I’ll probably post more about this in more detail, especially now that the reboot is pretty much done and dealt with. (There is no confirmed Season 3. Stop lying.)

So you know, most of what I have to say in this post is rambling and complaining, because I am ticked off. So if you like the ending of the season, good for you… this is the opposite opinion to that.

Spoilers for Season Two and it’s ending:

This season, for me, is definitely above All Stars and Paketiew. Definitely. I genuinely enjoyed the first two thirds of the season, and its slip ups weren’t too big of deal breakers for me on the season. (Except Millie. I will forever be salty about it and I can’t say I like her character anymore after what this season did with her)

The season was funny, it was engaging in a lot of plot lines, I thought the order was pretty clean, I’m enjoying it and really invested in how all of these plot lines conclude….

AAAAAAANNNND then Zee outs Caleb.

I break the season to three acts. Pre-Merge is the first act.

Episodes 6-8 is the second act.

And right when Zee outs Caleb, is where I’d say the Second Act ends, and the Third Act begins.

And the third act, in my humble opinion, is GOSH. AWFUL.

Like, OH MY GOSH, they screwed up EVERYTHING.

Except MK and Julia in Episode 9. That’s wholesome.

But other than them, literally ALL the other plot lines in the season that I was invested in were completely botched in conclusion. And I can’t like these plot lines anymore.

How do you do that?! Like, WHAT happened here?!

This may seem incohesive, but I’m just that baffled.

I don’t even care about the elimination order right now. You CAN make whatever finalist you want work so long as the story suits it. So Im not gonna say “Oh Julia should’ve won” or something like that, as a complaint. That’s personal preference.

Remember the post I made complimenting Priya and Caleb’s relationship plotline?

That aged like milk. I don’t like them anymore. They were obnoxious as I’ll get out and I just wanted them booted ASAP.

I made a post about how I thought Priya would quit instead of being eliminated. I do think that would’ve been better than what we got because at least there Priya would be making a conscious decision that no one else can factor in. Instead she acts stupid for the sake of Julia and spends the rest of the season whining about Caleb instead of the what they’ve discussed and learned from each other before.

And Caleb being a finalist? After what he’d done I’m shocked he wasn’t booted in a heartbeat after that.

I don’t think they should’ve became a couple tbh. Apologize and make up, sure, but not get together in this whole mess. With how the story was going, it seemed they’d realize and recognize that. But no. It lead to nothing. Way to go.

Damien? I don’t care if you thought he should’ve won or not. That’s not the point. The writers didn’t want Damien to be a finalist. Fine. Okay. Just make an elimination that’s logical and wraps up his storyline-

NOPE. Julia stole the idol. Which I expected, but it’s something she somehow managed to do when paranoid Damien was always around it btw. She did this OFF SCREEN. So even the writers don’t want to come up how she managed to do that difficult task. YOU COULDNT AT LEAST SHOW US?!

Why would they even eliminate Damien? No one was even after him. It’s because they didn’t want to separate Priya and Caleb…

Stupid.

It really solidified to me that Damien had no relevance to this seasons story and could’ve been written out of the story. As tragic as that is to say. Like, make Priya or anyone on the Rats the one Millie pushes down the 4 Point Slide, make Priya find the idol and lose it at her elimination to Julia, and nothing changes.

What a waste of Damien’s character.

I love Julia in both seasons. So you know. I genuinely think she and Bowie have the best character arcs of the two seasons combined. I was actually kind of routing for her in the finale?? Ngl???? Like, I didn’t hate her, I found a nastier World Tour Heather, someone who WORKED for her goals. Good person? No. But an intriguing one to follow.

But this is the definition of plot armor. Multiple times they had to make the other characters act irrationally just so they don’t vote Julia’s ass off in a heartbeat. Which, if they were rational, would do cause everyone KNOWS that Julia is a bad person!

That’s why in the first season and the first half of this season, she had to make herself getting voted off NOT an option for the others. So she won challenges to get immunity. She allied herself with MK to get an extra vote. She got on Bowies worst side to make him want to work with her.

But in the second half it’s pure plot armor.

I thought Bowies elimination and how she managed to convince an entire team to go with it was stretching things. But I could push it aside cause it made sense for Bowie to leave in that episode.

It just got worse.

Once MK is gone, Julia has nobody on her side and no excuse. They should all vote her off in a heartbeat. But they don’t because they are stupid.

They somehow trust her?! With everything she says?!

Even the smartest characters like Priya trust her. She says she knows she’s being used, but decides to let it happen. That is very OOC for Priya. One of the most game-smart characters in the entire series!

Julia being a finalist is actually an idea I’m on board for on paper. But it was just illogical how she got there.

Also, they cut the villains hair off AGAIN.

TOTAL DRAMA, PLEASE STOP SHAVING CHARACTERS HEADS. IT WAS GOOD EITH HEATHER CAUSE IT MADE SENSE FOR HER CHARACTER AND THE STORY. AFTER THAT ITS ILLOGICAL AND CRUEL FOR NO REASON. THERE ARE OTHER WAYS FOR VILLAINS TO GET COMEUPPANCE BUT YOU KEEP USING THE SAME ONE EVEN WHEN IT MAKES NO SENSE. ITS NOT FULFILLING ANYMORE AND WERE ALL SICK AND SEEING IT. YOU DRAGGED THIS THROUGH THE MUD, KILLED IT, AND NOW REVIVED IT JUST TO SMACK IT WITH A SLEDGEHAMMER.

STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!!

*breathes*

At least Julia and MK were great. Mostly because they mostly weren’t in the third act together.

Oh yeah, and there’s also Wayne and Raj. I like them. They’re fun. I like their pre-merge story.

And then Wayne won??

Yeah, Wayne, you know, the comic relief character with no strategy in a very strategic-centric season. Winning.

I can’t tell if it’s supposed to be a joke or not.

If it is, it’s funny like, the first time you see it.

If it’s not, and we’re supposed to take that seriously…

Ooh boy.

I see people compare this to Owen. I don’t think that’s fair given both seasons separate contexts, the characters screen time impact, and theming.

I personally compare this to Beth. Both are tied to someone very similar to them until the very end where their partner, who got more to do, gets eliminated, and then they proceed to fly under the radar because they’re the least nasty people left in a nasty cast remaining.

Now HOLD ON. I am NOT saying Wayne is on the same quality of a character as Beth. Far from it. Wayne will always be the better one of the two for me, because I actually enjoy him on screen, and most importantly, he wasn’t a hypocritical gross cheating creep.

Wayne winning a season CAN work on paper. I’m not opposed to it.

But this is not the way to do it.

This isn’t a guy who has won people’s hearts through being great towards them, he’s only interacted with Raj. This isn’t a guy who has quietly played his cards when necessary. This isnt a guy who has flown under the radar due to being the lesser evil. This isn’t a guy who has clear skills apparent to the viewer but not the characters.

He has done next to NOTHING all season.

I can defend Wayne having some variety of character in season 1, where he was sometimes capable of holding a leadership position, and willing to be patient and loyal, but NONE of these were portrayed in THIS season.

So pretty much, he has won by doing pretty much NOTHING.

At least Raj got a plotline that wasn’t being comic relief 24/7. And I’m not saying Raj should’ve won. Wayne can definitely be his own character, but Raj got eliminated in episode 11/13. Too little. Too late. Honestly, if you’re gonna have Wayne win, eliminate Raj earlier. Swap Raj and MK’s eliminations. At least then Julia making it far is justified cause in Episode 12 she has the idol.

I’m sorry if this is me rambling, but I was genuinely insulted and baffled by the ending of this season. This season started out really good, then declined in quality as it went on.

I definitely prefer the first season. While it’s not as funny as season two’s first two thirds, and has weaker challenges, it’s more cohesive and consistent in quality that reached logical conclusions for almost every character. Love or hate them.

This season, to me, is proof that you cannot botch endings to stories. You try something fancy and screw up, people are gonna remember the mess of an ending, and not the journey. I think that’s apparent with the reactions I’ve seen so far.

You can have a bad beginning. You can even have a bad middle. You can salvage those. But the ending is what you can’t afford to mess up because that’s what your audience will walk away from and remember.

When people look at this season, they’re gonna remember the badly handled ending rather than the good stuff in the first half.

