Quiet noises
The studio was boring as ever. We talked about their upcoming tour in Europe. Bill was trying to plan things out with the guys but one had their attention on me.
I look at Tom as he eyes me up and down. He was dazed onto my legs and up to my face. When he made eye contact he gave me a goofy smirk. His legs were now cris crossed and he continued to watch me.
I bit my lip as I watched his hand placement on his leg. I shuffle in my spot trying to get comfortable but it made him pay attention to me more. We look at each other and no one seems to notice. I then smiled at myself when I thought about something. He raised an eyebrow when he saw me smiling. I look at the guys as they continued talking. I motioned my finger telling him to come here.
After a few seconds, he came to sit next to me. Our legs rubbed onto each other. And his fingertips skimming the exposed part of my back.
“Y/N would it be best to bring toilet paper on the bus?” Bill asked.
“Yeah, most definitely.” I laughed.
We all laughed and I turned my attention to Tom. He inched his way closer wrapping his arm around me. I place my hand on his leg going up higher touching the details on his belt. He looked at my hand and then at me. His eyes are full of desire.
The guys started arguing about sanitary problems and this was my chance. “Follow me,” I said under my breath. I stood up and ran my hand across his chest to his shoulder. When I leave I take a glimpse of him grinning.
I went into the room that was next to the room that I was just in. It was cramped but a relaxing area to just lay down. We still had some renovation. The door slightly opened and Tom peeked in.
“Why hello there.” I joked. I laid down on the small couch teasing him by lifting my shirt just a little.
“Finally some peace huh?” He chuckled coming over to me and relaxing on me playing with my shirt wrapping it on his finger and pulling it down.
“I hope it's not peaceful,” I added.
Tom kissed my neck softly. My body got the chills when it made contact with his lips. He pulled my shirt down to kiss the skin now showing on my chest. I could hear my shirt ripping as the fabric stretched.
His knee rose between my legs and the heat started growing in the room. “God you are so beautiful.” His moan agonized. He placed one more kiss and took off my shirt and his. I licked my lower lip as I admire his figure. He put one finger on my lips gliding across and then he trailed it down to my bra tracing the pattern elements it had.
“Can you not,” I whispered. I felt him smile on my skin when he pressed his lips on it.
We slowly undressed each other. The tension between us grew of us teasing around. It didn't help that we couldn't make too much ruckus in the room.
“Tom please.” I muffled in his ear. He took me in his arms and our chests were pressed together. Making the heat of our bodies rise. We couldn't open the window, unfortunately.
“Just stay quiet okay?” He whispered feverishly. “Tom...” I breathed as I sat on his lap grinding impatiently. “Patience love.” His hands roamed my legs.
He helped me by putting his dick inside me. “Oh, fuck.” He hissed trying it hold back the noises. He held onto my waist. I whimpered low as I started moving. Which made him go crazy.
He started moving with me and a moan escaped my mouth. But it was immediately covered by Tom’s hand. “Shh, I know you love it but no need to get all excited.” He said with a smug look on his face. My mind wasn’t fully here to talk back. I rocked my hips back and forth gripping onto his shoulders. His hand moved away from my mouth down to my neck lightly choking it.
“I love seeing you like this.” His eyes watching me carefully. I kept letting out soft moans when I started riding fast but slowing down to play with him. In return he would slap my ass or hold his grip on my neck. I placed both hands on his arm feeling his veins pulse. “Please Tom...” I staggered.
“Please what?” He started moving again with me making it only challenging to speak.
“F..fuck me.” I demanded tiredly. Tom threw his head back in pleasure but removed his hand from my neck to be placed on my hips grabbing onto them tight. “Keep going and I will.”
I kept going and leaned it to give him a kiss. It was sloppy and our tongues swirled together. I couldn’t really control myself now since there was no way of getting off. I felt myself bounce on him for a bit till I slowed down making slow motions.
But Tom he held onto me and lifted me to get in a better position. And he started to thrust inside me hard. “Fuck, don't stop!” I said loudly. I was hoping the boys couldn't hear us now.
My nails dug into his back as he fucked me. I felt him holding back from creating noises but he rested his face on my shoulder groaning softly. Breathing out of control. He pulled out but straight back in making my head spin. “Keep going... Deeper.” I struggled to say. And he didn't stop. I felt my legs shaking each time his dick went plunging inside me.
And he hit the right spot making my eyes roll back, “Yes right there, please oh my god!”
“Right here?” He teased and hit the spot again.
“I can't hold on much longer if you keep doing that.” “Go, come all over this dick just as you wanted needy girl.” He kissed my shoulder now and I could feel him moaning louder on my skin. His eyes are now shut.
And I couldn't. I came all over him feeling my legs tremble. His dick was twitching inside me and I tried to catch my breath. “That was hot.” He panted sweat dripping from his face. The room was humid and it made us look messy. I nodded running my fingers through my hair as I felt it stick to my face.
“Tom, Y/N?!” Bill yelled out. “Where are they? I swear I heard someone scream.” Gustav implied. “I don't know but I know they are together,” Georg replied.
Me and Tom laughed kissing each other one last time before trying to escape the studio to clean up.

Absolutely weird thoughts about how Ghosts Abbey operates. So here are some of my personal headcannons/ramblings about it.
• In my head the Abbey is in the middle of nowhere, nothing but nature for miles/kilometers and the nearest town is probably a good few hours away. So while outings are probably few and far between, it’s usually in VERY large groups with siblings of sin going out to socialize with the public and just have fun from time to time.
• It’s probably almost entirely self-sufficient, sure a few Siblings of sin accompanied by a ghoul will be sent out to make a supply run to the nearest town to stock up on stuff that they can’t make themselves, but otherwise they’ve got most of it covered.
•Primo’s Garden supplies fresh fruit and vegetables for most of the population of the abbey, if they don’t have enough it’s included on the “things to get” list for the next supply run
• They 100% have livestock. They are a satanic church who most likely do some sort of animal sacrifice and goats ARE NOT cheap!! That being said, they probably have a few goats, some sheep, and chickens. Meat like pork and beef is bought on supply runs since both take up a lot more space.
• Siblings of sin and ghouls alike help out with the livestock and they all lead very happy lives until their lives end.
•Anyways consider the emeritus boys having to help out with the livestock. Farm boy Emeritus brothers. (I just think that I would be silly)
•I think Terzo would have beef with the chickens (they keep pecking his hands when he tries to grab their eggs) (he has so many band-aids on his hands) (he cries about it too, like a drama queen) (Omega has to kiss his hands better like he’s a child)
•Primo uses the livestock waste as fertilizer, so it all just goes straight into the gardens soil whenever paddocks are cleaned.
• Whenever a baby gets rejected? Secondo is first in line to be on bottle feeding duty. He does not CARE how many times he has to wake up, he will walk his ass all the way into the paddock where the baby is held and stay there.
•Nihil is the only casualty of the goats. He has been head-butted, chewed on, kicked, everything. They just don’t like him so he’s forced to admire from afar.

“Hello welcome, is it just you three?” The host of the restaurant you're at with Wanda and her best friend asks.
“Hi, yes, it’s just us three,” your girlfriend responds with a smile.
“Okay, so we’re a little busy today so there'll be a 20 minute wait, is that okay?” The host says.
“Yes, that's fine, thank you,” you reply, smiling as well.
“Okay great, well if you’d like, we have a waiting area just outside, you can take a seat and we'll call you when your table is ready,” they say and the three of you nod, walking away to the waiting area.
“Hey, while we wait for our table to be ready, why don't you tell me the story about how the two of you met? I mean, you're great together, don't get me wrong, but this happened so suddenly. One day Wanda is single and the next she's infatuated with a stranger she met on the street, so what's the story?” Natasha Romanoff, Wanda's best friend asks once you’re all seated.
“Honestly, there’s not much to tell. Meeting Wanda was purely coincidental,” you begin shrugging slightly, “or as I'd like to call it, fate,” you grin teasingly, your girlfriend rolling her eyes as a blush coats her cheeks.
“Oh, please don’t start,” Wanda mumbles, looking down as she tries to suppress a smile.
“Come on, you love it,” you wink, placing a chaste kiss to her cheek.
“Okay, okay, I get it, you guys are cute. Now can we please get to the story?” Natasha intervenes, with a smirk on her lips.
“Yeah, sorry,” you chuckle, “anyway, this is how it goes.”

