Nontraditional Baneful Work (1)
For the hardcore crystal witch:
Specific harm
On a very sunny day, write on paper: "[Name Of Enemy] will [experience a great misfortune] before [date]" or similar, or use a sigil. Take a sphere of quartz, hold above the paper, and allow the sun to stream through it until the victim's name is scorched from the paper.
Harm in love
Write their name on a slip of paper. On another, write "your/their heart will not find love", similar, or use a sigil. Wrap in cloth or tinfoil with a piece of rose quartz. Unwrap to release.
(Even if you do not cleanse your crystals, I would recommend doing so after using them as described above)
For the elemental witch:
General harm
Create a vial of strong sun water, then "corrupt" with a pinch of pepper or a splash of red dye. On paper, write the name of your victim, and cast them into the vial. Shake vigorously to expedite.
Productivity-related harm
Cast a small item taken from your victim into a vial of ocean water. They now feel as if they are drowning in their responsibilities. Pour out to release.
There are always alternatives to the risk of pickpocketing items on and off of people, but this is a method I have always had success with.
For the nature witch:
Long-term harm
Healthy acorns sink in water, while rotten ones will float (most of the time). Take a floating acorn and and whisper to it its purpose. Sneak it into your victim's belongings and let it take root.
Bad luck
Paint the name of your victim in water on a maple leaf. Place the maple leaf under the candlestick of a black candle and let burn for as long as you like. Negative energy, including that of any standing hexes against you, will be captured and sent on to your victim, even if they are its originator.
(All are based on my own research, practice, experience, and theory. I encourage you to modify these for your own use if I have inspired you.)

What is the symbol for spirit for the pentacle? I keep seeing it as either a circle or a circle with 8 lines in it and im so confused
Personally, I’ve only seen the circle. But from what I’ve gathered, the 8 lined circle is most likely a representative of the ‘dharmachakra’ which is a Buddhist symbol! It’s not my place to say whether you can use it or not or which is correct, hell I’ve never even spoken to a Buddhist. I’m actually the least qualified person to talk about this subject haha. However, personally, unless you’ve done a lot of research I would stick clear of using just to make sure you’re not appropriating anything. Besides, the plan circle works perfectly well for what it represents (balance, harmony, a completed cycle, unity, spirituality).
If anyone who is more educated than me has anything to add, I’d love to hear your input!

something ive been doing to feel more connected with the elements is choosing one at the beginning of my day to focus on. say if i chose fire—id dress in warm colors, wear related jewelry, light a lot of candles that day, appreciate the sun and spend time in its light, etc. it really helps me feel more in tune with them, and is pretty fun as well!

Encyclopedia of 5,000 Spells
Magic is the manipulation of earth’s naturally occurring powers in an attempt to provide the spell caster with the success and happiness they desire.
Magic power is inherent on earth. People didn’t create it, imagine it, or make it up. They learned how to use it. Magic spells are the result.
Elements of magic spells
Definitions of what constitutes a magic spell depends a lot on one’s personal history, experience, and cultural expectations.
What separates a magic spell from random series of actions is you, your intent, goals, and desires.
Before any spell is cast, the initial requirement is that you have a personal goal.
The more specific your desire, the more clearly you articulate your vision, the deeper your passion, the more likely it is that your spell will work.
Spell casting using the powers of the elements
The power of each element is unique, specific, and alive.
Air
Serves as a transmitter and a messenger.
Candles can summon the power of air: what is burned disappears into the air.
Air is associated with astral travel.
Earth
Our battery and generator, providing capacity for growth and solidity.
Spend time in the garden, barefoot whenever possible.
Earths magical power is accessed through the botanicals that are rooted in earth, figures formed from clay, and dirt itself.
Fire
The most independent of elements.
Heals, energizes, cleanses, and purifies.
Transformative and must be treated with respect.
Candles are the most popular form of fire magic.
Magic mirrors are sometimes used to access fires transformative powers
Water
The element most affiliated with magic.
The element of psychic power and intuitive knowledge.
Water spells are conducted in the bathtub and at the seashore.

I did a very empowering ritual tonight! Since there is some full moon energy going, I decided to do a ritual to help me cleanse negative energy that I've been harboring, I invited in good energy, and spoke aloud actions and behaviors I wanted to rid myself of. I focused on healing as well. I took a ritual bath before hand to help me feel cleansed and began the healing energy there. I also ended my ritual with sharing some red wine, and some mini cakes with the energies that were here with me tonight. (Excuse the mess in my room....I cleaned before doing the ritual, but I still have boxes and other items that I need to find a good place for soon.)

What element are you least familiar with?
I would say, of the traditional 4, I am least familiar with fire. I feel pretty strongly connected with earth and air (ironic since they are typically depicted as opposites) and work with them the most, followed by water.
So far I really only incorporate fire in my craft using candle magic, and occasionally burning sigils, and that’s about it. In the literal sense of the energy, I also melt easily in the heat (I prefer the cold) so that may be why it’s harder for me to connect 🫠 Though I do want to get better acquainted with solar energies, so that could be a route for connecting more strongly with fire! Thanks for the ask!

🌬️ Tornado/Hurricane Winds: Use to remove curses, banish abusers and bad habits, curses and to drive away negativity or gossip.
🌬️ Wind: Use to carry spell remains and energy away, carry messages to the universe, cleanse objects and people, speed up spells, or add a chaotic element to banishing spells.

A Hekatean Spell for Body Pain
This spell calls upon Hekate as Soteira - the Saviour, Einalia - of the Sea and Kratais - the Mighty or the Rocky, an epithet also connected to the sea. I've created it to deal better with my chronic pain, and I hope it can help some of you as well.
Tumblr media
Take a warm shower or at least wash your hands and face. If you cannot, lie down somewhere comfortable. Whatever you do, imagine water washing away your pain and filling you with strength to go. Try to not just visualize, but invoke the feeling. Engage your inner senses as much as you can in this act. Begin chanting:
Hekate, Hekate, Hekate,
Soteira, come to my aid.
Hekate, Hekate, Hekate,
Einalia, give me relief.
Hekate, Hekate, Hekate,
Kratais, come, send me your strength.
Chant - doing so, continue calling upon your imagination and, unless you really cannot use physical water, to wash yourself - as long as you find appropriate. When you feel better, say thank you.
