5.) Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I try to!! When someone is kind enough to leave a reaction, I should thank them at the very least! Excuse Number 1: I get overwhelmed easily. Excuse Number 2: Especially with long or thoughtful comments, when I answer those I feel like that's the end of that interaction and I don't want that to end
6.) What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
It's gotta be one of the Mood Color Panties that ended with an emotional cliffhanger...
7.) What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Uhhhhh in terms of happy ending to fic setting ratio? Probably the MCU/Snowpiercer crossover that ends somewhat like the movie wherein they discover that not everything on the outside world is dead and gone.
8.) Do you get hate on fics?
Not yet? *crosses fingers*
9.) Do you write smut? If so what kind?
I have written smut. With BDSM and lingerie. But I don't feel the smut groove anymore. Once in a while I do like to dabble in erotica when drawing though
10.) Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
I've officially written one (1) crossover of MCU/Snowpiercer. Unofficially, I've chucked words at friends about The Covenant/Fantastic Four where Johnny Storm and Chase Collins are roommates for whatever reason and Chase is trying to close a portal to Hell and fighting off demons while Johnny is oblivious to it all until his Lucky Charms are gone.
11.) Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I'm aware of. Plenty of art got stolen though.
12.) Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yus! A smutty stucky one-shot got translated into Russian
13.) Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
Does The Unlucky Ones count??? I just wanted spoopy Cody but I can't not do backstory for AUs, so my mind is churning out the lore. Then @adiduck was like, “hey, I have some ideas for TUO, how about--“ and then I buried her in the sandbox.
The only bits I wrote (with Adi's blessing) are the snippets on the artworks. She is writing the fic while we both excitedly yell at each other.

15.) What's a WIP you'd like to finish, but doubt you ever will?
I don't have any fic WIPs atm

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh quite a lot of people pointed out that my pacing is good, and some people like my humor! Thank you <3

I'm too rushed. And like, a whole lot of technical stuff I don't know.
18.) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I like it. It can add a lot of things to the characters, plot, or setting. What I personally don't like if the words in another language are in italics.
19.) First fandom you wrote for?
Weiß Kreuz. It's in German and the forum it was posted on is long gone. There's an FMA fic on ff.net still. You won't find that one either.
20.) Favorite fic you've ever written?
I Got My Head Checked :D It started as a naive "lolol what would I want Sithywan to look like? just the once", grew to "But listen, Glimmer, it would be so funny if Sithywan is like "I need a week" as his estimation for how long he needs for Cody to spill every secret ever to him, and it ends with Sithywan just getting up in the cell like he's never been injured/tortured at all and going like "Thank you, that's all I need" like some method acting Black Widow type, but internally starting his journey of “omfg I want him carnally and emotionally””, and then it spiraled into 75k words with more catharsis for me as a person than should be possible. And a greenhouse.
More IGMHC trivia!!
Oban Ouaine, Qui-Gon's Cody's Venator, is Gaelic for little green bay. I wanted a connection of Qui-Gon and his fandom plants. And I thought Oban Ouaine sounds a little bit like Obi-Wan
the original plan was that the whole Venator is like a jungle with plants everywhere. @elwenyere brought up "they have a greenhouse?" and I ran with that instead, not knowing it would turn into a central stage for hope and healing for the characters

