Freedom is not without its own cost. When he had fled from the laboratories, he thought it'd be the last of his worries. He didn't think that there would be anything out there that would hurt him as badly as he'd been harmed while on the operating tables or when Selene needed to run a test or three on him. Sid didn't know about the lycans, or how ferocious they could be, especially in numbers. On top of that, the Romanian mountains were rather frigid this time of year. The snow makes his soles turn a dark shade of red as he pads across the thicket and away from the looming danger that the hounds bring. The collar on his neck makes it hard to breathe as he swallows breath after breath, making the mistake of turning around to see them so hot on his heels.

One lunges for him and he has to spin around to properly defend himself. The ice and the tough ground makes him wince as he brings his arms up. Clawed fingers find themselves scraping along the armored plates of his own, finding no purchase as it snaps its jaws at him. This might've been a person once, someone with a life, a family. The thought slips past him as he forms a fist in his other hand to punch and push the lycan off and away from him. The pack starts to circle him as he growls, the exhaustion is starting to catch up to him as he gauges his options. Of course he could keep running, but that'd waste more of his breath. Fighting them head on wouldn't be that easy either.

Sid can't mutate past the arms, the collar limits him, a precautionary measure taken by Selene should he had tried to bite back. Something about keeping your dog on a leash... All together, they come at him, claws reaching, teeth barred like wolves as he feels them scrape and scratch along his body. He can only defend himself so well, even with the carapace that forms over him. His mid section is soft, and his backside is exposed too. He roars in pain as he can feel their mangled jaws sink into him, taking chunks for themselves before he can properly shrug them off. Focusing on the one in front of him, he uses his own hands to go for its throat, he gets a good grip on the underside of its jaw before he clenches his hand and pulls.

The experiment can feel the blood drip down his sides, the chill winter air leaving the wounds with a tingling sensation. Sid kicks it off from him as he shakes the other two off. His nose tells him that there's two circling around him, but there's someone else here, his scent being sharper than these mutts here.

tries to meet your eyes the whole day at the agency

peeks above your laptop screen and to the side trying to grab your attention and pouts when you don’t look at him

solely because he wants attention or because he wants to convince you to go somewhere with him

Atsushi has discovered that it’s impossible to communicate with Dazai when he gets like this

Venti wants you to grow up strong and not someone like him, well..just not the bad side. Not a carefree drunk that can’t pay off their tab everytime they goes to the tavern.

ZHONGLI is the oldest amongst the orginal 7 archons so it would only make sense he knows what to do. Zhongli took care of xiao for a while so he would have a basic understanding of what not and to do.

He’s not quite..the best but he’s more experienced than you may think. So when he had first stumbled upon you it was quite a scare already realizing where you came from. In his free times he would talk to you about tales of old or new adventures he encounters everyday. He notices how you listen very intently with visible stars in your eyes so naturally it comes to his attention you will possibly to be a wanderer (ayo scaramouche reference??).

He already has adoption papers not even a week after taking you in so don’t ask about it! He always has his connections to pull some strings. Zhongli is a different person when protecting you though, archons help whoever thought it was a “good” idea to mess with you in the first place. Legend has it..they never lived to tell the tale.He often brings you to yunjins shows or even third-round knockout.

“What story would you like to hear today friend?”

EI isn’t..entirely clueless I would suppose? She took care of scaramouche for a while before setting him free but overall she doesn’t really know what she’s doing. This is when yae miko steps in to help out a but since she would have more knowledge on these type of stuff. She likes to tease you but not to the point that it embarasses you too much. It brings joy to Ei knowing you are at least doing well but still being clueless she tends to distance herself from you not knowing that you crave for her attention. One day you have to come up to her yourself and explain you don’t appreciate her avoiding you with the most upset face she’s seen on you.

Taking this into consideration she tends to spend more time with you. Sometimes you catch her buying a bunch fo snacks just so she can share them with you later. Ei tends to have this overprotective side of her since you remind her of her sister a bit. So don’t be surprised if she won’t even let guards near you at times.

