially. yet they both did it, feeling satisfied, for once not thinking about anything but one another. It felt nice for both of them.
They then dated openly, even had a small wedding, their friends were invited, the ones that have survived at least. Everyone enjoyed it, even Levi, who hated loud parties yet laughed and smiled when Hange splashed wine on themseves and Moblit had to clean it, when Miche and Nanaba had to go outside, Miche claiming it was the smell, when Erwin and Levi kissed infront of everyone, when what used to be Levi's squad brought expensive gifts from foreign places.
Erwin still often gets flashbacks, and Levi calms him down with tea and always tries to comfort him.
But overall, they're happy together. they smile more often than ever. The most they've smiled was when the Levi’s squad met up at their teashop for Levi's 45th birtday, bringing their kids as well as their partners as a surprise.
They read books and drink tea in the evenings after closing their shop and calling it yet another perfect day of not having to worry about more than accidentally spilling tea.
They grow old together, sometimes Aruannie, Eremika, Yumihisu, Jeamarco, Sasha x Nicollo, Connie, come to visit them, bringing their children too, and they both live peacefully, enjoying their happily ever after.
They lived long enought, Erwin died first, Levi about a week and a half later. Dying of old age was a luxory they never thought they'd be able to afford.
They were burried together. None of them would ever have expected that people would've showed up to their funerals, bringing flowers. Their teashop was given to Mikasa, as she was the closest relative to Levi, and Erwin had none. Eremika then used it to raise their children there in honor of Erwin and Levi.
They both made it to the history books.
- apologies for any mistakes

hiya!! i originally wrote this on wattpad but decided to post it here too!!
story contains: impact play, bdsm, dumbification, & daddy kink ;)
bokuto shows you just how much you mean to him.
——————————————
you were a constant in bokutos life ever since you met shortly after his graduation from fukurodani. he relied on you to be there for him when he lost or even when he won. of course he could turn to akaashi but since he never continued volleyball he never wanted to bother him.
however you came into the picture on a whim. bokuto and the rest of the msby boys ended up taking a team getaway at the hot springs you just so happened to work at. you two got chatting and hit it off right away!
that was a year ago and now you two are head over heels in love with each other. everyone kinda saw it coming but you two honestly. as of right now you sat in the stands, watching your boyfriend and his friends play their national playoffs.
you knew how hard he'd been working for this. how many hours he put into the game. you two would sit up until the early morning going over plays and techniques he'd been working on. through bokuto you started learning how volleyball worked, you knew what to cheer for now and what certain words meant.
by the end of the game you realized something. they were one point away from a win. that being said you upped the ante on your cheering. you thought about calling his name out and wishing him like but he was definitely in his own world right now. watching his concentration was actually rather hot. it reminded you of how he would stare at your body before absolutely devouring it.
you shook those thoughts out of your head, now wasn't the time. you gulped and pressed your thighs together, focusing the best you could on the game. suddenly the ball was up in the air, everyone in the stands went quiet just to see who would win. this last point means everything...so when bokuto ran for the server, smacking it down hard and fast against the other side of the court everything went silent for a moment before there were loud cheers.
the whistle was blown. they'd won. you quickly jumped up, running out of the stands and straight to the court, attacking him in a hug. "BOKUTO YOU DID IT!" you smiled, laughing some more when he picked you up and spun you around. "did you see that?! i was fucking amazing!! and it was all thanks to you my sunshine!" he hugged you close, kissing the top of your head.
you suddenly were engulfed in another hug but this time from two more sweaty boys, hinata and atsumu. "good job out there guys!" you smile to them, gently ruffling their hair. "you all played amazingly! you could feel the energy from all the way over there!" you added, laughing when bokuto pouted at them hugging you.
"you're the best person ever y/n! are you coming to the post game dinner with us? you should! you played a big role in keeping bokuto in shape" the little orange smiled, his face practically begging you to go. "if you guys will have me!" you hummed which earned a symphony of "yes!" from all the boys.
—————————————
after everything was said and done you ended up in the car with bokuto, driving to the restaurant kyoomi had chosen. "you really did amazing today koutarou" you smiled gently grabbing his hand off your thigh and kissing it, taking the time to notice how much volleyball had an effect on his hands.
"ah..thanks babe, you know you don't have to flatter me so much! i'm okay! i'm just happy knowing you had a good time today" he smiled wide, taking his eyes off the road for a moment to gaze at you. "but let's face it bo, you're destined for something greater..an amazing career in volleyball doing what you love..i'm just enjoying our time while we have it" you stated making him pull the car over and look at you.
"what are you talking about?" he asked raising an eyebrow at you. "when you have to move around a lot for volleyball..or maybe you find some really skinny model who has money and can give you beautiful babies" you now met his eyes, "i feel like one day i won't matter anymore..so i guess i just want to make sure that i love you as much as i can until then." you explained watching how his eyes reacted to everything you were saying.
"you don't understand it do you? the way i play and the way i live my life is all because of you. i play with my heart because i get so excited just to see you proud of me, i wake up every morning with the goal of making sure i fall asleep with you. everything is for you. i wouldn't want anyone else. i want to be married to you someday, i would leave everything behind just to—" you cut him off by kissing him. it was a kiss driven by passion and love for him.
"prove it." you whispered on his lips. you knew where this would get you, you both were aware of it actually. "get in the back." he stated before starting the car back up and driving to a more secluded place. he knew he could've just taken you back home but what was the fun in that.
by the time he was in the back seat with you, you had already undressed and were gently playing with yourself so eager just to be with him. he thought this was cute so he watched you with sharp eyes, his goal was to intimidate you which definitely worked. "hey baby?" he asked before gently gripping your neck in one hand, his other holding both of your cheeks squished together. "who the fuck put the idea in your head that you weren't good enough for me? was it yourself? you're so cute when you're stupid" he smiled, treating you like a child as he talked to you.
you blushed knowing exactly what he was doing so you played along with the act, "it was me..i really am stupid aren't i daddy?" you could say his name but it would ruin the moment because that's exactly what he wanted from you. "so that's the game you're playing huh? okay. that's fine darling." he smiled so sinister it was almost terrifying before his hands dipped into your waistband, pulling your pants off your body.
"what are you doing?" you commented noticing how after your pants were off he just stared at you. "i'm admiring you and how delicious you look. wondering how i'm going to absolutely ruin you till you're fucked dumber than you already are." he hummed casually before starting to undo his pants. his favourite part about topping you was getting to tease you more than he already did outside of the bedroom.
you were still flustered from his previous words that had your mind racing to even notice how he simply picked you up so you were on your hands and knees in front of him. "open your mouth." bokuto's hand found your hair and tugged you forward harshly so your mouth was pressed against his shaft. you immediately got to work sucking on his cock, tears pricking at your eyes from the size adjustment.
"that's it..you can't take all of me can you? you need to try harder than that honey." he teased you before thrusting his hips up into your mouth, smirking at the choking noises that came from you. soon he became less focused on teasing you and more on his own pleasure.
"ah fuck~b-baby you look so pretty when you t-take all of my cock-" he stuttered out, his hips getting sloppier with their thrusts made you know he was getting close. this motivated you to do anything and everything for him. you pulled your mouth of his dick, giggling when you heard his whine of protest turn into a loud moan of pleasure while you jerked him off quickly.
"come on bo...cum for me so i can feel you inside" you moaned knowing that would get him right where you wanted him. you knew it worked when he was matching your hands movement with his thrusts, loud moans and whines leaving his mouth until he finished, getting it all over your hand and his lower stomach. without a single word he laid you down on the back seat, hovering over you slightly he pushed a single finger inside you, moving it slowly so you could get used to it before speeding it up when you relaxed around his finger.
"tryna make me cum before i even get inside you? that's fine baby i'll just do the same." he winked, "did you think you'd just get off free like that? oh no baby you've got to be punished for talking so badly about my partner like that." bokuto smirked before slipping one more finger in, practically drilling it into you.
you were too lost in the pleasure to hear him, hands grasping at anything they could find. your nails dug so deep into his arm it drew blood but he didn't mind. "what's the matter hun, is it too much? do you need me to stop?" his fingers stopped moving which made you rolled your hips. "n-no! please don't stop they felt so good.." you whined softly. hearing your whines made him laugh softly before moving them again quickly.
with your head against the seat you arched your back slightly while you felt your orgasm approaching. bokuto picked up on this and began to kiss at your neck, "good baby..let it wash over you, let it start making you even more of a dumb slut for me" he whispered in your ear before nipping at it softly.
that was all you needed to hear before cumming, your hands gripping onto his biceps while moans just tumbled out of your mouth. this is what he loved to see. he felt so good knowing he put you in so much ecstasy. "good..good baby..you did so good" he softly praised before kissing your cheeks to help you calm down from the intense high you just felt.
he waited a couple moments to make sure you were okay, stroking himself softly in the process. "are you okay? can i ruin you now?" he smiled, earning a small breathy laugh from you. "yeah of course daddy, i want you so bad" you whined, wanting to keep him in the mood. you loved when bokuto showed no mercy on you, treating you like nothing but a toy until after where he showered you in love and affection.
bokuto didn't say anything as he pushed your knees up to your chest slightly before sliding into your hole with ease. this made you gasp and cry out in a mix of pain and pleasure, "since you're so impatient, i'll just have to go fast right? show you just how stupid you are." he smirked before practically slamming into you, hands finding your hips. "fucking christ bo!" you moaned loudly, earning a smack across the face from him.
he never hit you hard and it never happened outside of a consensual bdsm scene so it didn't phase either of you. "shut the fuck up, you know damn well that's not my name. did you forget who you belong to? sucha stupid pet" he laughed loudly, loving torturing you with the fact you had made a stupid decision.
what was minutes truly felt like an eternity with him, feeling him slam into you over and over while soft praises and degrading sentences slipped out of his lips. "such a good pet" "dumb slut" "so good on my cock" "i'm going to fuck you so good"
they left his mouth like a song, getting so lost in the moment of making you feel so fucked out you went dumb. slowly his plan had worked as you felt your head start to go fuzzy, suddenly the only thing on your mind was him and how good his cock felt. your eyes went hooded and your mouth hung open slightly, not even realizing you were drooling slightly. "oh no..is my little angel all fucked out? daddy fucked you stupid didn't he? you probably can't even talk can you? good. pathetic bitches like you don't deserve to use their words. you gunna cum? yeah? go on my sweet dummy, cum all over daddy-" you didn't need to hear anything else before you came, hard.
your whole body twitched and loud moans slipped from your mouth as he got you there. "good job lovely.." he whispered before groaning at how tight you clenched down on him during your high, resulting in him pulling out and stroking himself quickly, his cum splattering on your tummy. "fucking shit" he whined leaning down to pant against you neck.
quickly he sat up and cupped your face, "angel? are you okay? if you can't talk that's alright i just need to see a thumbs up or down okay?" he spoke softly watching as you nodded and help your thumb up to him. "perfect..come on, i'll tell the others you weren't feeling so good..we can order in our dinner and i'll run us a bath okay? oh! what do i always say?" he smiled watching your lips move to say it but the words never coming out.
bokuto laughed softly before running a hand through your hair, "what happens in bed is for fun. you are smart, kind, loving, beautiful, handsome, and important." he smiled kissing your cheeks.
"come on my baby, let's go home."

Weddings and what could’ve been’s // F.W. x F! Reader
Tumblr media
Hi! This is my first ever posted fic, I hope you’ll like it!
PAIRING: Fred Weasley x F! Reader
Genre: Angst
Summary: You’ve been friends with Fred since forever. But what happens when the one you love is not feeling the same and now he’s getting married to the girl he loves. Based off of this song :))
Word count: 2.5k
It was supposed to be a good day. Waking up, getting ready for another day of writing her novel about picturing a certain red head as love interest of her novel. But it all flushed down when she saw a small envelope just sitting there on the table, almost as if it was mocking her. It's been sitting there ever since it arrived yesterday afternoon, not expecting to receive an invitation to the wedding of one person she didn't want to participate in. Fredrick Gideon Weasley. Her best friend since their second year of Hogwarts. It was almost ironic how a simple wedding invitation can break a heart that's already been on the verge of breaking, tears were rolling down her face, not a single sound could've been heard besides her sobs. Her best friend/roommate ran out of her room as soon as she heard her. Not expecting to see her best friend on the floor crying over a single paper, she realises what happened, the one thing she dreaded even though it was only a matter of time before it happened. The way Fred was talking about that girl, she knew that her best friend was in a wait of a permanent broken heart. But now a day later, she decided to throw the invitation in the rubbish, deciding no matter how much she cared about her best friend she knew she wouldn't be able to handle watching him promising himself to someone else for forever. Taking out a bottle of her favourite rose, she pours some of it in a glass and heads back to her room, deciding to forget about her heartbreak by throwing herself into her fictional world where she was the one Fred loved.
Soon, she'll realise that not even wine and her own fictional world would help cure her broken heart. Not when the one she's so in love with decided so pay her a visit, not hearing anything from her in over a week. He wondered if she got the invitation to the wedding, the day he couldn't wait for it to finally happen. The thing is, he's not going to be able to do it, if his soulmate in a form of his best friend isn't there by his side, making sure he doesn't panic like he often happens to do in stressful situations.
Upon hearing knocking on her door, she slowly gets up from her desk, heading to open the door, not expecting to see the person she wanted to see the least, standing in front of her.
Every day they were closer to the day that changes everything for forever. One of them was dreading that day, while the other one couldn't want for it to come any sooner. Soon it was the day of rehearsal dinner or also known as the day before it all goes shit show for her. Everything was ready, her outfit ready for tomorrow. Deciding she wasn't strong enough to make it through the wedding alone, she begged her best friend to go with her, helping her survive with alcohol. The wedding was in the backyard of The Burrow, but it wasn't anything special or near as big as it was Bill's, both Fred and Lillian agreeing it was best to have a smaller intimate wedding with their closest ones there. Apparating a minute away from The Burrow, she walks towards the door, knocking softly before entering the house. Everyone was on their feet, final preparations for tomorrow are being made. Ginny was the first one to notice her, running towards the girl. Brining her in the hug, she laughs. '' Hi Ginny '' they pull away from the hug, Ginny looking at the girl. '' You look gorgeous y/n. I'm still angry at my brother for not marrying you. '' y/n rolls her eyes playfully. '' Stop it, you know we would never work as a couple, plus Lillian is a lovely girl, I'm sure she'll be a good sister-in-law. '' they talked as they walked upstairs heading towards Ginny's room.  What no one knew is that the night of the Yule ball, Fred was ready to confess his dying crush on his best friend, that's why he brought her to the astronomy tower. He had it all planned out  until they were interrupted, and it was all ruined. Fred often wondered if they hadn't been interrupted would've it been her who he was marrying. Would it work out or would it fail and therefore ruin their friendship. George was the only one along with Lee who knew about it. That's why the night before the wedding he found himself sitting in front of the small lake they had behind their house, wondering if Lillian is truly the one he wants to marry. Y/n found him after a few minutes, joining him. '' I knew I'd find you here. '' he said nothing, just kept looking in front of him. '' What's bothering you, Freddie? '' she gently took his hand into hers, brushing her thumb gently across his hand. '' I'm just worried if I'm making a mistake or rushing this. Before tonight, I couldn't been happier waiting for this day to finally come, but now that it's here all my mind seems to do is make me wonder if I'm marrying the wrong girl. Maybe I should just marry you, we've been friends for forever, it wouldn't change much. '' he lets out a small laugh. Letting go off his hand, I grab his face with my hands on both sides of his face. '' Fred I need you to look at me. Do you love Lillian? '' he nods his head. '' I don't think I've ever loved anyone the way I love her. '' a small smile appears in the corner of his mouth. '' Do you see yourself being with her for the rest of your life? Is she the one you want to see growing old with you? '' y/n questions him. Fred waits for a few seconds before answering, with a big smile on his face. '' Yeah, I do. God, why was I even doubting this. This is why I need you by my side, you always know how to get me out of my head. Thank you, love. '' he pulls her into a strong hug. '' Hey, if you need a getaway car tomorrow, me and George will have one prepared and then we can get married. '' she joked, even though there was some half truth in it. '' it's late, I have to go get that beauty sleep for tomorrow so do you. Goodnight Freddie. '' she plants a small kiss on his cheek before apparating herself back to her flat, before crashing down in the middle of living room, bursting into tears of heartbreak. The pieces that weren't shatter from before, had shattered now. There were no pieces left of her heart. The rest of the night she spent in the arms of her best friend, crying herself to sleep.
Tumblr media
It was funny really. The story of how they met, how they became inseparable and how she eventually fell in love with him. The latter didn't come to much of a surprise. How could someone not fall in love with him, when he's the most amazing person she's ever come across. It was their second year in Hogwarts, and she was heading towards the library, deciding to prepare herself for the upcoming Potions exam. Merlin knows how much she dreaded those. It wasn't her fault, most people on her mom's side of family never really knew how to do potions. As she was walking there, someone grabbed her by her arm and started dragging her away with them in a direction of the nearest broom closet. In a second she realised it was one of the Weasley twins. Not even needing to ask why he was in such a hurry, already knowing they caused another trouble. Quickly running inside the broom closet, one of the twins put a hand on her mouth, signalling for her to be quiet. Rolling her eyes, she did as told until we heard Filch and Mrs. Norris passing by. Another minute passed on until he removed his hand from her mouth. '' I'm Fred. '' he introduced himself. '' Y/n '' she shook his hand. '' Care to explain why you dragged me into this dusty broom closet with yourself? '' Fred laughed. '' Had to move you out of the way from Filch or else you'd be in the trouble along with me. '' nodding her head, she left the closet. And that was the beginning of their weird friendship. From participating in the pranks, to making excuses why they're not in the certain classes you shared with them to Fred asking her to go to the Yule Ball with him, leading us to the night they had almost kissed. Somewhere in between she slowly fell for her best friend without intending to. It all felt like a dream. Dancing with her best friend so closely, to sneaking off to the astronomy tower because that night, the stars were shining so bright. Slow dancing in the moonlight, it all felt almost to perfect. Both of them slowly leaning towards each other until they heard a crashing noise, interrupting their intimate moment. It made her realise that it was for the best for them to be just friends, their friendship being worth more than a relationship not knowing how it'll end. Almost as if it was a silent agreement between them, neither of the two brought it up ever again. She would never want to ruin his day, so yes she had agreed to be his second best man, no matter how much it'll hurt to be there so up close seeing it all unfold almost like in a film scene.