Season’s Beatings Info And FAQ!
Hey friends! This is the official information post for the event, plus answers to the questions that have been popping up!
What Is This Event?
Season’s Beatings (formerly Saint Whumpolas) is a gift exchange in the style of a Secret Santa. Everyone who signs up will both give and receive a whumpy gift based on their OCs!
How Does It Work?
When you sign up for the event, you will be paired with two people- one person who you will make a gift for, and one person who will make a gift for you. You’ll be sent an ask with your gift person’s OC/story/favorite trope/disliked tropes information, and you’ll use that to create something amazing for them! Meanwhile, your own gifter will be making something wonderful using your OCs! I’ll collect all the gifts here, and on Christmas Day, everyone will receive their gifts!
When Does It Start?
I’m hoping to have the sign-up form finished tomorrow. Stay tuned!
Sign-ups will close on November 25. I’ll hopefully have everyone paired up by November 29.
The deadline to send in your gifts will be December 25, giving everyone three weeks to complete their gifts, and five days for the standby people to fill in if necessary.
Gifts will be sent out on December 30!
What Makes A Gift?
A gift can be anything! Art, writing, moodboards, other types of art- anything you can think of! There’s only three restrictions- for writers, gifts have to be 500 words minimum (no maximum!). You’ve got to put at least some effort into your gift- five minutes to make a vaguely whumpy meme edit is not going to cut it. And this event is SFW only, so please make your gifts accordingly. (For the purposes of this event, NSFW is anything sexual- so implications, references, fade-to-black, etc., should all be left out.)
Who Can Join?
For this year, the event is open to OC whumpers only. I’m going to be working next year (hopefully) on a way to run this that includes fandom whump, but for this year, OCs only. However, I believe there is a fandom whump version of this being run by @whumpdreamz, so if you see this and you’re a fandom whumper, head over that way!

Kink meme archiving project: Star Trek
Hello! I've started a personal project in 2024 to archive the old kink memes on livejournal for my favourite show: Star Trek. I'll be working my way through them all slowly- so while I'm starting with the reboot one (which is a huge undertaking! will definitely take me a while) this blog will go through every single one I can find. This is not to repost fictions, you will not find actual works posted here just links to the original threads I find them on with additional links whenever possible to authors personal livejournals and other places they may have posted it, as well as a final link to where I am archiving said fics via the wayback machine-- Which seems to be as screenshots of the kink page as otherwise the comments (where the fics are) does not appear so please forgive any clunky/outdated appearances
This is not an ask blog, a rec blog, or anything else of the sort. It is purely for archival purposes to have everything located in one place-even then it is mainly to be used as a reference point for myself with my work with the wayback machine. As such asks will never be open and besides this I will not be posting anything besides links.
As it is not a rec blog or anything of the sort I will not be vetting the fics- by this I mean I will not be leaving anything (purposefully) undocumented in regards to these fics, regardless of how I or anyone else may feel about their subject matter--it is a Kink Meme and all possible warnings apply. I will be adding verbatim how the original prompts listed its kinks/warning and if an author added any warnings to the very start of the fic I will do my best to add them as well. But if you see a post and decide to read the fic it contains please do your own research if you know certain content upsets you.
I will not be saving unfilled prompts but the content that is there may not be complete either, basically as long as some sort of fill is there and available I will be posting it--If there claims to be a fic but I have no way to access it it will be made into a special post with screenshots and asks for help in regards to original content if I can not find it on any other archive-- a long shot but maybe someone knows someone who has screenshots or was the original author who can add a link to where they have saved their work!
All of this to say, while tumblr is questionable my posts may or may not end up in the tags, so I hope this pinned post is a useful as a sort of FAQ and that I don't get reported for spam or anything
projects like this are a big undertaking, and it's just me doing this, I can't be sure how fast or if at all I will complete this but I believe it's important to preserve fandom history, the kink memes are a big part of my fandom experience, and I've been so so happy to see them start to make a reappearance as 'prompt memes' on tumblr and A03, as the kink memes on livejournal are over a decade old there's bound to be TONS of fans who have never experienced them and find livejournal confusing to navigate, I'm hoping this inspires people to give older fics a try, give lots of love to those fic writers who might come across this blog, and even gives a boost to the current prompt meme revivals!
While asks are off, if you need to contact me you can reply to this post, I'm hesitant to give out my personal tumblr in case the content causes fandom wank--the internet is a very different place than it was a decade ago and terminology and kink that was commonplace in those circles may be harshly met now but we will see how it goes!
ALSO!!! if at any point in the future you see this and think this would be a good idea for other fandoms ( I know Glee has a fucking HUGE kink meme presence for example) you can just straight up go ahead and do it! no need to reinvent the wheel or ask permission if you like how I organized the info you can have the blue print-- I think the important part is archiving on the wayback machine. Think of how much past fandom history has been lost, and how much will be lost once old giants like livejournal and ff.net go down-- hell I think I even use to read fics on sites like quizzila at one point, gone now, and all the other places that existed like geocities, MAILING LISTS!! EMAIL AND GOOD OLD POSTAGE!
While A03 is doing amazing at archiving, places like the kink memes are hidden gems, so many fics are just small bits of love that don't get posted anywhere else and it's so sad to think about what will be lost.

