My biggest issue with Multiverse of Madness is that...I’m not a huge Raimi fan. A lot of the hype that’s mentioned in a lot of reviews and stuff praises him for his style, and if you’re a fan of his and said style, then you hopefully had a more entertaining time in MoM. As someone who, to my knowledge, only saw his Spiderman movie(s?), MoM felt very underwhelming.
The cameos here didn’t work like they did in other places because...too much attention was placed on them for them to basically do nothing. Whereas in No Way Home, every cameo was a role that had a part to play within the story.
And again to not being a fan of Raimi outside of knowing his occupation and some of the stuff he’s worked on, the last credit scene was more of a middle finger than a funny moment someone who’s watched more of Ash and the evil dead might have taken it as. It came off as “we’re not like the other girls” vibe.
they also chose to ignore key elements in WandaVision without diving enough into her descent into the madness that it felt jarring.
overall...it was an okay movie. a lesson maybe, to better manage expectations. Though it’s a double edge sword...being a huge fan of Wanda or Dr. Strange might have you defending it as the best latest thing Marvel’s produced or hating it for the injustices it did to both magic users.

Big question -
WTF MARVEL/FEIGE???WTF??????
And will the righteous ire of the Stephen Strange fandom be enough to change the ridiculous course that you have him on?
WTF Marvel/Feige??????
First, you gave his sequel to the antagonist while reducing Stephen to being lovesick rather than the strong freaking TITULAR character of his own supposed movie.
Then you completely reverse his character development from What If...? Season 1, turning him into exactly what MoM Reed Richards told 616 Stephen that he was.
It appears the only correct treatment & love and FREAKING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF STEPHEN AS THE TRUE HERO THAT SUFFERED 1,500+ YEARS MISERY IN ORDER TO RESTORE THE 616 UNIVERSE IS GOING TO COME FROM...

Went to see Across the Spiderverse tonight and it was amazing. (Might be some spoilers).
This was like part two of a trilogy(?) and the story was split pretty evenly between Miles and Gwen’s POV before and after their storylines intertwined. Loved all the different spider people like the super serious, morally grey Miguel O’Hara, Gwen’s mentor Jessica Drew, Hobie the SpiderPunk, Pavitr Prabhakar the Mumbai Spiderman and Ben Reilly Scarlet Spider.
So many references and Easter eggs from comic and movie Spiderman with clips of Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Also the PlayStation game and it’s Spiderman made an appearance.
The guys in the row in front of me freaked out when Donald Glover cameoed (in live action) as The Prowler, so this may be canon for the MCU and Miguel mentioned Doctor Strange and America Chavez messing with the multiverse.
Cool cliffhanger ending so when it gets to Beyond The Spiderverse the action will kick off right away.