Tumblr media
Next morning when she woke up, she felt so exhausted while getting ready. She barely had any energy in her body and she was pretty sure she also had no tears left. Putting on her beautiful dress, she did her makeup and hair. She was ready to stand there next to her best friend, and watch him marry the love of his life, no matter how much the fact that it's not her hurted. It was a beautiful ceremony, he looked so beautiful in his dark blue suit, it really made his hair and eyes stand out a bit more, and don't her started on how beautiful the bride was. Her gown looked straight out of a fairytale. A few tears espaced during the ceremony but when George asked her why is she crying, she brushed it off as happy tears, even though she knew she didn't fool George with that lie. During the reception she mostly stayed at her table, trying to drown her sorrow in the wine and other alcoholic drinks. She watched as her roommate/best friend danced with George along with watching Fred and Lillian dance together like it was only two of them. Molly and Ginny often came and talked to me, but it wasn't long until I couldn't handle it anymore and just drowned the rest of my drink before saying goodbye to everyone, making an excuse saying she unfortunately had to go home and finish her book, her publisher gave her a deadline until tomorrow. The last person left to say goodbye to was Fred. Tapping him on the shoulder, she gives him a smile as he turns around. '' Congratulations Freddie boy once again. But I have to leave now unfortunately, I have a book to finish. '' Before she could even say anything he took her hands and put them around his neck, pulling her closer to him. '' Just this one dance and then I'm setting you free, okay? '' He begged her. Nodding her head, they start slow dancing. '' I'm really proud of you Freddie, you finally found the one you always talked about. Hopefully one day I'm gonna find my prince charming one day. '' she rested her head against his chest, listening to his heartbeat. '' I'm sorry I wasn't the one for you. '' he said, making the tears slowly start pooling in my eyes. '' That's not for you to apologise, we're too good friends for us to work in a relationship. Us not kissing that night of the yule ball was for the best. If we kissed who knows if you'd meet Lillian, your true love. Don''t you worry about me. '' and with that she pulled away from him, placing a small kiss on his cheek before apparating home. Letting him stand there alone, her words sinking in, making him wonder again if he had made a mistake by not letting her know of his feeling that night. But soon his thoughts were brushed away as he felt the lips of his wife on his.
Tumblr media
'' Hello love '' he greets her after she moved aside, letting him in. Pulling her into a hug, he goes into the living room, while she still stands there shocked at her door. Quickly getting rid of her thoughts, she heads over to where he was. '' Hi Freddie, what are you doing here? I didn't expect you to visit. '' she sits down next to him. '' Well it's been over a week since I've last heard from you, so I decided to pay you a visit. She nods her head. '' Yeah, sorry about that. I started working on my novel again and that's all I've focusing on recently. Didn't mean to neglect your need for constant attention. '' she jokes, even though she knew he had his fiancée know to give him attention. Fred rolls his eyes. '' Yeah yeah whatever. Listen I have a question/favour to ask you. '' she furrows her eyebrows. '' Okay, I'm listening. '' taking a deep breath, he begins. '' So as you probably know I proposed to Liliana. Speaking of that, have you received my invitation to the wedding? '' it's been over a month since they got engaged, and yet she still couldn't bare the thought of losing Fred forever. '' Yes I have, it's very beautiful Freddie, I am very happy for the two of you. '' she gives him her best fake smile, not wanting to upset her best friend. '' Thank you, love. My question is, would you like to be my second best man? Along with George of course. I don't think that I would be able to do it without you by my side. Please say yes or at least think about it. It would really mean everything to me. '' This was definitely something she hadn't expect. There goes your plan on not going to the wedding, making an excuse of why she can't make it and get drunk in her room while watching her favourite romcoms. '' Of course Freddie, anything for you. '' those words came out before you even had a chance to think about them.

Hongjoong always enjoyed watching as the wind bent under the will of his arrows, obeying them and letting the weapons find their way right in the middle of the red target. It brought pride in his chest, and helped him feel more like a boy stuck with a crown on his head than a prince stuck with the future of a kingdom on his back. He loved to see how flour would purr out of the sacks full of the snow like powder that stood in the royal yard, and so did his friends, as they always cheered him on, despite getting their expensive clothes all dirtied up.
Saying that Kim Hongjoong's life was anything but exiting would've been the understandment of the year, that only if the words wouldn't have reached his mother's ears. However the queen was always aware of anything and everything going on in her kingdom, as if the old woman with her hair like silver had eyes in every corner of the territory. The prince always disliked that in her as he himself was never allowed to even leave the palace without one of his parents following. Of course, he was grateful that the queen and the king were the most understanding royalties he's ever met, and he got to speak to a lot on a daily, however, when it came to actually understanding him, sadly they were left lacking. The prince hated the way he pictured himself in this situation, but he couldn't do much and just accept that he was like a swan trapped in a dove's cage, and it made him feel completely hopeless.
"You'll try getting out this evening, won't you?" The words slipped prince Wooyoung's lips as if he asked the same thing over and over. The smile on his lips had always faded during previous days, as the answer would've been a sad shake of the head, but the said day it only bloomed as Hongjoong turned his head around, looking at his bow as if it was the most interesting thing he's seen in his lifetime. "Holy shit, he didn't deny it!" Wooyoung spoke, a loud sound like a hyena's laughter ringing from his lungs as he repeatedly slapped his best friend's back. The other prince tried moving away, his abused body protesting with each hit Wooyoung delivered, but deciding that he'd fail anyways, Yeosang resorted to catching the younger's hand and delivering a harsh hit back. "But he did not agree to it either."
It took only two more hours for the man to find himself sitting at a lavish dinner table, all kind of foods placed before them, yet the anxiety growing inside his heart made it easy for his appetite to stray away. "Hongjoong?" His father's voice was harsh as he demanded the prince to give him his attention. His mother's words followed right after, tone dripping with honey and Hongjoong knew something was in her mind. "The date for your birthday ball is approaching." She stated, and the man couldn't help but try to anticipate what she would've said next. "And we thought that it would be a rather perfect time for you to find a bride."
The prince sucked in a hard breath, not trusting his voice to speak up his mind as it could've cracked, and he was not a teenager anymore, so he feared the way it could've made him look weak in front of the King. Hongjoong had met many princesses, duchesses, nobilities of all kinds, even country girls with exceptional talents, but none ever intrigued him and he surely wasn't going to choose a bride just yet. Hongjoong liked to believe he was too you for marriage, but his two friends always nagged that if he'll dare pass twenty five by himself, no princess will ever marry him for his heart, but for his crown instead, to which Hongjoong only scoffed as he dispatched another set of arrows. "I don't think anyone's marrying me for my heart now either."
"So what do you say?" He felt as if his words were stuck in his throat and he was unable to get then out, but even if he would've answered as he truly believed, he knew his pleadings would've fallen on deaf ears. Hongjoong knew this day was going to come sooner or earlier, he just didn't expect it quite yet. "I agree, mother," the prince didn't know what gave him the courage to stretch his words, or to arch his eyebrows upwards, or smile like he did, all the while still looking in his plate. "However i also have a proposal.."
Truly, Hongjoong doesn't know what came over him that evening, yet it was because of his boldness that he found himself mounting one of the finest mares in the stables. The prince had taken care of the horse since it was barely standing, he himself being only a child, enchanted by the pure white little fur on it. He's called her Zoya, a fitting name for a mount like herself, and despite leaving the palace only a couple of times, alongside of his father or mother, he considered the creature loyal enough to not abandon him when he'll most need her.
With his bow resting in at his hip, the prince started following a rather small river, which eventually brought him in town and down the valley the palace rested on. Hongjoong wearily adventured himself in the wide forest that spread before him, the darkness of it making him shiver slightly as his mind finally wrapped around all the danger that could've hid around. Wolves, bears, mountain lions, all kind of creatures lurked in the forest, however the silver haired prince advanced nonetheless, clutching his bow tighter as if it could've made him feel secure once more.
Just as he was about to urge his horse to start running, the sound of rapid wings flapping in the air made his skin crowl and his head shoot back, his eyes snapping rapidly on a flock of birds. Their fathers were as white as you could've imagined and as pure as it could've gotten, their bodies long, majestic and elegant, and Hongjoong couldn't help but let his mouth hang open as he stared at the beautiful swans that took over the sky. Within seconds, the brave prince clutched his bow and aimed skillfully, ready to let his arrow pierce through what he nominated as the prettiest swan, but Hongjoong wasn't as hard hearted as his father believed him to be, his eyes saddening and his chest burning as he asked himself how could he kill such a beautiful creature.
The prince sighed deeply, putting his bow back and giving the horse a gentle nudge as a sign to follow the flock and Zoya took off obediently, rushing Hongjoong through the woods. He enjoyed the way wind blew through his silver locks, caressing his cheeks harshly and he love the adrenaline that came with riding this fast and thinking about how free one could be, thinking about what he's missed his whole life. Hongjoong knew that where there was a smaller river, there had to be a wider water source near by, and the swans that seemed to start heading down only gave him more reasons to believe he was right. The only problem was that he was not expecting the woods to end so quickly, his horse coming to an abrupt halt as it hooves planted in the mud as harsh as it could.
He jumped eagerly from his horse and there, right before him and barely at two steps away from where his horse stopped, a grand body of water spread itself so widely that the other side of the lake was barley visible through the thin mist. The water sparkled in the shy sunlight of the evening, the sound of a small cascade barely audible in the back and the prince felt his jaw drop slightly one more time. If his mother would've been with him, she wouldn't even look at the beauty in front of her, but would scold him about how unmannered he looked and how that wasn't suitable for princes like him, not even in a million years, but as he spotted the swans floating happily around, everything about manners felt long forgotten.
The boy in him had the urgent need to sit down in the slightly damp yet soft grass, eyes wide on the beautiful birds before him, yet the mature side in him wanted to mount back on his horse and move forward. There was so much more to explore and so little time, his mind wrapping around the fact that his father had gave him one single day to ride around the kingdom, with the condition that he'd return the evening before the horologe rang three in the morning. Therefore, the prince clutched on the horse's reins ready to mount, sparing one last glance at the lake, who's water started reflecting the rosy color of the sky.
Hongjoong sucked in his breath, feeling how air left his lungs as he swore he started imagining things. His head whipped back, the forest remaining the only sight for a while, and he took his time thinking about what came into his sight seconds ago. Not long after, he turned around and came to the horrifying conclusion that he was indeed watching as the small bodies of the swans, that now rested calmly on the shore, morphed and twisted, becoming mere humans. Their build was more than just elegant, bodies long and delicate, nothing short of pure beauty. Each wore long gowns, as white and pure as their dazzling wings were, little silver necklaces with one sapphire gem decorating their necks, yet he quickly took notice of the one swan that stood in the middle of them all, sitted on the old trunk of a tree, her eyes glimming with happiness while a silver tiara rested on the top of her head.
The prince watched them with amazement, as if they had put him under a thick spell like sirens would do to the poor sailors adventuring in the deep waters. Yet the more he watched, the more he couldn't help but feel like an intruder. The women danced and laughed when younger swans tried to impress them, then ran quickly to hide under an older swan's wing. The innocence of the moment was making his own heart fill with happiness, lips curling upwards gently and eyes turning in crescents as a squeaky giggle rolled off his throat.
The moment all the laughter stopped and a cutting silence settled in, the prince knew he had done something wrong. He felt the warmth that had built in his chest being stripped away from him, eyes growing wide and startled, just as the swans had became. It didn't take long for Hongjoong to see how every pair of eyes rested on him, making him feel anxious. Should he leave? Or was he supposed to stay now? Either way, the answer would've been to not panic, which he's failed the moment one of the youngest of the creatures approached him, yelling loudly the name of who he supposed was the swan with the tiara.
"Odette! Odette!" The small girl yelled happily, grabbing the prince's hand and jumping up and down while giggling. "It's prince charming! He's come to save us!" At her words, Hongjoong's cheeks started flaring pink, his heart beating faster as each pair of eyes rested on him, and he completely forgot about his tight grip on the bow in his other hand. The mare let out a loud cry, startled by the poor girl before slamming it's hooves harshly in the ground multiple times. In alert, Hongjoong let go of his bow, grabbing the girl's body in his arms and hurrying further away from the horse, who angrily took off back towards the town.
"Yuna, dear!" The swan quickly run to the prince, her hands coming to grip Hongjoong's arms, which were still holding tightly onto her. "Are you alright?" His voice sounded unsure as he let the woman gently take her in her own hold, hand placing the younger's head again her chest. When a little laughter came from Yuna's lips, everyone sighed in relief, smiles painted on the swans' lips when the smaller swan jumped back on the grass and began twirling around the royalty as she giggled loudly. "Yuna, where are your manners?" Another swan called out, her lips pulled in a thin line and her eyebrows furrowed, and she most definetly was the oldest of the group, her aura holding a maturity that amazed Hongjoong, despite her youthful features.
"Don't tense yourself, Yongsun." The youngest girl however rolled her eyes at the authority in Yongsun's voice, her own lips pulled in a pout as she bowed slightly in front of the silver haired man. He gave her a polite smile before bowing right back, sending the women in awe. "Come sit with us." The girl next to him offered, and he couldn't help but let his eyes wander over her striking features. She was an unique type of beauty, something he's never seen in anyone before, not even in all the princesses that's come to court him. He loved her voice as well, her tone being like honey to his ears and he couldn't even bring himself to care about the sudden drop of formalities when his orbs found hers.
"I would hate to make such beautiful ladies uncomfortable with my presence." He acknowledged humbly, felling a shy smile tug at his lips while hearing how the woman, who he assumed was named Odette, let out a wholehearted laugh, her eyes turning to crescents as one of her hands came to hide her mouth. "Bother us? It would be a crime to not enjoy your presence." She assured, nodding her head towards him like encouraging him to take a step forward, and so he did. One step at a time before he found himself sitting in the grass besides a couple of children, who playfully pulled at his clothes and wowed at the fine material.
"What's your name, son?" The oldest inquired, making Hongjoong's cheeks become pinker again, however this time, his eyes fell on the ground, where his ring decorated fingers gently pulled at the damb grass. "Kim Hongjoong." He spoke softly, not expecting any grand reactions form the group, who only nodded their heads in adoration. "We'll would you look at that, it really is prince charming." Another swan laughed, making Hongjoong himself let out a shy giggle, his eyes involuntary traveling to the swan with a tiara. It felt like hours that he stood there and just watched her, her skin bathing in the golden light of the sunset, and her eyes glimmering with love as she looked at each swan, before her eyes settled on him as well.
"Do you like to dance?" One of the younger swans looked at him curiously, her small hand coming to grasp at Hongjoong's with excitement as she awaited a reply, and when the prince nodded his head in agreemen, he girl softly tugged him after her, bringing him to his feet. Together, they marveled at the way the forest started lighting up as soon as the sun went under, mushrooms and strange plants glowing in the dark, along with the moss on the trees, it was absolutely beautiful. However Hongjoong didn't have long to observe the landscape, his attention being brought back to the small girl that began dancing with him as the others started singing along, and it didn't take a while for the swans to join in as well, a chorus of laughter spreading trough the rather dormant forest as they all had their fun.
Yongsun smiled happily as she took Odette's's hand, bringing her closer to the silver haired prince, who bowed deeply and offered his hand, an invitation, the girl concluded as she accepted happily. Perhaps only for tonight, she could forget about her curse, see herself as an actual princess and lose herself in the idea that Hongjoong would be the one to break the curse. However nothing like that happened as they began dancing, a tough wind starting to pull at their bodies, darkness spreading like a plague. The youngest girls found coverage behind the elders, while Hongjoong placed his arms around Odette and brought her closer to his chest, protecting the swan from whatever danger eas awaiting them.
"Well well.." the sharp voice of a girl that came with the calmness of the weather startled the prince, who felt reluctant to let go of the swan in his arms, yet still let go of her and watched as disgust painted over Odette's features and anger over the others. Just on the shore stood another woman, her gown way shorter and messier as well as dotted with darker shades of black. Her features were just as graceful and as striking as the others, her own features making her look like a devine, but something about her tone made the prince feel sure that she wasn't just as beautiful on the inside.
"The swan princess found herself a rescuer." She taunted while getting closer, her thumb and pointer wrapping around Odette's chin and bringing her closer. The princess, as the stranger called her, let out a scoff before pulling away, making the black swan laugh as if she was in hysterics. "Hoping you'll turn human again, little one?" She fumed, letting her eyes fall on Hongjoong, who stood stiff and angered, eyes on her like, if he had his arrows, he wouldn't have hesitated to let one of them pierce her heart.
"It'll never happen, we'll make sure of that, little Odette." The stranger cocked one of her eyebrows while shaking her head and her fingers glazed over the necklace she was proudly wearing. With a last laugh, the black swan took a couple of steps back before her body quickly morphed in the one of a swan, yet her feathers looked disturbed and unhealthy, her body, small, too weak for a creature that was supposed to look as beautiful as a swan.
"Who was that?" Hongjoong found himself asking, his own eyebrows arched upwards in confusion. His hand found Odette's and gripped it lightly a reassuring smile tugging at the girl's lips as she found comfort in the prince, who was still a stranger. "Odile.. Her father tried casting a curse on the town, however it did not go as planned and it ended up backfiring." She began explaining, choosing carefully her words as she took a glance at his chocolate warm eyes. The prince himself let his gaze meet hers, observant eyes curiously investigating her for a while before he spoke out loud. "Then why are you trapped as swans as well?" Silence washed over the group, the tension growing so thick that Hongjoong could've cut it with a knife. "I didn't say that it didn't work."
Not much passed before Hongjoong excused himself, getting up and fetching his bow that stood patiently in the grass. He's dropped it earlier when Zoya took off and completely forgot about it, however, in his favor, his loyal mare had found her way back to the lake, thirst driving it back the way it's come. After the prince found himself back on his mount, thanking all of his lucky stars for bringing it back to him, he finally let his eyes fall on the woman with a little crown on her head. He swore he felt his heart beating faster than ever, swirling with the desire to take her with him and keep her to himself, to make her his, and at that moment he knew that there was no one that could ever become his queen, except her.
"I must head out, however my family is hosting a ball tomorrow, at dusk, in order to find me a bride. It would be a honor to have you as a guest." He spoke softly, taking in the surprise on Odette's face, who only nodded before waving elegantly. With a polite nod from himself, the prince saw himself off as Zoya started galloping as fast as she could towards the palace.
"You must go." a cold and harsh voice spoke, making the girl's shoulders fall, she put so much hope that perhaps this time, she'll be able to find love by herself, and hearing her father speak like that made her whole world shatter. With a long sigh, the girl turned her head around, in order to hide her glassy eyes, telling herself that it all starts being unfair the moment even her father had turned against her. "I shall not, father." Was all Odile said before she lifted her chin high, eyes becoming sharp as she told herself that it was time to pull free from his strings, yet she had a feeling that it will not be as easy as denying his orders.
Rothbart, the black swan's father, smiled triumphally, as if the crown had already been placed on his head. He let himself turn around and face his only daughter and with a hushed voiced he whispered. "You'll go.. oh you'll go." Odile wanted to protest, to yell and say something, but the second her father touched her necklace, the poor girl knew it was too late. It took her a quick moment of thinking, preparing herself for what she might see, before she finally turned to the mirror that stood patiently on a wall. It was then that complete sorrow engulfed her heart, failing to find her own reflection. Instead, a familiar face started back at her, Odette's features looking so beautiful and so graceful, yet so ugly to Odile, as she was left to deal with her pain before she could've stopped it. "You do not have a choice."
