Heaven’s Creation
Tumblr media
[Castiel x Female!Reader]
Synopsis: You’ve had abnormal dreams before and it wasn’t uncommon for you to stumble about odd situations in them. But, this time, it was different. He was different.
WC: 1,149
Category: Would you call this hurt/comfort?
This was more of a random plot that I created during my daily “stare at the ceiling at 3am” moments but uh… I finished it and it’s Castiel so… enjoy :)
You’ve always loved the rain at night. The way soft droplets tapped your windowsill, drifting into the infinite amount of puddles that lay about the grass. The bright flash that would gloss over your dark abyss of a room, following rumbles from above.
During your younger days, you’d pretend that it was God sending an Angel to watch over you. To help you sleep through the sleepless nights and through the heavy storms with thunder that would shake the house.
At times, you were scared of it, scared of what would follow in the dark, but you overcame it with the belief that a higher power — one with wings — was watching over you. Protecting you from danger.
Even when you grew older, wiser with age, you still believed it, despite others. You believed it because you wanted it to be true.
And so, it began. The night that changed everything.
It was a similar night as this one. The rain that poured out of the sky wasn’t heavy but it wasn’t silent either. It was prominent enough to bring drowsiness to your eyes. To take you to your haven, away from the stress of the real world.
Usually, you had dreamt of the beach. The bright blue sky matches the color of the water. The sun reflects itself into the sand, mimicking the same happiness as a child. The fish swam peacefully as people gathered around to play beach volleyball.
This time, however, was inconsistent. You woke up in a strange place. A dark place. The flooring and the walls were all wood, with mold within the cracks. Spider webs were in every corner with dust on every shelf. The place brought you unease as you silently explored with your eyes, not daring to move an inch.
Just as you turned your glance toward a fogged-out window, you heard a name. Your name. It was soft, like a whisper, but the urgency in its tone made goosebumps crawl over your skin.
When you sought out the whisper, turning in confusion, you were met with eyes that were as blue as the southern sea. Eyes that sparkled like sapphires in the sunlight, despite being in such a dull environment.
They belonged to a man, a man you’d never seen in your dreams before. He was tall, taller than you at least, with dark fluffy hair that complimented his eyes. He was well-dressed, sporting a suit and tie with a trench coat that stopped just below the knees. The looseness of the coat on his shoulders gave him a more scrawny appearance, but something told you he was stronger than he appeared.
Your name fell from his lips again, as he stopped a few paces in front of you. His eyes were fixated on yours, causing an awkward smile to etch on your lips as you run your brain for a response.
However, the man didn’t give any opportunity for you to speak. “I apologize for the invasion of privacy.” He whispered, “I didn’t have many options given the amount of time I have.“
You looked at him blankly, only blinking at his words. Invasion of privacy? You were dreaming about someone invading your mind? What in the Inception is this?!
“So, you’re an invader of minds?” You finally replied, not sure what else there was to say.
He stared at you blankly, giving a little head tilt in response as if he were comprehending what you just said.
“I… uh, n-no.” He fumbled his words, “I’m an angel, Castiel, and I came to warn you.”
“Oh, okay… now I see why I’m—“
“You’re in danger.” He interrupted, causing you to halt in response. Your confused look made him sigh in response.
The man — Castiel as he named himself — looked over his shoulder in worry, glancing towards the bolted-up wooden doors, before turning back to you. “We don’t have much time.”
His eyes kept glancing at the doors like they were bound to swing open at any moment. The man made you nervous no doubt.
Could you die in dreams? It was a question he made you ponder. Still, you decided to entertain him with his claims. “Time for what?”
Then, as the apparent ‘angel’ suspected, the doors did open. They opened but nothing was there. You heard noises and conversations, but none of which were clear enough to comprehend.
When you turned back to Castiel, he promptly took you by your shoulders. Worry and panic were evident on his face as he hovered two fingers over your forehead. His eyes were staring into yours as he spoke to you. Well, more like ordered.
“Find Dean and Sam! Tell them I sent you, they’ll protect you.”
You were enchanted by the piercing blue in his eyes. For a dream, they seemed so surreal and inhuman. Yet, so natural. It felt… almost real.
You hadn’t realized he mentioned your name again. His fingers had lowered from you while his other hand was still firm on your shoulder, adding pressure that forced you to blink back into the present.
“We’ll meet again, most likely in a similar way.”
Finally, after what seemed like ages of staring into this man with nothing but confusion, you asked him a question. A simple, yet elaborate question.
“Is this actually real?”
He slowly nods, glancing behind him once more. “Very.”
“Why are you telling me all this?”
“You’re a future prophet of the lord and I’d like to keep it that way.”
Your eyebrows furrowed at his words. “Prophet of the Lord? You mean, God?”
“I’ll answer all your questions soon, but you have to go, now!” Castiel rose his fingers once more, hovering them over you. “Once you’re awake, leave your apartment. And remember, find the Winchesters. They’ll protect you while I’m away.”
You were going to respond to him, to ask how he knew about the apartment, but the dream was over in a snap. His fingers touched your forehead, making you feel tingly and lightheaded. Then you were home.
You were laying down, eyes facing the popcorn ceiling of your room. The rain was still active, lighter and calmer now but it was still there.
A part of you still believed it to be a dream, a wacky one at that, but the sincerity in the man’s tone… It made you get up in your pajamas, search for your car keys, and drive off.
And fortunately for your sake, you made the right call. You found your apartment in the news when you arrived at some diner for food. The building had crumbled beneath the seams, leaving nothing but debris and dust.
The shock and the terror that flowed through your body only turned into the repetition of what the man from your dream had told you.
“Find the Winchesters…” your mind replayed, “they’ll protect you while I’m away.”

The Couch / Dean Winchester
Tumblr media
summary: Dean and you had always harbored a fondness for each other, which became evident one night on Jody's couch when he found a way to express it during Jody's intervention at the dinner table.
ps: english isn't my first language so i apologize for any grammar errors
xo'
Jody had extended an invitation for dinner to the three of you. What neither of the boys knew was that this casual gathering swiftly transformed into an intervention, with Claire and Alex joining in. As you observed them enjoying the meal, a sense of unease crept in, heightened when Jody broached the topic of protection. Suddenly, Sam, Dean, and you found yourselves choking on your food, taken aback. "Um, excuse me?" Dean was the first to break the tense silence.
"You heard correctly," Jody's expression bore the gravity that none of you dared to challenge. With precision, she redirected the conversation to how she had stumbled upon unsettling items in Alex's bag. While acknowledging the discomfort of confronting such matters, being a girl also meant being privy to them, and a part of you felt relief knowing that Alex and Claire had Jody for these discussions—a resource you lacked.
In reality, it was Dean who helped you lose your virginity. "Helped" was an understatement; even in your mid-twenties, the notion of waiting for marriage felt long overdue. The memory was vivid: in the dead of night, with Sam in a deep slumber in the other side of the living room. Sleep eluded you, and with Dean nearby due to staying at Jody's, the proximity intensified. Coupled with your nearing ovulation, it was evident your libido was peaking. You were undeniably aroused, yet with the boys constantly present, suppressing any gesture or moan became a challenge, particularly when Dean's eyes cracked open slightly.
Dean observed the entire scene discreetly. He noticed your arm beneath the covers, your hips shifting, and your breath growing heavier. What he didn't realize was that he too felt the same arousal stirring within him. His shaft hardened, and he couldn't resist the urge to grasp it, seeking gratification in the moment. It was then that your eyes met, hesitation lingering before you confessed to him that you had never experienced sex before. To Dean's delight, he vowed to ensure that the experience would be memorable not just for him, but for you as well.
