So calm and quiet, toned down and cool in a way that pacifies everything around him. Green suits him in the way it suits a pine forest; peaceful and serene but so full of life bristling in every detail of it. To the eye, he is cool and collected and the presence that calms everyone else, but within that, he is complex and there is so much life hidden beneath the underbrush.

Tamarillo

This color radiates energy; toned down, but certainly energized beneath that exterior. Dark, but not threatening in a way that’s inviting instead of repelling. The color of passion and stage lights and power. The warmth of red paired with the dimmed aspect embodies him: chill, but ready to reveal the energy coursing through him at any moment.

Sakusa Kiyoomi

Lemon Chiffon

Soft and clean. Certainly closed off or isolated and often firm and impenetrable, stern yet somehow simultaneously (and almost unnoticeably) gentle. A warm vintage aspect that makes him seem mature, as if he had lived dozens of lives in one, yet fresh and young. A color of conflicting duality that shouldn’t make sense yet somehow does, because he manages to pull together these differences into something uniquely him.

akaashi keiji is someone you’re more used to seeing dressed in beige tones and plaid patterns, scarves and sweaters over trench coats with large pockets that he enjoys tucking your hands in. so seeing him in the summer, in cool, dark-ish tones of t-shirts and shorts, have always been something humorous to witness. keiji’s pretty features are always mildly annoyed, but the softness in the depth of his eyes, the way he puts the slightest bit of pressure into the grasps of your entwined hands, betrays the amusement he has from you teasing him about how unsuited he is for summer. that is, until you bring up going to the beach with bokuto and wanting to see keiji in brightly patterned beach shirts.

Akaashi Keiji who’s so in tune with your emotions, that he sees it coming before it even happens, that you’re going to crash. The first time it happened, he watched you closely and seeking out your responses to different approaches. He learned almost instantly if an approach was going to help you or not. He learned and adapted so quickly, that it looked like he just knew right away how to handle the new situation from the get go. He reminds you that you’re precious to him. That he loves you. He kisses the inside of your wrist and knows when to beckon you to slump against him, and when to let you have your space. He never leaves you alone though. Akaashi who uses his words, his touch and his presence to soothe you and to keep tuning in on your needs. You might think that it’s be exhausting, but for him it was second nature and he never found it to be a burden, which he gladly reminds you again and again.

note: hi. (^０^)ノthis is my first attempt at writing a “story” (or one of my first attempts at writing overall), also english is not my first language, so pls don`t come for me (highly doubt anyone will read this, anyways, heh). also, i think i want to continue the story and see where it goes, so this is possible a part one. anyways, have a nice day! <333

you straighten yourself up for what seems like the tenth time, pull yourself together, and walk inside the coffee shop.

you stand beside the door and take in the surroundings. it`s quiet and not too crowded. just how you like it.

you feel the insides of your palms start to sweat. your nerves are warming up for their usual grand appearance, you thought. the fight-or-flight response. they do this almost every time you`re out by yourself.

“you need to venture a little outside of your comfort zone. besides, this is what you`ve been planning to do for weeks, right?”, you remind yourself. the pitter-patter sound of rain falling outside the shop blocked out any attempt of overthinking.

almost speed walking a little, you finally walk up to the cashier to place your order. this time you decided you wanted to be a bit bolder and choose something out of the ordinary.

after weighing your options for a few too many seconds, you’ve decided. this time, it’s gonna be the matcha vanilla ice latte (but with lactose-free milk, of course. you did not come to this cute coffee shop only to leave with an upset stomach). after placing your order, you step aside as the barista greets the person behind you.

you`re occupied with your thoughts and trying to not seem like the nervous mess that you are. as you are waiting for your drink, you hear a voice coming from beside you. “you made a good choice. you won’t regret buying that.”

you turn to your left, where the voice came from, and it suddenly felt like time stood still.

wow, he`s gorgeous, you thought to yourself.

quickly, regaining focus, you lower your gaze, bringing just a touch of a sheepish smile to the corners of your lips. “that’s a relief. if I had a dollar for every time I tried a new drink and did not like it, I wouldn’t exactly be a millionaire, but I would be closer than I am now.”

you turn your face slighly to the side, to hide the sign of blood rushing to your cheeks out of embarassment. oh, how you wish you could simply disappear.

