I can't think of much ideas other than the situation that Azul does something similar to what happened in book three so now they are punished by not getting cuddles the most decent option is to actually put your foot down and keep the punishment even if your boyfriends cry out about how "working at the lounge was so exhausting! Please spare some cuddles for these three poor fishies!!" and even if some of your friends call you out (Jack for Jade, Ace for Floyd +Jamil, Azul for literally anyone?) because they are causing trouble:

They are a delightful package deal, tbh. But they guilt you for your affections so often, it's a miracle that you haven't wrung their necks yet.

They indeed make it everyone else's problem when you decide to ban them from any form of affection other than quick cheek kisses and handholding. But it's 10 times worse when only one or two of them are banned, but the others aren't.

Floyd gets in trouble with you a lot because he tends to bite into you a bit harder than he should, leaving deep marks. It's not the marking itself that's the issue, you'll admit, but it's the fact that he'll leave them in visible areas like your forearms, neck, collar, and even your ankles. All spots that others will see and ask, “Wtf, you good bro??” Sometimes he'll do the same to Azul, who will do the same and ban Floyd from touching him in any form. It wouldn't be as bad if Jade didn't rub it in his face, coming up to hug you from behind, leaning in close to brush his lips against Azul's ear to whisper something, all things that Floyd can't do! It leaves Floyd incredibly annoyed, sometimes angry, and every so often devastated that he can't hold his mates. If the latter occurs, he's coming after you. A weak thing to his tears, Azul has had years to build up resilience and hold firm, but you are weak to a whiny, teary-eyed Floyd who is begging for a kiss and cuddle. It's not faaaaair, Jade's been rubbing it in his face all day, and he loves you both so much, but Azul's not budging and if he can't even hold his shrimp, he doesn't even know what he'll dooooooooo! The day ends with Floyd and you in bed, his arms tightly wrapped around your middle and legs tangled in yours as he blissfully naps. Azul's annoyed that you caved in, but Jade's amused and tries to push Azul into joining the cuddle pile with him.

Now, if Jade's the one that being iced out for something, he'll actually return the favor tenfold. He's just an innocent little guy, what do you mean he can't just secretly feed you two an aphrodisiac mushroom? You had lots of fun afterward, even Floyd agrees (he does, but his firm moral stance on mushrooms doesn't). But Azul's pissed that he was used as a test subject again, and you had to call Ace and Deuce to watch Grim as an emergency. Again. So when you both ban him to only quick smooches and side hugs, Jade returns the energy. He's refusing any form of affection, and not giving them to you. Unlike Floyd, who's begging harassing you for cuddles, he's going to make you two come beg for him. After a few days of no Jade, you're both missing him, it's surprisingly Azul who reaches out first when Jade comes to deliver some paperwork for the dorm. The octomer had leaned in to give him a kiss, when Jade stepped away with a sly smile and told him, “Oh, but I thought you weren't giving me your affections? Let's not go back on our word now, Azul.” Jade is a tad bit nicer to you—taking after Floyd—to guilt you into loving on him again. But Azul? He's gonna make him suffer, simply because he enjoys making him squirm. It's honestly a sight to see, as neither are willing to back down. At least until the two of them fall asleep in Azul's office after working a late night, curled into each other's sides on the couch.

Azul probably has it the worst, as he has both twins teasing him. Floyd and Jade are flaunting you around him, being extra handsy. They're cooing at him, whining about how they can't cuddle both of you at the same time since he was dumb enough to piss you off. How could he do this to them? Such a mean, mean Azul! By far, though, you're the weakest to Azul's charms and silver tongue when compared to the twins. Maybe it's due to the knowledge of Azul's childhood, or maybe it's just because he's extra cute, but you can't find yourself away from him for more than a day. He sniffles, murmurs something about missing your embrace, and you're rushing into his arms, kissing away his tears. The twins get incredibly annoyed that you're so quick to let Azul back into your arms, while they have to wait at least a week sometimes. But then you're both reaching out arms and cooing at them to come to bed, batting your eyes, and all complaints are out the window.