"Earth to Y/N," Claire's voice broke through your thoughts, prompting you to snap out of your reverie, cheeks flushing. A mischievous smirk played on Claire's lips as she continued, well aware of your distraction. "I think she was daydreaming," she teased, but you quickly shook off the implication, feeling Dean's gaze upon you. It was the same caring look he always gave, checking in to ensure your comfort, whether it was about speed or pace. Despite any imperfections in the method of 'protection,' Dean excelled at making you feel cherished. "You okay?" he asked, concern evident in his voice as his fingers lightly brushed your hand, offering a reassuring squeeze, to which you nodded in response.
"I'm sure she wasn't. Let's not deflect now. If we can't talk about it, maybe we shouldn't be doing it, right?" Your eyes widened at the question, inadvertently revealing your discomfort, while Dean nearly choked on his food again with a startled "What?" Despite not wanting to gross out Jody, he simply shrugged and glanced at you before continuing, "I mean..." Just as he was about to elaborate, Jody's eyes widened in realization, catching onto the unspoken understanding between the two of you. "Setting a good example!" she exclaimed, almost in a panic, prompting laughter from Alex, Claire, and Sam, who found the situation amusing. With Dean and you seated at the opposite end of the table, the awkwardness escalated. "And where was it?" Jody inquired, causing your muscles to tense as you recalled it took place right in this very house during one of Jody's trips. You nervously gulped, murmuring your answer while taking a sip of water, inadvertently prompting Jody to respond to the question herself.
But what she didn’t know was that whoever you had spent the night, was seating just next to you.
"On your couch..." Her expression morphed into one of disbelief, unaware that the lucky guy was actually present that evening. Despite her high expectations, she pressed on with another question. "Like a one-night stand? Or someone from work?" She almost seemed reluctant to hear the answer you were about to give. As if you were expecting to give one of those options to loosen her worry. Dean on the other, glanced at you a moment, signaling for you not to reveal it. Instead, he took the plunge and confessed. "Me."
First, Claire choked on her water, followed by Jody, their expressions a mix of uncertainty as she barely left her gaze at you. Especially from expressing you were in hope of waiting before marriage. But it was true. "It is true..." Your voice was soft, the kind of vulnerability that Dean cherished. It stirred something within him, turning him on immensely. He couldn't be prouder knowing that tonight, with that look on your face, you would be in for a delightful surprise.
"Well," Jody appeared somewhat taken aback once again, unsure of what to say next before redirecting her attention to Alex. "Please, for me. Don't follow their example, and for the love of god, don't end up on the couch either." There was a hint of obvious disapproval in her expression, eliciting chuckles from all of you as the conversation shifted back to hunting topics and other matters.
As everyone retired for the night, despite the slightly abrupt end to dinner, you managed to finish the meal Jody had graciously offered. She had invited the three of you to spend another night at her house, recognizing the need for rest after a morning hunt that warranted a good night's sleep. However, Dean had other plans brewing in his mind.
As you slipped into your gown, Sam settled into an actual bed—the one Jody had made sure you and Dean would sleep on. Dean's smirk was unmistakable as his gaze lingered on you while you attended to your last-minute night routine in the guest bathroom. "You know," his voice was husky, unable to tear himself away from your presence, a habit he adored observing. "Oh, I know that look," now it was your turn to gaze at him, rolling your eyes in an attempt to feign innocence at his remark. "But what if Jody..."
He chuckled, drawing closer to you with his arm enveloping your waist. Despite the temptation to kiss you once more and fully express his feelings, to officially declare you as his, he resisted. "Shhh," his thumb gently traced your bottom lip as he met your gaze, then glanced towards the couch. "Alright, cowboy. But don't make me have to silence myself."
“Oh don’t worry, darlin’ I’ll make sure you don’t.”

Tumblr media
You had been living with Dean for five weeks now, and everything felt surprisingly normal. You both woke up early in the morning for work, so you got to have breakfast together. You liked having someone to talk to before going to work.
It was five in the morning as you and Dean shuffled around the kitchen in a comfortable silence. You had made some eggs and bacon for the both of you while Dean got ready for work. Since Dean passed the coffee shop to get to work, he would drop you off, and in return, you made him coffee to get him ready for the day.
"Mornin' sweetheart." Dean grumbles as he comes out of his room, yawning. His hair was still tousled from sleep. You chuckle softly at the sight.
"Morning, Dean. Forget to brush your hair?" You snorted. Dean laughs as he smooths down his hair.
"Maybe I was trying out a new style, Y/n, ever think of that?" He sniffed, pretending to be mad.
"Aw, c'mon now, you never change up your routine, so I find that highly unlikely. And besides, you can't be mad at me forever, I made you breakfast." You set his plate down on the table, pouring a glass of orange juice for him.
"I got damn lucky to have you as a roommate." He sighed happily as he ruffles your hair before sitting down at the table, tucking into his breakfast.
"I could say the same." You smile as you eat with him. Storm was still asleep on the window seal. Despite Dean buying a cat bed for him to get into his good graces, the cat refused to actually sleep in the bed. He just sniffed at it before going back to what he was doing.
Once you and Dean were finished with breakfast, he took the plates and put them in the dishwasher, starting a load. You went and grabbed your apron for work before heading out the door with Dean, sliding into his beautiful Impala. "I hope you know that if I actually still drove, I'd totally wanna take Baby for a joyride." You joked.
Dean laughs softly, his eyes crinkling up at the edges. "You're more than welcome to drive her anytime you need, sweetheart. I won't stop you."
"Oh, um, nah." You shook your head gently. "I don't really drive anymore. I um, I got into a really bad car crash about a year ago and I don't really drive anymore because of it." It was the first time you had really talked about the car crash with anyone other than Jo or Jack.
"I'm sorry to hear about that sweetheart. Was everyone alright?" He frowns, looking over at you.
"Oh, um, yeah, I just had a broken arm. . . The other driver was okay too."
Dean could tell that you wanted to drop the subject. "So, I was thinking, you don't work tomorrow, right? And you're done with exams?"
"Yeah, why?" You tilt your head curiously.
"Well," Dean said as he pulled into the parking lot of Chuck's. "I was thinking that tonight we go to my favorite bar and have some drinks, my treat. They're having karaoke tonight too, and I think it would be a lot of fun."
You mulled it over for a moment. You didn't drink much, but you thought this would be a good chance to get to know Dean a little better and let loose some. "I think that'd be a lot of fun, actually." You give him a gentle smile.
"Perfect, I get off work tonight at 5. I'll pick you up and take you home on my lunch break, I don't want you walking home alone or anything." Dean gives you a boyish grin, the one that you had come to adore.
"Thanks, Dean, you have no idea how much I appreciate your kindness." And it was true. Dean was kind to you when it felt like you hit rock bottom. Being evicted from you apartment was rough, and you never expected him to offer his home up to you. Even though you hadn't known Dean long, you trusted him, and it seems that he trusted you. You hated to think about where you'd be without him right now.
"Don't mention it, sweetheart. I'm just glad I could help you out. I've been where you've been before. My life has never been put together in the slightest, and there was a time when I had no place to go. I really could have used some help, and I want to be that person for you." He said softly, looking over at you.
"Well, I know I'm not much, but I'm here, and I can be the support you need. We can help each other." You offer him a gentle smile.
"I like the sound of that, Y/n, thank you." You lean over and give him a quick hug.
"I'll see you on your lunch break, then. Let me go make your coffee really quick." You went in and unlocked the doors, making Dean a brown sugar latte and grabbed him a scone before bringing it out to him. "Have a good day at work." I reach through the window and ruffle his hair before heading back inside to tackle the day.
