I try to!! When someone is kind enough to leave a reaction, I should thank them at the very least! Excuse Number 1: I get overwhelmed easily. Excuse Number 2: Especially with long or thoughtful comments, when I answer those I feel like that's the end of that interaction and I don't want that to end
6.) What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
It's gotta be one of the Mood Color Panties that ended with an emotional cliffhanger...

Uhhhhh in terms of happy ending to fic setting ratio? Probably the MCU/Snowpiercer crossover that ends somewhat like the movie wherein they discover that not everything on the outside world is dead and gone.

I have written smut. With BDSM and lingerie. But I don't feel the smut groove anymore. Once in a while I do like to dabble in erotica when drawing though

I've officially written one (1) crossover of MCU/Snowpiercer. Unofficially, I've chucked words at friends about The Covenant/Fantastic Four where Johnny Storm and Chase Collins are roommates for whatever reason and Chase is trying to close a portal to Hell and fighting off demons while Johnny is oblivious to it all until his Lucky Charms are gone.

Not that I'm aware of. Plenty of art got stolen though.

Yus! A smutty stucky one-shot got translated into Russian
13.) Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
Does The Unlucky Ones count??? I just wanted spoopy Cody but I can't not do backstory for AUs, so my mind is churning out the lore. Then @adiduck was like, “hey, I have some ideas for TUO, how about--“ and then I buried her in the sandbox.
The only bits I wrote (with Adi's blessing) are the snippets on the artworks. She is writing the fic while we both excitedly yell at each other.

I like it. It can add a lot of things to the characters, plot, or setting. What I personally don't like if the words in another language are in italics.

Weiß Kreuz. It's in German and the forum it was posted on is long gone. There's an FMA fic on ff.net still. You won't find that one either.
20.) Favorite fic you've ever written?
I Got My Head Checked :D It started as a naive "lolol what would I want Sithywan to look like? just the once", grew to "But listen, Glimmer, it would be so funny if Sithywan is like "I need a week" as his estimation for how long he needs for Cody to spill every secret ever to him, and it ends with Sithywan just getting up in the cell like he's never been injured/tortured at all and going like "Thank you, that's all I need" like some method acting Black Widow type, but internally starting his journey of “omfg I want him carnally and emotionally””, and then it spiraled into 75k words with more catharsis for me as a person than should be possible. And a greenhouse.

Oban Ouaine, Qui-Gon's Cody's Venator, is Gaelic for little green bay. I wanted a connection of Qui-Gon and his fandom plants. And I thought Oban Ouaine sounds a little bit like Obi-Wan
the original plan was that the whole Venator is like a jungle with plants everywhere. @elwenyere brought up "they have a greenhouse?" and I ran with that instead, not knowing it would turn into a central stage for hope and healing for the characters

Used to get a lot. Especially about my choices where I took my stories, or funnily enough, my metaphors because apparently people do not enjoy them. Well their bad, must suck not to have any imagination. But it's part of the reason why I stopped writing lul.

Yes, I Sat Up All Night to Finish This One
Very occasionally, something wild happens and you end up sitting up all night reading a book. In my case, my sister literally messaged me on August 8 with a screencap of the Red, White & Royal Blue Amazon release date (August 11) and was like "Want to do a watch party when this comes out?" And so, dear reader, once I was off work at 10pm, I grabbed this book off my physical TBR pile and dived in. I had expected to take a couple of days to just barely get it read before we do the watch party. Reader, I sat up all night and inhaled this book in one sitting. Let's talk Red, White & Royal Blue.
*SPOILERS BELOW THE BREAK ON THIS ONE*
I'd be lying if I said I picked this book up for any reason other than a cute premise expecting it to be kind of kitchsy. I was pleasantly sursprised by this book! It has some weight to it, it has real stakes to it, it has fun, it has heart, and holy cow I am in AWE of how well Casey McQuiston differentitated their character voices in emails and text messages. That is challenging for writers, and they knocked it out the park.
Alex and Henry are quite literally the most adorable couple, and in the spirit of this book, I want to share the text messages I was sending one of my dear friends as I was reading. Yes, it's unhinged. Yes, it's all caps. Yes, you can skip to the rest of the review if you want, I won't take it personally. For those of you sticking around, here we go:

Oh my god that book was too darling for freaking words
Unhinged, all caps reactions are not usually my thing for books, but uhhh...it was extremely warranted for this one.
Romance novels get a lot of crap, even the ones that end up as NYT Bestsellers and film adaptations, but honestly as someone who dabbles in writing, I am blown away by how well this book was done on every level. The writing was great. The character work was phenomenal. The plotting was tight and well paced. The premise 100% did it's job of getting me in the door.
And it was GENUINELY SMART and genuinely well researched. There is gay history, there is a solid and nuanced understanding of English literature, and when Alex and Henry get to the point of exchanging passages from historical love letters, it was absolutely incredible.
Oh, and DID I MENTION THE STAR WARS ALLUSIONS??? Because the star wars allusions are there, they're wonderful, and honestly I need fanart of the Alex and Henry and Han and Leia mural.
In addition, the book has significant weight to it, because you have two young adults--one who is, in his own words, "very, very gay" and the other who is just discovering his bisexuality--who are struggling with the realities of being public figures trying to overcome the collective conservative prejudice against LGBTQIA+ people in two countries while also being immediate family members to heads of two different states. That is given exactly as much weight as it warrants, and poor Henry just needs a hug and a safe space, because JFC that poor guy is being smothered to death by English conservatism.
There is also Alex and Henry's desire to do good in the world and to actually do something with the places in history they have been handed, and wrestling with what that means when expectations and reality absolutely do not match up. Navigating that as an early twenty-something is never easy, and most of us don't have to do it in the public eye.
Overall, this book was amazing, I loved it, I inhaled it, and I cannot wait to watch the Amazon adaptation. I seriously recommend picking it up, because it's DARLING.

omfg these are all my favorite shows! They are all my favorite of the genre they are in. I guess I would say Boy Meets World because there is both a lot and it is consistently good but also they are all pretty consistently good which is why I cHOSE them!

