"Get up."
Endeavor sneered down at his son, kicking him in the stomach again.
"You must surpass All Might."
Across the city, flowers inked themselves across your stomach, revealing your soulmate trait.
─── ⋅ ∙ ∘ ☽ ༓ ☾ ∘ ⋅ ⋅ ───
"Shut the fuck up!"
Your mother hissed at you, dragging you by your arm down the stairs.
"Your siblings are trying to sleep."
Hysterical, you sobbed and thrashed trying to escape.
"Mommy I'm sorry please I'll be quiet please just let me go back to bed-"
"I don't believe you."
She threw you into the small basement closet and locked the door.
"I'll be back when you're ready to be quiet."
Blossoms curled across Todoroki's shoulder and arm.
─── ⋅ ∙ ∘ ☽ ༓ ☾ ∘ ⋅ ⋅ ───
"If I raise him now, it'll be bad-"
"Mommy?"
Todoroki asked, poking his head around the corner.
The kettle whistled.
Slowly turning, Rei Todoroki spotted her son, but all she could see was a bright turquoise eye.
Picking up the kettle, she slowly approached him.
"Mommy?"
He asked again, backing up, but not leaving.
He knew something was wrong, but despite the alarm bells ringing in his head he wanted to stay and help, because he loved her.
And he continued to love her even after the searing pain of the boiling water.
Even after she scarred him, he continued to love her, because if he didn't, he wouldn't have anyone to consider a parent.
For months a red flower remained inked over your left eye.
─── ⋅ ∙ ∘ ☽ ༓ ☾ ∘ ⋅ ⋅ ───
"Stay in your room until I come get you. How did I give birth to such an awful human being? How could you make your little brother cry. Stay here until I can stomach seeing you again."
Turning to leave, your mother was stopped when you flung your small body at her and clutched her leg.
"Mommy I'm so so sorry, I swear I'll be better! I didn't mean to make him cry! Please just give me another cha-"
You were cut off as your mother kicked you off her leg and stomped down on your chest before wordlessly turning and locking the door behind her.
You curled in on yourself, trying to remember how to breathe, your chest on fire.
A cluster of flowers in the shape of a slippered foot unfurled across Todoroki's sternum.
─── ⋅ ∙ ∘ ☽ ༓ ☾ ∘ ⋅ ⋅ ───
For years and years, the only communication you had with your soulmate was flowers in the shape of bruises, the two of you sending them back and forth, back and forth.
Your soulmate trait made it so if either of you were injured, the other would have flowers inked across their body until the person who was injured healed.
The fates must have been in an ironic mood when they gave the two of you, two abused children living sad and loveless lives, that trait.
But at least it allowed you to recognize your soulmate immediately.
The first time you met Todoroki Shouto, you knew he was your soulmate. After all, the injury that caused his scar had been inked on your face for months, so of course you would recognize it.
After your first day at UA, you quietly asked if you could talk to him somewhere private.
Suspiciously he agreed, so the two of you walked to a park.
"I'm pretty sure you're my soulmate."
You blurted, wincing at how blunt you sounded.
He stared coldly at you.
"What makes you think that?"
You nervously explained your soulmate trait, and told him about the flower that had adorned your left eyes for several months when you were around six.
"Do you have a bruise on your right elbow?"
He asked impatiently.
"Right now-yes. Yeah I do."
He gave you a curt nod.
"Then we're probably soulmates. I have a flower on my right elbow right now."
You smiled at him shyly.
"Nice to meet you-"
He cut you off.
"I don't have time, or a need for a soulmate."
You stopped, not sure you heard him right.
"I don't need or want a soulmate. I have to work hard and surpass All Might. A relationship with you would just hold me back."
Tears crawled up your throat and burned the backs of your eyes.
"R-right! Of course! No I-I completely understand! I'll let you go on your way now. Sorry for wasting your time."
Turning you walked briskly away, not brave enough to look back or wait for a response.
Wiping your eyes on the sleeve of your blazer you took a deep breath.
It was okay. It made sense after all. He had seen all of the bruises and cuts and scrapes you worked so hard to hide from the public. Of course he wouldn't want you. It was obvious that your mother didn't, so why would he.
You were okay with this. You would have to be.
─── ⋅ ∙ ∘ ☽ ༓ ☾ ∘ ⋅ ⋅ ───
"I would like to apologize and try to be friends."
You stared blankly at the dual-toned boy standing in front of you.
"...What?"
You asked, confused.
"Why."
After Todoroki had returned from his internship in Hosu, he had asked to meet you in the park where you talked the first time.
At first you had hesitated, but he seemed sincere, so you eventually agreed.
"After the Sports Festival, and my encounter with Stain, I realized that I've been a little..."
"Cold? Harsh? Unfeeling?"
You offered, a little peeved.
He winced.
"Yes...All of the above."