Jo was the next person scheduled to come in, and you hoped it was one of those rare days that she was actually on time. You had talked to her many times before about her punctuality, but it never seemed to stick with her. She was your best friend, and you didn't want to have to reprimand her, but it seemed that it was going to have to come to that. Thankfully, she was on time today, and you didn't have to say anything to her.
"Thank god my car started." She said as she walked in, clocking in on the computer. "I was scared she wasn't gonna crank. I really need a new car."
"Well, you're here, that's all that matters. Today's a Wednesday, so I'm expecting it to be a good day for us. This is usually our dead day, so I think it should be okay with just the two of us until eleven when Maddison comes in."
The day went off without a hitch, the customers were nice, it was a slow day, and everything seemed peaceful. That is, until the end of your shift. Dean was on his lunch break and he was waiting for you to clock out so he could take you home. He didn't mind hanging out in the coffee shop, as he found it rather peaceful. The front door dinged, signaling that there was a customer inside. "Hey, welcome to Chuck's! We'll be right w-" You broke off as you stared up at the man in front of you. Michael. You could feel your heart pounding out your chest as he glared down at you. You hadn't seen him in nearly two months, what made him want to come confront you now?
"We need to talk." He said gruffly, crossing his arms over his chest. He was 6'3 and he towered over you. It was something that had always intimidated you, especially when you were together.
"We have nothing to talk about. You need to leave." You tried to make your voice sound strong and determined, but it came out as just a small squeak. You hated the affect he had on you. For years he made you feel small, and even after the break up, he could still make you feel that way.
"Oh we have plenty to talk about, Y/n. Like how one day you just changed the locks to the apartment and had all of my stuff sitting out in the hall?"
"And you're just now wanting to talk about this, huh? You had nearly two months to reach out to me and to talk about this, but you picked now as the prime opportunity? When I'm at work?"
"Oh please," He scoffed. "You can hardly call this a job. Besides, I've been busy with other things." Dean's head perked up at the sound of arguing. He looked over at you and Michael. He could clearly tell you were in distress.
"Michael, just fucking leave. You're not welcomed here. Our relationship is over and there's absolutely nothing for us to talk about. You cheated, you were abusive, you were a shitty ass boyfriend. What else do you want me to say? I've listed a billion reasons as to why we broke up and you still can't accept that."
"Don't speak to me like that." He grabbed your wrist. "I guess I better teach you some manners." You try to pull away from his grasp. Before you could even shout for help, a fist connected with Michael's jaw.
Dean looked pissed as he grabbed Michael by the shirt, slamming him against the wall. "What kind of pathetic coward lays hands on a woman?" He growled as he punched him again. "Come near Y/n ever again, and I swear to God himself, there will not be anything stopping me from beating you within an inch of your sad life. Got it?!"
You had never seen Dean so angry before, let alone get physical with someone. "And what's it to you, huh?! Why the hell do you care for some whore so much? Oh, I get it, you're fucking her, huh?" Michael laughed, throwing his head back.
Dean said nothing in return as he punched him once more before throwing him out to door. "Don't ever come near her again." Dean snarled before going to check on you. "Are you alright? He didn't hurt you, did he? I swear to God-"
"Dean. . ." You hugged him tightly. "I'm okay, he didn't hurt me. . . Thank you for sticking up for me." You whisper, tears in your eyes. Maddison and Jo watched as Dean wrapped his arms around you protectively.
"No one's going to hurt my best girl on my watch, I promise you that." He said lowly, gently rubbing your back. "I'm guessing he's your ex boyfriend?"
"Yeah, he is. . . I thought I was finally free of him, but he keeps popping back up like an infectious disease." You were holding back tears, not wanting to cry in front of Dean.
"C'mon sweetheart, let's get out of here." He wrapped his arm around you and led you out to his car. "Do you need me to stay with you? I can tell Bobby something came up."
You shook your head gently. "No, that's okay. . . I don't want to impose. I'll be okay until you get off work tonight. . . Honestly, I don't even what to think about what just happened. And it doesn't even surprise me that he came here. I guess I was just hoping he'd forget about me." You ramble on, looking at your hands.
"You wouldn't be imposing, sugar." He said, his voice soft and gentle. "If you need me, I'm here, okay? There's not much goin' on at the shop today, so Bobby can afford to be on his own for the rest of the day."
You felt tears brim your eyes as you kept looking at your hands, refusing to look Dean in the eye. "I-I could use some company. . . If t-that's okay." You whispered quietly. Dean tilts your head up gently with his finger so you would look at him.
"I'll stay with you as long as you need, darlin'." He then surprised you by kissing your head. He was so caring and gentle with you, which was something you weren't used to. He drove back to the house, letting you pick the music for the drive. Once you got back, he called Bobby and explained the situation before following you inside. He grabbed some blankets and popped some popcorn. "So, what movie should we watch? Comedy, rom-com, action?"
"You really don't have to do this for me, Dean. . ." You felt like a burden. You made Dean call out of work just so he could sit here and watch a movie with you. You were an awful friend and roommate.
"You're right, I don't have to, but I want to. . . You're my best friend, Y/n, I want to make sure that you're okay. You've had a stressful day, and you need to unwind a bit. Plus, work was slow, wasn't much for me to do. I'd much rather sit here with my favorite girl and cheer her up." He sits down beside you, draping his arm on the back of the couch.
You leaned into his side, resting your head on his shoulder as you let the tears flow. "I-I just want to be rid of him. He never let's me have any peace."
"Shh," Dean whispered softly, running his fingers through your hair. "I'm here sweetheart. . . He won't hurt you as long as I'm around, okay?" He kissed your head again, making you feel comfort. Storm jumped up on the couch, settling himself in your lap, purring softly. "See, darlin'? Even Storm's here to help you." That made the tears stream down your face harder. It felt like you couldn't breathe. Everything that you had held in from the break up came bursting out all at once, despite your attempts at pushing it down. Dean held you in his arms as you cried. "Breathe, Y/n, I need you to breathe for me, okay?" He murmured gently. You tried to breathe, but it just came out as choked sobs. Your body was shaking as you cried. Dean let you know that he was here, and that you were safe. You knew he was right. Being in his arms was the safest place for you. You knew that Dean would never hurt you, and that he would do everything in his power to protect you.
Once you had calmed down, you found your voice. "Thank you for being here." Your voice was raw and hoarse from crying. Dean didn't mention it, he just smiled softly, kissing your temple.
"Of course, sweetheart. What are friends for?" He continued to run his fingers through your hair, as he could tell that's what was keeping you grounded. "We don't have to go out tonight, we can go some other time, I'm sure that you're tired after the day you've had."
You thought it over for a moment. "Actually, I think I still want to go out tonight. . . I just need to feel normal, and show that what he did doesn't get to me." You state confidently.
Dean grins at your confidence. "That's my girl." He let you get ready for your night out with him. You picked a pair faded ripped jeans from your draw, a black blouse, and a black leather jacket. You combed through your hair, trying to find a style you liked, eventually settling on having it braided. You came out of your room with a smile. Dean let out a low whistle as he saw you.
"You clean up nicely, darlin'." He grins. He was wearing a green flannel over a black shirt that fit him nicely and a pair of faded blue jeans. You couldn't help but smile at the compliment.
"Thanks, De. Shall we get going?" You grab you wallet as Dean grabs his keys.