"But what should i wear?" Odette sighed, bringing her hands in her lap as she eyed nervously the ground. Her crown was resting on her head, sapphires sparkling in the gentle moonlight. "I cannot show up to a royal ball in this gown.." as much as she loved her dress, it's material softer than silk and whiter than the pearls found in the ocean's depths, she feared it was nothing short of what noblewomen wore to sleep. The more she thought about it, the more Odette found herself trapped between her own thoughts. What if her hair was was not as elegant as the other princesses', what if her little white slippers were to dirty up the expensive carpets around the castle. Worse, despite knowing how to dance, Odette had little knowledge of etiquette, as she's grown up as a simple village girl. She was going to make a fool out of herself and the prince for inviting her.
"Worry not, Odette." A soft voice came from behind her, but before she's gotten the chance to turn around, a pair of cold hands rested on her bare shoulders, making her gasp at the sudden feeling of chilliness. Shivers traveled up and down on her back, eyes becoming wide in surprise as the speed she turned her head around could've given her a whiplash. Yongsun giggled softly, amused by the fact that she actually spooked the younger swan. "You look beautiful, and your gown is magnificent. Made with soft material like your wings, pulled together by a thread of magic. My dear, you look breathtaking."
Odette stood a second just looking at her friend, a long sigh leaving her mouth when she understood that Yongsun was right. All she had to do was to have fun, she'd be dancing and talking to people, nothing she hasn't done before, so why was she worrying now? "You should leave, it's getting late." Was all the older woman said as she bent down to kiss the top of her head like a mother would before sending off her child off. A couple of younger swans insisted of going with her, clinging on her gown and her hands before she agreed in defeat. A chorus of laughter and giggles following her the deeper she walked into the forest and the closer she's gotten to the palace.
Hongjoong stood sitting on the throne, a crown on his head while his parents stood at both of his sides. His rather small body seemed to shrink more and more with every second and with each nod he gave to the young women that would come to bow before him. They were all wearing beautiful gowns, feminine features painted by a thin layer of makeup, jewelries decorating their necks, ears and hair, he had to admit that they were all beautiful, but none of them where Odette. His Odette. He waited patiently for her to make her appearance, eyes running back to the spiral staircase in hopes that he'd spot her, and his observant mother did not take long to notice. "You're waiting for someone." She announced, a hand resting on her son's shoulder in a way of assuring him that it will all be fine.
Hongjoong nodded, his lips parting slightly as he pondered on his thoughts, however, before he's even gotten thr chance to speak, a familiar face made his heart beat like it never has, and his breath got stuck in his throat. A wave of heat crossed his cheeks, feeling as a strong blush took over his face. From one of the corners of the grand ballroom, he noticed Yeosang smirking his way, Wooyoung whispering something to him before they both snickered.
"Your highness.." when she arrived in front of him, Hongjoong quickly has gotten up on his feet, refusing to let her bow before him. One of his hands gently taking one of her own as the other traveled to her side in order to bring her body closer to his own with a shy embrace. At the action, a couple of gasps could be heard throughout the room, everyone surprised at the prince's action, yet he did not care, and it could've been the reason why he completely looked past the vile smile that played on the girl's lips. "Odette.. will you dance with me?"
"We've arrived too late!" One of the little swans warned as she peeked trough the closest window, huffing in defeat at the sight. Odette waisted no time in following her closely, face crumbling in defeat as he watched how her dear Hongjoong waltzed around the room with no one else but Odile. His eyes were so fixed on her that it seemed like she was his whole world, hands gripping her close like she'd parish if he let go, and everyone around them saw it. How in love he was, how much care he put in every step they made together, and that made Odette's stomach churn in pain. Her eyes began watering, heart screaming at her to do something yet her body remained frozen in place.
"Odette..?" The little girl asked, her tone wobbling as her own eyes began to water as she watched the princess of the swans. The young woman's skin began morphing, little fluff and white feathers growing from her arms and shoulders at a slow peace, like she was to turn in swan once more. With each second she spent looking at her beloved dance with another woman, looking so smitten by her, the little sapphires on the crown she wore began to crack more and more, and panic took over the three children when their own necklaces followed closely and as Hongjoong's voice rang trough their ears.
"So, Your Highness, would you say that you love me?" Odile questioned as she made eye contact with the prince, who giggled shyly before sighing deeply. He felt caught red-handed and all he could do now was nod his head slightly before speaking softly. "I love you." Yet something didn't feel right, deead filling his heart as he said his words, like a kid that's done something wrong and waited anxiously for his parents to scold him. It was then that he began to fall out of the spell he had been put under, noticing how the woman in front of him did not wear a crown yet a necklace, amber decorating the gem that rested patiently on her neck. The white gown that the swan once wore was not completed jet black, eyes harsh as a voice so cutting he began feeling dizzy.
"You're not Odette." He stated, stopping from dancing and taking a couple of harsh steps back. The prince's hand flew to his sword, threatening to take it out and use it, yet Odile's smile never faltered. "Even if you harmed me, my mission here had ended." She explained, giggling once more before turning herself in the same swan she morphed in when they first met and before anyone could do anything, she flew past him, soaring trough the open window where four little figures stood at.
"Odette..?" He asked, feeling his hear break as he noticed how heartbroken she looked, how her skin began turning in feathers and how tears cascaded over her cheeks like they couldn't be stopped. "Odette!" He yelled louder, rushing to jump over the window, yet failing to do so in time before the woman began running back towards the forest. "Hongjoong!" His father warned, yet the prince was far gone, already chasing after the swan with unshed tears blurring his own vision.
It didn't take long for the two to reach the lake, scratches from little branches decorating their skin as neither had been careful while running, yet that did not matter to them, the heartache burning every bit of ration they had. "I did not know, Odette!" He tried explaining himself, taking a step forward towards the woman, who only took one back, her feet so close to the shore that it made Hongjoong's heart freeze in place. "I thought it was you.."
Yet what was done was done and both of them knew it, the sapphires finally shuttering as Odette took her crown off, breaking it in two. Without even thinking about the outcome, the swan threw it into the lake, a muffled sob leaving her mouth as she herself took a step closer to the edge. "No! Odette please! I love you!" He shouted, yet it was all in vain as he knew that the curse will get to her before his words will.
The second he noticed what she intended, the prince rushed to her side, gripping her waist tightly and pressing a soft kiss to her lips, eyes deeply staring in her own like their hearts spoke to each other, and it all felt more than ethereal as both of their bodies hit the water, sinking slowly as they held each other like not even death could do them apart.
And perhaps it couldn't, as the second the sun began rising, the women that stood next to the lake and mourned the passing of their princess did not turn back to swans, and their gowns turned back to the clothes they once wore when they were running errands around the village. On the other side of the forest, Rothbart felt his powers leave him, a sudden weakness taking over his body as it slowly began turning to ashes. "No!" He yelled like a mantra, yet it was all in vain as ths moment the shy sunlight peeked trough his window, all that remained of him was an amber ring and his daughter, who only stared at the cracked mirror on the wall, ashamed of herself and mad at the world like never before.
And even years after, deep down, on the bottom of the lake, the two lovers stood embraced, untouched by the time, as if they were simply sleeping. So perhaps, the curse that once plagued the young women became a blessing, as not only has she found peace, but love as well.

Soul ties - Part 11 (Bucky Barnes au)
"High hopes, when you let it go, go out and start again"
Tumblr media
It took Bucky exactly eight minutes to meet you in the kitchen after you'd come back from taking your things at Darren's. He didn't say anything right away, placing a hot cup of fresh coffee in front of you.
"Black, no sugar," he told you.
You smiled softly at that small thing he'd managed to remember about you. Damn, your standards were low.
"How did it go?" he asked as he sat before you.
"Not as bad as I imagined," — you sighed – "even though he still found a way to be a dick."
"I'm sorry."
You shrugged as you held on tight to your cup. "It's not your fault, don't  be."
"I kinda feel responsible, though."
You took a sip of your warm drink before instinctively grabbing his hands on the table.
"The only thing you're responsible for is making me see how he already was. I should thank you for that."
"I just..."
Footsteps made you remove your hands and place them back around your cup as you looked down. Bucky cleared his throat, visibly uncomfortable as well.
"I didn't want to interrupt anything, sorry," Steve apologised. "Buck, Tony just confirmed we're going on a small mission tomorrow. You're still up, right?" He looked back and forth at you and his friend. "You can also stick around if you want. It's not gonna be difficult."
Bucky's eyes interrogated you for a second. Did he want to stick around to stay with you? You wish you knew. He tilted his head on the side, thinking.
"Nah, I already said I'd come."
"Cool. It's just gonna be Nat and the two of us. We should be fine."
As Steve laid a comforting hand on your shoulder, you felt his last sentence was more directed at you than it was at Bucky, who would actually be on the mission. He squeezed your shoulder before leaving the two of you alone again. The awkwardness that lingered  in the air was killing you : had you made him uncomfortable by kissing him? Had he changed his mind about you?
"This is weird," you finally said. "I made it weird, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have..."
"Hey, hey, calm down," he whispered. "You didn't make anything weird. I just don't want to you  to think I'm pushing you to anything so I..." — he  shook his head – "I though not saying anything about what happened  between us would make you more comfortable."
"Thank God," you breathed. "I thought you regretted it."
"How could I?" He stared at your eyes, his own checking out your lips for a second. "I'd do it again without any hesitation if you asked."
You felt a tickle in your stomach as he leaned towards you, his elbows resting on the table.
"What if I asked now?" you questioned, feeling your cheeks heating up.
The shadow of a smile appeared on his face as he grew closer to you, teasing you with his slow motion. You put your chin forward to make your intentions clear. Taking the hint, he  brushed his lips against yours, sending shivers down your spine. You allowed your hand to touch his neck to pull  him in and kiss him deeper. You soon felt him smile before he pressed a kiss on the corner of your mouth and sat back properly. You rested your head on your hand and shot him a bright smile before acknowledging your feelings and what you'd told Wanda.
"I'm scared, Buck," you confessed. "I don't want to impose my mess of a sentimental life on you."
"You mean that husband of yours?" Bucky scoffed. "It's not gonna be a problem,  doll."
You chuckled at the nickname before grabbing his hand again. "I'm talking to Tony tonight to see if he knows a decent lawyer. After that...I'll have divorce papers drafted," you explained.
Bucky gently squeezed your fingers. "Are you ready to do it now? You have the right to wait."
"I know," you said, distractingly drawing circles on his hand with your thumb. "I also know that the sooner I do this, the less time he'll be able to torment me, because... I'm convinced he won't let this settle in peace."
"I'll be there. All the way."
You couldn't help but smile as you looked at both your hands. It felt so natural that you couldn't even feel any guilt about your marriage.
"Alright lovebirds, I've waited long enough  for my tea," your sister joked as she walked in.
You let out a delicate laugh before getting up. "I'm gonna go work in the lab a little," you said. "I promised Bruce I would look into our tissue theory."
"Can I watch?" Bucky asked in an eager voice.
"Of course!  I'll even teach you a few science tricks if you're nice enough." You smiled once more. "See you,  Wanda!"
---
"Thanks for doing this with me," you said. "I could've gone alone, but..."
"Hey, it's alright," Sam told you. "That's what friends are for."
"Mrs y/l/n?" a young man asked you. "Mr. Reyes is ready to meet you."
You got up and breathed out before entering the attorney's office. As he invited you to take a seat in front of him, you quickly explained Sam was here to support you.
"Mr. Stark told me you might come with a friend," he told you as he grabbed a pile of paper and his pen. "Do  you know what you want out of this divorce? Money, the house?"
"Oh, hum..." You  fiddled with your fingers and Sam gave you a nod of encouragement. "All I want is to get out of this marriage. He can keep the place, I don't care. We don't even have joined bank accounts."
"Yeah, I noticed that. A smart move from you, lady." He took some notes before asking you for your postal address. : you gave him the compound's one. "You won't need elaborate papers for this, I believe. Regular ones will do it just fine, and I promise  you'll  be out of it in no time, provided your future ex-husband signs them soon enough."
"About that... What should I do if he doesn't?"
"Is it a strong possibility?"
You looked at Sam as you debated the question. You hadn't been married for long, but you believed Darren's ego and pride could possibly make this procedure trickier than it actually was.
"Yeah. He's not really happy with my decision."
"If he doesn't sign, then we'll settle this in court. Don't worry, though, we'll make sure we don't have to. Shall we go over the papers together?"
Once you were out of the office, Sam decided to stop at a bar to buy you a drink. "You deserve it," he said. Sitting there at the counter, a beer in your hand, you were anxious about Darren signing papers that hadn't even been sent yet.
"He'll sign them, y/n. And if he doesn't do it willingly, I trust Steve and myself to convince him."
He bumped your shoulder, making you chuckle.
"I hope you're right. I really don't want this do be dramatic. I know it's unfair to him, but..."
"Wait a second," he interrupted you. "Divorce isn't unfair given the way he's been treating you for years."
"I know that now. Both Wanda and Bucky have made it seem very clear to me. But he still deserves a real soulmate, one he will treat right. And I shouldn't have lied to him in the first place."
Sam took a sip of his beer and you took a minute to check out the beautiful small carvings on the edge of the counter. The whole bar had a dark, comfy vibe that you found yourself to enjoy a lot. The bartender had obviously recognised Sam, but he was chill about it.
"Maybe, but the same reasoning applies to you," your friend replied. "You deserve to be with your soulmate, and so does Bucky."
"You're probably right. Thank  you again for coming along. I would've asked Wanda, but..."
"You didn't want to bother her and Vision, didn't you?"
"Yeah, and Steve was on a mission, so... Plus, you're way more chill than he is," you said, laughing a little. "Don't tell him I said that."
"I won't."
"I'm glad we're friends, you know? You, Steve, and the others...you're family to me now."
Sam patted your shoulder.
"I know. We'll always be."
You nodded slowly, taking another sip before Sam's phone started buzzing.  He picked it up quick.
"Stark? What's up?"
You couldn't hear Tony's voice on the other end of the call, but Sam's furrowed brows had you worried. He looked down for a second.
"We'll be here in no time."
He hung up, probably making this one of the shortest calls in history.
"What's wrong?" you asked. "I know something's wrong. Tell me."
"They're back. We gotta go."
Sam grabbed his coat on his chair and dropped a bill on the counter to pay for the beers. He didn't even bother to wait for his change and you followed him outside.
"Okay but why the rush, Sam?"
"Bucky's hurt, and you're the only doc available right now."
--- And that's part 11! Part 13 will be the last one and it's making me emotional... :)

kiyoko couldn't remember a time withouth your bright smile in her days, scaring the gray clouds away. you would sit outside her house, right by her side, sharing laughs and secrets. kiyoko kept those memories lock inside her mind, as her most precious secret, and she would always do it, no matter how long it passed.
"kiyo look! i made a ring with a flower!" her eyes, hid behind a big pair of glasses, showed amazement. she didn't care that your hands were covered in dirt after playing on the garden for hours while she read, safely on a bench, following your every move. "give me your hand" you demanded, grabbing it by yourself without giving her time to react.
despite your usual energic being, like most eight years old, whenever you were around your friend, she felt like fine china. a sudden feeling of fear ran down her back, accompanied by a warmness in her belly. you took her ring finger, placing your newest work on it with more care than ever in your life, affraid you would hurt her. to you, and everyone actually, kiyoko was like a porcelain doll. her fair skin, her beautiful face, her sweet voice, confirmed your hypothesis. the first time you saw kiyoko in the playground, you had to ask your parent if she was a real girl, because you've never seen someone that pretty.
"o-only married couples share rings, y/n" she said quietly, going over your gift with her free hand. leaving aside her complain, she seemed to be delighted with it.
"then we'll get married, and i'll give you all the rings in the world!"
shimizu had those words inked on her brain for quite a while, even now ten years later, they would come back. she wasn't sure if it was a memory or a dream anymore. her phone vibrated on her night table, showing a text from tanaka saying he was on his way there, with a sigh, she got up from her bed, thinking on making something to eat for her boyfriend. on days like that, she would prefer being alone, but she couldn't say no to him. he was good to her.
the girl walked down the hall which connected the living room with the dorms, looking at the walls, searching for you with her eyes. a smile formed on her lips when she saw the picture, you eternally kissing her cheek, grabbing onto her face, making her smile more brightly than ever in her life. she thanked her mom internally for taking that picture, after all, it was the only one you two had. her fingers reached your image, following your traces as if that way, she could actually feel your skin against her again. kiyoko always regretted not kissing you one more time, not holding you in her arms for a second longer.
"try to sleep, or you'll end up falling asleep in the middle of the race tomorrow" kiyoko smiled at your sleepy voice, she knew you were sleeping when she decided on calling you, despite knowing you wouldn't get mad, she still felt a little guilty for waking you in the middle of night.
"i can't sleep, i'm too nervous" it was your turn to smile, thinking on how cute she must've looked while talking. it was almost a routine, her anxiety appearing before an important competition. "can you talk to me, please?"
her wishes were granted, you started talking about the last show you watched, in a low, soft tone. you were aware kiyoko felt safe with you, safe enough to sleep with you, and how she found comfort on you. you still felt reluctlant to her only being able to sleep at the sound of your voice, but her kitten like snores came sooner than usual. you found yourself laying in bed, eyes closed, listening to her sounds, and a while later, you too fell in morpheous arms.
a knock on the door scared her memories away, leaving her on the verge of tears. she hurried to the bathroom, trying to wash off the hints of sadness in her face before letting ryunosuke in. he kissed her as a greeting, hugging her by the waist. kiyoko wanted to get away, like the act was disrespectful to your memory. she knew she was wrong though, you wouldn't want her sulking for the rest of her life, thinking of what could've been if life wasn't so damn awful.
