I currently had a fixation for Smiling Critters from Poppy Playtime Chapter 3, so I have decided that I wanted to make some Smiling Critters OCs. The first one being Genie Shepherd!

A hiker, clearly shaken, enters a remote English village pub, his clothes all torn and he's full of scratches.
"You won't believe this," he says to the bartender. "I was attacked by a leopard!"
"Really?"
"Yes! A leopard! In England!" The hiker sits down and orders the strongest liquor they've got. "I tried to run, but it was if course much faster than me."
The hiker gets his glass, empties it, and asks for another. "It sent me to the ground with a mighty push from its paws, but weirdly enough it then just gave me a really sad look and left."
"Ah, you met Father Andrews," the bartender says, matter-of-factly.
"What do you mean?" asks the tourist, confused.
"Father Andrews was our priest. A truly kind-hearted man, loved by all. His only goal in life was to serve his congregation as well as he could. So when he one day found a lamp with a genie, his very first wish was to be a loving shepherd to the community."
"That's nice "
"Absolutely, if only he hadn't been so prone to spoonerisms."

[My final original species of protean, this time embodying plate tectonics as a manifestation of change. I knew I wanted to do a continental drift-themed protean, and this was one of the first art pieces I found when embarking on this project. As a reminder, all of my protean species have a name that's an anagram. I'll be posting the solutions to those at the end of the week.]

CR 19 CN Outsider (extraplanar)
This massive creature appears like a snake with a humanoid torso, its body composed of black volcanic rock. A snort hood grows between its head and neck, and a pair of horns like bent stalagmites grows from its head. It shimmers with heat.
A renegwe is a protean devoted to some of the most dramatic changes in the cosmos—plate tectonics. Renegwes are the shepherds of whole continents, observing them move over the course of thousands or millions of years, and steering them if their whims dictate they speed up or slow down. Rather than the immediate thrills of transforming a person into an animal, or the destruction of killing enemies and overthrowing governments, renegwes prefer the gradual pleasures of growing mountains, eroding canyons and rock formation. That is not to say that they cannot be dramatic—a renegwe who grows bored with a landmass’ progress might start earthquakes with magic, or heat up a lava reservoir to re-activate a dormant volcano.
Few renegwes care much about the short lives of humanoids directly, but may become territorial of particular mineral deposits and protect them from mining or other exploitation. They might also come into conflict with magical creatures that seek to stop or mitigate the destruction their earthquakes and volcanoes engender. A renegwe prefers to fight atop or within a solid surface—although they can fly, they feel much more comfortable when touching earth or stone. Renegwes spew lava from their mouths and can fire exploding boulders from their hands. They have relatively few spell-like abilities compared to other proteans, and prefer simple melee tactics to pitched battles at a distance.
Renegwes are more common outside the Maelstrom than in it. They dwell mostly deep underground on planets of the Material Planes, or in places where the Planes of Earth and Fire overlap. From these magma-rich bastions, they may plot against the shaitans and efreeti—both of these genies types are lawful, and seek to impose order where the renegwes prefer chaos. Renegwes are natural allies of magma dragons, but these allegiances may be fractious and marked by power struggles. Few renegwes have much interest in the politics of the protean choirs, but may work for a given protean lord on a temporary basis when their interests overlap. The protean lord most sympathetic to the renegwes is Etna, herself a being of volcanic power.

Breath Weapon (Su) Any creature that takes damage from a renegwe’s breath weapon is coated in lava, taking 10d6 points of fire damage for the next 1d3 rounds (no save).
Change Shape (Su) A renegwe can change shape at will, but does not gain the healing from changing shape as is typical for proteans. It can only assume the form of dragons or elementals with the earth or fire subtypes.
Earth Mastery (Ex) When both a renegwe and its opponent are touching the ground, the renegwe gains a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls.
Fiery Body (Ex) A renegwe’s body is blazing hot. It deals 2d6 points of fire damage with all of its natural attacks, and any creature striking it with a melee touch attack, natural weapon or unarmed strike takes 2d6 points of fire damage.
Lava Bombs (Su) As a standard action, a renegwe can fire two lava bombs, one from each hand. Each lava bomb is treated as a ranged touch attack with a range of 200 feet and no range incremenent. A creature struck takes 4d6 points of bludgeoning damage and 2d6 fire, and then the lava bomb explodes, dealing 10d6 points of fire damage in a 40 foot radius (Reflex DC 29 half). If a creature is in the radius of both lava bombs, it makes a single save at a -4 penalty, and treats the fire damage as coming from a single source. A renegwe can use its lava bombs once every 1d4 rounds. The save DC is Charisma based.