you`re interrupted and dragged back into reality by the sound of a chuckle coming from in front of you. you turn to look back at the boy from just a few seconds ago and notice that he`s laughing. at you.

you made him laugh.

you made the pretty, stranger boy laugh.

it’s a quiet night in the shared house of you and your husband. the warm sun has just descended down the horizon, lighting up the night sky with a bright moon and shining stars.

you lay in your large bed, trying to steady your breathing and close your eyes, but to no avail. you rustle in your sheets every few minutes, unable to shake off the unbearable question that’s been fleeting your mind, unsure of how and when to ask it.

akaashi is sat up in your bed, back propped up by a pillow and legs covered by your linen duvet. he’s reading his latest book, hands holding the spine ever so gently when he turns the pages with a lick of his thumb. the bedside lamp illuminates the dark room, cascading onto his face with a golden light. it’s only 8:00, and your husband looks just as beautiful as he always does.

there’s a thought that’s been eating away at your brain, and you really didn’t know how much longer you could take it. you just wanted to feel him, as close as you possibly could, which is what led you to open your mouth and start speaking.

“ keiji. ”

his ears perk up at the sound of your voice, eyes still focused on the book when he responds.

“ yes ? ”

how should you say it ? would it sound too straight forward ? what if it made him uncomfortable or…

“ take off your shirt. ”

oh. well that’s not what you were supposed to say.

“ oh ? ” is what keiji remarks, head now turned to you with his glasses hung low.

“ i mean— um… nevermind. ” you sigh in defeat, crinkling the covers by your nose to hide yourself from his curious gaze.

“ what’s the matter, sweetheart ? something bothering you ? ” he questions ever so politely. if only you could describe what exactly you were trying to ask.

“ no keiji… i just… wanna feel you. please ? ”

akaashi looks at you for just a moment, probably trying to understand exactly what you wanted. but this is your husband, the kind hearted, notable keiji akaashi. so of course, without another question, he removes his white t-shirt with not so much as a second thought.

you’re unsure of your next move, taking in the appearance of your husband. his lean figure lays before you with open arms, and the soft abs on his stomach relax with every breath he takes.

your fingers dance at the hemline of your own shirt, pinching it between your fingers as you dwindle on what to do next.

“ my love. ”

you’re shaken out of your reoccurring thoughts when keiji calls out to you, reaching toward you to beckon you closer. his nimble fingers smooth along the slightly exposed skin of your stomach, hand reaching underneath to lay on your hip. his fingers travel up and up, lifting your shirt slightly. he stops for a brief moment, eyes meeting yours when he asks,

“ do you want this off ? ”

it only takes a nod of your head for keiji to lift your shirt by the hem, removing it and exposing your naked skin. your eyes darted away from his, either from shyness or embarrassment, you weren’t sure.

“ come here, it’s alright. what are you shying away from ? ”

keiji moves you until you’re on his lap, bare chests pressed together in sheer silence. your shoulders relax, a content sigh releasing from your mouth. you can feel his heart pump against your own, hearing it in your eardrums at every beat.

his tender touches from his fingers tingle when he slides them against your spine, holding you ever so closely. his book is long forgotten, sitting on the nightstand with a neatly tucked bookmark on his previous page. his glasses lay atop the bridge of his nose, small red indents from where they used to rest on his eyes. he’s so soft, so gentle that it has you ready to almost doze off.

“ i love you, keiji… ” you whisper, drowsiness evident in the soft spoken words you relay to your husband.

keiji hums as he continues to stroke your back, “ mm, of course… it’s because i have my shirt off, isn’t it ? ”

“ keiji ! ” you suddenly say with a gasp, softly shoving his arm in feigned offence. he chuckles under his breath, continuing with his featherlight touches as you lay with him, skin to skin.