She spoils you rotten just like zhongli. She catches you eyeing something while taking a walk? Next thing you know it’s in your bedroom. Want some cake? Just make sure to share a slice! Ei makes sure to train you with your desired weapon as to you have at least some knowldege on how to protect yourself in her abscene!

NAHIDA can relate to your situation a bit since you both are still new to the archon thing. She’s only 500 or so years old and that’s pretty young in terms of archon years. She makes sure you didn’t experience the same thing she did. Treating you with a bunch of love and care as well! She is well aware of peoples feelings and understand them well than most of the archons can so that gives her a huge advantage. Nahida brings you around with her on daily strolls so you can interact with people not to mention understand human feelings. Nahida is still a archon and has duties so sometimes she would leave you with al-haitham or scaramoche. She trusts him enough to even hand you out of all people- well not people your a archon but yknow the point still stands.

She is still a free type of person though so expect a lot of innocent mischief. Mind reading, pretending to be others, that type of stuff. She wants to teach you to have fun in a way that isn’t harmful to others around you and i’d like to say Nahida is doing a very well job at it too.

Sure. I turn 56 today, so here’s fifty-six things you may or may not know about me.

1) I never lost a baby tooth. Every one had to be extracted.

2) I was once a contestant on Trivial Pursuit: The Game Show with Wink Martindale. I answered the most questions correct, but didn’t win.

3) I once had scarlet fever (the thing the boy gets in the Velveteen Rabbit).

4) I’ve been told by doctors I have very weird blood.

5) I self taught myself to juggle.

6) I was a magician when I was a kid with the stage name The Wiz Kid. I mostly performed for kids parties.

7) I was once a freelance greeting card writer. My favorite (that didn’t get printed) showed a jug of maple syrup tipped on its side making a puddle of syrup. In the syrup was a top hat. A hand is pulling a can of green paint with a shamrock out of the hat. You open up the card and it says Sappy Paint Hat Tricks Day. It’s a triple Spoonerism.

8) Sara Gilbert (of “Roseanne” fame) and I once went out for lunch. (It wasn’t a date or anything.)

9) I broke my collarbone doing a prat fall off a stage.

10) I once pet a cheetah. In South Africa. My face from the picture of me doing that was used as my “Making Magic” photo for years.

34) My parents are both retired. My dad was a dentist and my mom a psychologist. I used to joke I had a “paradox”.

35) Every birthday since I was 9, I’ve celebrated my birthday with crab legs.

36) Since I was in grade school, every Valentine’s Day, I hand out candy hearts, and every Halloween, I hand out mellowcreme pumpkins (basically pumpkin shaped candy corns).

37) My tee-shirts every week are themed. Some themes are pretty obvious, but they often get tricky. R&D likes figuring out the theme.

38) I got a BS in Communications (no, really) from Boston University’s College of Communications.

39) I collect superhero Minimates (they look Lego-ish). I have somewhere around two thousand. They are displayed in a number of cabinets built by my dad.

40) My podcast was inspired by a talk by Kevin Smith (at San Diego Comic-Con) where he said anyone could make a podcast.

41) I have attended over twenty-five San Diego Comic-Cons.

42) I am related to Lorne Green of “Bonanza” fame.

43) My dad’s family came from Germany and my mom’s from Russia. In Germany, my family’s name was Rosenvasser, but it was changed to Rosewater when they came to the U.S.

44) There are so few Rosewaters in the United States, that if you meet a Rosewater odds are I’m related to them.

45) I have lived in five states (Mississippi, Ohio, Massachusetts, California, and Washington, in that order).

46) I have visited over thirty states for Magic.

47) I once met Jim Henson when I worked on a clip show that Kermit was on. The question I asked him was if Ernie and Bert were named after the characters from “It’s a Wonderful Life”. He said not consciously. Jim Henson is one of my idols and I feel so blessed to have met him. He died a few months later.