"Let's go." He smiles, resting a hand on the small of your back as he leads you out the door. You were very aware of his hand against your back. But you shouldn't be thinking about that. Dean was your friend and roommate. You couldn't risk anything. You slid into the Impala as Dean going into the drivers seat. You grinned as the car roared to life. The car was absolutely gorgeous, and you'd love to have an old car like this. That is, if you still drove. Past pains rear its ugly head into your thoughts, making you think of things you wish you could forget. You push it aside. Tonight was about having fun with your best friend.
You showed the bouncer your ID and you were let into the bar with Dean. It was packed since it was karaoke night. You and Dean slid up to the bar, you ordered your favorite drink and Dean got a whiskey and coke. "So, ya thinking about gettin' up there and singing?" Dean smirked as he looked to you.
"Me? Nah, I can't really sing." You shrugged.
"One, that's bullshit. I hear you singing in the shower all the time and you sound amazing. And two, no one who sings karaoke can sing. I'll do it with you if you sing." He offered you up a smile. You could never resist that boyish smile he had.
"I hate you, I hope you know that." Despite your words, you couldn't help the smile that spread across your face.
"Say what you want sweetheart. But hey, you get to pick the song and I can't complain."
"Oh really?" You smirked. "So if I picked a Taylor Swift song, you wouldn't say anything?"
"Hey, I can get down with TSwizzle, okay?" Dean held up his hands in defense. You couldn't help the laughter that racked through your body.
"You did not just say TSwizzle-" You continued to laugh, Dean joining in.
"All I'm sayin' is that you can pick whatever song you like."
You went up to the karaoke machine, scrolling through until you found the perfect duet for you two. I Remember Everything by Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves. "We're up next." You grin as you pull Dean towards the stage. Dean followed you up on stage, grabbing the mic. "Ready?" Dean nods as the song starts. Despite having never heard the song, he did it justice. You never knew Dean could sing. When you sang your parts together, Dean smiled over at you, his eyes gleaming. Once the song was over, he helped you down from the stage.
"Y/n, you were amazing! I knew you had a good voice, but damn, that was beautiful." He praised you, gently patting your shoulder.
"Me? Dean, I had no idea you could sing like that. You were fantastic!" You gently punch his shoulder.
Dean chuckled softly, rubbing the back of his neck as the tip of his ears turn pink. "Thank you, sweetheart, I appreciate it." He grinned.
"Aaand I think that some of the girls over there found your singing attractive." You chuckled as you looked over to a group of girls that were eyeballing Dean. "You should go talk to them!" You encouraged.
"Nah," He shook his head. "This night is about you and me, and celebrating our friendship." He gave you a smile. You couldn't help the small butterflies you felt in your stomach. Instead of going off with a girl, he wanted to spend time with you. But at the same time, you felt bad, because you felt like you were keeping him from having a fun time.
You felt like screaming at yourself, because you always did this. Every time there was something good going in your life, you found a way to get in your head and overthink things. You wished you could turn those voices in your head off. Sometimes those voices got particularly loud, especially in times like these. You tried to push them away and have a good time with Dean, but you couldn't help it.
"You okay, Y/n? You got really quiet all of a sudden." Dean said softly. Damnit, he knew you too well.
"Oh, yeah, it's um, it's just been a long day, y'know?" You cleared your throat, looking up at him.
"We can head home if you'd like?" He suggested, tilting his head to the side.
"No no, I'd hate to be a bother. You look like you're having so much fun, and I don't want to ruin that." You spoke softly.
"Sweetheart, if you're tired or you just don't feel up to being here anymore, you can tell me. I won't be upset. I don't want you to feel uncomfortable or feel like you have to stay for my sake. Besides, I don't care where we are, as long as we're together, I'm happy to spend time with you."
You gave him a soft smile. "I just don't think I'm in the right headspace right now." You sighed. "It's just been a long day with a lot going on. . . I promise to make it up to you."
"Don't worry about it, Y/n, we can just spend some time together and watch a movie if you'd like?"
"I'd really like that, De. . . Thank you." You whispered gently. Dean ruffled your hair and went to pay for the tab. You rode home in a comfortable silence as Dean hummed along to the radio. You were stuck in your own head again, per usual. You were leaned against the window, feeling the cool glass on your cheek.
"Are you sure everything's alright, sweetheart?" He asked, looking over to you. "You've been awfully quiet."
"I dunno, I'm just really struggling mentally today. After everything that happened this afternoon, I just feel so. . . empty?"
"I get it darlin'. What do you need? Do you need some time by yourself, or do you wanna curl up on the couch with me and watch some Dr. Sexy MD?" He questioned, his voice gentle.
"I think that spending some time with you could help. . ." You couldn't help but smile. You felt safe with Dean, and even though you were having a tough time, you knew that everything was going to be okay as long as you were with him.

Rooftop
Pairing- jared padelecki x fem!reader
Summary- who knew a night on the rooftop would lead to finally confessing they're feeling for one another.
Warnings- pure fluff, crap writing 💀
Tumblr media
Jared and yn had known eachother for years. They were inseparable, they met through the show supernatural as yn's character happened to be sam and deans bestfriend. Throughout these times much laughter, secrets, and adventures had only maken they're bond stronger.
But there was something more between them, something neither were willing to admit, it wasn't the same friendship she had with jensen and misha, no, she was falling for him, but it was something neither was going to admit.
It was a warm summer night as the two found themselves on the rooftopnof Jared's apartment building, gazing out at the starts, talking about the show before falling into a comfortable silence.
The city lights painted the night sky on a soft romantic glow, making yn decide it was now or never.
She broke the silence by saying jared name as he looked over to her smiling a little.
"Yeah?"
"Jared, do you ever wonder what it would be like if we weren't just best friends?" she avoided eye contact as jared took a minute to go over what she said.
His heart was pounding out of his chest as he looked at her, coughing a little he spoke up, "whattdya mean."
He wanted to know what she meant before jumping to conclusions and getting his hopes up to high that the girl he had loved since he met her liked him back.
Her eyes twinkled on the moonlight, as she still avoided eye contact as much as she could, already regretting her decision.
But nether the less she continued " I mean, what if there's something more between us, something we've been too afraid to explore".
Yn sighed as she finished, about to walk away but before she could jared grabbed ahold of her arm bringing her into him and kindling a soft kiss on her lips.
He pulled away a soft smile planted on his face as he looked over at the girl in his arms, and took in the way she smiled when he pulled away.
"I've thought about the same thing" he spoke quietly, almost a whisper as he kissed her again, this time she kissed back.
The kiss was filled with love and passion, as he held her face in his hands, never wanting to let go.
Ad they pulled away again she rested her head against his chest, looking out at the stars again.
She was content in his arms where she knew she was never going to be alone again.
‐----------------------
First post, kinda hate it and didn't edit or proofread whatsoever so don't judge to harshly.
Also why is it that there's absolutely slim to none fits about jared on here.
Anyways, love y'all and always be kind.

“Cas, can’t you just, you know,” Dean flaps his arms, “pop in there and check on Y/N?”
Cas gives the brothers a look that could either be described as annoyance or skepticism, but with a tilt of his head, he looks towards the bunker’s room where you’ve not emerged and closes his eyes. A minute, no less, goes by, his blue eyes pop open, a frown graces his features.
“She’s ‘fine’,” Cas mimes air quotes.
“Yeah, Cas, we kinda knew that already,” Dean grumbles, instead turns to his brother, maybe he’ll have a better idea.
“No, don’t look at me, Dean,” Sam puts his hands up in surrender, “last time I tried, she threw her boot at my head.”
“This ends now,” Dean pushes off the bunker wall, storming towards Y/N’s room. He suggests they rock, paper, scissor, it, but instead they both enter your room.