“ i love you more, my love. ”

t.kageyama⸝⸝ ♡ Definitely winter is his favorite season, when you are his girlfriend he will definitely want to do some winter activities with you, such as walking around the city with a nice composition of Christmas lights. building a snowman in his yard. Throwing snowballs at each other and taking you to a nice cafe for hot chocolate.

k.tsukishima⸝⸝ ♡ We all know by now that Tsuki likes music, I'm sure he would share his headphones with you so you could listen to music together at school. When you're at his place, you just spend time with him, while he's doing his homework and you're hugging his dinosaur-shaped stuffed animal, and there's some music playing in the background. He made a playlist for you, but at first he was embarrassed to show it to you, there were songs he associated with you.

t.yamaguchi⸝⸝ ♡ During the lesson, when he gets tired of listening to the teacher, he will start drawing cute hearts and flowers in the corners of your notebook with colored pens, and if you let him, he will draw a whole meadow on your hand. a.miya⸝⸝ ♡ Listen, I imagine Atsumu calling you very early in the morning to go to the beach with him. He will definitely take a few photos of you in your swimsuit, but most of all you will have a great time together, sunbathing or swimming, he will pretend to be a shark that wants to eat you so that you run away from him. When the sun is not so bright anymore, he will play beach volleyball with you, laughing when something goes wrong, but then he will teach you, he promise.

o.miya⸝⸝ ♡ He will invite you to his kitchen so that you can bake or cook something together and have great fun. So what if there's flour everywhere or something spilled on the floor, you'll clean it up later and now Osamu is busy kissing you while you wait for the dough to be made.

k.bokuto⸝⸝ ♡ If you stayed overnight at his place, don't think you'll sleep late if you wake up easily, because he'll start doing his morning stretches, doing push-ups, and encouraging you to sit on his back. He will sometimes ask you to join him, but you have barely woken up, but if you join him and stretch together, you must know that he will slow down on purpose so that you can keep up, he will be very happy.

a.akaashi⸝⸝ ♡ This sweet boy will read books to you but he will also be more than willing to listen to your voice if you read to him. He likes it when you lie on his lap and play a game while he rests the book on your head and you sit in comfortable silence.

k.sakusa⸝⸝ ♡ It's no surprise that this guy takes great care of himself and is glad that you do too. His favorite activity is when you spend the night at his place and do your skin care together, he likes it when you put a mask on his face and massage him gently.

✫ AKAASHI likes to put one hand on your cheek, the other on your waist when kissing you. it’s mostly so he can guide his lips to yours, but you notice how his hand finds your cheek often. even when he’s holding you before you go to bed, he’ll pull you close and cradle your cheek, rubbing soothing circles into the skin with his thumb. it's his telltale sign of when he wants to kiss you — he'll rub his thumb along your skin before asking if he can kiss you. and sometimes, when you're simply rambling about whatever's on your mind, he'll graze his thumb along your cheek. it's a cute habit, really, and one you find so much comfort in.

✫ SUNA places his hands on your neck when he kisses you. he’s always so gentle, bringing you closer with your jaw, and softly pressing his lips against yours. his hands fall to lay on your collarbones and tickle the skin of your neck. when he isn’t kissing you, his hands are often hanging around your waist — he’s always pulling you close for comfort, and you know exactly what that pull on your belt loop means. despite his bold actions, he's always so careful with you. and when his hands touch your bare waist, suna can never stop himself from tracing shapes into your skin just so he can feel your warmth a little longer.

✫ OIKAWA holds the back of your head when kissing you, his other hand often at your side to hold you close to him. his kisses are dreamlike, and he makes you feel so safe when he's holding you against him. otherwise, his hands are always at your sides. he's mischievous and clingy, which leads to him tickling your sides for a reaction. and when you're out with him, tooru slides his arm around your waist, his fingers tapping along your body as a reminder that he's there.

✫ ATSUMU lets his hands wander as he kisses you. he can never keep his hands in one place, which means your kisses are almost never chaste. because when atsumu kisses you once, he'll kiss you again, tugging you forward with his hand on your lower back, and again with his hands moving lower. they leave a warm trail behind them, as if they're setting off little fires in your skin. he's passionate, even when he's simply holding your hand, rubbing his thumb along the back of your hand.

✫ OSAMU places his hand on your lower back when kissing you. his kisses are casual, quick, yet oddly captivating. the way he pulls you in, clasping his hands around your lower back, is almost hypnotizing — the only thing on your mind is him, his lips, and those pretty eyes (and he can say the same about you). when he isn't kissing you, osamu isn't the most touchy guy. instead, his ears burn almost embarrassingly hot when you link your arm with his. he'll always tug you closer, wanting to feel more and more of you.

