Ahh I’m so obsessed with stripper!reader and Spencer!! Do you have any more thoughts about them you’d be willing to share, maybe just a snippet of their life together? So so in love with them and your writing in general
i got a different request for them that I lost about reader struggling to afford essentials and so I thought I’d combine them, I hope that’s ok!! <;3 fem, 1.1k
cw food insecurity/ poverty
You attempt to save money, but the ten dollars you don't spend on shampoo and conditioner gets used on painkillers. You hide fifty dollars in a book and try to forget about it, but your shoes split open on the walk to work, and it takes all afternoon to find it again. You try so hard to stretch your paycheck and something new makes it impossible.
So it's a cold night in late December and you spent all your money for food on the gas bill. Your stomach hurts, but at least your nose isn't that horrible stiff cold that distracts.
It's not just that your stomach hurts, though. You feel miserable about everything, and you know you need to ask someone for help. You've thought about selling something, but you already pawned your watch, and everything else is inconsequential.
I could sell my phone… but how would I talk to Spencer?
It's the stupidest thought you could've had. More importantly, how would you communicate with work? How would you call your electric and gas company, or talk to your landlord?
Spencer would be so sad if he knew you’d sold your phone to pay for food. He’d probably be upset knowing you considered it. And you won’t get paid for another three days, so unless you can somehow live off of olives and cherries from the club bar, you have to ask Spencer for money or get a loan. With your credit score, one situation is more likely than the other.
You bring your phone across the pillow and sigh before clicking on his contact. He’s practically the only number you call.
“Hello?” you ask.
“Hi, Y/N.”
“Hello, handsome,” you murmur, staging an affect of someone who couldn’t be more unbothered by the world.
“Yeah, hi. You okay?”
You don’t want to butter him up. It feels dishonest. You should be straight forward. “Spencer. You know I hate asking you for things.”
“Yes, it’s the only bad thing about you.” He sounds like he’s smiling. You can imagine him on his couch reading something obscure, or watching one of his sci-fi shows, curls in his eyes, grey pyjamas too short for him riding up his calves as they tend to do.
“But I need– um. I don’t have any money?” You don’t mean to phrase it like a question. “Like. Okay, so, I promise you I am not an irresponsible person, just, my gas bill went up and I didn’t know, but it’s so cold I paid it anyways, and now I have three dollars. Um. Total. And I haven’t eaten all day and I’m sorry I’m asking, but I just need like twenty dollars until I get paid on Tuesday. Could you let me borrow twenty dollars, please?”
“Do you want to get takeout?”
You cringe. “No, like, twenty dollars for groceries, Spence.”
“No, I understood. That’s fine, I’ll happily give you twenty dollars. But you said you haven’t eaten today? And I miss you, so it’s an excuse?” Now he’s the one making questions out of statements. “I can get us Thai food.”
Your stomach pangs at the thought. No matter how much you hate this, you know he loves you enough to want to bring you dinner, and you really will pay him back, so he might as well. “Yeah, please. I’d love to see you, Dr. Reid.”
“I’ll be quick,” he promises.
He isn’t. You wonder if he’s forgotten you and your rumbling stomach, curled into a c-shape under the sheets. It’s warm, at least, nearly too warm, the blade of your hunger threatening to drive you mad. It’s not a nice feeling, depending on the kindness of a friend to see you through, nor is it very pleasant to be this hungry. You’ve gone hungry a hundred times, and this is the only time you’ve ever had someone you trusted enough to turn to during that time to ask for help. What if Spencer’s decided he isn’t comfortable with your lending after all and he doesn’t come over tonight?
You’d been looking forward to seeing him again. It’s almost worse than the hunger.
Just as you’re thinking he’s decided he doesn’t want to be your friend anymore, he lets himself in.
Your apartment is small, consisting of three rooms. The bedroom, the bathroom, and the living room kitchen combination. He lets himself into the living room with a cacophony of rustling and a called, “Hello!” followed soon by a muttered swear.
You laugh under your breath.
“Are you coming out here, or do you want to eat dinner in bed?” he asks.
“I haven’t decided yet.”
It’s quiet enough besides his arrival that you’ve no need to shout.
“Well, stay there if you want. Have you been drinking anything? I brought iced tea and some stuff for you to have breakfast tomorrow.”
“Thank you.” You force yourself to sit up. One moment you’re looking at the closed door and the next you’re squinting against the light of the kitchen, Spencer in the doorway like a silhouette against it. “Hey, Spence. You’re taller than last time.”
“I’m the same size as always.”
“You’re still wearing your shoes. That must be it.”
Spencer takes off his shoes and crosses the short distance to you. “Hi,” he says, taking your hand as he sits down. His fingers are freezing. “Sorry I took a while.”
“Sorry for asking you for money.”
“It’s okay. It’s not something to worry about. Everyone has to ask a favour sometime.”
His hair is wind blown, his eyes watery. The cold weather has nipped his pert nose a rosy pink and he’s smiling at you with chapped lips, unaware of or uncaring about his own circumstances in the face of yours. “You okay?” he asks, his pretty brown eyes narrowing, eyebrows pinching together at the starts. “You can’t just not eat all day and not tell me.”
You nod tightly. It’s humiliating to be in this position.
He softens. “Did they tell you the rate was rising? It’s illegal in Virginia–”
You take your hand from his. “They sent me a letter I didn’t open. I knew it would be bad news.”
Spencer looks down at your knees. “I know that you’re used to doing things by yourself, but you don’t have to anymore.”
“‘Cos you look after me,” you say quietly.
“I’m trying to.”
You laugh and jog your joined hands to make him look up. “Okay. Look after me some more then and give me a hug. I’m too warm, and you’re freezing.”
He hugs you tightly, quick to rub your shoulder blade with his thumb. “Stay here, okay? I’ll bring you a plate.”
You cling to him for a few seconds, until hunger wins, and you send him off into the kitchen again.

don't you forget about me (part seven)
(part one)(part two)(part three)(part four)(part five)(part six)
Eddie takes back everything he’d thought before; sex dreams are so much worse actually, especially when you wake up to the subject of them holding your hand. His face turns bright red the second his eyes open and land on Steve. He sits upright immediately, bunching up the blankets over his lap.
The pounding of his heart - aka the rapid beeping of the heart monitor - alerts Steve who snaps awake instantly and tightens his grip on Eddie’s hand as he asks with urgent concern, “Are you alright? Did you have another nightmare?”
“No, no, definitely not a nightmare.” Eddie’s cheeks burn, feels the flush reach his ears and down his neck too. He clears his throat. “Just, uh- just a weird dream, that’s all. Not bad, just…weird, yeah. I’m fine.”
Steve relaxes. “Okay.” He hesitates, then adds hopefully, “Was it, uh- Do you think it was a memory?”
Eddie shakes his head. “Definitely not.”
“What makes you so sure?” Steve asks.
“It was fantasy.” Eddie’s eyes rake over Steve, and he tries not to wonder just how accurate his dream was.
Steve raises a skeptical eyebrow. “Fantasy?”
“Yeah, fantasy. So unless you have some truly awesome news to give me about the existence of dragons,” Eddie lies (better to have Steve think he’d dreamt of riding on a dragon rather than that he’d dreamt of Steve riding him), “I’m pretty sure it was just a regular old dream.”
“Oh.” Steve's face falls; and Eddie almost wants to take it all back and tell a different lie, that it had been a memory, but he doesn't. “Yeah, no, I've yet to run into any dragons yet, I’m sorry.”
“No, I’m sorry,” Eddie says, running his thumb over Steve's hand. “I wish it was a memory. I mean- I wish I had more memories, and I'm sorry that I don't. I'm sorry that makes you so sad.”
The apology only makes Steve look sadder. “Oh, Eddie, no, it's okay.” He shakes his head, squeezes Eddie's hand. “Don't apologize for that. It's not like you chose to forget.”
“I know. I’m still sorry though,” Eddie responds quietly. His dream-sparked lust has since curbed into something softer, inevitably. He looks into those downturned and devastating brown puppy dog eyes. “I didn't choose to forget, but I’m still the reason you're sad - I know that, so I'm sorry.”
It's Steve this time who mutters “You don't have to worry about me so much, Eds, I'm alright,” and it's Steve this time who clasps Eddie’s hand in both of his and brushes a kiss over his knuckles.
It sends a rush through Eddie's whole body to feel Steve's lips against his skin - in real life, that is. Heat rises in his cheeks again, heart rate kicking up for the millionth time. “Uh- yeah, uh, o-okay,” he stutters, can’t seem to form a coherent thought or sentence right now. He pulls his hand away and runs his fingers through his hair instead, changing the subject, “Um. Are you, uh- are you sticking around today?”
“Yeah.” Though there’s still a trace of sadness behind his eyes, there’s something like flirtation there too as Steve smirks and says, “I’m all yours today.”
God. Eddie really is done for, isn’t he.
It’s no wonder, then, that after spending another full day with Steve, another full day of being subjected to Steve’s bittersweet smiles and friendly banter and (that is, if Eddie’s not just being delusional, which is a very real and probable possibility) the occasional flirty comment, Eddie’s dreams soon turn sappy again:
They were sitting in some restaurant, in a corner booth, holding hands behind a propped up menu. Steve was looking gorgeous in a tastefully tight polo and perfectly styled hair streaked with gold, and he looked at Eddie with that warm little smile that always made his heart glow. It overflowed; Eddie almost couldn't take it.
He said, “I know you said you wanted to do things right, so after how many dates can I ask you to be my boyfriend?”
Steve's smile grew, eyes wide with a sort of wonder and disbelief and anticipation that was vaguely reminiscent of a child on christmas morning. “I, uh- I think the third date is just fine.”
“Okay, good.” Eddie grinned. He caught Steve's other hand and held it right there out in the open without a care who saw or heard. “Because I like you so so much; you’re the best person I know, Stevie, and I wanna lock this down before someone else comes along and snatches you up. I want to be your boyfriend more than anything, and I want you to be mine, if you want that too. So, what do you say?”
Steve must not’ve cared who saw or heard either because he immediately lunged across the table to kiss him, holding Eddie's hands tight as he pressed their lips together fervently.
Eddie certainly wasn't about to complain. He indulged the kiss for a good long few moments before he pulled back to double check, “So that was a yes, right?”
“Yeah, dumbass,” Steve laughed, fond and bright and beautiful. “That was absolutely a yes.”
That ache is back when Eddie wakes up, the wanting, the wishing.
He thinks this dream falls somewhere in between the events of the last two, like his brain is turning this fantasy into a whole connected narrative now, building and fleshing out this wishful story of him and Steve. Unless… No. Eddie can't let himself think like that. If these dreams have been memories, if that had really been the type of relationship they'd had, surely Steve would've said something. It's not unusual for Eddie's daydreams to become so involved and become entire worlds. This is, as he tells himself for the third time now, just another case of his overactive imagination.
Steve doesn't ask about his dreams again, and he soon leaves for work and isn't around much that day, but that still doesn't stop Eddie's mind from continuing the fiction when he falls asleep holding Steve's hand, as always now, that night:
Eddie sat on Steve's couch, his arm slung casually around Steve's shoulders as Steve leaned against him and idly played with the rings on Eddie's other hand while a movie played on the TV in front of them. It was Steve's turn to pick the movie, and there was a time when Eddie would've rolled his eyes and scoffed at the suggestion of watching The Breakfast Club, but it had just come out on VHS and Steve was so excited about it and Eddie was more than happy now to sit just there and watch Steve watch it. Because Steve was smiling and humming along to the songs on the soundtrack, and Eddie felt, suddenly, with such simple certainty that this is where he was meant to be, that this is who he was going to spend the rest of his life with.
Something must've changed in his expression, in his stare, because Steve soon rolled his head to the side to look at Eddie and asked with an amused (and vaguely confused) smile, “What?”
“Nothing, I just-” Eddie shook his head, pressed a kiss to Steve's temple and then said like it was the easiest thing in the world, “I think I've fallen in love with you.”
Steve laughed as if this great big relief just bubbled free from his chest. “Oh thank god,” he said. “I’m in love with you too.”
Eddie believed him, knew it with the same certainty as before. They shared gentle smiles and a sweet, chaste kiss. Steve slipped an arm around Eddie's waist and curled closer against his side. He went right back to watching the movie and Eddie went right back to watching Steve. And that was all there was to it.
Clear, effortless, uncomplicated. Because how could they be anything else but in love with each other?
Eddie sighs when he blinks awake. His eyes slowly shift to the side and he looks at Steve strangely for a few silent moments.
Steve asks, “What?”
Eddie's cheeks tinge pink, and Steve wonders, not for the first time, what Eddie had been dreaming about. He gets a devastating sense of deja vu when Eddie shakes his head and says, “Nothing.” But it stops there where Steve's memory doesn't.
Although, Eddie is still considering him in that weird, just short of familiar way, and Steve wonders - again, not for the first time - if maybe Eddie just might remember too. But surely he'd say something if he did.
Eddie taps his fingers against Steve's hand and asks after a long minute. “Are you gonna be around tomorrow?”
“I can be.” Steve is scheduled to work tomorrow, but he'd call out sick in an instant if Eddie asked him to.
“Okay, because, uh, that's when the doctor’s gonna have me try to walk and when they're gonna teach me and Wayne how to take care of my wounds at home for when I’m discharged, and I, um, I want you to be there for that too,” Eddie says.
Steve finds himself a little surprised by this. “You really want me there?”
“Yeah, I mean, If you don't mind,” Eddie starts, rambling like he's suddenly scared Steve might refuse, “I know it's not the most fun thing to be here for, but I just figured whatever the doctor tells us tomorrow you should know too, just in case, you know, like I might need you one day and Wayne can't be around all the time and-”
“I’ll be there, Eddie,” Steve assures him, squeezing his hand. “Of course I’ll be there.”
And so he is. He calls out of work the next day, much to Keith’s annoyance, and stands there as the room fills with doctors and nurses and Eddie's uncle Wayne.
Eddie's mobility is tested first. He makes a soft grunt of pain as he's instructed to swing his legs over the side of the bed, and then another when the doctor taps his knee and his injured leg kicks with the assessment of his reflexes. Satisfied with that response, the doctor moves on to pressing various pressure points on Eddie’s leg to measure how much he can feel (and Steve tries very hard not to feel so weirdly irrationally jealous at watching the doctor feel up Eddie's leg). After a few more soft painful hisses that let the doctor know Eddie's nerve endings are intact - or whatever it was she was testing - he's told to try and stand. He's understandably apprehensive, hesitant. The doctor and his uncle help coax him off the bed; the competent and the familiar. Steve hangs back still, sure he's not needed for this.
But the second Eddie attempts to put pressure on his injured limb and he stumbles, his hand shoots out and it's Steve’s name he calls, as if on instinct. And, on instinct, Steve is there in a second to grab his hand and assist in steadying him. “I've got you,” he murmurs, guiding Eddie to the walker that's been set out for him. Eddie limps a few more feet with the help of the walker and the encouragement of Steve’s (hopefully) comforting hand on his shoulder until the doctor calls it and tells Eddie he can rest again.
Once Eddie makes it back onto the bed, collapsing back into the pillows with a haggard sigh, the doctor and nurses immediately crowd him again, try to go straight into the next step of redressing his wounds.
“Give him a second,” Steve snaps, protectively holding onto Eddie's hand and leaning over him. “Can't you see he's exhausted?”
The doctor shoots the only other proper adult in the room a weary look.
“They know what they're doing, kid.” Wayne's heavy hand lands on Steve's shoulder, both a reassurance and an alert for him to back off.
“I’m okay, Stevie,” Eddie adds. He gives Steve a tired smile and squeezes his hand before prying it out of Steve's hold. “It's alright.”
Steve reluctantly relents and steps back to give the medical professionals space to continue.
Eddie's shirt is pushed up so the bandages on his chest and stomach are accessible as the nurses begin to explain and demonstrate the process of taking care of the injuries. Steve watches, listens intently, wants to absorb every ounce of information so he can best tend to Eddie if need be. Then his eyes flick up and he accidentally makes dead eye contact with Eddie who seems to realize then just how vulnerable and exposed he is right now because his cheeks burn red and his heart rate suddenly increases.
The nurses don't seem to be too worried about this - if anything, they exchange knowing glances with everyone else in the room except Eddie and Steve before they continue their demonstration. Steve isn't worried either anymore - if anything, he finally resigns himself fully to the fact, the irrefutable proof, that Robin was right and Eddie really does have a schoolboy crush on him again.
Steve does his best to keep paying attention, but in the background his mind is spinning and his heart aching.
On the one hand it’s kind of sweet to know Eddie's feelings are not gone completely, that some level of attraction still swirls to the surface even through the empty space in his memory. And Steve has been indulging that crush the past couple days, little comments of flirtation just to feel like he still has Eddie in some way, just to see the reaction and have some evidence that Eddie still feels something at all for him. (Stupid, selfish.)
But on the other hand it is just a crush. Eddie used to love him, but now that's halved; and that's a very specific kind of agony.
Steve’s not sure how much longer he can handle this.
~
Something passed between them when they made eye contact; something sweet and sad flitted across Steve's expression, as it often does, but he looked away when Eddie blushed and has been avoiding his eyes again since.
When the nurses are done showing them how to wrap him up, Steve retreats, saying kindly, though still not quite looking at him, “I'm gonna go get you some water, alright?”
“Oh, yeah, thanks.” Eddie smiles gratefully after him.
“Your boyfriend seems sweet,” Nurse Katie comments, carefully, as she secures the last of the fresh bandages.
“Excuse me?” Eddie coughs, chokes on his own spit, spluttering, “I’m- he's not- we’re- it’s- um. He’s not my boyfriend.”
“Oh, sorry,” the nurse is quick to apologize. “I didn't mean to assume, I just thought since he's always in here holding your hand, even before you woke up-”
“We're friends,” Eddie says shortly. He feels a little dizzy at what she's suggesting and would really rather her stop talking.
“Alright, my mistake.” Katie backs off the subject.
Steve returns then anyways, further killing that topic of conversation. He hands a cup of water to Eddie, who takes it with another muttered “thanks” and starts gulping it down while the doctor goes off on some spiel about the process of having him discharged and more tests they’ll have to do tomorrow. Eddie’s not paying attention. He’s too tired.
Not long after that, the doctor and nurses file out of the room, and Wayne stands to leave too. “I’m glad the two of you are getting close again,” he mentions to Steve and Eddie on his way out. “You were good for each other.”
Whatever that means.
Eddie doesn’t have the brainpower left to contemplate that. Being poked and prodded and trying to walk took a lot out of him. He’s exhausted, achy all over. It’s barely even late enough to be dinner time yet, but he could honestly just pass out right now. He sets his finished water cup on the bedside table and his now free hand reaches, once again, for Steve.
“Tired?” Steve asks as he catches Eddie’s hand.
“Mhmm.” Eddie settles against his pillows, closing his eyes. He adds in a sleepy mumble, “’M glad you were here today.”
“Me too.”
He feels Steve’s lips slide gently across the back of his hand, and then Eddie slides gently into sleep.
Immediately, though, his dreams are not gentle; for the first time since he’s been falling asleep with Steve’s hand in his, Eddie dreams of the bats:
Eddie was in that hell dimension, the scene all black and red and dotted with bats. But he wasn’t alone. Nancy Wheeler and Robin Buckley were there too, the three of them fending off the creatures with boat oars, and Steve- Steve was on the ground; two bats gnawed on his sides, another had its tail wrapped around his neck. Eddie’s heart was in his throat, roaring in his ears and pumping pure fear and adrenaline through his veins. He couldn’t save him; all he could do was try his best to keep more bats from joining in on the feast.
Steve, however, seemed perfectly capable of saving himself. He managed to sink his teeth into the bat tail around his neck, getting it to let go. Eddie couldn’t see everything, too busy whacking away more incoming bats, but when the last of this fleet of creatures was fought off, Eddie turned back around to find Steve on his feet now, holding a bat by the tail and slamming it against the ground far more times than necessary. He watched as Steve stomped down on the bat’s neck and tore its head from its body. Blood from the bat’s tail hung from Steve’s lips in a thick, dark drip before he spat it into the dirt.
Eddie stared, jaw dropped, pounding heart pumping an entirely different sensation through his veins now. “That was the hottest thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life.”
Steve gave him a bloodstained grin and Eddie’s knees felt weak. He would’ve dropped to the ground in front of him right then and there if-
“Keep it in your pants, Munson.” Robin shoulder-checked him as she walked past. “At least until we get the hell out of hell.”
Eddie settled instead for sidling up to Steve and, after taking a second to make sure he was alright, whispering low and close to Steve’s ear, “If we were anywhere else and you weren’t injured right now…” The muttered end of that sentence was something so filthy it made Steve’s face burn red, and he laughed.
“Freak,” Steve said affectionately as he smacked a kiss to Eddie’s cheek.
Eddie was quick to turn his head and catch Steve’s lips, locking them together in something searing and intense.
“Boys!” Nancy snapped impatiently from a few feet ahead, which startled them apart. “Seriously? Time and place, come on.”
Both Eddie and Steve laughed as they followed after the girls.
Eddie wakes up a little bit disoriented from that dream. He doesn’t know what to call it: Was it a nightmare or not? Was it a memory or another fantasy? The lines are blurred and Eddie finds himself confused.
Steve must’ve seen this on his face because he asks, “Everything alright?”
“Yeah…” Eddie answers slowly. “I had a dream about the Upside Down…but it wasn’t quite a nightmare, I don’t think. I’m just- I’m not sure if it was a memory or not.” He hesitates, then decides screw it, he might as well try to get some sort of clarification on the reality of some details of his dream. “Did you…rip a bat in half with your bare hands?”
“I did, yeah,” Steve confirms. His expression shifts, sparking with something like hope.
“And, uh, did I tell you that was the hottest thing I’d ever seen?”
“You did, yeah.”
“Okay, cool,” Eddie says, reeling. “Just checking.”
Steve is watching him almost expectantly, but when Eddie doesn’t say anything more on the subject, his face falls into something more like disappointment.