Boy Meets World but only because there are more episode. I haven't finished it completely but I have completed Infinity Train
12. If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?
Never Have I Ever? probably Fabiola or Kamala. Fabiola because she's the most like me, queer black woman(gn) in STEM and her drama is way less dramatic then the other characters. Kamala because she's really hot and it's like wife goals/life goals.
13. How would you kill off your favorite character in 5?
Bakugou would go down after having defeated a powerful villain and saving Midoriya and that also might be how he actually dies??? I don't read the manga I don't know but I've heard worrying things like that my fave boy might be unalived??? 😭

Uhh actually I totally think it would. Devi would definitely go on the train and learn tough lessons from insane people

Random thoughts on Vice Versa ep 12
Ha! I knew straight away when Talay woke up that the preview had been playing us and that it would end up being that Puen was going to bullshit Talay. I do wish we could have gotten a proper repeat of the scenario Puen described in ep 9 but this subversion kind of works too… It's nice that they're comfortable with each other to be able to joke around. But I don't get the shying away from kisses. Yes, morning breath and whatever...but Talay pulls away too much. Surely they're at the stage where they want to jump each other's bones not be shy about kissing. Anyway, the kisses over the breakfast prep were cute.
I loved the writing on the palm - another callback to their thing of communicating in different ways. It was cute.
But I'm CACKLING!!! Talay's boss is a traveller too and there's an association in their universe (I mean, there had to be but still...) and I loved how that actor played the 16-year-old within him - especially the Phi/Nong thing. (I've seen some people commenting on how it must suck for him to wake up in a 40-year-old's body...but I also think about the 40-year-old waking up as a 16 year old - having to do exams again, study at uni, find a job, finish puberty...I WOULD NOT want to go through that again 😂).
I was disappointed that we never really got confirmation that both Talay and Puen dreamed - that they were actually each other's portkeys...and I wish we had.
Before ep 11, I had wanted a scene in a cafe with Talay eating a pink dessert...well it was a restaurant and a pink drink, so close enough! And, damn! Puen made the folder!! How did he get the exact same design? He obviously has a good memory. But it's all the merch from the gmmtv shop, isn't it...
Now then, the live-streamed interview with O was uncomfortable and Jimmy played that so well in his micro-expressions - I wonder how close to home it is for these actors. And Gyo saying it as it should be: "Whoever Puen is seeing is his personal business". Yes! But it felt like too much drama for the last ep…I was definitely nervous by this point how it was going to be dealt with.
OMG I wanted to punch Puen's manager - he shouldn't have that kind of power. Puen is NOT a child. How dare he just confiscate his phone. I appreciate that actors are bound by contracts but this is taking it too far. He couldn't be more unsupportive of Puen if he tried. So, Puen is supposed to be an unhappy loner so long as he has a career that the industry can leech off him? smh. Now I know why this picture was there - it represents how we all feel about this jackass:
Anyway, I really liked Talay's worry for Puen - "Will he be okay?" - rather than what has been overdone so often before, the 'oh noes he must have stopped loving me' self-depreciation when the other person goes awol, even if it's due to outside forces (which this show did last ep but at least they've redeemed themselves here).
And I was so glad I was right with Tup and Tou being different versions of Up and Aou. I was CACKLING AGAIN! And I liked how they reversed the characters' energies a bit with Tup being the quiet one and Tou the loud one. It also gave us a third character from Neo. This man. istg.
YAS to supportive female friends!!! That's it, that's all. I love Gyo.
I find it so odd in bls when couples cook and then only have one place setting. But OMFG Jimmy in glasses!! I didn't know how much I needed it until I got it...and I now I need it again in the future.
Okay, no, yeah, I love the hourglass symbolism and parallel. I buy it. It's wonderful, I love how Puen made one where the sand stays because he wants time to stop. It's FABULOUS but I just wish they could have introduced the idea earlier in the series. The same for the moon reference - I don't really remember them 'looking at the moon and thinking of the other person'. The show could have made this moment even more poignant had they strengthen this.
And I mean the kiss is great and all at the end there but I needed to know what happened to Tun and Tess…a lot more than just in the dream sequence. This was definitely disappointing and I hope we'll get some kind of special episode - even if it's all different actors playing out Tun and Tess' life as though they had written the screenplay for it from their life-story. I'm salty.
I'll give the show points for giving us Aou and Fuse crumbs, though, as well as Phuwadol - although I don't see why Talay wouldn't have asked that person if they were the Dol he knew from the alternate universe. smh. BUT Fuse's first t-shirt was spot on again, "Believe in Yourself" when he's in acting classes, and I just wish I could find out what's on his second t-shirt 😭
The ending was sweet, lovely to see what the future can hold for them. And what a location!...to find that house with that huge pink trumpet tree…but maybe they're really common in Thailand… It's such a shame we didn't get to see it in bloom though...how amazing would this have been in Talay's garden?!
Aaaaand I'll only mention the Lays add since we came full-circle from ep 1 with the marriage reference - with Thailand, GMMTV, and Lays (bless them) flexing their 'we want marriage equality' muscles. 👏🏼

what would've made the portwell break up SO much better is if we saw Gina actually be a "maybe" to ej.
The whole season we saw ej trying his hardest to be with her, even before the letter from his dad. It's not like he didn't want to be with her, he definitely did. ("A perfect show is how I stay with you.") But Gina was barely trying to help. Ej said to miss Jenn that he was underwater with the show and didn't want the others to know. But was anyone helping? No. Even his girlfriend who loves theater just as much and maybe even more as him? No. She saw the rcosl thing as a chance to make ej jealous instead of talking to him. Do I think Gina was obliged to help him? No, definitely not. But I feel like she should've recognized his stress earlier and talked to him about it.
She was never a maybe to him. Ej always tried his hardest for Gina, even when it meant skipping out on fun camp events during his last summer to be a kid. But ej was a maybe to her.