It’s pitch black, sans for the dim hallway light, but they can see you; you’re a lump, curled into yourself on the bed. Dean nearly trips over something, bends to retrieve it, and holds up your letter biker boot.
“That’s the one,” Sam absentmindedly rubs his head.
“Guys, I’m fi-,” you begin to mumble from under the covers, but Dean cuts you off, and on go the lights.
“Damnit, YN, if you say fine one more time,” Dean sits himself on the edge of your bed, while Sam stands awkwardly at the end; probably afraid of what else you have in your arsenal of items to chuck at their heads.
“YN,” Sam urges, “come on, you can talk to us.”
“That’s rich,” you snark, but hiccup as a sob threatens to escape. Dean pulls back your covers, revealing your bloodshot and swollen eyes.
“He cheated on me,” you shuffle yourself into a sitting position, giving Sam the side eye, “again,” you find yourself patting the mattress for him to sit. “I thought maybe he was really going to change,” you huff, “I thought we were past all this.”
“I gave him a second chance,” you looked Dean in the eyes, searching for the anger you were feeling, finding it in the sparks of amber in his emerald orbs. “I gave him everything.”
“That son’of’a’bitch,” Dean runs a hand through his hair, “I’ll kill ‘im!”
“Killin’ him isn’t going to change the fact that I love…loved him,” you set your jaw, correcting yourself.
“I’m so sorry, YN,” Sam grabs your hand, his own enveloping yours and rubs his thumb across your knuckles, “you don’t deserve this.”
“He doesn’t deserve you,” Dean adds.
“What does he deserve then,” you counter. You’d love for them to beat him until he was hurting in the outside like you were aching on the inside.
“I thought after everything we’ve faced,” you shook your head in denial, “vamps, rugaroo, shifters, hellhounds, shit, even Michael,” your breath hitches as the name strikes a nerve in Dean, “I never thought the real monster was the one I was sleeping with.”
“Maybe Rowena has something,” Dean suggests, to which you and Sam look on with shock.
“What?” Dean shrugs, “if we can’t kill the asshole, maybe we could have a little fun instead!”
“I broke his nose,” you laughed, “and I may or may not have keyed his car.”
“How’s that for fun,” you thought to yourself.
“Ouch, YN,” Dean puts a hand to his heart, “you don’t mess with a man’s car.”
“Dean!” You shout.
Sam shoves his brother, “Dude, seriously?”
“You don’t mess with this bitch’s heart,” you throw the covers off your legs and push past the brothers.
“Enough of this rom com bullshit,” you grab a few things from your duffel, “I’m going to take a shower,” you point at Dean, “you make me one of your infamous burgers,” making your way towards the hall to the shared bathroom, calling over your shoulder, “Sammy let’s get hammered!”
Dean slaps his brother on the back, “you heard the woman!”

This is the third week this month that the sky has been cloudy and gray. It’s fitting since it matches your mood. All you want to do is get through today and go home where you feel the safest. You hate it here. You’re about to graduate but it needs to come faster. You want to get out of this hellhole and away from these hellish people.
You look up and see your school in the distance with people shuffling into the building. God, I hate everyone here. You’re not even sure how it started but you walked into school one day and everyone hated you. The internet talks about bullying and how much it can ruin a person’s life, but you never knew it could get this bad.
You’re not sure why you’re getting bullied. Sure, you’re very timid and shy but you’re one of the nicest people there is. You’re sweet and friendly to everyone, but that doesn’t seem to matter to some people.
You keep your head down even when you get to school, ignoring the stares you get from some people. The first class of the day is science, which you love, but there are three people in that class that make those fifty minutes feel like hell. You take your seat in the very back by the windows when one of the most popular girls in school comes in. She is followed by her two friends who are basically puppies looking for attention.
“Look girls, the neighborhood freak is here.”
Your heart hurts at her words. You’ve always been bullied by her ever since you could remember. You two attended the same elementary school, the same middle school and junior high, and now the same high school. She’s been tormenting you ever since she knew she gained power by her words.
Maybe she senses you’re a bit different than everyone else. You certainly feel that way. Why do you feel different than everyone here? What makes you not the same as everyone else? That’s the reason why you get bullied because you don’t fit in. You don’t dress weird, have a pimply face, or are into weird things. Stacy took one look at you one day and decided you were going to be her target for as long as you let her be in power.
You haven’t found it in yourself to take that from her.
“What, have nothing to say?” she smirks and looks at her friends. “I hear her Daddy hits her while at home. Her whole family is a bunch of freaks.”
That’s not true. Your father loves you dearly. She’s just looking to stir up some drama, and the only way it’ll get worse is if you antagonize her.
“I heard takes poor defenseless animals and cuts them up,” one of Stacy’s friends says.
“You hear that, Freak? Better not get caught or else I might sic Darren and his friends on you. You wouldn’t want to end up like those animals, now would you?”
You put your head down and drown out her words with the beat of your own heart. The cloudy sky hasn’t gone away, in fact, it has gotten much darker since you’ve arrived at school. Stacy and her friends sit down next to you and gossip loud enough for you to hear every word they say.
Freak. Useless. Ugly. Burden. Waste of space. Freak. Freak. Freak. Freak. Freak. It got so much that you let your emotions get the better of you. Tears would stream down your face if you weren't in front of a bunch of people. Your heart jumps out of your chest just as all the windows in the classroom shatter around you, causing everyone to scream and back away from it. You stay seated, unsure if you did this or if something outside had caused this.
The storm clouds roll in quicker than anyone expects, and a light rain starts falling from the sky. Some of that rain comes inside but you barely feel the water on your skin. You look around at every person who seems scared of you. Maybe she’s right. Maybe you are a useless waste of space freak.
School is shut down for the day while authorities figure out what the hell happened. The rain comes down a tad harder than before but if you can get home, you can curl up in bed and pretend the world doesn’t exist.
As you’re walking, someone bumps hard enough into you that you almost go crashing to the ground.
“What did I tell you girls? She’s a super freak. Did you see what she did to those windows? How did you do that?” Stacy asks.
“Please, I just want to go home.”
“Are you a witch? A freak and a witch. God, why don’t you just go kill yourself? The world will be better off without you in it.”
“Please, just let me go home,” you beg.
“I like it when you beg,” she smirks. “Come on, bitch, beg to me like a dog.”
You’re not sure how this happened but you thought of her getting hit by lightning and then she suddenly was. She falls back in a fit of screams while everyone else but you jump out of the way to avoid getting hit. One of her friends ends up calling 911 but you’re already running away from the scene.
The rain pours down harder and lightning strikes near you to reflect how heartbroken you are. It seems like the weather follows exactly how you feel, and right now, you just want the world to swallow you whole. You don’t bother going home in fear you’ll hurt your parents. Instead, you run to the one place you feel safe outside of your own home.
“Alright, I have storms hitting New York and New Jersey, but I don’t think it’s what we’re looking for,” Sam says as he browses his laptop.
“I got a small tornado in Louisana.”
“Anything else?” Sam asks Cas.
“No.”
“Check this out,” Dean says before the group gives up hope. He turns the laptop so that the other two men can see the page he’s on. “There is a small town in Nebraska that is having rolling blackout storms like the city has never seen before, and the windows of the local high school had been shattered without anyone or anything touching it.”
“Do you think that’s her?” Sam asks.
“Gotta be. She’d be in high school by now.”
“There’s only one way to find out.”