That’s just sad, honestly.

sneaky peek at my current wip (also the first wip i had in months) and some thots on it. i need to rant (complain) so bear with me

so far its going pretty good, it doesn’t look bad and thats cool bcs i defs wouldve given up if it did look bad at this point.

obviously this is some kind of realism style and its okay, its not the best, idc. what sucks is that i dont even want this style but its the only one i can do. like i wanna do cartoons and other artsy stuff with clear lines or just sketching. stuff i see online, but i CANNOT do it, no matter how hard i try. i will always do some realistic shadowing and then its over bcs the composition isnt right for me anymore. and i hate it bcs not only would my life be so much easier if i wouldnt fall into this kind of ‘realistic’ style, which is straight up a pain, id be so much more productive as well. but i’m some weird perfectionist dumbass (blame it on my virgo rising or whatever) so shading and tiny details it is.

speaking of details, i love that i accidentally built this wip on my sketch file, which was not nearly a good enough format and now the quality SUCKS ASS but thats nothing new to me so i’m just gonna accept that every detail i draw is like 5 pixels only and you can barely see them.

another thing i suck at is color theory. and when i started this project (yesterday) i was set on doing only b&w. literally 3 seconds in i used colors and i regretted it immediately bcs it looked good which meant i had to continue bcs we dont do half assed shit… so now i committed to color and i don’t understand color theory. like i can see it working but it doesn’t make sense and all i do is experiment bcs i see no sense or pattern (now i question my tiktok diagnosis of autism, neurodivergence and adhd)

at this point i have also given up at originality. im just copying my references picture, which is fine bcs i will never be able to draw a whole ass person, and i would defs not be satisfied if i wouldn’t add details. so now im stuck at drawing a whole military outfit and my reference picture is also only 9 pixels so i cant even make out what im drawing. i’m just guessing at this point.

okay for now the last part of my complaining… @blnk338 why did u choose such a unique mask for reaper? the way i struggled with the concept and its still not perfect but i dont wanna get hung up on it so i’m moving all over the place and going back to the mask every other minute… pretty sure the mask design alone took me 2 hours to put together so it made sense to my brain and then another 3 to design to my liking lmao

anyway this is a snippet of my current take on reaper from rwys, which so far is only the body but there will probs be eyes at some point, if i dont give up. first time in months, almost years of drawing something, so i guess big thanks to blink for giving me the motivation and a character to work on for fun. hopefully i can give an update on progress soon lol

we'll start with dion/deon (unsure how you spell it) aka the still force. he was the still force, right? the green one? i have tried to colour code them for helpful reference for myself

he's the worst one. i hate everything about this man. i want to bite him but in a bad way. realistically i probably hate him the most cos he is the force that shows up the most, even after that plotline was over, so i project all my sheer fucking hatred onto him but GRRRR I AM SNARLING AND BARKING AND FIGHTING AGAINST MY CHOKE CHAIN TO GET TO HIM AND TEAR HIM TO PIECES. i also hate him cos he took iris away for like half a season so he could do magic on her or whatever. yeah he was "saving her life" apparently, i don't care, i blame him for everything that was wrong with her. i am so glad candice patton got to rest for a few eps but i HATE THIS MAN. to me he is the embodiment of everything i disliked about the last 3 seasons: bad writing, bad acting, and terrible cgi. and speaking of awful cgi...

i forget what the actual woman's name is, like who she is when she isn't a dollar store she-hulk. she's fine i guess. i have no strong feelings, as a person she is relatively inoffensive. but the weird rage monster she turns into? it's stupid, it looks bad. if there was a reverse version of the "solid design" square i would have filled out that because the design is genuinely EMBARRASSINGLy bad. and her whole thing is a cheap rehash of the killer frost plotline. "wahh i have a dark side i can't control!!" sorry i don't care, we did this 3 years ago. and then she's like "omg we're all a family! you two random men i've never met are my brothers <3 let's all go live in the magic fairy dreamhouse version of joe's house in the clouds and live happily ever after!!" like oh shut UP.

then we have the sage force, bashir, and this one is a plot twist cos i actually kinda like him lmao

if bashir was a one-off meta of the week and not one of the forces i'd actually really like him? he's a douche but in an enjoyable way, i genuinely think the part of his intro ep where he shows all the characters their greatest fears is really interesting (bar the part where iirc cisco's greatest fear is "working at star labs with the people he loves and cares about forever", like... okay. and then this was the catalyst for him leaving... nvm i hate bashir actually

nah jokes aside i genuinely kinda don't mind him as a character in his own right. again my memory is fuzzy but im pretty sure he had psychic mind control beef with cecile which was fun. he was also basically the only one of the forces who was like "this is fucking weird and i hate it", at least at first, so he has my respect for that. and again, im just gonna say it, he's hot, which makes his sins easier to forgive. remove him from the overarching concept and he's fine, he just had the misfortune of being part of the worst plotline in the show's history.

While it's tempting to assume that the surface level appearances of winston's fantasies (the brutal thoughts he has regarding Julia, which are the most violent and foul) are just twisted projections of orwell's mind, as well as the sex-crazed layer scenes. However, when we hear abt Winston's wife and her 'duty' to the Party it's clear he didn't want or enjoy what they were doing there.

Pleas please go to hereforthelizardsex's post about 1984, it's so good, it's just what im saying but better. Im not gonna talk about the deeper things behind winston's fantasies, but I'll briefly try and defend the 'sex-crazed' scenes.

Winston and Julia's rebellion comes through the sex they share. Because their love is beyond any 'duty to the party', the euphoria of love is infinitely more powerful than the Party as it tries to limit sex to something undertaken only for reproductive purposes. Winston, who was a victim of r/pe when his wife, and by extension, the Party, forced this copulation upon him. Through his lovemaking with Julia, he is free.

Julia's promiscuity is her liberation. In a society that has removed her agency and her sexuality, she finds freedom through her relationship with Winston.

you had a real good set of points, but my brain pokes me until I've defended 1984's handling of julia and winston's fantasies. Remember, a book should never be hated for covering sensitive subject matter. Otherwise the booktok authors will win haha

Okay okay first of all, I totally agree with the BookTok author thing because books these days are getting shittier by the copy and many people have already talked about this with much better words then I can possibly come up with but it’s definitely an issue in the current online reading community

About 1984, I am fully aware that the whole sex crazed part of the plot was their form of rebellion. Had it been well written, it could have been immensely good for the story. But the fact remains that Winston and Julia still hate every single woman for not being like them or agreeing with them. The fact remains that Winston, who works for the Ministry of Truth and knows what happens and what is wrong with the Party, only decides that the Party is bad when he wants to get his dick wet.

The whole storyline with his wife was bizarre, I’ll give you that. Although going as far as saying that he was raped… I’m not sure about that one. Winston likes sex, it was only when he realized his wife only did it to fulfil their duty to the Party that he stopped enjoying it. It’s fucked up for both him and his wife, mostly for him considering that we only get his perspective on this and don’t even know what happened to his wife.

Writing characters that love and enjoy sex and find liberation through it is fine, writing characters that have some weird desires and fantasies is okay if you’re into that kind of stuff. For characters like Winston and Julia, living in a world like this one, sex crazed fantasies can make sense. Mostly, my issue is that Winston wasn’t just fantasising about having sex with a woman he couldn’t have, it was the entire smashing her head in and basically fucking her corps, or whatever remained after that brick smash, that bothered me. The fact that Julia was in love with him all along doesn’t make any sense either. They work in different departments, live in different places and have different social lives (as forced upon the by the Party, I’m very much aware) yet she’s crazy in love with him without ever having said a word to him and only seeing him in passing. I get that sex was their way of rebelling against the system that oppressed them, but I think there could have been a much better way of writing that.

There were many ways they could have rebelled against the Party. The liberation through lovemaking would have been a great asset to the story had it been written better. Julia wasn’t a young woman whose promiscuity liberated her, she was a young woman who was obsessed with man and belittled everyone else in order to gain his favour. Winston wasn’t a man who found freedom by sleeping with Julia, he was a man who rightfully hated the system society had forced him into and he coped with violent fantasies both before and after meeting Julia. Neither of these things make either of these characters likeable or sympathetic in my eyes.

Winston is the product of a messed up world qnd my issue is that, in the end, he is a fictional character in a fictional world who has fictional problems created my a man who could have made slight changes to make the story less misogynistic and more about what it should be about: the consequences of totalitarianism.

This is also why the last part of the book, after his relationship with Julia is found out and they are both arrested by the Thought Police, is the best part of the book. Only then we learn how truly messed up thid society is and how it works. It was amazing snd the obly part of the book I genuinely enjoyed, probably because Julia and their relationship was barely in it. Of course, this part of the book only worked because of their relationship, I’m fully aware, and I honestly think that, had their relationship been better, that part would have elevated the book to a whole other level. There is a way to convey the message Orwell wanted to share in a way that wouldn’t have been as misogynistic. Orwell chose not to do that, most likely because things were different in that time.

In this time, I don’t like this book for all these reasons. I like the critiques it gives on society and I like the way the world is constructed and how all of it works. It is purely Winston and Julia’s relationship that ruined this for me. Had it been better written, I would probably have loved thid book as much as you seem to do.