I think I'm making steady progress! I know its going to be a slug getting through it all, just this one kink meme has 14 parts to it with like an average of 8000 comments each which could be like . . . at least a thousand or a good few hundred fics in each (would it be an 8:1 ratio??? i feel like that's too high) either way combined i'm looking at a good few thousand fics for ONE kink meme and there's TONS out there-- and if i manage to get through all of them before LJ gets shut down (this could very well take me years) then there's all the communities they get cross posted in who have their own fandom events and a whole bunch of fics to maybe also archive. Or just all the authors i'm finding who have other fics on their Journals who haven't been active in years! But I can't think that far ahead or I get overwhelmed, this is at its core a kink meme archive.
I've sorted out an issue I've had with a handful of fics where the adult warning archives instead of the fic. as far as i can tell there's no solution through it using the main archive (there is with other sites, but LJ is a special old girl) but there's a different archive I can use-though i cant seem to then archive THAT on the main site . . . so that's still a problem, but I've tagged those fics 'other archive' to come back to at a later date.
I have a hard time trying to locate other places people may have posted their fics if they don't leave me very obvious bread crumbs so if you (yes, YOU, the person reading this sometime in the future) see a writer you recognize you're more than welcome to tag them or add additional author info in a reblog or just whisper in the tags or reply (if this blog is still active mystery person reading this a decade in the future)
either way, i'm hoping to get through this particular kink meme by the end of the year. I know it's only 11 days into the new year but i'm really trying to pace myself so I don't burn out. I'm almost positive I can get through the first part this month so an average of one a month shouldn't be impossible (so average like a page and a half a day, which is still like 18 fics/per day)
24/1 lmao ok so I started Vyvanse, and I hyperfocused and basically archived 163 fics in the last 24 hours and finished the first of fourteen sections of the first kink meme on my list-- which is golden! Awesome! Spectacular! 410 fics in just that first part,( they tapered off from an average of 11 fics per page to 8 basically) I'm doing amazing! And--this is looking way to far ahead-- but I like to think now that I'm in a solid rhythm (of how to archive not how to pace myself) once all the kink memes are done I'll start a whole new blog and archive all the other trek comms I can find, because theres a lot of crossposting going on and theres just so many comms with their own special events and things that have been archived but on things like delicious which is gone or in blogs that have been deleted as a whole. like st-anon! But anyway I'm having a lot of fun! And I'm probably not gonna look at this blog for a week but I've got days in the bank baby!
19/2 I've reached part 3!!!! I'm right on track where I want to be mid february, there was a small decrease in the number of fics in #2 but a lot more than going through page by page made it seem-- a common theme I've noticed is misplaced comment fics, which is so fascinating! It's so easy to misplace your comment on threads, and instead of hostility or mod culling it's treated with comradery (get it?) and kindness. I'm still looking at around several thousand individual fics just for this kinkmeme and after this one there's so many more, one is already lost to a purge but there's at least one other huge one. My queue ran out the other day because I was dealing with a dead rat somewhere in my kitchen walls, very distressing, and a bit embarrassing cause this blog doubled its following in the last few days, and it definitely feels a bit strange to know that this project is getting attention. Feels a bit like I'm sitting on my bed, back to the window, and every time I peer around my shoulder I see more people peering down at what I'm doing. Which I WANT people to be able to do cause that's the whole reason I'm doing this but it's like a 'damn wish I'd thought to put pants on' kinda vibe. I don't feel very professional. But still . . . we persevere!!!
22/2 horrific news. Just realised I wasn’t counting the posts with multiple fics . . . As multiple fics. So even the posts with five individual fics. Have only counted as one in my count. The absolute buffoonery. The agonising idea of having to individually check each post. The massive urge to quit and sulk for five years. But still. . . We persevere. So I need to come back to stixk 1 & 2 and recount. But from the start of 3 we’re on track.