The trio gathers everything they can before setting out to Nebraska. They’ve been tracking you ever since you were born because you’re one of the most, if not the most, powerful beings in the universe. You’re the offspring of Lucifer AND Michael when they decided to both have sex with a human woman at the same time. They manipulated their power to create one big super sperm (as Dean likes to put it) in order to create you.
You’re the Princess of Heaven and Hell, the antichrist, and the embodiment of Karma and the Void. If Dean had to guess, you don’t know just how powerful you are, and you don’t. They have to find you before you do something bad like level an entire town because you got upset over something. Your mother died by giving birth to you and your fathers went to Hell after being imprisoned in the Cage yet again.
Your foster family took you in, adopted you, and loved you with everything they got. There’s a reason why you felt so different than everyone else. You’re not human. You’re not like anyone else. You just don’t know why because you were never told what you are or taught how to be what you are.
Sam, Dean, and Castiel try to traverse the storm when they get into town. It’s gotten a lot worse and has residents fleeing from the city to seek shelter elsewhere. No one knows where this storm came from but they are preparing for the worst. The heart of the storm is where you’re at and gets lighter the further out it goes.
They track you to an abandoned farm you often go to when you want to be alone. You found this place while taking a shortcut home and made it comfortable enough for you to spend hours there. Now, you can’t find a big of comfort anywhere here.
The trio gets out of Baby and sees you outside the barn huddled on the ground. The rain is coming down in buckets but that won’t stop the Winchesters and Castiel from talking to you.
“Maybe I should go. You know, angel to half-angel,” Castiel offers.
“No, let me,” Dean says before he can stop himself. “You two stay here.”
“What? Are you crazy?!” Sam gasps.
“Sammy, I got this.” He leaves their side and approaches you slowly and carefully. You look up and see the three strange men which causes you to scoot away from them in fear. “Y/N, you’re okay!”
“Go away! I don’t know you!”
Lightning strikes the ground where Dean is, and he jumps back before he is struck. Sam wants to join his brother’s side but he knows Dean can handle this one alone. Plus, he’ll jump in if it looks like Dean is in trouble.
“Y/N, my name is Dean Winchester. I want to explain what is happening to you.”
“I don’t even know who I am!” you sob. “Go away before I hurt you!” Dean walks closer to you but you feel a sense of warmth coming from him. You can feel that he is a safe person to talk to which is why you allow him to come closer to you. “I don’t know what’s happening to me. I feel so lost. I don’t belong here. I don’t fit in!”
“Believe me, I get it. I understand how you feel.” He kneels next to you so you can see him without the rush of rain between you two. “I know what it’s like to feel alone in a room full of people. I didn't think I belonged for a long time. Sometimes, I still feel that way.”
“What’s wrong with me?”
“Nothing is wrong with you.” You fall into Dean’s arms and just cry, and he smooths down your drenched hair as a means to comfort you. “There is nothing wrong with you.”
“All I want is to be normal. I didn’t ask to be this way.”
“I know. You’re not alone, Y/N. My brother and I can help you. Castiel over there can help you. We can help you control this.” You sob into his neck uncontrollably. “You’re going to be okay.”
For some reason, you believe him, and the storm calms down just a bit both in your head and outside.

Cold Little Heart
Tumblr media
[Castiel x Female!Reader]
Synopsis: Castiel returns, despite his hesitations
WC: 1,106
Category: Angst, Little bit of Fluff, Lime/Steamy
“And I know in my heart, in this cold heart. I can live, or I can die.”
『••✎••』
You felt his arm wrap around your torso, bringing you closer. The demons were surrounding you both, growling and snarling like rabid dogs. You watched in fear as he threw his angel blade at the wall, causing the sigils to crack and break.
You screamed his name in fear as they all rushed forward, but when you felt a firm press on your forehead, it relaxed your nerves immediately. As you stood there, you felt a gush of wind surround you at a lightning speed before stopping like it was never there in the first place.
You knew you were safe when it became silent. You were finally safe. You were home, or at least the hotel room you rented.
“Cassie…” Your voice stammers a bit, the sudden goosebumps that had formed now was fading away into your skin.
“Hold still.” His gruff voice spoke, just above a whisper. His hand gazed over your stomach with arms still attached around your lower back. You obliged to his words as you watched the soft blueish light illuminate from his hand to your stomach, the blood dissolving into nothing. Your wound healing in a matter of seconds.
When he finished, his vibrant eyes stared back at yours with a vigorous intensity. You had recently compared them to a husky — being that Cas had a personality similar to that of the puppy, but looking at his eyes now, they changed.
His eyes were now fire in water, passion in ice. The once mindless, dull eyes were now full of expression. Its shade was of an ideal raindrop on a blue aster. The shade of a waterway rushing to join the extraordinary sea.
He knew being here with you was wrong, but he could barely control himself at this point. He’s been fighting himself for nearly three months, avoiding your face to avoid everything else. Both Dean and Sam had noticed — he was sure of it — but neither commented. They allowed him to hurt your feelings, conflict your emotions. It was a shitty thing to do, but he had to do it. He couldn’t risk it.
He couldn’t risk you being collateral damage.
His hands had moved up to your forearms, grasping them firmly. His eyes never left yours, admiration forming into his ardent eyes. It was like a gravitational force came upon you, pulling you closer into him. Your hands found its way to his chest, pulling your arms out of his grasp.
He leaned down, creating a small gap between the two of you. His lips were hovering over yours, just inches apart. His hands gripped your hips, preventing you from falling.
Of course, he never fully stayed away. With all that was happening around the world and the brothers constantly fighting greater evils, he found himself occasionally flying to see you. You couldn’t see him, but he was there. For everything.
If this had been a few years ago, he would be emotionless… thinking nothing of how you’d feel. But, you helped him see the world worth living for. You — and the brothers, but mostly you — gave him humanity. Gave him purpose other than the orders he was created to follow.
His heart broke every time you collapsed in despair. Your quiet sobs soaking into your pillows, trying to keep those emotions hidden from the brothers. He always wondered why you never cried in Dean’s arms… or Sam’s. They’d always make time for you.
Eventually, after every day of watching your endless suffering, it finally snapped him out of it. You had gone on a hunt, fighting demons despite being at a definite disadvantage. No boys… no Bobby… it was as if you were suicidal at this point, and he couldn’t take it anymore.
That’s when he stepped in, body slamming the two demons in front of you — smiting them quickly and efficiently. He would never forget the face you made as the two of you made contact… there was light. Hope.
The moment was shortly caught off as more demons poured in like a swarm of zombies. It was clear you had underestimated the swarm, and he was very thankful he was around otherwise you’d dead within a minute.
Before he could close the gap between the two of you, he pulled away. “I can’t.”
You raised an eyebrow. “Can’t?”
He sighed, looking down. “I’m an angel of the lord.”
“Yeah, Cassie, I kinda know that.” You retorted with a slight smile.
He gave you an annoyed expression, rolling his eyes. “I meant us, as in… us. It’s…it’s frowned upon.”
“Well, I’m already frowned upon by my parents, so it’s not much of a shocker—”
He rolled his eyes again, interrupting you. “Angels aren’t supposed to feel love. They’re not supposed to feel anything for that matter.”
“But you do so that doesn’t matter.” You stated, voice barely above a whisper. “It’s okay, Cassie, we’re okay.”
“No, we’re- we’re not.” He sighed, “I thought I could fix this by leaving. I thought if I had left you alone, everything would slowly fix itself. But, I was wrong. It’s still there. Everything is still there.”
“Cas…”
“I’m sorry, I should’ve been there.” His hands had cupped your face as he sighed into you. You saw the pain he held in his eyes, clearly he had been suffering just as you did. “I inflicted pain on you for selfish reasons. I was a coward, hiding away, instead of facing my fears.”
