Love in the Air: Sky’s Friendship with Rain
Sky is proving himself to be the best bestie throughout episode 4. He doesn’t involve himself too much - just gently comforts and nudges if needed, but ultimately allows Rain to come to his own conclusions and take action himself. Even though I’m dying to see Sky’s relationship with Prapai, I do really appreciate the attention they’re taking to flesh out Sky’s character via his friendship with Rain.
I’m interested to see how the tables will turn when Sky’s storyline with Prapai unfolds, and how Rain will support him in return. Prapai does initially ask Rain for Sky’s number, so I wonder if Rain intentionally encourages this ship to sail or not. As much as Rain can be a bit slow on the uptake, he must have questions and will almost definitely catch Prapai showing up everywhere all of a sudden.
I do lowkey love the thought of Rain and Payu playing cupid/wingmen behind the scenes to get their respective best friends to couple up though. Even more amusing if we get them being protective and bickering over their BFFs like ‘if your best friend hurts my best friend, there will be hell to pay’.
I’m also really curious how much Sky has shared about his ex with Rain? So far, Sky seems like the type to brush off his own problems and put others first. When he admits to Rain in ep2 that the source of information was his ex, he quickly changes topic. After the one night stand with Prapai (which currently takes place off-screen around ep3), Sky doesn’t even mention what happened to him at the race after Rain left, and nonchalantly shrugs the focus of the conversation back to Rain, “I’m fine but you’re not.” Rain also later says to Sky, “Don’t you like Prapai? He’s a kind person” - so we get the sense that Rain supports the idea and doesn’t see any obvious reasons why Sky wouldn’t be. (Which only further suggests to me that Rain doesn’t know too much about what Sky potentially went through and therefore why Prapai’s eagerness concerns him).
Sky has been an absolute sweetheart, and I’m sure Rain will be heartbroken when he gets a better understanding of what Sky’s been dealing with on his own.
Fun fact: according to Me Mind Y’s relationship chart, they’ve also cast a young Sky, which suggests we’ll be getting some form of flashback into Sky’s backstory.

Heroes To Villains
DILF Yandere Superheroes x Gender Neutral Superhero Reader CW: Noncon, imprisonment, minor violence, gratuitous amount of firearms, super powers, super soldiers, spitroasting, general yandere behavior, bratty reader Word Count: 3.8k (I am sorry this took a bit for me to get to, only took a few hours to write though. I hope you guys love it. Feel free to tip if you do~)
The city you were stationed in was under attack by some fairly destructive super villains. They were either traitors born of the same government program that had produced you and the other super soldiers you worked with or they were sent by another country to attack the retired super agents of your country. Though it was also possible they were a rogue foreigner with a vendetta. All the people making up your squad had been in the military and had made significant enemies.
Their goals did not really matter so much at the moment. It was more important that they were defeated before they caused any casualties.
There were two of them. One of them with an ability to lash out with streams of fire and smoke and another that could jump up really fast and high before slamming down and causing a large explosion on impact.
They were no match for you and your comrades. Red and Ace had handled much worse threats than these two with ease. Ace had been a top pilot before undergoing medical experimentation that left him with angel-like wings and the ability to shoot energy blasts from his hands. The man was like a living B-52. And Red was basically a human tank. Very little could so much as scratch his skin and he had tremendous physical strength.
Both of them had soared through the ranks and had distinguished themselves as competent generals in the last great war. Now they were retired and used their abilities as super soldiers to become heroes and protect the capital from the strange threats that had been unleashed during war time. Mostly the occasional villain. Sometimes a mutant animal.
You had just been a simple medic. Nothing too fancy, but you had hesitantly taken the opportunity to go through experiments that would allow you to heal others much more effectively and without the need for invasive surgery. Most of the super soldiers gained a unique ability and also became more resilient to damage and agile.
And you had gotten those perks too, but not to the degree as everyone else. Though you had gotten an extra ability that most people lacked. Hyper accurate aim with long distance weapons. But you also suffered a drawback when compared to your peers. You got exhausted easily, having very little stamina.
Who could forget the time you had saved the city by firing the railroad gun at the giant robot that used mutated biological components in its construction? Firing a 19,000 pound shell and obliterating an entire giant robot with one perfectly executed shot had been amazing.
You longed for that kind of usefulness again. But currently you were a bit bored, as a long range support unit you frequently hung back a bit. Red and Ace normally cleared everything up themselves without having need of your abilities.
Ace had plucked the hopper from the sky and injected him with a serum that would knock him out cold until he could be taken into custody where his abilities would be removed completely, if they could be. Red had similarly taken out the fire user who had discovered that his searing flames did little more than make Red sweat a bit.
They regrouped together before they started walking back to you, each carrying the limp weight of an unconscious enemy on their shoulders. It would be a few minutes before they got to the rendezvous.
You heard the gruff voice of Red on your comm line.
“We got em’ On our way back now.”
“Affirma-”
You were cut off by a sudden shift underground followed by a woman jumping up from the earth below you and punching you hard enough to launch you several feet.
There had been a third and they had split up to take you on individually.
As you fell through the air you took out your side arm and fired every round in rapid succession. Each one aimed for her heart. Each one hit their mark. But when you hit the ground you had smacked your head pretty hard and the world faded to black.
You woke up in a medical bed in the basement of your headquarters. You were quite dizzy and you felt like you were certainly going to vomit.
You held your hands to your head and your palms flashed.
Much better. If you hadn’t been knocked out you would have simply been able to heal whatever injuries you had sustained in a flash. Oh well you were better now.
Ace walked in to check on you right as you had been getting up. He burst into a smile at seeing you awake. His blue eyes full of joy.
“Hey runt! Glad to see that you’re getting up and about!”
“Who’s a runt!?”
He flexed his biceps to drive the point in.
“Red, get in here, The runt is up!”
You heard his loud steps reverberate upstairs as he bounded towards the basement door and came rushing down.
“It’s been five days, we were beginning to really worry about you, squirt.”
He was smiling but you could tell his red eyes held a lot of concern in them. It seemed like there was something he wanted to say but didn’t know how.
“Well, no need to worry. I am not as fragile as a regular person. And I am fully healed now.”
“Yeah… but you weren’t hit by a normal person. And you aren’t as durable as most of us…”
That was Ace.
“Yeah, yeah, I will be more careful, okay? I know my limits. I don’t need a lecture. I took the enemy down and I am okay now so we don’t need to linger on it.”
Ace put his hand to his face and his wings quivered in annoyance as they often do when he tries to lecture you and you just won’t have it.
You rolled your eyes and finally Red spoke up.
“This isn’t the first time you have gotten hurt on the field. Even with precautions like staying back you still end up injured!”
“What’s your point? It's a battle, injuries happen. At least I can heal.”
Ugh, an Ace lecture you were used to. You didn’t need both of them nagging at you.
You rolled your eyes as Red continued.
“Have you ever considered… going into another career? You volunteer at the hospital… maybe you could do that full time?”
That did it.
“Excuse me? I wasn’t in any command position, but I was a trained soldier all the same! I think I can handle myself!”
You stormed away from them and went up the stairs, slamming the door behind you. Assholes. Who were they to tell you what you should consider doing? It was your life and if you wanted to use it fighting genetically enhanced monsters and super-criminals then that was your right to do so.
It would become evident in the future that this incident was where everything started to go wrong. Going forward in battle they always had at least one of them at your side whenever it was physically possible for them to do so.
When you were eventually still injured even with that precaution, even though it was minor, they pressured you again to quit being a hero. They thought maybe you just were too attached to them to leave so they even suggested that you could still be their medic but you would stay on at the base. You could even still operate the railroad rifle that could fire shells from miles away whenever a large foe approached the city.
But you wouldn’t have it. Fuck them. You told them that if you had to form a new squad in a new city then you would do so.
They frantically apologized immediately so they let it go.
It was unfathomable that they would ever allow you to do such a thing. Go off where they couldn’t protect you even a little? Where some inexperienced whelp of a leader would surely get you killed? Not a chance!
But neither could they allow you to remain a front line combatant. Not after the injuries and not with how easily you became fatigued when exerting yourself.
The solution was ugly, but it was what it was. You left them no other option for your own safety.
Though it would make them criminals themselves they had to do it for your own good. They had to keep you here with them where you would be safe and secure. They could turn the base’s AI defenses to keep you here and make sure that you were safe. They could also have it alert them through their comms if you there was any trouble while they were on a mission.
You were laying on your bed with your hands behind your head. You stared at your ceiling and contemplated all that you had been through. The war, seeing comrades on the battlefield ripped apart with no way to save them as they bled out in agony. You had to protect people from that in every way that you could, and if you did die on the battlefield then that was fine by you.
The intrusion of Red and Ace barging into your room out of nowhere pulled you from your thoughts and you regarded them both with a scowl.
“What NOW!? Can’t you guys at least knock? I mean seriousl-”
Ace cut you off with a hand gesture for silence before Red spoke up.
“Listen squirt… we decided something. We can’t allow you to join us on the field anymore…”
“Didn’t you just apologize for saying that after I threatened to leave? Whatever, I am out of here!”
You hopped up to gather your belongings and set out at once, the mere sight of the two heroes making you want to go on a rampage, but Red pushed you back onto the bed, then Ace picked up where Red had left off.
“Well that’s not all, runt. We also decided… you can’t leave here either…”
You started laughing. It had to be some kind of joke. But the tension that filled the room told you otherwise. You looked from Red to Ace and the empty expression from Ace and the guilty one from Red told you that they were deadly serious.
You grabbed your sidearm and launched yourself at Ace, you weaved past Red and twirled yo get behind Ace and held your arm around his neck with your gun aimed at his head. You didn’t speak a word, your intention clear.
There was no way you would be kept here.
You couldn’t go for Red as small arms fire would bounce off of him, but at point blank range Ace was toast. You backed out of the room, pulling Ace along with you. He cooperated fully. Even a pair of overprotective psychos didn’t want their brains blown out.
Out of nowhere a robotic arm emerged from one of the sockets in the walls. It seized your gun and then Ace flipped your positions with him behind you.
They had reprogrammed the defenses of the base to not allow you to have a weapon. These two were not former generals for nothing. They knew how their adversary, you, would react.
You slammed your foot down on Ace’s and smacked your head behind him to hit his nose. Such weak attacks did nothing to dislodge you from his ironclad grasp.
“Stop this childish behavior and just accept things. This is for your own good. If anything this little outburst has proven that you need to be protected because you certainly cannot control your emotions!”
Red was in front of you, still looking at you with that guilty expression.
“I’ll go get your weapons from your room.”
Ace and you watched in the doorway as Red got a sack and rummaged through every single inch of your private space to look for what was now contraband.
“Come on! If you are going to keep me here at least don’t go invading my privacy like this!”
Much to your embarrassment you actually cried a bit as the large man went through all your things.
He started by removing your pistols from your weapon’s display case. Your Beretta M9, your SIG Sauer P320, you… dear god no… not your baby, not your Magnum Research BFR!
You thrashed more as you saw him take that one.
Then he moved on to your bookshelf. He took out your religious text from the shelf.
“Hey, keep your grubby mitts off of that! It’s sacred!”
“Yeah, Red, don’t you think you should focus o-”
He opened it revealing that it had been cut out and housed one of your many sidearms.
“Of course,” Ace said flatly.
When Red finished with all your pistols he moved on to the ones mounted on your wall. Your Mauser M 98, your Browning BLR, and your little Marlin 70PSS.
The rest of the search was much the same. All but one had been found. Red had to get a second bag for them all. The ones in your desk, under your bed, and the one in your mattress.
Well at least they hadn’t found your most precious gun-child…
“Okay I think I got them all. Nowhere else to search. Be truthful, did I miss any?”
You wiped the tears out of your eyes and lied convincingly. You tried to look as defeated as you could.
“No”
Ace moved the two of you out of the way so Red could take your weaponry to the armory. As he started to leave the room he noticed his footsteps sounded odd in one place.
He pressed his large foot down in the spot a few times, narrowing his eyes.
Fuck.
He bent down and realized he could remove the floor board under the rug in that spot.
He found it, the bag unzipped and your M1 Garand joined the rest of your firearms.
“NOOOO!!! That one is my favorite! It PINGS when you use it!”
Now you were truly defeated, they had gotten every single one of them…
“Holy fuck, how many did you need??”
Ace joined in.
“Yeah that’s all a bit… much…”
“If your only offensive power came from guns then you would make sure to have one near you at all times in case of infiltration or emergencies…”
Ace sighed and let you return to your bed in peace. Or what peace could be had in your glorified prison.
Later in the evening they knocked on your door.
“Hey, we made your favorite food for dinner! And made your favorite dessert too…”
That was Red, you could hear the nervousness in his voice. He knew you would hate him now. You ignored them.
“Come on, don't be like this, you have to eat!”
And that was Ace, insisting that not complying with his psychopathic behavior was childish.
You opened the door and took the food tray. Both of them smiled.
“There, see? We can all still get along. We worked very hard on that meal for you!”
You were sure that they had, they were both skilled cooks. You stared at them expressionless and slammed the tray into their faces before slamming the door.
Ace looked furious but Red held him back.
“Come on Ace… they just need to adjust…”
But you refused to adjust. You ate only when they were out of the house. As the days went by you didn’t speak a single solitary word to either of them, you may as well have been a ghost.
Well… it would have been. Had you not been doing your best to make them the two most miserable men on the planet. You destroyed all the toilet paper, clogging every toilet in the base with it, you destroyed the fridge twice, you broke the TV, tore the couch, the robotic arms stopped you, of course, but you could manage to do a bit of damage each time before it stopped you.
Even Red was getting annoyed with your behavior.
They had both tried everything to get you to behave. Punishments ranging from not eating anything but flavorless oatmeal for days to being forced to sleep in a bed with one of them so they could make sure you didn’t cause any destruction while they slept.
Finally they had had enough, things could not continue on like this and it seemed like you may never open your eyes and see that they were just trying to keep you safe. Without them you’d have ran right into the jaws of danger.
They discussed it among themselves and had one more idea. You needed to feel loved in every possible way. They loved you so much after all, that’s what all this had been about, to protect you because they cared for you. But clearly they needed to step things up a notch or ten.
When they came home that day they barged into your room and grabbed you, taking you kicking and screaming into one of the many spare rooms the base had.
They had outfitted it with a huge bed, the walls painted your favorite color, fresh roses filled a heart shaped vase on the nightstand.
“Let go of me! What did you drag me here just to give me a newer bigger room? A prison is still a prison…”
“It’s going to be…” Red started.
“Our love… nest…” Ace finished, blush evident on his face.
“No thanks. Fucking weirdos.”
“Come on, sex is known to alleviate one’s mood!”
“Yeah, just give it a chance”
Ace smashed his lips into yours and kissed you deeply, you looked at him stunned.
They were serious… You wanted to wretch… Fervently you struggled, trying to get out of Red’s grip but he handed you off to Ace who wrapped his wing around you and led you to the bed.
They took your clothing off before moving on to your own. All of you had scars due to combat and training, and you had seen them nude in the showers before, but this was different. For the first time you felt vulnerable and scared under their combined gaze.
You covered your genitals but they each removed and held one arm so they could appreciate the view. “Come on, don’t be like that. Nothing we haven’t seen before,” Ace whispered as he spread your legs apart.
“Red, did you bring the lube?”
“Yeah, right here.”
Red opened a bottle and lathered both of their growing cocks so that they were drenched with the stuff and then pressed some to your hole and massaged it in. They had no intention of letting this be a painful experience for you. They wanted to show how much they cared about you.
You tried to clench. To close yourself off from them. But the probing fingers would not be denied. You squirmed uncomfortably at the sensation of cold lube being worked into you.
“Try to relax, it will be much better if you embrace us.”
“FUCK YO-”
Red cut you off with a kiss. You tried to bite his tongue but his tongue was no more vulnerable than the rest of his body.
Two sets of hand roamed and pet, and groped your body. Gently caressing you as Red made out with you. When they felt as if they had explored every part of your body they flipped you on to your belly, with Red on his knees in front of you. His crotch level with your face.
Ace was behind you on his knees between your legs, holding them still as he wedged himself closer to your entrance, until the tip of his cock was kissing it.
You couldn’t kick because he had control of your legs. You couldn’t punch because Red had your arms pinned. Now they just had to plug your bratty mouth and you wouldn’t have any means of protest. Verbal or otherwise.
They knew you’d try to bite so Red took your mouth, claiming it with his cock. You tried to move and turn away but once Ace sank his cock into your sensitive depths you gasped in surprise so Red took the chance to put his cock in your soft mouth. He did not go in balls deep, neither of them had yet. They wanted you to enjoy it. To relax. Not worry about being hurt or gagged.
Red humped into your mouth carefully and slowly while Ace did the same behind you.
“Damn, for someone so opposed to it you fit me so well.”
Then Ace added, “Your mouth feels amazing babe. He used his thumb to draw lazy circles into your arms where he held them down. He sighed in pleasure when he felt the pleasured moans Ace was coaxing out of you. Much to your dismay.
But you couldn’t deny that it felt nice. Your body relaxed, just a bit, as the men slowly bred a bit of the stress you had been under out of it.
Now that it seemed that you were enjoying yourself, even though reluctantly, Ace decided he could speed up just a bit, rolling his hips as his cock dug further into you.
Red was going a bit faster too now that you had acclimated and stopped trying to resist so hard. He let your arms go, sure that you had finally realized how silly fighting was. The large man stroked your cheek as he continued thrusting into those sweet lips.
Ace was the first to cum, his wings outstretching fully and deep voice gasping as his large nuts filled you with wave after wave of his seed. His large cock twitched inside of you, pushing you over the edge and into your own orgasm.
Feeling all your muffled cries of pleasure right in his prick caused Red to start cumming. He pulled out, not wanting to choke you on his copious amount of semen that he knew all super soldiers produced in spades, instead cumming all over your face.
Ace pulled out of you and was the first to speak.
“There, that wasn’t so bad, was it?”
You didn’t respond, you were still panting from the workout you had just received. You didn’t protest when Ace pulled you into his lap and held you with your head nestled into his chest. Your head laying right on his hawk tattoo. You didn’t protest when red scooted beside him and kissed you tenderly on the forehead. You even let them clean you up and feed you your favorite meal that they diligently cooked for you while you waited politely on the couch. They figured your resistance to them before was just because you had needs that weren’t getting met.
And from that day forward they knew that anytime you got too snarky or rebellious all they had to do was make time to fuck the brattiness out of you.