Corbin's line in color war "unless you praise nickelodeon, its going in the doc" is so funny to me bc of how many hsmtmts actors were on nickelodeon at a point
Josh, Julia, and Matt were all on game shakers. Josh and Julia had more minor roles but Matt was in like three episodes, one of them being the series finale I think.
Also, remember bella and the bulldogs? Matt was in a few episodes of that as Zach, bellas crush and eventual partner, I think. Idk I haven't finished the show yet.
Oh Matt was also in the weird nick movie (at least i think nick had something to do with it) Alex and me as the older brother of the main character. So yea, I'd say in between 2015 and 2018 Nick LOVED Matt cornett
And saylor was in an episode of Henry danger!

Few more thoughts and rants abt the show:
S1 chase. Specifically in the early episodes. Everything about him was just so adorable (except spike ofc). His hair, his voice, his outfits, everything just makes me want to squeal while kicking my legs up and down like a child.
Did Donald mention Douglas to tasha while they were dating? Like did he ever say "I had a brother, but he died a while ago." I'm curious.
Once I finished elite force, disney plus had the nerve to be like 'because you watched lab rats: elite force, watch lab rats" I DID AND IM BAWLING MY EYES OUT BECAUSE OF IT THANK YOU VERY MUCH
Sometimes I genuinely forget it's a kids show not only because of the multiple terrorists that show up, but because of how it changed my life. I think of chase, start to smile uncontrably, and then think 'oh right he's from a disney xd show'. It's just such a weird thought, you know?
Kaz's pigophobic line.
Naomi being Leo's half-sister and they didn't even mention him in the episode she showed up in.
Not sure if I already mentioned this, but why did Douglas and perry show up in more episodes than Donald. Also I think Adam was mentioned once and Leo was mentioned once if anything.
Elite force just refuses to acknowledge the existence of those two characters. In 'the list' when we see kaz playing with the bionic action figures, Adam's isn't there. Why tf not?

About to watch S20E31 "Child in Your Shadow", which has no John unfortunately but it does have lots of Henrik. The downside is most of the Henrik stuff is focused on him being "in love" with Roxanna, but there is the lovely "but you're happy?" scene with Dom and the very interesting conversation he has with Roxanna about religion.
Edit 1: Have to say I laughed at this line from Jac to Fletch: “When did you become so middle class?”
Also - “didn’t you used to be a mechanic?” I wonder if Holby remembers that too, Jac.

It varies a LOT. It could literally take anywhere from 20 minutes to 2+ months depending on my motivation and my uni workload
On average tho, doodles and shitposts takes around 10-30 minutes, and full pieces (with backgrounds and stuff) would take around 6-16 hours I think? I never timed myself and I get distracted very easily

These are in no particular order. They’re just numbered to line up with the reasoning. I added lil descriptions to each of them but you’ll probably have to either watch the video first or have a pretty good memory of the show to understand them lol
1. “Dr. Wexler, you’re a platypus?” (A Hard Day’s Knight)
Literally just the way he says, “Dr. Wexler, you’re a platypus?”
2. “Is every platypus named Perry?” and then Perry bites him (AT2D)
M O N C H (also Heinz calls him cute) (also also “We do not bite the elderly!”)
3. Perry tries to fly him and Heinz home from the desert but Heinz flips the turbo switch and they lose the jetpack (Road to Danville)
“Like you didn’t know about my switch-flipping compulsion!” They’re literally an old married couple omfg I can’t even (also moment of appreciation for the fact that they’re close enough that Heinz just assumes Perry knows about his switch-flipping compulsion) (another moment of appreciation because Perry probably does)
4. The end of the Perry/Doof subplot of Terrifying Tri-State Trilogy of Terror
First of all, the way Perry decides to run under his giant floating head when going around would take two extra seconds? Beautiful. And, of course, Perry’s fucking smirk because that’s just not his problem lmaooo
5. The pause in the FIGHT FIGHT IT’S A PLATYPUS FIGHT (Doofapus)
I love that they literally just stop mid-fight to have tea. I firmly believe there is no other pair of nemeses that would do that and this is just how Heinz and Perry work. Also, Perry’s smile? He feels so understood? It’s so pure?
6. Vanessa lets Perry in before he can break down the door with his rocket launcher and then Perry accidentally shoots it through the wall (My Sweet Ride)

7. Heinz doesn’t trap Perry (Road to Danville)
He’s so confused fjdahfksdhfak he literally goes out of his way to get trapped at that point (even if he pretends he doesn’t) and Heinz flipped the script on him without telling him and his lil shrug is so cute and I just jsfhkjadhsk
8. There’s a Platypus Controlling Me (Brain Drain)
You had to know this one was gonna be there