Toxic ❣️🥀
Felix x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
Warnings: SMUT, Jealous, Oral, Fingering
—————————————————— ✨
As tough as you may act, you weren’t exactly the most confident. You’ve had boys reject you and an ex cheat on you. You were sure that your current boyfriend wouldn’t cheat or leave but at the same time, you worried. What if he found someone prettier? Someone better?
Your boyfriend is cute and it’s no wonder that other girls would like him. You tried to not let it get to you…
It was something small. Perhaps not even a big deal but I bugged you.
You had gone with Felix to get his hair cut. It was a mundane every other monthly occurrence, but today was different. Today it was a woman cutting his hair. Normally it wouldn’t bother you but this was different. She was definitely being flirty.
As she cut his hair, she would do little things like rub his back and shoulders. She would laugh a little too much at his jokes and openly called him cute! You’d be glaring at her from the waiting area but it seemed that she didn’t care. Felix was just as nice to her. Yeah it’s his personality to be friendly but what if… what if he liked her?
She’s small and cutesy. She’s pretty and giggly. You felt she was everything you weren’t. You felt like she’s a solid 9/10 while in this moment you’re a 2. Of course he’d like her more!
You were snapped out of your thoughts when Felix suddenly appeared in front of you. He startled you actually.
“Sorry noona.” Felix laughed nervously. “Do you like my hair? It’s a little shorter than I wanted but it’s okay right?”
“Looks great, baby.” You said with a smile while standing. “Let’s go home so I can make dinner.”
Felix nodded and went back to pay at the counter. As the woman who cut his hair rung him up, you noticed that she slipped him a piece of paper. This annoyed you and you followed your boyfriend to the car.
The ride was silent. You said nothing and while driving, Felix could sense something was off. He just wasn’t sure if you wanted to talk about it. It wasn’t until you were parked that you broke the silence.
“Baby…” you spoke up quietly. “What did she give you when we left…?”
Your boyfriend turned off the car before looking at you a bit worried. He reached into his pocket and handed it to you. Exactly as you thought, it was her number.
“I guess she gave me her number.” He chuckled awkwardly.
You weren’t sure what to say, only ripping the small paper in pieces before shoving them in your pocket and getting out of the car, slamming the door behind you.
“Noona?” Felix got out and followed after you as you stomped inside to the bedroom. “What’s wrong?”
“I didn’t like her talking to you like that…”
“Noona—” He sighed.
“And you let her!”
“It’s not like that…” Felix frowned, confused by your sudden outburst.
“I know, I know!” You groaned while rubbing your forehead, realizing how toxic you sounded. It’s just—… I don’t—… you’re my baby boy! Not hers!”
“Of course I’m yours.” Felix said with a smile as you were hugging yourself. “I wouldn’t want it any other way.”
You felt like shit. Sitting on the edge of the bed and continued hugging yourself uncomfortably, unable to believe how toxic you sounded.
Felix pouted and got on his knees in front of you, putting his arms on your lap and looking at you with those adorable eyes. “Don’t be sad.”
Smiling a bit, you brushed your fingers through his hair. As innocent as he looked, you could feel his hand feeling up your thigh. He didn’t even break eye contact as he rubbed your inner thighs, ever so light brushing over your clothed crotch.
“Y-You want something, baby?” You voice broke as he palmed over the area.
“Mmhm.” He nodded. “I wanna show noona how much I love her.”
The more he touched your clothed area, the more wet and uncomfortable your underwear was getting. Normally, you were the one giving and taking care of him, so this was a little different.
After giving him the okay, Felix got right to removing your pants and leaning in to kiss you over your cute pink panties. You leaned back a little, leaning on your arms while holding back some whimpers.
“You think I’d ever leave you?” He giggled while slipping your underwear off and rubbing his fingers along your folds. “I would never…”
You covered your mouth to hold back the moans as he rubbed at your sensitive clit. Your boyfriend moved your legs on his shoulders, having you lay back on your elbows.
He didn’t give you much time to adjust before kissing your sensitive cunt. You threw your head back and let out your suppressed moans.
“I’d never leave you, noona—” he said briefly before going back to eating you out.
“Fuck—! Agh—! F—fu—” There was no volume control. Felix knew just how sensitive your cunt was, this had your eyes rolled back and back arched.
“Oh wow noona…” He added, his mouth still pressed against your cunt. “What filthy sounds you make.”
With your eyes shut, breathy moans escaped your lips as you bucked your hips slightly, only for Felix to grip them tight.
Your boyfriend replaced his mouth by inserting two fingers, making you cry out as he kissed along your hips and waist.
“B-baby~” you moaned while laying on your back. “A-agh! L-Lixie—”
“Hm? What’s wrong?” Felix smirked as thrusted his fingers slowly in and out. He went deep to hear your whimpers. He then lifted your shirt to kiss your stomach.
You couldn’t really think straight as you were lost in pleasure and pushed your bra up for him. He wasted no time in kissing and nipping at your soft skin. It drove you nuts and it was clear that you were close to releasing.
“Cum on my fingers, noona.”
You came as he curled his fingers and hit the spot one more time. You practically went cross eyed as you panted, trying to catch your breath.
Felix was pretty satisfied and put his fingers in your mouth. “Clean my fingers, noona.”
Almost mindlessly, you sucked your essence off of them. He pet your hair and sighed.
“I would never leave you, y/n.”