In the end, 1984 is just a book that you happen to like and I don’t. I get your points, I really do, but they don’t change how uncomfortable this book made me feel. Not because of what it had to say about society, but because of what it said about women.

he’s going to be the first one that notices you’re hungry, even if you don’t realize it yourself. he’s quick to grab a snack and break it open to you

same thing with being thirsty— if he notices that your water bottle is empty, he’ll quickly find the nearest vending machine and buy a bottle.

temperature is also no problem. he can immediately tell whenever someone’s cold; but he usually helps you first

too hot? he’s slowly putting down the room’s temperature

too cold? his left palm starts emitting some sort of heat in your direction, hoping it creates some sort of aid

if your shoelaces are undone, and/or he notices that there’s a button undone on your shirt— he’ll fix it for you

will ask to take your pictures on dates, and he’ll also help you pick out the best photo (not that any photo of you is short of any beauty)

in short— people will notice that he’s actually a big simp for you; because of how observant he is with you specifically.

he definitely meant that as an insult, but his input on detail makes it very useful in things like relationships

it would’ve been stalker-ish, if it weren’t for the fact that deku does this out of admiration for his s/o

so if you so happen to collapse due to overusing your quirk— deku has a detailed plan on what to do. it’s almost scary.

he puts detail in a lot of things, anniversary gifts, birthday gifts, and so on.

deku’s also the type to plan things weeks before it actually happens. like.. planning out the perfect birthday gift

and with this, his memory is really good. so it’s very unlikely that he’ll just suddenly forget anniversaries and birthdays.

i hc deku as a bad cook, so he eats takeout food more than his homemade food

but he’s takes note of your allergies, your dislikes with food— and he finds himself mumbling small details to recall what you like

when you walk out in pretty/good outfits for dates

i didn’t really know what kinda name i went for this one but let me carry on

kiri upfront is very confident, and friendly. he never shows a mean side to anyone,

and there are rare cases of him being bashful

he’s kinda almost like a golden retriever? since he’s always nice and friendly to everyone

but then when you enter the room; he suddenly goes quiet, and he’s left alone with his rather loud thoughts about you

he didn’t really know how to properly approach you at first

but him being kiri, he’s still rather friendly to you (for now)

when he’s messing around, practically sharing one braincell with kami and sero

and then you suddenly walk in— he snaps out of his foolishness, and greet you with his very warm smile

“hey y/n!” he waves at you, and he hopes you don’t mention the teasing look on both kami and sero’s face

sometimes when he’s doing his close combat training, and he notices that he’s getting too close to you

he’ll be like “woah man, maybe we should move locations.” bc he doesn’t wanna hit you by accident ;;

kirishima prefers to not stand near you when his hair is all spiky. like he’s never conscious about it, until he’s around you

man poked sero with his hair before, and he doesn’t want to do that to you

kiri always looks at your hand, just to see if it’s occupied with something. his thoughts linger to what your hand might feel like

“their hand looks really.. soft. argh! i shouldn’t be thinking about these kind of things in public! im sorry y/n”

bakugou really only notices kirishima’s simping ways

bakugou always mentions the fact that kirishima goes really silent whenever you’re around—

moving aside all of that, kiri always carries your things.

you’ll beg him to give you at least one thing, and he’ll say no because it’s “not manly to let someone carry all of this.”

no one would be able to tell that he’s simping for someone

because unlike kaminari; he’s not like IM HITOSHI SHINSO AND IM ACTUALLY A SIMP

he’s a lot more discreet, and no one has really caught on, besides you and kaminari of course

he’s a lot less sarcastic with you, asking you about anything that’s happened instead of just being there

he prefers it to hear you talk. the way each word and syllable rolls off your tongue smoothly, and the way you use your hands to emphasize things

he’s amused.

oh and the way he looks at you? almost any normal person can sense the simp in him pop out (he’s so contained though)

You had no hesitation letting him color your tattoos. “Have fun, babe.” You pinched your cheek and relaxed under the big tree you were both sitting under. Today you had thrown all your plans away just to be with mikey all day.

The wings on your forearm was now stained in hues of purple and green with accents of yellow. “So, besides today, how have you been lately?” Your gaze swayed from him to the inside of your eyelids as you were drifting to sleep slowly. “Okay, I suppose. School is annoying.” He laughed and your heart twinged with love.

You chuckled and looked down at your arm. "Mikey you done?" All you could hear was just a "hm".

“Let’s just rest for a little bit I'm tired.” You pushed the markers into the grass and your arm wrapped itself around his waist as you pulled him down and into your side. Mikey couldn’t fight it as his ear was filled with the sound of your mellowing heartbeat. Your fingers danced in his hair till you knew he was fast asleep.

You stayed awake just looking at his angelic features as the sight of your multi-colored arm shifted your focus. It was so meaningless to him but you loved it as you knew that it came from his heart and mind.

It was him– perfect.

“Y/n! ” Baji called as he stepped into the large house. “I believe she's in the gazebo or her office, Mr.” One of the worked associates greeted baji at the front door. He grabbed the bags from baji's arms as he started walking. He was off towards the back of the house to find his fiancee.

“Y/n-!” he called as he rounded the corner of the house and into the back yard. The gazebo was empty. He stopped and stared for a moment. He was sure that this is where she'd be.

“Up here, my love.” A voice said as he looked up to see Y/n at her office balcony. “Hey there” he waved as your eyes squinted in a smile. “How was your day out?” you asked as you brought your teacup up to your lips. “It was okay~I have something to show you!” he called and held up a small shopping bag in his large hand. “I’ll be right up!” he raced back into the house and up the stairs to where you already stood waiting for him in the doorway to your office.

“What’s so amazing that you found today?” your eyebrow raised and he opened the bag quickly. “But first-” You interrupted you as you grabbed his face gently and gave him a passionate kiss. “What’s this for?” he asked as he continued to stare at your face lovingly. “Just happy to see you is all.” You smiled.

“Now, show mee.” he motioned to one of his hands that was stuck in the bag he held. He was brought back to reality and pulled the plastic package out of the bag.

“…Markers?” you asked and your tone of voice made him laugh. “Not just any markers. They’re tattoo markers. They’re safe for the skin.” He corrected you and you rolled your eyes. “You’re still on this?” You asked with an amused expression. “Of course I am! This was the deal and my love for you is way too much so.” he said shoving them into your hands so you could inspect the box.

You read the back and you had to admit he was right.

“You said I could color your tattoos IF I found tattoo markers. Safe for the skin and everything!” You knew he did it and that you had to hold up your part of the deal. “Okay fine.” You sighed as you handed the package back. “Yay! Beautiful Thank you!” He jumped and laid a gentle kiss on your nose.

“We can do it later before dinner.” You agreed.

“Finally! You take forever.” He sighed as you moved your sunglasses up your nose. The grass tickled your bare legs as baji sat next to you. “I couldn’t help it. Chifuyu that jackass didn’t want to hang up the phone.” he stood on his knees and moved behind you. His hands gently rubbed your shoulders as your head fell in an exasperated manner.

“I hate to burst your bubble, Y/n. But, I called you out here for the deal. Not a massage.” You whined as you flopped down on the grass, your t-shirt lifting on your back.

“If this stains, I will make sure to throw out all color in your life. Your life will be a dull kaleidoscope-” “Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever you say, you big baby.” He laughed and opened his pouch full of the tattoo markers.

He lifted the back of your shirt more till the full picture was revealed. A dragon with demons following was the full picture- a dark reality…that he were going to make colorful. What can he do he loves your tattoos so much.

He sat on his lower back and got to work filling in the different parts of the dragon. Every once in awhile you would spasm and try to make him mess-up. Yet, with a slight tug on your hair, you would become limp and obedient again.

“I’m almost done.” Was the phrase that almost made you weep with joy. “Finally.” You let it slip and you felt a tug on your hair again. “Ow.” You rubbed your head. You could feel him draw and move the felt-tipped weapons on his back.

“Finished.” He cheered and grabbed his phone to take a picture. He showed it to you and ombre scaled decorated the dragon with the demon’s faces were colored red and blue. It looked nice. You saw a couple of smiley faces hidden in there and felt like everything looked complete.

“Okay, my turn now!” You yelled and grabbed his arm. You struggled and pulled him to the ground and grabbed the black marker that was in his hand. “Y/n, no.” he said strictly. “This wasn’t apart of the deal.” He expressed. “Excuse me? Sorry, I don’t speak Japanese.” Your english rambled off quickly from your tongue. He decided to just deal with it as you took your time drawing a mustache on his face along with random doodles you could think of.

You finally stopped your antics and took a picture with your phone to look at afterward. “You look so cute, look!” You pulled up the picture and shoved it in his face. “I look gross man!” He ridiculed but you wrapped him up in your arms quickly,

“My gross man.”

You were on your period and hell you were pissed, your mood swings were just making the situation more shitty.

Draken on the other hand was just trying to help you but every now and then you'd snap at him for absolute no reason. "Oi, can you stop whining for once?"

He said with pretty much no emotion at all. And that's all it took for you to break down in tears.

Draken was taken aback, "babe hey, hey, I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that please stop crying- I". “Wanna play tic-tac-toe?” He asked and you looked around, surprised he was asking. “Um-” He didn’t wait for an answer and grabbed your legs– pulling you closer to where he sat.

Draken took the permanent markers out which was on the floor for god knows why. You wiped the rest of your tears and grabbed the orange marker out of his hand. He lifted the sleeve of his long shirt and created the grid in black ink. “Wanna go first?” He asked and you took the opportunity to land an 'X’ in the grid.

“Fine. You win this tournament. But, I know I’ll win next time.” You said laying back and closing his eyes.

The bottom of your shirt lifted and he could see the familiar black ink on your side. “Stop staring at me like that, pervert. I have rights.” You pulled your shirt down and he let a laugh rip through your chest.