"brought dinner" smiled her boyfriend, not realizing what was she going through. it itsn't his fault, kiyoko thought, he doesn't even know she existed.
they set the table for two, talked a little while eating and watched a movie. tanaka wasn't good at taking hints, but even him sensed there was something wrong. he excused himself at midnight, saying he needed something from his house for work tomorrow, maybe she needed some time alone. kiyoko was grateful, because she kept thinking she was cheating on you. so stupid, i can't cheat on someone who isn't here.
kiyoko laid in bed once again, hugging a pillow. it always happened around this time of the year, she should be used to it by now, according to her old therapist. except that she wasn't, not at all. you were always on her mind, but these days she just couldn't escape. it killed her to think about all the broken promises, the things left unsaid. you had plans together, so many plans. in middle school, she longed the day you would travel with each other, conquering the world by your side. she wanted to go back home and find you there, kiss you every night and every morning, have children with you and grow old together as you had done until that day, to know it would never be possible was enough to make her feel miserable.
she kept a box under her bed, almost empty, with the last few things she had of you. a shirt you wore to sleep, a rushed note saying how much you loved her and an old stuffed bear kiyoko won for you at a carnival. that was all she could find in her house of you after the incident, all she was allowed to keep. the first few months she couldn't even bring herself to look at your belongings, how was it possible that your whole existence was reduced to this? you were so much things to kiyoko, nowhere near what those stuff represented. you were love, you were happiness, you were freedom, you were all kiyoko wanted in life and you were ripped away from her.
at two a.m, she found herself once again awake, but she was well aware of the fact that you weren't there to save her anymore. what was she supposed to do when she needed you, more than ever? in a mess of tears, she went outside, headed for her car. the air was cold, hostile, like it was warning her to stay home. the mostly empty streets were perfect for her desperate speed, barely stopping at red lights. she made a road of twenty minutes in ten, a road she hadn't done in quite a while. nonetheless, she knew what she was looking for was still there. kiyoko ran out her car when she got there, crossed the gate, gaining a suspicious look from the guard. she walked towards you, knowing the way a little too well for someone who didn't visit in years.
your name read in the grave, and the remaining force she had in her legs was suddenly gone. tears drowned her sight, holding tightly to the ground beneath hear. sometimes, kiyoko questioned herself if you really existed, she lost all contact with your family after, not being able to see anyone who looked like you, but in that moment, all her supressed memories came back. your first kiss, a peck on the lips, so fast that it might've not even happened, only it did, and it was followed by deeper, better kisses, and eternal love declarations. the first time she held your hand, how flustered you got over her taking the initiative. falling asleep in your arms, you caressing her hair. you kissing her strech marks, promsing you loved her just as she was. the image of your happy self, bursting into cheerings everytime she won a race, filled with pride. all your picnics together, beach days, roadtrips, night snick outs.
everything was real, kiyoko was sure of it. your love for her was real, her love for you couldn't be stopped, not even by death. it hurt so bad, all she wanted to do was see you one more time, feel your warm body against hers. she needed you with her, and it was tearing her apart.

The Battle Between Love and Fire-
Ivar the Boneless × Reader
Chapter Eight is here...
Chapter Nine: A New Beginning
Chapter Ten Coming Soon...
Word Count 1.8k
Warnings: angst, mentions of intents to cause harm, fluff at the end
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When Ivar came into your chambers, he found you distraught and crying. He walked to you as fast as he could without falling.
Ivar "Oh princess, what is it?!"
You were practically hyperventilating, "My dragon's-"
Ivar "What about them? Ryuu is fine, sweetheart."
"No, Neith and Eldr! They are still home with my father! He will change them to be dangerous creatures."
Ivar "Are you certain?"
"Yes. My father's dragon's were very different! He used them to kill and destroy kingdoms, I don't want mine to be the same."
Ivar "What do I need to do?"
"I...I just need my dragon's, Ivar."
Ivar "So I will prepare for our travel's to Wessex. You will get your dragon's, Y/n. I will make absolutely certain of it."
__________________________________
A day goes by before you make it back to Wessex. As soon as you see your kingdom, your heart starts to pound in your chest. You never wanted to come back but you have to get your babies back. All of the flashbacks came back into your memory, they are so vivid that it feels like they happened yesterday. Your hands clench into a fist and Ivar notices your instant panic, and grabs your hand.
Ivar "Everything will be fine, my sweet. Nothing will happen to you or your dragon's."
"I know, it is just hard to be back here is all. I just want to get them and go back to Kattegat."
Ivar "You will soon, I promise. When we get back, your life will be much different okay?"
"I just need you and my dragon's...then I'll be happy."
Ivar "Well aren't I a lucky man?!"
You chuckle and lean into his side. Hvitserk is riding horseback right behind yours and Ivar's carriage. In front and on the side are warriors and shield maiden's. Having the support gave you some sort of ease but you are still absolutely petrified that something will happen today. You just have to put your trust in the gods that everything will go smoothly.
Once you reach the gates, your people notice that it is you and open them willingly.
"Welcome home, princess." A man said.
"Thank you." You were thinking about saying that it was good to be bad but that is far from the truth. So you simply thanked him and looked ahead of you. Ivar never let go of your hand the whole way towards the castle. You searched endlessly for any sight of your precious dragon's but no sign of them, worrying you insanely. Hvitserk stops his horse by your carriage and dismounts.
Hvitserk "Do you see them?"
"No..or him."
Ivar "Isn't he the king? Why isn't he out here by now?"
"That is what I am wondering. I don't like this."
Hvitserk "Hey, you're fine and so are we okay? We will find your dragon's and go home."
Ivar "Come on, let's go find them." You both get out of the carriage and your people stare at you and Ivar.
"Princess, who is this man?" A friend of yours asked.
"My soon to be husband. Now...where are they?"
"They?"
"Neith and Eldr, where are they?!"
"I haven't seen them since you left earlier this week, Y/n. I thought you took them with you." Your heart sank. Where is your dragon's?
"Oh my gods…" You run into the castle, leaving behind your safety: Ivar and his guard's.
The first sight you see is none other than your father himself. You stop in your tracks and your knees get weak.
Father "Well well well! If it isn't my lovely daughter. I thought you weren't ever coming back. This is such a surprise!"
"Where are they, father?"
Father "They? Oh you mean your dragon's."
"Yes, where are they? They are mine-" The doors open and Ivar and his brother come in, along with his many guard's.
Father "Oh..another surprise in my doorway!"
Ivar stops by your side, "Where are her dragon's?"
Father "Now that isn't very polite! I don't even know your name."
Ivar "My name is Ivar. Ivar the Boneless."
Father "Oh...I know you very well-"
Ivar "You know nothing of me. Now I will ask you again, where are her dragon's?"
Father "They are in her chamber's. But I must warn you-"
"What did you do to them?"
Father "They haven't eaten anything in six days, so be careful little one. They might just eat you!" He laughs evily. You felt sick to your stomach and your eyes start to water. You put trust in your father that he would take good care of them while you were away. Note to self, never do that again.
Hvitserk looks at Ivar and he scowls, Ivar returns the same glare. You run off to your chambers and Hvitserk and Ivar are close behind. Once you open your doors, Neith and Eldr are beyond chains up: their feet, their wings and neck are chained to your bed posts. You almost fall to your knees but catch yourself. They recognize you and screech out in joy. You have never heard them shout so loudly.
"Hello, my babies! Oh my gods, you poor babies. Let me find you a key, Hvitserk you look over there, I'll look on this side." He agrees and finds a key in no time at all. When Ivar comes into the room, he is dumbfounded.
Ivar "Princess they are-"
"I know!" They are practically skin and bone. They don't look like yours but they surely are. You just have to feed them instantly.
Ivar "Why would he do this to them?"
"Because they are not his and he knows it very well. He destroys everything that is not his own."
Ivar "What do they eat?"
"They will eat anything at this point: meat, small animals, fruit etc."
Ivar "Go find some, and hurry back." He ordered a few of his men to bring back food for your dragon's. Ryuu is weeping for his brother and sister. As soon as they are unchained, they rush to you. You start to cry at the feeling of how badly they needed you, how badly they missed you. Hvitserk has to look away because he can not stand the sight of you crying. Ever since you came to Kattegat, he has grown a liking to you more than anyone. You mean a great deal to him, as well as Ivar. You hold all three of your dragon's in your arms as they nibble on your clothes, cheeks and shoulder's. The love-bites do not hurt, they are their way of showing love and affection. Ivar sits down beside you on the bed and rubs small circles on the small of your back.
Ivar "They will get fed, princess. And in no time, we will be on our way back home."
"I cannot believe that he did this to them. If I didn't come today, they could've died Ivar."
Ivar "But they didn't, they are safe and sound in your arms. Everything will be okay." You sniff away your tears and wait for his men to come back with food. Neith and Eldr barely chewed, they just swallowed the food whole. You watched and witnessed how deprived your babies were.
"Never again."
Hvitserk "What?"
"Never again will I trust my father."
Hvitserk "To that I must agree with."
"Eat up, then it's time to go to your new home."
__________________________________
When your dragon's are fed enough to be able to fly, you and Ivar decide that it is time to head home. Once you walk out and into your gallery, your father stops you. He grabs you by your arm so that you cannot walk away from him. Ivar stops as well as Hvitserk.
Ivar "Let her go."
Father "Or what, you will kill me, cripple?"
Ivar "Don't tempt me. You give me every reason to do so, considering everything you have put her through."
Father "You know nothing."
Hvitserk "On the contrary, we know everything. So let her go." He places his hand on top of his sword, ready to kill him if he tries anything.
Father "So tell me, which one are you planning on marrying, little one?"
"That is none of your concern."
Father "Oh it is though. If one of these men is bound to be my son-in-law, I would like to know."
Ivar "I am. So I will tell you again, let go of her arm."
Father "You are marrying this cripple?! Are you serious, Y/n? You are a disgrace to this family and this kingdom."
Ivar "You are one insult away from starting a war."
Father "You don't scare me, Ivar the Boneless."
"You should stop talking, father. You have no idea what he is capable of."
Father "You are right there, Y/n. But I know what I am capable of, and he should not be threatening his king."
Hvitserk "You must have forgotten that Ivar too, is a king."
Father "Ah yes, the king of Scandinavia. How fascinating."
Ivar "You shouldn't be threatening your daughter...you should be ashamed of yourself. Bashing a woman such as herself. Who has done nothing but retrieve her dragon's."
Father "I gifted them to her, so technically they are my dragon's." You turn around and face him yourself.
"You know damn well they are not your dragon's. They are mine and always will be. You do not claim them, I do. Do you understand me?"
Father "Watch your tone-"
"No I will not! You have no right to tell me that they are yours. Who feeds them, who trained them, who cares for them? Me! You let them starve for six days! Six! How dare you?!"
Father "If you don't get out of my face, I will have you hung for blasphemy against the king."
Ivar "That is not going to happen." He takes out his dagger, Hvitserk his sword and his men get ready.
"Do it, I dare you father. See what will happen. I know what will happen."
Father "Oh yeah, and what is that my dear?"
"You'll finally die, and all of my worries will be gone. I will die in the process but at least the good people of Wessex will not have to live another day under your rule. So do it." He lets go of your arm and Ivar immediately grabs you and pulls you into his chest. Hvitserk in turn, grabs your from Ivar and puts you behind him.
Father "Fine, go. But do not expect a home here ever again Y/n. You are no longer welcome here at Wessex. No leave before I change my mind." You leave with your dragon's and your boys and walk out of the castle. When you reach the gates, your friend since childhood stops you.
"What? Where are you going?" She asked.
"Home. You won't see me again."
"Are you being serious?"
"You are more than welcome to come visit me in Kattegat. But yes, I will not be returning."
"...I don't know what to say."
"I love you."
"I-I love you too." After that, you left. Never looking back. Your dragon's are flying free above you and you have Ivar by your side. You look up and moan in relief.
Ivar "Look ahead of you, my love."
"Why?"
Ivar "Because ahead of you is your new life."

Why don't you like Cameron? Just want some salt,I'll even spill mine. She was oftentimes too emotional, and whined a lot, besides being too preachy and hypocritical. That could've been ingredients for a great character, IMO,but the writers didn't handle her character well. What makes even more jarring was how Chase and Foreman had great writing, and their flaws fucked them over. And her infatuation with House... Wtf was that, should've lasted for 1 season at the very most, but alas.
i actually loved cameron in the beginning! i thought she was sweet, kind, and empathetic -- all the things you’d want your doctor to be. she even reminded me of my best friend, who’s a doctor with a personality similar to cameron’s. i liked that there was a “heart” element to the team, someone to keep the balance between the puzzle aspect, the careerist aspect, and the patient aspect of medicine.
what began annoying me was her hypocrisy. i can understand self-righteousness and a strong moral compass. i cannot stand hypocrisy. cameron tended to act like her beliefs and morals were more important than the others’. i also didn’t like how judgy she acted towards patients, and how she could almost never separate her emotions from her work. i know it sounds harsh, but if you’re in medicine, you have to compartmentalize. feeling your patient’s pain is one thing, but that should end the moment your patient is out the door. you cannot take on all of your patient’s suffering and expect that it won’t affect you. cameron couldn’t do this, and she’d end up judging the patient because of it, or projecting on them.
i found her fascination with broken men intriguing, honestly. it says something to the kind of person she is that she’d marry a man with a terminal diagnosis despite knowing he’d be dead very soon. that in itself is not a bad thing, but when you look at the bigger picture, it’s definitely a pattern with cameron. she thinks she can fix people with kindness and love. that’s admirable on paper; doesn’t always work out that way in real life. she was infatuated with house because she felt attracted to his pain. she thought if only he would let her love him, she could fix him and take away his pain. she never actually tried to... understand the pain. when he rejected her, she had a whole phase of giving up on love, and she began her friends with benefits thing with chase. or to be accurate, coworkers with benefits.
because they weren’t friends. cameron had shown interest in chase’s past only because of her fascination with “broken” people. he loved her, though. he genuinely, from the bottom of his heart, loved her. it was childish the way he went about it, but it was sincere. and she eventually said yes, and they began dating, but here’s the thing -- throughout their relationship, it never felt like she loved him. he was infatuated, always had heart eyes on around her -- and she seemed like she was going through the motions. she seemed like she’d settled for him because he was around, and “safe” to love, and he loved her. she still kept her walls up. she still made him fight just to be let in. she went into that relationship already anticipating that it would end, which is why she kept her first husband’s sperm and was so reluctant to let go of it. like she always figured chase was temporary.
i won’t lie, i did like her again when she finally began letting chase in and when she realized that she loved him enough to destroy her first husband’s sperm. but their marriage lasted barely a couple months, man. yeah, what he did was major, but she basically accused him of turning into house, which is just... not accurate. i doubt house would’ve ever given enough of a shit about dibala to do what chase did. she was the one who kept saying dibala didn’t deserve to live, and then when he actually died, she made like chase was now some evil heartless murderer. the difference is that she never had the conviction to act on her beliefs, she just liked preaching them to anyone with working ears. chase, on the other hand, did what he believed was right, knowing the consequences would weigh heavy on him. he knew he would suffer, he knew he’d never be the same again, but he did it anyway, because he believed it was the right thing to do.
cameron has always lacked that. foreman has always had the guts to stand up to house. chase didn’t at first, but he developed a backbone later. chase had the conviction to follow through on his beliefs even when the consequences could be life-ruining. cameron has never, not once, done that. it’s hypocrisy to constantly rail about injustice and morals and righteousness and then never actually do something about it. and then when chase was finally as fucked up as the men cameron likes to pursue, she left him, because it finally got too real. it’s one thing talking about it; it’s entirely another to do it. and she couldn’t handle the reality of being in a long-term relationship with someone who actually needed help. she always had this romanticized view of messy, flawed people, and then when she realized her husband was one of them in a way much realer than “oh he had a shit childhood”, she turned tail and ran.
chase asked her if she’d ever loved him, and she said, “i don’t know!” which she later amended to “i did, i did love you, i don’t know why i said that.” the thing is, though, her first emotional reaction was much more believable. and chase was right, it wasn’t just the dibala thing that had her running. she was always going to compare him to the six months of marriage she had with her first husband, and he was never going to measure up to that ideal because all of it was the honeymoon period. with her first husband, she never ever got into the real part of marriage, the one that happens when the passion fades and you have to actually live with each other. chase never stood a chance. the entire relationship felt like she was only in it because she didn’t think she was ever going to find anything better. and chase loved her, he loved her so much he was willing to leave PPTH after dibala, where he’d always been happy, just to please her. it says a lot that she would ask that of him just so he’d somehow remain aligned with her morals, and not his, knowing that he’d do anything she asked just to keep her forgiveness and love.
cameron was an interesting character mostly because of how static her personality was. she never really changed, not like how chase and foreman did. both of them developed, grew into themselves, evolved as they learned new things. cameron didn’t. season 6 cameron was pretty much the same as season 1 cameron, minus the obsession with house. and it’s not even that her idealism was annoying -- masters was idealistic. adams was idealistic. but these two weren’t hypocritical about it. masters left house’s department the moment she realized she couldn’t stay without compromising her morals. and adams was always open to change, to having her beliefs challenged, and she evolved accordingly. cameron remained exactly the same, while everyone around her changed, and that’s what led me to dislike her.

He'd always had the worst timing when it came to her.
In his defense, so had Sonny. Though, for them being together, those two had had good timing.
So timing was still just being a bitch. This time, though, it wasn't him in the shocked position. For once, he wasn't the one who was blindsided with something.
Well, not entirely anyways. He'd figured that Sam would run to Sonny, manipulating the situation, but he didn't think she'd get him here that fast. It was what, five minutes? He must've flown here or something, but that would've taken longer just to get through the flight frills. The only way for him to get there that quickly would be that he was nearby anyways, so there was a chance he heard a part of their fight. Realistically, Sam will be there as well, right behind the fuming mob boss.
Him and Carly had ended that kiss the second Sonny had announced his presence by loudly asking, "What the fuck?"
"I promise it's not what it looks like," Carly rushes out quickly, a blush overtaking her cheeks. Damn, she really isn't much of a liar anymore. Kinda sucks she lost that trait, though she's still one of the best liars he's ever met.
"What it looks like is that you were kissing someone else while we're married," Sonny says, voice scarily quiet. "How is that not what's happening here?"
"Alright, maybe it's a little bit what it looks like," she admits. "Actually, it's exactly what it looks like but I don't want you to be mad at him because it's a thing we both did and technically I kissed him first so it doesn't count as him doing anything. Well, maybe a little because he kissed me back, but it doesn't count as anything serious."
"Smooth," Jason mutters before looking at his boss who looks like he'll kill him right then and there without hesitation.
"I'm trying to save your ass here," she whispers back.
"And I'm trying to save your marriage!"
"You really think that's what's happening here? How- how is kissing her somehow saving my marriage, Jason? Please tell me, I'd be delighted to know," Sonny chuckles sarcastically. "Cause from where I'm standing, it seems like, if anything, you'd be the reason to end my marriage."
"He is not to blame," Carly exclaims again.
"I'm sorry, is this a thing about you two I just don't get?" Sonny asks mockingly, noting that she's mad. That's what he wants, her mad, as mad and hurt as he is.
"No," Jason says calmly. "It's not. That- this- that's the first time that happened."
"You two could've had a happily ever after decades ago," Sonny exclaims, "but you weren't. What, is this some nostalgia thing, huh? Now that he's single you suddenly can't keep your hands off of him?"
"That's enough, Sonny! In case you forget, you're the reason we didn't," Jason warns, voice not giving away emotion.
"She slept with me after she saw you and Eli-"
"After you told her I was dating Elizabeth? She was distraught that night, worried sick she'd lose me! You knew damn well that we weren't doing anything and that I didn't feel that way for Elizabeth but you didn't tell her that, no, you tell her I'm in love with someone who was a grieving friend! You knew what I felt for Carly and you still lied to her about what had happened, you. Not me, not her, you," Jason fires back angrily.
