just sitting here thinking about how incredible kakashi was as a leader even though most people seem to think he was like a placeholder hokage until naruto took over
(spoilers for kakashi retsuden incoming)
listen okay he was hokage for at least 12 years and in that time he not only helped konoha to insanely technologically advance, teamed up with sakura to create a children's mental health clinic but also had time and dedication to develop jutsu that can overpower the element they're weak to
based on the novel, we know for certain that he created a fire jutsu that overpowered a ridiculously strong water jutsu and that he developed a way to make an earth wall resistant to lightning by turning the point of contact into crystal (it's also indicated that he's one of the only people with good enough control to do it)
without the sharingan sapping his chakra and training throughout his entire hokage tenure he also had enough power to hold up an earth wall thick enough to stop cannon fire around an entire village for two straight days
and after all that, he brought down a whole hoarde of hired shinobi non-lethally
kakashi never wanted to be hokage, he didn't think he was worthy of that title, but took it on because his comrades needed him to and believed in him
he dedicated himself to the position and made so much positive change for konoha and for the bonds they forged during the fourth war
people who think kakashi was just a nothing hokage warming the seat for naruto completely misunderstand who he is fundamentally as a person and as a shinobi

okay so in my mind there are two ways this could go
either ur parents are scared shitless bc of him or they absolutely adore him
They’re real scared if your parents live in the Hewn City and have only seen Rhysand’s bad side, you know, when he was with Amarantha and just seemed like a real jerk overall
The part where they adore him would come into play if your parents lived in Velaris and witnessed Rhysand's true self, not the facade he presents to his court, but the genuine person behind the mask
I think he would act very nonchalant and act like its a casual thing meeting your parents but he is shitting himself behind the facades
He's just really eager for your parents to like him, so he ends up accidentally over-complimenting your mom, which might make your dad a bit irked.
“Mrs. L/N, your beauty is as radiant as the stars. And your cooking is absolutely divine,” he has a hand on his heart, his famous smirk playing on his lips
“Aw, thank you so very much Rhysand, how very kind of you. I’m glad you like it!” your mom beams at him sweetly

it’s kind like rhysand’s situation, your parents score is based on how much they know about him
okay, so if ur parents know he’s the scary night court torturer and spymaster who does dangerous things for his work, he might not be very well liked. not only that but they would be genuinely worried and very scared
but if they only know he works for the high lord, i believe the chance of liking him is big
I think azriel’s calm aura when he’s with you makes him very likeable and trustworthy
Your parents see how much he cares for you, the little things he does for you and they approve

Azriel is actually so fucking nervous, he stalks your parents before meeting them. He knows what your dad likes and he knows what your mom likes. Azriel brings their interests up casually in conversations and see how their faces light up

a part two to my possessive vs. protective bokuto that took me absolute ages because i can see bokuto handling that situation in so many ways???
anyways here’s part two to that specific scenario
bokuto makes his way down the few stairs the private table had been up on and enters the crowd of drunk, dancing people. he adjusts his pushed up sleeves, which emphasize his large arms.
he keeps his eyes on the interaction. watching as you turned back to the man, staring at him as if the man wasn’t a foot and a half taller than you, and beginning to say something.
bokuto knew from your body language, from the facial expressions you were making that the man was getting an earful. he continued his walk over, the sea of people parting for him. he never needs to weave in and out of crowds. his broad, muscled shoulders and the aura surrounding himself makes people part a path for him.
the confidence he carries himself with speaks loud enough.
bokuto is a smart man. he knows there’s so many ways he could play this. he knows he could walk up and cause a scene, cause a fight, maybe throw a few punches, but he also knows that would upset you. regardless of how much the man was irritating you.
bokuto is a smart man. he still believes you’re capable no matter the situation, and hopes to support you in any way.
as he comes up to the bar, he begins to hear you. “you need to learn when to take the loss and move on,” you began.
the man interrupted you, “it’s not a loss babe, you’re still here talking to me.” the man smirked as he leaned on the bar.
“you’re literally cornering me into the bar, i can’t get by!”
“looks like you’ll have to-“
bokuto slowed his walk and put on his best ‘this is my partner and your bothering them and i will fuck you up if you don’t leave’ smile on. “is everything okay? do you need any help carrying the drinks baby?” he looked between you and the man.
you whirled your head around to look at bokuto who stood there, hand casually in his pocket. the man looked between you and bokuto as well and smirked. the man himself was about half a foot taller than bokuto but this didn’t deter your boyfriend as he stuck out his hand and introduced himself. “the names bokuto.”
instead of shaking his hand, the man reached around and placed his arm around your waist. “listen, bokuto, me and this pretty thing here were just about to head out actually.”
your face dropped, “like hell we were!”
bokuto tipped his head to the side and eyed the man’s arm. his eyebrows slowly rose as his hand dropped back to his pocket. with a deadly calm that was so not bokuto, he spoke low and slow as he took one single step closer to the man. “i suggest if you want to keep working function of your hand, to take your hands off my partner.”
it didn’t matter that the man was taller, bokuto was built larger and broader. his years of intense professional training clear in this situation. every way he held himself screamed deadly.
the man’s smirk faltered as he looked eye to eye at bokuto’s dead stare and you took that as a chance to shove his arm off, and grabbed the drinks you had been waiting for.
as you turned around, bokuto’s soft smile returned to his face as he spoke to you. “let me grab that for you, kenma’s waiting for you back at the table. i got the drinks, yeah?” you nodded as you touched his arm and spoke a quiet thank you.
bokuto’s eyes followed you your entire way back to the table. as you sat down beside kenma, bokuto’s eyes flickered to kuroo who gave him a quick nod, confirming you were safe and you were okay.
bokuto was much smarter than people gave him credit for. he looked back to the man. “i don’t want to see you near my partner or any of my friends again. understood?”
the man put his hands up in a defeating gesture. “listen man-“
“if i ever see your face again, i will be the last thing you see. are we clear?”
the man gulped and nodded.
“good.”
the man turned and immediately went to his own friend group to usher them out. bokuto carried the drinks back to the table, placing that sweet goofy smile back on his face as he placed a quick kiss to your forehead before delivering the drinks.
bokuto would never step on your toes for something you could handle. but bokuto would also go to the moon for you if you asked.

I said it a thousand times and I will say it again: Gojo ALWAYS answers the phone when his wife or his children are calling him.
It doesn’t matter if he’s busy and it doesn’t matter what y’all want! If his daughter is calling him while he’s in the middle of fighting a curse because she wants to tell him about her favorite Backyardigans episode, HE’S ANSWERING AND LISTENING.
If you’re calling him while he’s face to face with a villain because you weren’t sure if he wanted chicken thighs or chicken breasts for dinner, he’s cutting off that villain’s monologue by answering the phone call and discussing dinner plans with you.