“Chill. I was just looking at your tattoo.” He said and you shrugged. “What about 'em?” You asked as his eyes closed once more. “Nothing. Just looking,” he sighed, “I wanted to be a tattoo artist before all of this.” One eye peeked open and you looked suspiciously at his figure. “Are you any good?"

Draken just chuckled at your question.

“Give me one!” You lifted the side of your shirt and waited patiently.

He shrugged, finding nothing else better to do. You already had black ink staining your skin so he decided to add on. It was another simple dragon but it fit your character and personality perfectly.

Time seemed to slow as you tried to take a sneak peek of the masterpiece he were currently working on. You planned to take a picture later and get it done, yet, it would have to be in secret.

All of a sudden, the bedroom door popped open. “Welcome back to Earth.” Mikey greeted. He capped the marker and helped you up.

"Why are you here" You asked while getting up, "Rude Y/n Chan, I'm still gonna answer your question though POLITELY, Ken-chin called us here so that we can go on a short trip or something to make your day better. Right ken-chin". Mikey looked over at draken, "Right whatever, can we go now?" He looked over at you for your response and all you did was kissed his neck because of your damn height and tagged along behind Mikey.

“Woah. You got a new tattoo?” Hina said as she lifted up your shirt and you shooed her hands away.

“Eventually.”

"I GONNA THROW UP ON YOU WITH ALL MY MIGHT IF YOU TRY TO GET NEAR MY TATTOOS MISTER " You exclaimed loudly as he started following you like a lost puppy around the kitchen, where you were busy making your 'grilled cheese'.

"Babe C'mom little color won't hurt and it's not like I'm trying to bite your tattoos off-". " See, there you said it, you're exactly gonna bite my tattoos off" Chifuyu sighed having enough of your nothings, he suddenly back hugged you, you can feel his large hands wrapped around your hip.

"What do you think you're doing?". You asked as you turned around to see his face,

"If you're not gonna let me color your tattoos then I prefer to stick with you like a koala, and you sure as hell know I ain't letting go." Chifuyu said and you eventually gave up because you knew nothing will change even if you don't agree with fuyu.

So now here you are sitting on chifuyu's lap as he continued to color the wallflower on your shoulder. "You done?". "Hold on a minute babe it's almost over, -All done" Chifuyu replied.

You sat up and started making your way to the mirror to see what he actually did " Y/N!!! Wait" chifuyu voice said and you turned around to see your boyfriend running over to you.

"Wha-", before you could finish your sentence he lifted you up and threw you over his shoulder. "The actual fuck chifuyu, what did you do! PUT ME DOWN YOU ASS"

"It's just better if you don't see it ya know, and I'll make sure you don't see it until I leave" Chifuyu chuckled quietly as he continued making his way to your bedroom.

help omg he’s in a state of panic

HE DOESN’T KNOW HOW THIS HAPPENED— like,, the person that cares about your birthday the most (besides you) is him‼️

izuku must’ve planned things out precisely, even going to the point that he’d buy your birthday present 2 months ahead

because he’s just so worried about messing things up. he’d never live it down if he failed this one day

he walks excitingly to your room, ready to pick you up for the day— since he wanted to take you out on a birthday lunch, to celebrate the day

well, it was mostly for a birthday lunch, but also because he wanted you to feel better

you’ve told him that the day had started out on a wrong foot— since you woke up to your best friend ignoring you for a reason you couldn’t figure out.

you reassured him that you’d find out later, but regardless, you wanted to cheer up— and not waste this day on sadness, and have a nice lunch with izuku.

“today is going to be wonderful, i claim it!” izuku exclaims excitingly, gently squeezing your hand— and you can’t help but be uplifted by his words

temporarily

you felt a weird feeling in your stomach, and it was all familiar too, the cramping in your abdomen—

oh, it was that. and izuku was able to recognize what it was. way to start of this birthday experience, right?

the both of you guys end up dashing to the nearest washroom, taking care of it immediately— there’s a concerned look on his face

“are you okay? are you in any pain?” he’d ask, running the back of his hand along your cheek in an attempt to comfort you

“i’m fine, izuku, it’s all good. now, let’s go!” you’d beam in excitement, which started a chain reaction— and lightened up izuku’s mood.

the discussion was put to rest on that, and the two of you went on like normal— as the both of you headed to the designated restaurant

there would only be more misfortunate events to happen, as it appeared to be that the moment you and izuku stepped in the restaurant

the waitress that was serving you both had an interest in your boyfriend, even though you were RIGHT there to see all of it

and oh wow, it was so subtle— you wouldn’t have guessed from the airy laughs, her lingering gazes, and the way her hand would touch his shoulder

and also the way she’d get your order wrong, or she’d spill your drink on you as an ‘accident’

oh and your boyfriend definitely knew about what she felt, and he was not pleased

she even went as far as to ask him if the date was boring, and if the complementary cake would make up for it— her efforts on being subtle making quite the jump.

which made you super frustrated and just overall,, not good, on your own birthday— and even izuku could see that, despite you not saying a word

so, izuku quickly paid for the food, and the both of you guys bailed the restaurant swiftly

it was still pretty early in the day, but all you wanted to do was sleep, and forget that today was even supposed to be a special day.

he left you alone in your room for you to change into comfier clothes— to your requests, and when he came back, you were in a state of distraught

and he’s super bothered, brows furrowed and everything. why must you be sad on your own birthday? how did this all go wrong? and how can he fix this?

“please don’t cry, Y/N, i’m so, so sorry.” he apologizes, his hands rubbing your back as tears dripped into your pillow

“i don’t,, know how this happened! if i knew the staff there were like,, that, i would’ve not picked that place. today was supposed to be an amazing day for you but..”

“don’t apologize izuku,” you reassured, rubbing the incoming tears away, “none of this was your fault, i love your efforts! this,, just sucks.”

“i know sweetie, i’m sorry for that,” he rubs your stomach when your face scrunches up in pain, “you know what? i’ll be right back!”

he quickly leaves for a bit, only to come back with a selection of desserts, your gift and his laptop “we can watch disney movies! or well,, anything you want. i know that disney movies make you feel better!”

you stare at the selection of desserts, and you finally smile, “yeah, yeah. that doesn’t sound bad.”

he sighs in relief, and presents you your birthday gift “open this while i set things up!”

you stare eyes wide at the bundle of desserts, “thank you, izuku!”

“anything for you, lovely.” he presses his lips onto the temples of your cheeks— happy to see you smiling

his plan for the day wasn’t very descriptive, and he decided that he was just going to go off what he wanted to do

rather than what izuku did— which was planning in advance.

‘i’m just gonna go off what i want, no plans made!’ is what he told himself in his head, as he went straight for your room

he’s puzzled when he enters your room, and sees a not-so-happy Y/N, face contorted in dismay

“sad?” you finish his sentence, “ah, no!” you shake your head— dismissing your expression just now “it’s just that,, my best friend is ignoring me. i don’t know why though, and she won’t tell me.”

you nod, feeling a little too intimidated to even speak with the mood she’s in— she glances at your boyfriend, who’s oblivious to your encounter with your mother

“keep your mouth in check, child. make sure you don’t do anything to embarrass yourself even more.” and with that, she leaves— her words lingering in your mind

it was a downer, you didn’t need this today— and your sudden mood change was bound to get noticed by your boyfriend

“what happened?” he asks with concern, “did bakugou rain on your parade?” he asks, and you would’ve laughed but,, you honestly couldn’t find yourself to

“oh, it’s just..” you struggle to find yourself finishing your sentence, when the employees of the restaurant start singing you a happy birthday

you’d hate to say it but,, your mood was like that for the entire date, even when you brushed it off like nothing— and acted as if nothing went wrong

and when you flop onto your bed, eyes welling up in tears— he panics

“oh no, no, no!” he panics, dropping down to comfort you “baby what’s wrong? did you not enjoy today?”

“denki, i enjoyed today, of course.” you state, hands wandering up to pet his blond hair

“but then, why,, are you crying right now? i don’t want you to feel sad today! i know i’m not someone that looks serious, but i’ll definitely make things work!” he states with determination, and denki finds relief when he hears you laugh

“i saw my mom today”

“oh,” his brows furrowed, “i’m sorry, sweets. did she say anything rude?”