If you haven't already answered it (I can't find your FAQ >A< My tumblr literacy is GONE!) it's been on my mind since I first saw your username. Is it Pseudo or Pseudonym? What is the story behind it too?
Thank you for asking! ISTG my tumblr has been under construction for so long that I keep forgetting I actually have to construct it. Let this be the first thing I link to for my FAQs because it comes up often.
I went through many name changes over the years as a fan of things, but the time came when I could no longer be contained by the label Enjoyer and finally evolved into my ultimate form; Creator.
I started playing god back in the grand old times of February 2023 (this blog was created around March 2023 in the midst of me writing my first story so I could make press-releases about it because having-fun-is-an-all-ages-activity). This was before I thought I could even make art; I was purely a writer and not a very good one at th I was pretty decent at it.
There are a few things going on with my username. Pseudonym (fictitious name), and Nymphomania (excessive sexual desire), and together Pseudonymphomania is fictitious excessive sexual desire (because I write smut haha). I'm on the asexual spectrum and the process of writing enables me and others to experience it theoretically (you can even say Fictitiously).
In terms of what kind of fan I am, I veer on the silly side of things. I am a purveyor of comedy and I often make literary or meme references or a mashup of the two. On the flip-side, I'm also an essayist and fan-academic. A Pseudonym is something that is used in the writerly world and especially in the fan space, so why shouldn't I be a little silly and call-back to it?
The real question is, what the fuck I decided to use as my icons back then:
Since I wasn't a digital artist until after I finished my first story, I used Canva and free assets to create my first one. I had a kind of bland beige background with four different coloured hands reaching toward a strawberry ice cream cone. The ice cream is phallic imagery, especially with the pink head making it look like a peen. I used a serif font (evokes an image of classic literature) for the username. And it was a visual travesty.
I soon refined my taste and I made a second pfp with an all-white background to imitate the pages of a book. For clarity, I used a sans-serif font for the username this time and curved it into a circle, added two hands grasping it like looking into a crystal ball (the process of writing). The ice cream is dripping/melting [.............] and there's a little heart (universal visual for love) at the tip of it, acting as a sprinkle (representing "Prn with Feelings", an AO3 tag)
The thought process behind this kind of nonsense is what you can expect from me for literally everything. I've since stopped using cryptic symbolism and just use my own art, but that doesn't mean I stopped being ridiculous.
If you've seen me in the other places I hang around and wonder why it's not Pseudonymphomania everywhere even though I sign all my works as that...
PseudonymFanfic (Reddit): Created April 2023. Character Limits for username. At the time, I was only a writer. I couldn't change it after.
PseudonymDicks (Twitter): Created March 2023. Character Limits for username. Used to be called PseudonymFanfic like my Reddit and hosted all my works, including SFW and NSFW) until I was shadowbanned for containing too much flavor and never taken off it. This became NSFW only and my name changed to Dicks to reflect that. PseudonymDicks is also what I'll be using for my NSFW patreon when I get that set up, unless there's a restriction on that kind of naming that will force me to be PseudonymDix or something, oh my lords. Please no.
PseudonymWorks (Twitter): Created January 2024. SFW and Suggestive works only. The second twitter exists because a tree falling in a forest should be heard by someone who wants to harvest the firewood. PseudonymWorks is also what I'll be using for Etsy, Kofi, Patreon, etc. when I get those set up.
I continue to be Pseudonymphomania on here, AO3 and Bluesky and wherever else I am not limited by how long my name is that everyone knows who I am but nobody knows how to spell my name. (The mirth this gives me feels delightful)
"How are you so prolific?" Obsession. Some things become a catalyst for improvement that you will never see coming. How could I predict liking DiaLuci so much that it would spawn a million works from my abused hands when I originally started playing Obey Me for a whim and a lark?
Fandom is an island in Hell and I am determined to enjoy it.