48) I met Stan Lee at Hascon. He is another of my idols that I feel so lucky to have met.

49) On “Roseanne”, I worked with Amy Sherman-Palladino (just Amy Sherman back then) and Chuck Lorre. She made “Gilmore Girls” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”. He made “Big Bang Theory” and “Two and a Half Men”. Amy was super sweet and we got along well. I don’t think Chuck liked me.

50) I am a super picky eater. For example, except for apples, I don’t eat fruit. I hate bananas with a passion.

51) I have been a game player since very young. My dad loves games and introduced them to me early in life.

52) I get the writing bug from my mom.

53) I used to collect lint in a giant jar. When I got married, Lora made me get rid of it. It was an impressive amount of lint.

54) I have a bad tendency to burn myself a lot. My family loves to make fun of it.

55) I own over fifty flannels. My favorites are from Japan because they are more colorful with their flannels. Normally I wear a large, but in Japanese sizes, I’m an extra large.

56) My favorite number is 254. I chose it when I was little.

Security Breach: Valentine's Day Headcanons! 💌

The Glamrocks & The DCA x Reader l SFW

I've never made a headcanons list before so bear with me, also yes I know I'm two days late

is baby

Has been looking forward to celebrate this holiday one day and is so happy he met you!!!

When he first heard of the holiday he was so excited for it and gossiped about it constantly with Chica

Asking for advice from several friends and even staff members, he was repeatedly told to just 'treat your partner,' so that's what he did!

Lots of hugs all DAY he is the best hugger in the Pizzaplex, and he's so warm. He will also be carrying you around everywhere bridal style if that doesn't bother you, he just loves physical touch

he's holding your hand the wholeeee time <3333

Freddy would offer to take you to dinner with him, but since he can't leave the Pizzaplex you would be going to one of the restaurants in the mall. He's an old fashion lover boy he loves the classic date style

He has the staff bots catering for both of you and they're all dressed up with cute bows

or if you don't want to eat out in one of the restaurants he would happily eat dinner with you in his room

Ofc he's traditional and brings the bouquet and a note card full of adorations for you <3333 ending it off with 'love you forever and ever'

and if you gift him flowers he will instantly make room for it on his dresser and try to preserve it for as long as possible, always looking at it during his days

and if you give him a note he'll be a gushy mess and give you so many hugs and kisses, and will keep the note forever (and keep the more to come) in a hidden box in the storage room. Can't have staff coming to throw something as important away!

now if you two aren't together already he's going to be a mess

gets you a plushie thatsohappenstobehimself because he thinks you would like it <3 it's special addition too for valentine's day with pink accents and when you squeeze it it says 'I love you bear-y much!'

literally one of her favorite holidays

not only is it pink but it's also about YOU, her favorite person

since the pizzaplex is covered with her favorite color she's already ecstatic, and would love to just wonder around with you to see all the decorations

She would offer to go to dinner with you but the twist is she's cooking

girl knows how to make anything you ask

AND you can help and it'll be fun and cute and she'll get so GUSHY the whole time

but you'll also probably end up making pizza

the pepperoni is heart shaped <33 and so is the pizza, and all the cooking supplies with be valentine's day themed with hearts and pink handles, and she'll have a pink apron that says 'please kiss the chef' or something like that, with a small quote on the pocket that says 'be mine' with a heart and an arrow through it

once you finish your dinner she'll have a selection of treats too, specifically chocolate themed

shopping, you both WILL be going shopping

she would want to do matching couple outfits, or just several outfits and take millions of pictures with you all over the pizzaplex

one of them with be you both sharing a pocky stick and then another with you both kissing and AHHH

chica would want something to match with you to wear all the time, maybe a bracelet or a necklace, maybe an earring, something to think of you while you're away

the date will probably end with you both baking whatever pastry you like, but there's a good chance it'll be chocolate cupcakes!