Met a water/river spirit… by introducing himself to it

Starts to try and tell a vampire named Josh his life story some highlights include: ‘My name is Shepard, I’m from Omaha’ and ‘My parents are divorced, how about you’
Tried to warn Josh the vampire that drinking his blood is a really really bad idea
Promptly kills that vampire when the vampire tried.

top 5 subclasses by popularity
to no one's surprise, it's battlemaster fighter at the top with 10. i get why people pick it--it's the archetypal fighter, gives you unique martial abilities that you can't replicate with another class, and multiclasses well. the fact that it's 62.5% of all of the fighters is a little crazy.
next up is inquisitive rogue, with 5. a significant difference from battlemaster, but still a good number. we've had several seasons where an inquisitive rogue is absolutely necessary for plot progression (tiny heist and mice & murder, anyone?) so it makes sense that it's popular.
in third we have a few tied: berserker barbarian, lore bard, devotion paladin, arcane trickster rogue, and mastermind rogue all have 4. the rogues make sense just due to the number of rogue heavy seasons we've had. berserker barb and lore bard both serve a similar role among their respective classes' subclasses; they are often the simplest choice to play with and offer good options through level progression without needing to optimize too much. devotion paladin is also a solid choice, but it's 4/6 of all d20 paladins (including ricky matsui).
in fourth we again have a few ties: circle of the shepherd druid, gloomstalker ranger, and shadow sorcerer with 3. similar deal to the paladins--they're solid choices, but make up a major portion of the d20 characters of their respective classes. 3/5 druids, 3/7 rangers, and 3/8 sorcerers. 2 of the druids are just erika ishii.
in fifth we're tying up a bunch: ancestral guardian barbarian, totem warrior barbarian, whispers bard, eloquence bard, city cleric, tempest cleric, arcane archer fighter, way of the shadow monk, redemption paladin, beastmaster ranger, assassin rogue, swashbuckler rogue, and storm sorcerer (sorceress, really, for saccharina and sam nightingale). this is where we start to see a wider range of subclasses, many of which are multiclassed

Then I can live out a character's WHOLE journey and pop right back in time for lunch LOL.

What are some little things your characters do to influence someone’s day?
First of all thank you. I so really get anyone showing even a modicum of interest in my oc. It is even so rarer for me to get any asks about them. So I wanted to take my time an really think about this.
For Marcel is is small acts of care. He noticed you passed out on a chair he will put a blanket over you to keep you warm, putting a pillow under your head so your neck dose not get still. He sees you completely adsorbed in a taste you are attempting, will quietly bring you a nice cup of tea and some fresh picked strawberries to help refresh you.
Marcel will also subtly cast little healing spells on you if your around him enough. Spells that help fight off colds, alleviate small aches and pains and prevent headaches.
Niphorbis prefers that people never really know he is influencing someone. A breeze that blows some of your paper down a ally the leads you to a shop that has what your looking for. A kind stranger with a antidot about something that might be relevant to you.
Molycap gives you a Saporling.
Dillon's influencing happens in dreams as he shapes the world around you, making sure they are happy and peaceful so you get a good night sleep.
Angelique will often hum or sing softly if she noticed that those around her are stressed. Her voice is magical and can have a soothing effect on others.
If Ozmander sees your upset or struggling with something he will pull up his pants and engage in grandpa mode. He will ask you to come train with him, letting you work out your frustration in a heathy way.
Shepheard is all about influencing you to be a better version of yourself, he dose this subtly threw his magic. Being a genie Shepherd can manifest the want and desires of others threw his magic. But in classic genie fashion desires Shepherd grants always come with a catch. Never in a way that actively endangers you but that challenges your understanding of what it is you really desires and what will make you happy.

