Considering Tim canonically falls asleep on them, I’m gonna have to say Kon. He’s cool with flying and stuff so long as he’s the one actually in control, and no, he does not care that he’s practically invulnerable and could definitely get himself and everyone else to safety if the rollercoaster happened to catch fire

I love the idea that bc Kon is only half Kryptonian, he can definitely get sick bc the comedic potential is just so big. Like, a bullet won’t hurt him, but a cold going around will have him in bed for a week

But yeah, it’s probably Tim bc again. He does not sleep, how does he even remember his own name

(Also you’re so right, if Kon does get sick, he gets so clingy. He’s the kind of guy to act like he’s dying when he gets a cold, but then when he’s actually dying he’d be like “don’t worry, I’m fine”)

I’m looking up some superhero heights of my OTPS (and OT3s) and I made a marvelous discovery.

So I love TimKon and TimKonBart, and I was looking up how tall these idiots were for some reason.

At the same bio age (17), Connor and Bart are 5ft 7in, and Tim is 5ft 5in.

From what I remember being 17/18, you don’t grow much in those last few years of puberty.

So I’m imagining these guys being 20 somethings and Bart and Kon maybe being average male height??? But probably on the short end. And Tim is just a noticeable amount shorter than these two.

And then you realize most of the League is 6+ feet tall.

Like these three together, especially if you include Cassie, are a terrifying group, and none will crack 5’10” in height.

(Cassie is 5’3” so she’s SHORT.)

First Headcanon that pops into my head- Hot Take: Tim does not like coffee. Just too bitter for him no matter how much he tries to mask it. He likes tea better as his morning beverage. And when the situation calls for it, he will down 5 monster energies to pull an all nighter. (the situation calls for it often)

One way in which I relate to this character- I guess I relate to the fact that Tim feels as though he forced himself into the batfamily. I may be reading too many fanfics with that interpertation. I feel the same way when I'm trying to make and maintain friends.

The that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character- How much the fandom overplays the coffee thing imo. Like anytime I'm reading a fic and someone threatens tim by taking away his coffee, I cringe. But it's honestly kinda camp at this point lol.

random headcanon - there are... too many. When Tim was on hiatus from Robin-ing after his Dad found out, there were vigilantes showing up to his house on the regular (Dick and YJ for movie nights/random hangouts, Batman to check in). Dana knew, but Jack never noticed.

unpopular opinion - the whole "Tim drinks black coffee by the gallon" thing is revisionist history that boy put back Zestis like they were going out of production, you will never convince me his coffee isn't 90% sugar.

song i associate with them - literally anything from 90s punk. Also Blue Monday because I played it on repeat during the Jason&Harley team up to rescue Tim from the Joker fic and now I can't associate it with anything else.

Hi everyone so very recently I broke my leg and had to have surgery. I am going to be out of work for a minimum of 8 weeks. In the meantime I still have bills to pay and a job that doesn't have benefits to help.

So I've decided that I'm going to open Ko-Fi commissions for 500-1000 word one shots. There are a bunch of fandoms I'll write for (DC, Marvel, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Atla, Disney, Sherlock, JP, LotR, and a few others) and I have very few rules on what I won't do (incest, pedophilia, furry, animal abuse/murder) and only a couple ships I won't do such as Timber from DC (TimKon is an otp of mine) Dickory from DC, anything with Jason Todd that is romantic, and anything other than Stucky (original otp for sure) If you can help me I will forever appreciate it whether it is commissioning me or just sharing the post I appreciate it 💜