“Cas, you rebelled against everything you’ve ever believed in to help us. To help Dean save his brother. You practically broke every rule in the angel rule book. You faced Uriel… Anna… Zachariah… how could you be that scared after facing them? After everything we faced—?!”
You were cut off by Cassie’s sudden closeness. You hadn’t realized how much it escalated until your body had been pushed against the wall, his lips devouring yours, feeling hungry and ambiguous. Your lungs felt clenched, the air being sucked out of you, as your lips became numb with his touch.
Castiel was apprehensive at first, leaving feathery kisses that felt hesitant. His hands had wrapped around your waist, pulling you closer into the heat of his body. Your hands slowly tangled and gripped his hair, guiding him along as you deepened the kiss.
When your back found its way against the wall, his hands pinned your head in place. A whine escaped your throat as he slithered his tongue down, dancing and intertwining with yours as your hands caressed down from his neck to his spine.
Eventually his hand found his tie, yanking it off with one tug, before discarding it onto the floor. His overcoat following in pursuit.

Dean and Cas actually beefing on Tumblr because dean comment one Dean X YN X Castiel saying that it was good, the only problem was Castiel on it and Castiel commented back saying : I didn't understand, Castiel and YN are the real couple, why isn't Dean the bad part?
Legends say, even today people tell the legend about the fight between the Castiel roleplayer and the Dean roleplayer
People still believe that the "Castiel rp-er" was a white-hat troll specifically targeted to piss off the legendary toxic Dean kinnie

Staring straight ahead you couldn’t take anything around you in. Only a few people were in the café at this time for night, you were grateful really, if you were doing what you wanted to do, you didn’t want a crowd.
And if you did then you knew the life you’d built would fall, but you missed the life you thought you hated. You missed the horrible things when you really thought about it, your rough hands had gone soft and your nails were no longer bitterly and broken, you couldn’t remember the last you had a cut that needed to heal.
Your eyes went to the ring on your finger, the first thing you did after leaving the bunker was finding a witch who could hide you from any tracking spell, it cost almost all your savings and a one of a kind spell book which you stole from the bunker but it was worth it.
Would he come if you asked? When you left you knew it would hurt everyone, but you were so desperate to get away nothing else mattered. You vaguely remember leaving a note behind but no matter how hard you try you can’t remember the words.
“now or never” you muttered. You took a deep breath taking the ring off your hand. nervously you looked up at the ceiling, “Cas? Can you hear me? I hope you can” you sighed. You waited for a sign, for anything but the café stayed the same. “Why would you answer anyway?” you laughed bitterly to yourself.
“I will always answer you” you lifted your head in shock and found Cas sitting opposite you. “anything for you”.
“Cas” you breathed out. He looked the same still, same dirty trench coat and heart stopping blue eyes, the same eyes you imagined before you fell asleep every night.  “you came” you couldn’t help but smile.
“when I heard you, I thought I imagined it but here you are, alive and well” your smile dropped by the end of his sentence.
You looked down to the coffee cup on the table. “you should try the coffee, it’s amazing here”.
“y/n”
“I recommend anything from here really”
“y/n” you looked up at him when you heard the ache in his voice.
“I” you started hopelessly, “I’m sorry this was a mistake” you stammered standing up knocking the table. You tired your best to hold everything in, praying to Castiel had been a mistake you knew your life wouldn’t be the same now. Cas would return to the bunker and tell sam and dean who would not doubt find a way to you and convince you to return or Cas could just take you back there.
“don’t leave again” you stopped dead in your tracks, you thought you felt your heart leave your body and drop to the floor.
“Cas. I made a mistake calling you. you and the guys have moved on and I thought I had” you looked down shaking your head trying to gather your strength again.
You took another step away, you stopped again when you felt Cas’ hand grip yours. You gulped unable to take your eyes off his hand. “what makes you believe I or Sam and Dean have moved on?” your eyes went level with his when he stood up. You were breathless and lightheaded, he didn’t let go of your hand or look away from you. “Do you think so little of yourself?”
“let me go Cas”
“Why did you call me? After all this time?”
You opened your mouth to answer but closed it again.
“tell.me.” he pulled your closer with each word, you were close before but when he finished you were chest to chest.
Both of you had long forgotten about the few people that remained in the café, “I missed you okay!” that first you felt relief you had said it, said what you had hid for years. “but I couldn’t be a part of that life anymore! I just couldn’t !” you felt the café staff watching you, they wondered who this person was who had appeared out of nowhere, having a conversation that was breaking your heart all over again.
“I would have followed you, if you asked it of me” the pain of his face was unbearable. His grip on your hand had gotten stronger.
You face soften when you shook your head, “I would never ask that of you. what you do means too much to you, you’re a soldier, Cas, I’d never ask you to stop fighting”. Without having to think you cupped his face, “how I have missed you. if having you means I have to be one too then so be it”.
It his turn to give you a soft look, he let your hand go and took the one on his face with both hands. “And I would never ask that of you”. you blinked away tears, incapable to understand what would come next.
“what will we do then?”
He smiled sadly, taking your ring off the table, and played with it. He sighed deep before he put it back on your hand. you opened your mouth to ask him what he was doing but was cut short when Cas kissed your forehead.
More tears fell, you closed your eyes and wished they would stop.
A warm feeling took over your whole body, you couldn’t remember the last time you felt this warm and calm. “you will go on with your life, forget me and the Winchesters” you couldn’t remember if he had ever spoken so softly before, when the words fell into place you tried to jump back but Cas grip was too tight, “You will remember the supernatural but be free from the guilt and be happy”. You opened your eyes to look at him one last time, of course they knew too it was the last time, he lent down to kiss your forehead again.
You blinked and he was gone, only you couldn’t remember why you were crying or why you were stood alone in a café.

Wrecked Cas appeared back in the bunk where he found Sam and Dean waiting still.
“What was all that about? One minute you’re here and then you’re gone”
“I was with y/n”
Both Sam and Dean stopped what they were doing and looked at Cas, “she alive? Well is she coming back?” Sam asked.
“She doesn’t remember us anymore. I made sure”
“You did what?” Dean yelled standing up.
“I loved them enough to walk away”

How the SPN Men Would React if You Flinched During an Argument
Tumblr media
Dean:
He would be hurt at first
He never wants you to be scared of him
He understands immediately why you flinched
Apologizes quickly
"I'm sorry, sweetheart."
Holds you tightly
Kisses the top of your head
Tries to get you to tell him who hurt you
Threatens to kill them
"I'll hunt them down and kill them!"
"Dean-"
Promises that he'll never hurt you
"I'll always protect you."
Tumblr media
Sam:
Would take him a second to understand.
"Oh, Y/n."
He feels terrible
His heart hurts at the fact that someone hurt you.
Apologizes a million times.
Gets you to open up about it.
He starts to cry when you cry; he hates seeing you so upset.
Low-key plotting to murder the person who hurt you.
Assures you that he would never lay a hand on you.
Tells you how much he loves you.
"I love you more than anything, you know that, right?"
Gets you your ice cream and cuddles on the couch while watching a movie.
Tumblr media
Castiel
Very confused
Takes him a minute to understand
Once he does he is livid
"Do you want me to smite them?"
"Cas, no-"
You talk to him about what happened
He tells you stories of Heaven in attempt to make you feel better
It works
Reminds you how much he loves you
Tumblr media
Jack
Doesn't understand at all
Has to get Sam and Dean to explain it to him
He thinks you're scared of him because you think he's like Lucifer
You have to reassure him that's not true
You tell him what happened
He's pissed
"Where are they? I swear I'll-"
"Jack. . ."