You were walking down the busy streets of New York, on your way to meet up with your best friend Steve Rogers, when you suddenly bump into a woman.
Or more like she bumped into you, causing you to fall to the ground and slightly hit your head on the pavement.
“Oh my god, oh my god, I am so sorry,” an inexplicably beautiful voice says.
Your eyes are closed as you're on the ground because the sun was blinding you and the pounding in your head was making it that much harder for you to want to open your eyes.
“I-I, oh goodness, are you okay?” The person nervously asks, and suddenly the sun isn’t hitting your eyes anymore, so you slowly open them and the sight that greets you is one you would never forget.
“I-” you begin, cutting yourself short when you realize just how beautiful the woman in front of you is.
“She's not talking Pietro! Do you think I gave her a concussion?!” The girl asks, as she looks to her brother, eyes wide in fear.
“No, no sestra, she’s okay. Just dazed.” Pietro, a silver haired man beside the beautiful girl responds, his tone slightly amused.
“Then why isn’t she talking, is she in shock or something?” The woman that knocked you down inquires, looking at you as you continue sitting on the ground.
“Yes,” Pietro chuckles, the situation extremely humorous for him, “but not for the reason you’d think.”
“Then can you please tell me what is going on? Should we call an ambulance or something?” The redhead asks, arms flailing in distress, voice raising slightly due to her panic as her brother shakes his head, your voice suddenly interrupting.
“Are you an Angel? Because you’re so beautiful it’s unreal,” are the first words you mutter after a few minutes of staring at the redhead.
“Wait, what?” Wanda says in shock, head tilting as she looks at you confused, then she looks to her brother, said brother letting out a loud laugh at the situation.
“Oh my god, this is gold!” Pietro exclaims, doubled over in laughter.
“Shut up Piet," the woman mumbles, cheeks blazing red, “and you. You must have hit your head harder than you thought. Come on, let’s get you up.” She says as she offers you a hand. Which you take immediately, eyes widening when you feel as if an electrical current has flowed through you.
You look to the woman that just helped you up and say, “please tell me you felt it too?” Receiving a slow nod in return, you introduce yourself to the redhead. “I’m Y/N. What’s your name?”
“Wanda.” Is the offered response, followed by a beautiful shy smile and you swear you feel as time stops.
“Wanda.” You repeat, testing the name, a name you will never forget for as long you live.

“So yeah, that's how we met. I got tackled to the ground mercilessly, was basically concussed, but I landed this beauty in return. So honestly, if I had to, I'd go through it all over again,” you say, smiling cheekily as Natasha and Wanda let out a teasing groan, causing you to let out a laugh, “what?” You ask the women.
“You are an idiot, my love,” Wanda laughs.
“Yeah, an idiot in love,” you say jokingly, “I'm pretty sure I lost brain cells during the fall, so really, you're to blame,” you say sticking your tongue out, both redheads laughing.
“Honestly, you two are sickening and the way you met is truly for the books. Pietro had a field day when we finally met up after that, he couldn’t even get the story out from how hard he was laughing,” Natasha says, “but I'm glad you're together, you two make quite the pair,” Natasha smiles at her best friend.
“We do, don't we?” Wanda asks, green eyes sparkling with love as she takes your hand. Placing a small kiss on the back of your hand, “as big of a dork as she is, I wouldn't trade her for the world,” Wanda beams.
“Ditto Max, I wouldn't trade you for the world either,” you say, beaming with a smile.

This started off as a dirty little scandalous idea, actually based on a previous fandom I used to write for, and it turned into a big thing... As all of my fics do. I don't think I'm capable of writing anything short anymore. Also @sweatandwoe came up with the title 😉

𝘓𝘢 𝘢𝘮𝘰... Copia thought to himself as he fondly observed the sight before him, framed by the paned glass door leading to the balcony: his little one bouncing on your hip as you cooed at him, trying to get the bambino back to sleep. The antipope had returned home late from the ministry offices, as he often did, entering his suite completely exhausted, kicking off his shoes to let his aching feet relax, perking back up a bit upon laying eyes on you.
Eyes glossed over as a cheery little smile came to his face, he simply watches as you saunter back and forth, his progeny lulling back to sleep in your arms. Before he even realizes, his sore feet carry him right out to the balcony, making his presence known.
"Oh! Good evening, Papa!" you whisper, not wanting to rouse the little one.
"No need for such formalities, 𝘚𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢..." he mocks you with a wink.
A faint blush colors your cheeks; always so charismatic, even when he's as tired as he looks. Luckily before you can put more thought into it, baby Giovanni stirs a little, sitting back up and eyes popping open.
"Sh, sh, shhh..." you hum pressing a kiss to his little head.
"D-deh..." he whines reaching out towards Copia.
Letting out a little shocked gasp, you feign, "Who's that? Who is he, huh? Is that Daddy?"
With the sweetest giggle, the little one exclaims for his Da-da, reaching out again.
Copia swoops right over, playfully bending down to smooch his only son, getting a bit of black face paint on the soft fuzz of the little one's head. "Whoopsies, we'll have to wash you up, piccolino," he runs a finger delicately over his little cheek.
As Copia stands up straight again, and his baby stretches right back out for him.
"I think someone wants Daddy, yeah?" you try to urge your boss to take the bundle in your arms.
Instead, he does the unexpected. Wrapping an arm around the small of your back, he pulls you flush to him, cocooning his son between you. You and Copia both have an arm supporting the baby, as he holds you both close to him.
"Someone wants Daddy, sì?" he asks, and you're not sure if that was for you or Gio. Either way, it draws another blush to your cheeks.
Copia looks you over, eyes softening now that his little one is safe between you. In your avoidance of eye contact, you didn't see him lean in, only feeling his lips press softly to your forehead; surely you would have a mark as his child did. The softest gasp escapes you; it isn't lost on you that things had not been well for some time between him and his Prime Mover...
Maybe you were reading too much into it. Perhaps he was just being affectionate. You knew he could be handsy, and he'd had a long day; he was probably just seeking a moment of comfort before bed.
"Let's go put him down for the night, eh?" Copia motions to his baby boy.
You were so lost in thought, you hadn't even noticed he drifted back off. Snapping back into action to take him to bed, Copia stops you, scooping the bundle from your arms, giving you a warm smile as he disappears back inside to the nursery connected to his bedroom. You trail behind the man to make sure he won't need help with anything.
Laying the little one in his basinet, Copia offers him one last goodnight kiss and jokingly promises not to disturb him again. The man turns to see you standing in the doorway, illuminated by the soft glow of the night light in the room.
"I should retire to bed before he wakes again in a few hours," you dutifully remark, eyes cast down and thumbs twirling together.
Gloved fingers brush your hair from your face, tucking it behind your ear, "It's a blessing having you here." Softly he cups your jaw, while his other hand grips your waist, effectively pinning you to the door frame. "May I kiss you, cara mia?"