of course she'll have a handful of valentine cupcake decor for it, with hearts as the sprinkles and cute wrapping

you both can hand them out to the other animatronics as gifts and then go back to her room and cuddle :3

will be singing your hearts out too, most likely to ABBA while dancing around her room

it's got sleep over vibes and she'll give you some pink pajamas

Now if you give her a gift she'll read the card out loud all happy and smiley and pin it next to her mirror to see it every morning <3

she'll give you a plush at the very end of the night of herself, and since she's already pink the plush will have reds as accents instead of the greens, her earrings are heartssss. And when you squeeze the plush it says 'You stole a pizza my heart!'

This is becoming a trend as you can tell

Roxanne Wolf ˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗

isn't too excited on valentine's day, or at least acts like she isn't

she says it's too 'mushy' and the whole romantic aspect of it is just super overkill

but

when she says she's 'no romantic' but will be racing around the tracks leaving marks in shapes of hearts

she's spoiling you, will get you anything you want

already has flowers and a love letter, and as cool as she acts the love letter is actually really sappy and cute

also gives you a plush of herself

its got her green hair tip pink instead with pink claws, and when you squeeze it it says 'you make my heart race!'

won't even ask if she can take you on a date she already knows it's a yes, who could say no to her?

will however ask you what you want to be doing, not really sure herself. She may be confident but she has no idea what she's doing

now IF you two weren't together already and she was wanting to ask you out for Valentine's Day, it would be a struggle with her ego getting in the way, but HER having to ask? Come on she's Roxanne Wolf

But also at the same time everyone should be swooning over her, so there's no way you would say no

Right?

but then she realizes she's still cool, who gives a fuck, and will ask you out on a date

you both will be doing some gaming to bond over, ofc you will be doing Roxy's Raceway first, and she even lets you winnnnn

She even gives you your own personal medal

but after that you both will be at the arcades playing co-op games togetherrrrr

with all the tokens you've both won you both definitely are going to the Prize Counter

if you get anything Roxy related her tail is wagging but DON'T point it out

would rent one of those karaoke rooms to sing with you, trying to not show off in the process

it'll be ten times funnier though if you can't sing, you both won't be able to stop giggling

to end the day you both will go to her room and do each other's makeup while in each other's laps

You know that one meme of the two girls doing each other's makeup? It's that

Roxy will go over all the Valentine's Day cards she got from all her fans, and you can tell it's giving her such an ego boost by how happy she looks and the way she wags her tail

and you both get a good laugh at how wild some of them are too

Monty's similiar to Roxy in thinking Valentine's Day is a mushy holiday, why go all out with heart eyes at you, he already does that everyday

but, he kind of wants to do something for you when he sees how excited you are about it the week before

He's the type of guy that writes down every anniversary and has a plan and knows what to say and knows what he wants to do to surprise you but then the week it's there he forgets

And then feels really bad about it because he's a last minute planner

HOWEVER if it's your first Valentine's Day he's stressing for weeks

Never would he have thought he would care about this holiday, and by this much, but he does

He has to ask Freddy where he got his flowers because he's been trying to figure this shit out for ages

he doesn't know what he's doing but he's gonna act like he knows what he's doing

won't ask you directly at first if you want to have a date but instead throw a show for you instead, at his own stage at the golf course

and then after that offer to golf with you

while not directly asking you to be his valentine

But he let's you win a few games too

then coughs grabs the flowers he got for you, along with a plush of himself. And also your own golf club with your favorite colors and his signature on it with a heart, he says its not a heart though it's just a random scribble he did on accident

DON'T LAUGH AT IT he's already not great at this sentimental stuff but he's trying!

the plush also is special addition with a pink mohawk and pink shoulder pads and when you squeeze it it says 'you rock my world!'