Q: What is a prompt meme?
A prompt meme is a challenge where fans can submit one or more fanwork prompts that creators can choose to fill.
Have an idea for a fic/art you’d love to see executed by someone from the fandom? Now is your chance to submit your ideas to the prompt meme!
Q: How long is this running?
Basically... forever! I believe AO3 requires an "end date" to make collections like this searchable, but it won't actually be closed until I close it manually. I will keep it open indefinitely... so in theory you could fill a prompt 10 years from now if you wanted!
Q: How many prompts can I submit?
The max amount AO3 allows per user is 50, so that's what I will set the challenge to allow as well.
Q: Are my prompts anonymous?
Prompts are anonymous by default, but you can choose to de-anon them.
Q: Do I need an AO3 account to submit prompts?
You need an AO3 account to submit prompts. Please contact the mod if you don’t have an AO3 account and we can work something out.
Q: How many prompts can I claim?
As many as you would like!
Q: Are claims anonymous?
Claims are not anonymous.
Q: Can multiple people fill the same prompt?
By all means! The more, the merrier.
Q: What if I can’t fill a prompt I claimed?
Don’t worry about it! This is a casual event, so if you can’t complete something, it’s fine to drop the claim.
Q: I’m not an artist/fic writer, can I still post a prompt?
Yes!
Q: I’m an artist. Can I claim prompts?
You sure can! Prompts are not limited to fic writers. All art is accepted, from illustration to gifsets to videos, and more! If you have an AO3 account, you can claim and post prompt fills to your heart’s content.
Q: What kind of prompts are accepted?
Any ideas featuring CLJ/LBFAD characters and canon are accepted! It can feature any pairing, setting, or concept. Prompts can be set in alternate universes or the canon universe.
Prompts can be NSFW (not safe for work) or SFW (safe for work). Fills can be NSFW or SFW. Please indicate in your prompt if you have a preference for the rating of the work.
Q: Is dead dove content accepted?

Crossover prompts are accepted, but the focus of the prompt should be the characters from CLJ/LBFAD.
Q: How do I submit a prompt?
Hit “join” on the collection. Then, hit “sign up” to submit prompts.
In the text box of the prompt submission, please summarize the idea you would like to see represented in the fanwork. You can be as detailed or vague as you like. In this same text box, please also indicate if there is anything you would not want to see when your prompt is filled with a list of DNWs (do not wants). Please be specific with your DNWs.

FIVE DAYS to the 2023 Lord of the Rings Secret Santa claiming and posting deadline!
There is now FIVE DAYS left to get those fills in! Claiming will run all the way until the posting deadline on December 31st.
Currently, a little over 75% of the prompts have been claimed. Our goal is to make sure every prompter gets at least one of their prompts filled, but we would love to see them all filled. ❤️ Signal boost or go browse the prompts, or both! ;) Rings of Power writers are especially welcome, as we have a RoP prompter whose single prompt (Nori and Poppy gen fic) hasn't been claimed yet.

What is a tragedy?
A literary tragedy (or classical tragedy) is a branch of drama that deals with, well, tragic events surrouding heroic characters.Here is a good definition on what tragedies are. Typically, tragedies have unhappy endings.

I'm gonna plug in my writing community because it's the best place on the internets. HP Fanfic Writers' Guild.
Do I have to hurry and claim a prompt?
Not at all. Each prompt can be claimed multiple times. If you're unable to claim a prompt for a reason or another, please reach out to me and I'll fix it.
Can I submit a WIP?
Sure! WIPs, one-shots, drabbles, art, poems, longfic, etc. All lengths and mediums are welcome.
Can I post a fic from another event in this collection?
For this, please post in the subcollection, HP Tragedies Encore.
Is there a limit to how many prompts I can claim?
Nope! Do try to fulfill a prompt before claiming a new one, though.
Are crossovers allowed?
Sure! Though as this is mainly for the HP fandom, the works still have to be a part of the HP-verse (HP games, HP movies, HP books, HP fandom, HP-Cursed Child, etc).

Can I submit prompts?

