That chronic illness feeling where you don't want to die soon, but the idea of spending another 60 or so years in this body makes you want to scream.

We live in a culture that enables abuse. Let's talk a little about boundaries, specifically consent. If it isn't an immediate, enthusiastic "yes!" it's a no. Yes every time. Yes outside of sexual encounters. Always. "Yes!" means yes. Anything else means no. "Eh not really" means no. "I'm busy" means no. "Maybe" means no. Assuming enthusiastic consent out of an apprehensive person is a recipe for disaster so do not do that under ANY circumstance thank you.

Life is hard and joy is fleeting. Normalize kid stuff. Normalize abiding youth. Normalize childless people shamelessly consuming kids media. Normalize parents shamelessly being into their kids faves. Because for example if you’re 25 you also have a 24 and 23 and 22 and 17 and 13 and 5 year old still inside you. Your past selves don’t just die. Look out for them. Don’t forget about them.