"That's got nothing to do with this! Last I checked, I wasn't the one who'd kissed a married woman," Sonny shouts.
"You're right, you tore my family away from me but you, somehow, are the victim," the morally grey assassin says, volume steady. "I forgave you for that a long time ago, but it still hurts to think about."
"And you kissed my wife!"
"I kissed him first!"
"He kissed back, and from where I was standing, he initiated the kiss!"
"The second one!" Carly exclaims.
There's a silent tension in the air between the two and Sonny when she admits that. "Second kiss? So you mean to tell me that he kissed you after you'd already kissed once?"
"That would be the meaning of second kiss, yes," Carly smirks slightly. "I kissed him first and he didn't register it until I'd pulled away so when he realized what was going on he kissed me back. We've kissed twice. Happy?"
"No, not really! I just found out my best friend and my wife have some unresolved feelings for each other!" Sonny snaps. "Things I thought had been gone for years are back and I don't know what to do about it because you're supposedly friends with me, supposedly my business partner! You helped me make this business from the start! I'm hurt that you did this, Carly, but especially that he kissed you back."
"I'm your friend," Jason attempts to defuse the situation, "but that doesn't mean I always have to do things you like."
"Things I like?" Sonny snarls. "I'd like it if you didn't have feelings for her!"
"So would I," Sam smiles, emerging from the hall, "I had my suspicions but you still shouldn't have been with me when you had feelings for her."
"I didn't know I did until maybe two days ago! I thought I was over that but clearly I'm not!" Jason glares.
"So did I. I mean, I figured I was taking this to the grave. Sonny's a good guy and I don't not love him," Carly says, confusing the hell out of everyone. "But it's friendly love more than it is romantic by now."
"So you stayed with me when you were in love with him?" Sonny asks, looking her dead in the eyes.
"Yes," the blonde quietly admits after a moment of uncomfortable silence. "Him and Sam were together and they'd worked so hard for that. They were happy, as far as I knew."
"You managed to hide what you feel for that long? That in and of itself is a miracle," Jason teases her slightly, but being pretty serious still. "But in all seriousness, that must've sucked for you. I know how little you enjoy hiding your feelings."
"Well, what I feel affects a lot of people."
"But I care what you feel, you know that," he smiles at her. "Don't hide it because of how it'll affect me."
"Well right now I feel like running for the hills," she smiles.
"I feel like knowing why you two are acting like this," Sonny joins in. "You should be feeling like shit right now and full of guilt over these kisses and feelings."
"Surprisingly, I don't. Honestly, I feel... Relieved. It's refreshing to have everything out in the open. We both know how we feel about each other and it's love. I don't think guilt would go along with this," Jason informs him calmly.
Sonny charges at him and shoves the surprised assassin against the wall. "Don't you ever say that again! You don't love my wife and she doesn't love you!"
"I do, Sonny! Stop this! You're an adult for god's sakes, so just discuss this rationally," Carly shouts.
A very emotionally conflicted Jason shoves Sonny off of him and walks back to where he was before, next to Carly. "I had no clue he would do this, did you?" She asks him as he shakes his head. "I knew he'd be pissed, but this is a new level of anger. I've never seen it from him."
Nodding, Jason agrees with her. "Yeah, I don't know what to do."
"I've got a suggestion," Sam interjects. "You don't fall in love with her!"
"That's not something you can help, genius," Carly snaps, "and even if it was, you aren't doing much to help calm him down so leave, buy something, or be helpful."
"I was trying to be!"
"By suggesting something you know to be impossible?" Jason quips.
"I'm coping too!" Sam weakly defends herself. "I love you still even though you don't love me anymore. Stop acting like you two are the victims!"
"We're not trying to but you need to stop acting like everything stops because you're mad," Carly explains as calmly as she can.
"Stop it! Jason, get the hell away from her," Sonny warns, "right now. You two aren't in love! You're, what's the word, projecting! Projecting your feelings for other people onto each other. Jason's for Sam and Carly's for me."
"Don't touch her," Jason warns, arm around Carly. "I know what I feel better than you. What reason does Carly have to project feelings?"
"I don't know! But you aren't her husband! So stay away from my wife," Sonny argues and a slightly scared Carly is grateful for the protection of her best friend. Especially at that moment, it comes in handy always.
"I'm not projecting or faking feelings! Sonny, go home!"
"Where Joss and Avery and Donna are? That's a great idea, they can see me like this!"
"That's never bothered you before."
"You've never cheated on me before."
"Get. Out."
"No," Sonny says, grasping for his wife's hand. "Let's go."
"She said leave, Sonny. Go." Jason advises.
"I'm not listening to you, you worthless traitor!"
"Don't call him either of those things! He's stuck by you and me through everything, Sonny, everything, and is the most loyal man I could ever know! Stop being pissed and throwing a fit and grow the hell up!" Carly snaps at her husband, grasping Jason's free hand in hers.
"C'mon, Sonny, let's go," Sam agrees, having seen enough.
To be continued

The way he looks at you
https://archiveofourown.org/works/14863772
It was nearing midnight and he was at a shitty 24h supermarket in the middle of NY waiting in line to buy some shitty beer to take back to the apartment. And if the kid that was before him could decide soon what kind of candy bar he would take his girlfriend, well, that would've been great.
The cashier looked almost as bored and done as he himself felt and Chandler could only begin to imagine what must have been like to work in that place at those hours. After what felt like hours he got to pay for the beer and an impulsively chosen chocolate bar, and went outside into the cold mid February air.
The store was more block aways from the apartment than Chandler would have liked, but hey, when your roommate is apparently so good at sex that he is making the girl of the week cry out his name over and over while you are trying to sleep and can hear everything because of the paper thin walls, well, there’s only so many things you can do.
So there he was, walking back home, hoping they were finally over with their porn sounding sex so he could just go to sleep and pretend the next morning that he was not hopelessly gay and disgustingly in love with said roommate.
The streets were obviously empty, freshly fallen snow laying over everything and he tried to avoid slipping and falling.
It took about ten minutes before he was climbing the stairs and opening the door to a, oh thank god, silent apartment. He was just setting the beers into the almost empty fridge, thanks Joe, when said guy walked out of the bathroom. Shirtless. With sex rumpled hair. Yawning like a newborn kitten. And Chandler was so gone and so fucked up.
“Hey man! I thought you were asleep!” The good mood was evident in Joey’s voice despite the sleepiness.
“Oh yeah, like I could’ve gotten any sleep while I kept hearing everything through this damn walls”
Joey’s eyes went wide and second latter where filled with guilt.
“Oh man, I’m so sorry, didn't mean to wake you up!” He paused for a second before his eyes were filled with pride “But I have to say that to make a woman scream like that you have to be a natural my friend”
And just like that Chandler was done with the situation.
“Yeah, okay Joe, congrats, I’m just gonna go to bed now”
And it seemed like Joey was about to say something, something flickering on his eyes that Chandler couldn't quite put his finger on, but let it go, a small smile grazing his lips.
“Yeah, okay, good night man”
So he just stepped into his bedroom, pulled off the hoodie he had thrown over his pajamas before going out and fell face first groaning into the unmade bed.
He could've woken up to the usual singing man that lived across the window in the other building, but instead it was the sweet laughter of a girl in the other room that ripped Chandler out of his dreamland.
He grumpily pulled the sheets away, the chilly air making him shiver slightly before he padded to the door, opening it slowly, in hopes that the couple outside wouldn't notice him.
Of course that plan quickly failed when Joey spotted him and his face broke into a huge smile. Chandler felt his heart miss a beat and tried to smile back, knowing fully well he hadn't achieved it. He knew, though, that as it was a Saturday, Joey had no auditions, which meant today he wasn't making pancakes and sending the girl on her way. And nothing could cheer him up more than that, cause that way he didn't have to deal with jealousy and pity for the woman.
Once he was out of the bathroom, he quickly made his way to the door, not bothering with saying hi. Joey though, was not amused by this and grabbed his arm before he could even open said door.
“Hey Chandler, good morning, nice to see you, slept well?” Sarcasm dripping from his voice. He dropped quickly enough though, something like hope stirring in his eyes “You’re not staying? I wanted you to meet Laura, she’s new to town and I was hoping we could all go to have coffee with her so I could introduce her to everyone”
And wait, what?! What on earth was going on? Joey did not introduced girls to the group and he most certainly never looked this eager for everyone to meet someone.
It must have shown in his face, since Joey was immediately pulling him along to his bedroom so they could talk.
Chandler didn't even had to say anything, his expression communicating everything he needed.
“Look Chandler, I know it’s weird since I never do this, but I really really like her. She’s funny, she’s smart but not too much and she has a great body” and of course that came with a goofy smile and some obscene hand gestures. As he got no reaction from his friend, that was still gaping at him by the way, he sighed “Dude, come on, it would mean so mucho to me if you could just approved this, you know your opinion means a lot to me”
And maybe it was that or the doe eyes that got Chandler out of his trance. He wished his features to stay neutral, knowing well enough that he was usually way too expressive.
“Yeah, okay, I’m sorry, I was just really shocked. Cause it’s shocking Joe, I never expected this from you… But sure, you have my blessing, I would never get in the way of you happiness man” And just as he began panicking that he had said too much, that Joey was so gonna be able to figure it out, since he was not nearly as stupid as people thought, his friend gave him a beaming smile and jumped forward to hug him.
So Chandler just melted into the arms of his best friend, forced down the jealousy bubbling in his throat and wished his feeling aways, not for the first time.
Afterwards, he excused himself saying he was starving and only Monica’s food would be able to tame the hunger inside of him and escaped the apartment before he did something stupid. And he felt the need to hide in some dark, far far away corner of the world and cry his heart out cause he just knew he would never get a chance with the man at the other side of the door, well, no one needed to know.
And as he was just so bad at hiding his emotions that as soon as he stepped into Monica’s and the two girls living there took one look at him, they were immediately fussing over him.
“Oh my god, Chandler, you look as if someone had killed a puppy in front of you” And that was just great, cause now he was picturing that and it did nothing to help his mood.
“Come on honey, we have some nice breakfast that will cheer you up, right Mon?”
Said girl was in a blink of an eye rushing to prepare the tastiest and most mouth watering breakfast that could exist in the gang’s opinion, but the blue eyed man was so under the weather that he just slumped down into a chair and willed he could just sunk into hell.
And yeah, he was being dramatic, but it was just like him to blow things out of proportion and sulk about it.
He was soon playing with delicious food, not really being sure if he could actually stomach it.
And the more he played, the more restless Monica and Rachel seemed.
“Chandler? Honey? Can you just please tell us what happened? We’re dying here” And he could clearly recognize the desperation in Monica’s voice. But he was just unable to voice out his feeling, his most well kept secret. Or at least that was what he wanted to think.
He slumped into himself even more.
“Is it about your feeling for Joey?” And the question was just so innocent, Rachel not even realizing the weight of her words.
But Chandler just froze.
He could barely catch Monica and Rachel arguing in harsh whispers, but he was too caught up in his panic to really hear was they were saying.
“Chandler? Chandler! Please, I’m sorry, I didn’t want to throw it on you like that, I’m just worried! Please say something” And now Rachel’s voice was full of despair too and he just felt horrible.
He willed his voice to work, clearing his throat about a hundred times before being able to actually form words that came out raspy and full of raw emotions anyways.
“You… You know? About my… preferences?” And he cringed internally at how formal that sounded but he couldn't found it in him to say the word just then.
The silence was oppressing even when it lasted just a few seconds for them to get over their surprise. Cause they thought Chandler would freak out about they knowing about his feeling for his best friend, not about the fact that they knew from day one about his sexual orientation.
“Oh my god honey, you were worried about that?” Rachel was the first one to find her voice.
“Chandler, we have known you for years, and sure, Ross and Joey obviously have no idea, but we’re girls, we know about this things, call it sixth sense or whatever” Monica smiled in that encouraging way of hers, while Rachel’s smile was sweet and supporting and suddenly Chandler didn't feel as alone and hopeless as he had mere second ago.
“Well in that case… I’m not even gonna ask how do you guys know about Joey, honestly. But yeah, it’s about him…” He sighted while fidgeting with the table cloth “He… he met this girl that is new to town and they hit it off and he’s apparently halfway in love with her and wants us all to meet her… I mean, he never does that! For all I know they will get married tomorrow as Emily and Ross did and I will be forced to be the best man cause I’m his best friend and can’t say no to those freaking puppy eyes of his and I will end up alone and with a broken gay heart…”
He didn’t even care that for the first time in his life he had openly recognized he was gay out loud. He was now picturing all of those things happening and the simple thought made him want to throw himself from the balcony.
He wasn't aware of the looks Monica and Rachel were sharing, having a whole conversation without saying words. The brunette was the first one to speak.
“Look, Chandler, I know it seems bad. But I assure you that Joey will not marry this girl, she won’t probably last more than a few weeks. None of us actually think Joey will get married with any girl at all. You know how he is. I know it might seem like a lot to endure, but you’ve made it this long, so have some faith in yourself…” She seemed doubtful about her next words, but one look to Rachel’s stern expression told her she should just tell their friend “And I know you might hate us for saying this and getting this idea into your head… but we really think you should tell Joey about how you feel”
Chandler’s head immediately went up, wide blue eyes staring at the two girls, and both of them were able to feel the scarred panicked feeling the man was suddenly surrounded by.
Rachel chose that moment to intervene before their friend went into full panicked mode, possibly close enough to a panic attack.
“Ok honey, listen to me. If you think for a second Joey will hate you, and feel repulsed and move out just because you are in love with him, you are so so wrong and he would probably feel insulted you think so lowly of him. He loves you Chan, doesn't matter how, but he would never let you hurt because of him, he’s way too good friend for that, and you are his best friend. How can you think he will react like that?” As she saw the panicked expression change into a doubtful one, she smiled softly, reaching for his hand and giving it a gentle squeeze “We just want you to consider it honey, it would make you feel so much better, independently from how it ends. We just want whats best for you”
And he believed her, but all Chandler could do was bury his head between his hands, willing his heart to believe what his friends had just said as well.
It was almost the sixth month after that dreadful morning and everything Chandler had predicted was becoming true.
Joey was dating Laura, that was as amazing as Joey had made it sound, which only helped Chandler sulk more and be even more unhappier. He still hadn’t said anything to Joey. Ross suspected there was something going on between his two male friends but was too oblivious to tell. Besides that, everyone acted as if nothing had changed.
Laura adapted real quick into their group, and even though the three girls were on Chandler’s side (Phoebe had expressed her support the same day the girls helped him by a “I knew it!” and a “I love you no matter what” followed by a hug) they all loved the red headed addition. Even Chandler himself, since the girl had amazing comebacks that dripped sarcasm 24/7 and her sense of humor mixed with his all too well.
So it all sucked, cause he couldn't even hate the woman. But he kept on sulking and suffering between the four walls of his bedroom while on the outside he was, or tried to be, the same Chandler everyone knew. Everything was fine.
Except suddenly it wasn't cause Joey intercepted him one morning before he could escape the apartment and do something useless to stay as far away as possible of said man, which had been his strategy since the fourth month.
“Chandler! Wait! I really need to talk to you about something” Oh man, he had been just so so close. And he knew what he had coming, he could see it in Joey’s posture “Look man… since this whole Laura thing started you have been really distant… And I know you like her, so I just can’t understand this? Is it me?” And there they were again, the huge doe/puppy like eyes that Chandler and basically anyone who knew the guy couldn't say no to.
“What? No! Joey, come on, you are my best friend! Why on earth would I be avoiding you?” Chandler knew there it was, the tone, as Joey used to call it. When he didn't actually believe something, or was lying, his voice would get high pitched. So when he saw his best friend’s eyebrow twitch, he knew his lie was not believable.
“Dude, please, just tell me!”
And, honestly, Chandler’s heart broke a little when he noticed how truly hurt Joey was. He could see it in those chocolate colored eyes that he usually fantasied about.
“Just… Look Joe, I’m sorry, okay? I know I’ve been distant, but I just… I can’t… I’m not able to tell you just why yet, sorry man” He awkwardly fidgeted with his hands, rubbing them together in that nervous way of his, avoiding at all costs Joey’s eyes.
He realized the exact moment the man gave up, since he seemed to slump into himself, a heavy sight escaping his mouth.
“Okay, yeah, it’s… it’s fine. I get it. Just… if there’s something wrong with me… with us, you would tell me, right?”
Blue eyes immediately met brown, wide with surprise.
“What, of course! I… this is not about you Joe, I swear. We’re okay”
A wide smile spread across his best friend’s features, his eyes crinkling in the corners and filled with happiness. He went for a quick hug before letting go but keeping both of his hands in Chandler’s shoulders.
“Oh god, that’s just, thanks man, I was just so worried! You are my best friend, you know? I can’t loose you, what would I do?!”
“Honestly Joe? Neither of us has a clue”
He received a light punch in his left arm by answer.
Turns out, the conversation he had with Joey was just a bad bad bad idea.
Cause, suddenly, as a bonding moment, the guy just decided to drag Chandler along to buy Laura’s sixth month anniversary present. And since they were that grossly sweet kind of couple, it had to be just ‘perfect’.
So there he was, being dragged along trough one big commercial avenue by the love of his life that was looking for a present to give the woman he was dating. The perfect situation. He was feeling just peachy.
What he had apparently missed, was that ‘perfect’ for Joey meant ‘Chandler approved’, which also meant his opinion was heavily considered in the moment of buying any kind of product. And he was just so not in the mood to give Joey’s selections much thought.
“Hey Chan, which kind of necklace do you think Laura would like the most?” In his hands Joey held two silver necklaces that were basically the same to the blue eyed man.
“I don’t… Do you, honest to God, think in college I studied how to choose jewelry for a woman? Cause I don’t really remember taking that subject” And maybe he should have seen it coming, but apparently that was the exact moment Joey had had enough.
“Sorry, I’ll come back to this later” His tone was polite while putting both pieces of jewelry back over the crystal counter and taking to the salesman that had been trying to help for the last twenty minutes or so. He then turned to Chandler, a displeased expression in his face “You. We are going home. And you’re telling me what the hell is going on”
And so they did. The shops they had been looking at were not that far from the apartment, so it took about ten minutes of Joey dragging Chandler before Joey was closing the door and turning to look at the blue eyed men, who was just looking everywhere to avoid eye contact.
“Chandler. You have one more second to tell me what’s going on with you before I actually start loosing my mind over this” And even under the angry tone, there was hurt and worry and Chandler just wanted to go into his room and cry his eyes out cause, honestly, how could there be a person more perfect in his eyes than Joey.