Everything is the same. Nothing has changed. Everything has changed. Nothing is the same.
You’ve been staring at the outside of the building for fifteen minutes.
It looks so different that you had to check the street sign, ensuring you are where you thought you were.
The Bear.
It was The Beef, the last time you were here. Stood in this very spot, tears dripping down your face, you bid farewell to the life you once knew.
Now you’re back.
It looks slick, professional, high end. It’s all polished glass and sharp edges, a drastic contrast from what once stood here.
You wonder what Michael would think.
The thought sends a pang of sadness through your heart, which you shake off as quickly as possible. Today should be a happy day, you remind yourself. Emphasis on should.
You take a deep breath and try the door of the restaurant, surprised when you find it unlocked. Walking inside, you have to stop and take in what’s in front of you.
No more sticky floors or peeling paint or arcade machines. No more flickering lights or red pleather booths or plastic cutlery.
The restaurant you’re currently stood in is slick, spotlessly clean, perfectly laid out. It’s like something out of a magazine. You’re in shock, bewildered by the transformation.
“Holy shit.”
The kitchen door has swung open, and across from you stands Richie Jerimovich.
“Am I hallucinating, or what?”
You laugh, and before you know it, he’s striding towards you, throwing his arms out for you to jump into. He wraps you in a bear hug, spinning you in circles like when you were a kid. You’re dizzy when he puts you down, his hand grabbing your shoulder to steady you on your feet.
“You hallucinate often these days, old man?”
“Old man,” he scoffs. “Yeah fuckin’ right. Do I look old to you?”
“You want me to answer that?”
He shoves you playfully, shaking his head.
“Thought I was seeing ghosts when I saw you stood in here.”
“If anyone’s hallucinating, it’s me. How… how did you do this? It’s like a whole new restaurant, Cousin.”
“Pretty cool, huh?”
“Really cool. I think I stood and stared at the sign outside for like twenty minutes. Seriously.”
He throws an arm around your shoulders, pulling you in.
“He’d have liked it, right?”
You can hear the slight waver in his voice, well disguised insecurity peeking through.
“He’d have fucking loved it, Richie.”
He presses a kiss into your hair, bumping your hip with his affectionately.
“So what, you’re like, a big boss here now?”
“I’m in charge of front of house, actually. I’ve been professionally trained and shit. Oh, guess what?”
“What?”
“I wear suits now. Every night.”
“You’re kidding. Bet you wear them well, too,” you tease, laughing when he kicks your foot with his. “You always scrubbed up well.”
“You gotta see it for yourself. We’ll make you up a table tonight, get you to try everything.”
“Oh, no, it’s okay. I’m not gonna put you guys out like that.”
“Vi, you’re not putting us out. And you and I both know Carmen isn’t going to take no for an answer.”
Your heart skips a beat at the very mention of his name.
“I just don’t want to be an inconvenience.”
“Babe,” he practically whines, pulling you into him, “you are never an inconvenience. For any of us.”
“Okay, okay,” you relent, resting your head on his arm. “I can’t wait.”
Richie grins, excitement vibrating off him.
“Okay, let me look at you. You look good, Vi!”
You mock a twirl, spinning with a curtsy for good measure.
“I like your hair like this,” he compliments, plucking at a strand. “Suits you.”
“Thanks, Casanova,” you laugh. “How’s Eva?”
“Oh, she’s good. So good. Did you see all the pictures I posted from the Taylor Swift concert? I’m officially the best dad in the world.”
“I did, and they were the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. She’s so big, now. Can’t wait to see her soon.”
“I’m sure she’ll be excited to see you. Cousin tells her stories about you all the time.”
“…he does?”
“Are you kidding? Of course he does. Sugar does too.”
A cool sense of relief washes over you. It’s nice to know that they haven’t forgotten about you, as stupid as it sounds. There’s something comforting about knowing they still talk about you, even when you’re gone.
He plants a kiss on the crown of your head as the kitchen door flies open once again. Marcus, Tina and Ebra file in, along with a girl you’ve never met before. They’re looking at you with curious expressions on their faces when you hear it.
“Does anyone know where the fuck I put my good knife?”
When he doesn’t get an answer, he strides into the restaurant, stopping in his tracks at the sight of you at Richie’s side.
He tries to speak, but he can’t.
Instead, he practically runs across the room, wrapping his arms around you as your feet leave the floor.
You bury your head into the crook of his neck, breathing in the smell of home that you’ve missed so much. He’s murmuring into your ear, but you can’t for the life of you work out what he’s saying. It’s all low and slow, careful to not be overheard. You tangle your fingers into the hair at the back of his head, nudging his face back into your shoulder. He presses a gentle kiss to your skin, which sends a shiver down your spine that you’re praying he doesn’t notice.
Eventually, after what feels like hours, he pulls away to look at you. His hands are on your waist as if they belong there, as yours cradle his face.
“You’re home.”
He breathes it, as if he can’t quite catch a lungful of air.
“I’m home,” you say, sweeping your thumbs across his cheekbones. “You’re home.”
“I’m home.”
You’re completely unaware of the group of people watching you. They all know they should tear their eyes away, but they can’t seem to. It’s new, seeing Carmy like this with someone. They’re all wondering what the hell has happened.
“Fuck, I missed you.”
“I missed you,” he laughs, pulling you back in for another hug.
Pressing a kiss into your hair, he rocks you slightly, as if you’re both completely thrown off balance by the presence of the other.
You step back, giving him a once over.
“I like your tattoos, Carmen. Very hipster.”
“Shut up,” he chuckles, shoving you lightly. You shove him right back, both of you grinning like idiots.
His eyes flicker up, catching Sydney’s gaze. She looks completely bewildered, and a little uncomfortable. Carmy tugs you into his side, turning to face the crowd.
“Syd, this is Vienna. Vienna, Sydney. The rest of you guys know her.”
They all smile, meeting you in the middle for hugs and hellos. You hold your arms out to Sydney, who steps into them somewhat apprehensively, giving you a quick squeeze.
“My name isn’t actually Vienna, but it’s been a nickname for as long as I can remember. So you can call me Vienna, or Vi, or Enna. I get them all.”
She nods, visibly still a little confused. The door swings open one last time, and out walks Natalie.
“Oh my God!”
You give her a careful hug, on account of the bump she’s sporting.
“Oh, you look so beautiful, Sugar. You’re glowing!”
“It’s sweat from the kitchen babe, I swear.”
The blonde sits down at a table, and you join her, eager to catch up with one of your oldest girl friends. As you do, Sydney and Carmy reconvene a distance away.
“She’s pretty.”
“Yeah, she is.”
Carmen’s watching you as you talk to his sister, as if he’s worried you’ll bolt out the door at any given moment.
“Your… girlfriend?”
“Oh, no,” he’s suddenly a little flustered, hand scratching the back of his neck. “Best friend. We’ve known each other forever. Literally. Our mom’s had us a day apart. We were neighbours, grew up on the same street.”
“Ah. And she’s been away?”
“For a long time. Think it’s about five years, maybe more. I went to culinary school, she went to art school, both ended up living in different places.”
“Did you know she was coming back?”
“Jesus, Syd, is this twenty fuckin’ questions?”
“Sorry,” she says sheepishly, fiddling with the end of her braid. “You just seemed surprised to see her.”
“Yeah. I was. Had no idea she was back in town.”
“Did you guys keep in touch?”
He gives a look that says really?, but answers the question anyway.
“Not as much as we should have. It’s hard, being so far apart. We saw each other a few times, texted and called when we could. But it’s not the same.”
He glances in your direction to find you laughing with Natalie, a delicate hand placed on her growing stomach. Nat looks happy, carefree, like the young girl she once was. You seem to have that effect on people.
Richie pulls out a chair next to the pair, knocking into Carmy’s shoulder as he sits down.
“Told Vi we’d give her a table here tonight, so she can try everything. You should join her, catch up.”
Carmy reacts as if it’s the stupidest idea he’s ever heard, so Richie continues quickly.
“We need to be able to run this shit without you. One evening with you dining instead of cookin’ won’t hurt.”
“We’ve done it before,” Sydney adds, alluding to that fateful opening night. Richie snickers. Carmy doesn’t.
“And you’ll be here, it’s not like you’re a thousand miles away. We’ll come out and get you if we need help, Cousin.”
Carmy’s known his answer since the very first second Richie asked the question, but he’s trying to play it cool. He doesn’t want to give away just quite how excited the thought of an entire evening with you makes him.
“Fine.”
✵  ✵    · ✵    *  · ✵
You and Sugar have ended up practically on each others laps at your table, whispering and giggling like old times. She’s telling you a story about something funny Pete said when you look over at Carmy, to find him already staring at you.
Your heart skips a beat as you catch his eyes, smiling gently at the fact he refuses to look away. He’s so timid with everyone else, so worried about what people think of him. He’s never as bold as when he’s with you.
You wink at him, quick and cheeky, and heat blooms across his cheeks instantly. He winks right back, stifling a grin by biting at his lip.
“You never told him, did you?”
Nat’s watching the two of you intently, gaze flicking back and forth between her brother and his childhood best friend.
You take a deep breath. And then another.
“No.”
“Vienna.”
Her tone is stern, almost scolding, and you suddenly feel sorry for the child who’s going to be on the receiving end of it one day soon.
“I couldn’t do it.”
She grabs your hand, resting them both in her lap.
“Secrets like that eat people alive, Vi.”
You squeeze her hand before dropping it, desperate for the conversation to be over.
“It’s fine. I’m fine. I’ll tell him when the time is right.”
“The time is never right when it comes to Carmen. You and I both know this.”
You refuse to admit she’s right, even though deep down, you know she is absolutely is.
“You haven’t told him? Richie hasn’t either?”
“It’s not our place to tell him. You have to be the one to do it.”
You inhale carefully, risking a look over to where Carmy is stood up, pointing at a table in the corner of the restaurant. He’s clearly in Chef Mode, both him and Sydney speaking in a language you can’t even begin to understand.
He catches your eye and smiles, all bright and bashful, before resuming what he was saying.
You don’t want to hurt him.
You think it might be inevitable.
Everything is the same. Nothing has changed. Everything has changed. Nothing is the same.

FEB04: Cheering Them Up
You had a boyfriend.
Keyword: had.
Getting broken up with in the middle of the night was one thing, but having it be over a text message (all lowercase, no punctuation) was a whole new low. You knew it wasn’t going to last, but the suddenness of it was dreadful, as were the personal criticisms he decided to throw your way just to rub salt into the wound.
your bodys just not doing it for me anymore
we could still hook up if you want just hmu
but not in bethesda obvi lol
You weren’t sure what possessed him to say those things to you, but you had seen enough, so you blocked him.
Tear-stained and angry, you went outside to get some fresh air. You wrapped your blanket around you and stared up at the stars, trying to move on from that asshole as quickly as possible.
Suddenly, you heard John’s sliding door open up. You turned to look at him, and he seemed just as startled to see you there.
“Oh, hey… Hey,” he furrowed his brow, “What’s happened?”
You sniffled, trying to find your voice,
“Got dumped.”
“What? Just now? It’s midnight,” he sat next to you, “Did he just leave?”
You shook your head, dreading having to admit to the fact that you hadn’t even deserved a capital letter much less an in-person visit,
“Text message.”
You passed over your phone to let him experience the drama first-hand. As he read the messages, his face grew increasingly dark, almost scary. You couldn’t help but notice his attire while he read, and you felt insane for doing so. He was in running shorts and a cut-off tee shirt with some rock band’s logo fading and flaking on the front. You were supposed to be sad, but now you couldnt stop staring at his very visible and extremely muscular arms and abs.
“You’re joking,” he handed you back the phone in disbelief.
You shook your head again and looked down at the tissue in your hands, trying to come up with something to say.
“What a fuckin’ wanker.”
You laughed, nodding, and he cracked a smile. You let his voice wash over you like a salve, healing the hurt another man had caused,
“Well, this calls for a bloody drink, don’t it?”
“Don’t think the bars will be open by the time I make it out,” you joked. You weren’t going out anywhere tonight.
“Wait here,” he said, ducking back into his apartment.
He reemerged with a bottle of Scotch whisky and two glasses, pouring one for you and then one for himself, each equally generous.
John tinked your glass and drank. You followed suit, albeit a bit more timidly.
It burned. Then it spiraled into oranges and vanilla and honey. And then it burned again. You tried not to, but you made a face, and said,
“Wow, it’s good. Thanks.”
“Strong, hm?” He purred softly, pleased with his choice.
“Yeah, but still good,” you insisted.
“Don’t worry about those messages, love. Your body is doing wonders just how it is. He wants your reaction.”
You tried not to let the compliment linger in your mind for too long, but it was stuck in there like popcorn in your teeth.
“I know,” you admitted, “And I wasn’t going to marry this guy or anything, but…”
“Still hurts.”
“Yeah.”
John was clipping and lighting a cigar to have with his drink, and you watched him as he worked. He still hadn’t bought that ashtray he’d promised, but he was using an old glass bowl for now. He smoked for a bit, sharing it with you wordlessly. Then, he took a long breath and gave you a droll look.
“What is the difference between a condom and a coffin?”
You laughed before he even gave you the punchline of the joke, shocked by its crudeness,
“What?”
“You come in one and leave in the other.”
“John!”
He snickered, listening to you laugh, turning a little red in the face as he did so.
“Alright, alright,” he prepared another one for you, “What can you spell with P, E, N, I, and S?”
You raised your eyebrows at him, and shrugged,
“Penis?”
He scoffed,
“Spine, you filthy thing.”
You stayed outside talking and telling jokes long enough to see the black starfield give way to a pale pink morning, and before you knew it, half a bottle of whisky was gone. John had certainly worked his magic in you, and by the time you said goodnight and climbed back into your bed, you’d forgotten why you’d even been wasting your tears on a jerk like that in the first place.

1st of September
You had yet another dream about him. Why can’t you move on? When will this end? He held you in a way that no one’s ever had.
It comes in waves, you miss him a little less at times and then you miss him a little more. Although you swore that he’ll never hear from you again, you debate every time after a dream to make that call. Then you wish you’d stayed, you wish a lot of things but this, this is on a whole different scale. The scale of you missing Trent, could not be measured.
The moment you met each other, you both knew right away that you were perfect for one another. Time passed and it got more difficult, nothing happened in the way you wanted.
You spent your last summer with him, knowing it would probably be the last. You both knew.
28th of July
You lied awake, exhausted from the day. He was asleep, breathing slowly. The moonlight shined on his face so beautifully. Something inside you told you to leave but you thought, how can you begin again? How can you try to love someone new, who isn’t Trent?
As tears streamed down your face you kissed his forehead lightly so he wouldn’t wake up and left.
He’s going to wake up, without you. He will wonder where you are and he’ll think that this is where the story ends he just has to accept it and move on.
The memories, the good days, the bad days, they’ll be with you two always.
7th of September
Trent was spending some time at his mum’s house, filled with love from his family but the entire time he wished for Y/n to be with him. He don’t know how many times he’d thought in everyday, everything that ‘Y/n should be here’ or ‘Y/n would’ve laughed at that’,‘ Y/n would know what do to’.
He sat in the living room with his mother, watching some football to distract him from his thoughts.
“Oh Trent! Your birthday’s in one month!” Dianne exclaimed and Trent looked at his phone checking the date.
“Yeah.” He simply responded, completely emotionless.
“You should invite some friends over, maybe that girl that was here this summer. What’s her name again?” She asked and Trent got reminded of Y/n once again. He knew his mother adored her and Y/n loved being around Dianne as well, she was like her second mother. Trent knew that at some point this was going to happen.
“Y/n Y/l/n” He answered and watched his mother’s face lit up.
“Oh lovely Y/n Y/l/n, I miss her! What are she doing these days?” Dianne asked Trent and he started to get more upset thinking of her, his mother doesn’t know she’s not in his life anymore.
“I don’t know mum, we don’t see each anymore.” Trent revealed and the smile on Dianne’s face faded away.
“I’m sorry sweetie.” She said and comforted him as he couldn’t hold it in anymore, crying in his mother’s arms like he was a little boy.
“I guess you really loved her Trent.” She said after a while of rubbing his back.
“Yes, more than anything.” He sniffled and looked at his consoling mother.
“How do you know sweetheart?” Dianne implored and took ahold of his hand.
“Because nothing makes sense without her. Like everything was just at ease with her, and I know sometimes it wasn’t perfect and I said some wrong things, but that didn’t change our love, Mum.” He explained and she listened to every word.
“What you and Y/n had seemed special Trent and I’m sure she thinks that as well. Maybe you should try again?” His mother suggested as Trent looked up at her, giving it a thought.
“I don’t know.” Trent said and rubbed his eyes, ”I think I’m going to bed.” He added and Dianne gave him a quick peck on his cheek before he went up to his room.
8th of September
Trent woke up, tears forming in his eyes immediately as he opened them. The dream, was it real? Did the love of his life enter his life again and everything was how it once was? Anyways, it just a dream.
But he couldn’t let it go, he couldn’t go back to sleep. Y/n was all he thought about and at this point he couldn’t take it anymore.
He reached for his phone, the clock said 3am. She’s probably asleep he thought, or in somebody else’s bed. He could only pray for Y/n to pick up.
The signals kept going, until it reached voicemail. “Hey, it’s Y/n leave a message and I’ll call you back.”
Just hearing your voice made his heart beat faster.
“Y/n, it’s T. Erm well there’s no easy way of saying this.” Trent started as his voice was shaking and he took deep breaths to not start crying. “I miss you, really bad and uh,” He then went silent, wondering why he’s even doing this. “It’s been very hard without you, my mum asked about you earlier, she misses you too. I’m sorry for calling this late but I hope you’re doing well,” He paused. “without me, bye.” He sniffled then broke down sobbing. His heart was psychically hurting and all he wanted was to be with you, curled up in your arms..
10th of September
You were almost done with your work and took your last sip of your tea. You were going to meet up with your friend after work but one thing changed so drastically. When you were about to call her you noticed a missed call from two days ago. Just by the look of last numbers, you knew.
As you walked home from work you couldn’t stop thinking about it. The voicemail. You didn’t want to listen too it, maybe it was just a drunk call or just some gibberish. But your heart knew, he would never do that. He wasn’t the type of guy to drunk call you so this must be something important.
You wish you didn’t care so much. You must admit that you wish you hated him. No, no you couldn’t. No matter how much you wanted to or how easy things could be if you’d actually hated him, you could never.
When you got home, you crashed down on your bed. You were dreading it, you tried to move on and not care about it, but it was impossible.
You pressed ‘call voicemail’ and then, you heard Trent’s voice.
“Y/n, it’s T. Erm well there’s no easy way of saying this. I miss you, really bad and uh, It’s been very hard without you, my mum asked about you earlier, she misses you too. I’m sorry for calling this late but I hope you’re doing well,”
“without me, bye.”
Oh. You didn’t expect that.
You sat completely still against your headboard as tears streamed down your face. He misses you. He misses you!
So what do you do now? You could just move on with your life and act like everything’s fine without Trent. Or, you could send him a message but that will ruin the fact that you promised yourself he’ll never hear from you again.
Here you go..
You: hey Trent, i just heard your voicemail. i’m sorry. don’t know what you’re doing in the next few days but maybe we can talk someday, in person?
You buried your head into your pillow and felt your phone buzz, only seconds after sending the message.
Trent: yeah i’m free, is Tuesday good for you?
You: yes that’ll work !
Trent: so maybe we can meet up in the cafe you liked near your place?
Oh gosh, he remembered.
You: sure
Trent: alright, see you there then
26th of July
One more sleepless night. He brought it up again. You fell asleep crying and Trent didn’t want to hear you cry, turning up the tv to escape the guilt he felt. It breaks your heart when you want to be with him so bad, but you’re afraid of your feelings.
“I’m sorry for pushing you away Trent.” You said after minutes of silence.
“It’s fine.” He answered, turning of the tv.
“But it’s not.” You noted.
“Just leave it Y/n, goodnight.” Trent mumbled and turned away from facing you.
12th of September
You checked your outfit and makeup for the hundredth time before you went out the door. You were a little bit late but not too late.
It was just a short walk to the cafe from where you lived. You didn’t want to go really but you forced yourself out of bed to make it. Ever since you received Trent’s voicemail, it’s been replaying in your head. Every single word. Will everything he says today also replay in your head forever?
When you walked in you noticed that he was already there, sitting at one table. You were glad this wasn’t a popular place, so that you two could get some privacy without people reporting they’ve seen you two together.
You took a deep breath before walking towards him and as you walked, he stood up. To hug you.
You could feel your cheeks burn, it felt like you were finally home again.
“Good to see you, Y/n.” Trent greeted as you sat down, still unable to relax when you were in his presence.
“Yeah, you too.” You smiled and took your coat off, you were becoming too warm.
“I ordered a hot chocolate for you, is that fine?” Trent said and you nodded back in response. Why is he acting like everything’s normal?
You got your hot chocolate from the barista who’s familiar with you and Trent.
“Lovely to see you two again!” She beamed and you and Trent looked at each other, smiling but deep inside you both knew that it’s not how it used to be.
“So Trent,” You started, taking a sip of your hot chocolate, that was indeed very hot. “How have you’ve been?” You continued.
“Well, better than July.” He joked and laughed it off but you knew he was lying.
“You?” Trent asked.
“I’m erm, I’m alright.” You paused. “I think.”
You wanted to get straight to the point, because there was so many things to talk about. Trent wanted to solve things and you too. So it was just up to one of you to break the ice.
“Can I just be honest with you?” You stated and he looked you in the eyes.
“Of course.”
“Okay I’m just gonna say it. I’ve missed you.” You revealed as you watched his eyes lit up a little.
“I’ve missed you too.” He expressed.
“No but, I’ve missed you like.. so so much, Trent.” You spoke and your voice was shaking.
“There been so many times where I wanted to call you. There’s things I’ve wanted to talk to you about but you weren’t there.” You went on and you noticed that his eyes were glossy.
“Y/n, even if you called after a year at 3am I’d still answer you know.” Trent confessed as you stopped a tear escaping from the corner of your eye.
“But I will never forget that night.” He noted, you forced yourself to think back at nights where you two argued or made love but there’s only one you’ve tried to forget.
“What night, Trent?” You implored.
“The night my heart dropped because I realised you were gone. I woke up and you were gone.”Trent shared as the tears streamed down his face.
“I can’t even begin to imagine how you felt, baby.”
Now you were both crying. You know you cannot pretend that you don’t love him. There is no escape.
“Why did you have to leave, Y/n? I don’t understand, I just wished you’d stayed.” He whispered as you both dried your tears.
“I was scared Trent. I’ve never felt that kind of love you gave me before. I didn’t know what to do with myself and my feelings.” You explained and the tears streamed down your face again.
“I know you only tried to help me but you hurt me with those words you said you know?” You observed and remembered those nights where he doubted you, why you were scared to love him.
”I’m sorry Y/n.” He apologised and took your hand in his.
“You know I love you, and that’s never going to change, never.” Trent cried and you kissed his hand you were holding.
“I know.” You whispered, almost inaudibly.
”I love you too and I’m so sorry for leaving you like that, forgive me please?” You sniffled and he gave you a small smirk.
“I forgive you, my love.” He professed and smiled.
The lady who worked at the cafe started to walk towards your table and you looked around to see that there was only you and Trent left in the cafe, it was dark outside as well.
“Sorry to bother you two but we’re closing soon!” She happily informed you and Trent.
“Oh sorry, we should get going then.” Trent answered and you started to put your coat back on again.
You both left the cafe with puffy eyes but light hearted. Trent offered to walk with you to your place which you couldn’t deny after this afternoon. Hands intertwined as you both walked the short distance to your place. You and Trent walked in silence and just took in each other’s presence after such a long time apart, well two months but for you two it felt like forever.
You now stood outside your apartment, wondering what to do now.
“Alright, so what do we do now?” You spoke up, unsure what the future holds for you and him.
“I miss you, you miss me too. So why can’t we make it work?” Trent challenged and you sighed, “Because..”
“Because? There really is no reason, Y/n.” He asserted and you both chucked.
“You’re right.” You agreed and put your hands in your pockets as the cold autumn breeze came.
“I’ll see you around then.” Trent remarked and you nodded.
As you turned your back on him I didn’t feel right, something was missing. Trent.
You turned around and called his name, little did you know he already had turned around to you too.
Your lips met, his arms were wrapped around your waist and you didn’t care about your surroundings.
How do you even let go of a person who feels like home?
“I can’t leave you now Y/n.” He laughed and you kissed his heart shaped lips once again.
“Can’t leave you either.” You blushed.
You took his hand and went inside your apartment, he couldn’t contain himself from leaving kisses all over you neck and your face.
You were no longer scared of your feelings because you knew that no matter how hard you tried to deny them, they were always there. Your love for Trent won against every fear you had.
You two were living in parallels the entire time you were apart. You both dreamed about each other, wanted to call one another but didn’t, until Trent got the courage to do it. Because he couldn’t stand another day without you.
The story you both thought died was never over.
Your love for each other was never over.