“oh uhm, im not sure if she meant it but it did hurt my feelings,” you simply state, not wanting to give the specifics, “plus with the best friend thing,,”

he’s silent for a bit, before he speaks “you know what? it’s okay. it’ll be okay. your best friend- not sure why she’s like that, but she’ll come around. and with your mom? don’t worry, and don’t let it worry you! it’s your special day, and you will feel special.”

denki backs away, and before you knew it, sparks radiate from all around his body— making sure he doesn’t touch you at all

“yaaaay!” he’s drowsy, and he dumbly raises his thumb high— which makes you burst out into giggles and pure laughter

“denkii, you cannot keep doing this!” you exclaim, but you still laugh when he replies with the same comedic ‘yaaay!’

you finally calm down, and you lean to press a kiss onto his lips, “thank you, denki. i,, really appreciate your efforts.”

he might feel stupid at the moment, but he’s glad that you’re happy again.

kirishima eijirou

looks like his usual self, but he’s internally panicking— he just figured that he needed to get himself together, for you

he had an idea on what he was going to do for you on your birthday, he even prepared a gift for you— 3 weeks in advanced (with the help of bakugou, his secret wingman)

it wasn’t an impromptu celebration like kaminari, but it also wasn’t super planned out like midoriya

eager, he approaches your room to give you a simple happy birthday— followed by a small shower of kisses

there was only one class for that day, so the rest of the day would’ve been lenient, right? wrong

on the contrary, his plans are disrupted when he sees you scrambled on the floor, notebooks splayed across you, as you memorized various things all at once

“h-hey, happy birthday!” he greets with his usual smile, and it falters slightly when you don’t showcase that delightful smile

“hey eijirou,” you say, eyes glued onto a section of your notebook “apparently, two extra topics were added into the math and physics finals test! and i had no clue!”

eijirou probably should be worried like you, since the written finals exams does somewhat impact his grade— and on top of that, the finals are in 3 days

and he knows that he should let you prepare BUT! it is your birthday,, why should he not celebrate your birthday?

“i feel like you shouldn’t be too worried about it babe, it’s your birthday after all!” he reassures, but he continues before you get to question him “you’re a hard working person, and even if you don’t absorb those extra topics— you could always run to bakugou, or yaoyorozu for a quick run down!”

he’s not wrong

you give a tired smile, a genuine one— which makes him silently cheer out of success “thank you, eijirou. i guess you’re right. it is my birthday, and i should be celebrating.”

and with that, eijirou takes you out for a simple celebration! he’d take you out for some food at a good restaurant, and then he’d take you out on a nice walk— as the both of you ate your dessert

he thinks that the celebration is going smoothly, despite the fact that you seemed fatigued, restless even— just from studying four extra topics back and fourth

otherwise— you seemed happy, eagerly blowing out the candles on the birthday cake the restaurant presented to you, and even grasping his arm closer as you ate your dessert

but it all crumbled down when you got one simple call that afternoon

looking at the caller’s id, it was your mother— who, otherwise would’ve been happy or at least calm on the other side of that phone, but you were greeted with hostility

“what are you doing?” she chides with a brash tone, and you try not to shiver, and when you answered that you were out celebrating with eijirou, she wasn’t pleased

“what?! just because it’s your damn birthday, doesn’t mean you get to relax around, kay? exams are this week! and you’re aware of what’s going to happen if you don’t pass, right?” though she’s not physically there, you can feel her sudden criticism

“..yes, mom.” you decide to take it all in, not wanting to anger her

“good.” and with that, she hangs up without a proper goodbye, the only time she acknowledged the current date was when she was scolding you

you brush it off, when you’re asked if you’re okay— the blatant yelling from your phone being difficult to ignore.

while the two of you start heading back to the dorms, you’re informed of quite the terrible news

“class 1-a, i must apologize since this is abrupt, but your math and physics finals are set to a day in advance, due to an urgent faculty meeting. but we can all assume that all of you have studied the material, right? take care, and don’t be out past curfew.”

this pushes your stress levels over the roof, and you ended up running back to the dorms— just to study the unfamiliar material

being your concerned boyfriend, the red head goes to check on you— only to be saddened to see you in such a distraught state on your bed, tears running down your face as you examined the material through watery eyes

“hey, sweetheart, it’s okay.. it’ll be okay,, i’m sorry that you feel this way, especially since i promised you a good day today!” despite displaying a gentle smile, you could sense that he was feeling terrible too

“don’t apologize,” you wipe your eyes, which only continue to generate more tears “i know you’ve tried, really! and i’m sorry that i had to bring you along. you definitely didn’t need to see all of that.”

he sits next to you on your bed, pulling the covers over your legs “i know it’s just,, i wish i could’ve done something more, y’know? i would’ve helped you study but you know that i’m well,, me!”

you giggle at his insinuation, and he moves closer to you, head leaning on your shoulder “man, i wish i knew what was going through the teachers’ heads. i could’ve— oh wait!”

he springs up, as if he suddenly remembered something important, and he sprints to his room

when eijirou comes back, he’s holding a tiny box, that has a bow— placed neatly on the center of the lid

“open it, babe!” he smiles, “i can’t believe i almost forgot! oh— just open your present!”

and when you open it, you’re ecstatic— unsure how to describe the sudden surge of happiness. “eijirou, you bought me a,, promise ring?”

he kisses your cheek briefly, unable to hide the blush adorning his cheeks “yeah,, you don’t have to accept if you’re not into jewelry! i could just switch it out for something—”

“no no, stop kiri!” you stop him in his tracks “i love it, so much. thank you for everything. especially for cheering the stressed and gloomy person i was today.”

he smiles, “it’s no issue, really. if my Y/N’s happy then i’ll be just as happy.”

and with that, you spent the rest of the day in eijirou’s affectionate arms— and you passed the exams with flying colors because kiri managed to get bakugou to give you a quick run through the day before

bokuto is a jealous baby owl and you know it,, know it too well... he gets pouty if your attention is elsewhere even for a minute!

you, on the other hand, is as cool as a cucumber. well, that what it looks like anyway.

you get jealous quite a lot, to be honest, but your pride won’t live if you show it so you just try to shrug it off every time

but when kou gets a little too much attention it pisses you the fuck off

you get snappy and your mood is down for the day but kou is always on his way to make it better~

the baby owl may be oblivious but when the topic is about you, he pays attention to your every movement and to what makes you tick

so when someone!! a person you hate because of their flirty attitude and rude remarks gets a little too close to your baby--

oh, it's about to go down!

you’re in the cafeteria sitting on one of the free tables, waiting for your hyperactive baby owl, when you see a certain someone clinging to Bokuto and pressing their chest against his arm

aND WHAT PISSES YOU OFF MORE IS THE OBLIVIOUS SMILE ON BOKUTO’S FACE

you turned around and looked at the juice box you bought for bokuto and grabbed it roughly, stabbing the straw to drink it yourself

you knew how popular bokuto was and how ‘plain’ you were but it still hurt when people never respecting bo’s personal space and your relationship as you two were publicly open with your relationship

akaashi, who was lagging behind bokuto, saw this and quickly rescued the dense captain making a certain someone whines about it but akaashi paid no mind and dragged bo away and towards your table

“hey, babe!”

you looked at him and rolled your eyes, scoffing a little with the straw still on your mouth as you proceed to ignore him

bokuto’s eyes widen at that and sat closer to you, leaning closer and putting his head on your shoulder, nuzzling at you.

this usually makes you break but nope, your pride said nope and you ate lunch with bo pouting and whining to you. akaashi who watched the whole scene sighed.

the next time you saw bokuto was at dismissal with him racing to your classroom the moment the bell rang. he went inside when your teacher dismissed you and waited on the side for you even though you were ignoring him. but what slightly shocked you was the serious face he has on.

when everyone else was gone and you were about to go to, bokuto grabbed your hand and made you stay

“what’s wrong? please talk to me...” He whispered, hugging you close to his body.

you pouted at that, the gesture cracking your cold demeanor quickly. you sighed and hugged back the sweet boy.

“i’m sorry for ignoring you, kou...”

you felt his smile on your skin making you smile too

“It’s okay but please explain...”

his innocent words and eyes made you shy. maybe you overreacted a little bit but your ego is too big sometimes

you averted your eyes and looked at your shoes, bokuto’s arms still around you.

“cus... you let (h/n) touch you and you were smiling too!”

you whined a bit, looking up at him. his surprised expression then turned into relief and he started laughing

“who knew you were the jealous type too, (Y/n)!”

you pouted and hid your face on his chest,

“That’s cus my girlfriend is too pretty and too many guys have their eyes on you!”

you scoffed playfully at that, not having the energy to remind bokuto that those guys were just asking for some notes or something to you, knowing well that it would brew into bokuto pulling up his ‘facts’ and arguments on you again that those guys were unto something...

this small bean is also one of the easily jealous type and he creates a safe and danger distance around you in his mind

there’s only a certain distance a guy can come close to you and if that line gets crossed, he goes pROTECTIVE MODE

tanaka and noya are proud of their pupil as they watch him circle around you like a rabid dog or crow?

he is always with you! ALWAYS! And he always buys you some cold drink or if you don’t bring lunch, he lets you share his bento with the courtesy of his mother as he asks her to make a bigger lunch for him when he knew that you don’t really bring your own lunch.

so when it was lunchtime and hinata was nowhere in sight, that worries you a LOT

you run to the courtyard where you two usually hangs out with kageyama but was surprised to only see Kageyama and his milk box

jogging up to the tall male and you asked him about shoyou and you heard an answer you were not expecting to hear

“some fancy pink letter asked him to go to the rooftop, it said that they wanted to say something to that tangerine”

(y/n).exe has stopped working

kageyama looked at you with a quirked brow, still sipping on the milk box, he poked you with a curious look

“why did you let him go, you idiot!” you said, surprising kageyama who pouted and glared at you

“why the hell are you yelling? he’s just meeting someone!”