I thought it was going to take much longer to work out what I want to do with Shepard's rework but then last night a friend showed me this image of a genie looking individual and my mind started raising.
Shepherd is now a demon genie who travels the multiverse, feeding off the repressed desires of the lost, the lonely and depressed. But he is not a malevolent being praying upon the venerable, Shepherd is here to try and free them of the burdens that weigh upon their souls. He is the warm hand to hold in your finale moments, the shoulder to leant on when your weak, the voice of reason to your swirling thoughts.
When asked why he dose this Shepheard respond is:
"I have served many Masters and used my power to fulfill every pretty desire of wealth, power and vengeance you could think of. It pains me to watch such beautiful short lives waisted on such empty pursuits.
For in my service to the wants of others, I have come to learn that only one thing has ant true value and only one thing matters.
Time is the only thing that has value for it is the one thing we can not have more of. Time not spent with a loved one is time that can never be spent again, and even those that desperately shovel sand into their hour glass must face the day when it runs dry.
And the only thing that matter is happiness. For what is the poupous of sitting upon a throne of gold overlooking the world if it dose not make you happy. Better to be the farmer who goes to bed every night with a smile on his lips and joy in his heart, then a king in a bed of misery."
Oh neat, sounds like an interesting concept! Will his colors be changing up too? And I know he was originally a demon but what makes a him a demon in this genie/djinn version (totally can be just because you want to, I’m just curious since his goals seem… friendlier? Than what a demon’s goals typically are)
Sounds like a lot to play around with though!

Hollywood is well known for the badass films it brings for the audience. From the use of VFX to simplicity, Hollywood films have a plenty of them. Both critically acclaimed and economically super strong films are common in Hollywood.
The Hollywood films have excelled in all genres – from horror to comedy, from action to love stories and from adventures to sci-fi, all these have managed to make the watchers happy. And, also animation films are successful in the list too. We must have heard about The Toy Story series, The Ice Age film series and many more, which have made a place in the hearts of the kids as well as the adults.
The animation films of Hollywood are so awesome that the income they do is far more than what is expected from those. Even critics are happy with the story and plot of these.
In this article, I am going to list Top 10 Hollywood Animation movies which should be in your watch list for this week. And these are listed by the movie reviewing site IMDb. Go check out all these films. I will provide you the trailer link and also the rating according to IMDb.

10. Wreck-it Ralph (2012)
This animation film by Walt Disney has a very successful running in the industry. In the plot, it’s all about video games. We know a villain is hated everywhere. So is our lead character Ralph, who’s negative in a video game. But he feels bad of being bad when he’s not invited to the success party of the game and decides to become a hero. So he enters another game to win a medal and prove himself, but messes everything up by putting his whole arcade world in danger. What happens next? Check out yourself.
Rating – 7.7/10
9. The Emperor’s New Groove (2000)
This one’s the creation of our favorite Disney again. It’s the story of a vain emperor Kuzco, who’s a very busy man. He has an administrator Yzma, who he finds suspicious and fires from the job. He plans to build a water park for himself on his birthday but needs to remove a village of his empire to do so. In the meanwhile, Yzma plans to have his revenge and dethrone Kuzco and transforms him to some sort of genie on an attack. To know what happens to Kuzco, his throne and his water park, watch the film.

8. Tangled (2010)
One more from our Disney folks. In the story, a young princess Rapunzel gains the magical power of a flower which heals aging, and to stay young, he stepmother captivates her in a tower. Rapunzel spends her entire childhood in the tower, but as she becomes a teenager, her curiosity about the outer world increases. To her aid, a bandit comes to her tower and is held captive by her. She deals with him to release him if he becomes his guide in the outer world. She’s about to experience the most amazing things in the outer world. How? Find the answers yourself.

7. Bolt (2008)
An animal-based movie, but an awesome one. In the plot, Bolt is ah American Shepherd, who’s an artist in a superhero show on TV. Since spending nearly his whole life on the sets, he feels that he has superpowers. But he gets separated from his studio due to an accident. The film is then about Bolt’s journey back home, and on the way, he meets Mittens, a demand alley cat, and a hamster Rhino, who make him realize that he’s no superhero and that the TV show is a fake one.

6. The Kung-Fu Panda series (2008, 2011, 2016)
This film series is at the top in my list, and there’s a valid reason. This one contains a mix of humour, action, suspense and emotion, all of them. This I’d the story about a panda named Po whose parents were killed by the villain when he was a baby. The three films say the story of him growing up, learning Kung-Fu and becoming the Dragon Warrior, ultimately defeating all the villains. This series is an awesome one. I personally request you to watch these.