This was hurting him. He was so selfish, scared of what it would mean to him if he confessed his true feelings, not realizing he was hurting Joey in the process. The one person he had tried to keep safe. And it torn him apart, knowing that this might have been the last few moments of their friendship. But Rachel’s words came back to him and he found himself releasing a deep sigh before he reached out to take Joey’s hand and gently move both of them to the couch.
“Okay, okay, you are right, I should have told you before. I’m sorry, I’m just scared that what I’m about to tell you will completely ruin our friendship and that thought alone terrifies me…” And he was rambling, he knew that, but he had to brace himself before he could actually say the words.
“You… Chandler you are worrying over nothing. Nothing you could say to me would ruin our friendship, you are way too important for me to just let something get in the way of us”
And that sounded so much like something a lover would say. But it was ridiculous to think like that. Joey only meant it in a friendly way. He wasn't going down that road though.
He took a deep breath, finding Joey’s eyes but unable to keep the eye contact.
“Okay, here we go…” He fixed his gaze in his lap “I love you Joe”
Seeing as Joey didn’t immediately react, he started explaining himself even before the guy asked him for one explanation.
“And I mean it as in I am in love with you. Have been for as long as we’ve known each other. Maybe a little less. I’m not really one to believe in love at first sight, you know?” He laughed awkwardly, his gaze still fixed on the hem of his t-shirt that he has fidgeting with “But yeah. And that’s why I’v been trying to stay away. You love Laura, and she’s so so cool, everything I could never be. And I just want you to be happy, doesn’t matter if it kills me to see you with her. I just want to keep the smile you carry around when you look at her in your face forever. I never wanted to get in the way. And I’m so so sorry about the present. I couldn’t bring myself to help you get her something when, even though I really like her, I get jealous every time I see you two together cause I jusmmmmmphh…”
His speech was cut shortly by lips on his, his head being held into place by a hand in the back of his neck, while other cupped his cheek. Warm, soft, plump lips were pressed against his own with a rough edge that soon turned into a gentle pressure when he stopped trying to keep talking. He kissed back by reflex, his eyes closing while his hand went up to grab the wrist of the hand cupping his face, the other being used for support so he wouldn't fall off the couch because of the surprise.
It was only when he actually caught up to what was going on that he ripped himself away, watching Joey with wide eyes while his hand went up to touch his lips.
“Wha… You kissed me! Why did you kiss me?!” He was, most definitely, freaking out. His breathing became erratic and suddenly he felt like he was drowning.
Joey’s eyes went wide and he immediately went to cup both cheeks of Chandler’s face.
“Okay, no. You are so not having a panic attack just after we shared our first kiss. Breath Chan, I know you can do it” He obeyed, following his friend’s own breathing pattern and soon enough he felt like himself again. Once Joey realized this, he gently rested his forehead against Chandler’s, his hands not leaving his face.
They stayed like that a few seconds before Chandler pulled back.
“What are you doing? You were supposed to reject me, not kiss me Joe”
Said man’s eyebrows went up, eyes wide.
“What?! Why would I ever do that?! I’ve been pining over you for as long as you have!”
To say Chandler was speechless was to run short.
“I… I know I’ve been with my fair share of people, but it was only in the hope I could avoid and push down the feelings I have for you. Dude, I’ve been in love with you since forever. And Laura knows, you know? She was the first one to get it, she’s been trying to get over her own ex since we met. We were both trying to help each other… guess there’s no use to it now” That was finished with a small hopeful smile, soft eyes staring up at Chandler’s.
He spluttered unhelpfully.
“You are not even gay!” And oh man, was that the perfect thing to say.
Joey threw his head back while laughing.
“God, I love you but you are unbelievable. I’m bisexual, but I honestly don’t get why it matters”
If Chandler’s heart hadn't been to caught up in the confession coming from Joey, he would have argued, but he didn't have the mind for it.
“You… you love me?” And if the surprise and hope was way too obvious on his voice, who was he to care? He had spent way too many years pining, waiting, dreaming about this.
There was that look in Joey’s face, when his head tilted to the side and his whole face scrunched up in confusion, looking way too much like a confused puppy.
“Dude, come on! Keep up! That’s usually what ‘being in love with someone’ means!”
A nervous laughter bubbled from Chandler’s throat and soon enough he was finally relaxing into his best friend’s arm, burying his face in the crook f said man’s neck.
He felt like flying. Couldn't believe this was even happening. Joey loved him. He loved him back! He had waited his whole life for someone to love him, for his feeling not be unrequited, for someone, anyone, ideally a person from the male population, to accept him for who he was. And here it was, the best human being he had the luck to be best friends with, the one he had craved every single night since they met, the one he thought was just perfect, telling him he loved him too.
“What are you thinking about? I can feel your head overthink this” Joey’s voice pulled him out of his thoughts and he leaned back, letting his gaze roam freely over the handsome features of the other’s face like he hadn't allowed himself before.
“No, I just… I’m so happy” And the smile he gave was genuine, all soft edges and warm feelings.
Joey smiled too, beaming at him, before he leaned forward and pressed his lips against Chandler’s in a chaste kiss, before he pulled back, as if testing the waters. The blue eyed man didn't let him go far though, puling him in again to press their lips together for a longer period of time. He parted his lips experimentally, and was greatly surprised when Joey only hummed happily and deepened the kiss. Hands roamed, Joey’s hands settling one in Chandler’s surprisedly lean waist, pulling him closer, the other in the back of his neck, guiding his head gently while the other’s hand ended up one in Joey’s chest, the other around his ribs.
Soon enough they were fully making out laying across the couch, Chandler ending up between Joey’s legs, most of his weight over the brown eyed man’s chest. After a while, when the kisses turned to sleepy presses of lips, trailing across jaws and necks, just basking the warmth of the embrace. They ended up napping there, Chandler’s head against Joey’s chest, both heartbeats steady and calm.
And if they woke up giddy and happy and couldn't help but tell the others right away, no one really judged them, although he saw the way the three girls shared a look and looked proud of him.
The group was sitting at their usual place in the coffee house, with the exception that now Chandler and Joey sat together in the armchair that was too small to hold both men comfortably so it usually ended with Chandler sitting in Joey’s lap, leaning against him or the armrest.
They were casually talking about some nonsense like dinosaurs or Phoebe’s last ridiculous massage client when Joey starter mindlessly nibbling at Chandler’s throat, apparently done with the conversation and having nothing else to do.
He only rested more heavily against the other’s chest, sighting softly, not being able to continue being part of the conversation.
It was only when everyone turned to look at him expectantly that he realized they had been talking to him.
“Sorry, what was that?” He tried to straighten himself, but Joey’s arm around his waist kept him from doing so.
“Oh man, you guys are honest to god, ridiculous. It has been three fucking months! When will you be able to keep your hands to each other!” Ross complained loudly, obviously done with the situation.
Someone behind the sofa snickered softly.
“Well, I think they’re cute”
Everyone turned to the voice, meeting red hair and blue piercing eyes. A shorter brunette with soft hazel eyes and caramel skin close behind.
“Laura! Annie! We thought you wouldn't be back for another week!” Monica was immediately on her feet hugging the woman, followed by Rachel that seemed to squeeze the living hell out of the redhead.
So, it had been like this; Joey had broken up with Laura and Chandler had never in his life met someone before that was as comprehensive and forgiving as that woman. Soon enough she met a girl and they both started going out and fall in love. She had stayed as part of the group, everyone too fond of her to let her go. And she introduced them to Annie, her girlfriend. Everything was perfect, they were no hard feelings between either Chandler and Laura and Joey and Laura. Two months later the two girls announced they were moving to the other side of the country, since Annie had been offered her dream job in LA. So they were in the process of moving and Rachel was just sad since Laura and her both worked in fashion and had found a good friend in the industry.
But over all, it was all good. They were finishing up some things with the moving company before going away for good in two weeks.
Chandler was surprised with how much he was gonna miss them. Both him and Joey made no effort to move and say hi, too comfortable in their warm embrace to move. Both girls eyed them knowingly but said nothing, moving on to order some scones and coffee.
Chandler turned around, smiled softly at Joey, that was looking up to him with an adoring gaze, as if he was responsible for hanging up the moon and all the stars.
A few months ago he had thought the fondest look Joey could give to someone was the one he gave to Laura, followed by the softest smiled.
He had been wrong.
He know knew the most adoring and fondest look Joey could give to someone was him. He was now used to find brown eyes staring at him lovingly while he was doing things as mundane as cooking or talking to someone. The ones he liked the most, though, were those when they were buried in blankets, sometimes after having sex, there when they where just laying together, that were accompanied by an ‘I love you’ and followed by a kiss.
So yeah, maybe Chandler had been jealous of the expression Joey had when he was with Laura, but now he knew that it had been nothing compared to how Joey looked at him now.
This was my first fanfic ever so I though I would post it here too just because

I carried her outside panic clenching hard on my heart while guilt tugged at my gut. This my was fault... I shouldn't have let her go alone. She was limp in my arms as I carried her to the impala. I glanced back spotting Dean close behind me. In one arm he held a young boy and in his other was a girl about her size. The boy was wide awake while the girl seemed a little out of it. I carefully opened the back door letting Dean slide his load in first. I didn't want to let go of her.
"Come on Sam, we've got to get them to the hospital," Dean growled. I convinced myself to let go setting her in the back seat. The other girl gently laid her across her lap. I gave her a nod of thanks before closing the door and getting into the passenger seat.
.
I sat in the hospital waiting room with Dean. My arms rested across my knees allowing my head to hang. My mind was racing. I shouldn't have let her go alone. I ran a hand through my hair the panic still holding onto my heart. I couldn't calm down. "Dylan?" My head shot up. Dean and I jumped out of or seats and headed toward the doctor.
"How is she? Is she alright?" I asked, nervously.
"And how are the kids?" Dean added.
"They're all doing fine. You found them just in time. If your friend or the girl would've lost anymore blood there would be nothing to help them," he explained, calmly. I let out a sigh of relief my heart relaxing a little.
"Their parents have been called. Thank you both," the doctor added, bowing his head.
"May we see her?" I questioned, running a hand through my hair again. The doctor nodded before walking away. We followed after him until he stopped outside her door.
"You check on her, I'm going to check on the kids," Dean said. I nodded and went into her room. To my surprise she was awake.
"Hey Sam," she rasped, turning her head toward me.
"How are you feeling?" I asked, coming to her bedside. I stood only for a moment before pulling a chair over. She coughed, looking away for a moment.
"Little tired, but I've had worse," she chuckled, roughly. Her voice was weak and hoarse. I frowned slightly.
"I'm so sorry-"
"Don't start." She cut me off. I tilted my head in confusion.
"It isn't- your fault Sam," she said. I opened my mouth to speak, but she cut me off.
"I let my guard down when I saw the girl. That was my mistake," she explained.
"But I-"
"Sam, I went alone because I wanted to. It isn't your fault. I can see it in your eyes- you're blaming yourself... And you don't need to," she finished. I breathed in to speak again but silenced myself as her hand gently rested over mine. Without thinking I shifted intertwining our fingers.
The softest smile I'd ever seen crossed her perfect lips. The panic left me and was replaced with warmth. I stroked her thumb with mine taking a monent to scan my gaze over her face. She was paler than she normally was, but the color was slowly returning to her cheeks and face. Her eyes sparkled even through the dull color that currently occupied her eyes. Her smile held sending butterflies into my stomach. Only one person had ever made me experience such happiness in the roughest times. My heart sank slightly. She was another fine example of how people got hurt around me. I slowly released her hand looking away.
"It's funny... The Jinn showed me everything I've ever wanted.." She huffed, looking up at the ceiling. I turned my gaze back to her.
"What did it show you?" I asked, curiously. She let out a puff of laughter.
"I had my family.. I was married and I lived a normal life as an art teacher..." She sighed, sadness crossing her expression. I stayed silent.
"I had everyone.. My sister, my brothers, my dad, Dean..." She hesitated. "You."
I raised my brows in surprise. My curiosity continued to grow as did my hopes. I'd tried to bury the feelings I had for her, but everytime I thought I was in the clear she'd do something else to remind me of how perfect she was. I'd wanted to tell her for a long time, but I couldn't.
"We had a dog," she added, laughing again. My ears caught at we. We? What did she mean we? When she says married.. Did she mean us? I tried to clear my head. Her eyes met mine and I held it.
"I wanted to stay honestly.." She murmured, looking away her smile fading.
"I had everything I ever could've had..." The question pushed at me.
"Why didn't you?" She looked back at me catching my gaze again.
"I-" she looked away for a moment before catching me again.
"I saw a little boy... When- when I grabbed him I heard..." she hesitated.
"Heard what?" I encouraged.
"I heard you.. Yelling for me.." She continued. My heart stopped.
"I could hear you for a split second calling out to me..." I didn't know what to say so instead I waited.
"I couldn't leave you, which is ironic because you tried to stop me from going too," she huffed. I couldn't help myself as I reached forward taking her hand in mine once more. She squeezed my hand lightly. Her face was sad and it broke me.
"Plus, apparently Dean didn't give me my bracelet and I couldn't live without that damn thing," she giggled, trying to lighten the mood. The sadness on her face only faded a little.
"Damn right you couldn't. You never take it off for christ sake." Dean's voice startled me. I wasn't sure how long he'd been there, but I didn't really care. He came to stand next to me resting a hand on my shoulder. I didn't let go of her hand and she didn't pull away.
"How are ya kid?" Dean asked, calmly.
"I've been better," she said, coughing briefly. Dean chuckled.
"Both of the kids are going to be okay. The little boy is actually going to be discharged in the morning. The Jinn barely got anything out of him before we got there," Dean explained, looking back at the door.
"What about the girl I saw when I got there?" She questioned, sitting up a little more.
"She'll be released in a week or so, but we can get you released now if you want," Dean replied. She let out a sigh of relief.
"Get me the hell out of here. I hate hospitals," she pleaded. I frowned looking up at Dean.
"Maybe that isn't such a good idea. We've got a long drive ahead of us and you need to rest," I countered. She frowned playfully at me.
"I can sleep in the car, plus, isn't there an angel back at the bunker?" She corrected. She had a point. Cas could definitely get her back on her feet in a matter of seconds.
"I'll go get the discharge papers then," Dean said, before wandering out of the room. I turned my full attention back to her looking her over again.
"Are you sure you want to do this? You shouldn't really be up and about so soon." I was concerned about her. She rolled her eyes.
"Help me sit up, will you?" I stood from the chair pushing it aside. I gently reached behind her splaying my hand along her back as she began to sit up. My other hand was braced on her shoulder to steady her. She seemed to tense under my touch which was odd. She shifted with a grunt swinging her legs off of the bed. A nurse entered the room with Dean on her heels. The nurse frowned, but began to unhook her from the machines, silently. I stepped aside taking my place next to Dean.
"Are we sure about this?" I questioned, glancing at my brother.
"She said she wanted out so that is what we're doing. I agree Sam, she shouldn't be going anywhere, but I can remember being in her position and I didn't want to be stuck in a bed either," Dean replied, eyeing her.
"Your clothes are in the drawer miss, and the bathroom is just over there," the nurse instructed. She nodded in response digging out her clothes. Instinctively I moved to her side gently taking her arm and helping her toward the bathroom. Once inside I stood in the doorway.
"You gonna stand there or close the door?" She spoke, drawing me from my blank state. My cheeks flushed a light shade of pink as I backed up closing the door. I sighed and walked back over to Dean.
"I hate it," Dean said, suddenly. I glanced over at him giving him a confused look.
"She shouldn't of had to go through that. Coming out of a Jinn's trance is hard," he explained.
"She shouldn't have gone alone. You should've gone with her," Dean continued, blame evident in his voice. The guilt bit at my gut again causing me to look down at my feet. The bathroom door opened drawing my glance. She was wearing the same clothes that were dirty from the warehouse. Dean approached her offering her his arm.
"Shall we?" She hesitated casting a weary glance my way before reluctantly taking Dean's arm. He began to lead her and I followed behind at a sulking pace.
.
The drive back to the bunker was quiet. She'd fallen asleep about an hour in which gave Dean time to call Cas. I stared in the side mirror watching her sleep behind my seat with her head rested against the cool window. Her face held the same expression it did when we found her. I looked away watching the road ahead as we pulled into the bunker's gravel driveway.
Dean drove the impala into the garage parking it. I unbuckled and reached over the seat resting a hand on her knee. I shook it gently. I swiftly let go as she shot up from the window with a gasp.
"Whoa easy," Dean said, looking back at her. We got out of the car and I helped her. She leaned against me as we walked allowing me to guide her steps.
"You okay?" I asked, gently. She didn't answer only leaning harder against my side. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder keeping her safely locked against me as we walked. I understood her silence. I'd learned the hard way not to push the matter if she didn't want to discuss it.
Cas met us at the entrance to the library taking her from my side and sitting her down in one of the wooden chairs.
"Can you heal her?" Dean questioned, knowing full well that Cas could. Castiel nodded.
"I'd like to look at the full extend of what the Jinn did to you if that's alright," Castiel began, placing his hand on her forehead. She nodded her approval closing her eyes. We watched in silence as a dim light glowed from his palm. I could make out the movement of her eyes under her eyelids. Cas was reading her. Her grip on the chair tightened suddenly before her eyes shot open with another gasp. Castiel pulled his hand back. I took a worried step forward, but paused. Their eyes met and a sympathic look crossed Castiel. Cas sent me the same glance for a moment rising more questions in me. What did he see? Why did he look at me? What scared her?
"Relax for me again," Castiel ordered. With a shaky breath she closed her eyes again. Castiel repeated the same movements except this time the color returned to her face and cheeks. He backed off again and her eyes opened. Their bright color had returned as well.
"You should get some rest. You may feel unwell for a day or two," Castiel suggested. She yawned clearly not going to argue.
"Cas, can I talk to you?" The angel looked toward Dean and nodded before following him out of the room. She stood from the chair swaying a little on her feet. I didn't ask as I took my place at her side again offering her my arm to help her walk. She took it without hesitation.
I walked her to her room and opened the door for her. I helped her to her bed sitting her down. I had to try.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked, quietly. She shook her head before lying herself down. I took that as my cue.
"If you need anything I'm just down the hall," I offered. She didn't respond. I left her room closing the door behind me. Castiel met me outside my own room which was just down the hall from hers.
"Sam, it would be wise to give her some space," Castiel encouraged.
"After what she has gone through and what she has seen it would be unwise to push your presence on her," he added, almost as if he was threatening me. I let out a sigh.
"Can you tell me what she saw?" My mind replayed the things she had said in the hospital, but I still had unanswered questions bouncing in the back of my mind. He shook his head firmly before walking away. I went into my room closing the door. I was tired. I dropped stomach first onto my bed not bothering to make myself comfortable as I very quickly drifted off.
.
I jolted awake to a loud cry and a thud. I snatched my gun from under my pillow and ran from my room searching for the noise. My eyes were tired with sleep, but I forced them open alarm going through me. The cry sounded again signaling that it was from her room. I moved swiftly and quietly down the hall my gun drawn and ready. With one movement I opened her door. In the dark I could make out her form on the floor sitting with her legs drawn up to her chest.