✫ KITA intertwines his hand with yours when kissing you. at times, kissing you is so overwhelming — it sends inexplicable sensations throughout his body. so, rubbing his fingers along yours helps ground him. kita likes when you cuddle on his lap, and his hands, although a bit calloused, will always rub along your thighs. he thinks of it as an innocent touch, one that warms and soothes you, but other times, the intention is quite different, especially when paired with teasing whispers in your ear.

it's suna's favorite thing to do after practice - napping, with you <3

you were on top of him when he stirred awake

"hey baby, you awake?" you asked, smiling as suna tried to blink the sleep away from his golden eyes. a lazy grin made his way to his face.

"you gonna get off? i can't breathe." he was just teasing you; he knew that you knew that he liked you on him, he liked the way you felt on him.

"oh, i just wanted to lay with my pretty boy but my bad." you had gotten off of him by this point with your back to him, a shit-eating grin on your face as he processed your statement.

you moved a bit farther but suna's hand shot out to grab your wrist and pull you in. you were standing in between his legs, your back pressed into his face as he wrapped his arms around your torso.

"say that again for me?"

you'd just returned from work when you saw him

akaashi, with an apron, cooking dinner

it was his day off but he's been really busy lately so you assumed you'd order food today

"babe, are you cooking?" you asked, stepping in to the kitchen following the aroma of homemade food. akaashi stopped stirring the pot, turning to look at you.

"hey sweetheart. yeah, i feel bad for being so busy lately, thought i could make it up to you?" he gives you that million-dollar smile, the one that's only reserved for you and you can feel your heart melt.

"of course, you know i'd never hold your work against you." pouting, you slide up next to him, peering into the pot to see what's cooking.

"smell nice?"

"everything you cook smells nice, pretty boy." you hadn't even realized it slipped out and you were already taste-testing the food.

"sweetheart?" you looked to akaashi, his ears and cheeks tinged red as a shy smile took over. it was then when you put two and two together to understand what happened.

"are you getting shy because i called you pretty?" your tone was a little incredulous because you're sure you compliment a lot but obviously not enough.

"you're my pretty boy, keiji. my lovely, pretty boy."

MIYA ATSUMU

it was the end of a match and of course he won

you were so proud though :')

you rolled your eyes as you wove your way through the crowd. you could imagine his smug grin, but you couldn't wait to see it yourself.

he spotted you and waved you over, the action letting other people know you were coming and parted for you. you smiled as you ran towards him, wearing his jersey.

"that's my pretty boy!" you shout, engulfing him in a hug. you wrapped your arms around him, and he was a bit frozen. noticing he wasn't reciprocating, you leaned back to see his face.

"what happened baby?" you asked, concern washed over your features. his ears were red as he dropped his head onto your shoulder.

"can ya call me that again?"

"call you what?"

"can ya call me yer pretty boy?" your face broke out into a grin as he whispered the request. the blush across his face deepened and he was glad that you couldn't see it.

"of course, my pretty boy. the prettiest."

when he re-enters your bedroom with soup in one hand and a mug of tea in the other, he’s greeted with a disturbingly loud coughing fit, coupled with a distressed face and weary eyes. in an instant, he rushes to your side, urging you to sit up and drink some of your tea. reluctantly, you oblige.

this time, akaashi can’t help but frown at your stubbornness.

“i can handle myself,” you complain in a raspy voice, each syllable coated with exhaustion. “i’ve always handled this by myself.”

instead of arguing, he only smiles. “i know. i’m just by your side this time.”

Bokuto and Tsukishima actually text each other quite often because it turns out they both like dinosaurs and other nature documentaries so they recommend stuff to each other and comment on what they liked

Oikawa and iwaizumi don’t have a secret handshake but they’ve convinced everyone they do and enjoy watching the rest of the team go crazy trying to figure out what it is

Daichi thought that he’d be getting the most trouble from Tanaka or noya when he became a cop but actually the biggest troublemaker was suga

Atsumu and osamu text each other every day even if they know they’re gonna see each other soon because they can’t imagine not immediately sharing news with their twin

☆ tutor!akaashi who finds himself falling for you. As spring break is coming up soon which means no more tutoring sessions, he asks you out on a date. No tutoring this time. He takes you to a park where he prepared a picnic for the both of you (boy knows how to cook). It totally didn’t get crashed by bokuto, kuroo, and kenmaaa nooo