will be hanging out with you for the rest of the day, mostly asking you what you want to do, secretly wanting to have a dinner but not saying it

maybe next year

seeing you this happy makes him want to go all out next year, so long as he remebers

ends the night with you two in his room and, now that he's more comfortable and confident with how the day went is singing sweet nothings to you while you both cuddle

And if you give him a card oh man. He's oddly silent at first which worries you, but he quickly tries to hide the grin he has and hides his head, looking away as he wraps an arm around you

He keeps it hidden in the storage room behind his green room along with the items he's collected from you, safe and secure to make sure it never gets damaged

oh yeah he's definitely going all out next year

Glamrock Bonnie ˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗

he's a flirt

would def want to just do regular activities with you, but WILL be taking one of the karaoke rooms for you both to sing your hearts out

isn't copying Roxy they both had the same idea and will see each other and Roxy WILL be talking to him later about how he's a copy cat

and of course bowling, you two HAVE to do that

mf will try and get you flustered while acting oblivious, he'll try and show you how to bowl and caress his hands over yours

man's wanting to shop too, trying on outfits with you is such a fun experience

just everything he wants to do everything with you, it doesn't matter

does have a small dinner planned and will eat in Bonnie Bowl with you

you both will be getting ice cream served as well

also that personal stage of his, he's singing sweet songs to you

he's sitting with his legs over the stage and a guitar in his lap and he's just a smooth talker he KNOWS what to say to make you flustered and red

his flowers aren't as over the top as others, with just a smaller and simpler bouquet, but he gets the flowers you like

along with chocolate that aren't valentine's day themed but easter themed

no reason why, he just likes the shape of them

Now if you give him a card he's secretly trying to not stomp his feet in excitement, reading it loudly for others to hear and embarrass you, even if he's turning pink from it

the plush he gives you has him in a pink outfit, and when you squeeze it says 'you make my heart leap!'

The Daycare Attendant Sun ˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗

sun makes you

so many crafts you don't understand

wasn't able to get flowers but DOES make some craft flowers for you in one giant bouquet, full of your favorite flowers

and if you give them flowers Sun will keep it in their room, before finally deciding to scrap book them by pressing them forever

and the card they give you is so intricate hand-made card for you too, with glitter and hearts and even paper cut outs that pop out when you open it!

of course sun would have a million scrap books, several all about their favorite and only valentine <3

you both will most likely spend your day in the daycare since they aren't exactly allowed to leave

you both will be making valentine's day themed crafts but also take TONS of pictures for their scrap book (and you can even make your own scrapbook too to take home)

will venture out to the theatre however to put on a few funny shows and even listen to the staff bot, just for sun to complain about how this isn't COMEDY

sun will eventually just take over and make their own show just for YOU and it'll be the funniest shit

will give you the biggest plush they could find of themselves, to then realize there's no valentine's day special edition with the big sizes, so they grab you a second smaller one instead to go along with the big one

instead of the yellow it's pink, and when you squeeze it it says 'You brighten my day, Sunshine!'

both sun's and moon's plushies cupid themed with a bow and heart arrow since they both can "fly"

The Daycare Attendant Moon ˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗

breakfast in bed :3

isn't as into valentine's day as Sun but that's maybe because they never really receive a lot of cards that day

but when they do Moon just shines so bright and will read the cards they get to you

now since things have to be dark to spend valentine's day with them you both make it work!

movie night and cuddles, the wholeeeee day

you both have the entire theater to yourselves

although the DCA doesn't do theatre anymore they have saved videos of pervious shows that they show you

and if YOU give them a card it will go straight to their heart and will have it pinned up in a private area just for them to look at

will crawl away and come back with some handmade gifts, with flowers of course of course

and a plushie that has a red outfit instead of the blue, and when you squeeze it it says 'i love you to the moon and back' sobbing

and, if you can convince them, you both can go through the VIP exit and stargaze together

and once you've gone back to work you will find several love cards hidden all around your work area that they hid the night before

it takes you FOREVER to find them all, ranging from your desk to your locker

aaron normally doesn’t mind bau chatter.