Why can't tragedies have a happy ending?
Because I love making characters suffer and so should you if you're wanting to write a tragedy!!
What sort of themes are we allowed to write?
Anything you like. Dead dove, dark fic, grey fic, graphic violence or sex. Anything is welcome. Please tag accordingly. If a fic with heavy themes is not tagged properly, it will be removed from the collection.

Fluff Week FAQ
General
Which characters/dynamics are you particularly interested in?
JJK – literally all common ones unless they’re illegal, particularly the first years & gojo (including all the variations - itafushi, platonic!itafushikugi, the gojo-megumi thing, the gojo-itadori thing, and of course, the much less explored megumi-nobara thing). No very-rare-pairs please, unless 100% platonic! I usually don’t like them. Also, bear in mind I may have to google characters if they come from Kyoto school because I literally forgot all their names.
HQ – I like most characters, but am especially fond of iwaoi and bokuaka (sakuatsu at a push). I love all team dynamics, with a special soft spot for the JNT and Seijoh. Again, no rare pairs please (even platonic, in this case) but I will know who most characters are!
TGCF: fengqing. I’m obsessed with fengqing. And hualian, of course. Basically Xianle trio + Hua Cheng and all their dynamics.
My favourite character is Hua Cheng, followed by Feng Xin, and then – you’ll hate me for this – Pei Ming. Please bear in mind that if you write about any niche characters from tgcf, or those that only appear later in the books, I will not know who they are :( He Xuan is about my limit for late-appearing characters, and he does not appear very late.
Do you mind which ships I use?
Not at all, as long as they aren't a major rarepair, or use characters I've never heard of. If you're not sure, don't be worried - you can always just ask! Either DM me or drop an ask in my inbox.
Are there any examples of found family you could suggest?
Yep! JJK is 100% found family, so there's no issue there - the school dynamic, gojo's dynamic with the students (particularly megumi), the first years' dynamic, the second years' dynamic, the teachers/adults dynamic...
HQ also has plenty of examples. Each team dynamic, duo dynamic, and mentor/mentee dynamic offers something new!
TGCF is a little harder. Nearly all the ships have an element of found family, but there's the Xianle trio and, if you want to get a bit ridiculous, the calamities can also be pretty funny if you wrangle them properly...
Fanfiction
Is reader insert ok?
I'd rather your not, but if you're only really comfortable with that, then go for it!
Is there a word count?
I'd like it to be over 1000 words, but I've yet to meet a writer who struggled with writing too little....
How would I post my work when the time comes?
Assuming you're posting on A03, please submit it to the Astronomical Fluff Week Collection (astronomical_fluff_week), and you can gift it to me if you like. More on this closer to the time!
Art
What kind of art are you looking for?
Any and all! You can do a comic, a drawing or painting, some silly doodles, a meme, anything!
How would I post my work when the time comes?

Hello, Lovelies!
Karma here, for a sec, with an event update. (shocking)
For some background, the original intent of the WIP Project was to give AU Fest a bit of a break because AU Fest is so good at spawning bunnies and a lot of people are so busy during the later part of the summer/early fall, that some things just don't get finished. So it was proposed that I give AU Fest a rest this year and do something new and different (tada~~).
We (me and the other mods) thought a sign-up event would be best at the time because that way we could make snazzy completion graphics and other fun things at the end, and we could send out weekly encouragement. Then we started talking and kind of started not really liking the sign up so much.
So, the WIP Project is now an OPEN EVENT.
What does that mean?! Mostly, you do not need to sign up to participate in the WIP Project. If you have a Codywan WIP (as defined by the Project), then you are more than welcome to play along.
If you want sparkly (not really) completion graphics, or a banner or something for tumblr (we're still not sure what we're doing yet?), you will still need to sign up, but there's gonna be a different form that I need to get around to creating at some point before October. ;D
If you've already signed up: Party on! You're all good to go and we'll keep your preferences in mind and keep touching base with you.
If you didn't sign up: Follow the blog for encouragement, writing memes...stuff.
Around September we'll put out a call for writers who want to share snippets of their work, artists who may want to show off some part of their sketch (or progress work), podficcers who want to share a clip of what they're working on, anything and everything else.