I love them they make for a wonderful polycule. After all, they're a package deal, no matter how much they might say they're not.

craig likes it when you play with his hair almost as much as he likes to play with yours. you are the only person allowed to touch his hair. he likes to brush your hair and try to style it, but he really only knows how to braid. if you leave the braids he makes in your hair he will be sooo happy! especially if it's in front of other people.

he normally hates it when people call him on the phone, but if it's you, he'll stay on call for as long as you want. if you must call him, however, he prefers facetime. it feels more to him like having a conversation in person, which is what he likes more.

he's kinda funny tho, because he hates calls, but he'll send you so many voice messages over text, and he loves it when you send him some back.

he isn't ticklish at all but he thinks it's so funny when you try to tickle him that you'll still get a giggle out of him. he likes to tickle you too, because he loves making you laugh, as well as being able to touch you and be so close to you while doing so. he'll be very sarcastic with you, as well, making jokes and messing with you just to hear your cute laughter.

craig gets jealous pretty easily because, although he might now show it, he's a little insecure. he kind of feels like you're out of his league, and you could easily find another guy who's better at opening up and showing you affection. you have to reassure him a lot because of this, but it's not like you mind most of the time.

occasionally, when he gets upset about anything, he'll have such a difficult time sharing his feelings that he'll bottle them up until he can't anymore. this sometimes results in him lashing out at you. caig is very chill most of the time, however, so this rarely happens.

you kinda have to work, especially at the beginning of the relationship, to take the time to recognize the small subliminal things he does or says when he's sad, angry, or jealous. but, after some time, it gets much easier for him to open up to you.

he has a love/hate relationship with you trying to comfort him. he obviously loves your attention, and appreciates it so much that you care for him and want him to be okay, but he also slightly feels like a burden when you have to take care of him emotionally. especially because he feels like he's not good enough at comforting you to return the favor.

sometimes he doesn't know how to make you feel better when you're upset. he's never really had to comfort anyone before, and he has rarely ever been comforted by anyone else (due to the fact that he doesn't often get upset enough to need comforting), so he's not exactly sure how to go about it.

he does his best, but sometimes he'll accidentally say things that make it worse, and then he has to apologize for them. he often doesn't understand why you get so upset about certain things, so he might be a little insensitive about it by saying that your feelings don't make sense, or that you're being dramatic. in his mind, he's thinking about it logically and feels like, if he can get you to do the same, it'll make you feel better.

it is rare, but there have been times where he's gotten so frustrated while trying to comfort you, either because nothing he was saying was helping or because he kept unintentionally making it worse, that he has raised his voice at you. but craig does his best to recognize when he feels like he's about to lose his cool, and if he does, he'll just leave you alone while you're upset until you both calm down.

craig also has a hard time telling when you're upset, even if you feel like it's obvious. and that sometimes makes you feel like he doesn't care, which isn't true at all. he just doesn't know.

he mainly resorts to just hugging you when you're upset, telling you that he love's you an that everything will be okay. occasionally he'll also hand you stripe hoping that she makes you feel better, because she makes him feel better.

he makes up for everything by being an amazing listener. after a few conversations, he learns how to handle these situations in a more affective way. he has learned to ask you what exactly you need from him. if you want a hug, if you want his opinion/advice, or if you just want him to listen to you while you vent.

he does really love you and want to help you, it just takes some communication for him to learn the best ways for him to help you. craig will truly thrive in a relationship with a partner that is patient and does their best to communicate with him.

The PayuRain daddy scene is my all time fave rn because it just...hit so different for me. We got to see more of Rain's cunning and teasing side and how easily he can "provoke" Payu when he wants. Ted walked into the room, milling about as he inspected his brother's shelves of action figures, comics and other nerdy memorabilia. He held a hand out for her to shake.

"I'm Ted, Pete's older brother." She arched a brow, but didn't shake his hand. He held his hands up in surrender. "Too cool for a handshake, hey, I get it." This seemed to snap her out of it.

"No! It's not that, you just- caught me off guard is all."

Ted gave her a skeptical, albeit amused look. "Mmhmm." He turned his back to her and grabbed a stack of comics. "I owe him 20 bucks now, so thanks a lot." Steph scoffed.

"Excuse me?" she asked incredulously, setting her book aside.

"I thought he was full of shit when he said he was meeting the mayor's daughter at Pasquale's, so obviously I made a bet," he explained as he started to sift through the stack. It was Stephanie's turn to smirk.

"And obviously you lost."

Ted snorted, but didn't pay her much attention beyond that. Steph frowned. "You know he's really particular about his stuff, right?" Ted turned around on his heels, bending at the waist to get closer to her height.