✦ “ᴄᴏɴꜰᴜꜱɪɴɢ ꜰᴇᴇʟɪɴɢꜱ.” ✦
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
fluff (angst?) prompt: “You have something in your hair, umm… Do you want me to get it out?”
SYNOPSIS - It was your choice, and he didn’t like it. After coming back from helping your allies in Wholecake, tensions grow between you and your captain and your interactions become awkward. The now freed Wano gives you and Law the chance to speak to one another and express both of your true feelings.
CW - spoilers! mentions of stuff from Wholecake to the end of Wano, gn!reader, usage of “Y/N”, mentions of arguments, reader fights off and kills a beast, mention of fainting, holy this is a lot more angsty than I imagined.
A/N - Sorry guys, a lot is happening in my life rn so if I’m not posting that much that is why. Hope you all enjoy this :))
Tumblr media
To say your captain is always stressed is like saying a cat likes milk. It’s just so common. Unfortunately, Law’s stress levels currently were as common as a pig that can fly.
The Heart Pirates made it to Wano just a week prior. You’d decided to follow the handful of strawhats to Whole Cake to help them retrieve their friends and the poneglyph that Big Mom kept in her protective castle.
Much to your captains dismay, to say the least. The two of you fought before you left. He hadn’t wanted you to leave, and you wanted to do something to help with your friend's crew.
Words were said. He argued the strawhats as not being their friend, and how you should “join them if you loved them so much” while storming off. Leaving you saddened and upset. As the mission went on, you couldn’t help but worry for your crew.
Well… more for your captain than crewmates.
Due to the strong currents of Wano upstream entrance, you crash landed in the country and were now searching for your crew in an attempt to keep yourself out of any danger. Which was a lot trickier than you imagined, being that you were venturing through a forest that was packed with dangerous animals. Leading you to your current situation.
“Take this!” You exclaimed, taking your weapon and striking the creature. It screeches in pain, dropping to the ground and effectively disabling it for good.
You take a second to breath, walking up to the beast and dealing the finishing blow. The rush of adrenaline slowed and you steadied your heart rate. All of a sudden, you hear a loud sound of feet coming towards you. Without a second thought you ripped the weapon from its place from the beast's corpse. Ready to attack. When the threat you had thought was completely different.
“Y/N! IT’S US! DON’T ATTACK!” Called a voice that you had remembered. You jumped with joy as you ran over to your crews very own first mate, Bepo. As he wrapped his soft body around you in joy.
“Bepo! Oh my god- I missed you so much!” You gushed. From behind, Sachi and Penguin came up and hugged you tightly as well. It wasn't long before your captain came.
“Captain…” You mumbled. He kept his gaze on you, a frown displayed prominently on his face. Though, you could make out a hint of sadness in his eyes.
Law was always a very proud man. Things not going his way would be difficult for him, and he’d say and do stuff he soon regrets later. He has his faults for sure. But he always made up for his mistakes. In his own Law way.
His silver eyes looked you up and down. You couldn’t help but notice his hands that slightly shook. It was clear his eyebags had gotten heavier and darker since last you saw him. You wondered if it was because of the plan or you.
Before you could say anything, he walked up close towards your direction. Your heart rate increases once again. His arm reached up, causing you to close your eyes in a knee jerk reaction. After a couple of seconds you opened your eyes. Only to find your captain holding out a leaf in front of you, and a lingering feeling of a hand in your hair.
“You had something in your hair.” He states, tossing the leaf aside. A blush came on your face, and you awkwardly laughed.
“Ah. yeah, I guess so. Thanks, captain.” You sputtered. Walking away, you turn your head back to your captain talking to Bepo.
He turns his head to you, and your eyes lock together for a second before the both of you let go. A sinking feeling surfacing in your stomach. It felt bad… but also felt good. A confusing feeling for sure.
Trafalgar Law was at a standstill. For one, he had a pounding headache and his stress levels almost made him feel nauseous. At the same time, he felt funny at the sight of seeing you again. He couldn’t tell if he was happy or upset.
It was just a confusing feeling for sure.
Tumblr media
The war was over.
After days of preparing, planning and fighting, the country of Wano was free and it was the perfect time to party and rest.
At the sound of Kaido defeated, you fainted. The fight took everything out of you. You had awoken to the sound of your friends cries for you to wake. And it had taken a moment before you realised you weren't dead, and your crew was cheering with joy and not fear.
After wandering around you had caught your captain. Sat upon an engawa that viewed the entirety of the Flower Capital in its joyous and festive mood.
He sat with his clean kimono and usual hat put off to the side. Letting you gaze at the back of his raven hair. He seemed content with his relaxed gaze peering over the city.
With caution, you waltzed over to him and lounged next to him. Not saying a word. He glanced over in your direction.
“Oh, Y/N. You’re awake.” He says, surprised. You keep your mouth shut and keep on looking ahead. He starts again, taking a long breath before.
“Y’know, those idiots wouldn't stop crying about you. They kept asking if you were awake every five minutes. God, they’re so annoying…”
You figured he was talking about Bepo, Sachi and Penguin. As they burst into tears at the sight of you awake and well.
“The whole country is celebrating after everything. It’s ironic how they’re the same people who supported the bastard.” He comments, with a scoff.
“I can still feel the pain from before. All that planning and strategizing went to waste thanks to Strawhat- ya’s idiocy. What would he know about a good plan? He invited you to go on that stupid rescue mission.”
“God, I was so furious when you left. You were reckless, stupid and a fool. So adamant about “helping a friend” and “doing it for us”. You didn’t have to prove that you were a good person by leaving.”
“You have no idea how worried I was. For our plan to work, for us to come out of this alive… for you. I’m still a little shaken from everything.”
“Why did you leave us? I’m still…”
“Damn it, Y/N, will you say something!?”
He asks, loudly and with a hint of anger behind his eyes. Along with another hint of sadness. You couldn't help but smile at his silvery eyes as they tried to pierce through your own. But with no avail.
Your hand went up, a finger pointing towards his messy, black hair. You giggle.
“You have something in your hair, um… do you want me to get it out?” You ask, smiling.
A small blush forms on his pale blue cheeks, stretching out to the very tips to his ears. He slowly nods and lets you gently remove the pale pink sakura petal out. A stark contrast to his hair. You giggle once more and with a soft blow, you watch the petal fall down to the restless crowd below. Disappearing into the Flower Capital.
“And this time I asked.” Adding on with the question. Making him embarrassingly scoff and look away. Like a little boy.
“Yeah, thanks…” He mumbles, crossing his arms together.
Without hesitation, you scooch in closer towards him and rest a head on his shoulder. Mainly to test the waters to see what he’ll do. Law tenses, but lets you do what you please. A shaky breath leaving him.
“Law, listen,” You start, gaining his attention by him turning his head to you, “I just wanted to say I’m sorry. I know how much stress I put you under, really. The guys wouldn’t stop talking about it. And- for the record- you weren’t the only one worried. I couldn’t leave the thought of something happening to you in the back of my head.”
His eyes widened. Not leaving your illuminated face. You look over to him, smiling.
“And… for the record again, I was mainly worried about you. You and your stupidly cute worried face.”
A pregnant pause took hold. You wondered if you said something wrong, your heart skipping a beat. Glancing over, you guessed a not so pleased Law. But instead, you were given a captain with a smile. A growing and bright smile.
“God, that’s so stupid. Just like your stupidly cute face, too.” He says, repeating your last sentence in a way that made you playfully nudge him in the shoulder.
The two of you spent the night together just sitting and watching the night progress. After your confessions, everything seemed to go so smoothly. Laughing at your friends partying and tripping while under the influence. It made you feel like parents, in a sense. Watching over your stumbling kids. Law takes a long breath before speaking again.
“Please don’t leave me again, Y/N. I love you too much to lose you.”
“I love you too much to make you worry. So, don’t worry about it, Captain.”

