modern asoiaf extracurriculars (but americanized bc ya girl doesn't wanna research british stuff)

arya plays on the girls rubgy team. she started the team herself because she wasn't allowed to play on the middle school football team. meant to parallel ned getting her into waterdancing when traditional westerosi swordfighting wasn't allowed

sansa is a soprano in the school chorus. cersei is her chorus teacher that used to be the school's big soloist when she was a student but now transfer student margaery tyrell is the lead vocalist who came with a letter of rec from principal bobby b

jon is in the school JROTC. signed up because his uncle did it and later joined the military. forced to stay in it after getting caught by the school security guards trying to visit his brother Robb who's the same age but a grade older and already in college. catelyn either got robb to skip a grade or jon held back bc she's that crazy pta mom

robb is a college freshman but still lives at home with cat and ned to save money (the starks are rich but feel like robb needs to be a man and pay his own way or soemthing). met his girlfriend jeyne in their intro the business class and had a brief pregnancy scare leading to an engagement 8 weeks into the semester (#ringbyspring baby)

bran used to think he was gonna grow up and be a pro football player (football is the modern knighthood in my AU apparently) but jamie the football coach/health teacher pushed him off the bleachers and broke his legs (rip)

rickon just got diagnosed with ADHD and claims shaggydog is his emotional support animal so he's the super popular kid in elementary school with a giant wolf dog at recess. all the staff hate him except his teaching aid osha

theon lives in the stark basement and tries to deal shitty weed at the kids' high school after he dropped out of college one semester in (he was a peace war and defense major, and yes before you ask that was a real major at my college)

random things i think asoiaf characters would do at school in a modern!au

theon: probably one of the worst people in his class. manspreads obnoxiously, gets people distracted and laughing, and has undiagnosed ADHD so he doesn’t know what is going on at all times. mrs. catelyn stark gets pissed and in the new seating chart puts him next to jeyne poole for him to get his shit together. he doesn’t. he even manages to rope jeyne into some of his antics. he has not shown up to school once in anything but pajamas, even on the first day, and has one notebook and one folder. that’s all. always is asking people for answers and gets into major beef with jon because jon purposely gave him the wrong kahoot answers. brings a “water bottle” to school but there’s just vodka in it. shadow boxes. stinky

jeyne: the sweetest person you could be sat next to. she’s super prepared for school and has 20 different folders arranged by color, her locker is decorated with a bunch of mini furniture and fairy lights, and she always has perfume and pads and stuff for all of her girlfriends. however she does look a bit odd sometimes because her hair just sticks out in all directions in every hairstyle she does. she always forgets to put on her retainer and tells theon to remind her. he forgets about it too

dany: is always bringing her three kittens (drogon, rhaegal, and viserion) to school. chews gum a lot so her breath is overwhelmingly minty when she comes within 6 ft of someone. in study hall when she has nothing to do she creates braid trains with sansa (poor missandei’s at the elementary school across the street). rides her bike to school on the first day and it is immediately stolen. always is dropping her hydroflask on the floor and it makes a really loud noise that teachers yell at her for. you can’t even see what color her water bottle is because of how many stickers there are on it

sansa: does her makeup in class and does not care. cries hysterically during math class (real) but always says it’s her “allergies”. does cartwheels in the hallways ???? eats a whole box of fig newtons in class while she’s on her period and proceeds to say that it’s healthy because there’s fruit in it. always has the prettiest acrylics and loves getting her nails done!!! she’s crashed her car trying to park in the school parking lot 3 times

jon: emo emo emo emo. never has his chromebook charged and gets screamed at for it. he smells like chlorine because he always goes to swim practice at like 4 am before school. draws a lot but especially draws ugly alliser thorne art and then leaves it on thorne’s desk after class ends. people ask him how his eyelashes are so long and he acts like he doesn’t know but he wears mascara. is in the robotics club with sam. never makes it to the bus stop in time and then complains when bus driver lysa arryn gets pissed off at him for it. the 9th grader of all time

margaery: has really bad RBF and is so popular that people are intimidated by her but she’s actually really nice. she’s a cheerleader and her brother is the quarterback. always has the prettiest notes with designs and drawings and stuff 😭 in every other class she’s smart but she does not understand physics at all. yells a lot in gym class??? not at people she just yells. also does gymnastics moves in the hallways for no reason

