Seriously, before trusting some self-proclaimed spiritual expert or website to tell you what flavor of funky soul you supposedly have, please take the RAADS-R autism test.
If you have ever been told that you're "wise beyond your years" or have an "old soul," please take the RAADS-R autism test.
If you feel like you just don't belong, or feel drawn to nature, animals, space, or ancient history, please take the RAADS-R autism test.
If you often feel overwhelmed by negative energies, please take the RAADS-R autism test.
If you feel like you're not quite human, please take the RAADS-R autism test.
Seriously, please take the RAADS-R autism test before deciding to believe you're a starseed or angelic soul or whatever.
(Also, BTW, all that starseed stuff is inherently racist and ableist.)

Hi, how r u?
I am Libra too. I want to know how to manifest very close friends in my life. Lately I have been struggling. I have moved locations and I am just not finding close friends.
Thanks
Hi Friend!
Thanks for the ask, I appreciate it. I'm good but rather tired today :) How are you?
As for the main question, I want to be completely transparent: you cannot manifest close friends. You can manifest people who could potentially be close friends, you can manifest to help foster closeness with people but you can't just manifest a close friend. Becoming close with people is a lot of work (unfortunately) and we tend to forget that fact after having a bunch of close friends who you've known for years. You forget the work you put in to get to that point. This is a trap I fell into recently and it's hard to get out of. It's especially hard if you're working full time and have very limited ways to meet people.
Anyways, on to manifesting.
Like most things, manifesting won't work if you don't put in the effort. I recommend joining a few local facebook groups, discord servers, community organisations, etc. Another option is just reaching out to co-workers (or fellow classmates if you're in education). Talk to anyone and everyone you can. Get their socials, text them, hang out with them, etc.
Personally, I love affirmations, I think they're wonderful. Every morning and night when you're doing your skin care, brushing your hair/teeth, doing basic hygiene stuff, say some affirmations along the lines of "I open myself up to close friendship" "I connect with people easily and comfortably" "People want to be close friends with me" "I have a strong support network". Being open to what the universe throughs your way is super important. If you're into crystals you can carry around some crystals to help with the manifesting. I love a mix of rose quartz, clear quartz and blue lace agate for relationship based manifestations. Mediation is also a great way to manifest.
I hope this kind of helps. If you have any questions please let me know and i'll do my best to answer them.

🪽 Subtle Hermes Worship 📨
Keeping a journal of letters addressed to Hermes; you can also use a code name for him, such as "diary", if needed
Keeping a picture of him in your wallet
Collecting coins and shiny objects
Writing letters to friends or loved ones who live far away
Writing stories and poems
Having imagery of feathers, wings, turtles, or hares around (feathers and wings are especially good in a Christian household)
Having rabbit, turtle, sheep, hawk, or ram stuffed animals
Wearing jewelry that reminds you of him; a caduceus necklace is extremely easy to find online and is often associated with other things but is still a major symbol of Hermes
Having a candle that reminds you of him (no altar needed)
Dedicating any morning drinks to him (coffee, tea, energy drinks, etc.)
Participating in any sport
Making a list of jokes or quotes that make you laugh
Making a list of good memories
Watching comedians, live or online
Engaging in activities that bring you joy
Spending time with loved ones
Spending time with pets and bonding with them
Volunteering at a homeless or animal shelter
Honoring deceased loved ones, including pets
"Borrowing" things from big corporations
Setting money aside to save if/when possible
Exploring new places you've never been
Supporting small businesses
Taking a walk
Learning non-obvious forms of divination (cartomancy, shufflomancy, pyromancy, etc.)
Keeping a dream journal
Exercising if able
Creating something with your hands or imagination (writing, drawing, carving, something inventive and creative)
Donating items you no longer need
Buying a meal for someone who needs one
Showing kindness towards your fellow human
Making a list of things that made you happy throughout the day and that you're looking forward to
Carrying a good luck charm on you
Collecting souvenirs from new places, even just the next town over
-
May add more later! This is my list of discreet ways to worship Hermes, so far. Please enjoy, and take care! 🧡

☀️ Subtle Apollo Worship 🏹
Singing/listening to your favorite songs; this applies to any music, though
Listening to music while studying
Playing any instrument
Dedicating a journal to writing poetry or stories
Reading poetry books; reading ancient poetry/stories (especially ancient Greek poetry/stories)
Dancing to any music of your choice
Setting reminders to take medication on time; taking your medication in general
Taking care of your body physically, such as brushing one's teeth or taking a shower
Taking a walk on a sunny day; basking in the warmth of the light
Keeping a pic of him in your wallet
Wearing jewelry that reminds you of him
Keeping imagery of swans, cranes, or ravens around (swans and cranes might be a safer bet if in an evangelical household; ravens may be seen as "too dark")
Having sun imagery around (although he is not the Greek god of the sun, many associate him with the sun these days; he is officially a god of light, however)
Getting a wolf or dolphin stuffed animal (sacred animals of his)
Anything to do with positive and healthy self-wellness
Learning archery
Learning to do divination outside of the obvious (the obvious being tarot, runes, and pendulums, for example; not obvious would be cartomancy, pyromancy, carromancy, shufflomancy, etc.)
Doing homework (yes, really)
Being kind to yourself when you're having a difficult time
Placing positive affirmations on somewhere you'd see them everyday, especially ones about things you're proud of
Checking in with yourself emotionally throughout the day; how are you feeling? What are some good things that have happened so far? What are some not so good things?
Learning about philosophy and taking note of your thoughts on the topic
Learning more about yourself (e.g. make a list of things you enjoy, try new hobbies, experiment with new outfits, etc.)
Expressing yourself through art of any kind
Having a candle that reminds you of him (no altar needed)
-
May add more later! For now, this is my list of discreet ways to worship Apollo. I hope it helps someone, and take care, y'all! 🧡