heyy! I have a slutty request; giving Steve head while he's driving 🫣
A/n: I’ve been so MIA but I loved this request/this is my first ever Steve request so I really wanted to write it 😭 thank you for sending this in!!
Steve Harrington x Reader
Warnings: gender is not specified!!, reader giving Steve head (obvi), Steve and reader being a clingy couple, cursing, pet names (baby, sweetheart) reader is Billy’s ex
It was a Friday night, you’d been laying comfortably in your full sized bed, watching a random show that had been playing on the tv while you waited anxiously for Steve, your boyfriend, to finally call you. Steve was at work and you always missed him while he was at work. The up side was he missed you just as much, if not more and he’d call you every chance he could. He’d take breaks every 30 minutes to call you which had Robin highly annoyed since they were the only two people working. Robin had wondered how in the hell someone could be so clingy, especially someone that went by ‘king Steve’ in high school.
You ,however, loved how clingy Steve was. You’d love the random phone calls he’d make when he was on break at work and missed you or the texts he’d sneak in while he was actively working, but you loved being near him even more. You loved how he’d pick you up from your house, you’d both do something until you were ready to go to his place since his parents were never home and then you’d end the night with a movie, that neither of you were actually watching, and you’d thought tonight would be no different.
But tonight Steve had made one phone call in the span of five hours and he hadn’t sounded the happiest. You could tell it wasn’t because of you and he’d tried to sound like he wasn’t annoyed at all when he’d called you so that you wouldn’t worry, but you knew Steve better than anyone. That was your Steve.
“Hey, baby,” you’d said softly when he’d finally called you.
You’d played with the stretched phone cord whilst laying on your bed, the show that you were once watching, now forgotten, and You tried so so hard not to sound too worried when you spoke, but It was Steve, and the only thing Steve looked forward to when going to work was talking to you throughout the whole day. If it had been anyone else, you wouldn’t have even thought twice about the dry texts, but Steve was possibly the most clingiest person you’d ever met so it was odd for him.
“Hey, um, I’m sorry I didn’t call sooner,” He’d spoke before you even had the chance to ask him why he was just now calling, his tone was dry and he almost sounded sad.
“Oh, it’s okay. don’t worry about it, baby,” you’d responded simply, you didn’t want to be a burden if he was already having a bad day, but your stomach was twisting from the worry. “Everything okay though?”
“Yeah, yeah.” He had the phone pressed between his ear and shoulder, playing with the long cord the same way you’d been and he was nodding as if you could see him through the phone. “It’s Friday, so, you know, it’s Just been a busy day.”
You knew Steve, and you knew a busy day at Family Video wouldn’t have him in a slump like this. Family Video was rarely busy but when it was, Steve always handled it well. He was good with that kind of stuff.
“Makes sense,” you laughed breathlessly, you were now sitting up on your bed, crisscrossed, still playing with the phone cord. “Are you still gonna pick me up after your shift?” You’d wondered, your heart now beating out of your chest.
“Of course, sweetheart. Why wouldn’t I?”
You’d smiled at the nickname, it warmed your heart and had it beating a little less now. “No reason, just making sure.”
“Do you want me to?”
It was a silly question, of course you wanted him to.
“Of course I do?” It was more so a question than it was a statement. “Why wouldn’t I want you to, Steve?” You added.
There was a pause for a minute before he spoke again. “Hey, I gotta go, but uh, I’ll see you when I get off, yeah?”
And once again the tone of his voice had you frowning and your stomach upset.
“Yeah, yeah. Okay, I love-“ and before you could finish, he’d hung up the phone.
That phone call had tears swelling up in your eyes, and perhaps you were being dramatic, perhaps your nightmares had become reality and he’d fallen out of love with you or maybe Steve had grown out of his clingy phase, or maybe he was just stressed.
You’d laid back on your bed, tears threatening to fall, a lump in your throat and the show on your tv long abandoned.
You knew Steve’s shift schedule like the back of your hand so when he’d pulled into your driveway an hour after his shift was supposed to end, you’d been convinced he was minutes away from breaking up with you.
Maybe you were just being dramatic. Hopefully you were just being dramatic.
When you walked out of your house, you saw Steve. His hair was a mess like he’d run his fingers through it a few times, his arm rested on the opened passenger door that he was leaning on with one of his legs crossed over the other leg.
He always opened the door for you, and even in his annoyed state, he’d done it still. You gave him a tight lipped smile, still nervous as you walked down your driveway even after a year of being with each other.
He gave you a small wave with his unoccupied hand.
You welcomed him with a hesitant kiss to the cheek and he’d kissed your forehead when you pulled away. “Sorry I’m late” he’d murmured against your forehead before pressing another kiss in the same spot again.
“Its okay, just glad you’re here now.” Still worried, you’d given him a convincing smile and hopped into the car.
Once you were settled into the car, Steve shut the door and stuffed his hands into the front pockets of his tight jeans, making his way around the car, back to the drivers seat.
The whole car ride was fairly silent, leaving you with your thoughts that were eating you up inside and when Steve pulled into the driveway of his house, putting the car in park, he’d finally spoken.
“Billy came into Family Video today,” Steve had finally broken the silence, but his words had your heart dropping.
Billy Hargrove, your shitty ex boyfriend from high school, that you’d dated for all of five months before you’d finally broken things off with him. He was the worlds biggest asshole and he’d treated you like shit.
Was this why Steve was in a mood?
“Shit, what did he do?” You threw your head back against the head rest, rolling your eyes then shifting your eyes to Steve.
During the quick moment of silence, you’d thought about every possible thing Billy could’ve said that would have Steve acting off.
“Said some shit to piss me off. We got into it.” Steve tightened his hold on the steering wheel, causing his knuckles to whiten even more. “Couldn’t say much since I was on the clock though. Would’ve gotten in trouble with my boss.” He gave a humorless laugh.
You’d slid your hand to Steve’s thigh, giving it a comforting squeeze. “What did he say, Steve?”
“Doesn’t matter,” He shook his head before taking one hand off of the wheel and running it through his hair.
“It matters to me, Steve. I wanna know what’s got you all irritated, you know?”
There was a long silence before Steve spoke again. “You never told me he was your first,” he looked to you for a split second before looking ahead again.
You were taken aback. “What? Steve, I didn’t think it mattered. It was in high school.”
“I hate that,” he’d interrupted you before you could say anything else. “I hate that he’s seen you naked, you know? he didn’t deserve you.”
“Is that why you’re upset, why you barely texted or called me today?” You’d removed your hand from his thigh, shifting in your seat to get a better look at him. “Because that’s so unfair to me. I can’t control what happened in the past or what Billy says, but if you’re worried I’m ,like, attached to him ‘cause he was my first, that’s not the case at all.” You were rambling, leaving no room for Steve to talk. “I couldn’t give less of a fuck about Billy, Steve.”
“I know,” he mumbled whilst nodding, trying to convince himself that he was just overthinking, that he might even be a tad bit insecure.
“All that matters is you’re my last, right?” Your hand was back on his thigh, sliding up slowly and letting your hand roam around until your fingers were slightly touching his pants zipper.
He looked down to where your hand lingered, swallowing harshly before nodding. “Yeah, yeah.” he’d said breathlessly “right.” He’d mumbled once again, but this time it was due to how flustered he’d become.
You’d leaned across the middle console to kiss him, his breath smelling like the mint gum he’d been chewing on the way to your house, his clothes smelling like his expensive cologne. He’d kissed you back, his eyes screwed shut while your hand palmed at his growing cock through his jeans.
“Good,” you’d smiled against his lips. “Can I?” You both looked down to where your hand was and he was nodding quickly.
“Yeah, shit, yeah.” He couldn’t stop himself from breathing so hard, his cock begging to be set free.
You unzipped his jeans and yanked his boxers down, allowing his flushed cock to spring free from them, you grabbed his cock, your hand not fitting all the way around it. His tip was pink, pre cum leaking from it.
You finally connected your tongue to the tip of his cock, swirling it around before taking him into your mouth. His cock wasn’t even fully in your mouth before you were gagging around him, your eyes watering from the tip of his cock reaching the back of your throat.
“God, you’re so big,” your words came out muffled.
“Yeah?” He leaned his head back, screwing his eyes shut once again to focus on the feel of you around him.
“Yeah,” you nodded, a tear streaming down your face.
“Fuck, m’gonna come,” he hissed. “You gonna swallow for me?”
You smiled against his cock nodding with anticipation, and before you could even finish nodding, the warm liquid shot into your throat, you removed your mouth from his cock and, of course, swallowed before leaning back down, once again taking him into your mouth.
He tangled his hands into your hair, pushing your head down once in awhile, helping you take as much of his cock as you could. You removed your mouth from him again, licking up the side of his cock, following a vein until you were back at the pink, flushed, tip.
His cock was pretty and truth be told, you couldn’t get enough of it.
When you took him into your mouth again, he instantly came again. Steve’s hand pulled at your hair, signaling for you to lean up and open your mouth, and you did just that, sticking out your tongue to reveal the white liquid that sat there.
“So pretty,” he’d murmured.
That’s when you swallowed and smiled at his words.
“Thank you, baby.” You wiped off your lips with the back of your hand. “Can we go inside now?” You gave him a quick kiss.
“Fuck, yes.”
He’d sounded too excited to get you inside and upstairs.

Burden | Dream Reaction #11
Reaction: When their gf feels like a burden to them
Genre: Hurt/comfort
Warnings: mentions of anxiety, dark thoughts, mental health issues
Word Count: 3593k
Author's Note: This reaction was requested by an anon, which I am very grateful for. I feel like the theme for this reaction is pretty common in my stories. So I tried my best to come up with different scenarios and not sound too repetitive. Writing this story made me think of how all the members of NCT Dream are such sweethearts, honestly. I hope you guys like this and please feel free to request more! Thank you for reading ^ ^

MARK
Lately, there’s been this growing distance between you and Mark. You hated yourself for feeling this way because Mark was nothing short of the perfect boyfriend. He treated you with kindness and respect. He didn’t hesitate to show his feelings for you and cared for you in ways that no one else in your life has.
But you were someone who carried a lot of insecurities. Frequently, you found yourself pondering if you were truly worthy of Mark's affection. He was constantly busy with his back-and-forth schedules between 127 and Dream. Yet he still made the time to call you and ask how your day went. You felt like you didn’t deserve him.
One evening, you were engaging in a deep conversation with Taeyong at the 127 dorm. As the leader figure of the group, you sometimes found yourself confiding in the male when it came to concerns about your relationship. Unbeknownst to you, Mark happened to be present at the dorm that evening, and as he walked down the hallway, he overheard your voice drifting from the living room.
“I don’t know…Mark is so sweet and loving,” you spoke with uncertainty, as you held a couch pillow close to your chest.“Sometimes I can’t help but feel like I’m a burden to him.”
He observed Taeyong place a comforting hand on your shoulder. “(Y/n), you’re an amazing girlfriend and Mark cares about you a lot. You shouldn’t be so hard on yourself,” he tried to reassure you.
You let out a sigh, “I know…but I just can’t shake the feeling that I’ll never be good enough for him.”
Mark genuinely had no idea you were feeling this way. He’d stay up the rest night, replaying your words in his head. You were so important to Mark, and he couldn’t bear the thought of his life without you. Knowing that you felt so insecure saddened him deeply.
A few days later you received a text from Mark, asking you to meet him at the studio. The message felt somewhat random, but you headed to his company building, unsure of what to expect.
When you walked into the studio, Mark was sitting on the sofa with a guitar in hand. At first, you were confused until his fingers began strumming to a familiar tune.
“Oh, her eyes, her eyes make the stars look like they’re not shinin’. Her hair, her hair falls perfectly without her trying,” he sang softly. “She’s so beautiful, and I tell her every day.”
You couldn’t help but laugh, finding it almost surreal that Mark Lee was serenading you with a Bruno Mars song. But the charming smile on his lips didn’t leave as he finished the first verse.
“Yeah, I know, I know when I compliment her, she won’t believe me.
And it’s so, it’s so sad to think that she don’t see what I see.”
His fingers continued to strum the instrument as he stood up and walked up to you, singing the chorus with heartfelt emotion.
“When I see your face, there’s not a thing I would change. Cause you’re amazing, just the way you are.” He gazed into your eyes, singing the lyrics with such love and admiration. “And when you smile, the whole world stops and stares for awhile. Cause girl you’re amazing, just the way you are.”
Your hands were clasped over your mouth, and tears glistened in your eyes as Mark sang the rest of the song. The raw emotion in his voice and the sweet lyrics touched you deeply, making this moment feel incredibly intimate. The romantic gesture felt so sudden, making you wonder what brought this all on.
After the song finished, Mark gently took your hand in his. “(Y/n), I heard you talking to Taeyong hyung the other day. And I wanted to let you know that you’re never a burden to me.”
You felt a mixture of surprise and gratitude, touched by his openness and the effort he took to address your concerns. The love in his eyes reaffirmed that he meant every word, and a sense of comfort washed over you as he held your hand, grounding you in the present moment.
"I cherish every part of you," Mark continued, his voice unwavering. "In good times and challenging ones, we're in this together. You can always lean on me. I'm here to support you through everything."
His words were like a warm embrace, wrapping around your heart and reaffirming the love you shared. In that moment, you knew that you were truly seen and valued by Mark, and your heart overflowed with love for this incredible person beside you.

RENJUN
While you were in the kitchen preparing lunch, Renjun was relaxing in the living room. His group had just finished their promotional activities for their latest comeback, leaving him exhausted from the busy schedule. However, you became a bit flustered when you attempted to reach for an ingredient on a top shelf but found yourself unable to reach it.
Sighing in frustration, you stole a glance at Renjun, who was lying on the couch. Perhaps he could lend you a hand with this predicament. But as you started to hesitate when you approached him. His arm covered his eyes, as his chest slowly rose up and down with each slow breath he took. You didn’t want to disturb him when he looked so peaceful.
Renjun’s eyes slowly opened as he watched you walk away. Curious, he stood up from the couch and quietly followed you into the kitchen. The corner of his lips upturned in a small smile when he saw you struggle to get something from the cabinet.
When you felt Renjun extend his arm to retrieve the ingredient for you, you nearly jumped and turned around in surprise.
Renjun looked at you endearingly and said, “You could’ve just asked me, (Y/n).”
“I know, but you were resting and I didn’t want to bother you,” you frowned.
In response to this, Renjun planted a soft kiss on your forehead. “You could never bother me, darling,” he reassured, brushing away a loose strand of hair behind your ear.
You blushed at his warm gesture and whispered a "thank you" before returning to what you were doing before. Renjun was truly a sweetheart, and his caring nature never failed to make you feel loved and appreciated.

JENO
The day had been long and overwhelming. Honestly, you were just glad that it was almost over. All you wanted right now was to be in your boyfriend’s arms. However, when you entered the bedroom, you found Jeno engrossed in a videogame on his computer.
Approaching him quietly, you softly called his name. “Jeno-ssi.”
“Yeah, babe?” He responded, keeping his eyes focused on the screen in front of him.
You felt discouraged when you saw how concentrated he was on his game. Not wanting to bother him, you took a step back. “I—actually, never mind.”
Jeno caught the hesitance in your voice and spun around in his chair. Just as you were walking away, he reached to grab your hand.
“No, babe, what is it?” he asked, concern evident in his voice. Your cheeks flushed with embarrassment now that you had his attention. Even if you tried to brush him off again, you knew he wouldn’t let you go.
“I was going to ask if we could cuddle. but I don’t want to distract you from your game,” you muttered, avoiding his gaze. You couldn’t help but feel silly for wanting something so seemingly small.
Jeno’s eyes softened at your words, and in the next second, you were being pulled into his lap. He loved nothing more than holding you in his arms and pressing kisses into your hair. The idea that you thought he would reject you, puzzled him.
“You can always ask me for cuddles, babe,” he whispered softly, his arms wrapped securely around you. “I love being with you, and I don’t want you to feel like it’s a bother.”
You slowly smiled and allowed your head to rest on his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart. His touch radiated so much comfort and warmth that it seemed to chase away any lingering insecurities or anxious thoughts from earlier. For the remainder of the night, he kept you in his lap as he played his game. Eventually, he retired from the computer and proceeded to cuddle you in the comforts of your bed. Jeno just loved being close to you and he wanted to ensure that you never felt like you were bothering him again.

HAECHAN
Something didn’t feel right when Haechan entered your apartment. After sliding on the familiar gray slippers you always kept for him, he shuffled through the darkness of your living room. His feet padded down the hallway, guided by the faint glow of light escaping beneath your bedroom door. He paused outside the closed door. Apprehension filled him when he heard your shaky breathing.
Haechan swallowed nervously before raising his hand to the door and lightly tapping his knuckles against the wood. “(Y/n)?” he called out softly. “Is it okay if I come in?”
When he was met with an unsettling silence, his determination urged him to slowly turn the doorknob and gently push open the door. The second he stepped inside his eyes fell on you sitting at the foot of the bed with your head buried in your hands. His heart broke at the sight of your body visibly trembling.
Haechan knew you hated it whenever he found you in this state of vulnerability. When he was present, you often put on a brave face for him. You were always trying to maintain this cheerful facade, even when things were not okay. He understood the effort you made to protect him from your inner struggles. But the thought of you hurting weighed heavily on his heart.
With a small sigh, Haechan closed the door behind him. He noticed you tense up when he approached you cautiously.
“(Y/n),” he started to say, extending his hand towards you in a gesture of comfort.
But you shook your head vigorously and pulled away from him. “Please, just go away Hyuck. I don’t want to see me like this,” you pleaded.
His expression faltered at your attempt to push him away. He could sense the pain and he wasn’t going to let you face it alone.
“(Y/n), whatever it is…just let me be there for you,” he said.
But your head shook again, almost as if your brain was refusing to let Haechan’s words comfort you. Your fists repeatedly banged against your head, the pain momentarily numbing the overwhelming thoughts and emotions within you.
“I’m a mess, Haechan. I’m broken and damaged,” you cried. “I’m…I’m nothing but a burden right now.”
Haechan’s eyes widened with panic and he firmly grabbed your wrists to stop your self-destructive actions. “Hey, hey, don’t hurt yourself,” he murmured, trying to calm you down. “Who put those thoughts in your head, huh?”
As more tears cascaded down your cheek, Haechan loosened his grip on one of your hands and gently brushed away the tears with his thumb.
“Look at me, (Y/n),” Haechan whispered. He gently lifted your chin, locking your gaze with his.
“You are not a burden, nor are you broken or damaged,” he said, caressing your cheek. “Please don’t believe those lies your mind tells you.”
His voice was filled with a seriousness that resonated deep within your heart. The tears slowed and your body gradually stopped shaking. Once he was sure you wouldn’t resist, he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into a warm embrace. His chin rested atop your head, providing security, while his fingers tenderly stroked your hair.
“I know it’s hard for you to see yourself the way I see you,” he continues. “But trust me when I say you’re the strongest person I know, (Y/n).”
The outside world receded as his words sank in. Taking a deep breath, you closed your eyes and surrendered to his comforting embrace. No matter how frequently the inner demons resurfaced, Haechan remained steadfast in banishing them. Within his arms, you never felt safer.