“you dense blueberry!” you shouted and hit kageyama on the shoulder with a light scowl

kageyama was about to retort when a familiar childish growling caught his attention as you both looked at the side and saw a glaring hinata racing towards you two at a fast rate

“why you kageyama--! don’t get too close to my girlfriends!”

hinata slotted himself between you two and started bickering with the tol blueberry

you sighed at the scene in front of you and a light pink object caught your attention. there it was, a pink chocolate bar in hinata’s hand as he waved it around, trying to punch kageyama.

you frowned at it and started walking away, leaving kageyama and hinata at the courtyard. hiding from hinata, you ate lunch in the bathroom stall as icky feelings start to grow.

after lunch, you quickly run to your classroom wanting to avoid seeing hinata at the moment

but luck wasn’t at your side when Hinata dragged you off and got inside the janitor’s closet with you.

“hinata, what are you doing! lunch is already finished, i’m gonna be late for class!”

you tried to leave the small room but hinata closed the door when you tried to open it

“no! you left me with kageyama all lunch break!”

“i-i had a stomach ache and went to the nurse’s office--”

“i went there too, you weren’t in there”

an awkward silence filled the small room while you looked at hinata with surprise

“i-it doesn’t matter--”

“It does matter! If you feel the need to lie to me then it’s a big matter!” hinata said, frowning at you

you sighed and let hinata hold your hand

“i heard you got confessed to”

hinata blew a fuse at that and started waving his hands furiously, “h-how’d you know?! i didn’t accept it, i promise--!”

“you didn’t?”

hinata stopped for a moment and looked at you, eyebrows furrowing

“yeah, i got myself the best girlfriend... why would i wanna change that?”

you went closer to Hinata, letting your body hit his and hugged him

“i-i’m sorry... it’s just that, i thought you would find someone better and leave me...”

let’s be real here, you’re definitely the jealous one in the relationship. I mean having a boyfriend who’s too pretty to comprehend and easily attracts a lot of attention can make you like that. but you hide it pretty well, well most of the time anyway...

you snickered behind your hands, listening to the lying snake stutter a complain but akaashi cut her off

the snake scoffed at that and walked away, stomping

there was silence for a moment but then keiji called out, surprising you

akaashi smiled softly at you, walking closer and patted your head gently making you feel flustered.

Hello, was thinking of making a webtoon and I was wondering if you had any tips for comic creators?

uhfnjd heres some off the top of my head:

- use the process thats easiest for you! i know csp has a lot of comic page settings/presets but tbh for me (right now anyway) its way too complicated and too much work..,.its easier to just use the grid and box tool instead of creating panels with all these layers and uhfjdf no thanks

- not every panel needs backgrounds!! 1 actual background every 4-5 panels (or one per page if youre doing pages) is enough!! just to remind the reader where they are!! otherwise use patterns/colors/etc

- look at other webcomics to see how they handle certain situations!! like if youre wondering “hmm is it weird to use x here? / can i get away with x?” just go look at other comics to see if they do the same!!

- try to make diverse panels!! its okay to do a bunch of face shots, but ive read comics before where literally every panel is just a face shot and its meh LMFAO! try to use different angles, scenes, etc. one of my favorite things to use in panels to break the monoteny is 1) panels with NOTHING but speech bubble(s), 2) panels that show an element of a scene (like outside the window, the sky, the scenery, etc), 3) off-center whatever it is. cut off their face by half the panel. frame it cinematically. 4) weird framing like just the very top of their hair or something

- dont be afraid to make your style look silly/dumb. chibify your characters in funny scenes. make them low-res. not every panel needs to be the mona lisa (in fact you should save all your effort for the high-impact panels)

- on that same note, dont waste time on bad panels!! ive had that feeling before where i wanted a certain panel to look good but it just DOESNT for some reason?? either 1) erase the whole panel, do other things, and return to it a day or two days later to try again, or 2) just leave it. let it be ugly. odds are its not even that ugly, its that your style is honing. i GUARANTEE it looks just as fine as your other panels to your readers (plus theyre gonna spend 2 seconds on it reading the speech bubble and then move on)

- (this is very specific to me, but) backgrounds dont nessecarily need to be super detailed. obvious if the background is the focus of the panel and youre trying to communicate something with it, it should be clear, but otherwise you can get away with just the impression of a street/shop/room/etc!! again, dont waste too much time on things people will spend 2 seconds on!! as long as their brain sees it and goes “room,” youre fine!!

- its ok to choose a style for your comic that makes your life easier. obviously i would LOVE TCWG to be in full color but its just way too much work for me, between colors, shading and backgrounds (especially since its harder to use plain/pattern backgrounds in color comics), so i purposely chose a comic style where i rarely have to shade, and only use the gray spectrum and lots of plain white!!

- make sure you pace yourself!! a lot of my tips are things to streamline the process/make things faster or easier bc i would hate to spend so much time and effort on an episode, and once its finished people are just clamoring for the next one already!! which is sort of the bane of comic creating. i would prefer loosely connected one-shots as opposed to an ongoing storyline, because after finishing a one-shot im like “yeah!! people can enjoy this wholely and i can rest!!” vs. posting a 2-3 parter and after finishing one im like “damn i gotta do the next one soon so we all can sleep easier” and its a lil tiring LOL!!!!! ofc people rarely harass me for the next episode, but it does have a lil pressure when you leave a cliffhanger for over a month LMFAO!! 😭😭😭

this is actually really good timing because i saw nwh about a week ago so i've had time to marinate and reflect. first let me say i enjoyed the movie and had a lot of fun watching it <3! ok now im gonna tear it apart.

this movie is so insanely complicated. its embarrassing for the mcu to blatantly copy into the spiderverse and do it so BADLY? like i have always hated time travel and multiverse stuff because its confusing but when i watched itsv i was simply blown away by how succinctly they explained the multiverse. i think the greatest strength of itsv's plot is that it doesnt overexplain things. oh theres a machine that opens our dimension up to others and it got messed up? great cool! but nwh is like okay so there's this spell and its very dangerous but dr. strange does it anyways (?) and it gets messed up because peter. talked during it. but its fine because its contained inside a little box but not really because now villains from other dimensions are coming through but its okay because we can send them home but ONLY if peter finds them and brings them to the dungeon first BUT ned also has powers now (??) and he brings the other spidermen into this dimension which like idk why they didnt just come when the villains did but whatever but also peter feels bad now because theyre gonna die etc etc etc like just the basic conflict of the movie can only be reached once you get past all these explanations and circumstances and i hate that tbh!! i dont think a spiderman movie should be that fuckin complicated!! but that's a byproduct of where the mcu is now that they want to incorporate characters from their existing tv series and characters from other franchises. they Have to explain how a sony spiderman got into this movie so they Have to jump through hoops. it sucks! but anyways

im happy with the way they incorporated tobey and andrew. it was really well done. i was so worried it was just gonna be like....5 minutes of content and just a bunch of references without any substance but it wasn't and i'll give them that. i think letting andrew's peter kind of find closure from gwen's death was really nice and meaningful. also andrew is just so funny. and since im talking about andrew's peter and gwen anyways i might as well say something controversial. i dont............care about tom's peter and zendaya's mj. LET ME BE CLEAR i fucking love and adore zendaya and i think she's great. and tom's good too. but like every peter & mj moment in this movie just made me fucking bored like they speak to each other in such a fucking serious & heavy way the whole time. there's no levity or humor between them. andrew's peter and gwen had such a good established back and forth and i think what makes her death so jarring in tasm2 is that until that point, their relationship is so light and fun. tom's peter and mj don't ever seem to have any fun lmao they dont feel like 17 year olds in a happy relationship. im not saying theyre in an unhappy relationship, either, it's clear they love each other! but it's a drag to watch them interact because every interaction they have in this movie feels so heavy and serious and then when the ending happens and they have reason act in a way that's heavy and serious i didn't really feel anything because they're Always like that. and again it's not zendaya or tom's faults i think it's the mcu's writing and the way they're so hellbent on raising the stakes until tom's peter just lives an unbeliveably horrible life. i also didn't feel sad when may died idk maybe it's me!!

now let me nitpick a little. and let me also say that i was a tasm warrior when those movies came out okay. i LOVED tasm2 like i ADORED that movie and still do. and the haters always said noooo its confusing its not well written. and now they wanna come crawling back. yeah sure okay. anyways. they didn't respect the legacy of tasm2 in this movie :( electro didn't act like the electro we knew in tasm2. in that movie, even at the end when he's about to die and nwh picks up, he's just coming into his powers for the first time and he's insecure and his vendetta against spiderman is coming from a very personal place of hurt. in this movie he's just like...a cocky guy. they gave him mcu disease. not to mention the stupid little line where curt connors is like "last time i saw you, you were a little geek" UH how would curt connors have known him?? max was very clearly a nobody who no one at oscorp paid any attention to. so fuck that. also i know ive said this many times but the lack of Any mention of dane dehaan's harry osborn is just dumbbbbb like he was the main big bad of tasm2 and he was setting up the now defunct sinister six (rip) and he KILLED GWEN. the storyline that andrew's peter is still dealing with in this movie. and he never once mentions harry. thats just bizarre to me.