The fact that Heinz sent his ex-professor a letter gushing about his nemesis is just *chef’s kiss*
10. Perry and Dennis are fighting in giant puppets in the street and Heinz recognizes Perry piloting the puppet because of his fighting style (The Return of the Rogue Rabbit)
I’m pretty sure this is the only time Heinz ever recognizes Perry without his hat on (correct me if I’m wrong tho) and the fact that it’s literally just because Perry punched the fuckin camera kills me every time
11. Heinz is worried they won’t make his play in time so Perry tells him to flip the turbo switch (Road to Danville)
Perry just trusts him so much??? Flipping the switch was what got them into that mess in the first place??? But Perry cares so much about Heinz making his LOVEMUFFIN play that he’s willing to give it another go??? I love it???
12. DANCE BABY DANCE BABY HANDS IN THE AIR (Candace Disconnected)
I feel like we don’t get to see Perry just kinda hanging out like that a lot. He’s always doing that steely glare, even when they’re having fun. I don’t think Perry really realizes how emotionless he can look sometimes (the beginning and end of Sidetracked are from Perry’s POV especially at the end, the way he acts with the boys shows too much character for a secret agent, so even though he seems to think it’s obvious that he’s all lovey dovey with them, he does much too good a job at hiding his emotions) but it’s nice to see him drop the facade every now and then
13. Heinz calls Monogram because Perry hasn’t shown up (Perry the Actorpus)
I know Perry’s not technically in this one but I love that Heinz a) calls OWCA when Perry doesn’t show up and b) looks so nervous as he calls OWCA because Perry hasn’t shown up
14. Perry brings Heinz a glass of water (Road to Danville)
Half this episode is just them being mad at each other because they blame the other one for sticking them in the desert with way home, and I love that even though Perry’s been fuming pretty much the entire time, the second Heinz actually starts yelling at him, he’s immediately hit with a wave of guilt (also I love that he somehow found a glass of water in the middle of the desert?)
15. “YOU PEED ON MY COUCH!” (AT2D)
Not gonna lie, I mostly picked this one for shits and giggles BUT that doesn’t mean I can’t overanalyze it because that’s what I do best. Perry’s whole role in the show is to tie together the two completely unrelated plots, and that’s only so entertaining because not only does neither side know the other, but neither side knows what version of Perry the other side knows. This is the first time Heinz has really connected mindless pet Perry with Agent P Perry, and I feel like that was the most interesting part of the movie was that Phineas, Ferb, Candace, and Heinz all saw a side of Perry they didn’t know.
16. Heinz invites Perry out for lunch (The Quietest Day Ever)
Heinz doesn’t even know he got hit with the de-handsome-inator. He literally just thinks he lost, and his immediate reaction is to ask if Perry wants to hang out. I just love those lil insights into their relationship when they’re not fighting. Also, perry.exe has stopped working.
17. Honestly just all of Father’s Day
I hate knowing that chronologically, Father’s Day had to happen probably less than halfway through the summer and not towards the end like it does in the episode order. It’s such a sweet turning point in their relationship. Perry’s head all these horrible backstories about Mr. Doofenshmirtz and I can only assume he hates the guy, but he’s still so supportive of Heinz trying to win his approval -- and he’s supportive when that fails and Heinz needs someone to lean on.
18. Perry Lays An Egg

Perry’s literally about to fight a bitch and I can’t blame him. I also like the lil look into Heinz’s thoughts with the “it’s not like I have to fill the space” line because it really explains a lot about him.
20. Perry waiting for the New Year’s ball to drop and for Heinz to finish his scheme (Happy New Year!)
Once again, a beautiful look at how their entire relationship is based on their routine and knowing what to expect. It wouldn’t be Heinz and Perry if there was not punching and kicking involved. (Also, Perry’s smug face while he waits) (Also also, Perry’s lil shrug)
21. Heinz invites Perry to hang out in his house in the suburbs (Put That Putter Away)
GIVE PERRY A DAY OFF (but for real I love that Heinz literally just asked if he wanted to hang out, AND that he assured Perry that he’d make sure he didn’t get in trouble with Monogram for it)

26. Perry accidentally became famous for advertising tools and then shows up at DEI (Perry the Actorpus)
He’s so happy to see his nemesis again :,)

Perry is at least partially responsible for how horribly that day went, but that’s his job is to make sure evil scientists don’t impress other evil scientists. You don’t want, like, an evil scientist team up or whatever. But I’m decently sure there’s nothing in the job description that says Perry has to stick around and assure his nemesis that he’s good at being evil, so that’s all Perry’s doing.
28. Perry pulled an all nighter and shows up at DEI asleep and Heinz has to try not to wake him up (Just Our Luck)
The amount of respect it takes for Heinz to see his nemesis sleeping on the job and go out of his way not to wake him up (but to make sure he’s still included, of course; he’s not a disrespectful guy, even if he is evil) warms my heart
29. Perry shows Heinz a bunch of their pictures together (This Is Your Backstory)
a) I love that Perry carries those pictures in his wallet
b) I love that those pictures exist at all

So imagine you come from a very powerful family , so it's not a supportive that your family would look into the option of arranged marriages. So that was not be what you would want to do, imagine going through all the different proposals looking up every person status yet nothing interested you. That is until you came across a certain person, Scaramouche the sixth of The fatui harbingers. What made you interested in his was not that he was a harbinger, it was the fact that you would have never guessed in a million years that Scaramouche would ever take a keen interest on you. The two of you were from different worlds, do the two of you had more in common then it would seem. But what really shocked you when you first 11 person was his attitude. You would think that someone would be a little more nice or talking to their fiance, yet no truly seemed like he had no filter on whatever goes on in his mind. Even the beginning of your marriage the two of you would fight regularly, though it seems like you were the only one who really initiated the fights. Though that didn't mean that Scaramouche would back down, that's one of the things that you found so intriguing about you the fact that you didn't back down from anything. Here's where the fun really starts imagine trying to one-up him near some very important colleagues of his, as soon as they would leave you know that you are in big trouble. The fact that you even thought of making him look bad in front of very powerful people, though maybe not as powerful as him but still high in title. He would make sure that you knew your place, he wanted to make you scream, beg him to stop and blabber apologies. But even then I'm sure he wouldn't stop, he would fuck you senseless until you can't even begin to process the degrading words that were coming out of his mouth. But once he would finish teaching you your lesson, he would murmer sweet nothings into your ear , occasionally kissing your collarbone down to your shoulderblades telling you how amazing you were. Though he only would say these things to you because he thinks your the only one deserving of seeing him in such a state , even though you maybe close to passing out <3

"Yep. That was brutal. They literally just read off of the PowerPoint slides." You took a bite of your food.
Yoongi scrolled through his phone. "We should go shopping tonight. The stores will be packed tomorrow and Sunday."
"I don't mind. I can just go tomorrow or something."
He looked over at you. "I don't do crowds. Let's go tonight."
You sighed, it was clear you weren't winning this argument. "Sounds good. What time will you get done with work today?" You asked, glad some of the negativity was fading from him.
"I need to do some producing. But I'll try to take a break at 7 and then we can go shopping."
You almost died a little at how normal and domestic this all sounded. A small part of you wanted your life to be so different from the fucked up life you had experienced as a child. This could be your life. This could be it. It's fake. I don't care.
"OK sounds good." you finished up your sandwich. "I'm off to continue answering questions that people could easily look up online."
"Better you than me," he said.
You stuck your hand out for the sandwich wrapper and sighed. "Yep. It’s definitely not work befitting Min Suga genius." You teased as you exited the studio.
Yoongi smiled and turned around to face his computer. What the fuck was happening? Two days in and he had already bought you towels and was getting ready to go grocery shopping with you. Might as well skip to the wedding at this point, he thought jokingly. At least then someone else would have bought the towels for you.