You all should be so embarrassed for me, I wrote like two thousand words of what can basically be summed up as, "So what kind of fic do you read: Anything with Dick Grayson in it!" and I was only halfway done.  Absolutely humiliating, I would have exposed myself so bad.  (This answer isn't going to be much better.) I would love any and all fic recs anyone has for me, but be warned:  I'm really not kidding about how I would shove every other Bat off a roof to get to fic of my most specialiest guy of all time, especially if it involves his complicated relationship with Bruce.  I am a Dick Grayson stan to my very goddamned core, he is 90% of what I read in this fandom. I'm sometimes open to other stuff!  Especially if you have god-tier writing and a banger summary of something that sounds really hilarious (though, I tend to shy away from cracky, like even Wayne Family Adventures borders on too cracky for me sometimes, as lovely as it is), like "Jason adopts Tim until he's of legal age because he can't emancipate himself, meanwhile they get along like two cats in a sack", I have read two of those and they're both joy. Or if anyone has TimKon recs, I have shipped them since I was a wee thing, I'm certainly not stopping now, but I don't know where to find a good place to start with them, trying to skim through the tag has been overwhelming. I'll give anything with really sharp banter a shot, though!  I am weak for a well-written quip. Beyond that, I read almost entirely genfic with ships more in the background than anything.  I have a few NOTPs--like you, I can't do any of the other Bats with Bruce or Alfred.  I also mostly can't do any of the Batkids with each other, my brain just won't wrap around any of it, the one exception being that I'll occasionally read Dick/Jason when I'm in the mood for Jason to get dicked down (ha ha get it), otherwise I'm generally aligned with what you'd see in the comics themselves.  (Dick/Babs is my hardcore OTP, but I'm fine with them being together or not together, so long as a fic isn't actively anti-Dick/Babs.) I can run the gamut from fluff to angst, but I prefer a certain amount of teeth to it (exception: when Dick is a baby bat, then I will go full fluff, like the softest thing you have ever read in your life, Bruce cuddling with a tiny child who is trying to climb onto his shoulders and do a flip will have me clutching my reader to my chest and cooing) and the more rooted in comic events/characterization a fic is, the more I'm interested.  (Exception:  Battison being given a tiny feral circus child to take care of is hilarious and I want a thousand fics of it.) I tend towards the middle ground when it comes to characterization--I like them to be a bit of a mess, but also I view Dick Grayson as someone who genuinely likes himself and has a reasonable amount of self-esteem.  He might struggle with accepting others' help or prioritizing himself or that they want him around, but I think he honestly likes who he is and likes himself and is reasonably quick to get back on his feet after being a mess.  I think he has a firestorm tornado of rage in him if you hit the right buttons, but that he's also someone who thrives on emotional connection, who chooses kindness and love because he believes in them.  I like Dick being a bit of a mess, especially an angry mess, occasionally have some self-esteem issues, but that there's a foundation of emotional competence. I like almost any tropes (de-age my special guy so he's even more special! time travel fix-it yesssss! Dick & Damian were an even better Batman & Robin than Dick & Bruce, NOBODY TELL ANYONE THAT I ADMITTED THAT OUT LOUD) and I'll take some criticism of Bruce's parenting skills, but it has to come with understanding that guy probably has the most trauma in his fucked up brain out of all the characters and that he's trying/genuinely loves his kids, and the understanding that I love all those idiot Bats, but you absolutely will have an uphill battle getting me to read anything that doesn't have a good amount of focus on Dick Grayson because I'm a horrible gremlin about him and it cannot be overstated that Bruce & Dick is genuinely 50% of the reason I even read comics in the first place.  (Dick & Damian is like the next 20% of it.) I KNOW WHAT I'M ABOUT OKAY. I love fic recs, whether I've already read it or have it tucked up on my reader (then I'll know to prioritize it!), you cannot overload me because I am in hyperfixation mode right now.

Also hooray for writing!!! So so excited to hear you’re picking up the pen for them, timkon is always in need of more writers!!!

As for your question, I’d say it depends on the severity of the argument with Clark, as well as where you want the plot to go. Heading out could be a good distraction method (whether Tim knows about the argument, or if Kon suggests they go out because he doesn’t want Tim to know etc). After the cutesy time at the theme park they can then discuss more (you could really choose between so many options- if Kon is distracting himself by trying to have fun, you could have a moment where he accidentally snaps at Tim because he’s still thinking about the previous convo with Clark, you could have him trying his hardest to be chipper and Tim could notice and ask what’s wrong etc)

Or staying in is perfectly acceptable too if Kon was trying to go to Tim for help, wanting to be vulnerable. He could 100% just jump in to discussing it. Or he could try to deflect and Tim could pick up on it right away and inquire (he’s not one of Gotham’s best detective’s for nothing, and he definitely knows Kon inside and out)

So yeah! Sorry that’s not a clear answer, I just think it could go so many ways! Ultimately though, if you want Kon to try and cover it up and deflect- theme park. If you want him to immediately go for the vulnerability- convo

okay so I made this big ass playlist with a lot of songs that remind me of their relationship over the years and just thought I'd share if anyone is interested!! Ofc not all the songs fit them perfectly but I tried to tell the story of their relationship (at least from my perspective so if it doesn't hit for you I'm sorry).