A/N: Cause I'm in a soft, gooey mood. I'm thinkin of the Links being married.
Tumblr media
~~ Imagining Wild smiling so softly down at a letter, looking so love-strucked yet yearning at the same time. Of course, one of the boys called out to him in a teasing way, wanting to know what got him all head in the clouds like their fellow skyloftian knight. He huffs softly and replies with a voice filled with longing, "My spouse wrote me a letter, basically wishing me safety and sweet dreams of them to soothe me."
~~ First normally kept to himself about his s/o, wishing to keep them safe during his time in prison for 4 years. Pushing you away from Demise's grasp with one last kiss, as he headed off to fight hard and long til his last dying breath. Only to reawaken in a coffin, tumbling out and wondering where he was.
His first thought after was wonder of if you were alive and kicking. He rubbed his left ring finger in a panic, sighing in relief when the metal met his skin. The impression of your bright, sweet smile soothed him, made his heart beat fast until the sound of a screech reached his ears.
~~ The look on the chain's face when a body slammed into Legend was hysterical yet made him shy under their wide questioning gazes. He wanted to squirm out of your hold, only to halt when those eyes, filled with tears of relief and love made him melt on the spot. He softly sighed and rubbed their head while exchanging gentle words between them.
The ring on your hand made them choke in surprise; so those rings on his hands are for distractions, huh?
~~ Hyrule kept his ring on a necklace under his tunic, away from sight due to conflict. His head was always threaten to be on a pike, didn't help when he carried all three pieces of the triforce on the back of his hand. He was constantly hunted, he worried they would come to find you if they were to ever find out he was married to you. Yet alas, he would be found by Legend with him sitting there, idly messing with the ring around his neck, a far off look on his face and a gentle smile. Of course, the veteran was going to be curious of whom caught the dear traveler's heart.
~~ Four watched you idle around the living room, gesturing a flick of your wrist to who could lay where without the worry of stepping on somebody. He stares with his chin in his hand, smiling softly as you jabbered on about something to one of the Links. The colors laughed when you bickered and bantered with that Link before silencing at the sweet smile you quickly flashed over to him alongside a wink.
He covered his face with his hand, flushing red at the laugh that echoed in the home.
~~ Once again, he had his head in the clouds with a dreamy smile on his lips. Sky clutched the letter close to his chest and heaved a tranquil breath, his ears flapped wildly, almost imaginary hearts fluttered and popped around his head. Some of those groan, while the other laughed and shook their head at the lovesick expression on the skyloftian's face.
He raised the letter above his face, pressing a gentle kiss against the ink on the bottom of the page then one to the ring gracing his finger.
"I'll be home as soon as I can, my love."
~~ He was so giddy to be home. As one could be, he was always the composed and conscientiousness captain, but when given the opportunity to reunite with his love. Warriors is practically floating down the path to his shared home that the group is struggling to keep up with his rampant pace. He can't help himself! He needs to smooch his spouse! It's a crime to him to be away for this long from them.
The look on their face when he entered the house with a flourish yell of their name, made his heart soar.
~~ Time chuckled when you fussed over Twilight, tucking him in before glaring at the male when he tried to protest. His descendant looked at him with a silent plead for help, only to slump when the old man shook his head and made an 'x' symbol with his arms. He knew that butting in would not protect him from your glare too.
He rather walk straight into a pit of lava than face your glare head-on. Though he melts at the passing thought of you tucking your future child in, sternly telling them its bedtime and that rest is important. He makes his way over, pressing himself against your back, lacing his hand with yours and placed a kiss against your forehead.
~~ He was already suckered from the day you first played together when you were both children. From the shy glances to the shared giggles, to the sleepovers and to the shared secrets. Twilight knew he had to have you as his spouse when you jumped into his arms and kissed him without a thought after he saved Hyrule.
Even as he stared up at the night sky during his watch, he could still remember the sight of you walking down the aisle with a shy yet giddy smile on your lips. He rubbed the ring back and forth as the memories took over his mind, making the time go by fast til he was tapped out by the next watch. He falls asleep easily when his head hit his pillow, with a faint smile on his lips.
~~ He felt smug when the chain jaws dropped at the sight of him running towards his spouse yet ignores them as their squeals and giggles graced his ears. Fierce swung them around softly in the air before slowly lowering them in his embrace, holding them by their waist, closing his eyes and pressing his forehead against theirs. He purrs at the hands that cupped his face, sweet yet butterfly like kisses gracing his skin that soothe the ache that grew in yearning for their touch.
He felt them move away the white strands away from his forehead, placing a kiss against the blue 'v' shaped mark there. He retaliates by placing one against the ring on their finger before opening his eyes to them. Feeling himself melting in their ever so loving and gentle gaze, "You still look radiant, my dear jewel."

includes: ANGST, couples arguing, charlie basically being the family’s mediator and glue, some fluff, (let me know if i missed any!)
a/n: i’m on a hazbin streak omg 💁‍♀️
Tumblr media
“Lucifer, stop!”
You were in a fight for what seemed like the nth time in a month. It had been exactly 3,500 years since you and Lucifer were cast out of Heaven to rule over the hellborne and sinners. This kept your patience thin the entire month. Especially with Lucifer pushing and pushing for a better way to have sinners saved from exterminations and sending them to Heaven completely broke you.
“Just stop.” You lean against the railing of your balcony, hands gripping on the metal. “Heaven won’t listen to us—“
“They will if we just ask for a meeting.” He ran his fingers through his ruffled hair, growing frustrated at your unwavering discouragement. “We’ve done this before. They listened and—“
“LOOK WHERE THAT GOT US!” You throw your hand up in frustration, eyes flashing crimson for one second. “They cast us away for caring for the human souls on Earth! What are they going to do to us when we send sinners up to Heaven?”
“I don’t know!” Lucifer let his horns poke out, tail whipping violently. “I don’t know, but if we don’t try—“
“Mom?” A quiet voice came through the yelling match you and Lucifer started, making you both turn to the door. “Are you okay?”
You rub your temple before stepping away from the balcony, not sparing a glance at your beloved. “I’m fine, baby. Your dad and I are just talking.” You take her in your arms, running your fingers through her blonde locks.
She looked back at her father, watching him sigh before his horns and tail disappeared. “Is Dad okay?”
“I’m fine, apple pie.” He kissed her forehead, making her giggle at the feeling. “Can you let us have a few more minutes? We’ll come find you when we’re done.”
“Okay.” Charlie gave you both curious looks, not realizing the tense situation she walked in on.
You press a kiss to her temple, “Wait in your room, baby.”
Charlie silently left as you stood from your previous position. You moved back to the balcony, messing with the wedding ring on your finger as the wind blew roughly on your skin.
“My love, we have nothing left to lose if we take this risk and ask for our people to be redeemed instead of letting them die again.” Lucifer took your hands in his, speaking softly this time.
Your crimson and gold eyes meet his, “We risk Charlie, Lucifer. What if they take her away from us?” You shut your eyes, hiding the red sky from your sight. “I don’t know how I’m supposed to go up there and face the Heavens when my daughter is hellborne. What if the exterminations keep happening even if they accept your proposal? They might target us—“
“I signed the papers, they know they can’t touch the hellborne or our family.” He squeezed your hands. “Just—“ Lucifer let his head fall on your shoulder. “Let me try. If it doesn’t work, we’ll come up with another solution.”
“Luce…” You murmur, blinking back the tears from the fear of losing your family. “I can’t lose you or Charlie.”
“And you won’t!” He cupped your face, frowning at your words. “You will never lose us. I promise, beautiful…” He rubbed your cheek, “I know you hate the Heavens for casting us here. I know you hate being here. But these souls are our people. We have a duty to protect them.”
“Lucifer…” You sigh and hold his hands in yours. “You need to listen to my reasoning. What if the Heavens refuse to do this and make the exterminations worse than they already are? We can’t know what they might do to our people! To our daughter!”
Lucifer removes his hands from you, “Can you just listen to me?” He walks toward the other end of the balcony, leaning against the railing. “This is a situation where we never know what’s going to happen. It might be good, it might make things worse. But we can’t know unless we try.”
You watch him run his fingers through his disheveled hair, knitting your brows at his actions. “Okay.”
“Okay?” He nods slowly, looking up at you. “I can do it?”
You nod, wringing your hands together. “I trust you… If you say we’ll be okay then… You can go through with your plans.”
“Thank you, my love.” He took long strides over to you and scooped you up in his arms, peppering kisses over your face. “Thank you.”
“Mhm.” You smile and thread your fingers in his hair, “Let’s go find Charlie, darling.”
“Our caring little girl.” He nudged your cheek with his nose. “Who might be as strong-willed as her mother.”
“Hush.” You press a soft kiss to his lips.

Can you write where Dabi captures the reader and fucks her. But she thinks that if she would fight back it would hurt more so she just tries to close her eyes and disassociates. But Dabi sees this and not having it. He's like 'thanks for not fighting but your gonna stay with me while I fuck you. And since your so submissive I'll make you feel REALLY good'. Kisses her nose softly and proceeds to fuck her to almost a mind break.
A/N- sorry I've been M.I.A, I had the flu 😞 but thankfully it's gone and I'll be able too put out more content
TW- NONCON, abuse, brief mention of panic, self-blaming, blood, brief mention of a wound Being a hero was something you've always dreamed of, your whole family were heros. Your father was a pro and your mom was low-ranking but still amazing nonetheless. She only quit when she became pregnant with you, but your mother was an inspiration to you, always had been. So, when you graduated from UA and got your hero license it was the happiest day of your life. Your father took you to his agency, put in a good word for you. You were the shining star of his agency, climbing ranks pretty quickly and gathering a fan-base even quicker. Now, this wasn't your first patrol, but it was a new area. It sounded easy enough though, plus this was your first patrol without your father even though he had basically pleaded to come with you.. but this was your chance too show him you didn't need to be babied and you could protect yourself so you declined his offer and shut off your phone. You hadn't heard or seen any major villains in the area anyway. So, what could be so hard about walking around the city looking out for danger. Tokyo was so beautiful at night too, lovely pink sky tonight, no clouds in sight with birds soaring and chirping. It was so peaceful, you highly doubted that anything bad would happen
The air smelled pure, a nice beautiful breeze blowing your hair around, until... it started to smell smokey and your view of the rosy sky was obscured by azure flames, the extreme heat too close to your skin causing you to stumble backwards into a hard chest as a hand claps tightly against your mouth and nose. Cutting off the air flow to your brain and squeezing your cheeks together as your dragged into an alleyway away from the quiet street. You try to struggle against the man but you can't breathe and you're starting to panic, your nails clawing at his hand gather blood under them. You hear the man hiss in pain before your thrown into the brick wall, hitting your head off of it and falling to the floor as blood drips from the the on your temple. Trying to stand up proves to be more difficult then you thought as your vision turns blurry and your wound aches. You're gasping you realize, trying to suck in as much air as possible before you're kicked in the stomach and thrown a couple feet. You can't breathe in anymore as you groan out, the air coming out in choked huffs. Then he's on top of you, fisting at your hair as you try an' catch your breath, pushing at his chest but he just shoves you back down effortlessly. When your eyes do finally open, they're met by heated sapphire, staring you down and observing you. You quickly recognize the man, from the burn scars and blue flames, this probably the worst possible situation for you, you've heard of Dabi and he doesn't [lay very nice with people. "It's best if you stay down little hero, unless you want to be in the burn unit for awhile... that is if you don't turn to ash first." He laughs in your face, staples stretching as grins far too wide for it too not hurt. Your thrashing ceases at the threat and he hums at you, running a hand down your face wiping the blood from your head. "That's all it took to get you to behave? That's pretty sad, so obsessed with that pretty face you won't fight me?" You try and turn your face away from him but he just moves it back and stares you down, his eyes getting darker as he does so. "If you're.. gonna kill me just do it, I'm not giving you information," you breathe in between your sentence, trying to slow your heart rate. He mockingly pouts at that, before leaning towards your ear and breathing down your neck. "Oh, you are gonna give me something.. just not information doll." He counters, pulling away and sitting on your thighs and pulling up your shirt. You swallow, knowing exactly what he's insinuating, letting your head fall back on the concreate as you squeeze your eyes tight and go limp. He coos at you, pulling up your shirt above your breasts and pulling down your bra, so it sits below your tits. 'It's best too let it happen, maybe he won't kill you if you behave and keep quiet, he can't be for long since there will be other heros coming to patrol the area soon, it'll be over quick.' You chant in your head as you try to block out the sound of him unzipping his pants and the jingle of his belt being undone. Trying too escape into your head doesn't work for you though, when he notices that hazy look in your eyes as you go quiet, he slaps you across the face.
"I don't fucking think so, you think you can escape me using that little head of yours? You're gonna look at me while I fuck you and your gonna thank me after, you understand me?" You nod at him as you cradle your red, stinging cheek. Tears clouding your eyes as they become leaky with salty tears as you attempt to muffle your cries. He finishes undressing you, pulling your panties to the side and spitting on your cunt before pumping his cock and slipping inside. He sucks in a breath through his teeth as his head falls back and he growls out in contentment. His hands shoot to your hips as he maneuvers one of your legs from underneath him and over his shoulder. "Fuckin' Christ you're tight, soft little pussy sucking my cock in so good, don't worry I'm not going anywhere," he mocks, a dark chuckle slipping from his lips as he starts to fuck into you. His pace has no rhythm as he just humps at your cunt, a spit-coded finger coming down to rub at your clit in messy circles, slapping at the sensitive bud a couple times when you try to look away from the intensity his eyes provide you with. He leans down and coos at you when you whine, kissing at your cheek and nose, grinning when you make no attempt at moving away. He's so rough, pounding at your cervix and panting in your ear, biting down on your neck. "Just like that, squeeze me tighter baby.. mm fuck- best pussy I've ever had, 'ts fuckin' crying for me... mmph, you might not like me but she sure does, I'll make sure to give 'er a little gift, hm? You think she'd like that? I think she would, I'll cum in you just for her, yeah?" You can't think anymore, head too cloudy as your senses become overstimulated from being fucked like a toy, fuck you really should' ve listened to your father and let him come with you, this wouldn't have happened if you hadn't been so quick to go off on your own and act like a pro, your eyes start to close before you can pity yourself anymore and everything goes black.

♡ how they love ♡
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-> what kind of love do the genshin men and hsr men give?
Tumblr media
A fiery, burning love
Kaveh, Itto, Childe
They'll overwhelm you with their love. Their gestures, displays of affection, words, and gifts to you would all be grand; and whether you two are arguing or making love, everything would be full of passion. Nothing would ever be lukewarm with them. They're the types that pour their hearts and their souls out to their lover. They'd basically have an "all or nothing" mindset when approaching matters of the heart.
A romantic love
Venti, Heizou, Jing yuan, Sampo
They would be chivalrous and big on doing things that would make you swoon and would have you feeling butterflies. They'd believe being in love should make one feel like they're soaring in the sky, full of ecstasy and excitement, so they'll make it a point to make you feel that way as your lover.
They might wrap their arm around your waist or keep their hand on the small of your back as you two simply walk together, they might whisper lowly into your ear, knowing how the seductive tone of his voice and the heat of his breath hitting your skin sends tingles up your spine. Maybe even letting his fingers ghost over certain sensitive spots that would have you yearning for more; to which, he'd gladly give.
A quiet love
Alhaitham, Dainsleif, Cyno, Tighnari, Albedo, Ayato
Their kind of love isn't the type that is expressed directly or brazenly through fancy words. They wouldn't really feel the need to be all romantic in order to show that they love you. Instead, they'd prefer letting their actions speak for themselves. They'd rather show their love through subtle gestures, doing things that would help you in any way, whether it's helping you finish a task you've been struggling on, or remembering certain things that make you happy.
They might not verbally say "I love you" so often, but the kisses and acts of service that they'd provide would tell you that they indeed did.
Loves tenderly
Zhongli, Kazuha, Baizhu, Thoma, Gorou, Luocha, Welt, Gepard
They would love with such admiration in their hearts for you. They would look at you dearly, embrace you like you're the most precious thing in the world. They would be extremely patient, kind, and considerate with you. Heck, they'd always thinking of you: wondering how you are, if you've eaten enough today, if there's anything that's troubling you, or if you're tired. He'd want you to lean on him for rest or for anything.
Loves hesitantly
Xiao, Scaramouche, Diluc, Kaeya, Dan heng, Blade
They're going into waters that they aren't used to, but when they feel that they're able to truly love you and be vulnerable, it'll be so special, so sweet, and so protective. They would hold you close, keeping you by their side as much as they could, in fear of ever losing you. If they have to, they'd follow wherever you'd go because they'd be that devoted. Once you've became theirs, they will become yours. And for as long as they live, they'll protect and guard this relationship you two share with all that they have.

Oh Lix, I do have some soft thoughts on him. Also thank you to @zehina and @atinyniki for sharing some ideas🖤

Felix thrives on skin contact, he'd stay right in your arms forever if he could. If you're comfortable with long hugs, subtle touches, holding his hand, or playing with his hair, then you become the source of his energy. He comes to you when he needs to recharge. He hugs you tight, plants himself on top of you, or holds your hand for hours. It doesn't really matter as long as he can feel your presence, your body warm against his.
If none of you is on a diet, he'll shower you with tasty goods. He can't stop spoiling you by baking all sorts of things you love so much. He has accepted his fate, getting called "Brownie boy" by you whenever he ends up in the kitchen baking. Felix knows how much you love those brownies and cookies, so of course, he always keeps some around. What's even better is if you join him, helping him mix the batter and making a mess with him between giggles and playful fights.
Felix is an enthusiastic gamer. The first time you ask him to play with him, he is over the moon for you. He shows you the basics and thinks you're even sweeter than before. If you don't feel like playing yourself, he enjoys keeping you in his lap, claiming you're his lucky charm. He might've cried a little when you offered to help him build his own equipment.
Lix's soft soul is something that needs to be protected, and he hasn't met many people who are as protective of him as you are. He lets you in, allows himself to be open about his feelings with you, and knows you'd never judge him for anything. You're his safe place when he feels like everything is crumbling down around him.
Felix's smile is the most beautiful thing you've ever seen. The way his freckles seem to crawl up into his eyes, illuminating them like stars painting the night sky, steals your breath every time. He's so genuine and easily smiling whenever he watches you doing the most basic things, it makes you swoon.
Lix can get a little emotional at times, never fully believing he deserves the love he receives from his friends, fans, and especially not you. Whenever those big, soft eyes fill with tears, he comes to you, gently tugging at your sleeve and curling up in your arms without any further explanation. He doesn't have to because you already know.
That is why whenever you're upset or feel undeserving of love, his heart breaks with yours. He pulls you into his arms, kisses your hair and fondles your head, gently rocking you in his arms. He whispers little secrets and sweet nothings into your ear, trying to show you how much you mean to him. He knows he isn't the problem here, but it wrecks him thinking you'd even consider him not loving you.
You're in love with that stunning face and Lix knows it. It hasn't happened only once you've made him sit on the counter to do his makeup. You love those little moments, accentuating your boyfriend's natural beauty like that. He loves letting you paint his lips, adorn his eyes with glittery eyeshadow or go wild with little stick-on gems below his eyes. You always wear such a happy smile on your face he would never deny you these small moments.
Lix loves shopping with you, since he obviously wants to look his best for you and spoil you at the same time. So buying new fits together is always fun. He gets to know your taste in clothing better and sometimes you surprise him with a color or piece of clothing he would've never thought of wearing before. The joy in your eyes when you find something for him makes him melt into a puddle right there.