What to do if witchcraft suddenly gets way too intense
1. FINISH WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
► DO NOT walk away from an uncompleted ritual
► DO NOT walk away in the middle of a spell
Grab your notes and close everything down. Dismiss any spirits or entities you are working with. Close down the circle. End the ritual. Diffuse the energy of the spell and close it down. If you were enchanting an item, announce over it that it is closed and nothing more may come in or out.
Spells and rituals are little portals of power; if you leave one open without closing it, all sorts of things could get screwy and come through.
2. End any spooky/witchy atmosphere immediately.
Blow out all the candles.
Put out all the incense.
Turn on all the lights.
Turn off spooky chanting music. Turn on some happy music or better yet, a non-supernatural television show or movie you love.
If you were enchanting an item, immediately put it in salt.
3. Don’t destroy the items/notes you will need later.
Trust me, do not throw away the spell you wrote or the objects you were working on. If things go wrong in the future you will need these to fix the problem.
► Immediately write down exactly what happened. Write down every deviation from the spell that you did. Write down exactly what you said and saw during any visualizations. Write down exactly when things started to get freaky.
► If you were enchanting an item, keep it in a black bag filled with salt until you are ready to deal with it.
4. Cleanse.
Use an energy cannonball to purify the space you were working in. Burn rosemary and bay leaves to fumigate the area, or spritz a premade water solution if you can’t have smoke. Pay special attention to all ritual tools.
If you feel the need to, cleanse yourself by visualizing the power of the smoke enveloping you and driving away any bad vibes; or take a shower if you really feel something has gone wrong.
5. Get out of the area you were working in.
Go to another room. Leave the house if possible. Seek the company of others or turn on the television if you are alone.
6. Do mundane things for a while.
Eat a nice meal. Drink a big glass of water. Go for a jog. Do some chores. Put anything magical totally out of your head. Absolutely do not focus on how weird things just got.
7. When you are ready, return to the area you were working in.
Relax yourself and judge the energies within the room. Are things still ‘creepy’? A heavy-duty cleansing is in order. Do you feel as if someone else is there? Open a window and command it to leave - if it does not, more fumigation or a banishing is required.
Judge your ritual tools and determine if they will need additional cleansing. If you were working on an object, determine if it has been corrupted or if anything is wrong with it. If so, put it back in the salt and deal with it as soon as you can.
8. Take a break from witchcraft for a couple of days.
9. Figure out what went wrong.
Fear is never a good thing. There is a difference between embracing the darkness and being afraid.
► Fear can be caused if an entity showed up you were unprepared to deal with.
► Fear can be caused if your intuition (or perhaps a spirit ally) was warning you that what you were about to do was a really bad idea.
► Fear can be caused if you tap in to powers that overwhelm you.
You need to figure out what went wrong. It isn’t a situation where you can say “oh well” and try something else later - because you screwed up, and next time you may not get an adequate warning before things go to hell.

