The enigmatic story of Pangu, the mythical giant and first supreme being and creator of the universe, reveals how Pangu cracked the cosmic egg, shaping the heavens and the Earth as we know them today. From the balancing of Yin and Yang to the assistance of mythical beasts as the dragon and phoenix, Pangu's myth offers endless wonders to explore.
before the Big Bang, there was no up there was no down there was no side to side.
There was no up there was no down there was no side to side, there was no light, there was no dark, no shape of any kind. There were no stars or planet Mars or protons to collide, there was no up there was no down there was no side to side. And furthermore, to underscore this total lacking state, there was no here there was no there because there was no space. And in this endless void, which can't be thought of as a place, there was no time and so no passing minutes, hours days. Of all the paradoxes that belabor common sense, I think this one's the greatest this time before events, because how did we get from nothing to infinitely dense from immeasurably small to inconceivably immense. But before we get unmoored from the question at the start, let's take a breath and marvel at when math becomes an art because we don't have to understand it to know there was a time when there was no up there was no down. There was no side to side
First piece I did for the @vashwoodbigbang illustrating the amazing @jinkowo on tw!! It was such a blast, I can't wait for this story to be public :D
There will be 3 pieces in total.. stay tuned~ >:)
The countdown to Invisobang 2024 begins! For those of you who don't know, Invisobang is a collaborative event for authors and artists. Over the course of several months, authors write fanfics and artists create art for those fics!
If you want to connect with other creators in the Phandom, this is the event for you!
How does it work?
Authors begin writing as soon as they sign up. Their goal is to write a fic with 5000 words minimum, although there is no maximum. Halfway through the event, they anonymously submit a profile of their fic.
Using these profiles, artists pick the fics that interest them the most and submit a claim. Mods will pair up authors and artists based on these claims.
During the second half of the event, authors finish their stories while artists make their art.
At the end of the event, participants share their work during posting week to create a big bang of content for everyone to ooh and aah at!
When is it, and how do I sign up?
Invisobang runs from February 14 to September 7. Author and artist sign-ups are staggered, while beta sign-ups are open for the first half of the event. Each role has a Google Form that will be posted when sign-ups open.
Authors: February 14–March 15
Betas: February 14–June 15
Artists: May 16–June 15
Anything else I need to know?
The event is hosted through the Invisobang Discord. Participants must have a Discord account and be willing to join.
Co-authors can sign up in teams.
Artists must be able to make visual art or music, although you can make alternative art if your author is interested.
All content must be made new for the event, which means no continuing posted wips. Sequels and prequels to existing works are allowed, as well as ideas you’ve had sitting on the back burner (as long as they haven’t been posted before)
See the Invisobang info doc for information on rules, frequently asked questions, and the event schedule. If you still have questions after that, send it to the blog, or dm a mod (@kinglazrus, @bibliophilea, @strawberrycamel, and @underforeversgrace).

May 15th, 2024 will mark the four year anniversary of the finale of Dreamworks' She-Ra and the Princesses of Power on Netflix. To celebrate, we're planning a Big Bang event to ensure there's plenty of new content to celebrate the anniversary!
Want to show your love for SPOP? Always wanted to participate in a big fandom event? Well, come on over and join us!
What is this event?
Participating writers will each prepare a SPOP fanfic of at least 5,000 words.
Once the writers have handed in their drafts, participating artists can choose which fanfic they'd like to illustrate.
Artists and writers work together to share both fic and art during the week of the Season 5 anniversary from May 12th to 18th, 2024.
Organizers will promote all fanworks in the bang collection and on social media so that readers have plenty of fresh content to celebrate the anniversary with!
How do I join?
Writers and artists interested in participating can sign up through the form here.
Once you sign up, you'll receive an invitation to join the SPOP Creative Flex Discord, which is hosting this event.
Writers and artists of any skill level are welcome to participate, though users must be at least 13 to join the event server and over 18 to work with mature content.
Want to do something out of the ordinary like a comic (3 page minimum) or do your own art instead of being partnered with a random artist? You're welcome too!
Need more info? Check our page for the official Rules and Event Timeline.
Not a writer or artist but want to help make sure there's lots of new content? Help us spread the word by spreading the word through reblogs and on your other socials!
I was treated to an in-detail viewing of Smurfette turning into a particle in space and ultimately causing the Big Bang, birthing a new universe. It was narrated like a movie, but there was no screen and I’m pretty sure it was meant to be a first-person experience. Also, in the new universe everyone had bad teeth.
My second piece for the @tomarrybigbang! I was lucky enough to be paired with @the-wig-is-a-metaphor who wrote a very intriguing and interesting fic: Fractals
I suddenly remembered a drawing I made for a cherry magic big bang like two years ago, but my drawing was a spoiler and the fic never updated so I never posted it... well here it is!