Yoongi picked at his cuticles, his alarm was set to go off in a few minutes. He had done some mixing, but for the most part he ended up writing. He had been very inspired lately for lyrics. Usually it was the beats that came more easily to him and he had to seek out experiences for his lyrics. But lately he had so many feelings and experiences just itching to come out.
He was worried after that night at the bar that you would distract him from his job but so far he had found the opposite to be true. He was thinking about you less because he knew you were in the office or the apartment. He wasn’t wondering what you were doing all the time. Not that he cared. Not that he had thought about you all the time. And it was nice to have someone answer emails and calls, and deliver coffee.
He turned his alarm off preemptively and stood up. He exited the studio. There was no one left on the 14th floor. That wasn’t unusual. He stopped by your desk. It was totally empty. He frowned. How could a person the same age as him have only 2 bags of belongings he wondered. He took out his phone.
YG: What’s going on with Ms. [YLN] work laptop? I see it hasn’t arrived yet. She needs it immediately to help coordinate my collaborations. Additionally, she needs appropriate stationary.
JW: Of course Mr. Min. I will follow up with the IT department immediately and let you know. As for the office supplies I can provide her with some basic stationary immediately. If you require personalized stationary the lead time on orders is 2 weeks. I can send a link to have you/her look over it.
YG: Thank you Jiwoo. Please do that.
Satisfied with himself, he put his phone back in his pocket and headed over to the elevator. He got in. A girl he recognized as Alice, Jin’s main stylist was already on. She had a make-up train case with her and seemed irritated. He gave her a nod of acknowledgement and noticed the button for the 18th floor was already pushed.
They both awkwardly stood in silence for the short ride.
The elevator arrived at the 18th floor. Yoongi gestured to her to exit first. She did and headed down the other way towards Jin’s apartment. He must have some event tonight Yoongi thought as he went the other direction to his apartment. He walked in, just realizing he hadn’t been home since yesterday morning. He sighed. It wasn’t unusual for him to spend days at a time in the studio. The first thing he noticed was that his apartment smelled like coffee and girl. It wasn’t a bad thing. It was just different.
He continued into the living room and looked around. There was a light on in the kitchen and a half-empty pot of coffee. He could see a light peeking out from under your bedroom door. He took out his phone.
YG: I’m home. I’m going to grab a shower first and then we can go. You don’t have to stay holed up in the bedroom.
He walked upstairs, put his phone on the charger, and showered.
You woke up from your nap right at 6:58. Yoongi hadn’t struck you as the type to ever get home from work early so you hadn’t worried about being ready right at 7. You checked your messages and saw where he had texted you as well as Jimin. You pulled on some jeans and a sweatshirt and headed out to the living room.
JM: 2 pm. Meet me in the lobby of the 6th floor. Bring a tank top and leggings so you can try on clothes over them. Also I HATE YOU WE WERE THERE UNTIL 5 OMFG
YN: Sorry sorry XD I’ll see you tomorrow. Thanks again!
Yoongi emerged a few minutes later wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt and looking like a damn snack. “Hey.” He walked over to the kitchen and opened the cabinets to check the ingredients. He looked back over his shoulder, “Seriously, I meant what I texted, Make yourself at home. I'm never here anyways."
You moved over to the barstool. "Thanks. I'm just so used to sharing small spaces with lots of people I don't really take up a lot of space. The coffee is fresh by the way. I had a cup before napping just now."
Yoongi didn't really respond, opening up the refrigerator. The two of you were surprised to suddenly hear yelling and screaming in the hallway.
"What the hell? "Yoongi asked, shutting the fridge and walking over to the front door. “Not again," he muttered under his breath. It sounded like a woman yelling. The blood in your veins ran ice cold, your tongue slowly turned to lead. You heard the front door open and felt dizzy. Suddenly you were in an apartment with Suho and there was screaming. You took a deep breath. No. No. That was years ago. You were in Seoul. You were safe. There were guards here and Yoongi was here. Yoongi? You shook your head, looking around. You started to panic again.
The woman had stopped screaming. You heard the voices of two men and slowly staggered out towards the hallway.
"What the fuck Jin?" you heard Yoongi yell.
"I know. I know. She's just difficult."
"Your girlfriend is a fucking asshole." You heard a girl yell. You recognized her as Alice. She was pulling her make up case down the hallway and crying hard.
"Alice I'm sorry. You know Lin is a little crazy. She didn't mean any of the stuff she said." Jin pleaded with her.
Alice was sobbing as she pushed the elevator button. "Tell yourself that, jin."
You didn't want to stare. You felt wrong watching all of this happen but you were also numb at this point, almost experiencing it as though you were outside your body.
Yoongi breathed in sharply. "Just go home Jin. But this is the second time this week. She needs some anger management classes or something." Yoongi looked over and saw you standing there, peeking around the corner.
"Enjoying the show?" He said irritated.
You snapped back to reality and shook your head. You weren't nosy. You had been scared and didn't want to be in the apartment alone. Yoongi got on the elevator with Alice, leaving you and Jin in the hallway.
" Goddammit," you heard Jin say as he walked back to his apartment.
You stood there for a minute replaying everything that had just happened. You took a few deep breaths. Suho wasn't here. You were fine. Yoongi was fine. Apparently Jin had a crazy girlfriend. Alice was Jin's stylist. And Yoongi thought you were a nosey asshole. Great.
You didn't feel like you could go back to the apartment right now so you decided to head out for a walk.