- HAIKYUU AND TOKYO REV R THE SAME ANIME BUT DIFF GENRES ‼️‼️‼️

- listen Baji playing volleyball/being with Karasuno…it suits him too well

- plus the Haitani brothers as the Miya twins 😳😳

- Mitsuya is literally Sugawara like come on

- idk y but I see Shion as Terushima

- Kazutora and Inui would be on Nekomata

- Senju and Takeomi r Daenerys and Viserys from Game of Thrones Oop- 🤷‍♀️

- would make it even spicier if Sanzu is Jon Snow but he’s very much Theon instead 🫣🫣

- tbh all of Brahman would suit Daenerys’ circle

- Kisaki is Littlefinger HOLY SHIT

- Shinchiro is so Robb Stark oh god

- Izana would lowkey be Margaery Tyrell

- Taiju and Hakkai r the Clegane brothers

- tbh I could also see Mikey and Senju as Jaime and Brienne like they very much have beauty and the beast vibes that if Wakui could write romance they would’ve been a good choice together (still a Sanzu and Mikey shipper LOL)

Kinda surprised there aren’t more Bnha and Tokyo Rev crossovers but here r some ideas:

- Himiko is one of my favs and she suits the TR universe wayyyy too well

- sis would totally be besties with Hanma and maybe Shion and would have a crush on Takemichy and Hina

- tbh I could see her joining Tenjiku and everyone seeing her as their little sister like imagine Mochi and Mucho doting on her

- I JUST NEED SANZU, HIMIKO AND TWICE IN THE SAME ROOM TOGETHER LIKE SJSKSK

- they would totally annoy the Haitanis, Shigaraki, Dabi and Spinner together maybe Hawks too if they’re in the right mood

- Baji and Dabi wouldn’t get along but would set cars and Endeavour toys on fire together

- None of the TR characters would ever enter UA but if they did it they (Tenjiku let’s be honest) would bully everyone ESPECIALLY ALL MIGHT

-They would totally be hero haters/menaces and everyone would be lik: “y tf r all of u here then???” and TR cast would be lik: “for future connections?? Duh”

- MITSUYA WOULD BE IN SUPPORT CLASS AND IN PAIN ROASTING EVERYONES UGLY ASS COSTUMES (✨Todoroki✨) ESPECIALLY BEST JEANIST LIK HE DEF HAS A SPECIAL HATRED FOR HIM

- Ironically enough: Ran would be the one to defeat Stain by throwing a BRICK at him while Rindou breaks his legs in the background LMAOOO

- Ran, Mt Lady and Midnight in the same room….that’s it.

- Rindou would be cool with Jirou, Denki and Shinso. OMG HE WOULD SO BE AN ERASERHEAD STAN TOO SJKSKSKKS

- tbh all of Bonten would totally be the MLA (or investors) and would just be staring tiredly at the League of Villains as they take over their army

- u cannot tell me Skeptic, Koko, and Re Destro wouldn’t get along (capitalists unite 😤😤)

- on the other hand I love the idea of Mikey being quirkless but still being the strongest person in the room like Mikey would totally body Re Destro and Geten for being annoying/quirkist

- Izuku would 100% be in Toman

- Draken and Mikey r Honey and Mori from Ouran High School Host Club

- Izana and Kakucho r Aki and Angel from Chainsaw Man ‼️‼️

- definition of out of touch, out of time energy (I cannot see snowball fights the same bc of these characters smhhhh)

- Bonten in a Chainsaw Man AU ✨chefs kiss✨ it’s fits the vibe and they already wear suits LOL

- OG Black Dragons would be the Cowboy Bebop crew idk everyone in that group lowkey has the same energy/nihilistic vibes as the Bebop crew (again someone pls draw this I’m not talented enough-)

- Shin is Spike, Faye is Takeomi, Benkei is Jett and Waka is Ed LOLLL

- Revy from Black Lagoon would BODY everyone in Bonten no ifs and/or buts (let’s not even start w/Roberta)

- Revy and Takeomi would have a one night stand and regret it instantly but still contact each other whenever they’re in the same area for drinks

- Balalaika would laugh at Bonten and bully Mikey (she would still lowkey respect him bc he built himself up but bully him bc he has depression and Mikey won’t do anything bc he’s lowkey afraid of her LOL 💀💀)

- Izana and Mikey r Sesshomaru and Inuyasha prove me wrong 😤😤😤

- Akatsuki would TERRORIZE Bonten simply bc their an anti-violence organization and they’re petty like that