Forbidden love— Max verstappen x Norris!sister reader rewrite
(I’ll do a short part two of Lando’s reaction)
If this seems familiar that’s because it is i kept a lot of the first two part and combined it I deleted the original part three because I hated it and basically rewrote that

Forbidden love
Max knew it was wrong. You were his best friend's younger sister. You were only 20. He was 6 years older than you, if anyone were to sit him down and ask him why he loved you he would say it’s the way you’ve always been kind to him or the way your eyes light up when you talk about something that makes you happy. He knew it was wrong and what made it worse was your brother who was extremely protective of you. Lando didn’t want you to date any of the drivers or any of the drivers dating you; he just didn’t want you to end up getting hurt, and that physically hurt Max that he couldn’t be with you.
The first time Max met you he was 12 and you were 7, he had a really bad race and his father was angry and was taking it out on everybody but Max was getting the brunt of the anger. It took Max a while to get away from his father. Max had gone to take a breather in between two buildings. He didn't notice you were there until he looked up and saw you. When Max stood up and looked down at you, you just smiled and gave a hug and a sticker and ran off to find your brother and father.
That moment that you gave him that hug and sticker in 2010 was the moment he started loving you. He was always shy and didn't want anyone to see his soft side but you were the only one who he felt safe to show his vulnerable side. Over the years he developed a little crush on you and would smile whenever he thought of you or your name got brought up.
A year later Max had found himself at a karting race. It was your first and you had come in second. Max thought that was impressive for an 8-year-old girl who was racing against a bunch of boys who were 1 year older than her. Max saw you had talent because he saw the same amount of talent in your older brother Lando. You were good and Max hoped and prayed that maybe one day he'd have a chance to race against you in the future.
Max wasn’t going to admit it to anyone but he did follow your racing career and now you were going to Williams Racing as Alex Albon's teammate Max was happy he could see you more often and he had an excuse to talk to or try to talk to you. It'll be hard knowing that Lando would be with you 24/7 but it was a chance he was willing to make.
The only person who knew of Max's crush on you was Daniel who never judged him about his feelings for you even if you were 7 years younger than Max. Daniel thought you were what Max needed in a partner so he came up with the idea of distracting Lando at the welcome party he was hosting so Max could shoot his shot with you without your guard dog of a brother.
Once getting to the party Max and Daniel split up with Daniel hunting down Lando and Max looking for you. Max found you talking to Alex’s girlfriend Lilly his heart sped up at the sight of your smile and the sound of your laughter it made him feel like a teenager again with butterflies in his stomach.
Max looked back at Daniel who was distracting Lando in the kitchen, Max took his chance and cut into your conversation.
“Excuse me Lilly but can I steal y/n for a minute?”
“Of course Max I got to find Alex anyways we all know he’s a lightweight ”
“Hi Max, how are you doing?”
“I’m good y/n how are you?”
“I’m not gonna lie, I'm a little nervous?”
“I don’t blame you I was too nervous I was seventeen when I raced my first F1 race it’s normal”
“Would you like to step outside?”
“Yeah I could use some fresh air”
Max walked with you outside to the balcony, the crisp cool air felt nice on his burning skin. Max watched as you looked out over the ocean. He thought you looked beautiful under the pale light of the moon. It brought a tiny smile to his face and when you noticed it you just smiled looking at him and asking what he was smiling at.
“I’m not going to lie Mooi meisje I’m looking at you”
Max watched as you fought the smile on your face as you blushed hard.
“Thank you, Max”
“I was only speaking the truth but you’re welcome”
In Max's opinion everything was great when you started getting cold he gave you his jacket to keep you warm. The two of you talked about everything you could think of until Daniel sent Max a text saying (Lando was on the move looking for y/n). Max frowned at the text; he didn't want the night to end; he enjoyed your presence. The two of you practically jumped at the sound of the sliding glass door ripping open as Lando stepped out of it with Daniel following behind, Daniel shot Max a sincere look.
“What’s going on out here?”
“Nothing Lando we’re just talking”
Alright well Max I think it’s time for you to go”
“Lando don’t be like that”
“No no, he’s right I should be going I have a team meeting tomorrow I’ll see you later y/n
Max walked past Lando back inside the apartment with Daniel who just patted him on the shoulder.
“You’ll get next buddy just be patient”
“With Lando always by her side, I might as well give up now”
“Come on don’t say that just be patient”
If one thing was widely known about Max Verstappen it was his lack of patience it was just something he'll have to work on.
Even if he had to wait a lifetime he would…
From the young age of seven years old y/n Norris had always had a crush on the older verstappen boy. Even if she didn’t understand what love truly was at that age it was just something about him that drew her in. Maybe he was determined to be the best in Formula One or it was that she tried not to get lost in his blue eyes.
You had watched as Max took the opportunity to get away from his father. You followed him into the alleyway and tapped him on the back. Max turned around and looked down at you. Little seven years old you felt your heart speed up and your hands started to sweat. You took a deep breath, handed Max a Spiderman sticker, and walked off. What seven-year-old you didn’t see was how Max smiled and stuck the sticker on the inside of his helmet.
A year later you entered your first carting competition where you placed 2nd against a bunch of boys who were 1-2 years older than yourself. You were walking back to your father and brother when you ran into Max, he congratulated you on your second-place win before running off to his father. You turned red in the face at the compliment.
Now you're 20 years old and driving for Williams Racing. Wearing your black pants and blue Williams shirt you went and did your introduction video for the fans.
You sat down in the chair next to Alex who was going to be asking the questions.
Alex- Don’t be shy to introduce yourself
Y/n— hello everyone I’m Y/n Norris and I’m the second-seat driver for Williams racing
Alex— perfect ok let’s start with who's your favorite F1 driver and why?
Y/n— easy, that's Kimi Raikkonen, and why you ask because he doesn’t expect me to talk about my day. We could sit in a room and not talk about anything. It's a comfortable silence which I like.
Alex— I saw that coming you have a blanket with his face on it. OK next question, what is your favorite racetrack?
Y/n—Zandvoort circuit. The overall vibes of the people are just immaculate. It's all good vibes, everyone's so nice and welcoming.
Alex— interesting and not to mention you and your brother can eat your weight in stroopwafels
Y/n— that's true.
Alex— last question: what is your goal for this season?
Y/n— to win I don’t care where I just wanna win.
Your phone buzzed and you pulled it out of your pocket to find that it was a text from Max. You smiled as you got the message which said “Good luck for today hope you have a great testing session” and you sent a message back saying “Thanks hope to see you after” You smiled to yourself again as you put your phone away but then your face faltered as the thought came to mind that you probably wouldn’t be seeing him today but maybe you can always hope.
“Alright, do you wanna get suited up and meet us at the garage for a test drive?” Alex asked.
“Hell yeah give me 10 minutes,” you say rushing off to your driver's room to change into your fireproofs.
Walking out of your driver's room dressed in your blue Williams racing suit you pulled your balaclava on and then pulled on your helmet. Once you were ready you climbed into the car and the mechanics
Started buckling you in. Getting the green light you pulled out of the garage and onto the track.
Engineer— how does it feel kid?
Y/n— amazing
Engineer— how does the car feel?
Y/n— driving smoothly
Engineer— All right give it a couple of laps and come back to the garage.
Y/n— copy that
You went around the track a few times before having to pull back into the garage, turn off the car, and climb out. You see Lando who has a big smile on his face.
You walk over to Lando who looks at you with a big smile. He wrapped you in a tight bear hug which made you laugh a bit. “You did great sis I’m so proud of you” he whispered into your ear before letting go.
“Thank you, Lando”
“You’re welcome oh I’m throwing a party for you tonight so I just wanted you to let me know so you can mentally prepare yourself for tonight”
“Oh ok thank you for telling me who's all going to be there?”
“Some of the guys from the grid and their girlfriends that’s all”
“Oh so not that many people”
“Yep I figured that I’d let you know beforehand anyway I need to get back to McClaren I’ll see you tonight,” your brother said hugging you before running off.
You walked off to your driver's room to change out of your fireproofs before meeting with your engineer and mechanics to make some adjustments to the car.
John— OK kid tell me what you think of any adjustment we need to make.
Y/n— yeah, it kinda felt like the DRS flap was sticking a little, it was lagging a bit. Other than that the cat felt fine.
John— Right I’ll check it out and your PR manager needs you. I think she said you have one more interview to do before you're done for the day.
Y/n— alright I’ll see you tomorrow thank you for telling me I better get going before Shelly loses her mind.
You ran out of the garage to your motorhome where you knew that Shelly, your PR manager was waiting for you. Looking down at your phone texting Shelly you were on your way when you bumped into someone causing you to fall but you never felt the ground thanks to the hand gripping your arm.
“Are you okay?” Looking up you see Max and his teammate Checo looking down trying to hide your blush, You look back at the two.
“Yeah, I’m okay I’m just late meeting my PR manager and I’m late for my last interview for the day,” you told them.
“Well I’m glad you're okay,” Max said, letting go of your arm.
“Thank you for not letting me bust my face open but I need to get going,” you said, running off not hearing as Checo teased Max about his crush.
You rush to your motorhome and walk inside where you see Shelly waiting for you with her face buried in her phone. As you walk near to her she looks up and smiles at you “About the time I was ready to send out a search party for you I thought you were kidnapped”
your PR manager told you that you still had an interview left with Jenson Button which was easy to talk to because he respected you and believed that you have what it takes to be the first female to win a world championship with F1 one day.
Jenson- there she is I was begging to wonder if you forgot about me.
Y/n- no I could never forget you, Jenson
Jenson- I was just talking about your impressive test drive you just finished and I have to say that was pretty incredible driving especially for someone as young as you are.
Y/n— thank you Jenson I learned from watching the best.
Jenson— that would be me, right?
Y/n— I was going to say Kimi Raikkonen but whatever you need to tell yourself to help you sleep better at night be my guest.
Jenson— you’ve got to stop hanging out with Kimi. You're starting to sound like him.
Y/n— he’s my favorite for a reason.
Jenson— are you excited for your first F1 race?
Y/n— yes, I’m excited, kinda nervous about it though.
Jenson—that’s normal, ask anyone who had their first race and they’ll tell you that they too were nervous to ask Kimi the next time you see him.
Y/n— I’ll keep that in mind.
Jenson— so tell me how did the car feel?
Y/n— the cat felt great. We had a pretty good pace, but the Drs was a bit sticky and there was a bit of a drag so my head mechanic is fixing that now as we speak.
Jenson— right sounds like things are going great there for Williams at the moment to win for me kid I got a lot of money on you.
Y/n— did you bet on me?
Jenson— yes
Y/n— unbelievable
Jenson then goes on to ask you a few more questions about the car and how everything felt, you answer them all honestly without holding anything back. Your answers are clear and precise, you’re not the talkative type, and you tend to only open up to a few chosen individuals in your life.
As you finish up with the interview you look up at Jenson you can tell that he is happy with your answers and you get a sense of approval from him.
Inter that night…
Lando’s party was kicking off. All the guys were coming up to congratulate you for joining F1. Most of them were excited to race against you. You just laughed and said that it would be great to kick their asses which they found funny but they all knew you had the talent to do so.
Daniel Landos ex-teammate walked into the apartment giving you a bear hug and ruffling your fair was happy to see you. Max had finally shown up to the party around thirty minutes into the event and he was looking quite different from the usual quiet, reserved, and mysterious way you're used to seeing him. He was smiling, laughing, and chatting with people, and he looked relaxed and confident.
You saw him walking over to you and you had to do your best to hold back your blush because you just couldn't help but think that he was super cute looking this way.
After a while you found yourself talking to Lily and dancing with her. The two of you have been growing closer together since you became teammates with Alex.
“You like him don’t you?” Lily asked, already knowing the answer.
“What who are you talking about”
“Max you like Max”
“I don’t like Max”
“Sure you were staring pretty hard at him I think you were begging to drool”
“You crazy and you were seeing things and even if I did like Max my Lando would freak out”
“Lando doesn’t have to know”
You knew she was right about everything you were staring at Max and Lando didn’t have to know. You were practically 20 years old.
“Except me Lily but do you mind if I steal y/n for a few?” Max asked.
Lily looked back at you smiling “Sure Max I need to find Alex anyways” she said walking away.
Max approached you smiling and he stood a little bit too close for your comfort but you didn't mind it too much. He leaned in and talked too close to you to the point where you could feel the warmth from his breath. You felt your heart start beating a bit faster as he put his hand on you.
“Hi Max”
“Hello, y/n so how are you feeling about your first race coming up?”
“I’m not gonna lie I’m nervous”
“Yeah that’s normal I was 17 when I entered my first race”
“You know Jenson said that was normal for everyone”
“He’s not wrong. Would you like to step outside for a minute?”
“Yes Max would like to step outside for some fresh air”
You walked outside to the balcony with Max behind you. Sighing as you leaned against the railing looking out at the ocean breathing in the salty crisp cool air. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Max staring at you with a small smile on his face.
“What are you looking at?” You asked, smiling at him.
“I’m not going to lie, Mooi meisje, I'm looking at you,” Max said, staring at you.
Beautiful girl if you remember correctly that’s what he said looking back out at the ocean trying to fight the feeling in Your gut you smile losing the internal battle.
“Thank you, Max,” you say as you sit down on the couch on the balcony.
“You welcome,” Max said, sitting down beside you.
As you both sat side by side on the couch you couldn’t help the feeling of butterflies and excitement growing in your stomach. The warmth from his body was comforting and made you feel safe.
You liked how Max wasn’t being pushy with you but instead was letting things happen naturally. It gave you a sense of ease that you hadn’t felt with another guy before.
You were starting to get cold but you didn’t want to go inside yet because you were having fun talking to Ma. Max noticed you shivering. He gave you his jacket which was warm and smelled like him. The two of you continued to talk about the little things when you were interrupted by Max getting a text which made him from a little. Not long after Max got the text your brother ripped open the back sliding glass door stepping outside with Daniel following behind him.
“What’s going on out here?” Lando asked, visibly annoyed.
“Lando relax we were just talking”
“Yeah well Max I think it’s time for you to leave now”
“Lando come on don’t be like that,” you said. He always did this; it didn't matter who it was when it came to guys talking to you. You hated how protective he was over you.
“No no no y/n it’s okay I gotta call it a night anyway I have an early meeting tomorrow anyways I’ll see you tomorrow,” Max said walking away with Daniel following him.
“What is your problem Lando”
“He’s six years older than you y/n that’s my problem”
“I’m not a child anymore god I can’t do anything without you freaking out!” You yelled at him.
“No, but I’m your older brother and I don’t want you to get hurt”
“I can’t get hurt if you never let me do anything,” you said walking past Lando to your room.
Your anger kept building up the more you thought about it. You couldn’t stand how he treated you as if all the guys you ever had anything to do with were bad.
You closed your door hard and then sat down on the bed trying to calm yourself down. You hated how every conversation with Lando always ended up with you being angry at him but you couldn’t ever stay mad for too long because he was your brother and he cared about you.
Laying down in your bed you remember you never gave Max back his jacket getting out of bed you texted him.
Y/n— hey I’m sorry about Lando
Max— it’s OK I’m like that with my sister sometimes
Y/n— you forgot your jacket
Max— keep it
Looking at that message you felt butterflies erupt in your stomach realizing that Lily was right and that Lando didn’t have to know a thing…
Y/n— we should go out sometime
You sent the text and waited for a response and only a few minutes later he responded.
Max — I would love to. We need to keep this secret because Lando can never know.
You smiled at the text message and let out a scream of joy into your pillow. You couldn’t believe that you were planning on actually keeping a secret from your brother but he would have a meltdown if he found out about you and Max.
You couldn’t sleep that night because your mind was filled with the thought of you and Max. You’ve been secretly crushing on him for years and now that you have a chance to be with him you’re too excited to fall asleep.
You kept replaying the conversation you had with Max in your head and imagining what it would be like to have a relationship with him. You kept thinking about how he smiled at you and his kind, comforting nature.
The next day you woke up early with a lot of time to get ready before heading over to the garage to meet with the engineers and mechanics and make a few adjustments to the car. You were surprised that Lando didn’t run in to give you a lecture about last night but instead, you heard that he'd left to take a call from McLaren about an upcoming race they were planning on entering. What a lucky break for you.
You couldn’t help but be happy for a moment that Lando wasn’t there and you wouldn’t have to deal with him today. You were already feeling anxious about racing for the first time and having Lando there to keep bugging you or trying to tell you what you should and shouldn’t do would have driven you crazy.
You finished up with work and headed back to your driver’s room to get dressed for the driver's meeting that would be happening later that day. You walked into your room and you found a note from Max sitting on your bed.
The note read:
Hey gorgeous, I know you have a big day tomorrow. I know you’ll be nervous but I just want you to know that I’m in your corner and if there’s anything I can do to help you just let me know. Good luck tomorrow I know you’ll do amazing.
A little smile appeared on your face as you read the note. You knew Max was being supportive and kind and that he was cheering you on but it meant even more coming from him because you had a crush on him.
Your mood is completely lifted by the note you decide to go out for a jog around the track to clear your mind. You ran around the track and felt much more relaxed when you got home. You went in took a shower and got dressed for the driver's meeting. You were feeling much more confident about the race now and ready to tackle anything the day had in store.
At the driver's meeting all of the drivers were talking and you saw Max in the back talking to Daniel. Once you made your way over to them Daniel walked away and you were left with Max alone. Max smiled at you as you walked up and Daniel waved at you before he continued on his way.
Max- “Good luck today y/n I know you’ll do amazing."
“Thank you, Max. I appreciate that a lot.”
“I know you’ll do fine; you're an amazing driver from everything I've seen.”
He smiled at you and brushed his hand against your arm.
“Just remember if you need anything just let me know.”
“I will thank you.”
You smiled back at him before he walked away to go talk to Daniel.
You couldn't help but feel like every time you saw Max your feelings for him kept growing even bigger.
Your heart felt like it was pounding out of your chest by the time the driver's meeting was over. You had never been so nervous and excited at the same time before. You couldn't wait for the race to begin, to put your skills to the test, and to show the world what you could do.
The next day the day of the race was finally here and you couldn’t help the butterflies that were fluttering in your stomach. You've never wanted anything less than the feel-good that you get when you are driving and today you were going to have a chance to feel that on a different level.
“I hope you're excited for your first race today. I'm excited to see what you can do.” Lando said to you as you sat together in the lounge area of your motorhome.
“I am excited but I can’t lie I'm pretty nervous as well "
“Oh come on y/n you've raced in F2 the track is very similar to that one so this should be a piece of cake for you”
“It’s just the pressure that's getting to me. I don't want to mess anything up and also what if I disappoint you if I mess up?" You replied feeling a little bit insecure about your first race but wanting to show your brother that you can handle yourself.
“Trust me you won't disappoint me; I understand why you're feeling that way. I'll let you in on a little secret. I was nervous as hell the first time I entered a race but once you get in the car and let it rip, all of that nervousness goes away.”
“It does?” You asked surprised to hear him admit that he was also nervous.
“I know it sounds crazy but trust me when you get behind the wheel it’s like you put all your focus on the road and everything seems fine. I know you’ll do great today.”
The entire grid was lined up on the grid waiting for the lights to go green. You couldn’t believe that this was your very first Formula 1 race and that all of the time you had spent preparing for this moment could pay off once the race got underway.
Your heart was in your throat and you were feeling more nervous than you had ever felt before when the lights finally turned green and you heard the cars roaring to life and the drivers getting off the line. You kept a sharp eye out for Max but you couldn’t see him just yet through all the cars on the grid.
You heard your engineer through your headset saying that you’ve had a good start and to continue pushing. A few laps in you start to see Max working his way through the packs and you see him approaching you in your rearview window ready to make a move.
You keep a tight grip on the wheel and you focus on taking the corner and on your braking point. You see Max in your rear window and he’s moving to the outside looking for an opening. You stay focused on driving, taking each corner perfectly and staying on the right line.
A few laps later you see that Max has caught up to you. He’s getting closer and you can tell he’s going to attempt to pass you soon. You keep your footing and keep taking the corners as perfectly as you have all race long.