JAEMIN
Although you woke up this morning with a fever, that didn’t stop you from attending all your morning classes. It wasn’t that big of a deal, and you fully planned to spend the rest of the day in bed. However, when Jaemin sent a text asking if you wanted to come by his dance practice, you couldn’t turn him down. You also knew that if you told Jaemin you were sick, he’d get worried, and you didn’t want that.
Despite you not feeling your best, seeing Jaemin’s smile when you entered the practice room forced you to suck it up. The other members greeted you cheerfully, and their faces lit up when they spotted the bag of food in your hand.
“I missed you so much (Y/n),” Jaemin said. He spun you around in a hug that left you feeling a bit uneasy due to your headache. But you tried to push it off, not wanting to dampen the joyful atmosphere.
As you sat with the boys, you slowly started to realize that you weren't feeling any better. The fatigue and discomfort seemed to intensify, making it challenging to keep up with their energy.
Mark was the first to notice your lack of presence in the group. “Are you okay, (Y/n)? You look a little pale.”
“I—I’m fine. Just a little tired,” You mustered a weak smile as you gathered everyone’s trash to throw away. But as soon as you got up, the room started to spin.
Jaemin and the others stood panicked when they saw you lose balance. Luckily, Jaemin reacted quickly and caught you when your vision blurred out. The new thing you knew, you woke up a few moments later, finding yourself resting on Jaemin’s lap.
“Baby, why didn’t you tell me you weren’t feeling well?” he scolded lightly, stroking your hair. “You scared me.”
Seeing the genuine concern in his eyes made you feel a little guilty. “I’m sorry, I just didn’t want to be a burden to you,” you mumbled, slowly sitting up with Jaemin’s help.
Your boyfriend sighed and cupped your face in his hands. “No baby! You’re never a burden to me, especially when it comes to your health.”
Jaemin tried to convince you to go home, worried about your well-being. But you insisted on staying, wanting to support him. Throughout the rest of practice, he kept checking up on you. Despite some teasing and complaints from the other members about how disgusting and cute you guys were, you didn’t pay them much attention.
Seeing how much Jaemin cared for you and how attentive he was to your needs made you feel deeply loved and cherished.

CHENLE
Gift-giving was Chenle’s love language, and it was something you still haven’t adjusted to. While you appreciated the thoughtfulness behind receiving flowers and stuffed animals from your boyfriend, you couldn’t help but feel a little guilty. You didn’t like him frequently spending money on you when he could save it for something more important. At the end of the day, you understood that this was Chenle’s way of expressing his love and you didn’t want to diminish that.
One afternoon, the two of you were at an outdoor mall on a date. The initial plan was just to do some window shopping. But there was a clothes shop place that Chenle suggested you guys check out. The two of you walked around the store for a bit and there was a dress that caught your eye. It was a simple plaid black dress adorned with white sleeves. The classic design exuded an elegance that matched your fashion style.
However, your interest was forgotten when you picked up the price tag. There was no way you were going to spend so much money on one dress. Chenle noticed your eyes widening and followed your gaze to the dress you were looking at.
“Oh, that would look so cute on you,” he remarked.
You smiled sheepishly and let go of the fabric. “Yeah, but it’s pretty expensive. I don’t think I should buy it.”
Chenle smiled and swung his arm around your shoulder. “Who says you’re buying the dress? Don’t worry baby, I got you.”
A frown immediately tugged at your lips. The idea of him paying already made you feel bad. Even if the dress was nice, you were perfectly fine with not having it.
“Chenle, you don’t have to do that. I’m not worth this,” you said quietly. The carefree expression on Chenle’s face turned to one of confusion.
“What do you mean you’re not worth it?” he asked. “You’re worth every cent of my money and love.”
“But I don’t want to burden you,” you emphasized. “It’s just a dress Chenle, I don’t need it.”
Sighing softly, Chenle cupped your cheeks into his hands, making sure you were looking into his eyes. “Listen here future Mrs. Zhong, you are not a burden or anything of the sort. You’re worthy of anything in this world and I will prove it to you at any cost.”
His words caused heat to rise to your cheeks. But when you lowered your head in embarrassment, Chenle brought your face back up and kissed you. He couldn’t care less about the nearby customers who were now staring at you two.
Feeling even more flustered, you pulled away in surprise. “Zhong Chenle, you can’t just kiss me in front of all these people!”
“Well if you don’t want me to kiss you again, you’re going to come with me to check this out.” Your boyfriend smiled mischievously and took the dress off the rack.
Any more protests from you went ignored, as the boy was already taking your hand and leading you to the checkout area. Chenle was definitely something else, always managing to surprise you with his spontaneous and caring nature. But you were grateful to have such a loving boyfriend. You could always count on him to make you feel like the most special girl in the world.

JISUNG
He was just roaming around your apartment as you were in the kitchen making instant ramen for the two of you. It was Jisung’s second time visiting, and he wanted to become more familiar with your living space. He wandered into the bedroom, instantly picking up on how everything was so neat and tidy. He smiled when he spotted a framed picture of him on your nightstand. Seeing the photograph there filled him with warmth, knowing that you held him close to your heart.
However, he also noticed a small black journal on your nightstand. Curious, he picked up the object and opened it absentmindedly. His eyes quickly widened in horror as he read the top words on the second page.
It was a list of the things you didn't like about yourself. His heart sank as he saw pages filled with bullet points, each one representing the insecurities you carried within. Dread filled him as he skimmed over the reasons that varied from your looks to what you perceived as flaws.
What hurt him the most was the last one on the bottom, which said: “I am a burden to everyone around me.” The weight of those words hit him like a tidal wave, leaving his heart heavy with a mix of sadness and anguish.
“Jisung what are you—” You entered the room, wondering what he was doing in here.
Your body froze when you saw the notebook clutched tightly in his hands. The sight immediately filled you with panic, uncertain of how much he read.
Jisung glanced up, looking like he was about to cry. “(Y/n), do you really think you’re a burden?”
The sadness in his tone only confirmed your fears and caused a wave of vulnerability to wash over you. You took a hesitant step closer, wanting to reach out and comfort him, yet also feeling exposed and uncertain of how to respond. But when tears began to spill out of Jisung’s eyes, you rushed to his side.
“Baby I—” You tried to say something, but the words caught in your throat.
"Was there something I did or said to make you think that?" He fretted, his brows furrowing with genuine concern.
Shaking your head, you wrapped your arms around him. “No, you didn’t do anything Jisungie. It’s just me that’s the problem.”
Hearing your confession only made him feel worse. The realization that you had been struggling with these feelings of, and he didn’t know killed him. As your boyfriend, he felt responsible for not being there to show how much you meant to him.
“(Y/n), I…I love you so much,” Jisung cried, his voice muffled against your shirt. “You’re never a burden to me or…or anyone. Please don’t think that way.”
You slowly exhaled, offering soothing pats on the boy’s back as you tried to comfort him. Seeing how deeply upset Jisung was about this surprised you. It took a few minutes for you to get him to stop crying. You rocked him back and forth in your embrace, pressing kisses into his hair and whispering apologies. Once he calmed down, you promised Jisung you’d work on being less critical of yourself and be more open about your feelings with him.

You were… going home?
Riddle would look at you, confused when you first told him. As far as he was concerned, Night Raven College was your home now… but it seemed you didn’t feel the same.
When you tell him, you would be able to see his whole body grow tense, and his eyebrows furrow slightly. He’d look away, trying to process what was just said to him. After taking a breath, he’d look back and put on a smile. “That’s wonderful (MC), I’m glad you’ve finally found a way to return home.”
You could tell that something was off though. Riddle had been… watching you for some time, and though you probably wouldn’t notice, he had found himself falling for you, and those feelings were starting to get more and more intense… he planned to finally ask you out at the weekend but… now?…
You were going to a whole different world, quite literally a universe where riddle didn’t exist, and that terrified the housewarden! But it pushed his courage back down. He couldn’t ask you out now.
The entire time he’s with you he’d be trying to draw out conversation, in a pitiful attempt to spend more time by your side. He’d make you tea, he’d offer to go out for the day to hang out for one last time but… well you were leaving tomorrow. And there was no time for frolicking about in the rose maze or just having a last wander around the campus.
You would be gone.
The emptiness that the thought gave riddle would be one that he was saddled with for likely the rest of his life… at least he’d never forget you…
He’d make sure to personally accompany you to the mirror that led you home, and right before you go through, he’d pull you close in his arms in a desperate, tight hug. All he can muster up to say is: “I’ll miss you (MC)… please… never forget us… never forget me….”
And like that… you were gone.

Tch… good riddance.
When you tell Leona, he’d just spend a moment looking at you. He looks judgemental, as if finding you weird for leaving or something, but that’s just kinda his resting face.
Instead, he’s actually just trying to process what the fuck you just said to him. What, you were going back to ramshackle? Nah, you wouldn’t be this excited. So did you mean, back to where you came from… before NRC? The more he thought about it, the more he remembered. Oh yeah. That’s right…. You’re from a different world. Is that where you were going?
At first Leona didn’t really have much of a reaction, other than a shrug, but the more you started to talk about it, and the more excited you seemed… his tail started to flick behind him, a hint of a snarl pulled at his upper lip ever so slightly, and his little ears bent back.
It was a feeling he had felt before, yet when he felt it with you it made his blood boil. Jealousy. Jealousy for anyone who would try and take you from him in this other world.
…okay yeah. He had sort of developed a bit of a thing for you, it was no big deal. Or at least, it wasn’t until now. His heart genuinely ached in a way that he had never felt before, and for the first time, Leona Kingschollar felt… vulnerable but of course he couldn’t show that, so he simply shrugged it off.
“It’ll be good to see the back of ya.” He scoffed, rolling his eyes, though it… felt wrong to say. But he couldn’t muster up the confidence for any sort of apology or retraction of his statement. And seeing the way your face fell a little made him want to tear you apart for taking what he said seriously. But there was no telling with Leona.
He made no attempt to force you to stay, but… in his mind, it was all he could think about. He hated sappy romance and all that bullshit, but there was a part of him that didn’t want you to be his partner, but his mate. And that’s how he knew that he liked you. It wasn’t superficial, it was instinctual and raw…
…he actually wanted you.
There would be a ceremony held for you leaving, and the entire time you’d be able to see and feel those harsh green eyes staring at you from the back of the crowd. It would make you uneasy the whole time, but you’d get on with it anyway.
When you get through, you’d realise that your bag felt heavier than it did when you left, and in it, when you open it, you’d find a glass bottle of sand with a letter attached.
It was from Leona…
The letter would talk about how he couldn’t bring himself to actually say goodbye and that he’ll miss you….. Ruggie wrote it for him after listening to him rant…
At least he does actually care…

You… you can’t leave!
Upon hearing the news, Azul would visibly panic, and immediately start trying to convince you out of it before… realising that his own emotions were slipping through. He’d correct himself, fixing his jacket and clearing his throat. “…Apologies.” Hed hum solemnly. “I wish you the best.” His voice was weirdly empty.
It would be easy to tell that he’s upset. When Azul’s in love, he has very little control over what his mind does, and that’s why he gets so distressed by it, it throws a massive wrench in the gears of his mind and messes with everything, but… he couldn’t just stop it.
Standing with you, alone in the Octavinelle lounge, you’d see him look away as he tries to discern his feelings, figuring out what he should show and what he shouldn’t, but it was too late. You had already seen how he freaked out at just the notion of you leaving, so you put your hand on his shoulder as an attempt to comfort him, and at first he flinches, not expecting the contact, but quickly relaxes and just looks at you.
There’s no way he could tell you. Not now. Not ever… it was his secret and it’ll remain that way. Or at least, he thought so. He seemed to have absolutely no idea that it was incredibly obvious he was head over heels for you. Everyone could see it. You could see it. But no one had the heart to tell Azul that his massive crush on the prefect was painfully clear.
Feeling bad for him, you’d take up his offer to spend the day with him, in which he tries his best to “subtly” convince you to stay. Usually, Azul was a master of persuasion, and just being suave in general. But now that desperation was starting to seep into the housewarden’s actions, he didn’t seem as good at it as he should be. Even he was noticing…
In spending the day with him, he’d give you a proper tour of Octavinelle (as if you don’t already know it inside out), play a few games of chess, and have a meal together at the lounge before the night began to roll in. He was running out of time to convince you, but was also… slowly coming to terms with the fact that he wouldn’t see you again. It stung, yeah… but things change, and after his overblot, he was starting to accept that more.
His goodbye would be where he breaks, hugging you to see you off, but you’d find that he wouldn’t let go, and after just a moment… he began to cry. “Please… I need to… I…” his words would barely be choked out behind his sobs, before he peels himself back and with his whole body trembling, he’d confess. “I need to tell you… that.. t-that… I… I love you, (MC)…”
Putting a hand up to cup his cheek, you smile, and he looks back at you, terrified, so scared that you’ll make fun of him or berate him for feeling such a way, but rather, you lean in and gently kiss him on the forehead. He stops crying and just. Stares at you as you tell him you love him too, and then leave… for the last time…
His love was returned, yet his lover would never return themselves… so that was it huh?…

T-take me with you!!
Out of everyone, Kalim would be the most emotionally distraught of them all. When you first tell him, he’d gasp and take your hands in his own, practically jumping off the ground. “You’re going home!?” He would sound more excited than you actually were to return. “That’s great (MC)!! You’ve been trying for so long I’m so glad you can finally see all your family and friends again!” For most people, talk like that would appear insincere or sarcastic, but Kalim was just very vocal with his thoughts.
He’d spend the day with you, asking about what your home was like and learning about you with a bright smile the whole time. Though the whole time, something would feel… off, as if he was missing something, but you had explained that you were returning to your own world, so… maybe he was just happy for you?
“I can’t wait to come with you some time!! You need to come back and visit!” He’d chirp while eating lunch with you. And that’s when it hit you. He didn’t realise it was a one-way, one-off trip… it would take a lot to tell him, but after a moment of silence, you’d pipe up and manage to say.
You’d watch as his face slowly falls as you speak, to confusion. “What?” It sounded so genuine, like he didn’t understand why you couldn’t return. “But… is… is it not like a mirror?… like all the other portals?…” his loud, piercing voice began to grow quiet as his expression melted from confusion to sadness. You shake your head.
He seriously takes a moment after that, and it seems like this is the most he’d ever thought about anything between the whole duration of your stay here. And the entire time he was just silent. It even attracted a few gazes from others in the cafeteria.
“So I… won’t see you again?” His voice was empty and shaky, and it seemed like a light had left his eyes as he looked back up to you, his food now completely forgotten. You shake your head again, and as if that were a cue, Kalim’s eyes began to tear up and his bottom lip quivered.
“You… can’t go…” Usually, when Kalim cried, it was loud and snotty and a nightmare to deal with… but this? This was different, his voice was quiet, a wavering whisper, and his body seemed to shake with fear. He put a hand out on the table, palm facing up. Understanding, you’d put your hand in his and try to give a reassuring smile, but he’d just grab your hand a shakily lower his head.
Every movement looked like it was laboured, as he slowly sat up and raised your hand to his face gingerly, and kissed the back of your hand. He’d look into your eyes, desperation in his own. “Please… I want to go with you… but I can’t leave my own family and friends…” and you’d nod, understanding the predicament. You didn’t particularly want to go either, with how close you had gotten with everyone here.
When the next day rolled around and you had to finally say goodbye, kalim would run up to you, crying far harder than he had been before, and you’d just hold him and rest your head on his shoulder as he cries and cries. When he eventually does calm down, you let go and turn to leave, but he says one more thing before you do:
“Hey! (MC)! Tell people in your world about us! A-and I love you!”