- But Itachi and Mikey would get along purely bc Itachi looks like Shin and Mikey reminds Itachi of Sasuke (especially w/black hair). Idk I imagine Bonten!Mikey kidnapping Itachi bc he’s part of Akatsuki and looks like Shin but instead of fighting Itachi chooses to take over Bonten…..by being a good older brother to everyone. And the fic ends with Akatsuki and Bonten just fighting over Itachi LMAO

- Kakashi, Shisui and Wakasa would be friends like Wakasa would 100% be in Anbu

- Killer Bee, Benkei and South would be friends. Like Bee and South having sing offs in the middle of fights LOL

- Ino would force Draken, Mitsuya and Chifuyu to be her friends

- Sasuke would join Bonten for revenge and hate everyone except Kakucho and Mochi. This man will 100% leave once he’s reached his goal

- Someone pls write a fanfic w/Bonten entering Squid Game. Like Koko entering Bonten in Squid Game for money or Sanzu doing it for fun bc he didn’t think it was serious

- I’VE BEEN IMAGINING THE MARBLE GAME WITH RAN AND RINDOU THO AND AHHHHHHH PAIN LIK THAT KEEPS ME UP AT NIGHT

- As much as I want this crossover: Realistically everyone in Assassination Classroom would HATE EVERYONE in TR. All the TR characters would just see AC cast as privileged rich kids and AC would see them as morons.

- Like Toman would DESPISE Karma Akabane (he’s my fav). I can’t even see any of the other gangs liking any of the AC cast past trying to recruit them

- MAYBE Kakucho, Rindou and Mitsuya would suit Class 3E but other than that….yeah no. I could see them getting along w/ Chiba, Kanzaki and Isogai tho simply bc they’re chill and play video games

- Koko would have an INTENSE crush on Yumeko Jabami from Kakeguri

Henry Fox is Alive (Firstprince, groundhog day au, chaptered, WIP)

Henry laughs so hard he snorts. He’s quick to slap a hand over his face, but the damage is done. He’s losing it, crying with laughter, tears rolling down his face, snorting again and again. It’s loud and uninhibited and so fucking joyful Alex could scream as he watches, completely enraptured. He’ll do anything to hear that laugh tomorrow. To hear it every day for the rest of his life. Henry is not going to die today. Not again. Alex simply can’t take it anymore.

The muppet baby au is the first AU in an installment of four fics regarding your [ngl mostly my and my siblings favourite wrestlers] as infant and young children. It is an au where nothing hurts and everything is cute and sweet. Think of it like a little episodic TV Show with linking characters and storylines. With a couple of OCs sprinked in for our own enjoyment! The cast include

Mr. Todd and I

Pairings; Regency AU! Jason Todd x Reader Part I Part II So did I lied about part two being the final part? Yes. Do I regret saying that? Yes. Am I now determined to put everything in order? No, of course not. That would mean I have some sense of normalcy and my ADHD brain says no. I might. So that basically means yes at this point if you haven't learned. lol.

Part III

Before Part II

Letters, as you found them, were consistently the rawest form of human emotion. You felt letters could never lie. Too often, when the words were not the truth, then it was the penmanship of the person writing that betrayed them.

You noted that when Mrs. Kent wrote her letters to those she was not too partial to— though the duty of civility commanded some degree of politeness—her penmanship was heavier. The paper was filled with blotches from where she aggressively put the quill to paper and some words ended in a splatter. Even in your own letters, you noted the difference depending on some emotion. When you were angry the words ran together in a jumbled mess, and happy, or in love, they came to be round or in swirls.

Soon after this realization, you noticed the words you sent to Mr. Todd seemed as though you were fashioning domes or arches, recreating what Augustus might have once called his marble city now embedded in a lover’s pen.

Lost on you are the times you wrote to Mr. Todd, so distracted by his voice, body, and attitude in your mind as you think of the words for him. It is not until you peeled yourself away from the quill do you see, in all pinkness, the words written. You wondered if Mr. Todd wrote the same way in his letters to you, letting emotion and heart run, letting its footprints leave behind many alone would dream of.

You sat upon a couch in the Wayne household, watching Jon play with Damian in a game of wooden swords. Slightly amused by the sight, you encouraged them by giving favor to one before switching to the other. They seemed just as pleased by this, giggling and smiling as they threw each other about.

Then, Mr. Todd entered. You stood and curtsied from the other side of the room and he only spared you a glance with a slight nod. Tall, broad, and known to be a skilled fencer he critiqued the boys' fighting stances, correcting them before moving over to you when they were well enough distracted.