i cant rlly think of anything else these are all my big thoughts. i really don't know where the mcu can go from here. this movie is so messy and complicated and that's only going to increase as the web of marvel's properties continues to tangle. they refuse to step down from their "crossover of the century" mentality because they're banking more on big, midnight premiere crowd screaming type moments than the coherency of their individual movies. if they want to keep bringing in characters from their netflix shows, their disney+ shows, their franchises owned by sony etc etc they're going to end up just making it all into a huge mess that you're required to watch every single installment of to understand. and yknow i love that tom's spiderman has reached the reset point of being who the character actually is. i feel like that was the mcu's acknowledgment that they really fucked him up by making him iron man jr. who fights crime in space with giant robot spider arms. but it cant stay that way right?? because sooner or later the mcu's insistence on making everything bigger and better is going to drag tom's spiderman into space again and he's going to become a larger scale hero again. which is fine! but it will never be as good as tobey and andrew's peters

I’m absolutely obsessed with Owari No Seraph/Seraph of the End. It has everything I want in a story

okay this got long so I put a cut

A romance I’m actually invested in: 1) it’s gay, like not even ambiguously gay, like very explicitly gay and it’s remarkable 2) it’s somehow enemies to lovers, best friends to lovers, and childhood friends to lovers ALL AT THE SAME TIME 3) the mutual pining is ridiculous, but manifests in “I MUST PROTECT” 4) omg they’re so devoted to each other???? 5) heavily implied in the anime and manga that they are each other’s reason for living after their trauma

Ambiguous characters: 1) we’ve got not one, not two, BUT THREE HIGH RANKING CHARACTERS within their respective organizations with THEIR OWN AGENDAS, screw whoever gets in their way 2) one of the said lovers from above pairing? Technically, he’s officially on one side, but he makes it very clear he actually doesn’t care about anyone EXCEPT his love interest and actively goes behinds people’s backs all the time to get what he wants. He has exactly 0 trust except for his love interest, which means he’ll literally fight both sides to make sure love interest is safe 3) THE FREAKING QUEEN, at first she’s like in a terrible one sided relationship with one of the characters with like... uh what’s it called? Power imbalance? Like she is 100% in control of this other person because they are wholly dependent on her, and she knows it, and often calls this other person her pet, and like, you think you’re supposed to hate her because she’s one of the contributing factors to the other character’s trauma but then it’s like, wait, actually, maybe she ALSO has ulterior motives and is one of the few people said character can actually trust with their wellbeing and their own interests being the only one who actively helps them with it 4) HMMM THAT SUPER SHADY DEMON/HUMAN ROMANCE YOU KNOW THE ONE IM TALKING ABOUT

Characters that suffer: okay listen, all of the characters have suffered through trauma, but special shout-out to Mika who has gone through my favorite kind of trauma to watch that develops characters. Spoilers for the rest of this paragraph so if you want to check out the show skip over it. okay gone? for real? you okay with getting spoiled if you haven’t seen yet? alright. last chance. Okay so first thing we know about Mika is that he’s an orphan and has a found family with his orphanage group right? even when they’re all being held captive by vampires underground, he at least has his family. Mika goes above and beyond to make sure that despite that they’re essentially just acting as the vampires’ blood-stock that their time there isn’t as bad as it could be. He offers himself up to one of the nobles, saying the noble can suck his blood if he gives him things, so he gets stuff like actual real food for his family to eat. In the manga, you can see that this is really draining on him, but he does it to see his family happy. Mika also knows that his crush absolutely hates it there, so he plans an escape, except oops they all get ambushed by the very noble he stole from and was swindling, and literally everyone gets killed in front of him except his crush, well I guess at the time he was too young for crush, so I’ll just call him Yuu. Anyways. Mika and Yuu manage to knock out the vampire noble working together, but Mika is fatally wounded so only Yuu actually escapes. AND THEN MIKA IS FORCIBLY TURNED INTO A VAMPIRE BY THE QUEEN, like he hates vampires, he considers them monsters, he doesn’t want eternal life or whatever, AND SHE FREAKING TURNS HIM TO KEEP HIM FROM DYING (the way she does it too could be considered traumatizing as well) and then he proceeds to be raised by people he considers monsters and hates that he’s become a vampire, and like does everything in his power to not drink human blood (resorting to drinking the Queen’s blood, and she’s fine with it cuz it keeps him completely dependent on her) like MMMM THAT POWER IMBALANCE IN A WORLD FULL OF THE MONSTERS YOU HATE WHILE BECOMING ONE YOURSELF IS ALREADY DAMAGING ENOUGH, and then he finds out that the very adults he used to trust as a child, were actually just treating him and his found family as guinea pigs and lab rats and that the only people who actually cared about him was his found family, who are all gone except for Yuu who isn’t there, so yeah oops, he hates humans now too. Like mmmm that is some tasty juicy angst right there. It manifests in him never smiling anymore, never speaking, just sitting there stoically. Like this was the little boy who was happy smiles all the time, either when he was genuinely happy with his family or putting on an act to deceive and he’s just so broken after the timeskip that we never see him smile until late in season 2. OH LETS NOT FORGET THE WHOLE VAMPIRE THING RIGHT? Mika doesn’t want to drink blood, but his body compells him to. He refuses to at least drink human blood, which works for a while but by the time the second season rolls around, the queen’s blood just isn’t cutting it anymore and there are so many scenes where his instincts take over and he almost bites someone only to snap out of it last second and start sobbing because he believes he’s becoming a monster. AND THAT’S NOT EVEN ALL OF IT, JUST THE THINGS THAT I LIKED THE MOST TO WATCH

the side characters: While I do think they could use a little bit more development, but that’s probably because they’re not quite rubbing me just the right way like Mika is, so they pale by comparison BUT there are some things I enjoy 1) we’ve got a literal troll on the team. I’ve seen some people call her annoying, but omg I love seeing her troll the others. also she uses a scythe and it’s awesome 2) OMG THERE’S A SWEET BABI BOY ARCHER??? slight spoilers, but my favorite part was when he reveals that his demon decided to give him more powers because he treats his demon like a friend, and talks to it at night before going to bed, sometimes asking it what it’s favorite color is?? 3) okay okay okay, listen, I already like the character by himself, the sniper dude, he’s already great as he’s written. But then add the fact that not only does he look EXACTLY like Victor Nikiverov from Yuri on Ice, BUT HE HAS THE SAME FREAKING VOICE ACTOR TOO that just cracks me up 4) I love the one vampire side character who keeps trying to befriend Mika, and Mika just keeps stonewalling him 5) honestly the queen is really badass, and as much as I hated her at first, I actually enjoy every second she’s on screen 6) There’s a vampire called Crowley and idk what it is with him but he just gives me “Big Fun” vibes even though he’s one of the most ruthless characters in the show

plot and arcs: it doesn’t drag itself on and on and on, it actually completes goals and important benchmarks fairly quickly so we don’t need to keep waiting on things to happen. But at the same time, is so drawn out that you still can’t help but feel like it’s taking forever to get to where you want it to go and it’s great because it means you get so much story to enjoy. Also, the fact that the protagonists always have one clear goal at a time, but us as the viewers see other things happening behind the scenes, without always understanding what they are, and we’re stuck seeing this collision path where everything is gonna intersect and you know it’s going to be terrible and there characters are going to suffer but you love that.

anyways, Seraph of the end is super good, I loved it, the anime isn’t enough so I’m actually chasing after the Manga for once. Mika is officially one of my all-time favorite characters and he deserves to be happy. If you know what I’m talking about cheer with me, if you haven’t seen it yet, omgggggggggggggggggggg GO CHECK IT OUT IF ANY OF THE THINGS I SAID APPEAL TO YOU

oikawa tooru

Oikawa is always perceptive and observant even if he doesn’t show it, and he’s always looking out for his s/o

If you show the slightest symptoms of being in pain, he’ll be subtly watching over you for the rest of the day, like he’ll make some excuses to tag along with you everywhere

Oikawa isn’t a stranger to overworking himself and then having to hide the painful aftermath of it, so he’s recognising some of familiar behaviour from you

He’ll be asking if you’re feeling okay, if you’d like some water, if you need to sit down

His suspicion only grows if you keep denying him, brushing him off and saying you’re fine, but he won’t push it any further

At least that was the plan until he notices you kind of spacing out next to him, your lips paler than usual, small beads of sweat starting to form on your skin and your expression twisted into discomfort

He puts a hand on your shoulder and tries to get your attention, asking once again if you’re feeling okay

Whether you heard him or not, you find it hard to focus, dark spots dancing in your vision, nausea collecting in your throat, the ground feels like it’s spinning and a ringing in your ear gradually gets louder, tuning out Oikawa’s concerned voice

The last thing you vaguely remember is stumbling forward into your boyfriend’s grasp before passing out

When Oikawa feels your body slacken and you start to sway, his heart drops in his chest and he quickly moves in front of you to support your body

Despite his panic, he’s quick to perform the first aid he knows, carrying you to a shady, less crowded area

He lays you down on your back and puts his bag under your legs, wetting a towel with some water and dabbing it on your face and neck