"Seeing as I've known him since birth, uh, yeah I do, lil miss," he snarked. Steph glared at him and flipped him off.

"Don't fucking call me that. I'm sure Peter doesn't want you snooping around his room anyway," she sassed back, crossing her arms, careful not to jostle Peter as he slept.

Ted rolled his eyes, somehow putting his whole body into it. "Yeah I was hoping he'd be gone, but asleep is the next best thing," he said, turning back to face her. "If you must know, I'm just trying to keep track of everything he's got. All this junk looks the same to me, and I can't just ask what he doesn't have, 'cause then he'll know what I'm getting him-" he started rambling.

Steph's expression softened into a grin. "His birthday's still a month away."

"Yeah, and I'm running out of time," he mused, setting the comics back where he got them. He even made sure they were ordered correctly, Stephanie noticed. He glanced at her, looking as though he wanted to say something. Stephanie scoffed and looked him up and down. "What?"

"I really wanna do this thing, but if I do Pete's probably gonna be pissed," he said, mischievous eyes glued to his brother's sleeping form. Mischief came off of him in waves Steph hummed as she reached for her book again.

"Then you probably shouldn't do it."

Ted took one step closer to the door, but meandered his way back to the side of the bed.

"Oh but it's a tradition. You see, it was always my job to wake him up for school, dude sleeps like a fuckin' log-" he started. Steph frowned and shook her head, a hand carding through his long hair.

"Don't wake him up, he's tired. I told him he could nap."

"Yeah but he has a guest over, and that shit's just flat out rude in my opinion. Besides, I think you'd really like it," he said the last bit in a singsong tone. She rolled her eyes and returned to her book.

"I'm serious, don't bother him." Then quieter, she added, "He's cute while he sleeps." He made a gagging motion while she was distractedly looking down at Peter, stopping right before she looked back at him.

Ted turned around in "defeat" and headed to the door, muttering, "Even cuter when he's being tickled." Now that got her attention.

"What?"

Her tone was joyous and inquisitive and when Ted looked at her, she had an evil smile spreading across her face. That's more like it.

Ted sauntered back, sitting on the bed next to his brother. "Oh yeah, one thing you need to know about my lil bro is that he's like, crazy ticklish. Seriously, you're welcome, I just gave you the key to getting anything you want from him," he chuckled, only have joking.

Steph was looking at her boyfriend in a new light. "Thank you. That is... very intriguing information."

Ted made a show of cracking his knuckles as he spoke, "This is one of the only ways to actually get him up. Yeah an alarm will wake him up, but he won't actually get outta bed, ya know?" He was hunched over Peter's sleeping frame with hands hovering over his torso. He gave her a sly grin. "I don't get to do this as often as I used to, so I'll take any chance I can get."

Steph giggled and ducked her head, "I don't blame you."

Peter was laying on his side with his head resting on Steph's thighs, his knees tucked close to his chest. Ted started poking up and down his side, slow at first but gaining speed as he went. To Stephanie's delight, sleepy giggles slipped past his lips as he began to stir.

Sporadic poking turned to scribbling and the small huffs of laughter grew more consistent. His hands swatted blindly at offending ones, but lacked the strength or accuracy to protect himself.

"C'mon Pete, time to wake up," he cooed, one hand trailing up to scribble at his neck. A tiny squeal slipped out as Peter scrunched his neck, burying his face in the flannel tied around Steph's waist.

"Tehed leave mehehe alooone," he whined in his half asleep state. It took a second for his foggy brain to connect the dots, but once they did he was wide awake. He shot up so fast it startled both of them, Steph even letting out a startled squeak. "TED WHAT THE FUCK? GET OUTTA MY ROOM!" he yelled and pointed at the door, face quickly turning red.

Ted sat on the edge of the bed, completely frozen with his hands in the air as if he'd been caught by the police. He was fighting off his own laughter, mouth gaping open in shock at the outburst. Shock quickly gave way to amusement.

He wore a sly yet somehow sheepish grin as he looked at Stephanie. "I promise he usually isn't like this," he joked, shooting her a wink.

"GET OUT!" Peter repeated, using his long legs to his advantage, kicking his brother in the back to shove him off the bed. Ted stumbled to his feet, giving his brother a bewildered look. What the hell was his deal? Oh right, they weren't alone.