I entered the room sitting my gun on her dresser. I dropped down in front of her and reached out for her. She jumped and scrambled back for a moment. I could make out the fear glazing her eyes. "Hey, hey, it's just me, you're-" I grunted as she lunged forward her arms sliding around my neck. Her face buried itself between her arm and my neck. I stayed on my knees wrapping one arm around her lower back and the other across her shoulder blades. Her body trembled against me. I pressed my face into her shoulder rubbing my thumb against her lower back.
I didn't speak as I held onto her taking in the moment. She'd never clung to me like this before and it was odd. After a few minutes she slowly began to let go. I didn't want to, but I followed her lead. I stood up helping her back onto her feet. She sat on the edge of the bed taking her face in her hands. I stood in front of her staring down at her.
"Are you okay?" I asked. Shock washed over me again as she reached out and gripped my shirt pulling me to stand between her parted legs. She wrapped her arms around my lower back burying her face into my shirt. I hesitated for a moment before letting my arms fall on her shoulders tucking her closer. She shook her head against me giving me an answer to my question. I rubbed circled into her left shoulder blade hoping to calm her down. She was still shaking against me.
"I keep seeing it..." she muttered, into my shirt. She pulled back letting go of me. I followed. Her eyes met mine.
"I keep- I keep seeing it everytime I close my eyes..." she repeated. I placed myself next to her on the bed positioning myself so that I was facing her.
"Seeing what?" I asked.
"All of it... The life, the people... the escape." A chill ran up her spine at the last words. I stayed silent showing her that she had my full attention. She gulped avoiding eye contact.
"Everytime I close my eyes I see my family, my dad and my sister.. And I keep seeing your mom and dad... Along with you and Dean," she began. I was surprised that John and Mary were in this, but I didn't say anything.
"I keep seeing my sister happily married to.." She paused the anticipation of her answer tugging at me.
"To Dean..." I raised a brow.
"I keep seeing..." she paused again looking in a different direction.
"It's alright," I encouraged, carefully taking her hand in my own. She squeezed my hand a little.
"Us.. I keep seeing us," she said, finally. I tilted my head. Her gaze suddenly met mine in an intense stare.
"We were married Sam," she blurted, tears stinging her eyes. My own eyes widened in surprise my grip on her hand loosening.
"Oh God..." She choked. She stood up pulling away from me.
"I tried so desperately not to... but after I saw that, I can't just forget," she continued, turning to face me. I didn't move from the bed still shocked by her words.
"We were so happy Sam... and I- and I gave it up," she sobbed, turning her back to me again. I slowly stood realization hitting me. She left because of me. She had the perfect life with everything, yet she left it to come back to me.
"You begged me not to go... But I couldn't. He wasn't Sam, he was just- just a dream." Her voice cracked causing my heart to clench.
"So I-" she paused again. I took a few steps toward her. Her hands came up to rest near her collar bone.
"So I slit my throat.." My heart dropped. Dean hadn't ever told me how he managed to wake up from the trance. I suppose when you die in a dream you wake up. She turned to face me once more her head hanging low and her shoulders trembling with each sob. I came forward until I was in front of her again. I reached out and pulled her close trapping her against my chest. Her hands stayed curled between our bodies as she cried.
The feelings I had buried were surging back tenfold. Her fingers tangled into the fabric of my shirt. I continued to rub circles into her back until she relaxed her sobbing calmed down.
"What's going on?" Dean's voice suddenly called. She pulled back from me looking at Dean who stood in her doorway.
"I- I had a nightmare, that's all," she muttered. Dean's cold stare met mine.
"You okay? I know it can be rough after something like that." Dean stayed at the doorway.
"I'm fine." she defended, taking a step back. Her body brushed against mine.
"Best thing to do is to go back to sleep. Yes, you'll probably have another nightmare, but the more you sleep the faster it wears off," Dean explained.
"I can stay with you if you'd like?" Dean suggested. She turned and walked away from the two of us sitting down on her bed. I turned my back to Dean watching her.
"I don't need a babysitter," she warned, looking away from us. I glanced back to Dean who was staring daggers into my back.
"Alright, if you need anything yell." Without another word Dean left. My heart ached for her. Dean was her best friend, yet she was pushing him away. The silence in the room was overwhelming. I had so many questions and so many things I wanted to say, but when I opened my mouth all of those words stayed trapped in my throat.
"Dean's right... I should just go back to sleep," she muttered, looking down at her feet.
"You need to rest anyway, Cas said you shouldn't be up and about for a few days," I agreed.
"I- I'll let you-"
"Please don't leave me," she whined, her head shooting up to look at me. I stared at her for a moment. She'd told Dean she didn't need someone to watch her, yet she was asking me to stay.
"Please." Her voice was so soft. My mind trailed back to what Cas had said to me. He'd warned me to stay away. Screw him. As I walked back to her bed she slid further onto it making herself comfortable on her side. We'd slept in the same bed pleanty of times, but this was different. I sat on the bed leaning my back against the headboard. She moved closer almost snuggling herself against my leg. After a moment I couldn't contain myself. I slid down onto my own side facing her. She flipped the covers over me trapping our bodies under them.
"You don't- have to do this... I understand if what I told you..." She paused.
"If what you told me...?"
"Makes you uncomfortable." She thought that I didn't care about her. She thought that the feelings she had were one sided.
"No, no it doesn't." I had to reassure her. I scooted closer pulling her to me. I draped one arm over her side locking her in.
"I'm glad you told me," I murmured, catching her weary gaze.
"I know with this job, this life, we are supposed to keep the ones we love far away. We can't afford attachments... But I can't keep you away. I can't keep pretending like these feelings... These feelings don't exist," I admitted. Her eyes widened.
"You aren't the only one who has been burying things.." I finished. The silence that fell between us was comforting. Our eyes never left each others.
"Sam I-" she hesitated. I opened my mouth to question, but was stunned to silence as she suddenly moved capturing my lips with hers. Butterflies exploded in my stomach causing me to kiss back. My eyes slid closed allowing myself to take in everything. I'd wanted this for a long time. She shifted her position keeping us together as she pushed my shoulder. I followed her silent comand and rolled onto my back taking her with me. Her upper body rested on mine her arm bracing herself on my chest.
Our kiss finally broke leaving both of us breathless. I opened my eyes to look up at her. Her hair hung down over her shoulders almost touching my face. I reached up brushing a section of it behind her ear. She leaned down and pressed a kiss to my forehead causing me to lean upward into it. She moved back shifting her position until her head rested over my heart. I let one arm slide further up her back holding her close against my side. One of her hands lightly gripped the fabric of my shirt while the other took my free hand intertwining our fingers. I could've sworn I was melting under her touch. She snuggled closer causing my heart rate to flutter. She giggled tiredly her ear resting directly over my heart. "Relax Sam, I don't bite," she yawned. My cheeks turned a light shade of pink.
"You should try and sleep," I mumbled.
"I'm trying, but your voice is rumbling my entire head," she pouted. I couldn't help but chuckle. She raised her head for a moment giving me a playful glare before laying her head back down.
"Thank you for staying with me Sam.." She yawned, taking one last moment to cuddle against me.
"Anything for you," I replied, letting my own eyes slide closed.

What Are You Doing Here?
HAHN
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lainey was back in Maxine, this time with Cameron. She made sure Melissa didn't even know they were gone. Lainey didn't have time for Melissa to start acting scary and snitching. Eddie had called her and she had to bring Cameron right away.
Parking the black sedan a few hours away from Randall's, Lainey cut the engine and turned in her seat towards Cameron.
"Why are we here, Lainey? You know I don't like leaving my boy with Benny."
"Eddie called me and told me something but I knew if I told you that you wouldn't believe me," she explained quickly.
Cameron laughed and rubbed at his eyes. "I know your big head ass did not make me leave the house for something Eddie trigger happy ass said. Man, take me back home."
Lainey sighed then pointed towards Randall's house.
"Whose car is that, Cam?"
Laughing to himself, Cameron started to shake his head. "I just know that's not who car I think it is."
"It is. Eddie said it's been parked out here for six hours. Nobody else in and nobody out."
Cameron is his Pop's son. He didn't do a lot of talking, he didn't explain himself and if he had to do either of those things it wasn't going to be nice for whoever was around.
Without another word, Cameron jumped out the sedan walking quickly across the street to Randall's house with Lainey right behind him. She jogged to catch up to him, grabbing his arm which he pulled away.
"Cam, wait. Calm down before you go in there. Collect your thoughts, don't do anything too quickly."
Those were things Caleb always told Cameron when he got upset, the only problem being he hadn't gotten to where Caleb is. He had yet to master the art of completely calming down when certain things pissed him off. This being one of those certain things.
He nodded at his little sister trying to calm his nerves but he couldn't. He continued his march to Randall's house with Lainey right behind him. Not bothering to knock, Cameron walked right in the house startling both Marcie and Randall, who were standing at the kitchen counter around Randall's laptop. Marcie put her hand to her mouth looking at Lainey and then at Cameron.
Tumblr media
"What are you doing here? Where's our son?" She asked softly
"He's home where your ass should be," Cameron spat glaring at his wife. "Why are you here in this man's house? This man me and my whole family have been protecting you from."
Randall stood to the side, his arms folded across his chest with a smile on his face.
"It's not what you think, Cameron. He wouldn't leave me alone and then I had to come make him stop," she explained through her tears. "I wanted him to leave me alone."
"What did I tell you before we got married, Marcie? I told you that you had one time. This was your one time."
Randall stepped forward with a menacing look in his eyes. "See? I told you. Nobody wants your damaged ass. Not me, not Brad, not your lil mama's boy, " he laughed. "I bet he goes out and finds him a nice white woman. One without all the baggage you have."
"I don't give a damn what me and her got goin on, you not gon talk to her like that in front of me. Watch your mouth," Cameron warned.
"All she is, is a cum dumpster. She's only good for lying on her back. Her mama was definitely right about her. But now your ass is stuck with her cause she gave your stupid ass a baby!"
Marcie stared at the ground, crying as Randall belittled her. Lainey could see the look on her brother's face and knew something bad was about to happen so she quickly pulled Marcie out of the way. As soon as she did Cameron tackled Randall, landing blow after blow to his face and torso. He blacked out all he saw was his rage and that's the only thing that mattered.
Marcie started to scream for them to stop, Lainey shushed her and pulled her out of the house so she could call Eddie. When she hung up with him, she tried to talk to Marcie.
"Why did you come here? You could've at least brought me with you, you know how Cam is, Marcie."
Marcie wrapped her arms around herself looking around the neighborhood. "I couldn't," she cried. "I couldn't bring any of you."
Lainey stared at her sister in law confused. She kept asking her why but Marcie wouldn't answer. Minutes later, Eddie pulled up in his police car and hopped out.
"Lainey, don't talk to her. Who knows what she's been doing with that mouth of hers." Eddie spat slowly approaching them. "Where the hell is Cameron?"
"Inside fighting with Randall."
Just then there was a loud boom from the house and Eddie ran in. Lainey knew enough to know that it wasn't a gunshot but loud enough that someone was hurt and loud enough to wake some of the neighbors.
Alex emerged from the house next door in her robe then Natalie and Lushion from two houses down. All three running over to Marcie and Lainey.
"Is everything okay? Do you know this woman?" Lushion asked Marcie.
Marcie nodded. "She's my sister in law."
Lainey rolled her eyes at them. "Everything is fine. Yall can go back to sleep, this is a family dispute."
Natalie saw Eddie's car and shook her head. "Wait.... you're related to Eddie? Oh hell no. Lushion get in that house and see what's going on."
"How about you take your nosey ass back to your house? You don't give a damn about Marcie or what's wrong, you just wanna know what's going on," Lainey fussed blocking the entry way.
"Ma'am, I'm an officer you have to let me by."
"And I'm the first lady, I don't have to let you do shit. Leave me and my family business alone." Natalie stepped forward trying to push Lainey out of the way only to be pushed back herself. "Did you not hear what I said? Take yall asses on somewhere this is between my family and Randall. We got this."
"You ain't no damn first lady. Move your lil young ass out the way."
Lainey got tired of talking and threw a punch knocking Natalie off her feet. Lushion stared at Lainey as he helped Natalie up.
"I could arrest you for that. That's assault," Lushion yelled.
"And if you arrest me, you bet your ass you're gonna arrest her too. She put hands on me first, LuLu."
While they argued, Alex snuck around the back of the house. It was killing her not knowing what was going on with Randall. She hoped that he was okay. She got in the back door and found Eddie and Cameron both beating up Randall. Charging for a Eddie, she stayed to punch and hit him as hard as she could until Eddie pushed her off of him.
"What the hell is your problem, whore? Lucky I ain't shoot your dumbass." Eddie complained getting off the floor.
Cameron got up too, satisfied with the damage he had done. Randall laid on the ground coughing up blood and clutching his side. Ignoring Eddie, Alex kneeled down to check on Randall.
Just as Cameron approached the laptop they'd found Marcie and Randall by, Marcie came running in and shut the laptop. Cameron glared at her.
"What're you doin, Marcie?"
"You can't look at it, Cam. Please don't look at it." She cried.
"Tell me what you don't want me to see. What is it?"
Randall laughed from the floor earning another kick from Eddie. Lainey, who finally got Lushion and Natalie to go home, came back into the house rubbing her knuckles.
"Go on," Randall said trying to talk through his pain, "Tell him what I have."
Marcie played with her fingers as she cried. She didn't want to tell Cameron, let alone everyone else. She wanted to keep it all to herself. Cameron's patience had run out with her.
"Tell me now or I'm gonna walk out that door and you won't see me or my boy ever again."
"He recorded us every time we had sex and he threatened to sell them to some company. The only way he wouldn't is if I came here and begged him not to," she explained tearfully, "But when I got here, he'd already sold five of them."
Cameron grabbed the laptop, shoving it in Lainey's arms then told her to take Marcie home. Lainey didn't argue, she took the laptop, grabbed Marcie's hand and left the house. Cameron then turned his attention to Alex.
"You love him?" He asked.
Alex looked at Cameron with a frightened look on her face. "Yes. I do."
"Love him enough to take a bullet to the head?"
Alex quickly shook her head and stood, moving away from Randall.
Eddie stepped closer to her. "Then you need to take your hoe ass back to that house and forget we were ever here."
Alex left the house, closing the door behind her. There hasn't been a single time that she was afraid of Eddie until tonight.
"How nosey are his neighbors?" Cameron asked Eddie.
"As hell. Pain in my damn ass."
Cameron nodded. "I want you to enjoy these last couple days I'm giving you. Do anything you need to do cause when I come back, it'll be the end. Like you were never here."
Taking one last look at Randall, Cameron turned seedy headed for the front door. He stopped at the threshold. "And don't try to run, I'll find you."
Eddie smirked and winked at Randall. "See ya soon, little buddy."

Love that grows part 1 Loki x reader
Warnings: fluff, sadness, grudge-holding, heavily pregnant reader, cussing, takes place during Thor Ragnarok
You are [Name] [F/N]'sdottir and Heimdall's niece as well as a new generation Valkyrie, just not a soul knows just your Uncle Heimdall who raised you as his own child when your parents died during a battle.
You wake up in bed your back to your love Loki Laufeyson Angrily. You recently hadn't been getting along with him you just never let the pent up anger out and it was sometimes sneaking out but you tried your best to hold in your anger since he usually saw you as calm and happy and you were pregnant with his child for 8 and a half months you were also engaged to him you knew you needed to let your pent up anger with him out but you just couldn't you didn't want to ruin your relationship. You knew that once you got married to him it would just cause issues, but you just couldn't.
Loki sits up and says "I have to go [Name], I will see you later" you just nod curtly and he says "you can always come with" you still say nothing he sighs at your no response. Loki says to you "you seriously can't be mad at me" you only answer by glaring at him and he sighs he says "well, I may as well go, but also I need to put the illusion on you" you sighed but nodded curtly you knew that if you said one word to him you'd end up exploding. He casts the illusion onto you that makes sure only he can see your large stomach.
He transforms himself into Odin after and Damn you hated that he was pretending to be Odin it was pure torcher and did nothing but put you into despair and somehow you still loved Loki and were loyal to him.
You sat up in bed and groaned in frustration and right then you felt the baby give you a large and painful kick so you hissed in pain "Ouch!" You climbed out of bed changing into something random being a green dress that was perfect for your round belly it was simple but comfortable and actually fit you. The baby kept on kicking you violently and some reason grew cold which was weird the baby only did that when there was danger nearby or oncoming danger. Which was one of your many abilities just you didn't get cold but the baby was jotun so it made sense. so you looked around and outside your window but there was absolutely nothing so you kept your furnished dagger with you keeping your guard up and left to go and join Loki well 'Odin' in watching theatre.
When you got there you sat near him and you felt like ice because the baby was still emitting cold so you elbowed 'Odin' still not wanting to talk to him he snaps his head and asks annoyed "what? What Is it?" You hissed as the baby kicked "Ouch!" You put Loki disguised as Odin's hand on your stomach seething out quietly "That!" He takes the hand off of your stomach almost right away and says "The baby senses oncoming danger, just don't let your guard down" you groaned at how little he paid attention to the baby and that you felt like ice because of it he seemed not to care at all which made you even more angry with him.
You sat there eating Loki's bowl of grapes and when the actor of Thor said something about Loki turning Thor into a frog you heard 'Odin' say "indeed it was" you continued to watch the play in boredom and looked at the statue he had up and it brought nothing but more anger you told him not to put it up but did he listen fuck no, you even told him it would blow his cover, but still he refused to listen he acted as if you were just a leech and it pissed you off but somehow you still managed to turn the other cheek and look past that.
Soon you see Thor and you say"yes!" 'Odin' looks at you and asks"what is it?" You seethe out "nothing that concerns you," He says "ok, calm down" you reply snarkily but quietly "don't order me around!" You clamp your mouth shut before you make a big scene.
The play ends and 'Odin' stands up clapping and says "well done, well done!" Thor walks out from the crowd and says "Father?" 'Odin' mutters "oh, shit" he sips from his wine and says "my son Thor has returned, greetings my boy."
you smirk deviously and say "well, you're screwed" he replies "not if I can help it" you seeth in a whisper "he probably already knows it's you, he's stupid but not THAT stupid" he ignores you so you roll your eyes and sigh frustrated. You gasped when the baby kicked you so you cuss quietly "crap, stop that you little shit!" Thor says to 'Odin' "it's an interesting play, what's it called?" 'Odin' replies "the tragedy of loki of Asgard, the people wanted to commemorate him," Thor says "and indeed they should, I like the statue a lot better looking than when he was alive, a little less weasly, greasy maybe" you can hear 'Odin' scoff and you get a bit angry even if you were pissed with Loki who is disguised as Odin.