Signups Are Open!!!
Calling all Thorin simps! We are happy to announce that sign ups for Thorin’s Spring Forge (TSF) are now open!
What is TSF? TSF is a minibang style event where writers and artists come together to create fanworks centred on Thorin Oakenshield. Fanworks can be based on the book or the movie version of the character. Any pairings or genres are welcome and we look forward to seeing what you create!
You can participate in this event as a:
Writer;
Artist;
Beta reader;
Pinch hitter (writer);
Pinch hitter (artist).
Explanations of what each of these roles is can be found in our FAQ. You may sign up for more than one role, but there is a maximum of two fanworks per participant (i.e. you may write two fics, or create two artworks, or do one of each).
Participating authors create a short summary/synopsis of a fic, which is posted anonymously for artists to view and claim. Artists will then create art based on the fic they chose, and authors will write a complete fic (minimum 2,500 words).
Sign up as a writer.

Sign up as a beta reader or pinch hitter.
Sign ups for authors and artists will be open until February 2nd midnight EST.
Please be sure to familiarise yourself with our code of conduct and schedule before signing up!

"Tis the Night of the Witch" Ghestie Interview FAQ
What are you looking for in a participant?
Someone who spends time on Ghost tumblr. Readers, writers, artists, meme makers, headcanon creators, people who send lovely asks to others. If you're worried you "don't count" or won't be helpful to my study, I promise, you will be. If you have something to say about Ghost, I want to hear it.
You also need to be over 18, so that you can legally consent.
Do I need to give you my legal name?
Nope! I need you to sign a consent form before we schedule a time to talk, but you can use whatever name you'd like on that, or just write an X.
Will the interviews be anonymous?
Yes. The only information I'm collecting about you is your email (so I can contact you). You will be labeled in all my files as "Nameless Ghoul" and a number.
When are the interviews?
Starting in January 2024! Dates & times are up to you. Each interview will be an hour long and take place over Tumblr chat. The interviews are open-ended - we'll be talking about your participation in Ghost fandom. My dissertation is based on my experience as a queer Ghost fan and I want to make sure I'm "getting it right" so to speak by hearing from other members of the community.
What do I need to do to sign up?
Let me know you're interested by emailing me at [email protected] or DMing me on tumblr, or else just return a signed consent form - you can find more information in this post. If you need the consent form in a different file format, please let me know.
I'll send you the consent forms you need to read and sign.

A reminder that if you have prompts in the old collection you'd like to save to submit to the new collection, please save them now. The old collection will be deleted on Jan 1st and the new collection will subsequently be launched.

WHAT IS A PROMPT MEME?
A prompt meme is a challenge where fans can submit one or more fanwork prompts(ideas) that creators can choose to fill.
Have an idea for a fic/art you’d love to see executed by someone from the fandom? Now is your chance to submit your ideas to the prompt meme!
DO I NEED TO BE A FIC WRITER/ARTIST TO SUBMIT PROMPTS?
Anyone is welcome to submit their ideas, whether you write fics or make art or no, and anyone is welcome to fill said ideas.
WHAT KIND OF PROMPTS DO YOU ALLOW?
Prompts and prompt fills can be SFW (safe for work) or NSFW (not safe for work). They can be for fics or art. Please indicate in your prompt if you have a preference!
WHAT DO I NEED?
To submit prompts, you will need an AO3 account, but please contact this tumblr if you don’t have one but would like to submit a prompt. We can work something out!
HOW MANY PROMPTS CAN I SUBMIT?
The max amount AO3 allows per user is 50, so that's what I will set the challenge to allow as well.
ARE PROMPTS ANONYMOUS?
Prompts are anonymous by default, but you can choose to de-anon them.
HOW LONG IS THIS RUNNING?
Basically... forever! I believe AO3 requires an "end date" to make collections like this searchable, but it won't actually be closed until I close it manually. I will keep it open indefinitely... so in theory you could fill a prompt 10 years from now if you wanted!