Copia inhales and starts to straighten up, "It's quite alright if you don't want to, cara. I do apologize if I made you uncomf-"
Snapping out of your thoughts, your arms snake around his neck and your lips crash into his. Immediately, his hands cradle the back of your head and your waist, keeping you flush against him. The way his mouth moves against yours is sinful to say the least; he's quick to use his tongue, tracing it across your bottom lip before giving it a quick nip with his teeth. It was masterful really.
Within seconds, your mouth was giving him access, his tongue desperately wanting to meet yours, which drew a small whimper from you. While he moved excitedly within your mouth, you were more hesitant. Stupid as it may sound, you weren't sure you wanted to tempt him more; you had already totally crossed the line and disrespected your Prime Mover.
You know Copia isn't the kind to cheat, but he's been so miserable lately, always arguing with her, only for her not to remember a thing because she's so intoxicated. She was always out at parties and hardly ever home, and when she was in his suites, she was practically out of her mind. He's been trying so hard to get her the help she needs, but she won't take it. She likes the money, the power, the drink and drugs her position can afford her more than the life she's made here in the Abbey. It's sad really, especially with the baby involved.
The heat of the kiss had simmered down a lot and Papa slowly pulls away from you, searching your eyes for what went wrong. "I'm sorry, Papa, I shouldn't have- It was completely inappropriate of me to-" You try to pull away from him, but you only manage to slide your hands down to his chest before his grip on you returns, holding you close.
He swiftly pulls you outside the child's nursery and lightly clicks the door shut, so as not to disturb him.
"Papa, I'm- I'm so sorry..." It barely comes as a whisper.
"For what, tesoro? Giving me the kiss that I offered to you first? Now that's the real slight against me," he quips playfully, giving you a warm smile.
You hated to admit it, but it felt so nice being held so close to him. He always smelled of expensive cologne, it was heady getting to take in the scent at such proximity. All that consumed your mind in that moment was laying your head on his chest, so you did. Forehead in the crook of his neck, your eyes flutter closed and take in the soft moment.
Rubbing gentle circles into your back, his voice rumbles against your ears, "You're probably sleepy, piccolina. Let's get you to bed." Without another word, he leads you right down the hall to the guest room that was all yours. You never really returned to the Sisters of Sin quarters since you were the full time caregiver to the Emeritus heir.

It was pretty rare to see Copia before he left in the morning. He was always up so early and home so late. This morning he was already dressed and face painted; you were sure he was getting ready to walk out the door any minute.
As you reach for the kettle to warm some water for the baby's bottle, you feel a large hand on the small of your back, and suddenly you're acutely aware of the fact that you are only in your silky nightgown. You hadn't had time to put on your habit this morning.

"Oh no, where's Daddy?!" you feign looking for him.
A burst of laughter comes from the little one when Copia reveals his face again. Peekaboo always did the trick.
By now the bottle would be warm enough, so the man slides an arm under his child, taking him from you. Quickly tossing him up in the air, the baby squeals happily, as he settles into his father's arms. As Copia reaches for a towel and the bottle, the infant points at you, "Mama!" It was the clearest word he'd ever said.
"Oh no, sweetie, I'm not-" you start, but Copia finishes it.

Copia kept to his word and stayed through the baby's entire morning routine, burping him, getting him washed up and dressed for the day. And of course he didn't leave you without a kiss.

Once he was done, your Papa insisted on you taking it easy for the evening. From pulling out your chair at the dinner table to fixing your plate, you weren't doing a thing. It felt unreal, like you shouldn't even be there if you weren't doing your job, but it also felt nice to have him doting over you, even if it was wrong. Copia even chopped some noodles really small for his son to try; Gio was going to be a mess later, but he needed a bath anyway.

He looks up from something he'd been reading over, a smile spreading across his face at the sight of you, "Ahhh, to what to I owe the pleasure? It's a long trek across the Abbey just to come see me." He stands up from his desk, taking the diaper bag and picnic basket from you and setting them down.
"Da-da!!!" the little one exclaims; he was getting much better at his words.
"Oooh, piccolino, come here," he replies, scooping him up too.
"He wanted to see you," you start, "and I did too... I know you haven't been able to be home as much as you want because of work, so I thought maybe we would bring lunch to you."
Paperwork had stacked up since he was taking more time to be home; he was taking this week to just try to push through as much as he could. But he's also making a plan to hire several assistants and delegate as many of these menial tasks as he can.
"Dolcezza... That is so thoughtful of you," he cups your cheek, giving you a quick peck on the forehead. "I think I could sneak away for a little while." He gives you a wink, bouncing the baby on his hip.

Out in the gardens, Papa plays with the child, keeping him occupied while you set up lunch. Watching the little one doddle across the grass, Papa towering over him but offering his fingers as support, warmed your heart; Copia had been trying to get him to take his first steps on his own, and he was hellbent on not missing it.
"Okay, boys, time to eat!" you call over to them.
Copia immediately scoops the child up, tossing him high in the air, watching him giggle the whole way. He does it a few more times as he makes his way over to you and the picnic blanket. "Sorella, this all looks so good. Grazie. I wish I could've been some help to you," he offers his gratitude as he sits next to you, baby in his lap.
"It's okay, Papa. We know how hard you've been working, and without you, this whole Abbey wouldn't run, so really I should thank you for making it so wonderful here."
He nods his head at you, silenced by your sweet words. "Still, grazie, cara mia."
Lunch goes by peacefully, enjoying the warm sun and the image playing out before you: Copia trying to get Giovanni to eat some cut up strawberries and the little one sputtering red mush everywhere, making a mess of himself and his father.
"You'll have to change your clothes after lunch," you giggle, taking a bite of your sandwich.
"Mm, what a shame... Won't he be taking a nap then?" Your Papa gives you a smug look.
You blush at his implication and look around to make sure no one could hear. "Papa..."
"Oh, don't be so coy, Sorella. You certainly weren't shy when you went down-"
"Papa!! Hush!" you whisper yell at him, hiding your face in your hands.
He waits for you to peek through your fingers at him, and you both burst out in laughter.

What was supposed to be a quick stop back in his suite of course turned into a heated make out session on the kitchen counter.
"Cazzo, Stellina, I would take you on the fucking dinner table right now if I could," he grunts, biting at your bottom lip.
"Hmm, guess you'll just have to daydream about it in your office, huh?" You tease him.
"I'll have you there, too, if I have anything to do with it." His hands pull harshly at your hair, smashing his face against yours again. Your tongues dance with one another as your fists crumple the fresh shirt he'd put on.
When you can no longer wait for air, you push yourself off of him, breathing heavy. "You're gonna have to fix your paint, you know that?" you chuckle.
"I can see that," he wipes some gray from your lip to show you.
You both fall into giggles again, staring into each other's eyes as you reluctantly release one another to return back to your duties.

