Flight
We can't fly,
But we can both close our eyes
And hold hands
When it storms, and
We can
Face it
In
Imagination.

I've been counting the days since I fell in love with you
And ever since,
My eyes have searched for you everywhere
I want your handsome face to be my view
In light & in dark,
Especially when I wake up and fall asleep in our bed
I am not sure how keep running into thee
Even sometimes alone,
But can't end the conversation in the phrase of three

Be clearly aware of the stars and infinity on high. Then life seems almost enchanted after all.
"Be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here."
What is human existence? It turns out it's pretty simple... We are dead stars, looking back up at the sky.
One day we'll be free of this weight we carry and then we will float up and touch the stars.
Everything's better under the stars, I suppose.
If we get another life after we die, I'll meet you there...
In some other life we are standing side by side
and laughing that, in some other life we are apart.
...and in the end I will seek you out
amongst the stars.

Wind-lust
I hear the whispers of the wind.
They say "Fall in love with me again".
I feel the kiss of its gentle breeze,
And all of my troubles are put at ease.
I've longed for the passion that the wind brings
And to hear the songs of life that it sings.
I'm helplessly filled with its lust for life
And fall in love with this gift from the sky.
The wind runs its fingers through my hair
And kisses my neck with a gentleness.
I hear the words of comfort in the air
As it shares with me its feelings of bliss.
I'll cherish the earth's every thoughtful exhale
And accept its breath with wanting desire.
I'll listen to its every passionate tale
And my ears, every whimper, will longingly admire.
I am enchanted by this ardent gale;
Enthralled by this force unseen, yet fair.
Its touch feels the texture of all living things,
Yet I feel its passion reach deep within.
There's a euphoria that it inspires
Each time I feel its gentle kiss,
And every time i hear the earth sigh,
My lust for its beauty is lovingly pleased.

My friends Trillian Stars & @kylecassidy are Kickstarting an art book, poetry book & Victorian zine to bring more awareness to flame-tressed Lizzie Siddal's own original, undersung poetry. You will even spy some Kambriel wardrobe within (like the lace-trimmed jacket above)! 🌹
The Elizabeth Siddal gothic pre-Raphaelite poetry book (which is getting even more sumptuously made as their Kickstarter grows!) will also be the first chance to see some of my hand-drawn floral illustrations in print ~ like this preview of stylized poppies from my personal sketch book:
The kickstarter can be found here:

I am in the middle of it: chaos and poetry; poetry and love and again, complete chaos. Pain, disorder, occasional clarity; and at the bottom of it all: only love; poetry. Sheer enchantment, fear, humiliation. It all comes with love.