You continue at the same pace and your focus on the race is sharp the track is looking more and more familiar to you with every lap that passes and Max is still right behind you. You take a turn a little wide and Max is quick to jump out and take advantage of the situation passing you on the inside. At first, you feel a little surprised but you don’t panic you stay calm and focus on keeping Max close so you can get a chance to pass him back.
Max is quicker than you and he pulls away quickly. You start pushing but Max keeps pulling further away from you even though you’re pushing just as hard as he is. You feel a sense of disappointment in yourself and start to feel like this was all just a dream and you’re just here for the ride but you still stay focused on the race and drive as hard as you can.
Every lap that passes Max seems to pull a little further away from you and you keep driving as fast and as clean as you can. You keep your foot planted to the floor and you can feel the g force increasing. Every minute you can feel yourself getting tired but you keep pushing regardless.
You can feel yourself making some errors due to your tired body but you don’t let up. You push hard in the straight, taking advantage of your car's high top speed but you're still struggling to keep up with the other cars ahead of you.
With every lap, you're getting tired and making more mistakes. You start to feel like your grip on the race is slipping and you feel discouraged because you can't keep up with the pack. You feel like you're driving on pure adrenaline and no skill and you're starting to feel desperate.
The last few laps feel like a total blur as you're pushing to the limit but still making mistakes due to the exhaustion you feel in your body. Every turn you're feeling like you're about to make a serious mistake and you're starting to doubt whether you can keep this up till the finish line.
The checkered flag flies across the track as you finally cross the finish line. You’re exhausted and frustrated as you look at the results but you feel a sense of relief knowing that you didn’t make it a complete disaster.
A few months since your first race, and things have progressed pretty quickly between you and Max. You had initially sworn that you would keep your friendship a secret from your older brother but you had to admit that having Max in your life just made everything feel so much better.
You and Max continued to see each other and your feelings for each other were getting more intense. You felt like you could open up to Max about anything and you found that you were able to trust him more than anyone else.
You and Max were still keeping your relationship a secret though which led to a lot of sneaking around. You were constantly trying to figure out ways to see each other without Lando finding out about it but it was becoming harder and harder the more your bond with Max grew.
Every time you would meet up with Max it felt like this huge rush that would course through your body. You felt like you could spend forever with him just talking and getting to know each other but you always had to leave eventually to avoid raising suspicion.
You hated that you couldn’t just be together in the open and that you had to keep your relationship hidden. It made it all feel like a forbidden affair and you knew that Lando wouldn’t approve of it at all if he found out about it.
You and Max were getting better at keeping your secret relationship under wraps and you had managed to avoid getting caught by Lando but you both knew that it was only a matter of time before it all came crashing down.
Every time your phone rang or you received a text message from Max your heart would skip a beat and you would hope it wasn’t Lando calling. You knew that if it was then he would most likely ask you where you were and you would have to come up with an excuse on the spot.
You and Max had come up with all of these different strategies to make it look like you were somewhere else when in reality you were seeing each other. This only added to the stress of trying to keep your relationship a secret and you wished more than anything that things didn’t have to be this way.
You and Max had been secretly seeing each other for months now but you still hadn’t gone on an actual date yet. You hadn’t figured out a way to do it without Lando catching on so you just settled for the quick meet-ups when you could but Max was starting to get annoyed at the situation.
“Hi there Max,” you said letting him enter your room
“Hey beautiful,” he said with a smile. Your heart fluttered at the way he looked at you. You couldn’t believe that you were finally alone with him.
“So what movie do you wanna watch?” Max asked you as he sat down next to you on the couch.
“I don't know you pick anything you feel like watching," you replied with a faint smile. You were just happy to be able to chill out and relax with him without having to stress about anything else.
“Ok,” he said, smiling back as he pulled up the movie's menu. His touch on your arm, as he moved the menu to the screen, made you feel butterflies in your stomach.
“Oh here's one I've been looking forward to.” He said pointing at a particular movie and clicking on it. You both got up and moved to the bed and sat down side by side. He wrapped his arm around you and pulled you close and you could feel him leaning his head in towards yours.
The start of the movie made you both chuckle and you could feel his body heat radiating against yours. You could smell the sweet scent coming from his cologne and you couldn't help but feel your heart fluttering just a little bit faster than normal
You felt so comfortable with him resting his head on your shoulder and you could feel his breath brushing against your cheek every time he breathed. The sound of his breathing and the feeling of him being so close to you was intoxicating and made you want to just lose yourself in his embrace.
The movie was good but you could barely pay attention to it because you just kept thinking about how close you two were sitting. His breath was so close to your ear and the only thought going through your head right now was how badly you wanted him to lean in and kiss you.
Your body was tingling as you felt his breath brushing against your ears and you felt so aware of every movement he was making. You could also feel his arm wrapped around you a little bit tighter.
Your lips connected and the kiss was everything that you had always imagined and more. He pulled away from you just for a moment to whisper in your ear "I've wanted to do that for months" before he leaned in and kissed you again.
Your hands went automatically to his neck and you pulled him closer to you as the make-out session got more passionate. You felt completely lost in his arms and you couldn't think of anything else except how much you wanted Max in that moment.
At that moment your senses and emotions were all focused on the feeling of his lips on yours and the smell of his cologne that was now clinging to you. You felt like you had been waiting forever for this moment and you were enjoying every single second of it.
The kiss could have lasted forever but eventually, reality came and Max pulled away you both looked at each other for a moment and all you could both manage was a little smile and a small blush.
“Was that as wonderful for you as it was for me?” Max asked you with a smile. The butterflies in your stomach only got louder with each passing moment and you found that you couldn't even speak you just shook your head yes and Max chuckled a little at your reaction.
“I think the movie is still going we probably should see what is happening,” Max said teasingly but he couldn't help but laugh at how flustered you had become.
“Don't worry I don't think we're going to miss that much,” You muttered to Max and he laughed at you before moving back and pressing play.
A hot and humid day awaited the drivers in Qatar as they got ready to go out on track. The air was thick and the sun beat down on the track and made it seem like it was even hotter than it was. The drivers all looked tired already even though they hadn’t even driven yet.
The start of the race was pretty calm as most of the drivers all stayed in their respective positions without any major moves. You were in the middle of the pack fighting it out with Sergio and Charles for position but you were feeling pretty comfortable with your car even though you were dealing with the heat.
Just as you thought the day was going to remain calm your race was suddenly disrupted by a large crash behind you. Several drivers had crashed into each other and the race was red-flagged until they could make sure the track was safe enough to continue racing on.
“Dammit…” you muttered under your breath as you watched the chaos unfolding behind you. You were in a good position and now the race was going to get all screwed up.
The red flag extended the race by a bit more than one hour as the track got cleaned up and the cars that had crashed were brought back into the pits. When the race finally restarted you were in the same position as you were before the race had been red-flagged and you knew that the rest needed to make up time if he wanted to have a chance at being in the first 10 places.
You kept driving as fast as you could pushing your engine to the max and doing all of your driving lines perfectly because you knew that now every single turn was crucial. The heat was still getting to you but you weren’t going to let it get in the way of your focus.
You were starting to get a little bit tired from the heat but you kept pushing and fighting with everything you had to stay focused on the race and the track. Your tires were starting to overheat due to the heat but you kept pushing on and driving as smoothly as possible.
You made it through the final laps and finally crossed the finish line as the checkered flag flew. You still couldn’t believe you had survived that race and your body was feeling pretty much broken from the heat and the physical exhaustion.
You looked around the pit at the other drivers and they looked just as exhausted as you did. You were looking at them with a sort of mutual understanding that you all had been through hell and back in that race.
You stepped out of the car feeling completely drained and you leaned over the barrier a little bit to catch your breath. Your face was soaking wet with sweat and you felt like you could just collapse from exhaustion any moment.
But you noticed that Max had came over and was standing next to you. He looked concerned and he was watching you with a worried look on his face. “Are you ok?” He asked and you nodded a little bit not really able to say anything right now.
“I think I’m pass out” you said
“Let me help you” max said grabbing you before you collapse and supporting your weight. You felt him carrying you and it felt like a huge weight was being taken off your shoulders (no pun intended).
You felt like you could just let your body go loose at this point because you knew that Max would catch you. You let your body go completely limp and felt yourself completely being carried by him as he walked through the pit lane.
Your head was starting to get dizzy from exhaustion and you felt like you couldn’t hold your head up any longer. Your vision was blurry and your muscles felt like they were not even there at this point. You let yourself fall into his arms without fighting back.
“I got you” you heard Max say and you finally let your eyes slip shut because you were at a point where you couldn’t open them any longer. Before you lost consciousness completely you heard another sentence “I’m taking you to your room” which was the last thing you remember hearing before your mind went blank.
The next day
You can’t even open your eyes because your head is pounding so bad. You feel like you can’t take another moment of the sunlight hitting your eyes and you just want to close them permanently.
“Are you awake?” You heard his voice coming from next to you and you opened your eyes. It took you a moment for your eyes to adjust to the light before you could make out his silhouette against the sheets and once you did you saw that he was propped up against the headboard looking at you with a concerned expression on his face.
“How do you feel? You were pretty close to passing out there for a while,” he asked you with an expression of sympathy on his face. You smiled a little bit and shook your head slightly.
“Sorry for that I just pushed too hard and the heat got to a point where my body couldn't take any more of it” you replied and he smiled back at you. “I don't blame you I just don't want to see you hurt is all”
“Thanks I really appreciate it” you said feeling grateful that he was looking out for you. You could feel the exhaustion still lingering a bit but you were feeling much more refreshed than you were before. You saw that he was still concerned and you felt like you needed to set his mind at ease slightly.
“I’m fine really” you said and you smiled at him. He smiled back at you and seemed to sense that you were really ok. You could see a small sigh of relief coming from him and you both continued to look at each other for a couple of seconds before he spoke again.
“Did you miss me?” Max asked you with a smirk which you knew was a rhetorical question because he already knew the answer. You couldn’t help but smile back at him as you nodded a little bit.
“I missed you too” he replied looking at you and his hand reached out to grab yours. You felt the warm touch of his hands against your skin and you couldn’t help but feel your heart rate starting to increase.
You could feel a butterflies in your stomach and your hands started to shake a little bit as you held on to Max’s hand tighter. You felt like you couldn’t control any of your physical reactions at the moment and you started to feel warm all over.
Max held your hand tight and didn’t let you go. The touch of his hands on yours sent shivers through your body and you could feel yourself getting a little bit light headed every time he moved his palm across your skin.
“I should probably get going soon lando will be coming soon” max said
“Okay” you responded with a bittersweet feeling. You could feel a wave of sadness starting to wash over you as you remembered your relationship with Max was a secret which meant you couldn’t ever really have time together like this without having to worry about someone else intervening.
“Can we meet again later?” You asked him and he smiled slightly. “Of course we can"he said and you could hear the eagerness in his voice. "When?" You asked him and he looked at you with what seemed like a mischievous smirk.
“Tonight,” he said in a way that made it sound like he was suggesting something else. “I have something that I want to show you,” he added and even though his words were vague you still felt excitement at the prospect of being alone with him again.
“Alright," you replied eagerly and without thinking much about it. You were willing to do anything that he wanted just so that you could have another chance at being with him. “I’ll see you then” he said and then he stood up before kissing you quickly on the cheek and walking out of the room.
You just sat there smiling to yourself for a moment, not really wanting to get out of bed after that. You felt so elated and you had a good feeling about what Max had planned for that night.
The evening was approaching and your nerves were starting to get the best of you. Max had told you that he had something to show you in his room this evening but he hadn't given you any details about what it was. You were trying to guess what it could be but you couldn't come up with anything concrete.
You were getting dressed and you were wondering if you should dress up or just keep it casual. You had never visited Max’s room before and you couldn’t help but wonder what he had planned for you there. You were getting more and more excited with the thought of what it could be but at the same time just the thought of being alone with him put a little bit of fear in you too.
You decided to just dress casual because you wanted to feel comfortable in the situation and not like you were out on a date with someone. You finished up getting ready and then it was finally time for you to go meet up with Max.
You walked out of your room and down towards Max’s room which was just a few doors down the hall from yours. You took a deep breath and knocked on the door. You heard a voice from behind the door asking you to come in and so you nervously let yourself in.
As soon as you stepped into the room you looked around and saw Max standing there in front of you. His face dropped into a wide grin when he saw you and you couldn’t help but feel your nerves starting to come back even though you were just wearing something casual.
“Ready for dinner?” Max asked knowing that you hadn’t eaten in a while.
“yes actually I’m starving” you said.
“Good because if you weren’t then this would have gone to waste," Max says walking you over to the balcony where a candle lit dinner was waiting.
You were surprised by the dinner and you had to admit the sight of the candle lit dinner was quite romantic. It was just a small dinner, nothing too fancy but you loved the thought that he had put into it.
The food looked delicious and the way the candles lit up the whole table made it feel like it was a scene out of a movie. You looked over at Max and he had a huge grin on his face as he watched you take everything in.
“Do you like it?” He asked you and you could feel how much thought he had put into making sure that you were happy. The fact that he had spent time setting this whole thing up for you was the sweetest and most considerate thing he had done for you yet.
“I love it” you said back at him without hesitation. You couldn’t think of a better way to spend this evening than eating a romantic dinner with him. You took a seat at the table and he sat next to you. He was still gazing at you with a warm look on his face and you felt like all of your worries were just melting away at this moment.
“So are you ready to eat?” Max asked and you nodded your head because you were starving. The food smelled heavenly and you couldn’t wait to take your first bite.
You dug into the food and ate heartily. The taste was amazing and the atmosphere was almost magical. Having a delicious meal while enjoying each other's company was the perfect way to end the evening. You felt like you were floating on a cloud with how happy you were.
“Your expression is so cute right now” Max mentioned and you couldn’t help but blush a little bit. You looked over at him and he was leaning back in his chair watching you eat.
“I’m just really happy right now” you replied and that made him smile a little bit more. You could see that he was enjoying having you all to himself and he seemed to be enjoying your company as much as you were enjoying his.
The conversation between you two continued for a while as you finished the meal and continued just enjoying each other’s presence. You felt like Max really understood you and he listened to everything you had to say and didn’t judge you for it. It felt like a safe space where you could just be yourself.
It was the night after the US Grand Prix and the team had all met up to celebrate Max's victory (albeit a little bit late). The team had decided to go to a club to celebrate and as everyone was dancing you noticed Max standing off to the side by the bar. You knew he was upset about being boo'd on the podium so you approached him with a concerned look on your face.
“Hey are you ok?” You asked him and he looked at you with a slight frown. You could see that he was still bothered by the booing and you wished you could take it away for him. “Yeah, I’m fine,” he told you but you could tell from his face that it was just a front.
“Max I can tell you’re not fine” you said to him and he looked away. You saw him trying to shake it off but you could tell that it had bothered him more than he was letting on. “It just really hurts that it’s my home race and I still get booed” he said and you could feel your heart beginning to break for him.
“Do you wanna get out of here?” You asked.
“Yeah” he said and you could see that he really wanted to get out of there. You could tell that he was hurt and you couldn’t understand why people would be so cruel to someone who had worked so hard. You felt like that whole situation was extremely unfair and you hated it for him.
“Can we just go back to the hotel room?” He asked and you could hear the weariness in his voice. “Yeah sure” you replied. You knew that he just wanted to get out of there and you didn’t want to keep seeing him so stressed out like this.
Max was being really quite on the way back to the hotel room and you noticed that he was in a deep trance of thought. You wanted to try and distract him somehow and try to make him feel better but you didn’t know exactly what to say at this moment.
“Max, can I ask you a question?” You ventured and he looked at you briefly before his eyes went back to the road in front of him. “Sure,” he said in a quiet voice.
“Why do people get so mad at you?” You asked and Max took a second to respond. “I’m not sure really” he said and you could tell that he was struggling to find the right answer. The silence stretched on for a bit and your heart broke a little more when you saw how hard his face was starting to tense up.
“Maybe they’re just envious of how good you are” you said to him in trying to make him feel better but he just shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know” he mumbled to himself and you didn’t know what to say next.
“I love you Max” you said out of the blue.
When he heard you say those three words he froze up for a second. He looked at you with a stunned look in his eyes and didn’t say anything. You could see that hearing you say those words hit him right in the heart.
“Did you just say that you love me?” He asked, almost to confirm that he had actually just heard you say that. You could see the disbelief on his face and the way he was struggling to process what you had said to him.
“Yes I did” you replied with certainty. You had been feeling this way for a while now but you never felt like you could admit it to him because you were afraid of what he might think. But you were tired of being afraid and you wanted to have this conversation with him no matter how afraid you were.
“You really mean that?” He asked and you could hear the hope and the disbelief in his voice. You knew that he was struggling to believe that this could be real and you wanted to let him know that your feelings were genuinely true.
Truth is I’ve loved you for a long time” you told him.
Max had never actually heard you say the words “I love you” to him until right now and it felt like a surreal moment to him. You could see the confusion and disbelief still written all over his face but now they all turned into a soft smile and he looked at you with his eyes filled with happiness and gratitude.
“Does this mean that we’re officially a thing now?” He asked and you couldn’t help but laugh at his expression. He looked so happy that you couldn’t help yourself but to see how cute he was right now.
“If you want us to be then yes I suppose it does” you replied and you found yourself feeling a surge of joy from within. For the first time in your life you felt like you could actually call him something more than just your best friend and it made you feel warm all over.
“Can you do me a favor?” He asked and you raised an eyebrow because you weren’t expecting him to ask you a favor during this moment of happiness. “Of course” you responded with a smile.
“Can I kiss you?” Him asking that immediately made your heart race because of how shocked you were by that question. You never thought that you would hear him say those words and your mind went blank because of how happy and nervous you felt in this moment.
All that you could do was nod your head furiously which he took as a sign of agreement. He leaned in towards you and his lips pressed against yours in a soft kiss which sent a rush of butterflies throughout your body. You felt like time froze for a second as he pulled away from you and your heart was beating really fast.
The feeling of Max's lips against yours was like a spark. It sent shockwaves throughout your body and you felt like your whole body was shaking in pleasure. A couple seconds after he pulled away you felt him holding your face in his hands and then he went in for another kiss.
You let yourself enjoy every second of it because you had been waiting for this moment for a long time. You felt his mouth against yours and you felt his hands hold your cheeks gently. At that moment you didn’t care where you were or who might’ve been able to see you or hear you. All you wanted in this moment was just him.