"You don't have to come with me. You don't even know me." Alice sniffed. "I know how to ride an elevator."
Yoongi shrugged. "Your name is Alice. You've been around for 3 years but became Jin's main stylist a year ago. You are hopelessly in love with him and his new girlfriend suspects. Tell me I'm wrong."
Alice sniffled, her silence acting as confirmation. Yoongi observed so much, quietly watching his coworkers over the years. “This is embarrassing.” She sniffled.
" You should file a complaint with the HR department. She can't just scream at staff members."
"I'm just a stylist."
"Well I'll be filing a complaint. Her loud yelling is fucking annoying." Yoongi put his hands in his pockets and rocked back and forth on his heels.
Alice laughed a little at that. "Yeah. She's fucking mean. They've actually been dating on and off for years. She yells at Jin too and he always just takes it. That's why she screamed at me tonight. She called him a worthless idiot for like the 500th time and I finally just snapped and told her to shut up."
Yoongi pressed his lips together. He never would have imagined that Jin was being verbally abused. He suddenly felt bad he had been so short with him a few minutes ago.
The elevator arrived at the 7th floor where several of the girl's dormitories were. "Rest up. She's a bitch." Yoongi said to Alice as she got ready to exit.
"Yeah, thanks. Sorry I've never really talked to you before."
Yoongi shrugged . "It's fine." He pushed the door close button and back to the 18th floor. He had been so surprised to see you standing there. He didn't think you'd be interested in gossip, you had seemed so mature.
He walked back into the apartment. "Y/N I'm back. Are you ready to go to the store?"
Silence.
He sent a message to your phone and heard it ping from the countertop.
Shit.

Yoongi walked outside. It was a little cold out. He tried to tell himself he wasn't chasing after you or looking for you. He was just out stretching his legs. If he happened to run into you, fine. But if not, fine. He reasoned that without your phone or wallet, you had to be nearby. He had left a note for you in the apartment just in case you got back before he did.

Hey. Sorry for all the loud drama. Jin's gf sucks. Text me. You still owe me jjigae.
He walked through one of the little parks that stood between the skyscrapers and the river. He figured he would do a short lap and then head back. He hated the cold, he thought again as he rubbed his hands together.
"Yoongi?" he heard a voice. He looked over at the swingset and saw you sitting there.
"Hey," he walked over. "You left."
"Sorry, I needed some fresh air." You responded as you watched your breath form in the air.
Yoongi took a seat on the swing next to you. "Yeah. Sorry about that. Jin's girlfriend is apparently awful."
"Yeah. Poor Alice. I met her the other day, she seemed so sweet."
“How do you already know so many people?” Yoongi wondered aloud. He had been there for years and barely knew anybody.
You shrugged, “I guess bartending made me good at talking to people.”
“How did you get into it?”
“Bartending? Well I wanted a job where I could work nights so I could also have a day job. And the money was really good.”
“That's always your main job criteria?” Yoongi said flippantly.
Rude. “That's a little mean but yea. I'm the main adult who has to support my two siblings and I've had to since I was 20 years old. I had to drop out of college so there's not many options. I haven’t had the luxury of choosing jobs that I might actually be interested in.”
Yoongi felt like such a shithead. “Sorry. That was a dick thing of me to say. You’re right, it would be nice if you could have the ability to do a job because you like it. Not because of the money.”
“It's OK. I'm just sensitive about it.” You looked off in the distance at the river.
“You should be proud. When I was 20 I wasn’t able to even support myself, let alone take care of anybody else.”
You shrugged. “I’m sure you could have if you had to.”
“No. I’m telling you. When I was 20 I was on my own. And I was homeless because I couldn’t support myself. So the fact that you actually made it work while taking care of people is pretty amazing.”
“Thanks. And wow. I had no idea. That sucks. I’m glad you’re not homeless anymore.” You looked over at him. You never would have guessed. You just assumed he had always been well off.
“Right? That would suck.” Yoongi agreed, glad you weren’t turning his trauma into a big deal. “Yeah, I got discovered by a talent scout and BigHit brought me to Seoul and set me up in one of the dorms here.”
“Wow. I got discovered by some rich asshole with dimples in a bar, who I thought was running a sex-trafficking ring.” You joked. Yoongi laughed, while gently swinging.
"While we’re sharing our tragic backstories, that's actually one of the reasons I came out there." You began. You figured if Yoongi was willing to share some of his fucked-up ness you could do the same. "In the hallway. I didn't want to be alone. People yelling and screaming puts me on edge. I wasn’t trying to be nosy" you thought about how to best phrase what you wanted to say next. "I was raised in an environment where that happened a lot. Yelling. Screaming. And things got very violent, very quickly, in our house."
Yoongi sat next to you on the swings listening intently to your confession. He never would have guessed that about you. You seemed so well-adjusted." I'm sorry that you grew up in a place like that." He said, carefully studying your face." And I'm sorry that Jin's girlfriend caused you to be uncomfortable. I had no idea or I wouldn't have said anything to you about being in the hallway"
"it's OK. Well, I mean, it's not ok what happened to me, but it's over now. Thanks." you looked over at him. He was blowing on his hands. "Are you cold?"
"Yes, it’s freezing out here"
You scoffed, “It's a little cold. Here," you stood up and put your hands around his before he could object.
"How are you so hot?” He asked, enjoying the furnace of your hands.
“You know I look in the mirror every day and ask myself the same question.” You replied with a straight face. Yoongi wrinkled his nose causing you to laugh. “Come on. I don’t want to get fired for letting you freeze to death.” You pulled on his hands to get him off the swing. “Do you still want to go shopping?”
“Yep. I have the list in my phone. Since we’re already out let’s walk to the real grocery store. The BigHit store has an ok amount of things, but not as much as an outside store.”
“Ok, I need to go back and grab my wallet.”
“Don’t worry about it.”
“But I--”
“You’ve seen my apartment. Don’t argue with me.” He started to walk back towards the city center.
You sighed. Yes. He was super rich and you weren’t. “Fine. But I am doing this under protest.”
“Your protest is noted, come along, assistant. I’ll let you carry the bags.”