"Alright aright, I'm leaving," he admitted defeat. He only made it two steps before Stephanie spoke up.

"No you aren't." Peter stared at his girlfriend, a look of utter betrayal in his face. Ted's brows furrowed in confusion as he turned back around.

"I'm not?"

"Yeah, he's not?"

"Ted here was just about to give a detailed demonstration on all your tickle spots," she said, so matter of factly. Both Spankoffski brothers scoffed in shock before she continued, "Weren't you?" She looked at Ted expectantly, cocking her head to the side. There was something almost... challenging in her eyes. As if she dared him not to comply to her demands.

"I wasn't planning on it, but if you insist!" It took little to no convincing for Ted to take the golden opportunity presented here.

"No wait!" Peter protested, about to bolt off the bed when a hand around his wrist pulled him back. His nervous smile grew wider by the second. "Steph, let go."

"No," she said, an evil grin firmly in place. She snatched for his other wrist, and he moved it out of reach just in time. He held his arm out to the side as far as he could while Stephanie stretched across him, trying to grab him. She took the cheaters way out in the end and scribbled in his exposed armpit, causing him to slam his arm against his side for protection, a bark of laughter escaping past his lips. She easily caught his wrist and pulled both of his arms above his head.

"Thanks for being so cooperative babe," she said and Peter rolled his eyes.

"You're not welcome," he snarked.

"I'd be nicer if I were you. She doesn't look like she holds back," Ted chuckled as he sat on his ankles to keep him in place. Peter kicked and tugged on his legs, but they remained firmly trapped.

"C'mon guys, this isn't funny!"

"Really? Then why're you laughing?"

"But I'm not-" Peter was cut off with a shriek when Ted struck, squeezing his younger brother's boney knees. He yanked his arms down, catching Steph off guard with the level of strength he displayed. His hands immediately moved to cover his face and clamp over his mouth.

"Oh yeah, forgot to warn you, he's stronger than he looks," Ted added casually, as if he wasn't making Peter scream with laughter. "But knees: major weak spot." Steph nodded in understanding as she wrestled Peter's arms into her hold once more.

"Ohoho you're one toho tahahahalk!" he managed through his laughter.

"This isn't about me though, is it? Nooo, it's about you," he emphasized his point with a poke to his tummy, making him try to curl in on himself with a squeak. Ted continued, "Anyway, his belly's also pretty bad," he noted, forming a claw with his hand and hovered it in the air. Peter saw what he was doing and shook his head frantically.

"NO! Tehehed Ihihi'll kihihill you!" he threatened through giddy, nervous giggles. His older brother merely shrugged.

"I'd like to see you try," he said, not quite as condescending as usual.

Steph had had enough just watching and shifted his hands under her legs so she could join the fray. She looked at Ted expectantly.

"Where should I start?" she asked, smiling at the indignant cry Peter let out. Ted chuckled in amusement.

"Well he's ticklish just about anywhere, so knock yourself out," he encouraged, ignoring the indignant protest that mingled with Peter's laughter.

"Yeah, but what's a good spot?" she pressed further, seemingly unsatisfied with the vague answer.

"Well if you wanna hear the cutest giggles ever then go for his neck. Oh! And if you scratch at this one spot behind his ears he'll snort really loud, it's hilarious!"

"TEHEHED! Shut thehehe fuck uhup!" he shrieked, his cheeks taking on a dark pink hue from the flustering conversation taking place overhead.

"Wow, is that how you talk to your brother?" Steph asked in a taunting tone. Peter shook his head, babbling protests spilling from his mouth as she skittered her nails over his neck. Ted really wasn't kidding: this was probably the cutest sound she'd ever heard her boyfriend make. She was smiling down at him, her grin stretched from ear to ear as she scribbled her nails just behind his ears.

Peter snorted and tried hiding his face in the crook of his arm, but it still left half of it exposed for Steph's viewing pleasure.

“Oho my God, that’s so cute!” she exclaimed, leaning so far into his personal space they nearly touched noses. Ted fake gagged behind her back, for no one’s benefit but his own. “Do it again,” she ordered, using both hands to scratch at that spot.

A loud squeal was abruptly cut off by a giggly snort, and Peter turned a shade darker.

“Steheheph nohoho!” he whined, kicking his legs futilely where they remained pinned.