Gurlll. What if another big royal comes up to ghost and says basically ‘how much for ur queen’ … basically wanting to buy her off of ghost ? And he says she’s not for sale but he says “everything has a price”. Maybe he’s been stalking her and tells ghost that he knows her schedule and what she likes.
After that graves chapter I need more DRAMA and more borderline feral and protective ghost
oomph the dramaaa (also don’t mind me making up random ass characters and random ass places for this hahahaahaha)
warnings: time-period typical misogyny, stalking, man being a creep, physical violence
A new trade deal was being signed today, and a big one at that. You had been informed that an entourage of court members from a neighboring kingdom would be staying in Kastron during the duration of the final deal talks and signage.
The arrival of King Valerian of Malcenite and his high-ranking entourage had been a spectacle you had greeted with the utmost politeness and grace. Simon had stressed the importance of the trade deal for Kastron, and you had been on your best behavior throughout their stay, despite a nagging sense that something was amiss. The trade deal was signed multiple days ago, much to everyone’s relief. Yet, for some odd reason, they’ve shown no signs of packing up to leave, even after already being in Kastron for over a week.
“It’s been a week, and the trade deal has already been signed, what more do they want from us?” you whisper to Simon with a furrowed brow. “Their presence is starting to become…overbearing.”
He nods in agreement. Simon’s eyes reflect the same unease that gripped you. “I know, love. It’s rather odd…They’ve never given me reason to doubt them.”
“We should find out what Valerian wants, Si. I mean, it’s really bothering me—”
Simon placed a reassuring hand on your shoulder, interrupting your words. “You should get some rest. Let me deal with Valerian, dove.”
Your heart ached with concern, but you knew Simon was right. The weight of your responsibilities of the week had taken its toll, and you were exhausted.
“Please,” he urges you.
With a reluctant nod, you allow him to take charge of the situation.
“Fine…but let me know if you need me for moral support. You know how I can get during arguments,” you say playfully, giving him a peck on the cheek.
“I know all too well, love.”
As you retreat to your chambers, the unease that had settled over the palace refused to dissipate. As you slipped into bed, thoughts of King Valerian’s ominous intentions gnawed at your mind, but you trusted in Simon's abilities to handle the matter.
As Simon shut the doors to your chambers, he signaled for two guards to stand watch at the door. With that, he moved swiftly to find King Valerian.
. . .
Ghost had found Valerian out in the gardens. The moonless sky felt oppressive, the air thick with tension.
King Ghost faced King Valerian with an air of authority that matched his regal presence. Valerian's calculating eyes bore into Simon's, their unspoken conflict echoing within the stone walls. He wore a cloak of arrogance, his eyes gleaming with an unsettling confidence.
“King Valerian,” Ghost began, his voice steady but tinged with a hint of authority, "we appreciate your visit and the successful trade agreement we've reached. However, I must ask about the purpose of your extended stay in Kastron.”
Valerian's lips curled into a sly smile, his fingers grazing over a bush of flowers. Your favorite flowers. “Your concern is touching, King Ghost. I assure you, my presence is simply a desire to further strengthen the bonds between our kingdoms.”
Simon's gaze remained unwavering, his suspicion growing by the second. “Forgive me, but your continued stay has raised questions among my advisors and my wife. We find it unusual.”
Valerian leaned forward, picking a flower from the bush, his voice lowering to a conspiratorial tone. “Very well, King Ghost, I shall be forthright with you. The trade deal, as successful as it was, was not the only reason for my visit. There is something else I desire from Kastron.”
Simon's brow furrowed, his patience wearing thin. “And what might that be?”
Valerian's eyes glittered with a dangerous intent. “Your queen. I have watched her closely during my time here, and I have become enamored with her grace and beauty. Not to mention her fiery personality. It’s not quite fit for a woman, but I can always fix that. I believe she deserves better, far beyond what you can offer.”
Simon feels like his heart has stopped beating. “Excuse me?” he replied with icy resolve, no longer worried about offending Valerian.
Valerian chuckles darkly, bringing the flower up to his nose. “The queen. How much for her?”
Simon's fingers curled into fists at his side, his voice firm and resolute. “My wife is not a thing. She is not for sale. How fucking dare you.”
Simon's chest heaved with the effort of restraining his fury, and his clenched fists trembled with the pent-up anger he held within. He approaches Valerian angrily, sizing him up with a deathly glare.
Valerian's smile faded, replaced by a cold, calculating stare. “Everything has a price, even loyalty.”
“I know her schedule, her preferences,” Valerian continues, emphasizing the flower in his hand. Your favorite. “I've followed her every move. All you need to do is name your price.”
In a flash, Simon unleashed his anger in a single, powerful blow. With a swift and precise motion, he delivered a sucker punch straight to Valerian's face. The blow sent the arrogant man stumbling backward, crashing into the nearby garden wall.
“Get the fuck out of my home. Deal is off. Never fuckin’ show your face here again, disgusting bastard.”
Valerian, nursing his bruised face, was forcibly escorted back into the palace by Ghost.
“You know I can do much, much, worse than a single punch. Don’t fuckin’ cross me. Don’t fuckin’ come near my wife and I ever again.”
Ghost showed no mercy, manhandling Valerian in front of the palace guards, who looked on with a mix of shock and confusion.
Simon shoves Valerian forward harshly into the hands of a couple of guards.
“Take this bastard out of my sight. I want him gone. Now. He’s unwelcome in Kastron.”
. . .
Inside the palace, Valerian's actions had been made known. Rumors always spread like wildfires throughout the palace staff, and none were willing to lift a finger to help him pack. Simon had made it clear that Valerian was not to set foot in the palace again, and the guards at the gate had orders to keep him out at all costs.
“I do not want the queen to find out about this blatant disrespect from palace rumors. Go about your work.”
. . .
Simon’s fury began to subside, replaced by a deep concern for you. He knew he needed to speak with you about the incident before the palace gossip reached your ears.
Simon quickly made his way to your shared private chambers, where you were engrossed in some needlepoint. Knocking softly on the door, he entered to find you hunched over in your sitting chair, your brow furrowed in concentration. You had recently taken an interest in learning needlepoint, taking time to practice simple designs in your spare time. You look up for a moment, but go back to focusing on your work. You do a double take when you notice the worry in his expression.
“What’s wrong?” you inquire, your voice gentle but tinged with concern.
Simon sighed deeply and closed the door behind him, anger still coursing through him. “I…I have some…unsettling news, darling.”
You immediately perk up, setting your needlepoint aside, focusing your attention on Simon.
“Go on,” you say, worry building up in your chest.
As he recounted his encounter with Valerian, your expression shifted from curiosity to a mix of pure anger and disbelief. You stood up with a start, face pinched with hostility. You grab Simon’s dominant hand, the one he had punched Valerian with, and inspected his knuckles. Bruised. You drop his hand and look at him.
“How dare he,” your voice trembles with indignation, your eyes blazing with determination.
Your fingers clenched into fists, mirroring the wrath that had overtaken you. “I will not tolerate this impertinence,” you declare, your voice resolute. “To think that he would even entertain the notion of buying me like, like some piece of property. He will fucking rue the day he ever uttered those words.”
And with that, you swiftly make your way towards the double doors, throwing the doors open with a resounding slam.
Simon watched in silence as you threw the doors open. Who was he to stop his angry wife? No, he would see this out. He knew that you were not one to be trifled with, especially when it came to matters of respect and dignity.
The palace corridors echoed your footsteps as you strode with purpose, and Simon hurried to catch up to you. He also was not about to let you be alone with Valerian.
“Darling—”
You didn’t pause or slow down as Simon called after you. Your determination to confront Valerian had taken hold of you, and you were not about to let this insult go unanswered. Simon quickly follows behind you, slightly nervous to see how this would pan out.
You turn to a palace guard standing alongside a wall. “Where is he?”
“Th– the parlor room, your majesty, he’s about to leave—”
In a flash, you change directions, marching towards the parlor room where Valerian was currently being kept under guard. As you approached the doors to the parlor room, you could hear the hushed whispers and see the curious glances of the palace attendants. Two guards stood in front of the doors.
“Step aside, please,” you command, hands coming to rest on your hips.
The guards look at you for a moment, then at Simon standing behind you menacingly.
“Your majesty, he is dangerous—”
“I wasn’t asking.”
They look at you, then step aside, pushing the door open for you. You practically stomp inside the room, anger rolling off you in waves. Valerian, who had been sitting alone in a corner, looked up with a mixture of surprise and unease as you entered the room. The air grew tense with anticipation as you faced him, your eyes flashing with anger.
“You!” you declared, your voice carrying the weight of authority. “How dare you insult us?”
Simon raises his eyebrows at your forwardness, but chooses to stay silent, crossing his arms over his chest. Valerian eyes Simon wearily before facing you. Despite being confronted by your fury, he couldn't resist the urge to maintain his arrogance. He rose from his seat slowly, deliberately. You don’t back away.
“Insult you?” he retorted. “Oh, my dear queen, it was merely a business proposition. I thought perhaps you might appreciate the opportunity to upgrade from this provincial life.”
Simon immediately takes a few steps forward, anger seeping back into his bones. He couldn’t bear to see him speak to you in such a way. But, ever steadfast, you persevere. Your fists clenched at his ignorance, and your anger surged anew. Simon watched with growing amusement, knowing that Valerian's arrogance was pushing you to your limit.
“How deluded you must be,” Valerian continued, a glint of amusement in his eyes. “To think Ghost could satisfy your desires with his meager offerings.”
The room seemed to vibrate with tension as you struggled to contain your rage. Your eyes locked onto Valerian’s, and in a flash, you lashed out. Your fist connected with his jaw with a satisfying thud. Nowhere near close to Simon’s force, but it was yours.
“Yeah, thought a weak woman such as myself wouldn’t retaliate?”
Valerian's smirk vanished as he held his aching jaw, shock overtaking his features. The room fell into stunned silence, the guards wide-eyed at the unexpected turn of events. Simon suppressed a smirk, he couldn't help but feel a surge of pride for you, who had defended not only her own honor but also his own. Fuckin’ hell.
You march up to Valerian and grab his ear, yanking him down to your level. “My husband has been nothing but kind to me. Your suggestions of him being incompetent and a monster is far from the truth. He is one of the most loyal and honorable people I know. You’ll never be a third of the man Simon is. And I'm not a piece of meat for you to enjoy, you sick freak.” You let go of his ear. “Stay away from me. Stay away from my husband.”
And with that, you turn out of the room. Simon stands there, gives Valerian a once over, then turns out of the room in silence.
Simon turns to a couple of guards. “It’s time for him to leave. Remove him from Kastron.”
With a bow, the guards turn to forcibly escort Valerian out of Kastron, forever.
As Simon turned, he caught a glimpse of your gown turn the corner back to your chambers. He follows behind you once more, practically running to catch up to you.
“Darling, slow down–” he calls out, and you stop in your tracks, turning to face him. “He’s gone now—”
You stand there, your chest heaving as you fight back the tears that threaten to spill from your eyes. The adrenaline from your confrontation still courses through your veins. It was a distressing experience, but you know you did what was necessary to protect your honor and your marriage.
Simon reaches you, his concern deepening as he takes in your flushed face and labored breathing. He gently places his hands on your shoulders, his eyes filled with worry. “Dove, are you all right? That was a brave thing you did back there…”
Your lower lip quivers for a brief moment, and you summon every ounce of your strength to hold back the tears threatening to spill. Crying in front of Simon is something you've never done before, and you're uncertain about how he would respond.
Simon notices the struggle within you, his eyes fill with empathy. He gently reaches out, his fingers softly brushing away a stray tear that escapes down your cheek. His touch is warm and reassuring, and he leans in to plant a tender kiss on your forehead.
“I– I’m fine, just frustrated, is all…I couldn’t stand by and let him insult us.”
Simon’s expression softens as you move to hug him, pressing your wet cheeks into his chest. His strong arms wrap around you, offering comfort. “You're the strongest person I know,” he murmurs into your ear. “I'm so proud to have you as my wife.”
You hold onto Simon tightly, taking comfort in his strength. “I love you,” you whisper, feeling a sense of security in his arms.
. . .
Simon held you close that night, his arms wrapped protectively around you as you both lay in the comfort of your bed. The events of the day had taken an emotional toll on you, and you found solace in his warm embrace.
Pressed against his chest, your head rested on his shoulder, and his fingers traced soothing patterns on your back. In the silence, broken only by the gentle rustle of bedsheets and soft breathing, you felt the weight of the world slowly lifting off your shoulders. The words you'd spoken to Valerian, the confrontation, and the emotional release afterward—all of it seemed like a distant memory now.
Simon’s heartbeat, steady and reassuring, echoed in your ear, lulling you into a peaceful sleep. Wrapped in his arms, you knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you had a partner who would always stand by your side.