komorebi by tomorrowsrain ─ okay, i know you said preferably no ships (we’re already off to a rocky start FDJFKSJ) but this is literally my favorite team 7 fic ever, it’s impossible for me not to include it. it’s kakaobi, and team 7 doesn’t come in until ch. 3 of the first part, but i highly HIGHLY recommend it. seriously, this is my absolute favorite characterization of the members of team 7 & their dynamic, the author does such a good job of building their relationship from teammates to family. i will say the first chapter is a little disorienting (it’s in first person POV, which i usually tend to avoid when it comes to fanfiction, but the author does it so well and it does shift straight back to third person POV for the rest of the chapters). the author is currently writing the chuunin exams arc and it’s literally everything i wanted.
tides by edenfalling ─ omg, this was one of the first team 7 fics i ever read waaay back on ff.net when i was like, 12 years old. unlike most of the fics on this list, this is set in shippuden, but it’s very much AU/canon-divergent. good character dynamics with team 7 learning how to work together again<3
how to make a team by Pleasedial123 ─ basically, kakashi gets his head out of his ass and actually invests time into strengthening the bonds between the members of team 7. don’t get me wrong, i absolutely LOVE canon!kakashi & i know he did his best (he was traumatized + not ready to be a teacher, i get it)... plus, if he was a good teacher in canon, there literally wouldn’t have been a plot. basically this is me saying fuck kishimoto because LOOK at what we could’ve had!!
and so, the sensei supports his students by ihopethelightwillshineupon ─ this is really more kakashi-centric and it focuses more on his relationship with each of his students than on the dynamic between naruto, sasuke, and sakura (but kakashi is technically part of team 7 so it still counts!!)

for warmth by magnificentbirb ─ a scene i wish we would’ve gotten in canon.... like you’re telling me there are literally HOURS of filler episodes and we couldn’t get ONE soft, genin team 7 moment?? kishimoto & studio pierrot, you’ll be hearing from my lawyers.
believing in heroes by guycecil ─ another moment i wish we got in canon because like... can we talk about how, in their genin days, these kids are 12 years old. are you fucking kidding me. also, now that i’m skimming over the fic, this may be more sakura-centric than team 7 centric, but i’d still highly recommend!
the pretty one by theformerone ─ it’s tagged as ot3, but i promise there are no ships! like maaaybe if you squint? but i honestly read it as platonic. one of my favorite fics ever tbh. answers the question that i’ve been thinking about since the manga was released all those years ago: what could have happened if kakashi was too late?
take the fight from the kid by theformerone ─ someone tell me why these 12 year old kids aren’t allowed to process anything on screen.... like, right after the wave arc, everything just went back to normal. like okay, yes, naruto had that moment to grieve for zabuza + haku, but i really just wanted to see a shift in the team 7 dynamics and we never really got it. so take this beautifully written fic instead!! god bless fanfiction.
pray my name by Chancy_Lurking ─ ok so this is a fic that i found today and i’m OBSESSED. i do want to warn you, since you asked for no ships: it’s not tagged as ot3, but it could be if you squint. or, you could argue that team 7 is just very affectionate/very codependent. either way, right after i finished reading it, all i wanted to do was curl up in my bed and cry (but like, in a good way).
just killing time by edenfalling ─ a very short but cute little one-shot that i also just found today! same author as tides, so if you read that first and you like their work, you should check this one out! (or vice versa)
did you inherit a sickness? did you blame god? by hotgirl ─ i literally recommend this fic to anyone and everyone because like?? it doesn’t exactly match what you’re looking for but it does have team 7 moments (heads up: it’s implied sns). this is honestly one of the best sasuke characterizations i’ve ever read. 10/10 would recommend.
of bruised brains and dog baths by sweetpotatopie ─ okay so these last three fics might not be exactly what you’re looking for but i’m adding them if/when you’re in the mood for cute, feel-good team 7 one-shots. this one is just a happy, post-canon piece where they actually get along<3
another day in paradise by ohthelinsanity ─ modern au where sakura and naruto bully sasuke, sakura and sasuke bully naruto, and kakashi is weird as shit. the friendship between naruto/sasuke/sakura that i wish i got in canon. hints of past itasaku and implied inosaku, but it’s very much a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment.
gotta see! finally know! kakashi-sensei’s true face! by Lolistar92 ─ my FAVORITE face reveal fic EVER. episode 101 from naruto is the only filler that deserves rights (and maybe the curry arc because i love team gai, the ramen episode, and all the episodes with konoha 11. but mostly ep 101.)