"Mm, we've probably got a few minutes before little Gio wakes up, right?" Copia grumbles into your cleavage.
You swear this man will be the death of you. He finally gets a day off, to sleep in if he wants, and the first things on his mind this morning is pounding you into the mattress... Again. Like he didn't do that all last night.
"All you ever think about is sex," you chuckle, kissing the top of his head.
"When it's as good as you are, amore mio, sì. I think about it morning, noon, and night," he starts pressing kisses across your chest, grinding his growing hardness against your thigh.
"Copia-" you start, hearing a couple thuds down the hallway, "What is that? Do you hear that?"
Seconds later, a loud shriek comes from the baby's room. In an instant you're both jumping up to throw on some clothes.
Copia slips on some pants before bolting out of his room with you hot on his trail, tying on his robe. In the hallway, you're both confronted with Copia's Prime Mover with Giovanni on her hip and diaper bag slung over her shoulder.
"What are you doing?!" The man steps right in front of her to stop her from shoving further down the hallway.
"I'm taking him and we're going!! You've got some new life now, so we're gonna move on too!" She is clearly out of her mind, her eyes bloodshot like she hasn't slept in days and bruises all up her forearms.
"What are you talking about??" Copia attempts to grab the child from her, but she snatches him away, which only eggs on his crying.
"Oh, please! You think I don't know you're fucking the nanny?! I saw the condoms in the trash last time I was here, and now she's in your robe!"
Tears of anger build up in his eyes as he turns to look at you; he felt totally helpless.
It gives his Prime Mover just enough time to push past him and into the living area. "You just want to put me away so you can move on to your new life with your newer, younger little whore!"
"Do not talk about her! She cares for your child more than you do!! While you're out on the streets strung out, she's here, doing the job you took vows to do!" he shouts to defend you.
"That was before I knew you ran a cult! All of this is just some facade to make you famous! You're a selfish bastard, leading the blind just so you won't be lonely like when you were a kid," her words cut deep.
Copia clenches both fists, a fire you'd never seen in his eyes before, as he very evenly doles out, "Give me back my child and get the fuck out."
As if on cue, the little one reaches out for you, face red as tears stream down his face, "Mama! Mamaaa!!"
You step closer to her, wanting to reach out for the squirming little bundle in her arm.
"So you think you're his mama now?" she cuts her eyes at you.
"No, I- I tried to teach him... I would never," you stammer, not knowing what to do, "Please. Please just give him to me."
"What? Let you have my husband and my baby? I think not, bitch." She moves towards the door, but you move with her, body acting on pure adrenaline now. The child reaches out, little hands latching onto your robe, and you wrap your arms around him to slip him away from her, but her fingers lock tightly around his thigh, making him shriek once again.
"Please. Please don't hurt him!! Don't hurt him!" You raise your voice at her, holding the baby tight to your chest.
The next thing you know, Copia is letting Aether and a couple other ghouls in the room, and they swiftly pounce on her, pulling her away from you and the baby you care so much about. You look down to see that his little leg was already bruising from where she'd grabbed and twisted at his skin.
You held him tightly, bouncing him around and humming something to drown it all out as Copia and the ghouls dragged her out into the hallway. The antipope was absolutely seething, and you didn't care to know what he was screaming at her.
Looking out to the sunny balcony, you feel the urge to walk out there. Honestly it was probably to soothe you as much as it was for the screaming one in your arms. Before you can move a muscle, your lover bursts back into the room, making a beeline for you. Without a word, he wraps his arms around you and Gio, resting his chin on top of your head. Fighting back tears, he holds you like that for a while.
Finally comes a soft, "I am so sorry, cara."
Pulling away just enough to look up at him, you reassure him, "It's not your fault. Are you okay?"
"I will be. Please tell me she didn't hurt you," he brushes his fingers through your hair.
"No, she didn't, but we may need to have this looked at," you motion to his son's bruised leg.
A series of emotions flash across Copia's face upon seeing the injury. Part of him blames himself for ever letting that woman get close to either of you. But he also knew that without her, he wouldn't have either of you in his life.
"Well, she's not coming back. I won't let her hurt anyone here ever again. She needs help but I can't keep letting her come back, not when I have a son who needs safety and stability."

Months went by, and it felt like a whole new chapter for all of you. Copia officially separated from his Prime Mover, announcing it at Black Mass; he always felt transparency was important in his congregation. You had moved into his room permanently, and Copia had even hired another nanny to give you a break from time to time. He didn't want you feeling like caring for his son was the only thing you were good for. He also hired assistants for his office, Siblings of Sin who were honored to take some weight off their Papa's shoulders.
Now that the two of you had less worries, you almost didn't know how to fill your time. Almost...
"Your sidekick has Giovanni out in the gardens... What do you say we have our own playtime, eh?" Copia chuckles next to your ear as you recline back against his chest on the sofa.
"Do not call her my sidekick," you laugh at your lover, "She does just as much work as me, she deserves more credit than that."
"I don't know, dolcezza... She doesn't spend the night like you do."
"Oh, and look how much trouble that got us in," you smirk, turning to catch him in a kiss. "You're not going to start sleeping with the new nanny again, are you?"
"No, no, no, no, amore mio," he whispers right in your ear, "Il mio cazzo belongs to you alone."
You huff out a laugh, "That's all? Just your 𝘤𝘢𝘻𝘻𝘰?"
"Well, perhaps il mio cuore, too..."

"Please-" he whines in a way that was a little unbecoming of a Papa.
Your shirt drifts slowly to the floor, and Copia reaches out to touch you, but you swat his hands away. "I don't know, Papa. Maybe I don't mean enough to you. Maybe I should just go take care of the throbbing between my legs all by myself, huh? Make you sit out here and listen while I cry out, making a mess of myself..."

WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE
With the triumphant ‘So Much (For) Stardust’ capturing a whole new generation of fans, Fall Out Boy are riding high, celebrating their past while looking towards a bright future. Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump reflect on recent successes and the lessons learned from two decades of writing and performing together.