though his office door often remains closed, he honestly enjoys the rare moments that loud laughter echoes from outside. for the team’s line of work, finding times like these frankly kept everyone sane.

today was the one time the sounds from the bullpen seemed to translate to nails on a chalkboard.

valentine’s day quickly turned into one of aaron’s least favorite holidays. he hated the pressure. he hated the materialism. he hated the fact that so much emphasis was put on showing love on one single day. shouldn’t you love your partner all the time? and most of all, though embarrassing to admit, he hated the loneliness of it all.

everyone around him seemed to already have plans.

rossi was going to some bars with friends, derek had a date, j.j. and will were staying in with henry, penelope and emily seemed very excited about the new bottle of wine they planned to share, and even spencer was off somewhere in the city to see a play.

you seemed to be the only one who wasn’t boasting about your plans. whether you wanted to keep them a secret or simply weren’t comfortable sharing - no one had heard any details from you.

“hey princess,” morgan calls from his desk.

you glance up from your file to see morgan hold up a conversation heart. penelope had left boxes of them on everyone’s desk in the morning. it was clear the tech analyst loved any excuse to show her adoration for her friends. “be mine?” he read from the cheesy printed message.

“don’t you have a date tonight?” you reject his clearly teasing proposal though you do accept the candy. you pop it in your mouth and smile gently at the sweet jolt of sugar.

“maybe,” he starts. his grin tells you all you need to know about his plans. “what about you? any mystery partner taking you out? give you a night full of romance and flowers?”

morgan’s left his chair by now, taking a seat on the edge of your desk and wrapping an arm around your shoulder.

“nope. just going to spend the night in,” you shrug.

“whatever you say, princess.”

“if you want, the offer is still there to join us,” emily offers. you smile gratefully and shake your head. “i’m alright, em. thank you though.”

morgan finds his next target, this time in the form of your boss who had just exited his office.

“what about you, hotch?” he questions. “got anyone to be yours?”

hotch shakes his head. “not this time. not a fan of valentine’s day either.”

his explanation is short lived. he hadn’t even stopped to answer the question, choosing to rather keep walking and exit the bullpen to complete his work.

you seemed to be the only one impacted by his answer. everyone else was having small conversations among themselves while morgan simply shrugged and went back to what he was doing. it hurt knowing that no one was surprised at his lack of plans.

you wait until the bullpen is cleared of both your team and other agents before you head up to hotch’s office. unsurprisingly, he’s working late. you knock on the doorway twice before entering.

“still working?” you tease lightly. “thought you would’ve used the holiday as an excuse to leave early.”

realistically, you both know he wouldn’t.

“jack’s with jessica and her boyfriend for tonight and i wanted to finish this up. i’m almost done.”

you look down at the carpeted floor. your hands interlocked behind your back and you rub your palm to hide your nervousness. “so you’re free then? maybe for dinner?”

aaron’s head snaps up embarrassingly quick. he ignores the way his heart seems to flip from your five simple words. he hasn’t felt this feeling in a long time.

when he doesn’t answer right away, you fear you’ve crossed a line. he’s your boss for gods sake.

“i just meant that i would really hate to see you alone tonight and especially with staying here. i know you stay late a lot and i think it would help to at least go home early and-” you backtrack into justifying your question. maybe you could still save yourself by simplifying it down to looking out for a friend.

“y/n, y/n,” aaron pushes back his chair to stand up. the second he utters your name, you close your mouth. he circles his desk to lean against the front. “you want to go to dinner with me?”

his voice carries genuine surprise. he never would have thought that someone like you would be interested in someone like him.

you finally raise your head, eyes meeting his with your face flushed. you can’t hide your shy smile.

“i really want to spend valentine’s day with someone i like.”

if aaron’s heart hadn’t fully flipped, it did without a did now. he smiles, a semi-rare occurrence that lives in your mind for days after it happens.

“good,” aaron beamed. “i do too.”