“Steph yes!” he cried, ducking down to blow a raspberry on his neck. Peter threw his head back, wild cackles filling the air. Ted leaned back, looking impressed and proud.

“Wow, and I didn’t even have to tell you about that!” he teased, reaching out to tweak Peter’s hips. He yelped, twisting side to side.

When Steph blew the third raspberry, Ted decided to show a little mercy. He grabbed a lock of Stephanie’s long hair, giving a few gentle tugs to get her attention, “Hey, we wanna keep him alive, yeah?” Steph looked over her shoulders, leveling him with a harsh glare as she yanked her hair back.

“You do?” Peter asked breathlessly from where he laid beneath his tormentors. They both chuckled and finally relented.

“Mhm,” Ted hummed cheerfully, standing up from the bed and dusting himself off.

“You got a funny way of showin’ it.”

“Hey, what’re brothers for?” he asked with a shrug. He held his hand out for a fist bump. Peter scoffed, looked at the hand, then at his brother. He sighed in defeat and gave him a fist bump. He turned back towards the door, ready to leave for real this time, when he was stopped once again by a familiar voice.

“I’ll get you back you know!”

Ted stopped in the doorway, one arm resting against the frame as he casually leaned on one foot. Peter was sitting up now, leveling him with a determined stare. It was a look Ted had seen before. He smirked; Peter rarely followed through on his threats.

“Yeah? I’d like to see you try,” he said, classic condescending snark returning to his tone. He turned back around, only taking one step before another voice spoke up.

“He’s a lot braver now, you know.”

Ted spun around on his heels, retort ready on the tip of his tongue when he saw his brother standing by his bed, a confident smirk on his face.

Ted’s own cocky smile faltered into something a bit more nervous. He took a step back, holding his hands out in front of him.

“Hang on now, Pete. W-wait!”

Peter cocked his head, like Ted had done so many times at him. Well shit.

“Why would I do that?”

Ted saw movement from the corner of his eye and noticed Steph also stand.

“Hey, I helped you!”

“Actually, I asked for a comprehensive list of his tickle spots, and IIII don’t knooow… that didn’t seem like a fully comprehensive list to me.”

That little bitch!

Ted scoffed, “Did you just use me to get your way?”

Steph wore a truly radiant smile. “Get used to it.”

Ted took another step back. “I had to leave you some surprises!” he defended himself, shrieking when Peter lunged at him. He just barely escaped when Peter caught him by the shirt, sprinting out of his grasp. His celebration was short lived when he was tackled to the ground.

“Oh Ted, I bet you thought this day would never come. But it’s about damn time you had a taste of your own medicine.”

He could never take what he dished out.

Dongsik is a true justice/law upholder. Never letting things slide if its wrong. He and juwon are alike in that sense.

We mention Dongsiks wall of notes and stuff on the Yuyeon etc case but we dont talk about Juwons enough. Mf has two. Two fricken boards. One he makes in his closet (?) above his computer and the other next to his bed.

It takes a whole day to get to the reed field this time??? Cause he arrived in the morning (i assume) at the police station and then the sun is set by the time he gets there. I think he may have procrastinated bc of the mud or he actually arrived in the afternoon and the sun sets ridiculously early in late october?

I love how this episode brings us full loop to the start of the episode but includes Juwon the second time to add fresh perspective and the aftermath.

Juwon’s step back and shaky hand is a give away that he knows her and Dongsik immediately picks up on it. Yet Dongsik tells Jihoon to leave knowing this must be a secret.

And Juwon doesn’t miss a beat when Dongsik says its a woman. They’re both one upping each other all the time

We give Juwon shit for constantly grabbing juwons collar/shirt but Dongsik did it first! (And it was hot because he smooths out Juwons shirt after) Juwon just copied and repeated.

And Dongsik quickly realises why Juwon is in Manyang and decides to just play with him and be a little shit.

Mate you guys are at the first ep and already in each other’s faces

Oblivious and Envy

Pairing: Jason Todd x Reader. Warnigns: None I think this is pretty clean. but like bad language maybe. A/N: This is the product of a request given to me by @mariidepp . The request was "the reader is kinda jealous because a lot of women have been flirting with Jason lately and he doesn't seems to have a clue until the reader gets mad." Let me tell you this was fun.