kuroo tetsuro
the first time you and kuroo spent the night together was a wednesday evening when you didn’t even plan on staying over
his parents left town for the day and it was a better time than any other to have you spend the afternoon
you were still both in your uniforms and with the school day you just had, it was safe to say that you deserved to lay on top of him on the couch while your hands are in his hair
you were tired from school and he was tired from practice
you barely even spoke to each other that afternoon, all you remember was him offering to take a nap with you in his bed and you being too sleepy to decline
you changed into one of his sweatshirts and a pair of shorts and when he saw you he just 🥺
kuroo: are we really that tired tho 👉👈
you, blinking: yes
the nap was so deep and peaceful that the only reason you woke up from it was because of the sound of a car pulling up in the driveway
that’s when you realize that you’ve actually spent the night and the bright light that’s been annoying your eyes for the past 2 minutes was the sun rising
you shift from your place but kuroo’s right grip on your waist only worsened as he pulled you closer to his chest
“stop moving so much,” he mumbles groggily, refusing to open his eyes as he snuggles against your shoulder blade
you panic, “kuroo we’re gonna be late,”
he takes a while to respond but you feel him nod softly against your skin, “we can skip first period,”
then you hear the front door open, your heart racing because kuroo clearly doesn’t have any plans on getting up soon
you try your best to push him away from you but the more you do the more his tightening his grip, too tired to open his eyes
you, panicking: if you don’t wake up now i’m breaking up with you
kuroo, mumbling: hmm we’ll get back together it’s okay
he’s pressing quick kisses against your shoulder and you almost swoon over the infatuated look he had on
“we should do this more often,” kuroo says, his voice quiet and you’re debating with yourself if he’s choosing not to hear his parents downstairs
you shift, “i know, i like this too, but your parents are home and i don’t want their first impression of me to be like this,”
he finally opens his eyes and lets go of the grip he had on you, you jump out of bed, hearing the footsteps from the stairs
“tetsu, are you awake yet?” his mom’s voice blared as she knocked on his door
you wanted to laugh as the panic set on your boyfriend’s face but you found yourself frozen still when you realize that this meant trouble if she found you in there
“kuroo, i swear to god, i will not let this be the first time your mom meets me,” you tell him in a hushed tone, quickly picking up your clothes
“yup!” he shouts back, and the first thing he could do when the doorknob twisted was shove you in his open closet
you yelp at the suddenness but you held the door closed as your pressed against his clothes in extreme tightness
“you’ll be late,” his mom says, entering his room
kuroo nods, “i’m actually skipping first period, my head hurts,”
there’s sweat on his forehead and his mom crosses her arms with a look
“fine,” she says, sighing, “your dad and i are going grocery shopping this morning so make sure to lock up before you go back to bed.”
kuroo lets out a breath of relief, walking his mom out the door and he shuffles to lock it before opening the closet to a rather agitated you
kuroo: i mean hey at least now we can have the morning in peace 😌
you, throwing a pillow at him: i hate you
kuroo, pulling you back in bed: hmm we’ll drive by starbucks before heading to school
you: i hate you less
tsukishima kei
first of all, sleeping with him is one thing and waking up next to him is another
he’s so stiff and on guard the whole time that you’d think he’s physically repulsed by the idea of you being beside him all night
you: i can take the floor, it’s really not a big deal
tsukki: are you kidding i’m not letting you sleep on the floor
you: wait aw 🥺
tsukki: at least take the couch
you can tell he’s anxious with the whole thing and you curse yourself for thinking it was a good enough time for the both of you to have a sleepover
but he’s just been away a lot from all the volleyball tournaments and it’s been so long since the two of you hung out that when he asked if you wanted to stay over you couldn’t say no
so now you’re left awkwardly sitting on his bed at 11 pm after the two of you finished a movie with nothing else to do
he eyes you down, you’re wearing one of his shirts which were obviously too big and a pair of sweats that you brought along
he glances at his watch, a faint pink on his face as he avoids your gaze
you: wait are you shy like are you actually
tsukki: hey remember when you offered to sleep on the floor
the two of you decide to just let tiredness take over you when you feel like it so you spend the next two hours in each other’s arms as you both scroll through tiktok
his nerves have calm down but you still feel the faint racing of his heart when you laugh from a video you see

but then you realize that hours have passed and neither of you are still tired enough to seriously lay down next to each other and try to sleep
tsukishima: do you want to go out for a drive?
you: it’s 3 am
tsukishima: ?

he hands you an extra hoodie of his because it’s cold outside and he absolutely refuses to drive unless you put your seatbelt on
so it’s 3 am and the two of you are at a starbucks drivethru ordering too much caffeine for people who’re trying to fall asleep
you both end up chilling in their parking lot all morning just scrolling through twitter or tiktok and sometimes you’d feel him glance up at you from his phone but you decide not to mention it
you: why don’t we spend time like this more often
tsukishima: i honestly think you’ll find me boring if we hang out for more than an hour :/
you, soft: it actually takes less than an hour 🥺
before the two of you realize it you’ve fallen asleep in his car at a starbucks with the windows down and the 1975 blaring in the radio
you wake up first from the sunlight and you won’t deny the way your heart skipped a beat when you noticed how tsukki took off his hoodie to put on your thighs
you take off his glasses from his face, giving him a quick peck on the forehead before making sure he was comfortable and warm in his seat
he must’ve been tired and you really hope that you didn’t wake him up when you left the car to order more coffee for the both of you
akaashi keiji
THIS BOY IS AN ANGEL
he’s asleep by 10 pm and he’ll wake up at 8 just like he’s used to because he’s the most perfect boy in the world with the most perfect sleep schedule
you know of this fact and it bugs you cause sometimes you just really wanna facetime him at 3 am or reference him tiktoks that you found funny that day
so when he offered you a chance to stay over you were kinda on the rocks about it
you: yknow i sleep at 4 am right
akaashi: ... by choice?
you: at this point my body just shuts down when it wants to

regardless of this fact, you could never turn down akaashi, it was like hard wired in your brain to never ever decline him and can you really blame yourself he’s 🥺
he insisted to stay up with you instead of you trying to fall asleep next to him at 9 pm but you just couldn’t put him through that
you put down your phone and even if it did feel odd to close your eyes without the sun rising, the sudden embrace by your boyfriend immediately made you forget about everything else

his fingers trail under your shirt and you shiver at how gentle they are

he places a quick kiss on your forehead before letting go of you and turning to his side
you felt like asking him back to you but you knew how tired he must’ve been so you don’t budge
you’re left staring at his room’s ceiling and you don’t know how long you did that but the next time you checked your phone it was already 1 am in the morning
you, internally: it’s like a talent omfg
aside from the fact that you’re close to tears as you think about how you stared at a ceiling for 3 hours straight because you didn’t want to go to sleep that much you stop fighting the inevitable
you prop yourself up on his headboard, careful not to wake him up beside you and start to go through what you usually do most nights
you’re so caught up on the tiktoks that you barely notice akaashi stirring from beside you before pulling the comforter over his head
he’s awake at this point and the silly grin on his face can’t be fought as he looks at you so indebted in what you watched
he leans against your shoulder, tired eyes and all whilst stifling back a yawn
you, sleepy: sorry for waking you
akaashi, just as sleepy: that’s ok, i like this better
the two of you spend the rest of the morning against each other on his headboard as you scroll through the contents of your phone
once akaashi realizes that you’ve fallen asleep, he gently pushes you back down on the pillows and your hands immediately make their way to embrace him
he will 100% take pictures before getting himself comfortable next to you, a soft smile on his face as he snuggles against your neck
akaashi, turning off his alarms: we can sleep in tomorrow