He cuddles you because that's all he know how to do
You fall asleep with your head resting on his chest
Tumblr media
Gabriel
He's initially shocked
How could someone hurt something so beautiful and perfect?
Sincerely apologizes
"I'm so sorry, Gorgeous."
Hugs you in attempts to comfort you
Makes you dance with him
Whether it be a slow song or one that makes you laugh
He loves to hear you laugh
"It's like music to my ears."
Tells you he would never hurt you

『••✎••』
It was rather… serene. Standing and sitting in the dark abyss. Your eyes were closed, taking the moment in. The pain came only temporarily, struggling to free yourself, but now… now it was peaceful.
Your mind stopped moving miles a minute. Only focused on this moment. No memories were flashing, no pictures of what’s to come or what should’ve been. You finally felt like you've come home after years of being away.
Just before, you were on a hunt with Dean. Well… you weren’t on the hunt but rather getting information for it, wearing your best disguise as you got out of his Impala.
Usually Sam would tag along and put his Harvard manipulating skills to use, but he stayed behind to do research. That left you with the one and only:
Dean Winchester.
Except he was angry and pissed off at you, again.
The entire way there you rode in silence, not a single word was said due to him still pissed at you for eating his leftover bacon burger. It was rather childish for a twenty-six-year-old, but it was Dean. He was always on the immature side when you weren’t hunting.
A saddened smile was bestowed on his lips for the grieving woman you were approaching, while he was completely ignoring your existence.
You fell silent, unsure of what to do since Dean had taken over the entire conversation. He didn’t allow even a word to slip out of your mouth.
All because of that damn burger.
Of course, you apologized. You believe the count is at five now, but being the asshole he was, he chose to be petty and not accept it. Obviously, you didn’t know it was his burger, you figured it was leftover lunch they brought to the motel for you.
Apparently—fucking—not.
“I’ll be by the lake,” You finally spoke up, “I’ll check if anything is suspicious.”
Of course, it was complete bullshit. You just didn’t want to be around Dean’s aura at the moment. Him being pissed at you was one of the worst things ever, mostly due to the fact he never gets over it. If you had eaten Sam’s burger, you could just buy him another one and all would be forgiven. But nope! Dean has to be an ass about it.
So, there you were on the pier, watching longingly as Dean comforted the woman by himself. You were wishing that he’d eventually get over the burger, so you all could move on from this childish argument, when you heard it.
A soft whistle, almost like a gust of wind brushing past you in lightning speed.
“The hell…?” You questioned softly to yourself, looking around to see if you could witness anything that could even remotely produce the sound.
You didn’t find the source, but it found you.
Within a second, you found yourself clinging to the pier by your hands, your leg being pulled underwater. Shit.
“D-Dean!” You yelled, your eyes focusing on the man away from you. He was the last person you wanted to call, but being on the verge of death, you put the bullshit aside. “A little help here?!”
A nail popped loose from the board you were desperately hanging on to. It was only a matter of time before it would pop off entirely. A groan escaped your lips as you tried to kick whatever the thing that had latched onto your ankle was, but it wouldn’t budge. In fact, the thing's grip got firmer with each kick.
“Dean!” This time you screamed as loud as you could, another nail popping loose. “Dean, Please!?”
Finally, at this, he turned his head. His eyes were searching to find the source, the grieving mother followed his gaze in pursuit. With one last scream of his name, his eyes hooked on to yours.
You watched that anger and hatred from before wash away with worry. The notebook he held, writing down what the lady had witnessed, flew to the ground as he started to bolt towards your direction. But he was too far.
Before he could even hop the wooden fence, the board popped loose which immediately retracted into your face. You could feel the iron of your blood in your mouth, your eyes becoming hazy as you were pulled under.
In an attempt to save yourself, you pulled out your silver switchblade in your pocket and immediately started slashing and stabbing. You didn’t expect it to go away, but it did, making you realize that it was a ghost you were hunting.
That was the last thing you remembered before it went mute. You were in the quiet place now, drifting as the current pulled you along.
As you were drifting, falling deeper into the abyss, you suddenly felt a pressure around your abdomen. The pressure lifting you up, as if you were flying, until a ringing noise appeared. An annoying ringing tone that didn’t go away whatsoever. You wanted to groan, as it disrupted your peaceful paradise, but you couldn’t.
Once your ears had gotten used to it, another noise disrupted your paradise.
Thump. A loud vibration tickled your ears, applying pressure to your chest. It wasn’t as annoying as the ringing, but it came in threes.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
It never stopped.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
It was like a broken record, repeating the same vibrations every few seconds. As if it couldn’t get worse, it did. Muffles of pitches that you couldn’t make out started to appear.
It was two pitches. One was one higher and hoarse, like the person had a terrible sore throat. It talked in long sentences, letting out a shriek ever-so-often.
The other, however, was deeper. Much deeper. It spoke in a gruff, masculine voice, repeating the same muffle every time.
“Come on.” It repeated, “Come on.”
You wanted it to stop, you wanted to scream for the loudness to go away. But once your mouth opened, there was only a single thing left...
Pain.
Your chest had completely caved in, all sorts of pain shooting at you in all directions. Your legs, your arms, your head, your back… everything was aching.
You found yourself choking severely, praying for the pain to go away. A hand found its place on the small of your back, lifting you up gently. The gesture caused water to spurt out everywhere on the grass from your mouth.
It was disgusting, yet the hand only gave you pats of encouragement.
“There you go,” The voice whispered, “cough it all out.”
It was Dean. It had been him the entire time. The pressure around your abdomen, the thumps of vibration on your chest… it was all him.
He saved your life.
Your hands found his shoulders, steadying yourself. He only smiled —in relief that is — grabbing hold of your arms.
He was completely drenched head to toe, his “fancy” suit now nowhere to be found. His tie was undone, the familiar necklace that he never took off in plain sight. His voice pulled you into reality, “Hey, you alright?”
This was karma for that damn burger.
“Y-yeah, I-I’m fine.” You panted, “thank you.”
He smiled again — a genuine one at that. His eyes told you that the burger was completely off his mind. Not even a flicker of anger was left.
You stared into his eyes a little longer than you should’ve, but you couldn’t help it. It’s been a whole two days of him giving you the cold shoulder and nasty glares. Seeing him relieved and rather joyous at you was an expression you wanted to stay.
“What… the hell… was that?!” The familiar shriek of the grieving woman had made the both of you jump, snapping both of your heads to stare at her wide-eyed. You both had forgotten that she was there, but given the matter you almost drowned, it was a reasonable excuse.
Sighing, Dean turned his focus to the woman temporarily, calming her down about the whole situation. You, on the other hand, couldn’t stop thinking about the fact he actually saved you.
He saved your life. Usually you were the hero that saved lives, so it didn’t affect you all that much. Actually, it made you feel important that you helped saved people who were clueless of the true world they lived in. But being on the other side to where you needed someone to be that hero? Hell, it was a crazy feeling.
“Hey, eyes open!” Dean’s fingers snapped in front of your eyes. His eyes were staring daggers into your soul. “Don’t you pass out on me, Kiddo.”
“…I’m... I’m only two years younger than you, asshole—”
Then, you passed out due to the lack of oxygen, but instead of living in that peaceful and empty bliss, you dreamed of him. You dreamed of Dean happily — but terribly — singing to 80s rock while Sam laughed his heart out.
You knew from now on, everything was going to be alright — well… it will be as soon as you got rid of that damn ghost.