Don’t get me wrong, I know that I am lucky. Not only is Alfred my godfather who has taken care of me since my family disappeared, but also I have grown up with the Waynes. I have been there through everything. However I was closest to Jason, being the same age we were thick as thieves. We did everything together, trained, went to school, and patrolled. Jason was my first kiss. When he died my world went dark. It was a very very long time before I got back to some what normal. Then suddenly one day he was back, I knew it was him the second I saw him. It didn’t matter that he was in the Red Hood costume. Or that it had been years. I knew it was him. In my head that scene from Princess Bride played, ya know the one where Buttercup finds out that Wesley is actually alive. Anyway, let's fast forward. After some healing and when he had returned to the BatFamily, once again Jason and I were joined at the hip. Naturally we started dating and have been for years now. Here is the thing, Jason is gorgeous. I mean absolutely melt worthy. I however am not. I am sort of plain. Obviously I am very fit but I still have a soft tummy, big thighs, ya know . I have never figured out for the life of me how my body retains all this softness with all the crap I do. The past few weeks have been especially hard. Why? You ask. Let me tell you.

Two weeks ago.

Jason and I were out on a date. He’d asked me to dress to the nines and I did. “Fuckin hell (y/n/n) you look stunning.” Jason said as I came down the stairs. I laughed. Dick stood beside him and teased, “Bro you act like you have never seen her dressed up before.” “Shut up. I’ve never seen her dressed in that.” Dick looks me up and down with a hungry look on his face. Jason growls “I’ll feed you your own eyeballs Grayson.” I can’t help but laugh again, I know Dick is just doing it to mess with Jason. He has Starfire, and they are so incredibly in love I don’t think either of them is physically capable of being attracted to another being. “Jason.” I say softly “Come on. Didn’t you say you wanted to show me off or something like that?” His mood shifted and he gave me that gorgeous smile. “Yeah I did. Let's go.” Once in the car his hand is immediately on my thigh. It’s a quiet ride, easy and comfortable. I gasp when we pull up to the restaurant. “Jason, how did you get a reservation?! Oh my god!!!” He runs his hand through his hair and for half a second looks shy. “Well I am an adopted son of Bruce Wayne….Not gonna lie he called. Hahaha.” I just grinned. “Thank you. I am so excited.” “Alright well then lets go. I haven’t had good sushi since Bruce took us all to Japan.” “Same.” I agreed. Believe me there are some great places to get sushi in Gotham but once you have the real deal it is all a pale comparison, though they are fine in a pinch. The valet comes over as Jason helps me out of the car, as I stand and Jason closes the door, he just stares. Jason clears his throat, “Yeah she is hot as hell, but she is mine. Here are the keys. Don’t scratch my car.” As we walk away Jason offers me his arm and I gladly take it. We are ushered in and suddenly it's like we are in Japan again. I gasp. “This is beautiful. But could we get a couple of waters and a bottle of your best sake please.” I smile up at them trying my best to keep calm, something about the women irking my soul. For a moment they don’t move but when Jason says nothing they rush away. After they leave we start looking at the menu, and let me tell you they have everything. I let the shit with the waitresses fade. A guy brings over our drinks and sets up the sake for us. Jason gives him a nod and he is off, we fall into the easiness that is our whole relationship and I couldn't be happier. Finally the waitress comes back over, let me rephrase the three waitresses. Jason gets up and leans over “I’ll be right back. Bathroom.” I nod. Once he is out of sight one of them says “We will just wait until he comes back to take the order.” I look at them shocked. “No. I am ordering for both of us. If you are too focused on gawking at my fiance, I will find other servers or preferably just one server who can do their job.” Needless to say that dinner went smoothly after that. However it really doesn’t help with how I’d been feeling.