5. The Adventures of Tintin (2011)
This story is about Intrepid Reporter Tintin, who buys a ship named Unicorn for a big price. As soon as he buys it, the villain of the film Mr. Sakharine, voiced by Daniel “James Bond” Craig becomes eager to buy it from him, going to the extent of kidnapping him – along with his dog Snowy – and murder him. Tintin goes deep into it thus finding they the ship was house to a big treasure of the ancestors of his Captain, Haddock. The story is about how Tintin, Snowy, and Haddock save the treasure from going into wrong hands.

4. Monster House (2006)
This one’s got a lot of horrors and a bunch of comedy. This story is about friends who live in the same colony. Their neighbor is an old man who lives in an old house and is a little creepy. Soon he dies of a heart attack and the children think the danger is over. But, the old man’s house had some other plans. They find out that the house is a living monster who would eat any child who goes trick-or-treating there. The only way to stop the house is to go inside it. See his they do it.

3. The Princess and the Frog (2009)
This is the modern version of the old story of the Frog Prince. In this version, it’s about a hotel waitress Tiana who dreams of one day owning the hotel. Thus she sets on a journey to find a prince, Prince Naveen who had been transformed into a frog by a wild voodoo. She vows to re-transform him into a prince and asking him for the hotel. But she has a lot of problems to face after she kisses him.

2. Cars (2006)
Finally a film different from humans and animals. Cars is a film about a racing car, Lightning McQueen, who is traveling to California for the final race of Piston Cup but gets caught in the small city of Radiator Springs, where he is sentenced to rebuild the road he had damaged. After spending some time there, he realizes the true values of love, friendship and family and that life is not only about money and cups and fame.

The rest of the story is about how Merida learns what real bravery is on her way to cure her mother.

Just keep Swimming😉

Hello,
This is me! Probably this me is not in a great shape nowadays coz everything in my life is pretty fucked up. Everyone of you out there might not know me because of obvious reasons😏 I am hell of a normal person and not a celebrity, nor that I intend to become one someday.
As Mia said in the Princess Diaries- My expectation in life is to be invisible and I am good at it. Weird enough but I feel the same😊
As goes for my introduction, I am like any other normal engineer working at a 9 to 5 corporate job and successfully keeping myself frustrated throughout the weekdays. The chaotic corporate life and the tension to meet deadlines are the only hashtags in my life right now.
I am a software developer by post but sarcastic enough I don't like to write the hundred lines of code which I don't understand neither do I find interest in finding bugs in other's code. But anyways since life must go on and as was said by Dory in Finding Nemo -

Hence, am swimming in the sea of corporate people and waiting for my time to turn the tables atop.
I know right, some people can really give you complex through their work and you start all the more hating yourself. At the age of just 25 someone is the CEO, some a millionaire, someone is a great influencer on social media with millions of followers in their handles and here comes me, still trying to figure out how to drive my life. It's like I bought a new car (aka new career choice) and finding new lanes (aka new hobbies and interests) to reach the destination (aka to be a happy and satisfied), but in the end I come crashing down everytime when I try bending on to the bylanes required to reach my destination.
But even that is fine. Afterall, recently I was inspired from The Alchemist and every failures are to be counted as a step to success in disguise. Did the shepherd boy know that even after losing all his possessions and being in an entirely unknown region where no one seemed to speak the same language, he would be able to achieve his dream to go up till Egypt and discover the treasure on returning. As was narrated by the crystal merchant in The Alchemist (by Paulo Coelho) - 'Maktub' which means it's all written.
Well, well well! This seems a pretty lengthy description of my current situation and am happily gliding over or should I say trying hard to ski in the snow. I am sure will learn it on the go someday !
So, I decided to start writing and keep my daily thoughts in a confined place which I can deep dive on anytime.
Today as you can see was a overthought day full of digesting philosophical thoughts and promising on building new habits and resolutions.
Took a leave today, to contemplate about my life and that felt pretty amazing. You should definitely try talking to yourself more often, half of the problems get solved down the line. Good job R ! 😎
Went up to College Street today evening to buy some new books (both stories and studies). Those of you who are unaware of College Street - it's a vintage street in Kolkata full of book shops with books from all around the globe, you name the book, they will present it in front of you like a genie. Everytime I get to College Street, it's like you are diving in a sea of education with plethora of books and enthusiasts all around you. Feels good though, well spent evening !
Recently am hooked to the book 'It Ends with Us' by Colleen Hoover and I hope to finish the book as soon as I can as I can't hold on the ecstasy of starting with my new purchases.
I know quite a lengthy one, but it's my first blog you guys. It's quite a delirious fact for me 😋