“Is your family in good health?” Mr. Todd asked. There was a ghost of a smile on his lips as his eyes moved over you, happy with every ounce of naked skin exposed.

You lied as you did the same as him, letting your eyes scan his body. “Yes, sir. Thank you.”

Pleased with that answer, he sat close to you, enough so that if you both put your hands down in the space between they would touch. And you did, discreetly sliding a letter to him, letting your fingers graze and caress his before standing up. As you did, the room felt warmer, like it was now summer and not in the middle of winter. It had felt like that the moment your Mr. Todd stepped into the room.

Mr. Todd faintly gasped and you could hear him suck in a breath of air as you crossed the room, rounding the children up.

“Come,” You said to Damian and Jon. “Mr. Pennyworth will be very cross if you do not have dinner soon.”

The two whined, but you heard none of it. You gave Mr. Todd one last glance, seeing him wink just in time as the door closed to the parlor.

It’s evening when you see Mr. Todd again, having just returned from his usual walk around the manor grounds. You were returning to the parlor, where Jon and Damian were now playing chess, from the library. Meekly, cautiously, you look up to see Mr. Todd and noted that he seemed disheveled. His hair tousled as the wind had been at him, with only a half-unbuttoned waistcoat instead of the usual somewhat formal dress that was usual to his character. In one of his ink-stained hands, was a hopeful letter.

“Mr. Todd,” You said. “How was your walk this evening?”

He hesitated in his answer. “It was well.”

“It must be cold,” You stated, eyes trying to not look into his for they were the green seas that drowned out your resolve to act proper. “Your cheeks are pink.”

Mr. Todd chuckled, feeling his cheeks, before bowing to you and then quickly shuffling off. As he passed, he stopped next to you. You could feel his breath against the side of your cheek as his hand slid down your arm to meet your hand. You looked up at him and let yourself drown momentarily. There, he placed the letter.

You felt your breath return once his hand was gone and the only sound left of him was his retreating footsteps. You looked down at the letter in your hand, smiling to yourself at the rounded words that spelled your name.

Pressing the envelope to your lips, you took in the smell of smokey wood and orange cologne water that could only belong to one man. Tucking it away in your pocket, you continued on your journey back to the parlor.

You looked forward to later that evening when you would be up by candlelight observing the arches and domes Mr. Todd would build you with his words.

My Dearest,

If I am like Achillies, as you say, then I hope you are not my Patroclus. For I am not so noble as the Greek hero to bear such a loss and still be strong enough to fight.

Yet, if you asked, like Achillies, I would fight the gods to change fate to whatever you wish it to be. For that is the only thing I would ever want-- For you to live life as how you imagine it. I am willing to put my life on the line to suggest that world you imagine would be the only place I would ever live.

Perhaps, if Achillies were blessed with more luck, then he would have realized that being nothing more than a nobody prince and in love would be better than dying a tragic hero who is only remembered for the pride that killed his lover.

Forgive me, dear, I digress.

From your letters, I have figured you are a lady of the great classics, which I also pride myself on being keen on as well. Though, if we are to speak of classical characters, then might I interest you in my favorite? It is of a girl, of simple means whose name is lost amongst the readers, but yet remains distinct in my eyes among others in the story. She is clever--sometimes too clever for me-- and has a way of speaking that, despite her immense talent to be able to disappear into the refined obscurity she finds herself in, sticks out to most. She has certainly captured me with her words.

And her beauty is unchallenged.

It is the type of beauty that only could be captured by the words in a novel. Even then the author would have to invent new words to describe the kind of rare picture she possesses. The author has not seemed to have found a term for such an amazing creature, but if I were that humble author, I could only think of one that has already been invented.

And it is simply your name.

okok road map! for upcoming polychives chapters!

Tomorrow: chapter 16, extremely platonic actions only, late Wednesday night immediately post bench assembly

17: the whole Thursday in a chunk, but not as long as chapter 14 was. it's half a day of rest, just within the confines of resuming the game. Jon spends the whole day in the ADHD Emptiness Fog, it's a good time.

18 and 19: Fellas. This was originally less than one full chapter. but Sasha loves a chance to derail my plans by monologuing at Jon. Buy the end of 19 we will hopefully be about post-lunch Friday. So far we are barely past breakfast though. They are Putting Him In Outfit

20? maybe?: A Second Outfit. Perhaps even wearing the outfit. Perhaps I will spend several chapters getting them through dinner and going to bed instead of just one. who can say?

