Elrond Week
Hello all Middle-Earth fans! I've been thinking about an idea for a while now, and I've just decided to throw it out there and see if it sticks:
Would anyone be interested in a week-long fandom event centered around Elrond Peredhel? His life is so long, and so rich, that I think there is a well of potential there worth exploring and celebrating!
I don't really know how to organize an event, so it might take me some time to figure out how it works (any help and advice would be much appreciated)! I do really like this idea and I hope that I can make it a reality in the future if any of you would want to participate and support it!

SPOP 4th Anniversary Big Bang
May 15th, 2024 will mark the four year anniversary of the finale of Dreamworks' She-Ra and the Princesses of Power on Netflix. To celebrate, we're planning a Big Bang event to ensure there's plenty of new content to celebrate the anniversary!
Want to show your love for SPOP? Always wanted to participate in a big fandom event? Well, come on over and join us!
What is this event?
Participating writers will each prepare a SPOP fanfic of at least 5,000 words.
Once the writers have handed in their drafts, participating artists can choose which fanfic they'd like to illustrate.
Artists and writers work together to share both fic and art during the week of the Season 5 anniversary from May 12th to 18th, 2024.
Organizers will promote all fanworks in the bang collection and on social media so that readers have plenty of fresh content to celebrate the anniversary with!
How do I join? (Sign-ups are currently closed!)
Writers and artists interested in participating can sign up through the form here.
Once you sign up, you'll receive an invitation to join the SPOP Creative Flex Discord, which is hosting this event.
Writers and artists of any skill level are welcome to participate, though users must be at least 13 to join the event server and over 18 to work with mature content.
Want to do something out of the ordinary like a comic (3 page minimum) or do your own art instead of being partnered with a random artist? You're welcome too!

Celegorm the Fair
Here is my entry for @feanorianweek, Celegorm the Fair! I'm super, SUPER happy with how it turned out (like actually I am beyond shocked at the result), especially since I did zero planning for it and finished it in under an hour.
My original plan was to write a short story about Celegorm, but an entire day has gone by and I've been unable to write a single word, and I was beginning to panic because I've been excited for this for the whole year and there was no WAY I was going to fall off the wagon. So I just decided 'screw it I'm drawing instead'. So I made this: a Celegorm card!! My plan is to finish the rest of the Feanorians this way (maybe I'll even go back and do Maglor and Maedhros like this too, to keep symmetry). I love character cards but have never actually attempted to do one like this before, so I'm very very pleased with the result!
I made Celegorm the Jack of Hearts because he is very emotional, but very unpredictable; you never know if he's going to do a good thing or a bad thing next. I also very much headcanon him as a ladies' man (aka a womanizer >:( ) so I think the heart works well for that too... he really isn't my favorite of the bunch, but there is a day dedicated to him anyways.

No. Cody Day is a free-for-all unmoderated event where anyone can create whatever they wish.

Sign-ups for the Tolkien Reverse Summer Bang 2024 are now open!
If you’re new here, TRSB is a Tolkien-fandom-wide event celebrating the talent of our fanwork creators. Participating artists create a piece of art to be claimed by a signed up author. Authors will then write a 5k word fic based on the art they chose.
All sign-up forms are available here!
As well as signing up as an author and/or artist, you can sign up as a beta, cheerleader, pinch hitter, or treat maker.
Explanations of what all of these mean can be found in the relevant section of our FAQ. Sign-ups for these roles will remain open for the duration of the event and will get you access to the gallery. However, you must be signed up as an author to claim.

The event is open to all characters, genres and ratings, and all canons that fall under the Tolkien fandom umbrella. This includes movieverse (i.e. the LOTR and Hobbit trilogies), lesser known works by Tolkien (such as The Father Christmas Letters), and/or other works with a clear link to his life or creative output (for example, Tolkien's translations and academic texts, the 2019 Tolkien biopic, fan-made films like Born of Hope, and game canons such as The Lord of the Rings Online). Crossovers between two or more Tolkien canons are permitted.