Yes! Thank you so much for these additions. Rereading my response and the ask I definitely should’ve waited to answer after I had more sleep. I definitely agree that the ‘deity’ definitely is not a deity. I really appreciate the Wiccan resources, they’re great!
Hello! I've seen a bit of wiccan (?) things for a while, if I were to start I wouldn't even know how to start though. (my autistic ass does not leave the house and my mom would probably think it's weird to make strange concoctions of things) I also don't really know how deities work and how do you find out which one your communicating with? Tbh I've always felt like someone is around but whatever god it is seriously fucking hates me /hj Been better since I started medication but like the luck I have is 50/50 good bad and that is probably not normal. If you answer this it'd be very helpful.
Hi! Thanks for the ask!
I just want to start by defining a few terms for you :)
Wicca/Wiccan: A pagan religion that focuses on nature, magic and witchcraft. It was founded in the mid 20th century and Wiccans primarily worship 2 Gods which are personifications of nature.
Witch: Just a person who practices witchcraft. It's a non-gendered term and a non-religious term/practice. Not all witches are Wiccan but all Wiccans are witches. Witches can be absolutely anyone
Personally, I'm not Wiccan so I can't really tell you much about that but if there is one thing I know, it's witchcraft! There are many different places to start but I'm going to condense it down as much as humanly possible. It'll probably feel like a bit of information overload so just try to take it slow and relax. Enjoy the learning.
My favourite book for beginner witchcraft is 'Witchery: Embrace the Witch Within' by Juliet Diaz. She is a fantastic author and wonderful human. Everything about the basics of witchcraft you could need is in that book (imo). You should be able to find a pdf online if you can't get a physical copy.
As for youtube channels with solid content:
Harmony Nice: She covers everything Wicca. She has a playlist with all her Wiccan/witchy content witch is linked here
The Witch of Wonderlust: Olivia has been a favourite witchy youtuber of mine for a while. I wouldn't recommend jumping into her videos without any prior knowledge but once you have a grasp on the bare bones it should be okay. Here is a playlist she made with everything you could possibly need when beginning witchcraft. SOrt through the videos and see what peeks your interest.
The Hearth Witch: Another wonderful account if I remember correctly. Her videos used to be on the longer end (30-60mins) so if you have a short attention span then maybe not but she has a wealth of information.
I also recommend joining a few discord servers, following a few pages on tumblr just to get acquainted with the community and terminology.
Okay, on to the deity work situation. Deity work is generally considered more intermediate in the witchcraft community. key words being 'Deity WORK'. Worship is completely fair game. Setting up an altar, praying, leaving offerings, doing activities in devotion to the deity is absolutely something you can do relatively quickly.
As for IDing a deity, most people do it through 'divination' which is things like tarot, a pendulum, dice, bone throwing, and other ways. Most people also ask for signs that a specific deity is 'reaching out' to them or wants them to pay attention. You can also politely ask someone who is volunteering their time on tumblr or a discord server to find out for you via divination. If they don't say their doing free readings, obviously, don't ask.
Finally. luck is luck. It makes no sense for a literal God to hate a human. We all have periods of shitty luck and awesome luck! I wouldn't blame that on anything. Sometimes bad things just happen unfortunately. But sometimes amazing things also happen, even if it's just as small is finding 5 cents on the footpath.
That was so long. Congrats if you made it to the end because I nearly didn't when writing this. I hope this helped a bit. Feel free to reach out if you need a hand with anything. Thanks :)

Hello T! I hope you’re doing well:) I was wondering if I’m able to work with both Greek and Norse deities. I’m not quite sure how much you know on either subjects so if you aren’t able to answer my question that’s okay!! I’ve been doing research and it seems that there are many different opinions on this… I constantly have hades on my mind and I feel very drawn to him and the things that he likes but I’m also feeling a pull with Loki. I’m new to this but I’ve been putting it off for basically a year.
Hi! Thanks for the ask!
You can absolutely work with deities from both pantheons. It's become a really common pagan practice in modern times now that we aren't restricted by lack of information and other societal factors. I've found that it's actually more uncommon for people to stick to one pantheon funnily enough! There just isn't a whole lot of historical evidence so it isn't super easy to find reliable information on pantheon mixing. Generally, you just have to feel it out as you go. If you're worried about the Hades and Loki interacting or them sharing a general space you can always just ask them.
If you have a more specific question about anything feel free to shoot me a DM. I know that's all pretty vague but I hope this kinda helps :)

A deity having a domain over something commonly seen as bad or scary does not mean that deity is evil. Thanatos having a domain over peaceful death, for example, does not make him an evil, bad, or scary deity. Essentially, don't judge a book by its cover.

Yes yes yes yes!! Only get readings from people who you trust and if you’re worried ask the universe/God/your deities/etc got a sign. You shouldn’t leave a reading feeling like shit, generally you should feel less confused, like you know what was missing and that you have a way forward.
***This is a warning for beginners within paganism and witchcraft.***
-
Sometimes people will use divination to intentionally make you feel like shit. Some people will give you readings - of any kind - to make you doubt your deity relationships, your practice, and yourself. Unfortunately, these sorts of people will especially target others who seem to be struggling in their practice (especially emotionally) or are simply unsure/new. It's fucked up, but this is the trend I've noticed.
I have seen these sorts of deceitful, shitty divination readings fuck with people's emotions and even their deity relationships, simply because they were very new to their practice and believed someone "more experienced" knew better than them. I promise you that some random ass person online does not know your deity relationships better than you do, nor do they dictate what your relationships are like. Trust what you know to be true about your deity relationships first and foremost.
People can be cruel. People can be manipulative. People can project their own feelings about themselves onto you. Always, always, ALWAYS double-check readings that you're given if you can. Never ever take information at face-value, especially if it sounds out of place or directly contradicts information you know to be true for you.
People lie, and unfortunately, people hurt others with these lies. Divination is not the end all, be all of truthful information; trust your own judgement above some random person's reading. Be careful out there.
-
This is not to say every person handing out divination readings is out to get you; I'm specifically referencing people who wish to do others harm by weaponizing divination. Please do not think that every diviner is meaning to do you harm, as that's simply not true.

One of the things they don’t tell you when you first become a Hellenic polytheist is how often you’ll need to make Khernips (lustral water). My body is a little fucked up so I’ve been having nose bleeds everyday for the past few days meaning I have to make a new batch of khernips and cleanse myself everyday. I’m dying. Is it hard to make? No. But is it mildly irritating? Yes.
Tonight, I was finally going to pray, first time in a long while. I got through Hermes’ prayer, finished it and BOOM. The gods were like “no. Fuck you”