Then he squared his shoulders and bowed.
"I sincerely apologize for being so insensitive. I need to work some things out in myself before I'm ready to even consider a romantic relationship, however I would like to become friends with you and get to know you better."
You take a moment to process what he just said.
Hope bubbles in you, beautiful and bright. Maybe there was a future in which you could learn what it felt like to be loved.
"Stand up."
You said softly, fidgeting with your hair.
He straightened, looking into your eyes.
Was that...nervousness you detected?
"I forgive you. And...I would like to get to know you as well. So why don't we start over?"
He exhales in relief.
"That sounds perfect."
You smiled at him and introduced yourself.
He smiled back.
"It's nice to meet you. My name is Todoroki Shoto."
─── ⋅ ∙ ∘ ☽ ༓ ☾ ∘ ⋅ ⋅ ───
Okay I really really really want to make a part two of this where they finally become a couple. Should I? Thanks for requesting this anon! I had a lot of fun writing it!

Love will always exists
Villain!Todoroki x oc
Fandom: my hero academia
Warnings: gaslighting, kissing scene
—————
Perhaps it was just fate. Perhaps it was just meant to be. No one really knew. They did know: if that day only didn’t happen, things would have turned out very differently.
When was it the last time she heard of him anyway? 5 years? Or was it 7? She doesn’t remember. And she doesn’t want to either. She remembered everything. How the two of them would find comfort in each other, how they wouldn’t judge each other. How he confessed his love for her and vice versa.
It wasn’t until his brother died. Not talking about Natsuo, but about Touya. Well, he would ho by the name ‘Dabi’ now. Instead of trying to kill him, Dabi went to see Shoto himself and reveal his true identity. No one really knows what he said to his brother, but it was good enough to set him on the path of the villain.
“T-Todoroki…”, the telekinesis hero, Sapphire Witch said. She never expected for him to ever show up ever again. Why did she stop in her tracks right then and there? She couldn’t believe what she saw.
The boy in front of her could only smile. It wasn’t an evil one, far from it even. He was just so happy he could see his love again, even if they were now complete opposites of one other.
“I'm happy to see you again, my love”, he said softly as he walked up to her. Tammin couldn’t even process what was going on right now. She was so busy with what happened these last few years and the hero work, she totally forgot about the changed man in front of her.
She hasn’t seen him ever since the war ended. Both have changed a lot, and not only by appearance.
“Why are you here… How did you get in here?”, she mumbled. She had this urge to hug him, even after all the evil that he has done.
“I wanted to see you. Wanting to know how you’re doing”, he said as he walked closer to the woman in front of him. She still looks so beautiful as he remembers.
“How I am? What about you? What went through your head when you decided to kill your father? What went through your head when you killed all those innocent people? What went through your head when you left all of us…”, the woman mumbled, being close to tears.
“You won’t understand it, my love. My father was an awful man. My siblings and I are the living proof of that. Thanks to Touya, I finally had the courage to end Endeavor myself. Know that he abused every single one of us, and he would’ve done it again too had his goal not been achieved”, Shoto said.
“I can understand that he was an asshole and deserved worse, I’m not denying that. But what about the bystanders? Why were they killed? They were just innocent people!”, Tammin said as her voice raised.
He sighed. “The thrill of killing, it’s… Addicting if that’s the right word. Knowing that you finally can control what you are doing in your life and what you want to do with it, it’s an amazing feeling”, he whispered as he pulled the girl closer to him, grabbing her hand.
‘Come on, why don’t you turn him in yet? He is one of the most wanted villains, and yet you are here doing nothing!’, Tammin thought. She just couldn’t attack the man she once fell in love with.
“You don’t think I’m a monster, right? You can understand why I did those things now, do you? Don’t turn me in. I’m still Shoto Todoroki, your highschool sweetheart, right?”, he said as he caressed her cheek.
‘What am I doing?…’, she thought. Moments like this are the reason why she can’t do anything. Love is always going to be her weakness.
“I…”, she started, but a pair of lips softly kissed hers. She didn't know what to do, so she softly kissed him back as well. The kiss still feels like the first time she kissed him. Full of love and sweetness. It was clear he had no evil intent for her.
He separated the kiss and smiled again, but it looked more like a smirk. “See? It’s still me”, he whispered, only for a phone to start ringing.
“If it is your work, don’t tell them that I was here okay? I have to go now. I will see you again soon, my love”, Shoto said before he left.
Tammin wiped the tears away as he saw him leave and picked up the phone.
“Yo dumbass! The agency likes to know if you have seen or heard something from icy-hot! They got some new news of where he would be!”, her best friend’s voice came from the phone.
“Wish I did Kitty”, Tammin said, making the man behind the phone frown and pissed at the nickname.
“Either it’s Dynamight, or Katsuki! Don’t ‘Kitty’ me!”, Katsuki Bakugou, also known as Pro Hero Dynamight said.