Thor raises the skull and asks "do you know what this is?" 'Odin' replies "ooh the skull of Surtur, a formidable weapon," Thor says "well, do me a favour lock this up in the vault so it doesn't turn into a giant monster and destroy the whole planet" he hands it over to a guard. 'Odin' stands up and hands his drink over to you and says "thank you dear" you roll your eyes since that was totally sarcastic. He asks Thor "so uhm back to Midgard for you is it?" You could tell he was really nervous.
Thor replies "nope, I've been having this reoccurring dream lately, every night I see Asgard fall into ruins," Loki still disguised as Odin says "it's just a silly dream, a sign of an overactive imagination" Thor replies "possibly and then I decide to go out there and investigate, and what do I find, the nine realms completely in chaos, enemies of Asgard plotting our demise, all while you Odin the protector of the nine realms sit here in your bathrobe eating grapes" Loki well 'Odin' replies "yes well it is best to respect our neighbours freedom" Thor replies "yes, the freedom to be massacred" he tosses Mjolnir and catches it and Loki well 'Odin' says "yes, well I've been rather busy myself."
Thor asks "watching theatre?" 'Odin' replies "well, security council, board meetings and-" Thor cuts him off "your really gonna make me do it?" 'Odin' asks "do what?" Thor throws Mjolnir into the distance and stands behind 'Odin' holding him by the neck and says "nothing will stop Mjolnir as it returns to my hand, not even your face" 'Odin' says "you've gone quite mad, you'll be executed for this!" Thor lowers his voice "see you on the other side, brother." You mutter to yourself seething "of course, I knew Thor was smarter than that, I warned him, but did he listen to me, oh heck no! My, he's an idiot!"
Loki finally drops the illusion when Mjolnir almost hits him and shouts "alright, I yield!" Thor throws him out the way making everyone gasp except you, you simply roll your eyes knowing this would happen Skurge comes running and says clearly out of breath "behold, Thor... Odinson" Loki cuts Skurge off by snapping his fingers and saying clearly pissed off "no, no" he turns to Skurge really pissed off holding one finger up "you had one job, just the one!" You somehow found it attractive when Loki was pissed it was cute (I tbh think Loki is adorable right then).
You just couldn't stay away, could you? Everything was fine without you. Asgard was prospering. You've ruined everything, ask them."
Thor walks toward Loki intimidating and asks Loki "Where's father? Did you kill him?" Loki says clearly nervous" you had what you wanted, you got the independence you asked for" Thor makes Loki fall onto the couch holding Mjolnir against his chest and you gave Loki a glare followed by an eye roll
Loki glanced at you with a pleading look but you turned your face the opposite direction and glared at him Loki finally answered Thor in a pained voice "ow, ow, ow, ok, I know exactly where he is."
=========later========
The three and a bit over half of you went to Midgard and were standing by a building being demolished and Loki says "I swear I left him right here" Thor asks "here on the sidewalk or the building that's being demolished, great planning" Loki says "how was I supposed to know, I can't see into the future, im, not a witch" Thor says "really, then why do you dress like one?" You laugh and Loki glares at you so you glare back and your comment "I could've down it though."
Loki asks you "then why didn't you?" You roll your eyes and seethe "because you don't seem to give a damn about me as well as you didn't ask because you're a greedy and greasy jackass, who doesn't give a fuck about someone other than himself like me and your-" your cut off by a bunch of girls coming over and saying to Thor "can we have a picture with you?" Thor replies "of course" Loki rolls his eyes and the girls say to Thor before they leave "sorry to hear that Jane dumped you" Thor says, "she didn't dump me, it was mutual dumping," a circle appears around Loki's feet and Thor asks him "what are you doing?" Loki replies "this, isn't me."
Soon Loki disappears and you exhale somewhat more relaxed especially from that outburst of anger just now, but you were still pissed off and wanted so much to slap Loki at the least Thor pokes at the paper with his 'umbrella' and whispers "Loki?" You pat Thor's back sarcastically and say with sarcasm "Thor, you genius, he can't turn into a piece of paper" Thor picks up the paper and reads it Thor asks "so why are you so mad at my brother now?" you reply "many, many reasons, what about you and Jane?" Thor avoids your question and says "let's just go."
++++++++++++later++++++++++
You and Thor go to the place and a weird sorcerer guy appears and says "Thor Odinson, [Name] [F/N]'sdottir" you're shocked as to how he knows your name he says to Thor "you can put down, the umbrella" Thor does so, you all appear in a new room, you don't listen to a thing but soon enough your both seated and the sorcerer gives Thor some tea and you some flavours water Thor says "I don't drink tea" the sorcerer gives Thor something else being beer and you remain the same so you say "I want some of that to."
He says in a whisper "really I don't think so not with the little one in you" your eyes widen and you ask "what? How do you? What?" He replies "I have ways" sooner or later you zone out and don't hear a word but alone soon enough the sorcerer gets a book, grabs a piece of Thor's hair, making Thor roll down the stairs which you can't help but snicker to.
Randomly a portal appears and Thor says "I guess I'll be needing my brother back" the sorcerer replies "oh, right" Loki appears to fall out of a portal and onto the floor he says angrily "I have been falling for thirty minutes!"
Tumblr media
the sorcerer says "you can handle him from here" you knew that was a bad idea but did nothing Loki seethes out "Handle me? Who are you? You think you're some kind of sorcerer? Don't think for one minute, you second-rate–" the sorcerer says "all right, bye-bye" he sends you all through a portal of some kind.
You land in a grassy area on a mountaintop Odin was standing by the edge, Loki and Thor walk over, you stay back since this was a family matter Odin says to them "do you hear it, your mother calls me" Thor glared at Loki and said "Loki, stop it" Loki shook his head and Odin says "took me quite a while to break from your spell, Frigga would have been proud, [Name] come over" Loki looks shocked at the praise. You ask Odin hesitantly "but im not-" he gestures for you to go over, so you do.
Odin looks at the engagement ring on your hand that you forgot about Loki had proposed before you were even pregnant and says "[Name], Loki you have my blessing" you smile slightly the first time in a while your anger dissolves right then and Loki looks at you fondly and smiles slightly he lifts your hand and kisses it right where the ring is and Odin says more things that you didn't quite listen to you because you were happy he praised Loki and gave you both his blessing.
The only things you really heard were a few things about Ragnarok after that Odin had disappeared and turned into a bunch of sparkles of a sort of course after saying he loved all of you. Thor was clearly angry and clouded with grief since storm clouds started to appear and Loki told you "[Name] stay back, or behind me" you nodded and obeyed.
Thor said to Loki " This is your fault!" You were too far back to hear anything and suddenly a portal appeared and women wearing Loki's colours which pissed you off an made you want to kill her right there but you couldn't, you had you and Loki's child in you. The baby was freezing you inside and out you felt as if you were getting frostbite and started to shiver Loki noticed and looked worried as well as concerned so you shook your head shivering and whisper "just get rid of her and why the heck is she wearing your colours?!" He shrugs and doesn't look happy about it. But changes into his Asgardian clothes Thor as well and you say "hey, don't forget about me?" He nods and you get changed into your Asgardian clothes and exhale in relief "this feels so much better than those Midgardian clothes.
Thor says to the women "I'm Thor Odinson" she comments "you don't look like him" Loki says "can we come to an arrangement" she comments "you sound like him" she says "kneel" Loki looks taken aback and says "beg your pardon?" Hela takes out necro swords and says "kneel before your queen" Thor throws Mjolnir at her which ends up being a bad idea because Hela destroys Mjolnir sending you and Loki backward, Loki obviously didn't put much thought into it but yells "bring us back!"
Thor shouts "NO!" But it was too late you were all already picked up by the Bifrost, Loki throws a dagger at Hela but she avoids it and sends it to you and Loki knocking you out, you land in a pile of trash and when you get up your furious and snap at Loki "YOU IDIOT, YOU ASSHOLE! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU DID?! YOU'VE DOOMED US ALL AND NOW THIS CHILD IS GOING TO BE BORN IN A PLANET FULL OF TRASH!"
Loki gulps and suddenly you feel like you were dunked in ice-cold water over and over again you were short on air it felt so you gasped and said "crap!" Loki looked worried and ask "no, no your not in labour, are you?!" You shake your head and he puts his hand on your stomach feeling the coldness you felt frozen, he grabs the bottom part of your top half of the dress and asks "may I?" You nod weakly he lofts it and shoves the bottom of it down slightly and he looks in horror as he sees that you have a bunch of burns and asks worriedly "is the baby doing this to you?!" You nod weakly and he says "we shouldn't have kept the baby! I knew it was all bad idea! It's killing you inside and out!"
You black out and Loki catches you just in time you get colder and colder, soon your pulse drops and your breathing slows tears prick at Loki's eyes and he says "no, no, no [Name], no you can't die! [Name] please no... I can't live without you, you mean the world to me! I need you... And our child, please..."
Loki shakes you and says "[Name]... Wake up, stay with me!" Loki sees the giant and weird building thinking I'll be able to heal [Name], there, it's not safe here.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::time skip:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
You woke up and were engulfed in a tight embrace and looked to see Loki hugging him back, he kissed your cheek which surprised you and he knew it did so he asks "what's wrong?" You reply"its just that, you haven't exactly shown me ANY affection, for about a year or so, you haven't really given a shit about me for years or a year" Loki pulls you into his chest and says "I'm sorry about that" you reply "Loki, its fine" he replies "no it isn't and I know it."
You felt like you weren't carrying any extra weight so you say worriedly "NO, NO, WHERE IS THE BABY?!" Loki stops hugging you and says "calm down" he puts a hand on your stomach and says "right there, the baby is healthy and doing good" you sigh in relief and ask "where the heck are we though?" Loki replies "a place called Sakaar, its owned by a lunatic called 'the Grandmaster' he's an idiot, it was really easy to get in here," you ask "what did you have to do?"
Loki replies "well, I can persuade people you know and deceive them it was really easy, so almost nothing, just my persuasion" you reply "good, because I was thinking you'd try to kill him or threaten to" Loki chuckles "oh no, I wouldn't go that far right off the bat, besides I can lie my way out if I want to" you pull Loki into a hug and he wraps his arms around you tightly in a loving embrace, you kiss his cheek.
You stop hugging Loki and get up but he forces you back down and says "no, you need to rest, I've only just healed, your frostbite," you say "Loki, DONT order me around, you know I hate it and I can have a short temper and that'll just make me angry again, I don't mind it in bed but not otherwise" he smirks and says in that silky voice you loved "I know you do, my sweet" you giggle and say "stop, that Loki!"
He chuckles "alright I'll stop" you give Loki a peck on the lips and he smiles "I was so worried that you wouldn't live, never do that again, ok?" You reply "I won't don't worry and I didn't mean to worry you" Loki replies "I know but you did" you lift your top slightly and your eyes widen "it's completely healed" Loki replies "that's because I healed you to the best of my ability," you ask "were, you here the whole time?" Loki replies "yes I was, I didn't want to leave your side, especially in an unfamiliar place and... I was worried about you and the baby."
You smile slightly "I guess you do care" Loki replies "I've always cared, I'm just a bit of a fool sometimes" you lift a brow "sometimes? And just a bit?" Loki replies "don't push it" you reply "ok" you put Loki's hand on your stomach and the baby moves against his touch he smiles and says "our, little gift" you smile and nod he kisses the top of your hand and you ask "when are we gonna tell Thor?" Loki shrugs "I guess if he's alive whenever we think it's the right time, or he'll just see it right away" you nod and Loki says "you know, we haven't actually started thinking of names for the baby."
You reply "no, we haven't," Loki asks "want to?" You reply "of, course I do if you do as well that is?" Loki replies "I wouldn't have suggested it otherwise"

The whole story
Hello there!
I have a bit of an interesting story, well its interesting for me ^-^
So a couple of months ago I did an internship at a computer store.
The first day, I was really nervous, but I had no idea what was waiting for me.
My internship mentor was absent and he was being replaced by a handsome, funny, smart man. Little did I know I was going to fall in love with this man.
The more I spent time with him, the more I started to realise that we were perfect for each other. Altho I had no idea if he liked me. He was really nice and flirty. But for all I know that could've been his personality.
The internship lasted two weeks and the last day of him being my mentor (I will call him "G", because this story will go on for a while) I got really scared that I would never see him again. I mean I met the man of my dreams and the thought of just letting him go was terrifying. I could've asked him out but I'm quite shy. So I just added him on Facebook like the "hip" people do...
At first I was scared to press the button. Maybe he'd be creeped out. But I thought to myself, what do I have to lose?
He added me. It only took him 20 ish minutes. But I was too scared to chat with him.
It was the last day of my internship. And I realised I forgot to give G my internship papers. And he wasn't there. So I gave the papers to a colleague of him. In hope I would be able to come pick them up later. It was like mid day and I didn't really have a lot to do. And I noticed on the security cameras that G was in the story. Taking care of some paperwork. I was too scared to tell a colleague of his. And he was just about to leave. And then to my surprise the colleague stood up and noticed him. And he came to fill in the papers. We flirted a little and I was preparing to say goodbye forever.. 😭 And he left. The last day was coming to an end and I told his colleague thank you and asked him to tell G thank you.
The Sunday passed and I just tried forgetting about him.
It was Monday back at school. Lunch break. I was just chatting with my friends, not really thinking about him.
My phone buzzed. It was him. I was just in the middle of a story I was telling my friends and I just went quiet. The message was short and really professional.
Just saying he hoped I learned a lot and good luck at school.
And I just took my chance of having a decent conversation with him. We chatted back an forward for about a week or two. Just normal conversation. I apologised a lot for being annoying and he never really seemed to mind, some texts were flirty but I still felt like I was being a burden.
The next Saturday, the conversation became more personal, talking about like parents divorcing and stuff.
I went to work that evening. Working in a restaurant. We texted a little while working and when I got off work it was quite late and he was still up. I said that it was cold and I wish he was there and he said he was quite far away "maybe next time"
(Also I found out a day prior that he lived really close to me)
So the conversation came to an end as he had to drive home. I waited about an hour for my tram and thought about him the entire ride home. I was just walking the last 5 minutes home. And it was dark. No cars to be spotted. I was just entering my street and I see a car in the distance. I didn't think anything of it I live in a busy street. I was just listening to music. Kinda distracted. It was a dark car. The car passed me. I couldn't really see the driver the street light were quite bright. So I just ignored it. I walk along. I could hear the car stopping at the end of the street. The car turned around and he opened the window.
There he was. He smiled. His bright green eyes sparkled and we talked a bit. We were standing in the middle of the street. He offered me a ride home but we were so close it would've been useless.
I went home smiling like a fool.
We texted for a bit after that and then we both went to bed. I felt happy.
We continue to talk daily for I don't know how long. A few weeks. I flirted a lot. And I always assumed he flirted back but there was always a question mark as to how he felt about me. But one thing I knew for sure is that he wanted to be my friend and that he cared about me.
One day, I went for fries with my family and I jokingly asked him if he wanted to tag along. He said he wanted to but he was quite busy... maybe a few minutes later he asked me if I wanted to meet up later.
I freaked "is this a date???"
But he wanted to play PokémonGO!
You know because we both liked the game and we were so cool and hip!
So I said yes.
I was really nervous. He asked me if we could meet at my house. I took a few minutes to reply and he said he was fine with meeting at mutual grounds first.
I didn't really care where, but it did made me think it could've been a date.
He texted me, that he was there. I came out the door and he went in for the cheek kiss. I went in for the hug. It was quite awkward. We didn't really end up playing PokémonGO!
We went for ice cream and talked. It was so much fun. He opened the car door. He offered me his jacket when I was cold. And he dropped me off at my door and waited till I was safe inside. It felt like a date to me. But it was more like friends.
I wasn't really used to guys being nice like that without wanting more.
It was fun. Two weeks passed we still talked everyday and this time I asked him if he wanted to do something and we went to a convention, a bit like comic con but in my country; fun fact, Nathan Fillion was there ;)
It was fun, I found out some thing like he stalked me on Facebook. The day was quite nice for a while but it felt weird. Like he was scared of something. It was ending and he asked if I wanted to come with him to his mother because It was on the way home. His mother was really nice. It was fun. But still something didn't feel right.
He dropped me off home and we gave a long hug. And that was that.
I felt confused.
A couple of days later. I confronted him thru text and he asked me what we were and he said that he thought we were friends for now. And I was kinda pissed off and confused. And I was like "thanks for friend-zoning me"
He didn't really reply.
And I got upset and he was like I'm sorry but you are too young for more.
What you need to know he's 25, I'm 17. I understand that but I just felt like we had a spark
I cried myself to sleep that night.
We decided to stay friends, but I was determined to keep trying.
2 weeks passed he asked me out again. Which was kinda confusing since he turned me down.
We didn't know what to do. So I jokingly said we could go for a walk in the woods. It was so much fun. We say down on tree and we talked and watched the stars. Sat really close it felt really romantic. I knew something didn't really add up.
It was dark and we couldn't really see a lot. To be safe we held hands.
What was weird tho. Even the moment we could see again. He just kept holding my hand. And again he dropped me off home again. And he gave me a hug.
And then we just kept talking every day. You need to know, there isn't one day I didn't talk to him. Since that Monday.
Anyways. I asked him out again. There was this festival in our town. And he said we could go for sushi and eat it up at his place. Since his parents weren't home.
We ate sushi and laughed a lot. We sat on his couch and cuddled for a bit. I didn't really comprehend that we were no longer "just friends" till a specific moment. We went to his room. To get something I don't really remember what. I sat down on his bed and He sat next to me. And we both just kinda lied down.
And just lied there staring at each other. It was quite intense. We tend to do that quite a lot. Just staring into each others eyes not saying a word.
I asked him for a hug and we held each other on the bed tightly and It was all quite the blur and then he had his lips on mine. And we just started kissing. And making out it was really hot and we ended missing the festival. We didn't do anything "dirty" but the making out was amazing. And then again. He dropped me off home. But this time with a kiss and not with a hug.
I was so happy but I was afraid. I was scared that it was just a fling. But the Saturday after that he asked me out on a serious fancy date and that night in the car I asked him if we were serious and yes we are officially dating.
And he has said multiple times that I'm the one and that we are soulmates and we are. We have thought about marrying we have gone on a date every week and I met his family and he is yet to meet my family.
He introduces me to friend we got to parties together.
He is the one.
He is amazing.
But Ive been terrified of losing him. We're so similar yet he's way out of my league.
He's the kinda guy who wears fashionable clothes, his dad is a lawyer, he plays golf. He is so together and I'm a mess. But he loves me. He has said it. I'm his hot mess. And we are going to spend forever together I'm sure of it. Age does not matter. He tried to wait but he couldn't. Everyone knows about us and everyone is okay with it.
Sorry for the bad english. And the age of consent is 16 in my country so don't be worried. We know what we are doing!
Thanks for reading.
Feel free to give an opinion.