Oh… I had forgotten about that…
Vil would seem… thoughtful, about the whole situation when you tell him. At first it would seem like he doesn’t believe you at all, but then you’d explain exactly how Crowley managed to find you a way home and he’d feel his heart sink.
So he was loosing you?… he’d just stare off into the distance for a minute before sighing and smiling. “That’s wonderful… though it’s a shame that twisted wonderland will be loosing such a beauty…” he’d raise his hand to brush across your cheek, and though that smile would remain on his face, the pain behind his lilac eyes would be easy to spot.
He’d leave you for the day to get your things ready, though while you’re gone, things would be starting to go to shit in Pomefiore.
Vil would end up stressed and upset, causing him to make rash decisions and lash out at his dorm members, leading Rook to take over in running the dorm while a few of the other juniors helped to calm the housewarden down. After about an hour of that chaos, Vil decided that— if he’s never going to see you again, you’d absolutely need something to remember him by.
Immediately, he’d start to try to put together a gift, a way of showing his love at the last minute and hoping that it would last. In the back of his mind, he wondered if it would make you regret leaving, and make everything harder for you, but it was a thought that he shook off. He couldn’t bring himself to dwell on that too much.
Going through his stuff, he’d manage to find a few things he wanted to give you: a beautiful ornate necklace, one with golden charms going down it and a small fake vial of purple liquid as the main charm, a full bottle of his favourite perfume, and a book. It was a book he had memorised inside an out, though it was very dear to him. It was a book of poison recipes.
His only hope was that all of this was enough of a goodbye for you… he put it all in a box, wrapping it neatly and sticking a red bow on the top corner. It looked beautiful, as was customary for a gift from Vil Shoenheit.
He’d spend a while wondering to himself if he should just give it to you and wish you well, or also tell you his feelings. After deliberating that for a while, he decided on a compromise. A love letter would do nicely… So with that in mind, he spent the rest of the night writing out his feelings to you the best he could.
Truth be told, he had always been intrigued by you, but it was only now that you were leaving did he realise just how much he… liked you. Like didn’t quite cut it… no he loved you… and that scared him honestly, which was why he had never even really processed that he did until now, when you were slipping from his reach. He knew there was no way to convince you to stay or to go with you… so this would be his last grand gesture to you.
The day had came. It was pretty late now, and you had spent the whole day saying goodbye to everyone, but Vil was last, and instead of finding him, it was him that came to you, with a beautifully wrapped box in his hands, and a small envelope on top. “Don’t open it all until you’re home safe.” He’d sigh, an odd, unfamiliar affection in his voice. “This is the last time I’ll get to see you…” he sounded regretful as he spoke, leaning in to plant a kiss against your cheek. “But I promise you, it won’t be the last I think of you.”
“I just know you’ll make your world far more beautiful when you’re back…”

If you’re looking for a reaction, you’re not getting one…
“Y-you really think I’m gonna fall for that?”
The first words Idia said after you told him you were leaving were… jarring. You look at him, confused and a little hurt, but he seems more defensive than anything else. “Look I know you’re j-just trying to embarrass me! Or get me to act all sappy towards you! It’s not happening.” He’d cross his arms and turn away.
Hurt, that one of your good friends wouldn’t believe you on some of the biggest news of your life, you’d leave. But Idia wasn’t trying to be mean, or defensive… he just didn’t want to believe it.
After being with you for so long he had quickly grown to love you. You were the only person other than other that was able to put up with him. You were sweet and kind and pretty and the perfect partner for him… but he didn’t deserve you, you were far too good for him in his mind.
Looking in the mirror, he’d sigh. But that’s when news would get to him… other people were talking about you going home… what? Idia couldn’t believe it. It was real?… you weren’t lying?… now he felt even worse. His stomach turned and his heart dropped straight down into it, and all he could do was just sit on his bed and stare at the wall.
Is this what everything had came to? He had tried to make the right choices! He was sure that he was on the path to the good ending! All the signs were there, and it even seemed like you were starting to show interest in him!…
…no you weren’t. He was being delusional. At least that’s what he told himself. Why would someone like you ever fall for him? He was a complete shut in, an asshole, ignorant, and now? Now he had personally hurt you. What was he worth anyway.
Lying on his bed, he pulled his legs up to his chest, tears pricking his eyes and the ends of his hair flicking red. Of course this wasn’t the good ending, he was a total screw up. This was the worst ending possible, it was so bad that… he had forgotten it was one he could get… you were leaving forever… game over I guess…
The rest of his day would be spent alone, crying in his bed. He’d sent Ortho away to go… do whatever… as long as he wasn’t near him to see his spiral, because things only got worse from there. He couldn’t even bring himself to eat anything for dinner.
Ortho, though he was concerned, wanted to respect Idia’s wishes, so he stayed out of their room until it was late at night and Idia was asleep. It was a good thing he had no idea that he had cried so hard he had sort of just… passed out…
You were standing at the portal. The next day had came, but Idia hadn’t. You wanted to go and say goodbye to him, but time was running out and the portal would close if you weren’t through fast enough. So… no goodbye…
Idia still hadn’t left his room. He didn’t plan to. What’s the point in forming bonds if they always break…

Leaving?… so soon?
To Malleus, your departure from the school would come as quite the surprise. Though he himself helped Headmage Crowley to find you a way home, he never expected it to be so soon. It had only been about a year, and in the grand scheme of Malleus’s lifetime? That was nothing. To him, it felt like you had only been here a few days.
You were an odd little child of man. He had never really known where you had came from, nor had anyone else, but what he did know was that he didn’t want you to return. He wanted to study you more, and keep you close. He had grown possessive, though you were just friends.
He had strong feelings towards you, which was why he looked so hurt when you told him you were leaving. He wasn’t the only one upset, but it felt like it to him. He tried to brush it off, after all, you were just some human that would barely live a fraction of his lifespan… yet… it was hard to think of you that way.
He’d put his hand on your shoulder and look at you with a rather harsh expression across his sharp features. “I don’t want you to go.” He’d state plainly, making you shift under his gaze and step back. You’d tell him that you’d like to stay, but you have a life away from here that you’d like to get back to. His expression would stay the same.
Being a dragon in love was complicated. Especially if the person you were in love with wasn’t also a dragon or fae of any kind. If that was the case, they saw you as part of a hoard, something beautiful and precious that only belonged to them, and that they must protect with their life.
You were that person to Malleus.
After a decently confusing and… annoying conversation about how you had to return home, Malleus let up and retuned go Diasomnia to let you do your weird human things. He didn’t really know what you were up to.
As he often did whenever Malleus had any grievances, Lilia seemed to show up out of the blue to talk to the housewarden. He asked him what had happened and he relayed the conversation you had had with him. He seemed to understand what he was going through, and gave him the best advice he could:
“Malleus, many people who you care about are going to walk through your life, it’s your job to make the most of their presence while you can, spend as much time as you can with them before they go. I can promise you, it’ll be worth it.”
So he took that to heart, and at the crack of morning the next day, Malleus was at the door of ramshackle, looking for you.
When you answer he insisted that you spend the day with him before you had to leave, and that you did. He helped to pack up the last of your things and mostly followed you around for the rest of the day until it came to your departure.
“Farewell, (MC). May we meet again in another walk of life… my love…”

Vil Schoenheit x reader
You were one of Vil’s costars back when you were both children, and when you meet again at NRC you remind him of the happier parts of his childhood.
—————————————
All the rage recently was about the new transfer student that would be arriving at NRC today. Although it wasn’t obvious, Vil was excited to meet you, with all the gossip going around. Vil could be rather adverse to rumours, considering they usually weren’t the truest - and that prove itself quite quickly as many of the rumours surrounding you and your awaited arrival were contradictory.
However, one thing that did stay consistent was that you were apparently something of a celebrity, and that usually required some modicum of grace. Therefore, Vil wanted to keep a lookout for you, as it made you all the more likely to land yourself in Pomefiore. Which you did, unsurprisingly.
That didn’t mean you arrived without any surprises, however. After your dorm was confirmed, Vil had your introduction fully planned - he was going to meet you as soon as possible and make sure you understood the rules and weren’t going to disrupt the order of his dorm - that would be a disservice to the rest of his classmates.
After all, perfection takes work, and it’s hard to function in chaos.
And yet, that was exactly the state of his brain once he first saw you. He almost didn’t recognise you at first - you’d grown up and looked different now. But you had the unmistakable shine of a perfectly polished diamond, a beauty that mirrored on the inside out.
He forced himself to regain his composure, “Hello, it’s good to see you again.” He couldn’t help but smile as he said it.
You laughed at that, “Yeah, well I did say you wouldn’t be able to get rid of me, huh.” It was nice seeing him again.
That triggered a memory, so vivid, that even though his brain flicked through the image of it in a few moments, he felt like he was reliving the whole thing again.
It was the backstage of a set you two were filming a movie on, the first day of filming had just wrapped up. You could tell something was wrong with Vil, you’d become quite close to him if only by frequent proximity, so you followed him backstage. At first he didn’t notice you, you were being fairly quiet.
He practically slid down the wall and resigned himself to staring off at nothing in the distance. It seemed out of character for him, to say the least. He looked vulnerable, which was especially strange for the always on-guard perfectionist that was your co-star.
It was wrong to just stand there and watch him, without his knowledge, but you couldn’t just leave him like that either - so you did the best your young mind could think of at the time.
You’d rushed to turn the lights off and yelled “boo!” out as loud as you could. Safe to say you scared the lights out of him - and he wasn’t very amused. Thinking back on it, it was definitely silly, but it got his mind off of whatever he was thinking about.
“What on earth are you doing!”
“hi… um, sorry about that, you looked upset and I wanted to cheer you up?”
Honestly, Vil probably would’ve been upset at your actions in most other circumstances, but he found it so ridiculous that it was funny. He found it hard to even accuse you of being unprofessional as he greatly admired your talent whenever you were on set together - so instead he wondered how you could have both. How you could shine and be carefree at the same time.
He’d be mad at it, if it wasn’t what brought him back down to earth.
Clearly you realised something was wrong with him and wanted to help, that was more than what most people realised about him. Almost everyone thought that he was emotionless in his pursuit of perfection - despite being a child, so he appreciated your efforts.
“Why are you sad?”
He was hesitant to get into it, but you’d already seen him with his guard down, so he did. And he’s glad he did. So he told you all about the issues he had with people’s perception of him, his villainous typecast and his ongoing rivalry with Neige that the aforementioned actor was blissfully but frustratingly unaware of. He’d even told you about the group of boys that had tried to attack him just last week over a character he played.
It was awful, no one should have to experience that.
You were quick to envelope him in a startling hug, and he melted into it and the comfort it brought. Perfection came at a price, and you were one of the few people that not only saw him as human, but treated him so. It made him wish that he’d never have to let you go.
As you started to let loose on the hug, he held you just a bit tighter, sending a clear message.
“Hey… you know, I’m not going anywhere! In fact, you’re not even going to be able to get rid of me when you’re finally sick of me!” You were extraordinarily headstrong about it, feeling for the injustice Vil had been served before.
As the memory came to a close, Vil looked up at you with a brighter smile than before.
“Well, I’m glad you kept promise.”

2.04 Children Shouldn’t Play with Dead Things
-“Yeah right—stuck with those people making awkward small talk until you show up? No thanks”
Clingy Dean is my favorite. He’s going through a hard time and he only wants to be around his Emotional Support Sammy
-At the hotel, Sam does that thing he does where he tells Dean he can see through him and he knows that he’s feeling some type of way about their dad’s death. This is a common romance trope. He knows Dean so so well.
-Every single episode now Sam has pushed Dean to talk to him. I wonder if he suspects that there is more to it than grief for Dean.
-It’s so interesting how their different ways of caring for each other come out—in s1 Dean was always worried about Sam because he’d just lost Jessica. He was patient with Sam and didn’t push him, but it was clear he was noting how much he ate and slept, and he did things like letting Sam sleep while he researched or offering food or letting him drive or putting on music he likes to doze to. Sam needs that respectful caregiving. Sam, however, is relentless when he sees that Dean is suffering and won’t let Dean ignore it. Dean needs that so that he can’t lie or turn away.
-Dean finally looks at Sam head-on after evading him the whole conversation, and Sam kind of draws back. Not fearfully, more like when the person you’re walking with suddenly stops so you do too.
-Sam says “you wanna take another swing? Go ahead, if it’ll make you feel better.” He sounds a little bratty, almost condescending. Like, You wanna do it again since you loved it so much? Since you felt so good after? (Dean didn’t.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Underneath that, though…there’s softness, like Sam really would let Dean hit him again. He needs Dean to give him something. That punch in the face just didn’t last and he’s desperate.
Dean leaves and I think he’s feeling pretty exposed right now. He’s a liar and his lies don’t work on Sam.
-Sam is a kicked puppy when Dean leaves him. He looks much more devastated here than he did after Dean punched him and walked away. At least when he punched him he didn’t ask to be alone after.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sam is so worried about Dean. His expression is pleading.
-When Dean comes back, Sam is watching something called “casa erotica 4.” He’s watching it with what looks like scholarly interest, or like he’s trying to figure out the plot from the first three movies he missed. Did he think maybe erotica would make him feel less sad about Dean? Evidently it’s pay per view so Sam had to have actually sought this out. He hasn’t done more than kiss anyone since Jessica died, so maybe this is meant to remind the viewer that he’s horny. So to recount, this episode he’s horny and he’s pleading desperately with Dean for something. I’m just contextualizing.
-Sam says “where the hell were you?” which is something an angry girlfriend would say.
-Dean is very indignant that Sam thought he was wrong about the case. Dean was right, and tells Sam he does actually know how to do his job. Sam used to openly look up to him so of course this is important to him, that Sam still thinks he’s capable.
-Their fights are just SO good. Sam is yelling at Dean that he’s scary and erratic and if this hadn’t been a case “you would’ve just found something else to kill” which gets Dean’s attention. Last episode he basically told Sam that he needs him to keep him from his violent impulses, from just being a killer. Dean walks away again until Sam says “Please—Dean—it’s killing you. Please.” I wonder if Sam says “please” to Dean like this only when he really, really needs him to listen because he knows that it works. Dean finally stops and looks at him, almost reproachfully. His kryptonite.
Tumblr media
The fact that Dean feeling unhappy is such an issue for Sam that he’s fighting and begging and asking to be punched makes me want to hurl myself into the sun. He REALLY needs Dean to be okay. If Dean ever tried to pull away from him when they were kids, or ever seemed like he was refusing to talk about something bothering him, Sam must have lost his damn mind. And that’s exactly how Dean would’ve coped with feelings for Sam.
-Sam says they’ve already lost their parents. He says “I’ve lost Jessica. And now I’m gonna lose you too?”
If someone said to you “I’ve already lost my girlfriend. And now I’m going to lose you too?” It would probably feel like you were in a similar role to their girlfriend.
It’s also wild that Sam is comparing their parents’ and his girlfriend’s horrific and violent deaths with Dean just simply not talking about his pain. Like, Jessica burned to a crisp on my ceiling and now this? Emotional distance when I’m sad?
-The way Sam nods when Dean says “I’m being an ass and I’m sorry” is very baby brother. It’s similar to the way he nods when Dean asks him if he’s hungry when he comes back from the dead, just more cross.
-Dean tells him “I hear you” but right now they have a zombie to catch, and he starts walking, leaving Sam crestfallen.
Tumblr media
-Dean thinks that Angela’s description of Neal being a shoulder to cry on and understanding what she’s going through sounds like Neal is in “unrequited ducky love” with her and your honor that’s exactly how Sam is treating Dean in this very episode, if only Dean would accept his shoulder.
-Dean says the following while making uninterrupted eye contact with Sam:
Tumblr media
Okay!
-Sam tells Dean his plan was “pretty sharp” so now Dean can stop worrying that Sam doesn’t think he’s good at hunting
-Episode theme is “what’s dead should stay dead.”
Dean eventually pulls over and gets out of the car to tell Sam they both know John traded his life for Dean’s. Dean thinks he should be dead and that Sam thinks so too.
This conversation is heartbreaking because Dean asks what Sam could possibly say to make it alright, and when Sam struggles with something but doesn’t speak, Dean seems to take this as him agreeing.
Sam clearly doesn’t agree that Dean should be dead or blaming himself. Sam looks frustrated and worried and upset that Dean could even think that. For one thing Sam just sees things differently and probably hasn’t bothered questioning John’s death very much, and for another Sam chose Dean over John so many times that we can safely assume he’s at peace with this exchange. But he couldn’t possibly say anything right now to make Dean understand, so he just listens.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-Dean’s guilt over John dying for him weighs heavily, and keeping things from Sam is slowly ripping him apart. It will be important in later episodes that Dean struggles so much to keep anything from Sam.
-The way Sam looks at Dean here. He loves him so much. He looks resolute, and I wonder if he’s thinking that he’s going to show Dean he wants him and doesn’t blame him.

