And listen, I’ve had my fair share of issues with people in the fandom, and some of those friendships went up in flames in a big way. really wish star wars had a comprehensive food guide.... the galaxy themed recipes they usually put out in those cookbooks feel inauthentic. seriously, there's not a single concrete section of detailed food in swtor or most of star wars that I can find save for alcohol and rations. you'd think a galaxy would be more developed culturally when food is so important, you know?

(it's also my headcanon that Eight's other favorite method of learning about another new culture is through their food, so he tends to stare expectantly at anyone with knowledge in that area hoping they'll treat him to a meal. it doesn't need to be good or bad as long as it represents the culture and has an interesting taste he's never experienced before).

While normally i keep the blog quiet I would like to talk about a law that was passed in Oklahoma.

In Oklahoma they passed a law this morning.

The law that was passed is about how immigrants can be arrested by cops, with papers or not.

While only on suspicious terms. So that means a cop can arrest anyone if they think your an immigrate. With papers or not you can now be arrested in Oklahoma.

This law is awful, while it's bad for immigrants that don't have papers is illegal.

Arresting people who have papers because you think they don't is terrible and goes against what the people have done