He is clearly not interested so could you just give us our ice cream so we can go?” The girl snarls. Fucking snarls at me. “I wasn’t doing anything that concerned you. So mind your business.” That’s it. I snatch the front of her uniform slamming her head into the counter. “Everything about him is my business you two bit hussy. He is MY fiance!” I turn and storm out of the place while she cries on the floor. Jason quickly catches up and herds me into an alley caging me with his body. “Hey now what the hell was all that about?” His voice is low and slightly concerned. I just sigh, pushing him away. “It's nothing, let's just go home.” He doesn’t even budge. Well fuck. “Don’t lie to me. I am usually the one doing face bashing. What is going on with you?” I cross my arms over my chest feeling a little defensive. “Damn it J ! The past few weeks it's like you have been a chick magnet and women are constantly ignoring the fact that I am even around. If they aren’t ignoring me they are giving me dirty looks and making asshole comments. It’s frustrating and kinda hurtful.” He still doesn't move. Damn it he knows me to well. "okay let me count. There was two weeks ago at the sushi place. Later that night on patrol. The next day that woman dropped a stack of books as SHE bumped into you and got all giggly. Couple days after that when we went to the mall women were either eye fucking you or flirting. not to mention that in every store they were rude about my size and basically refused to help. There was a few quite days because we didn't go anywhere. Then yesterday that lady slipped her friggin underwear in your jacket pocket . And today this!" It felt really good to get it all out. For a moment he just stares hotly at me with those 10 fathom sea eyes and I almost forget about all of the bull crap. I forget everything when he cups my cheek and kisses me hard and long. When I am panting for breath he pulls away. “Let me tell you,” his voice dark and husky, “there are more women in the world than men. But there is only one woman that I care about and it is the curvy, sexy, strong, badass little firecracker I have in my arms. Next time give me a tap or something and I can make it blatantly obvious that I am now and forever in love with you.” I can’t help the way my face breaks out in a goofy grin. “I love you too.” He pulls away grinning, “Come on let's go home, I’m sure Alfred has our favorite ice cream anyway, besides I have plans for every inch of your body.”

Episode 11 is as though Chris decides to salvage his safe box of suppressed trauma from the depths of the ocean to show us what’s inside before he proceeds to dump it again, but this time dragging all of us along with it. Enough said.

Spoilers under the cut...

Chris’ past and motivation reveal is bittersweet, and endearing (bratty baby Chris!), but nothing too unexpected. It’s more interesting to note that Chris never said that he’s planning to X-hand with 4-of-a-kind like Tyler did, but is aiming for an “X-blind” instead. Which, coincidentally is also something Ban wants, hence probably why the Klondikes are siding with him for now. What is it, really, and what’s its consequence? The question remains.

And while we’re at that, what the hell is that explosion that Chris got caught up in? Are explosions just common occurrence in Fourland? Lol

Yay me, I was right in guessing that the package was sent to Chelsea! He deserves the slap big time though lmao.

I didn’t see Lindsey of all people coming, but it’s a nice surprise! Is there a significance in the number 200,000 that Chris gave? Was it mentioned anywhere earlier? I feel like it was.

Unexpectedly the scene that wrecked me is Finn’s slight pause after saying “Chris is my...” followed by “he has Michelle as his family, though”. What’s wrong with the two of you...? Finn and Chris cares deeply about each other yet their relationship is something deliciously complicated... these two can make me laugh as well as cry the most...

Leo biting his nail and getting teased by both Vijay and Wendy owns my heart.

The part where Chris says “You too... wants to be back together?” but in the end hardens his resolve is so stupidly dramatic in a good kind of way. (Yes, together! I yelled from the other side of the screen, Finn is such a mood these days).

So... at its core, High Card is about family? Found family? Or how you define family? Totally my jam.

Owen finally does show up at last minute only to headshot Chris is hilarious. The entire sequence was so cool not gonna lie. At least we get to hear Chris’ iconic line again and now I’m sure that Owen owns a Diamond card.

What to look forward for next week: A second season lmao.

At this point I’m not sure where this is going. At first I thought for sure that Chris is going to side with the Klondikes, but... he isn’t? He’s more of a wild card? Jokes aside, I guess we’re going to find out what X-blind is soon. And wtf do you mean next ep is legit titled “FINN”? Lmao staff really said do not separate these two.

But if I had to make a wild guess. Considering how stubborn the entire High Card members are, and assuming that Finn is sitting in passenger’s seat in the PV, what about all of them defecting from Pinochle and becoming nationwide group of fugitives, Bonnie and Clyde style? And also Finn’s big bro reveal at some point, because, come on. Chris needs a contender!

Speaking of Chris, if you pay close attention, I think this episode is the first time ever we see something narrated from his perspective. Manga is Percy-centric, novel is Leo-centric, most of the short stories are Finn-centric but none is narrated by Chris even if he appeared in most of them! We even had one from Vijay’s, the canon token mysterious dude, but not a single one from Chris. Sure, he talks a lot in this ep and it goes against the “show not tell” rule, but it’s somewhat special if you put that fact into consideration.