After a few seconds, they hung up. Tammin felt ashamed of herself, she is betraying every hero in existence. And she knows she will continue to do so.
Cause she knows, she will always love Shoto Todoroki.

So this has probably been said but.
You’re on Your Own, Kid + Dabi
I know, I know. But just hear me out. I’m aware the first couple verses come across as romantic- sort of like a high school unrequited crush, but I feel like we can also use it in terms of Touya and Endeavor, a child and an estranged parent, instead of a romantic tone. Obviously I’m picking and choosing from the lyrics but, still. I think about a lot of characters from a lot of fandoms when I hear this song and Dabi is definitely one of them. (And shinsou too but that’s another post honestly)
Summer went away Still, the yearning stays I play it cool with the best of them I wait patiently He's gonna notice me It's okay, we're the best of friends Anyway
OkAy so, will I ever get over the fact that touya is perhaps the only one who actually had endeavor’s love and then subsequently lost it? Who actually has memories of when endeavor could have been called a "good dad?" No. Never.
The experiences the todoroki children have are all different but still equally tragic. One’s pain does not lessen the other’s. Fyuumi had been neglected and has eldest daughter syndrome. She had to raise her brothers, practically on her own, and copes by desperately wanting that picture perfect family. Natsuo, also neglected, lost his favorite sibling and had to see the results of training on touya knowing nothing he could do would change it. He has to see it again with Shoto. Shoto was raised as a weapon, a tool, and was isolated. He lost his mother for a while in an excruciatingly painful way. Touya had his fathers love. They were best friends. Touya worshipped his father. The lines, "I wait patiently/he’s gonna notice me/it’s okay we’re the best of friends” hits so hard because he had endeavor's love, his pride, and then, because of his quirk-body incompatabilty, he lost it--he thinks he's lost it to shoto.
I think touya was his dads favorite but that’s not a good or positive thing. I think he’s a favorite in a way that I can’t explain. “You’ve died, you’re not changing, you will always remember me a certain way but I can love on and reframe the story here” kind of way. A “you were my masterpiece and my first born and my best friend and I adored you and then you you weren’t enough so you were a failure” way. A “you became a cross for me to crucify myself on, you made me a martyr” type of way. He was his favorite but that doesn’t mean touya had it easy or that his pains not valid.
(also the fact it can be argued that touya still had his dad's love even after shoto was born, and was his father's favorite--that touya was the one kid endeavor really loved, terribly shown as it was elevates the tragedy here because it does not excuse endeavor's actions--or lack of, in case of fyuumi and natsuo. they were his kids too, and just because he's making amends now does not wash away his role in dabi's spiral)
I didn't choose this town I dream of getting out There's just one who could make me stay
this just pains me because--there were people who couldn't make touya stay. natsuo couldn't. fyuumi couldn't. the "one who could make me stay" was endeavor. he could have, had he just watched touya, had he seen him-but he didn't. maybe he thought it would dissuade touya's goals, but whatever his intentions are, it doesn't matter. touya wanted his dad to see him. and he didn't.
Even worse? maybe they (the rest of the fam) could have been able to make him stay. If they had only listened to and validated him instead of pretending everything was alright.
From sprinkler splashes to fireplace ashes I waited ages to see you there I search the party of better bodies Just to learn that you never cared
just--"better bodies" being bodies more suited for their quirks. bodies that won't burn up under the intesity of their own flames because they were made for ice. "just to learn that you never cared"--touya thinking his body, his "failure" has been abandoned in favor of shoto's strong quirk. just to learn you never cared? touya coming back home after waking up from his coma, just to find that nothing has changed.
I see the great escape So long, Daisy May I picked the petals, he loves me not Something different bloomed Writing in my room I play my songs in the parking lot I'll run away
just--touya coming home and then leaving because nothing changed. "something different bloomed" just--he's been out, probably homeless, and then working jobs for giran, for a while now. and then a few years down the line he starts hearing about "false heroes" and stain. he hears about the lov. he sees a means to an end--he's dying, he knows this, he was never meant to live past a few months when he ran away after his coma, ujiko said so himself, but. the only think keeping him alive is spite and the will to avenge himself, to take down endeavor. he's dying, but he'll take endeavor down with him.
From sprinkler splashes to fireplace ashes I gave my blood, sweat, and tears for this I hosted parties and starved my body Like I'd be saved by a perfect kiss
literally giving his blood and sweat--and his tears! because he's burned out his tear ducts, he cannot cry anymore, but you can tell. by the brightness of his flames, by his scars, that yes, he's still crying, still screaming, giving everything for this.