???: SATURDAY! BIG things planned for Saturday! Going places, perhaps! Meeting people! Doing activities! It becomes increasingly clear how much I structure my day via meal times. I have almost 2 full chapters and probably at least 2, probably 3 or 4 planned.

Third (hopefully) chapter of Saturday: Melanie POV. Overlapping some timelines previously covered to get Melanie's activities before lunch on Saturday. She has some fun ones, probably. For someone, certainly :3 The birth of one of those friendships that is jokingly a constant battle of getting back at each other (not for who you're thinking, probably)

I have literally been looking forward to posting Saturday for over a week. It isn't an originating image for this au, but it is an extremely core part of its DNA now

Hi! I just wanted to tell you I really like your archivist Sasha au. A lot of the ones I see seem less like they like Sasha and more like they don’t like Jon. I really like how the story wasn’t just the events of the podcast but with Sasha and Jon switched; Sasha had her own strengths and weaknesses. She wasn’t perfect and solved everything like so many people think, Jon did survive in your story, but it was because the Not-Them decided to try something new, not because Sasha is somehow better than Jon, because she’s still being manipulated by Jonah Magnus, someone whose had 200 years to manipulate people. (Also probably The Web)

There’s also something about your writing that I really like, especially the first scene with Michael. Also I really like the idea of spiral Jon; I know he’s kinda seen as the poster child for The Eye, but I like to think he would be a good spiral avatar (also I really want him and Michael to be friends).

This is in no way pressuring, but do you think you will write any more? (I only ask because in case you don’t think anyone will read it, I definitely would.)

I won't say the Archivist Sasha AU is abandoned; I have ADHD, so it can be difficult to get back to writing for a piece of media I'm not currently hyperfixated on. I've also started work on an original book series!

However, I was wanting to do a relisten of TMA, so chances are I'll get the kick to continue!

Okay SO !!!! I'm taking your questions post as an invitation to invade your inbox, and I NEED to know more of your ADHD!Jon thoughts !!!! Like I am v much on the Jon is not neurotypical train, but I want to know your takes on it !!! [I LOVE the way you write him in your ADHD series]

I am SO sorry this ended being much longer than i expected but here you go.

God I feel so strongly about ADHD Jon! The way I write him is very much based on my own experience with ADHD. Here are some of my headcanons, some of which you can probably find peppered in all of my fics. But I will definitely be adding to that series in the future!

-Jon didn’t get a formal diagnosis until he was in college, and pretty much just really internalized that ‘deeply annoying child’ bit. This still sticks with him even after he gets diagnosed because of course getting therapy and medication doesn’t magically make things better

-He’s probably his most easy-going and personable (the soft Jon we get to see now!) when he finally realizes he’s not ‘defective’ like he thought, and that there are people who care about him and want to hear what he has to say

-BUT he still has a lot of RSD flare ups, especially when anyone he loves gets frustrated with him. He goes through quiet periods when he doesn’t want to speak for fear of upsetting others

-After his falling out with Georgie he falls back into this majorly, and his first two years at the Institute are pretty hard for him, until Tim and Sasha break down his walls and support him

-I headcanon Tim as either having some form of ADHD himself or that his brother had it, and he feels very protective of Jon because he’s seen first hand how difficult it can be sometimes

-Jon Sims? More like Jon STIMS. He tries to hide it when he’s not alone, but he’s a big hand flapper and very restless. When he’s thinking through things he has to pace and he’s always bumping into things. Martin thinks its adorable but is always worried when he comes home with a new bruise. He also likes to spin in his chair, even though it makes him feel dizzy and nauseous

- He thinks his intense ability to focus on statements is just another form of hyperfixation until it very clearly isnt

-Jon’s not a good listener. His mind is always wandering, and he often interrupts. He feels self-conscious about this only afterwards when its pointed out to him. He’ll go into his quiet periods again, and has a really hard time trying to find a balance between talking too much and too little. It doesn’t come naturally for him.

-His assistants all react differently to this. He and Sasha get into really intense conversations, so there’s a lot of give and take there that he doesn’t ordinarily get and that’s good for him. Tim just rolls with it- he’s a good conversationalist, and he’s great at putting people at ease. Martin is a bit of a harder nut to crack, and Jon feels like he’s on unstable ground until they get to know each other. There is a lot of awkward and misconstrued convo in the beginning of their friendship.

- Jon has so much love to give but he doesn’t know how to express it sometimes!! And that’s why in my adhd jon series everyone lives and he gets the support and love that he needs, because sometimes i am sappy and i want things to work out