You have just completed a US summer tour that included stadium shows and some of your most ambitious production to date. What were your aims going into this particular show?
PETE: Playing stadiums is a funny thing. I pushed pretty hard to do a couple this time because I think that the record Patrick came up with musically lends itself to that feeling of being part of something larger than yourself. When we were designing the cover to the album, it was meant to be all tangible, which was a reaction to tokens and skins that you can buy and avatars. The title is made out of clay, and the painting is an actual painting. We wanted to approach the show in that way as well. We’ve been playing in front of a gigantic video wall for the past eight years. Now, we wanted a stage show where you could actually walk inside it.
Did adding the new songs from ‘So Much (For) Stardust’ into the setlist change the way you felt about them?
PATRICK: One of the things that was interesting about the record was that we took a lot of time figuring out what it was going to be, what it was going to sound like. We experimented with so many different things. I was instantly really proud. I felt really good about this record but it wasn’t until we got on stage and you’re playing the songs in between our catalogue that I really felt that. It was really noticeable from the first day on this tour - we felt like a different band. There’s a new energy to it. There was something that I could hear live that I couldn’t hear before.
You also revisited a lot of older tracks and b-sides on this tour, including many from the ‘Folie à Deux’-era. What prompted those choices?
PETE: There were some lean years where there weren’t a lot of rock bands being played on pop radio or playing award shows so we tried to play the biggest songs, the biggest versions of them. We tried to make our thing really airtight, bulletproof so that when we played next to whoever the top artist was, people were like, ‘oh yeah, they should be here.’ The culture shift in the world is so interesting because now, maybe rather than going wider, it makes more sense to go deeper with people. We thought about that in the way that we listen to music and the way we watch films. Playing a song that is a b-side or barely made a record but is someone’s favourite song makes a lot of sense in this era. PATRICK: I think there also was a period there where, to Pete’s point, it was a weird time to be a rock band. We had this very strange thing that happened to us, and not a lot of our friends for some reason, where we had a bunch of hits, right? And it didn’t make any sense to me. It still doesn’t make sense to me. But there was a kind of novelty, where we could play a whole set of songs that a lot of people know. It was fun and rewarding for us to do that. But then you run the risk of playing the same set forever. I want to love the songs that we play. I want to care about it and put passion into what we do. And there’s no sustainable way to just do the same thing every night and not get jaded. We weren’t getting there but I really wanted to make sure that we don’t ever get there. PETE: In the origin of Fall Out Boy, what happened at our concerts was we knew how to play five songs really fast and jumped off walls and the fire marshal would shut it down. It was what made the show memorable, but we wanted to be able to last and so we tried to perfect our show and the songs and the stage show and make it flawless. Then you don’t really know how much spontaneity you want to include, because something could go wrong. When we started this tour, and we did a couple of spontaneous things, it opened us up to more. Because things did go wrong and that’s what made the show special. We’re doing what is the most punk rock version of what we could be doing right now.
You seem generally a lot more comfortable celebrating your past success at this point in your career.
PETE: I think it’s actually not a change from our past. I love those records, but I never want to treat them in a cynical way. I never want there to be a wink and a smile where we’re just doing this because it’s the anniversary. This was us celebrating these random songs and we hope people celebrate them with us. There was a purity to it that felt in line with how we’ve always felt about it. I love ‘Folie à Deux’ - out of any Fall Out Boy record that’s probably the one I would listen to. But I just never want it to be done in a cynical way, where we feel like we have to. But celebrating it in a way where there’s the purity of how we felt when we wrote the song originally, I think that’s fucking awesome. PATRICK: Music is a weird art form. Because when you’re an actor and you play a character, that is a specific thing. James Bond always wears a suit and has a gun and is a secret agent. If you change one thing, that’s fine, but you can’t really change all of it. But bands are just people. You are yourself. People get attached to it like it’s a story but it’s not. That was always something that I found difficult. For the story, it’s always good to say, ‘it’s the 20th anniversary, let’s go do the 20th anniversary tour’, that’s a good story thing. But it’s not always honest. We never stopped playing a lot of the songs from ‘Take This To Your Grave’, right? So why would I need to do a 20-year anniversary and perform all the songs back to back? The only reason would be because it would probably sell a lot of tickets and I don’t really ever want to be motivated by that, frankly. One of the things that’s been amazing is that now as the band has been around for a while, we have different layers of audience. I love ‘Folie à Deux’, I do. I love that record. But I had a really personally negative experience of touring on it. So that’s what I think of when I think of that record initially. It had to be brought back to me for me to appreciate it, for me to go, ‘oh, this record is really great. I should be happy with this. I should want to play this.’ So that’s why we got into a lot of the b-sides because we realised that our perspectives on a lot of these songs were based in our feelings and experiences from when we were making them. But you can find new experiences if you play those songs. You can make new memories with them.
You alluded there to the 20th anniversary of ‘Take This To Your Grave’. Obviously you have changed and developed as a band hugely since then. But is there anything you can point to about making that debut record that has remained a part of your process since then?
PETE: We have a language, the band, and it’s definitely a language of cinema and film. That’s maintained through time. We had very disparate music tastes and influences but I think film was a place we really aligned. You could have a deep discussion because none of us were filmmakers. You could say which part was good and which part sucked and not hurt anybody’s feelings, because you weren’t going out to make a film the next day. Whereas with music, I think if we’d only had that to talk about, we would have turned out a different band. PATRICK: ‘Take This To Your Grave’, even though it’s absolutely our first record, there’s an element of it that’s still a work in progress. It is still a band figuring itself out. Andy wasn’t even officially in the band for half of the recording, right? I wasn’t even officially the guitar player for half of the recording. We were still bumbling through it. There was something that popped up a couple times throughout that record where you got these little inklings of who the band really was. We really explored that on ‘From Under The Cork Tree’. So when we talk about what has remained the same… I didn’t want to be a singer, I didn’t know anything about singing, I wasn’t planning on that. I didn’t even plan to really be in this band for that long because Pete had a real band that really toured so I thought this was gonna be a side project. So there’s always been this element within the band where I don’t put too many expectations on things and then Pete has this really big ambition, creatively. There’s this great interplay between the two of us where I’m kind of oblivious, and I don’t know when I’m putting out a big idea and Pete has this amazing vision to find what goes where. There’s something really magical about that because I never could have done a band like this without it. We needed everybody, we needed all four of us. And I think that’s the thing that hasn’t changed - the four of us just being ourselves and trying to figure things out. Listening back to ‘Folie’ or ‘Infinity On High’ or ‘American Beauty’, I’m always amazed at how much better they are than I remember. I listened to ‘MANIA’ the other day, and I have a lot of misgivings about that record, a lot of things I’m frustrated about. But then I’m listening to it and I’m like ‘this is pretty good.’ There’s a lot of good things in there. I don’t know why, it’s kind of like you can’t see those things. It’s kind of amazing to have Pete be able to see those things. And likewise, sometimes Pete has no idea when he writes something brilliant, as a lyricist, and I have to go, ‘No, I’m gonna keep that one, I’m gonna use that.’
On ‘So Much (For) Stardust’, you teamed up with producer Neal Avron again for the first time since 2008. Given how much time has passed, did it take a minute to reestablish that connection or did you pick up where you left off?
PATRICK: It really didn’t feel like any time had passed between us and Neal. It was pretty seamless in terms of working with him. But then there was also the weird aspect where the last time we worked with him was kind of contentious. Interpersonally, the four of us were kind of fighting with each other… as much as we do anyway. We say that and then that myth gets built bigger than it was. We were always pretty cool with each other. It’s just that the least cool was making ‘Folie’. So then getting into it again for this record, it was like no time has passed as people but the four of us got on better so we had more to bring to Neal. PETE: It’s a little bit like when you return to your parents’ house for a holiday break when you’re in college. It’s the same house but now I can drink with my parents. We’d grown up and the first times we worked with Neal, he had to do so much more boy scout leadership, ‘you guys are all gonna be okay, we’re gonna do this activity to earn this badge so you guys don’t fucking murder each other.’ This time, we probably got a different version of Neal that was even more creative, because he had to do less psychotherapy. He went deep too. Sometimes when you’re in a session with somebody, and they’re like, ‘what are we singing about?’, I’ll just be like, ‘stuff’. He was not cool with ‘stuff’. I would get up and go into the bathroom outside the studio and look in the mirror, and think ‘what is it about? How deep are we gonna go?’ That’s a little but scarier to ask yourself. If last time Neal was like a boy scout leader, this time, it was more like a Sherpa. He was helping us get to the summit.
The title track of the album also finds you in a very reflective mood, even bringing back lyrics from ‘Love From The Other Side’. How would you describe the meaning behind that title and the song itself?
PETE: The record title has a couple of different meanings, I guess. The biggest one to me is that we basically all are former stars. That’s what we’re made of, those pieces of carbon. It still feels like the world’s gonna blow and it’s all moving too fast and the wrong things are moving too slow. That track in particular looks back at where you sometimes wish things had gone differently. But this is more from the perspective of when you’re watching a space movie, and they’re too far away and they can’t quite make it back. It doesn’t matter what they do and at some point, the astronaut accepts that. But they’re close enough that you can see the look on their face. I feel like there’s moments like that in the title track. I wish some things were different. But, as an adult going through this, you are too far away from the tether, and you’re just floating into space. It is sad and lonely but in some ways, it’s kind of freeing, because there’s other aspects of our world and my life that I love and that I want to keep shaping and changing. PATRICK: I’ll open up Pete’s lyrics and I just start hearing things. It almost feels effortless in a lot of ways. I just read his lyrics and something starts happening in my head. The first line, ‘I’m in a winter mood, dreaming of spring now’, instantly the piano started to form to me. That was a song that I came close to not sending to the band. When I make demos, I’ll usually wait until I have five or six to send to everybody. I didn’t know if anyone was gonna like this. It’s too moody or it’s not very us. But it was pretty unanimous. Everyone liked that one. I knew this had to end the record. It took on a different life in the context of the whole album. Then on the bridge section, I knew it was going to be the lyrics from ‘Love From The Other Side’. It’s got to come back here. It’s the bookends, but I also love lyrically what it does, you know, ‘in another life, you were my babe’, going back to that kind of regret, which feels different in ‘Love From The Other Side’ than it does here. When the whole song came together, it was the statement of the record.
Aside from the album, you have released a few more recent tracks that have opened you up to a whole new audience, most notably the collaboration with Taylor Swift on ‘Electric Touch’.
PETE: Taylor is the only artist that I’ve met or interacted with in recent times who creates exactly the art of who she is, but does it on such a mass level. So that’s breathtaking to watch from the sidelines. The way fans traded friendship bracelets, I don’t know what the beginning of it was, but you felt that everywhere. We felt that, I saw that in the crowd on our tour. I don’t know Taylor well, but I think she’s doing exactly what she wants and creating exactly the art that she wants to create. And doing that, on such a level, is really awe-inspiring to watch. It makes you want to make the biggest, weirdest version of our thing and put that out there.
Then there was the cover of Billy Joel’s ‘We Didn’t Start The Fire’, which has had some big chart success for you. That must have taken you slightly by surprise.
PATRICK: It’s pretty unexpected. Pete and I were going back and forth about songs we should cover and that was an idea that I had. This is so silly but there was a song a bunch of years ago I had written called ‘Dark Horse’ and then there was a Katy Perry song called ‘Dark Horse’ and I was like, ‘damn it’, you know, I missed the boat on that one. So I thought if we don’t do this cover, somebody else is gonna do it. Let’s just get in the studio and just do it. We spent way more time on those lyrics than you would think because we really wanted to get a specific feel. It was really fun and kind of loose, we just came together in Neal’s house and recorded it in a day. PETE: There’s irreverence to it. I thought the coolest thing was when Billy Joel got asked about it, and he was like, ‘I’m not updating it, that’s fine, go for it.’ I hope if somebody ever chose to update one of ours, we’d be like that. Let them do their thing, they’ll have that version. I thought that was so fucking cool.
It’s also no secret that the sound you became most known for in the mid-2000s is having something of a commercial revival right now. But what is interesting is seeing how bands are building on that sound and changing it.
PATRICK: I love when anybody does anything that feels honest to them. Touring with Bring Me The Horizon, it was really cool seeing what’s natural to them. It makes sense. We changed our sound over time but we were always going to do that. It wasn’t a premeditated thing but for the four of us, it would have been impossible to maintain making the same kind of music forever. Whereas you’ll play with some other bands and they live that one sound. You meet up with them for dinner or something and they’re wearing the shirt of the band that sounds just like their band. You go to their house and they’re playing other bands that sound like them because they live in that thing. Whereas with the four of us and bands like Bring Me The Horizon, we change our sounds over time. And there’s nothing wrong with either. The only thing that’s wrong is if it’s unnatural to you. If you’re AC/DC and all of a sudden power ballads are in and you’re like, ‘Okay, we’ve got to do a power ballad’, that’s when it sucks. But if you’re a thrash metal guy who likes Celine Dion then yeah, do a power ballad. Emo as a word doesn’t mean anything anymore. But if people want to call it that, if the emo thing is back or having another life again, if that’s what’s natural to an artist, I think the world needs more earnest art. If that’s who you are, then do it. PETE: It would be super egotistical to think that the wave that started with us and My Chemical Romance and Panic! At The Disco has just been circling and cycling back. I  remember seeing Nikki Sixx at the airport and he was like, ‘Oh, you’re doing a flaming bass? Mine came from a backpack.’ It keeps coming back but it looks different. Talking to Lil Uzi Vert and Juice WRLD when he was around, it’s so interesting, because it’s so much bigger than just emo or whatever. It’s this whole big pop music thing that’s spinning and churning, and then it moves on, and then it comes back with different aspects and some of the other stuff combined. When you’re a fan of music and art and film, you take different stuff, you add different ingredients, because that’s your taste. Seeing the bands that are up and coming to me, it’s so exciting, because the rules are just different, right? It’s really cool to see artists that lean into the weirdness and lean into a left turn when everyone’s telling you to make a right. That’s so refreshing. PATRICK: It’s really important as an artist gets older to not put too much stock in your own influence. The moment right now that we’re in is bigger than emo and bigger than whatever was happening in 2005. There’s a great line in ‘Downton Abbey’ where someone was asking the Lord about owning this manor and he’s like, ‘well, you don’t really own it, there have been hundreds of owners and you are the custodian of it for a brief time.’ That’s what pop music is like. You just have the ball for a minute and you’re gonna pass it on to somebody else.
We will soon see you in the UK for your arena tour. How do you reflect on your relationship with the fans over here?
PETE: I remember the first time we went to the UK, I wasn’t prepared for how culturally different it was. When we played Reading & Leeds and the summer festivals, it was so different, and so much deeper within the culture. It was a little bit of a shock. The first couple of times we played, I was like, ‘Oh, my God, are we gonna die?’ because the crowd was so crazy, and there was bottles. Then when we came back, we thought maybe this is a beast to be tamed. Finally, you realise it’s a trading of energy. That made the last couple of festivals we played so fucking awesome. When you really realise that the fans over there are real fans of music. It’s really awesome and pretty beautiful. PATRICK: We’ve played the UK now more than a lot of regions of the states. Pretty early on, I just clicked with it. There were differences, cultural things and things that you didn’t expect. But it never felt that different or foreign to me, just a different flavour… PETE: This is why me and Patrick work so well together (laughs).  PATRICK: Well, listen; I’m a rainy weather guy. There is just things that I get there. I don’t really drink anymore all that much. But I totally will have a beer in the UK, there’s something different about every aspect of it, about the ordering of it, about the flavour of it, everything, it’s like a different vibe. The UK audience seemed to click with us too. There have been plenty of times where we felt almost more like a UK band than an American one. There have been years where you go there and almost get a more familial reaction than you would at home. Rock Sound has always been a part of that for us. It was one of the first magazines to care about us and the first magazine to do real interviews. That’s the thing, you would do all these interviews and a lot of them would be like ‘so where did the band’s name come from?’ But Rock Sound took us seriously as artists, maybe before some of us did. That actually made us think about who we are and that was a really cool experience. I think in a lot of ways, we wouldn’t be the band we are without the UK, because I think it taught us a lot about what it is to be yourself.