All the while one of his hands is holding yours - partly to check for a pulse and partly because his own hand is shaking - and he’s calling out your name and asking if you can hear him

His fear doubles when he realises you’re not coming to as soon as he expected and Oikawa decides to take you to the nurse’s office, practically running there

He sits and tries not to fidget too much as the nurse runs proper examinations on you and he feels relief course through him when he sees that you’re finally awake and talking quietly to the nurse

After the nurse clears you and leaves the both of you alone, Oikawa pulls up a chair next to the bed and asks if you’re feeling better

He makes light conversation with you for a moment before quietly asking if you know why you had fainted

When you finally admit you’d been holding back some pain, Oikawa feels heart ache for you and he can’t help the slight guilt in his chest, wishing he’d intervened sooner

Still, he does his best to put up a cheery front for you, not wanting to stress you out even more

He makes you promise to tell him next time, no matter what he’s doing, he wants to know if you’re hurt or if you need help

After resting a little more in the nurse’s office and making sure you’ve completely recovered, Oikawa walks you home and insists on carrying your stuff and, if you let him, carry you on his back

At your house, he makes you sit down on the couch or on your bed while he goes to get you a drink and something to eat

For the rest of the day, he doesn’t let you lift a finger and will do anything for you and spoils you with all the cuddles and kisses you want to help you relax

miya atsumu

Atsumu isn’t always the most gentle with his words, but he still lets you know he cares in his own way

When he notices something off about you, he’ll kind of glance at you for a few moments, trying to figure out what’s wrong

When he ends up drawing a blank, he’ll straight up ask you what’s wrong

“Oi, what’s up with you today?”

He won’t take “it’s nothing, i’m fine” because he knows something’s wrong and he hates it when people bullshit him

So he’ll keep pressing you for an actual answer until he gets one

That is, until you suddenly pass out

His quick reflexes allow him to catch you before you hit the ground, but his mind temporarily short-circuits due to the shock

Atsumu starts calling out your name, lightly shaking you and trying to get you to wake up

When you don’t respond, he only gets more frantic and it takes Kita or someone nearby to instruct him to take you to the nurse’s office

Once he sets you down on the bed, he’s already asking the nurse all the questions

“What’s wrong with her? Will she be okay? Is she gonna wake up soon?”

The nurse has to give him a stern glare and shoo him out while she runs check ups on you

Atsumu, more than anything, is frustrated. That you didn’t tell him anything and that he doesn’t know how to help you right now

Still, he forces himself to sit and wait, a frown and a little pout on his face

When the nurse finally opens the door, he immediately shoots up from his seat and asks again if you’re okay and if he can see you

Relief replaces all his confusion when he sees you already awake and visibly better than before

He’s quick to move to your side and almost demands to know what happened, and you, cornered in the bed, have no other choice but to admit

Atsumu’s jaw tighten at your explanation and his mind is running a mile an hour, wondering why you didn’t just tell him instead of holding out your pain

He doesn’t voice out his thoughts, though, opting to reprimand you with a mumbled “you should have just told me”

Per the nurse’s orders, he lets you rest a bit, getting you something to drink, before he takes you home

All throughout the journey to your home, Atsumu keeps glancing at you warily in case you look like you’re in pain again

it’s not very subtle and you have to tell him to knock it off

Since he’s not the best with words (and honestly, he’s not sure what to say), Atsumu’s priority becomes your comfort

Once the both of you arrive, he gives you some space to clean yourself up while he texts Osamu if he can make some good food and drop it by your house

Osamu grumbles a lot but you receive a surprise delivery from him later, with a warning that it’s for you only and not to let ‘his idiot brother’ have any

You and Atsumu settle in on your bed next to each other and enjoy the food together while binge-watching your favourite show or just talking with each other

After you’re finished eating, Atsumu helps clear away the dishes and proceeds to snuggle under the covers with you

The both of you continue to talk, Atsumu’s arm around your shoulder as you rest your head on his chest and his fingers absent-mindedly drawing patterns on your side

Eventually, you doze off and that’s when Atsumu allows himself to truly look at you and think about how scared he was earlier

Atsumu softly kisses the top of your head and whispers an ‘i love you’ to your sleeping form, silently vowing to himself that he’ll be a more attentive and better boyfriend for you

miya osamu

Osamu is more laid back and chill, but that doesn’t mean he’s a bad boyfriend - he’s just usually more lowkey compared to Oikawa or Atsumu

Thought it doesn’t escape his attention when you meet up with him looking a little out of it

He asks “you good?” once and drops it when you tell him you’re fine, but will continuously give you suspicious looks at the telltale signs of discomfort

He’ll be subtly trying to help you as well, by suggesting less strenuous activities or saying he wants to get a drink and you should get one too

Once he notices your condition worsening, he’ll make you sit down and ask if you need to go to the nurse’s office (though, he’ll probably take you either way)

It takes him by surprise when you actually pass out. His eyes widen and he’s tense, but he immediately tries to wake you up by lightly tapping on your face while calling out your name

When he sees you not even stirring, he quickly decides to take you to the nurse’s office instead, ignoring all the curious stares as he walks briskly with you in his arms

He stands to the side and he watches the nurse perform the first aid, praying that you’ll come to soon

Not long after, he sees your eyelids flutter open groggily and your form shuffling a little on the bed, and Osamu releases a breath he didn’t know he’d been holding in

He slowly approaches you and doesn’t say anything to you at first, offering you a small comforting smile

If you try to apologise, he’ll shush you mid-sentence and roll his eyes, telling you there’s nothing to apologise for when you’re the one lying on the bed right now

But he’ll appreciate it if you tell him what exactly happened, all the while he’s gently holding your hand with his thumb tracing circles on it and he looks at you intently as you explain your situation

Osamu feels his heart twinge when he finds out you’ve been trying to hide your pain until you literally pass out and he’ll simply ask you not to do that in the future and that he can help you in whatever way you need, so please don’t hesitate to go to him for anything

After gathering your things, Osamu takes you home and insists on giving you a piggyback ride, partly to cheer you up and partly so you don’t tire yourself out further

When you both arrive, he immediately goes to the kitchen to cook something warm for you so you can regain your strength

He makes you sit on the table while he cooks your favourite dish so you both can continue talking and so he can keep a close eye on you

You easily fall back to your usual casual conversations, which pleases Osamu and dissipates his worries

Later, you both enjoy the delicious meal he prepared and afterwards, Osamu lets you choose whatever you want to do, preferably something fun to get both your minds off the previous incident

Osamu is satisfied as long as you’re happy and healthy, and he makes sure to tell you so as you’re both cuddling under the blankets and dozing off after a long day

Jungwoo is your boyfriend for almost three years and you couldn`t ask for more than his love and affection. You`re always happy when you`re with him you love the way his eyes lit up whenever he sees you.

Your favorite thing to do with him is cuddling or either cooking. Jungwoo loves skinship so much like holding your hands every time or back hugging you. You always love it when he`s clingy but sometimes you feel like you`re being unfair to him because he always asks for your consent when he wants to do something that can make you uncomfortable even though he`s been dating you for years now.

You feel sad or sometimes guilty when you can`t give him what he needs as a man. Which leaves him sexually frustrated but that doesn`t stop him from loving you dearly. Jungwoo knows that you`re still not ready and he respects that. He`s ready to wait until you`re ready.

"Y/n, are you okay?" You look at your side to see Joy talking to you.

"Yeah, why?" You asked her before grabbing a glass full of water.

"You Kinda look down today, to be honest." Joy looks at you with worried eyes, She looks at what you`re staring and now she knows why.

"You`re fidgeting your fingers again Y/n. There`s no need to be jealous, you know that Jungwoo loves you and only you." Joy said reassuringly.

"We both know how much I don`t like Seohyun right? like she`s always getting on my nerves. Also, don`t forget what she did to us in High School." Yeah, you and a few of the boys know that Seohyun is a bully back in High school and Jungwoo doesn`t know that.

"I know, I know now calm down we should leave and go somewhere else before anything happens" You and the other girls leave Taeyong's house before going to the mall.

Meanwhile, in the other room, someone is complaining.

"Shut up Jung Jaehyun!" And he did stay quiet.

"Okay, now I have an idea mayjun to make you sleep" Jaehyun peppered Mayjun with kisses.

"Oh, shut up your horny ass jaehyun!" and mayjun throws the pillow at him.

"C`mon Kim Jungwoo! I swear shut the fuck up!" Jaehyun yelled so that you and Jungwoo can hear them.

You and Jungwoo laugh at them and you clean yourself and change with new clothes.

"I`m sorry! you can now sleep peacefully!" You yelled back at them making Jungwoo laugh and nod his head a little.

"Thank you, babe, or else my boyfriend won`t stop bothering me" Mayjun yelled making the four of you laugh.

"Let`s sleep now baby you must be tired because of daddy" Jungwoo said with a smirk.

"Stop with the dirty jokes Kim Jungwoo" you slap his arms playfully.

"Okay, okay good night I love you" He said with sweetness in his voice.

"I love you too baby only you" and you kiss him on the lips.