I request a Reader who helps Kinger stay sane for a few moments before he goes back to being insane. Basically Reader would be Kinger's anchor in the circus's reality
I see "anchor" and I raise you: a Reader who's also a chess piece like him--except they're a small Pawn (since pawns are the first line of defense)
......
"Kinger? Why don't you come on out of there?"
"H-Huh...?" Nervously peeking out from behind the safety of his pillow fort, Kinger gazed up at your extended hand. Already he was feeling stressed out, wondering what your intentions were. "Why? Is Caine calling us? Did Pomni talk about an exit again?? Is somebody abstracting???"
He took a deep breath, before staring at you intensely, eyeballs trembling. "Are YOU abstracting???"
"No, no, no, and..definitely no." You calmly answered him. "I was just thinking we could get some fresh air outside."
"..l-like out into the grounds?"
"Perhaps by the digital lake. It's quiet and away from all of this...mess. I think it'll be good for both of us."
".....are you sure?"
"I'm sure. I'll keep you safe, Your Majesty."
"Y-Your Majesty?" Kinger repeated, blinking a few times. "Oh my, haven't heard that one in a long time.....but yes, we can certainly go [y/n]. It would be good for us to get out."
You smiled, noticing how there was a lot less edge to his voice now, a sign he had regained some lucidity and calmness--two things he has lacked in recent years.
As you helped him out of the fortress, you realized his hands weren't even shaking anymore. And that was a huge sigh of relief.
"Thank you again for shooing away Jax, by the way. T-Today is...definitely not a good day for him to prank me. I wasn't in the mood."
"Of course." You nodded in understanding. "A pawn's gotta protect their king."
There were rare times where Kinger was calm and composed--and those times became even rarer ever since Queener abstracted. You were a small yet loyal protector of the duo, but when you failed to keep his wife from going insane...you made an oath to ensure your king didn't fall down the same path.
Because if he ever abstracted, too, you didn't know what you were going to do with yourself..
You may as well ask Caine to throw you down into the cellar.
Even so, this momentous task didn't come without its challenges: Pomni's unexpected arrival, Kaufmo's abstraction, and the entire Gloink situation genuinely left him feeling stressed out for a while, making him more paranoid over abandoning his "sanctuary".
Fortunately, you were able to snap him out of that mindset, as you two were currently on your way to the Grounds--specifically where the waterpark was.
But you weren't planning on riding the twisty and colorful slides. Not today, at least.
Rather, you sought out a quiet place to sit and gaze up at the cloudy sky, not caring whether it was day or night out (although you're glad it's currently the daytime, as you'd rather not hear the Moon gush about her crush on Caine).
Eventually, you found a spot and sat together in the grass. "This is nice." You hummed.
"It sure is." Nodding, Kinger allowed himself to relax, gloved fingers gently stroking the thin strands of green that surrounded him. "You know..it's funny how you chose this particular spot."
"How so, my king?" You looked to him, curious.
"..I remember she..and I...well....she took me to this exact same place when I needed to get away from everybody." He recounted. "I know we were on opposite sides of the board, but..we never let that stop us from being together, of course." A soft chuckle left him, and he sighed longingly. "It did feel like it was us against the world, [y/n].."
"Mhm." You nodded, remaining quiet and admiring the low-poly count seagulls that flew by.
"She believed our fates were "intertwined"..and as cheesy as it sounded, I wanted to believe that. Perhaps we did meet outside of this world...and have simply fallen in love a the second time."
"That may be possible. It's like you're both..destined to be together no matter what or where you are."
"...maybe that's why she abstracted."
"..what?" Looking to Kinger, you noticed he was now grabbing onto fistfuls of grass, and you began to realize something was wrong.
"I have not told you the whole story, but Queener was....desperate to know of our connection outside of this place. Her and I wanted to know what we lost....were we ever married? Engaged? Neither of us could recall, and...i-it kept us up all night." His voice began to waver with growing anxiety.
"Kinger-"
"She wanted to remember so badly and began looking for exits, e-even though I warned her that Caine wouldn't like that. She didn't care. She was a tough cookie, never liked being told what to do. But god...I should have done more to stop her."
"Kin-"
"Now she's in that dark cellar with Kaufmo, cold and alone...oh no.." He put his hands to his head. "She'll never see such beautiful sights such as this again! Only darkness and-!"
"Kinger!" You firmly spoke up, stopping his ramblings as he stared back at you with bloodshot eyes. "Listen, nothing she did was your fault. I know it's easy to blame yourself, but-"
All of the sudden, he screamed in fear, which caused you to flinch away. But then he blinked a few times, recognizing your face.
"O-Oh goodness..it's you, [y/n].." Putting a hand to his chest, he exhaled a shaky breath, before abruptly standing up. "I'm sorry, I've said too much. I...I-I don't think I want to be here anymore.." He anxiously brushed the dirt particles off his robe.
You stood as well, realizing that his brief moment of lucidity had passed. Although short-lived, you were grateful for the time it did allow you to spend together, enabling him to reminisce.
Yet deep down you felt a little guilty for bringing him to the digital lake. It wasn't your intention to remind him of what him and Queener could no longer share.
But perhaps...you shouldn't take him out here anymore. For his sanity's sake.
"That's okay, my lord. We'll...head back to the tent and you can rest up."
Kinger nodded in agreement with your suggestion, allowing you to lead him back into the tent, returning him to the safety of his fortress.
While he huddled away inside like a bear going into hibernation, blocking the entrance with a pillow, you stood on-guard with a foam sword.
At some point, Jax passed by, asking you if Kinger was still mad at him for earlier. But you just sent him a cold glare and threatened to cut his ear off if he dared step any closer.
The rabbit just rolled his eyes, knowing you couldn't actually harm anyone with that weapon even if you tried, although he left you alone.
'Hmph, good riddance.'
If he was smart, he'd know better than to disturb your king.
It's your sworn duty to protect him, after all.

Luke Castellan x Fem!Athena!Reader Synopsis: Reader sneaks on a cruise ship with Percy, Annabeth and Tyson. Guess who she has a run in with !!!! Warning(s): slight angst. and uh swears ig Word Count: 1833 A/N: part 2 was requested😘 and I skimmed over a lot, I didn't want to copy and paste most of Sea of Monsters so yk Part 1
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Months, well actually, an entire school year has past since your boyfriend, well ex boyfriend now, Luke turned to Kronos. And yes, the rumors are true! Time heals all wounds!! Sure you needed some more time but you were starting to get back to your normal self slowly but surely. And the Athena head counselor position was rightfully handed right back to you (until Annabeth comes back for the summer).
Normally time isn't real for a year rounder like yourself, but there's been an issue. The magic barrier that protects camp Half-Blood is held up by Thalias tree, except her tree has been poisoned. No one knows when or how it happened, but you decided to keep your guess to yourself. Well that doesn't matter now. With Thalias tree slowly getting worse and worse, the border surrounding camp is weakening, allowing monsters to start slipping through and find the camp. Defenses are thinning, and even with summer around the corner enrollment numbers are at their lowest.
Thankfully you weren't on Charisse's bad side so she didn't mind joining forces. And don't get it twisted, you love Annabeth, but you've never loved her more than when you watched her and Percy (and a cyclops??) run up the hill and help fight the monsters.
After the fighting was over, you weren't injured yourself so you went to help out at the infirmary. It helped keep your mind off stuff, and now you had Percy and Annabeth to keep you company. You were currently checking them for burns.
"Wow, 13 and no body hair?"
"THE MONSTER BURNED IT OFF."
You and Annabeth just laughed at the boy. After you both calmed down you started to explain whats been happening the last couple of months at camp while they've been away. Grim expressions washed over them as you finished, Chiron being fired and being replaced with TANTALUS was truly the cherry on top in your opinion.
"Well, time to eat right?"
This might've been one of the most interesting dinners yet. The cyclopes, also known as Tyson, ended up getting claimed by Poseidon (Percy wasn't the biggest fan of this particular development), and we have an upcoming Chariot race coming up (something Tantalus decided to start doing). You weren't planning on participating in the race, but Annabeth and Percy got into a fight so now you had too.
Finally the day came and instead of a friendly race, everyone was attacked by killer birds that were just barely shot out the sky. Maybe some help on Clarrise's end would've been nice, but she thought winning was more important, while you, Tyson, Percy and Annabeth just got punished.
The four of you were stuck washing dishes when the two younger campers got to talking. They were smart ones, basically we needed the Golden Fleece, simple as that. Except who did Tantalus give the quest too? The winner of the race. Clarisse.
"But Grovers my friend!"
"Yeah you guys wouldn't even have the quest if it weren't for us!"
Your yelling didn't help matters, the Ares kids just accused Percy of wanting the spotlight. They just never liked Percy after he beat up their dad, the fact he did that still amazes you. You and Annabeth just accepted the defeated and walked yourselves to your cabin.
"So Annabeth, how's it been in the outside world?"
"Cooler than I thought but please, how's it been with.. you know what?" You averted your gaze slightly and swallowed. You were getting better, but that certainly didn't mean you were over him.
"I haven't heard from mom in like eight months." Annabeth looked at you confused. You never told her about the last conversation with Athena.
"What? I thought you were like, her favorite or something?"
"To be fair I basically told her to fuck off," you shrugged like it wasn't that serious but your sister looked at you like you were crazy. "It was about Luke, you know she never liked him." She just nodded as you both walked back to your cabin. When you got there neither of you couldn sleep and decided to stay up late studying maps of the sea of monsters, where Grover and the Golden Fleece were. Suddenly Annabeth stood up.
"Annie whats wrong?" You asked, looking between her and the maps.
"You didn't hear that?" you just shook your head slowly.
"Maybe it's just time to sleep-"
"No it was Percy, he was screaming for help cmon!" You decided not to bother questioning it and started chasing after her. Annabeth was following the sound and you just followed her. You guys made it out to the beach, where you saw Percy, just fine and not screaming. Tyson came running out too.
"Percy are you okay? Why were you screaming?" Annabeth questioned.
"I wasn't screaming, but I'm glad you guys are here." Percy explained how he had a run in with Hermes. The thought of Hermes just makes you think of Luke. That kinda sucks.
"Anyways, we need to use this," Percy held up a jar and pointed to the cruise behind him, "to get over there."
"Seems... reasonable. We have to hurry the harpies are getting close." you urged.
"Yeah ask your dad for some help" Annabeth pushed Percy toward the ocean. Why did Percy start with small talk, we're on a time crunch. Never the less a bunch of hippocampi came forward and we were off.
"I've never been on a cruise before, I wonder what it's like." You said.
"Probably won't be like any normal one if Hermes sent us." Percy pointed out. If Hermes sent us you, you hoped it meant what you thought it did. And you hated that you were hoping for that. Luke. Ever since your last conversation with your mom, it's like you've been seeing things differently. The gods really did just use their kids, but could you really turn your back on them?
You were cut out of your thoughts when you finally made it to the ship. You all snuck on and wandered through the cruise. Everyone here was like a bunch of lifeless zombies. Now if that didn't raise your suspicious nothing would. You guys were sneaking around until you found an empty suite on the 9th floor. Sleep was a must right now.
"Us girls will be next door alright?" You said.
"Yeah, don't eat or drink anything either," Annabeth added. She was right, something was off here. You and Annabeth left to your side of the suite to change for bed. Annabeth was knocked out in seconds but you just couldn't sleep. You knew why Hermes wanted you guys here, and it kept you up. While your sister was snoring beside you, you took the chance the sneak out the room. All you had was an oversized t-shirt that hung to your mid thigh and a dream.
As you started walking around, there were no lights to be seen. You started from your floor and made your way up. When you got off the elevator on the 13th floor, you saw the room at the end of the hall had a light on. It was nearing 2AM, most people should be asleep. That's when your gut told you this is what you were looking for. You thought it was time to listen to it. You made your way to the door, and saw that it was unlocked. You slowly opened the door and saw a certain someone with his back facing the door, looking off into the ocean through his window.
"Hey Luke," you said. Luke didn't move for a second, but when he turned it was slow.
"Y/N.. I didn't think I'd see you again." Your lip quirked ever so slightly, and you walked up and sat down on the bed in front of you, now just a mere few feet away from him
"Likewise."
"Lemme guess, Percy and Annabeth are with you? Were you sent to kill me?"
"Yes, and no. We weren't sent here, or anywhere in fact."
"Wow, look at her. Ms. Rule Breaker. What would your mother think?" You swallowed at the mention of your mother. What would she think?
"Well, we haven't spoken in eight months." You looked at the ground.
"Hmm, what happened?"
"You happened, that's what." You looked back up at him, he had a shit eating grin on his face. "Wipe that smile off your face Castellan."
"Or what? You're already here, why waste our time together fighting? We both know you're not here for the gods," Luke teased. He was right, so why fight?
"Just come here," you lunged up and jumped in his arms, kissing him like the starved woman you were. You missed him more than you were allowed to admit. Luke was a sore spot at camp, but hey, right now that was not your problem. You knew you were probably disgracing your family by being here doing what you were doing, or WHO you were doing, but you didn't care. You just needed Luke, even if it was just one last time.
When you woke up after a few hours, you wouldn't say you regret it, but maybe it wasn't the best timing. You were facing the window while Luke held you close. You slowly moved his arm from your waist and sat up, seeing the little clothing you had scattered across the room. Crazy night. You untangled yourself from Luke and got redressed. You truly didn't want to leave, but despite everything you couldn't stand with Luke and the war, too many lives would be lost on his behalf. As you made your way to the door Luke woke up,
"So this is it?" You had your hand on the doorknob and turned back to face Luke.
"Yeah," you made eye contact with him, a single tear falling. "It is."
"Goodbye Y/N."
"Goodbye Luke." You made your way out the door and shut it behind you. You took a deep breathe before rushing back to your shared room with Annabeth on the 9th floor. You opened the door, making sure not to make too much noise, except Annabeth wasn't in her bed. You continued walking into the room when the bathroom door opened from behind you.
"And where were you?" Annabeth questioned as she walked out the door.
"With no one!" You said quickly. Annabeth scared the shit out of you. She slightly frowned.
"He's here isn't he? That's why Hermes wanted us to come here?" You just nodded. "Guess it explains the hickies," Annabeth yawned and headed back to her bed. Your face flushed as you ran into the bathroom. Wow.. awkward!!!!
"It was just a goodbye, I'm not joining him," you walked out the bathroom and laid down next to Annabeth. "I can't stand for a war, no matter how much I love him. Or loved."
"Glad you made up your mind, but it's 6AM, can we sleep a little longer?"
You chuckled, "Of course."

Hello, Hello!!
I hope my request isn't much of a burden-- however, I was wondering if you could do a one-shot with the decay of angels(Fyodor, Nikolai, and Sigma) with a male reader who has white wings?
Quick rundown for the idea;
The reader is the leader of a different organization called the Aviators; the Reader doesn't exactly have an ability but they do have wings-- the reader and their group side with the Armed Detective Agency because reader is heavily in love with bringing people to Justice, like the Decay Of Angels; however, something goes wrong and the reader gets captured while the three DOA members figure out what to do with them.
You can choose if it's more yandere-like or violent, I don't mind, really!! I usually write requests longer but I'm in a rush <\\3
Tumblr media
These wings bind me | Bungou Stray Dogs x Male Reader
Characters: Nikolai Gogol, Fyodor, Sigma
Summary: Those wings you had didn't even grant you freedom
Warnings: Yandere behavior, Gore, Obsessive behavior, manipulation, death, kidnapping
Taglist: @nightshade-clown
A/n: This is very Nikolai heavy because I am biased. Also, sorry, the wings aren't mentioned as much

Y/n was a big name in Yokohama, well, a moderately big name. He was a well-known justice bringer with his group called the Aviators. It was a group of people who thought everyone deserved freedom and the choice on where their wings take them. Some of them were like Y/n, with giant wings granting them flight through the sky.
But some had abilities that helped with bringing justice into the world. Y/n heavily believed in bringing justice to everything that tried to inflict on it. The Aviators seemed to be of decent popularity that even the ADA sought them out as an extra branch. The two organizations were seen as partner groups, essentially.
Y/n still did whatever he really wanted under his association, but he would give the ADA extra people when they needed them. The same went with the ADA sending the Aviators people when they required them. It was quite the relationship between the organizations. No one really expected it, since Y/n was more about vigilante work and the ADA worked with the government in a way.
But here is the leader of the Aviators, analyzing a case with some of ADA's best detectives. Dazai, Kunikida, Autsushi and Y/n were all lurking around the crime scene, looking for any form of evidence to link anyone or anything to the scene. Y/n was with Atsushi, as not wanting to deal with Dazai's shenanigans or Kunikida's harsh comments. Atsushi and Y/n were decent acquaintances and worked well with each other.
The two made basic small talk as they searched the crime scene and conversed with passerbys to see if any of them were a reliable witness. Atsushi left Y/n on his own to look for something, though Y/n didn’t know what. He was on his own, just standing out in the open, it seemed pretty safe with the amount of people around. However, there was something off, and Y/n felt it.
Something in him made his white iridescent wings fluff out in anxiety. None of Y/n’s associates were near bye, and that worried Y/n. No one was there to protect him if something bad were to happen, well, something incredibly bad. Y/n could fend for himself, he knew basic martial arts, but against ability users all he could really do was fly to avoid as many hits as he can until back up comes.
Y/n wasn’t completely helpless, but he preferred being with someone who could save him if he were in trouble. Y/n didn’t only feel just one pair of eyes on him, but multiple. They were watching him, marking his move and every twitch he made. But Y/n didn’t know who was watching him.
Just as the paranoia subsided, Y/n was swept away from where he was standing. The kidnapper knocked him out, and everything else was blurry in his head. Atsushi came back only to find where Y/n stood was blank. He wasn’t the only one who was worried, however.
Atsushi went to his two fellow co-workers and told them what had happened, both seemingly hid their panic on the inside. Those other pairs of eyes that kept a close watch on Y/n left, to find their dearly beloved Angel. The crime scene was left barren by both the ADA and the Decay of Angels. Both were on the hunt to get Y/n back.
Sigma, Nikolai, and Fyodor looked everywhere in Yokohama, all the places they knew Y/n might have been taken. But there was no luck, not until a few days later. It was late at night, and the three DOA members followed some of what passing witnesses said they heard or saw a couple of days before. There was a tiny sliver of hope in all three men.
Nikolai was the first to step into the abandoned shed that rested near a busy roadway. It was covered in foliage and trees, keeping the whole building a secret, or so it seemed. Nikolai, however, paid no mind to any of that, only focused on finding his Angel. Fyodor and Sigma only followed Nikolai, keeping the white haired man at a distance.
The two didn’t trust anything about this place. They were prepared for any form of attack from anyone. Nikolai wondered in, carefree, not caring about anything else other than his Angel. The three stopped in their tracks as they heard metal bars swishing around.
Nikolai ran in deeper into the building, stopping to marvel at the sight of a beautiful golden cage. What quickly knocked him out of the trance was the iridescent, feathered wings of his Angel. Nikolai felt angry that someone would do this to his Angel, no one should cage his dearly love up like this. He jumped up against boxes that were stacked to reach the cage.
Y/n was startled by the sudden stop of the cage he was trying to escape from. He looked outside the bar with teary, enraged eyes. He was met with piercing blue gray eyes that streamed raw anger, yet there was love that trickled lightly. Y/n was left so confused as he just stared deep into the eyes that looked back.
Y/n didn’t notice two others walking into the room that held him in the golden cage. The metal shined slightly with the whisps of moonlight beaming through the cracks of the wooden roof. Sigma glanced up to see Nikolai gazing at Y/n, holding the cage still. Something wasn’t right about the whole situation.
Fyodor felt the same as Sigma as the two shared a knowing look of imminent danger. They stood back to back, covering each other's blind spots. Nikolai used his ability to bring himself into the cage. Y/n was taken aback by what this man did, why bring himself into the cage?
Nikolai crouched down to meet Y/n’s face, a sickly smile graced his face. It unsettled the winged boy, he tried to move out of range, but he was stuck to the floor of the cage. He felt the touch of Nikolai, and it increased the anxiety that floating in him. He brought Y/n into a warm embrace, his smile not ceasing from his lips.
Nikolai gave the other two men a knowing look, and they nodded in agreement. The kidnapper seemed to notice the three and came out of the shadows. Their eyes gleamed with insanity, their laughing was incoherent to the three men and Y/n. Y/n’s fear was practically spilling out of his body, and Nikolai noticed.
“Don’t worry, my dear Angel, we’ll set you free!”
Y/n felt disgusted by that nickname, coming from a stranger. There was so much going on, he didn’t know what to make out of anything. Nikolai covered Y/n’s ears and brought him even closer to him. He silently whispered to him.
“No need to be scared, my Angel. Everything will be okay. You’re safe now! Sigma and Dotsoy have it all covered!”
Just behind Y/n, Sigma and Fyodor were fighting the kidnapper. Their anger was shown in their attacks, and it was scaring the kidnapper. The hood fell off, and it showed the face of the persecutor. Y/n glanced behind his back slightly and gasped as he saw the face of his kidnapper.
“How did you find this place?! I was sure I kept everything out of the public eye!”
Sigma’s face stayed flat, but his emotions were clear to both the kidnapper and Fyodor. Nikolai was too busy with Y/n and comforting him to even notice. Fyodor managed to immobilize the assailant, pinning him to the ground. Sigma walked closer, as he bent down.
“It’s easy for us to find what we want. Now you will pay for stealing from us.”
Sigma looked at Fyodor with an approving look. Y/n and Nikolai were watching from the cage, Nikolai waiting for a change to get Y/n out of said cage. He gripped Y/n harder, to a point it hurt, but he didn’t want to let the h/c haired boy go. Blood splattered everywhere, as Fyodor used his ability to get rid of this pest.
Y/n wasn’t shocked about the death and red soaking everything around him, but it amazed him how easily someone would end other's life. He has killed others before, but only because they were hurting and taking other’s freedom. Nikolai scooped Y/n into his slender arms, hopping out of the cage, unknown to Y/n how he did, but Y/n couldn’t get out of his grip. Y/n was then surrounded by Sigma and Fyodor.
Y/n tried to stand, but his legs were still asleep and he collapsed. Sigma caught him, being careful of his white wings. As Sigma stroked Y/n’s h/c hair, loving how it felt against his fingers. Fyodor was busy taking care of the dead body, and Nikolai was gently touching Y/n’s wings.
Y/n looked up at Sigma, with watery eyes glistening the little moonlight that let itself into the cracks. His lips quivered a bit, fear still settling in his heart after a traumatic event. Sigma brought one of his hands to cup Y/n’s cheek, wiping away tears that threatened to fall. Y/n’s voice was sweet and soft to the three men that surrounded him, they all slightly blushed, feeling honored to hear it.
“Why did you come and save me?”
Fyodor came back, gently walking to the side of Y/n. Y/n’s e/c eyes looked at Fyodor, he stopped slightly. Oddly enough, those e/c eyes froze Fyodor right in his place. He sighed, trying to keep Y/n’s eyes on him.
“Why wouldn’t we? We adore you, my dear.”
Y/n was so confused and look to all three men. He didn’t know who any of these people were and why they were here. The silence filled the building, making Y/n even more uneasy. He wasn’t sure what was going to happen to him.
Y/n looked back to Sigma, hoping he could bring himself to ask the most important question. For some reason, Y/n already knew the answer based on the grip Sigma had on him. The more Y/n slightly struggled to get out, the harsher Sigma’s grip became. The hope Y/n had was slowly diminishing.
“Can I go home now?”
The quiver in his voice was noticeable. Nikolai slightly hugged Y/n’s back as a big grin once again found its way to his face. He was noticeably giggling, seemingly finding the question Y/n asked funny. He brought a hand to pat the winged boy’s head.
“Oh, my dear Angel! Of course not! How else are we supposed to keep you safe if you go home? We can’t watch you every day now, can we?”
Y/n’s eyes widened, more questions and confusion were swirling in his head. Before Y/n could speak again, he was knocked out once again, but this time no one would come to save him. Fyodor carried the winged boy out of the building, leaving NIkolai and Sigma to walk behind him.
Y/n woke up in a dark room, nothing but a bed, a desk, and a bathroom as all that filled the room. The bit of light came from a small lamp on the desk. Y/n panicked and ran to the door, trying to open it, but to no avail. His wings fluffed out in panic, feathers falling due to the amount of stress Y/n was under.
Y/n fell to the ground, trying to hold in sobs. He was so busy with trying to not make a lot of noise, he didn’t notice the three people that came into the room. Y/n froze, feeling arms snake around his body. He frantically looked around and recognized the people as the ones who saved him.
Sigma looked down to Y/n, seeing the fear in his eyes. It did something to him, he cupped Y/n’s face and brought his lips to Y/n’s. Y/n’s e/c eyes widened with fear, but for some reason he couldn’t bring himself to push Sigma away. Fyodor and Nikolai kissed Y/n’s cheeks softly, trying to calm the boy down.
Sigma spoke up, his voice was warm and loving.
"No need to worry anymore my doll, you are safe now. No one will take you from us. Never again."
Y/n choked back sobs. He didn't understand what went wrong. He remembered being with Atsushi, and somehow it came to him being caged once more.
What irony this was, wanting to bring freedom to others and not having any of his own.