Better Off As Lovers

[Summary; You and Patrick have been friends since middle school and have been going to tours with him and the band to watch their shows. At one of the shows, Patrick decides to play one unreleased song he just so happened to write for you to confess his feelings. (I dunno this is kinda the summary but I'm also dumb as shit and can't make a correct summary).
[Notes; I felt like writing a little something for him as I've been wanting to for a while now, and here it is! And honestly, guys, if I end up wring more Patrick x Reader fics they're all most likely to be song fics or fics based off of some of the music videos, sorry but man I'm a sucker for song fics.
[Warnings; Some cursing and some bickering back and forth between Pete and Y/n over stupid stuff. Really really cheesy and unrealistic ig. Also Y/n is kind of really fucking stupid as well, but for the sake of the fic.

God, why are these tour bus seats so uncomfortable? You'd figure that because they were meant for people to sleep in, they would be more comfortable.
You get up and stretch, heading to the cupboard where the band keeps all of the snacks to look for your hidden stash in the back.
"Where the hell are they?" You say, muttering to yourself.
You continue to scrounge through the cabinet to try and find your two twin packs of Twinkies, only to give up and walk to where the boys were hanging out.
"Hey, did any of you guys eat my Twinkies?" You call out as you walk to where you can hear the boys talking; a curtain was the only thing acting as a door for the area.
Just as you open the curtain to the "room" (aka the six loft beds that were separated by just a curtain), you see Pete and Joe munching on your beloved creme-filled cakes.
"Are you kidding me?" You say, your mouth agape and eyebrows raised.
"I told you guys so."
The two boys look at each other and then at you, a twinge of fear apparent on their faces, the creme filling on the corners of their mouths, and the wrappers thrown onto the floor.
"You two so totally owe me two boxes of Twinkies, I mean it! One box from each of you two! How did you find them?! I hid them!" You flail your arms about towards the boys, the guilt becoming more apparent on Joe's face.
Pete and Joe shuffle in their spots, licking their fingers and corners of their mouths to get the creme off from their messy way of eating.
"Honestly, you're kinda bad at hiding stuff; it wasn't that hard to find them," Pete says with a shrug.
Patrick kicks his shin from where he was sitting from across, earning a hiss of pain and a dirty look from Peter.
"I'm gonna eat all of your fucking Blow-Pops." You say, leaving the sleeping area and heading back to the snack cupboard. You can hear Pete's shouts, telling you not to touch them.
Opening the cupboard, you immediately spot a party-size pack of Blow-Pops with a large piece of duct tape stuck on to the bag, big bold letters drawn with a black Sharpie reading 'PETE'S LOLLIPOPS!!! DON'T TOUCH!!!'
Pete really liked those things, and he would individually count them to keep track of how many he had, so that way, if someone decided to take one or two of them, he would know. Which is kind of insane of him now that you think about it. Actually, scratch that, Pete was insane—PERIOD!
You grab the bag and grab three handfuls of lollipops, shoving them into your hoodie pockets and putting the bag back into the cupboard.
"Give them back, Y/n!" Pete says, grabbing your shoulders just enough to keep you from moving.
"Hell no! Buy me back my Twinkies and then I might just give you all of them back." You say putting one hand into your pocket to take out a Blow-Pop.
"Those Twinkies were practically begging to be eaten by someone, man; come on, those were in there for days without being touched."
You unwrap the lollipop, pulling your hand up to pop it into your mouth, Pete's mouth falling agape as you do so.
"Was that one of the apple ones..."
You nod your head, taking it out of your mouth. "And I've still got more. And as I said, I'm not giving them back until you buy me back, my Twinkies,"
"God, fine! But promise not to eat anymore until we get to a gas station! Especially not the Apple ones!"
"Will do," You pop the Blow-Pop back into your mouth as he lets go of your shoulders, looking defeated as he walks back to the room all of the others were still in.
You smile to yourself, sitting back into the seat you were originally in.