It Hits Different This Time, Part 3
Angst, Hurt/Comfort, Rock Star Eddie x Steve Harrington
TW: Mentions of alcohol, drug abuse
Part One / Part Two / Part Three / Part Four / Part Five
Brief updates from Eddie, a phone call with Jeff, and finally some news about Gareth
Steve woke up with a stuffy head the next morning; he’d spent a solid hour crying with Robin on the couch after he got off the phone with Eddie, going over everything Eddie had said again and again in excruciating detail. They weren’t sad tears, they were tears of relief, but it still did quite a number on his sinuses.
Thankfully, when he talked with Eddie later that evening, Eddie hadn't let his own negative emotions keep him down.“Talking with Wayne has been tough,” he’d said with a wry laugh. “I’d really been hoping I would never have to have this conversation with him, but hey, we had it, and now things can get better.” (Which reminded Steve that he needed to call Wayne and see how he was doing in all of this.)
Aside from that, though, Eddie seemed to be in high spirits. He told Steve all about the detox process (“Terrible, I’d rather go skinny-dipping with Jason Carver than go through that again”) and about his conversations with his therapist (“Ugh, I feel like my heart is throwing up, but Doc said that was a good thing and that we’re making progress, so, yay?”) and all about his sobriety sponsor (a seventy-five-year-old Italian woman named Francesca that he called “Frankie, she’s fucking hilarious, I kind of want to set her up with Wayne.”) Steve just couldn’t get over how good it was to hear Eddie like this: how awake and alert he sounded, how clear his voice was, how loud he laughed. It made the last ten months even more glaring in how off Eddie had been before, how badly fucked up he had been on whatever cocktail of drugs he'd been taking.
They’d gotten a bit more time to talk this evening, which was wonderful, but Steve was relieved that they ended their call as early as they did because he had a few calls of his own to make, now that things were settling down somewhat.
“Hey Jeff.”
“Steve!” Jeff’s voice rang loud and clear over the line. “Shit, man, it’s good to hear from you. How are you doing?”
“Good, good. I just got off the phone with Eddie and I just wanted to say thank you, man. I can’t – I can’t tell you enough how grateful I am that you were there for him when I wasn’t.”
“Shit, Steve,” Jeff replied reassuringly. “Eddie’s my brother. He might be kind of an asshole, or, actually, he might be a lot of an asshole - ” (Steve snorted through his nose) “ – but I’d do anything for him. I was happy to be there. And I know that if I was the one getting into that deep shit, he’d have done the same for me.”
“Still, it’s hard, man. I mean, I wasn’t even there and - ” Fuck, he would love to stop getting choked up all the time. “ – and it’s been hard for me. I can’t even imagine what it was like for you.”
Jeff’s sigh was long and deep. “Well, I can’t say it was a fun time, because it wasn’t. It actually really fucking sucked, watching them just fall apart all the time because they were too fucking high. I’m just really glad I didn’t relapse myself.”
“It’s amazing that you didn’t, man.”
“Yeah, well,” he could hear the smile in Jeff’s voice, “I had an angel with me. Speaking of, Chrissy says hi.”
“Hi Steve!” Steve can hear the lilting voice of Jeff’s fiancée in the background.
“Tell her ‘hi’ back for me,” Steve smiled, although on the inside he was reeling. Why wasn’t I enough for him to stay sober?
“I will,” Jeff said back. “And listen, before you start spiraling or anything, Eddie’s drug use has nothing to do with you, man. The only reason I’ve stayed sober the last two years is because I got to a point where I wanted to be. I mean, I was into some rough shit when I met Chris, and it took me about a year and half before I decided it was time to get sober. And yeah, Chrissy was a part of that, just like you’re a part of it for Eddie, but the difference now is that Eddie wants to make this change and get the help to do it. He just got there on his own time. If there’s one thing you can’t do, it’s rush Eddie Munson.”
“Tell me about it,” Steve chuckled, and with his laugh felt the tension in his chest dissipate. “I’ve started telling him our reservations are half-an-hour earlier than they actually are just so we can leave on time. Which reminds me, he told me to treat you and Chrissy to dinner on the Amex.”
“The Amex?” Jeff whistled. “Fancy, fancy. We’ll be back in town next week, maybe you and Robin can meet us somewhere?”
“That would be great. Are you still out in Cali?”
“Yeah,” Jeff sighed, and this time his sigh was sadder. “We’ve been staying near Gareth’s facility, trying to convince him to stay.”
“Shit, man, I was going to ask what happened with him.”
“Gareth,” Jeff sighed again, “he just started the party scene later than the rest of us. It’s still new and exciting to him and he doesn’t think that all the shit he’s doing is a problem. And I mean, he hadn’t really gone that hard until that last weekend right before we came back, but I think he’s still in the denial stage with how bad it’s gotten. Chrissy is getting through to him though, I think. He’s agreed to at least stay for the four-week program.”
“Have you asked Wayne to talk to him? That might help.”
“Shit, I should,” Jeff hummed. “Wayne knows that he’s checked in, but Gareth hasn’t had phone calls until yesterday. I’ll get Wayne the number, see if he can’t help Gareth out.”
“Robin and I would be more than happy to talk to him, too. He’s family, you know? I’d hate to see him get hurt or worse.”
“I’ll let him know that he can give you two a call,” Jeff replied warmly. “That’ll mean a lot to him, I think. I’m going to try to get permission for Eddie to call him, too, I’m just not sure if there’s extra precautions they want people to take when they’re in these programs. At the very least, if Gareth sees Eddie get sober and stay sober, it might inspire him to do the same. You know how much he looks up to him.”
“Yeah, I do,” Steve replied, and he was about to say more when his phone started vibrating.
Incoming Call: Wayne Munson
“Wayne’s calling, I’m going to check in with him. Thanks again for everything, Jeff, and let me know if you need anything, okay?”
“Absolutely. Talk to you soon, man.”
Steve pressed the End Call, Start New Call button and brought his phone back up to his ear. “Hey Wayne.”
“Hello son. Glad I caught you.”

How Yandere Clark would react if the reader wanted to mate with him, being her first time.
This is if reader immediately accepted him and decided to move in with him. Also if she had no negative feelings towards hybrid’s courting methods.
——-
“A-are you sure?” He stumbled over his words. He needed to be absolutely certain this was what you wanted. “I don’t want to force you to do anything you’re not sure of.”
Clark winced at the thought. He would hate to bring that sort of pain to his mate.
“Clark, for the last time, yes I’m sure.” You huffed. You’d tried to convince him to mate with you which had transformed him into a nervous wreck of a bear.
“S-sorry…..I’m just anxious since I don’t want you to get hurt. Especially not by me…” his form slugged as he entered a depressed state. “It’s stupid, I know.” The round ears atop his head folded down in shame and sadness.
You crawled closer to him and stroked his back. It must’ve looked funny- a small, weak human comforting a giant bear-man like a child.
“It’s not stupid, Clark. Come here.”
The hybrid inhaled deeply as you enveloped him in a hug. Or, as you tried. The difference in size made it a little difficult. Clark loved getting hugs from you. Specifically, he loved when you would massage his ears gently while embracing him.
One of the reasons where because he could breathe in your delicious scent, and the other was because he never received physical affection from anyone before. They’d all get scared and avoid him like the plague the moment they saw his monstrous form. He understood where they were coming from, though. So he didn’t blame them. But it still hurt.
You were so sweet to him! And he loved you so much. At first, he believed he’d be leading a lonely life until he died of old age. But then out of nowhere, you showed up and brought love into his life!
He is very sensitive to everything concerning you, which of why he freaked out when you asked to mate. Sure, you two had lived together for a couple of months now and he’s accidentally seen you naked once when you’d gotten out of the shower and was changing. But even that was enough to make him profusely apologise and hide under the blankets with a flushed face.
He knew you two would one day complete the mating, though he didn’t know it’d be so soon. The truth was, he was scared. Scared of hurting you in the process of something that’s supposed to be connecting two souls and bind them into one. Deep down, it was why he was in no rush to mate with you.
What if he crushed you under his weight while doing it? Your bones, so flimsy and feeble would easily break. Or what if you died of suffocation? The possibilities were hundreds.
“Clark, my teddy bear,” he glanced up to see your kind smile. “You don’t have to worry about me, it’ll be fine.”
“Yeah, but since this is our f-first together I don’t want it to be a bad memory….”
You chuckled, “it defiantly won’t. You’re so sweet and gentle, there’s no way you’d hurt me.”
“But what if I accidentally-“
You grabbed his shin firmly, setting his widening eyes on you.
“Listen here, Clark. You are the most wonderful, adorable and cutest bear I’ve ever met. You are so nice to every soul you meet, even when they don’t treat you the best. There is no one sweeter to me than you and I love that about you. Clark, you are always so careful around me, it’s as if I’m made out of glass. But I’m not. So stop acting like I am. I need you to fuck me and finish this mating bond or we’ll dance around like this forever, and I’m not about that. You hear me?”
By the end of your speech, the man’s entire face was red with an awestruck expression. Did you just say all that? To him no less!
God, he’s one lucky bear. Being your mate is the best thing that’s happened to him.
A goofy smile graced his features, he giggled and said with a lustful glint in his eyes, “I’ll make you regret saying that. Be prepared, ‘cause we’re not leaving this apartment for a while.”
- 🐻
Yeah so mostly it’d just turn into a comfort session. Clark loves reader so much and he’s afraid of hurting her, even if it’s by accident! Poor baby!
This bear is simply just a nervous and overthinking wreck when it comes to reader.
Don’t be fooled though. There’s a lot of stamina and lust buried under all that sweetness. He’ll still be careful though, making sure reader is alright and prioritising her pleasure above his. It’s actually his first time as well, so he isn’t entire sure how to go about things, but he’s willing to learn his mate’s body.
Before he met reader. He wanted to know a thing or two about pleasuring your mate. So he typed that in the search engine and he had no idea there’s so much you can do.
Eventually, Clark being Clark, he had to turn it off. Then he went to hide in the bathroom out of embarrassment.

Wonder Full (act 2)
One Monday Teddy asked, “Uncle Harry, why are your flowers always sad?” pointing to the newspaper under his nose. The pen was still in Harry’s hand, half-chewed.
“I,” he said, stopped. Squinted at the sketching, didn’t really see it. “Are they? Sad?”
“Yeah! Look at this one,” sticky-peanut-butter-finger wiggled very close to his face. “It’s all frowning and all.”
Did look at the lily in question, couldn’t really see where a face would be for it to frown. An eyebrow, maybe, in that line over there, or—“Oh,” when it hit him. The sagginess to the corners. “Yeah, I guess it is a bit sad.”
“They always are,” with a truly Hermione level of self-assuredness. “Is it because of, you know, the Terrible and Devastating Loss You’ve’ad Suffered and… everything Mrs. Crouch always goes on about?”
Choked on a startled laugh, buried his face in his palm. “Sorry! No, it’s not—sorry. Jesus, Ted, you surprised me there, is all.”
Thankfully, mercifully, Teddy laughed too. A bit like Malfoy’s laugh, loud and unselfconscious, a little wild. “Sorry, Uncle Harry! I didn’t mean to,” words lost in another burst of laughter. Harry’s chest went tight and over-warm, something fizzy and bright bubbling inside.
“Look at us,” he said in this thick voice he barely even recognised, “all sorry and silly like that.”
“So silly!” Ted shouted, delighted. “Gran would say we’re being so silly!”
“And what would Uncle Draco say?” with only a touch of self-loathing. Teddy’s smile went big, and he came closer, conspiratorial.
“He would say we’re being absolute gooses about it.”
“Geese. He’d say we’re being silly geese?”
“Absolute geeses!” shouting, “that we’re—we’re—honking!”
They both roared with it, arm flailing, belly-aching laughter, shouting things like “honk!” and “goose!” and “stop, Ted, oh, god, stop,” flat on the table and laughing. Harry was constantly wiping his eyes, shaking his head, overwhelmed with how tight his chest was, with how much he loved this silly little goose of a kid, who used to be quiet, who still sometimes was. Who was scratched in the same ways Harry had been, and then in different ways altogether. For whom Harry was an adult, was a fixture in a life that wasn’t entirely stable, that was, still, full of warmth and bursts of laughter.
“Hey,” he tapped Teddy’s shoulder, “when he comes in here, what do you think your Uncle Draco’s going to say?”
Ted tried for a serious face, quivering around the edges. “He’ll say, ‘what on earth is happening here!’ and then,” giggling too hard to continue.
“Then?” Harry attempted valiantly, covering his own uncontrollable chuckle under his hand, “then he’ll—laugh?”
“Honk!” Teddy screamed, and they both lost it, both utterly and helplessly entranced, both, probably, a little bit in love with the image they each conjured of a bemused, sparkly-eyed Malfoy coming in with his arms crossed, with his slanted smile, with his frizzy hair and the piercings all shining in the kitchen’s florescent light. With the questions already on his face and his willingness to partake in any kind of idiocy, of silliness, with how he’d probably only make it worse.
“Honk,” Harry agreed, used his sleeve to wipe some snot, “oh god, Teddy, you’re—” no words to describe it. On the floor, Teddy had begun what he named his ‘loose goose dance’, which involved mainly elbows and the occasional shriek, and Harry lost it, entirely, perpetually, lost it.
“Teddy!” screaming and joining, flinging his elbows in every direction, belly simmering with it, with how—how silly and light and terrific it all was, everything was, in existence: that he had his godson and his kitchen and his Malfoy and his, this, this terrible, sticky, peanut-butter-moment, this lunacy.
A noise from the doorway—and there he was, their Malfoy, arms crossed and his face torn between amusement and surprise. “Hello there, Teddington, Harry. What—what on earth is—”
They both cracked with it, sobbing, melting down to the floor: “What,” Teddy, and “on earth,” Harry, lost, both of them lost to it, lost. In the distance, Malfoy was shouting (“what? What? You have to tell me, what?”) and they were all losing their minds, all already have lost.
“Honk!” Teddy yelled, and Harry did too, “Honk, honk,” and Malfoy’s pretty mouth tilted, and his eyes crinkled, and he said, “Honk?”
They couldn’t stop laughing for hours. Could have been days. Obviously, miraculously, it didn’t take long before Malfoy was laughing with them. When it came to being a goose, it was hard to determine who wore it more naturally, but they all fit, they did, together, together.
This is technically the first part of Wonder Full act 2, and is mostly presented as a gift (to you all and to myself).