Warnings: HH Violence - Cursing - Blood - Mentions of Alcohol and Drugs - Smoking - Grammar Mistakes- AngelxHusk - Valentino gets his ass beated up (just a mention) - PLATONIC
Being woke up with a headache was normal for you, your diet was basically alcohol at this point in your life. Then again to live in this kind of work you had to have one adicction or two.
And your was alcohol.
However this did not felt like these headaches, no this felt more like a fatal one.
You cant remember how it had happen but you were for sure killed by a demon. And what did you get back after years of working to protect others ? Oh yeah, dying alone and also being woke up in the middle of what could have been the apocalypse with the red sky and screms.
Fucking fantastic
You noted move on the side and quickly draw out your knife trowing it at the whatever was making that noise. It was more a reflex you were suprised you still could use your old demons powers.
As you walked to see what you had catched you found a pink creature with one eyes and horns.
Wierd
"Hey....where its the nearest bar?"
You needed a drink.
~☆~☆~☆
"Hey! You wont believe this" Angel said to Husk once he enter the Hotel, the biggest smile on his face, something strange to see since everybody knew he had been having a hard time with Valentino.
"No, i cant see the future" Husk responded in a joking way preparing a drink for Angel.
"A sinner basically destroyed Valentino's bar...well one of them, not the point!! And He was there and this sinner just...basically just humillated him like it was nothing" Angel said his smile getting bigger and bigger as he told Husk. "And that sinner did this crazy move, like they kicked Valentino's face and then took their drink from the air!! It was pretty hot to see"
Husk stared back, wondering if Angel had too much alcohol or had used some new drugs but no, he seemed normal. However, a sinner just basically cleaned the floor with Valenino? He may not be the strongest however not anyone can take him down.
~☆~☆~☆
"I cant even have a drink at peace" you said now walking down the streets, others whispering about you then leaving quickly.
"Hello there friend!" A voice said making you see a deer demon? Well you could not care less and passed by him, ignoring him.
Alastor's eye twitched but he stayed calm turning towards you.
"You did put a show, you know? All the city its talking about you!"
"I dont care about that" you stated looking at the deer that kept smiling.
"Well, it centraly does catch the interest of some...dangerous fellas" at this you simplely rolled your eyes making Alastor want to take them out "But lucky you i know a place where no one would dare to go against you!"
"I dont need that"
"Oh trust me....you do"
~☆~☆~☆~
By telling you that you could stay for free and have food you accepted his offer not shaking his hand and just following him. Alastor noted how despiste your lay back self you were actually very wary of others.
He was so interested in you.
~☆~☆~☆
To Angel you were his new favoite person and hero. Not everybody would dare go against Valentino and most ended being intoxicated with his own drug. But you? Oh you were different.
Of course Angel followed you around like a lost puppy making Husk jealous, but later when Husk found out your drinking habit you both bonded over it.
~☆~☆~☆
Charlie was just happy to have another sinner at her hotel, you seemed cold and distant but she could still see that you cared.
Just days after being there she found her girlfriend and you training in combat together. Vaggie did struggle a lot to get an opening on you as you just defended yourself with a small knife.
"How can you-" Vaggie could not end her speech as your knife passed her defense and stopped just a few inches away from her good eye.
"Your left eye its your blind spot. You have a good defense but you still leave an opening there" you pointed out drinking a bit and letting Vaggie absord the information. "You also need to be quicker"
~☆~☆~☆
Once the older Overlords got the news they shared a laught. It was not a secret that they did not like the V's. So your fight and the lose from Valentino had made them take a liking towards you almost inmidiatly.
Alastor took you to one meeting and during all of it, it was them asking you about your powers and such. Of course you said little to almost nothing only staying back to ask Carmilla about her weapons and how you could get one.
"If you need someone to be killed and not be connected to you, thats my line of work"
And thats how you ended with some blades made of angelic power.

in the depths of my mind, I kept you hidden,  a treasure too priceless to be revealed,  for your soul is pure, your beauty unbidden,  a rose in the fields, unconquered, unconcealed.
On the night when it all began, the sky stretched above, clear and serene, while a gentle breeze rustled through the air. The moon, a slender crescent, cast its ethereal glow upon the dense forests of Pandora, drawing intricate shadows upon the tents nestled amidst the towering trees. Its radiance danced upon the still surface of the deserted lake, while the forest itself seemed adorned with a tapestry of fallen leaves and meandering vines.
Your body felt weak, your heartbeat faltered, its rhythm growing feeble, and your pulse felt strangely sluggish. With a heavy sigh escaping your lips, you sank down onto the ground, your trembling hands finding their way to the tangles of your hair. The wind, mischievous in its playful dance, toyed with the fabric of your loincloth and the flowers and feathers that adorned your form, teasing and loosening a single strand from the intricately braided locks that Kiri had graced with delicately handcrafted beads that evening.
With a desperate gesture, you pressed the balls of your hands firmly against your closed eyes, seeking respite from the world. Colors of light and dark swirled in a dizzying dance behind your lids, creating a kaleidoscope of sensations. The sharp pain that had taken residence above your temples intensified, causing another low, pained sigh to escape from your chapped lips as if carrying the weight of your weariness.
You heard your name before you felt his hand on your arm, his knee touched yours and for a brief moment, your heart almost completely stopped. You couldn't bring yourself to look at him yet; your eyes were strangely veiled as if they were watering. "What's going on?"
There was an uncomfortable metallic taste in your mouth, and you carefully put your hand to your lips, only to discover the crimson evidence of blood trickling on your lips from your nose. Images of that night were difficult to push aside anyway, but in connection with the headache, it was almost impossible to suppress the onslaught of memories.
You cursed under your breath, your voice cracked and feeble, as you looked up at Lo'ak with an awkward expression.
"Bro—" Lo'ak's voice trailed off as his eyebrows shot up, his gaze shifting to the blood on your hand and then on your face. Swiftly, he retrieved a cloth that was secured to his side near his hunting knife. "Take this, it's clean. I only used it to polish my knife."
Gratefully, you accepted the cloth and pressed it against your nose to stem the bleeding.
"You need to see Tsahìk," he said softly, his eyes fixed on your profile.
"That's—" you began to protest, but the pain cut through your words. It hit you suddenly and with greater intensity than before, almost violently, leaving you gasping for breath. You attempted to stand, but your knees gave way, and you slumped down. Lo'ak struggled to keep you upright, his arms straining to support you.
"You have to see Tsahìk," he repeated, and you could only weakly shake your head. Blood trickled down your chin in thin lines, dripping onto the edge of your upper piece, leaving dark-red stains on the feathers. "You've been feeling unwell all evening. I'm worried about you."
That's how he was, Lo'ak Sully. Caring and considerate, not towards everyone, actually towards no one, but towards a selected few, including you. Instead of enjoying the celebration held in his honor, he had barely left your side throughout the evening. Even now, he preferred sitting with you rather than accepting another drinking challenge. In two days, he would embark on another journey to the Eastern Sea as the Tulkun Season was about to begin, and you wouldn't be able to see him for a long, long time. Actually, you should be grateful; missing him would only be temporary, and you would have something to look forward to. Five years ago, when you thought you would never see the Sully's again, it looked quite different. Back then, external circumstances had forced them to leave your clan and seek shelter far away in the East, leaving you with a void deep inside you. Fortunately, those external circumstances had been resolved by now, and Lo'ak, he was both Omatikaya and Metkayina now, being the bridge between the two clans, with the tattoo on his side below his cummerbund serving as proof. You were very proud of him and loved listening to his stories about his other friends and adventures. However, the farewell was close, meaning until his return in six moons, you would miss him, so much.
"You're drunk," you managed to say with difficulty. Speaking was incredibly hard for you, and the words felt fragile on your lips. "The village is over an hour away. And I won't let you fly; I'd rather die a wretched death out here."
"As charming as ever," Lo'ak muttered but secretly agreed. "Y/n, I... Can you stand up?" Of course, you couldn't. He presumably realized that in the next moment. "I'm going to quickly run back to the party, and you'll wait for me to return, okay? I'll hurry, I promise. Do you understand me?"
Your nod came seconds too late; he had already headed back toward the direction of loud music and youthful laughter. The vibrations reached the ground, shaking the earth beneath you. You could faintly hear Kiri's laughter as someone played the blue flute in the background. The spots danced before your eyes without you having to close them, and while the pain in your temples had eased, every sudden movement felt like your skull was about to explode.
A small group of young Na'vi passed by on the other side, maybe ten meters away from you, laughing and drinking while heading straight into the forest, but without noticing you; two couples, maybe a year or two older than you, with their hands clasped and bottles sharing.
The following thought brought a crooked smile to your lips and, inexplicably, tears to your eyes. But it was true. Pathetic as it may seem at first glance, all you wanted was to be truly loved, to have your mate by your side; a man with a strong heart who would love you like Jake loved Neytiri, who would call you beautiful even in the mornings when you woke up with messy hair and a puffy face; who would create a safe haven in his arms, where you could be vulnerable and share your deepest secrets; who would make you laugh with his infectious sense of humor, turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories; who would hold your heart in his hands and cherished it as if it were his own, loving you unconditionally, flaws and all, reminding you that you are enough. Sometimes, more than anything, you wished for that to happen. And on those days, even Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk'itan seemed somewhat attractive with his fleeting, almost coy smile directed towards yet another girl.
Another girl, yes. By now you were convinced that not just the girls but your whole clan had developed a crush, no matter how tiny or big, on the golden boy, and he liked that, of course, he did, he loved the attention and praise from almost anyone; almost, leaving you to possibly be the only person in the whole village who he wouldn't willingly exchange a word with. Not that you minded, on the contrary, you'd never gotten along with Neteyam since you were kids and you knew that it was mutual.
It wasn't that you had never been in love before, experiencing the euphoria and joy of a promising and fulfilling future ahead. But once your heart had been shattered, it became challenging for you to trust in someone else's words, no matter how beautifully spoken. This is why stepping out of your comfort zone felt incredibly difficult for you.
"We're back," Lo'ak's voice interrupted your thoughts, and as he helped you up, you realized who we referred to. Indeed, Neteyam Sully stood before you, holding the saddle for his ikran, and looked down at you, almost with a hint of pity.
"Why him of all people?" you grumbled, giving Lo'ak a weary glance. You felt like tears were ready to spill at any moment. "What about Kiri?"
"I didn't want to interrupt Kiri in her debate on equality versus equity against that flute guy. Plus, Neteyam is probably the only one around here who isn't too drunk to fly."
"No one?" you exclaimed, unable to hide your disbelief. However, before you could receive a proper answer, Neteyam himself lifted you onto his ikran, who rested a few meters away beneath the canopy of flower trees, alongside the other majestic creatures. With a swift motion that would typically have prompted an eye roll of annoyance — your current state sadly left no room for such sentiments — he positioned himself right behind you, his presence uncomfortably close, your thighs almost touching. He gently patted his ikran on the head to greet her, before he encircled your waist with his arms in a way that made your back lean onto his torso. And then, with a profound connection, he established a swaheylu bond with his ikran.
"Hold on tight," he whispered to you and nodded toward a slightly lost-looking Lo'ak behind your shoulder. His voice trembled slightly, almost imperceptibly, as he continued. "I may not be fond of you, but I really don't want to bear the responsibility for your death. Got it?"
That night was the moment when you first grasped the gravity of the situation, realizing that it was indeed something serious.
∾⋄∾⋄∾⋄∾
When Neteyam, as carefully and gently as he could, lifted you off his ikran right in front of a village that seemed unfamiliar to you and carried you with quick, firm steps into one of the tents in his arms, the night air suddenly seemed terribly cold and biting, and you realized you weren't home. All the words on your lips vanished into the darkness, and you seemed even too weak to cry.
He whispered reassuring words to you, told you he had to bring you to the nearest village he could find, looked at you with so much concern in his eyes that you were sure you were hallucinating, asked you to try and stay awake as long as you could, but as soon as you had entered the tent, everything seemed to flow into a single moment. After Neteyam formally introduced himself, an elderly woman with red feathers in her hair told him to carry you right after her, anything else would have been a waste of time. She asked him a lot; your name, your age, what had happened that evening, whether anything like that had happened before.
You were almost surprised at how collected he was and how many of the questions he was able to answer so quickly, but actually it was only logical – he also spent as much time with Lo'ak as you did, so you, too, couldn't help but learn a lot about the oh-so-legendary Neteyam Sully. As if that mattered.
Inside the tent, there was an unusual calmness, contrary to your expectations. In your own clan, Tsahìk's tent was always bustling with activity, filled with people seeking healing or simply enjoying each other's company. But in this clan, it felt different. It was quieter, almost serene, yet it carried an air of solitude. You couldn't help but notice a middle-aged man seated on one of the mats, his head buried in his hands as if he were anxiously awaiting something. Or someone. Next to him, a little girl lay with a peaceful face, seemingly asleep.
You really had no clue why this man of all people was stuck in your mind so clearly – this inconspicuous man, the only steadfast memory of that night.
The night when it all began.
The last thing you felt was Neteyam's hand on yours. Then everything went black and the only thing that remained was the picture of golden eyes and the man in the healing tent.
Vawm na txon. As dark as the night.
∾⋄∾⋄∾⋄∾
When you felt his fingertips on your wrist, you involuntarily winced and looked up. "Hey, Lo'ak," you muttered, and he immediately pulled you into a gentle hug and kissed your hairline. His voice sounded hoarse and rough and the bittersweet smell of sweet yovo fruit mixed with a bit of salt hung on his skin; and heaven, you would have loved to never let go of him again.
For a moment he just looked at you in silence and frowned before he sat across from you on the grass. Lo'ak started to say something, but his voice failed and a low sigh caught in the air around you.
"You look tired." You almost laughed, and it didn't even feel wrong. You look tired. Tuk had said the same thing earlier that morning while sitting in front of her herbal tea and half of Neytiri's infamous sari seed bread. She had preferred eating her morning meal in her grandmother's tent, because you were there too, not for relaxation, but to drink the disgusting mixture Mo'at prepared for you every single morning for the last three moons. Uttering those words, Tuk had even cast the same concerned look at you, with the same worried expression on her freckled, delicate face, just like her older brother was doing now, and it had almost broken your heart.
"I didn't sleep well last night, that's all."
When he said your name, admonishing with a sigh, his voice quivered, teetering on the edge of concern, before he hesitantly continued, "Are you… okay?"
His unspoken words hung heavy in the air, etched upon his countenance. You could see the unvoiced questions etching lines of worry upon his face, 'In the past few moons you haven't gotten back to me or anyone else, nor did you answer a single radio call, I tried to reach out to you several times, but you ignored me, you never asked to speak to me, and when my family sent you my greetings you just smiled and made promises that you never intended to keep, nothing.' yet they remained trapped within the confines of his sealed lips. The restrained inquiry and underlying disappointment were palpable, like a suppressed ache that threatened to consume him; and deep down, you knew his effort to withhold his concerns only magnified your own pain, intensifying the weight of his unspoken concerns.
"You're my best friend," he finally just said and ran his hand through his already chaotic braids.
At the same moment, out of pure impulse, you brushed a tangled strand of hair from your face. You had already heard last week that Lo'ak and Kiri would return early to transport some rations from here to Awa'atlu, thanks to Max and Norm who had decided to expand their labs to the Eastern Sea. At the same time, you didn't want to get too excited because they would only stay for a maximum of one week before being away for three more moons. Nevertheless, you had missed him. Every day since that party and their department two days later, you had thought of the moment he and Kiri left for the Eastern Sea, how he had briefly refused to leave until you were feeling better, how hard it was for you and his parents to convince him that everything was alright; how Lo'ak had promised to check in on you over the radio every evening just before the eclipse, how he had kept his promise, but you hadn't, and how you were contemplating telling him what had happened in those three months since he was gone, too anxious of his reaction; even more than the one time you had to make an important decision almost ten cycles ago:
"Why is he so mean? His radio code name is Pathfinder, and he has the audacity to criticize mine? He called me Plain Grandma, can you believe that!?"
"He also called you Slow Vipertail which is far worse in my eyes," Lo'ak had commented dryly.
"Shut up, Eagle Eye!" you had crossed your arms in front of your chest, pouting, "What is so bad about Stargirl?"
"No offense but it couldn't be any girlier."
"Well, I am a girl."
"But do you want the enemy to know that?"
"I thought our frequency was secure?"
"You never know with them." When you had continued to pout, Lo'ak had nudged you encouragingly with his elbow, "Come on, you can be Silent Thunder if you like."
"Isn't that what you call your farts?" Kiri, who had remained completely silent during your discussion, was the one who had made that comment. You had made a disgusted face in response.
"Okaaay," Lo'ak had groaned, "Then be anything but Stargirl, Eywa, just choose something or I'll do it for you. Remember, your code name sticks with you forever."
In the end, the discussion had dragged on for so long that during the evening meal, the two of you had managed to irritate every clan member within a two-meter radius. Jake had taken it upon himself to bring it to a close and gave you your personal radio code name, which you cherished to this day. Not because it had come from your former Olo'eyktan, but from a person you loved and respected like your own father; it was more than an honor to you.
You looked at him now, at Jake's identical copy, a bittersweet smile forming at the corners of your mouth, tinged with nostalgia. His eyes were like the early sun rays that morning at Tsahìk's tent; two orbs of amber with irregular, whitish spots of cream – strange that this, of all things, crossed your mind at that second.
"Eagle Eye to Skyracer," he playfully nudged your knee in an attempt to lighten the mood, "Come on, tell me why you avoid me."
And then, then you said it out loud; a single little sentence of four syllables, and his once sunlight-radiating eyes were covered by lids streaked with fine, pale blue veins, holding a glimmer of melancholy, like a fading sunset.
"Please, no," he whispered, his voice filled with sadness, as you sought comfort in the embrace of his arms, burying your head in the crook of his neck. Salty tears mingled with your lips as you clung to each other, his fingers interlacing with yours, a desperate grip that turned his knuckles almost white, the weight of the impending fate pressed upon you both.
As the realization settled within him, Lo'ak let go of you and collapsed onto the grass, his shoulders shaking with uncontrollable sobs and trembling with the intensity of his emotions. You immediately wrapped your arms around him again, wanting to share his emotions, knowing that this pain was as much his as it was yours, while the air around you seemed heavy with helplessness as the two of you sat there, engulfed in the depths of your shared pain.
"No!" he cried out all of a sudden, his voice choked on his tears. Saliva glistened on his quivering lips, his breath was ragged and uneven; and his eyes, bloodshot and filled with more unshed tears, refused to accept the harsh reality you just told him.
"Why? Why you?" Lo'ak's voice cracked as the words escaped through clenched teeth. His fists clenched tightly, nails digging into the ground beneath you, as if trying to anchor himself to the pain, refusing to accept the meaning behind your words. His tears mingled with yours as you still held him close, feeling his agony reverberate through your own heart.
Lo'ak's voice was laced with raw fury. "This can't be happening! It's not fair!"
The wind whispered through the grass, carrying the echoes of his anguish across the desolate landscape, but leaving his voice hanging in the air. The setting sun, a silent witness to the unraveling of two intertwined souls, cast its pale light upon the scene, casting long shadows around you.
Lo'ak's emotions gave way to desperate pleas, his voice cracking with desperation. "Please, there must be a way. I'll talk to my dad, he… he can…" he choked on his tears once more, "Anything. I'll give anything."
You stroked his trembling cheek, tears flowing freely down your own face. "I know you would. But sometimes, there are forces beyond our control, Lo'ak, I need you to understand that."
Lo'ak's resistance crumbled, his body sinking into a heap of devastation. His nose ran, mingling with the tears streaming down his face. He clung to you, a lifeline in the midst of a tempestuous sea, refusing to let go even as the waves crashed around him.
The evening wore on, its grey hue mirroring the somberness of your hearts. There were no words that could ease the ache or undo the cruel fate, so, you remained there, seeking comfort in the silence, finding comfort in each other's arms for you drew strength from one another, offering support amidst the overwhelming feelings that engulfed you.