You and the boys get out of the bus, heading into the gas station as the drivers fuel up. You immediately head for the drink section, looking for a can of Arizona tea.
What the hell man, where are they?
You continue to look for another minute or so until you finally give up, heading to the soda section where Patrick was.
You had somewhat of a crush on Patrick. You always have to be honest.
You went to high school with Patrick, so you've known him since sophomore year. You had a lot of classes with him too and often hung out with each other both inside and outside of school, making you closer to Patrick than you were to any of the other kids and considering him your best friend.
When he first started playing with Joe and Pete and officially being in a band with them, you started going over to practices with him, getting to know the two better, and when Andy joined the band, it was the same with him.
Now that you think about it, you have no clue how liking him could have been avoided. He's sweet and smart—a little awkward at times too, but nonetheless an incredible guy.
I mean, the whole reason why you started looking into learning some music technology was so that you could be with him more often. A lot of what you started doing was to get to hang out with him more often.
"Boo!" You say, grabbing Patrick's arm gently.
"N/n, there you are," Patrick says, turning around to look at you, holding out two cans of Arizona tea to you.
"What the hell, I just spent like, two minutes looking for these; where the heck did you find them?" You chuckle, taking one of the cans.
"I'll never tell.." Patrick chuckles, a cheeky grin on his face.
"Well, thank you Patrick. I appreciate your kind gesture very much."
Andy and Joe run by you and Patrick, with Pete doing the same shortly afterwards. Some screams and laughs came with that as well. You could see the cashier trying their best to make it through all the noise, with a look on their face that could only be explained as exhaustion and frustration, clearly not wanting to be at work.
You look at Patrick and sigh, knowing that you'll have to yell at the three once again as if they were children, regardless of the fact they were all older than you and Patrick.
You walk to the snack aisle, where you can see Joe and Andy crouching down, assumingly hiding from Pete for whatever reason, and walk up behind them. Andy had a bag of skittles in his hand and a sprite in the other, while Joe carried a twin pack of Twinkies—just as you asked him for—and a bag of chips and diet coke in his arms.
"What are we hiding from?" You whisper to the two, who jump slightly and look back in response.
"Pete," Andy replies quietly.
"Well, we've gotta go; you guys will have to finish this up some other time, preferably when we aren't in a public place."
You hear footsteps from behind and stand up, turning around to see Pete walking slowly, putting a finger up to his lips as to say "don't say anything," and you shake your head and mouth, "No."
"Come on guys, go check out we need to get back on the road," you say, turning back to Andy and Joe.
Pete groans and fully stands up, Andy and Joe doing the same.
"God, you're such a grump all the time, no fun," Pete says, walking up to the cashier.
Patrick comes up from behind you, putting his hand on your back. "Is everyone ready to go?"
You blush from the contact, nodding your head in response, and walk to the register where the boys were checking out.
"No, I paid the last time. It's Andy's turn to pay now, remember?" Pete argues. The cashier looked like he was about to snap; if it was a cartoon, steam would probably be coming out of his ears right now.
"I'll pay, fine dude, just chill out," Andy says, pulling out his wallet and handing the cashier his credit card.
The cashier puts their items into a plastic bag, and Andy grabs it and leaves with the other two.
You and Patrick walk to the register, putting your items down on the counter.
"Sorry about them by the way, they get rowdy sometimes," Patrick says, attempting to break the awkwardness by making small talk, leading it to get worse.
"Your total is $9.34," the cashier says with a deadpan look on his face.
The two of you pull out your cards and look at each other. "Let me pay for it, please; you had paid the last time, and it was almost 20 dollars," Patrick says with puppy eyes.
God, this guy always knows how to get his way with that look.
"Alright then, Pat. Thank you," You thank him, putting your card away.
Patrick pays and the cashier puts our stuff into a plastic bag, handing it to him, with him thanking the guy and telling him to have a good day.
You two walk back into the bus, and Patrick places the bag on the couch in the lounge.
"Do you want both of these in the mini fridge?" Patrick asks, taking one of the tea cans out of the bag.
"I'll have one now and save the other for later, if you can put one in though, that'd be awesome."
Patrick nods and puts one can and one of his sodas in the mini fridge plugged in next to the counter where the broken toaster sat. Now that you think about it, how long has that thing been broken? Why haven't any of us bothered to replace it?
You open one of the cans, walking into the bunk area, and sit on your bunk at the top, letting your feet dangle above the middle bunk.
"Y/n, here you go," Joe says, handing me two twin packs of Twinkies.
"Thanks, Joe. Here are your Blow-Pops back dickhead," you say, taking the wrapped cakes and taking all of the blow pops out of your pocket, handing them to Pete, who was sitting next to Joe.
"Jesus, dude, how many of my fucking Blow-Pops did you take?" Pete exclaims.
"A couple handfuls, I think," you reply, taking a drink of your tea.

"Alright guys, we've got a couple more songs to play; are you ready?" Pete shouts into his mic, earning cheers from throughout the crowd.
The boys continue playing a couple more songs.
The band had been playing for an hour and a half now, playing some of their newer songs from the newest album they were working on, those of which you had the pleasure of getting to listen to before they played them for others, as well as songs from Take This To Your Grave and From Under The Cork Tree. The crowd was singing the lyrics along with the band, enjoying all of it.
"This is the last song for tonight and is another one from the album that we're currently working on; this one me and Patrick worked on together is called Bang The Doldrums!" Pete says, wiping some of the sweat off of his forehead.
Patrick adjusts the strap of his guitar slightly, walking up to the mic. Him and Joe begin to play together, with the rest of the band joining in.
You listen to it for a bit, you hadn't recognised the name but you figured that they had probably changed it.
'I wrote a goodbye note in lipstick on your arm when you passed out,'
What the hell? I haven't heard this one yet.
'I couldn't bring myself to call, except to call it quits,'
This is great; why hadn't they shown me this one? They all sound amazing.
Patrick looks at me as he sings the next verse; his face tinted a slight red, maybe from how out of breath he was getting? God, he always looked so pretty like that.
'Best friends, ex-friends till the end, better off as lovers, and not the other way around,'
You listen to the lyrics; why did he look at me like that in that exact verse? Maybe I'm just going crazy.
'Racing through the city, windows down, in the back of yellow-checkered cars,'
You continued to listen, enjoying the sound of the way they were playing.
Then once again, Patrick looks at you, looking less nervous and giving a slight smile as he sings the same verse.
'Best friends, ex-friends till the end, better off as lovers, and not the other way around,'
You can feel your face rapidly becoming warm, oh?
You think for a bit, your mouth slightly agape as you stand still. You just hope what you think is happening and what he's implying is actually what it is. No, no way. You guys have just been friends since high school; there's no way.
'..in the back of yellow-checkered cars. You're wrong, are we all wrong?
'Best friends, ex-friends till the end, better off as lovers, and not the other way around, ex-friends till the end, better off as lovers!'
The song ends, and the band thanks the crowd before exiting the stage, allowing the stage technicians to begin striking and taking everything down.
You were still standing there as the crowd began to clear out. Shit, you should get to the boys. What do I do about how Patrick looked at me? What if I ask him about it and I'm totally wrong? Oh god, I'm screwed.
You begin to head to the door that lead to the backstage lounge, a security guard protecting it from letting anyone else in. The guard immediately notices you and lets you in.
You nervously walk to the same area that the boys were in, knocking on the door and hearing Joe shout, "Come in!"
You open the door and smile at the boys, who were sitting down, drinking water and using towels to dry themselves off.
Where's Pat?
"Hey guys! You sounded awesome tonight, what was with that last song though? I'd never heard it before." You greet, sitting down on one of the metal pull-out chairs across from everyone else.
"Thanks! We were going to show you Bang The Doldrums when we were first working on it, but about halfway through writing it Patrick had said something about waiting to play it at a gig instead, something about surprising you, I dunno," Pete says in response, taking a chug of his water bottle.
"Where is Patrick, by the way?" You ask, rubbing your hands on your thighs.
"I think he went to go and look for you actually; try ringing him or go and look for him; he's somewhere around here," Andy says.
"Shit really? I'll go try to find him now. Do you guys need anything that could be outside of this room?"
"Can you get us some more water? I'm still totally parched man," Pete asks, taking the towel he had on his shoulder to wipe his face off.
You nod and get up, leaving the room and closing the door to go and look for Patrick.
How on earth do you know where every place in this theater would be? This place is huge..
After searching around, you finally decide to go outside to check if he was in the tour bus by chance, only to see him sitting on a curb next to the door hidden from all of the different fans still exiting the venue.
"Pat? What're you doin' out here without a sweater on? It's freezing right now." You speak out, walking to where he was and sitting to the left of him.
"Oh, I went to look for you, and when I came out here, it was way cooler than it was in the theater, so I stayed out here to cool off a little bit," Patrick says, straightening his back and looking at you.
You nod in a way of understanding.
"How'd you like the show, though?" Patrick says, after a few seconds of silence.
"It was great! You guys never have a boring gig; everyone was loving it. What was the last song about though? I had never heard you guys play it up until just now." You say excitedly.
Patrick shifts slightly, looking away from you as his face flushes, now looking slightly embarrassed.
"I mean, it's not that it sounded bad or anything; it sounded great, but, during that chorus, you kept looking at me and, well," You say awkwardly, avoiding saying what you actually wanted to say.
It stayed silent for a couple of seconds before Patrick broke it.
"Sorry about that, I don't know if it made you weirded out or anything." Patrick says quietly.
"'Weirded out?' Pat I don't think you can really do anything to weird me out honestly. I didn't mind the contact all that much really." You lightly laugh, quietly mumbling the last part.
After saying that, you notice Patrick relax a bit, as if he were relieved and a little bit of a weight was off his shoulders.
"Y/n, can I tell you something?" Patrick says looking down at his shoes, his voice shaky.
"Yeah, of course," You reply, anxious for his words, yet somehow excited at the same time, wondering what they might be.
"This is going to sound so stupid, gosh. Um," Patrick chuckles, trying to calm his nerves as he twiddles his thumbs together, then proceeding with what he was saying. "I uh, would you hate me if I said that I really liked you, and not in a friend sort of way but um,"
You stay quiet for a few seconds, mouth slightly open and eyes wide. You're glad that it was dim in the little corner you two were sitting at so that he wouldn't see how red your face was turning.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said anythi-" Patrick apologises before getting cut off by you.
"Patrick, don't be sorry," You say.
Patrick furrows his brows, creasing his forehead slightly, turning to look at you with confusion clear on his face.
"You have absolutely no idea how long I've waited for you to say something along the lines of that," You continue, grinning widely.
Patrick's face softened, a small smile appearing onto his face.
"So, does that mean that, well, you know," He says, looking at some cracks in the concrete, kicking at a pebble aside.
"Yeah, it means exactly that, Trick," You put your hand on his shoulder, trying to get his attention back.
He looks back at you, smiling, his eyes that you looked into so often seemed to shine brighter underneath the dim light that the venue had over the door in the back that barely showed any light where you two were sitting.
Patrick brings a hand to your face, caressing your cheek. You lean into his touch, doing the same as he did.
His eyes glance at your lips for a millisecond, quickly returning to your eyes.
"Can I kiss you?" Patrick asks quietly, his voice barely above a whisper.
You nod your head and lean in as he does, fluttering your eyes closed.
Patrick closes the gap between the both of you, his breath warm. The kiss is soft and sweet, not pressed too hard against each other but still with passion. Your lips seemed to fit perfectly with his, as if they were made specifically for the both of you and just the both of you alone.
You two pull away, pressing your foreheads together, panting ever so slightly from the lack of oxygen the both of you got during the kiss.
There was a peaceful silence for a few seconds, you swear that if it weren't for the muffled music and talking of the crowd outside Patrick would've been able to hear your heart beating out of your chest.
"God, if I knew this would be the outcome I would've told you years ago," Patrick chuckles lightly.
You smile, now realizing that this wasn't a dream and that your best friend since high school really confessed what you dreamed he would for years now. That you two really kissed and it wasn't some guy that you pretended to love in hopes of letting your feelings for Patrick disappear, and you were so glad that your mind and heart didn't let that happen.
"Oh my god finally, you two are idiots," Pete says, standing on the steps that lead to the door to get backstage.
You and Patrick quickly pull away from each other, your face burning up quickly.
"What the hell do you mean 'finally'?" You say, looking at Pete in confusion.
"We've been waiting for you two idiots to finally say something to each other for years now,"
You look at Pete for a few seconds, the cogs in your head turning.
"What?"
"I mean, you two were so painfully obvious, I'm honestly surprised that you two didn't figure it out way earlier man. Oh! Wait, wait, who confessed first? Was it you Y/n?"
Joe and Andy walk out and stand next to Pete.
"Did it finally happen? Who said it first, do you know?" Joe asks.
You and Patrick stare at each other, completely baffled.
"Was it Patrick?" Andy asks.
You flush even more, looking back at the three, then quickly looking away.
"It was totally Patrick, I called it! Come on pay up you two,"
Joe and Pete groan, taking out their wallets.
"Did you guys place bets on us?" Patrick asks, getting completely ignored by them.
"How much was it again, I don't remember it's been like 5 years now," Pete asks, looking at Andy.
"I think it was either ten or twenty,"
"Can we just say it was ten? I don't have a twenty or two tens on me and I don't want to go to the ATM tomorrow morning." Joe says, rummaging through his wallet.
"Sure that works," Pete and Joe both hand Andy one ten dollar bill each.
"What the hell, was Andy the only one that thought I would confess?" Patrick says. He seemed more upset at the fact that Pete and Joe put their bets on you confessing first rather than him.
"Come inside, it's freezing out here and we still haven't gotten our waters yet," Pete says, holding the door open for Andy and Joe.
You get up and gesture for Patrick to do the same, walking to the doorway.
"I fucking hate you and I hope you know that," You whisper to Pete jokingly, proceeding inside with Patrick and Pete behind you.
"Love you too N/n.." Pete says sarcastically, walking to the table where a load of plastic water bottles were, grabbing three of them.
"I hate him," You say, looking at Pete walk away and disappear into the room the three were in before.
"Me too sometimes but honestly if it weren't for him I probably would have never said anything," Patrick looks at you.
"What do you mean?"
"He's the one that organized the whole plan of playing Bang The Doldrums and not showing it to you until earlier during the show," Patrick answers, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Huh, he told me you said something about not showing me until now. You know, maybe I don't hate him as much anymore now."
Patrick laughs, grabbing your hand and pulling you along to the table, grabbing two bottles for himself and you.
You smile to yourself, looking at your entangled hands then at him as he walked you to the room the boys were in.
You couldn't have been happier in all the years of your life up until now, and you wouldn't change or trade it for anything in the world. You were happy that you finally got to be like this with Patrick, the boy that was always so nice to everyone no matter what, the boy that knew exactly what to say if anyone was ever down, the boy that never left you no matter how difficult or bad it got.
This was the boy that you fell in love with since the moment you saw him, and he loved you back.

This took me forever to finish, and thank gods that I hyper fixated on FOB again (more than many times throughout the making of this fic,) because if not it wouldn't have ever gotten finished.