The next day, as the sun bathed the forest in a golden glow, you were sitting near the quiet stream by yourself, keeping yourself distracted and enjoying the gentle tickle of water, when you heard footsteps growing louder as someone approached you. You turned around, a calm expression masking the inner storm within you, just to see Neteyam, his expression hardened with determination
Your eyes met his, and you could see anger, confusion, and concern in his gaze all at once, catching you completely off-guard; it was strange that he sought you out in the first place, and then seeing him so… emotional, that was a first.
He stood tall before you, the sun at his back, giving him an angelic glow that he surely didn't deserve, and it was ironic, too, given his angry pout that you were sure Lo'ak would've made fun of if he was here.
Neteyam's voice was laced with a tinge of bitterness when he spoke, "You've broken my brother's heart. What did you do to him?"
"You already have your answer, apparently I've broken his heart," you said sarcastically to which he scoffed. You remained composed, refusing to allow his words to rattle you, and your voice carried a hint of indifference as you added, "Trust me, I haven't done and wouldn't ever do anything to intentionally hurt Lo'ak."
Neteyam's nostrils flared as frustration mingled with his anger. The man, normally composed, couldn't be further away from that in that very moment, when he took a deliberate step closer, his gaze locking with yours. "Don't play innocent with me. You must've betrayed him in some way."
"Betrayal requires intent, Neteyam," You held his gaze, unyielding in the face of his accusations, "Whatever you think I've done, it wasn't with the purpose of hurting Lo'ak."
Neteyam's anger wavered for a moment, replaced by a flicker of uncertainty. His brow furrowed as he tried to make sense of the situation. "Then why? Why is he crying and suffering if it wasn't your doing? What could have caused this?"
A bittersweet smile graced your lips as you shook your head gently.
"It's true, isn't it? What Ivät said at training this mor—"
"Don't say his name," you warned, your voice carrying a deep, growling tone from the back of your throat.
Neteyam's anger softened, replaced by curiosity and even a sense of empathy. Though skepticism still lingered in his voice, genuine concern emerged, "But why? Why would you go back to him? He should be exiled but here you are, running back to him after everything he's done to you."
"Tell me again why any of this matters to you?" you questioned.
"Lo'ak cares for you, deeply. I care for him, deeply. That means everything you do eventually affects me," Neteyam explained, attempting to convey the weight of his words. "Understand that your actions have consequences for everyone around you."
"I'm not having this conversation with you right now," you declared sighing, walking past him with determined steps.
"Just tell your parents you don't want to," he shouted after you, "I can… My family could support you, you know. You don't have to do anything against your will."
"Well," you turned around, snapping at him, "you can't fight against fate, can you?"
There was a brief pause as Neteyam absorbed your words, realization slowly dawning on him that there might be more to the situation than he initially believed. His eyes darkened, and his nails dug into his palms as he struggled to control his emotions, "You can try."
You let out an ironic huff, shaking your head slightly and biting your inner cheek to prevent a sarcastic comment from slipping out.
"I am not your enemy," he continued in a softer tone, seeking your eyes, "I'm only here trying to help you, yet you—"
"That, Neteyam, is not my concern," you interrupted him harshly. You met his gaze finally, the weight of unspoken truths hanging in the air between you. "I never asked for your help, nor do I need it. If you truly care about your brother, perhaps you should be there for him and ask him directly how you can help him instead of mingling with my private life and assuming the worst of me."
With that, you turned back around and kept walking away with determined steps, leaving Neteyam standing by the stream alone with his swirling thoughts, but you couldn't deny the flicker of vulnerability within you as a twinge of guilt tugged at your conscience for the way you had treated the only person who had recently saved your life, accompanied by a sense of regret for your harsh words, realizing that you had never even thanked him.
∾⋄∾⋄∾⋄∾
A few hours later, you were sitting on the wooden floor in your family’s tent; leaning your head against the slightly dirty rolled-up rug near the entry and pulling your knees so close to your body that the hem of your loincloth slipped a long way down your thigh. The evening had long since settled over the landscapes, and it was now dark outside. In your hands, you were holding a handcrafted mug with still steaming herbal tea that Kiri had brought you a few minutes earlier, and you clutched it so tight that your knuckles were clearly visible on your skin.
Kiri was now sitting at the opposite side of you next to your hammock as she thoughtfully twisted the hem of her loincloth between her fingers, like she always did when she didn't know what to say, before deciding to leave the fabric alone.
"Now tell me, what's going on?" You sighed softly and something in your friend's gaze brought tears to your eyes, but you didn't want to cry, not again. You liked Kiri a lot, she was the girl you were closest friends with, in the entire clan, but you hated to refer to her as 'best friend', although, strictly speaking, she was. You liked Kiri actually so much that you couldn't do it to her. Not after seeing what it had done to Lo'ak. You couldn't bear to see two broken souls within a day. But your previous encounter with Neteyam had taught you something: you had to be the one whom they heard the news of, not someone else, let alone a stranger. It had to be you. That much you owed them at least. And yet, it was so difficult.
"Everything's fine. Really." A weak smile crept on your face involuntarily, while you took a sip of your tea. "Come on, Kiri. Don't be stupid, you're missing out on the evening meal."
"You as well."
"I'm not hungry."
"You're always hungry." You sat up straight and leaned one leg over the other so you could look directly at Kiri. There was something in her gaze between concern and helplessness, but you could only vaguely make it out. She bit her lower lip lightly before continuing. "I met Lo'ak earlier, he looked... he really didn't look good, and he seemed kind of absent."
"He's probably missing Tsireya already."
"He said I'd better talk to you about it."
You kept quiet at that, unsure how to respond.
"You know, Neteyam said that you-know-who goes around saying… that he has approached your parents, seeking their approval to court you once again? Is that true?"
"Yes," you answered without any emotion in your voice.
"But there is something else that saddens you."
You lifted your shoulders slightly, just a tiny bit, and you already felt the tears threaten to fall down your eyelashes. You ran the back of your hand over your face, exhaled shakily, and pressed your lips together, but the first sob stumbled over your lips before you could have done anything about it.
You muttered a curse word, and it took you a moment to pull yourself together. "I'm sorry, Kiri. I am so incredibly sorry." The tears ran down your cheeks unsteadily, and dripped onto the feathers on your chest, leaving behind light stains that faded a heartbeat later. "So far only my parents know, and probably yours, too, along with Tsahìk, of course. And Lo'ak, he knows, too. The others will find out when it can no longer be avoided, and… and this moment, it will come, but… you really cannot tell anyone, Kiri."
Kiri stared at you blankly, a single hair strand had come off her bun and fell over her shoulder in a slight wave. She was afraid. You were too. You sniffed softly and looked down, just a brief moment before you pulled yourself together and looked up at her.
"I am dying, Kiri, and there is no cure."

so basically, my first upload kinda flopped and I’m trying to find out the reason why, whether it’s my writing, the topic of the story (which I can understand since it’s not everyone’s cup of tea), or if it’s the algorithm. if you like this piece of writing, please let me know through your interaction 💕

Hi! LOVE your au, and I was wondering if there's going to be more about whoever they got interrogated by? Also, the people Donnie talked about in Casey's bed time story. Please say yes bc I really wanna know how people reacted to them before, *gestures vaugly* y'know.
Who? You mean Bishop?? Here he is!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I didn't even have to design him, haha! And yes the people Omega and CJ were talking about are mostly the EPF (Earth Protection Force) and some US governmental officials. We will be hearing a bit more about them in the Holiday Special, but I don't plan on diving TOO deeply into their history.
All you need to know is that the EPF and what remained of the US Government basically had to combine forces in creating the Central Park Colony using an underground bunker that the EPF had created for such an occasion. This ultimately leads to an under-the-table power struggle (because people can never just work together) which only gets messier when influential Yokai refugees like Big Mama come into the mix after the fall of the Hidden City.
It's all very political and boring and frankly, we're just sticking to the fun side of things that directly impacts the turtle fam.
(Plus most of them are going to die anyways when the Liberty Colony falls on "The Day the Sky Bled Red" as Omega called it so too bad for them.)

Tumblr media
SCARAMOUCHE
giving
✧ quality time.
he really knows no other way to show his love and affection for you other than spending time with you. he enjoys your presence and constantly seeks it out, this lets you know how much he likes you. you know he hates spending unnecessary time with people he doesn’t like (which is everyone but you) , so whenever he asks for your company, it makes you smile.
“there you are, i was looking for you.”
receiving
✧ words of affirmation + physical touch.
whenever you compliment him on absolutely anything, it never fails to make a bright blush spread to his cheeks. the same goes for whenever you hug or kiss him unexpectedly. he always says something snarky when you touch him in a loving way, but never makes a move to pull away or move you. eventually he’ll even lean in further to the warmth and comfort you bring him.
“archons, you can’t go one minute without throwing yourself back into my arms again, can you?”
ZHONGLI
giving
✧ gift giving + words of affirmation.
whenever the two of you go on dates, you’re always met with some sort of gift (not too expensive) and a sincere compliment. he always praises you when you do well on something, no matter how little it is, and smiles warmly at you. his words and gifts always make you blush, and you repay him with a chaste kiss.
“here love, this is for you. you look beautiful, as always.”
receiving
✧ quality time.
he loves spending time with you, but he loves it more when you seek out his company or make plans for the two of you. he finds it so utterly charming whenever you walk around town, going to all his usual hang outs, just to find him and spend the day with him. it makes his heart flutter and his stomach twist.
“you were looking for me? oh, i’m sorry dear, i didn’t realize.”
VENTI
giving
✧ physical touch.
cannot get enough of snuggling into your arms, or wrapping himself around you. he finds so much comfort in the warmness you bring and constantly has to have his skin touching yours. is totally clingy, and isn’t ashamed about it. he’ll shamelessly hang on you in public, kissing you and mumbling something about not caring if anyone sees.
“so what if they’re staring? i’m not ashamed. i’ll shout how much i love you to the sky’s if i have to.”
receiving
✧ physical touch.
he’ll love it if you’re just as clingy as he is. you two are basically inseparable, you’re always right there next to him wherever he is. you can’t count the amount of times you’ve gotten him out of trouble or dragged him home drunk.
“cmon venti, let’s go home now.”
XIAO
giving
✧ acts of service + quality time.
he isn’t very good at expressing his emotions with words, so he does it with his actions. he’s constantly helping you with whatever you need, just say the word and he’s on it. with the need to be there to help or protect you, it means he’s almost always with you. he finds extreme comfort in your presence, and always makes a point to be with you multiple hours a day.
“do you need help? hold on, i’ve got it.”
receiving
✧ physical touch.
he adores when you sleepily wrap your arms around his waist or wrist, stopping him from leaving. he usually stays with you till you fall asleep, but sometimes you get clingy and ask if he’ll stay the whole night with you. when he agrees, which he always does, you’ll wrap your arms around him and snuggle your face into his shoulder. his arms hesitantly wrap back around you once he’s sure you’re asleep.
“wait xiao, please stay.”
AETHER
giving
✧ acts of service + quality time.
he likes to show off a bit and save you from monsters, so he usually lets you join him on his adventures. he makes sure you never get hurt, and if you ever do, he has a bag full of medical supplies at all times. he enjoys your company and likes being relied on.
“hey, wanna come with me on some commissions today?”
receiving
✧ gifts.
he loves when you give him gifts, especially clothes or little trinkets he can hook on bags or belts. he likes to show them off and have them visible. you usually have to end up getting something for paimon too, otherwise she’ll get jealous. and it’ll get even worse if aether were to brag about the gift to her when she didn’t get one.
“you didn’t get a gift? hah, i did. look, isn’t it the cutest? i can hook it on my belt and everything.”
KAZUHA
giving
✧ words of affirmation + physical touch.
he’s constantly writing you poems and reciting them to you with a fond smile on his face. the verses always have a series of compliments and things he likes about you in them. his words always make you blush, butterflies filling your stomach. he thinks it’s cute when you shy away from his gentle and loving touches. avoiding eye contact when he kisses your hand, just so he can grab your chin with his other and make you look at him once more.
“what’s that look for? did i fluster you?”
receiving
✧ quality time.
he likes watching your reactions to things, anything, so it’s nice when he gets to spend time with you. he teases a lot, always trying to gauge a cute expression from you (which is all of them in his eyes)
“you do know you’re the most beautiful being i’ve ever laid my eyes on, don’t you?”