The jokes weren't funny, I took the money My friends from home don't know what to say I looked around in a blood-soaked gown And I saw something they can't take away
literally being the number two villain, shiggy's second, doing whatever he can, and then. the video. the reveal. no one knows what to say--a lot of people, they are horrified but not for him, they are horrified of him. endeavor supporters still exist, but he still has done something. he's shaken the public's belief--and maybe it won't be permanent, but he doesn't care. he's killed endeavor. now he just has to kill enji.
You're on your own, kid Yeah, you can face this You're on your own, kid You always have been
just- touya from sekoto peak to the coma of THREE (iirc) YEARS to seeing nothing changed back home to being homeless and doing jobs for giran to the league and caring for them but keeping them at a length in a way because he's not long for this world and he can't get sidetracked--and then losing twice and the league is falling apart and it's him, and endeavor, once more.

It was a 'regular' evening for the middle child of Bruce Wayne. If you could call it normal. Y/N was a successful businesswoman. She made her own company focusing on cars clothing and housing. She's an entrepreneur. A force to be reckoned with scaring her 4 brothers. Tiny yet very mighty. Watch out boys she'll be coming for you. In a sparkly red dress and five-inch red bottoms. Anyways Y/N is hosting her first fundraiser in Japan as that's where she is taking care of her mother and grandmother. She's invited UA, rich businessmen and women, her family, the top pros, and of course company's that support her.
I was making my rounds saying my thanks and greetings for coming to my first fundraiser. You see I was raising money for my mother's hospital she had to reside for 5 years. Now she's out and I want to do something to give back to the place that helped her get back on her feet. I had introduced myself to some people that I'd never met but I knew I needed to make a good first impression on them because they are so important in the business industry. I was walking and I saw one of the UA students Shoto Todoroki. I'd been dating him for a year. I've known him for a while as my grandmother worked at the mental institution his mother resided at. He was talking to who seemed to be the know number-one hero Endeavor and Natsuo and Fuyumi Todoroki. He was also talking to Deku who he would talk to me about. "Father you should at least consider donating this is a very important event to the host," Shoto said. Endeavor glared at the boy, "I'll use my money however I want and I won't use it for this silly little thing that is just a waste." The nerve of this guy time to work my charm. I slipped past the older siblings. "Hello, I'm the host and founder of this event. I just couldn't help but hear that you think this a 'silly little event' *chuckles* that's quite a gag. However, let me tell you, sir. This isn't silly nor little. I've already managed to raise over 5 million dollars. That's far more than anyone in this room could make in a single day. Unless your last name is Wayne then you probably do make that in a day, maybe even double that. That's not my point though. My point is that if you donate that I'll double that to any organization of your choice. My offer stands till the end of the night." I explained in full detail. It had to work. "You?" I smiled and nodded. "Who are you anyways, how could you double any amount I'd offer?" I smiled and chuckled. "Sir you just talked to the most prestigious person in this room. I'm Y/F/N Wayne. Bruce Wayne's daughter. I'm also CEO of the company Future World Designs." He looked down to my 4' 11" height and paled. "You?" I nodded again. "1,000,000 dollars to UA student alliance." I took out my hand waiting for a handshake. Shoto looked at me and smiled. A real smile. "Oh father before I go and converse with other people I want to introduce you to my girlfriend. Father this is Y/N my girlfriend. Her grandmother was the one to bring us together." I chuckled at the thought, "You gotta admit Sho, my grandmother is probably the most amazingly magical person to ever walk the earth. She's also very scary. Crossing her is like going to hell and being beat up by the devil. A dangerous game if i could have a say." He laughed his angelic laugh and smiled and nodded. "She dragged me to see my mom that one day. Never again am I ever going to underestimate her." I smiled at him and took his hand.
On the other side of the room.
"So Jason, chances of your sister not cutting my dick off if I flirt with her and apologize to her?" Jason looked at Roy and raised an eyebrow. "She won't cut your dick off-" "Okay good. I'm gonna make her mine again." Stupid Roy cut off Jason. He should've listened. Jason ran to his adopted father. "Yo B, we got a Code White." Bruce raised his eyebrow. "Is this a drill?" Jason shook his head in fear. "Okay. I've got a plan. I'll go over to her and intervene Roy. While you start singing the song." The song you ask? Simply, it's a song with a code to relay to some of the JL members that shit is about to go down. "Okay."
So you say you really miss me? (Aah)
Well, that makes me laugh
'Cause you miss the way I let you walk over me
Broke ever bone in my back
I was walking towards Y/N planning to intercept Roy. He was not going to start shit. I'm not letting the lowlife ruin my daughter's fundraiser.
So you wanna reminisce things? Huh (aah)
Well don't come around here with that
If we went through your phony excuses
I bet it won't change the past
My little girl won't get hurt by the one who pushed her off the edge.
Closed for the weekend
Don't you apologize
I know you don't mean it
I quit
Here's to the "no"s
To the "I think you should go"s
To the "leave her ass alone"s
To the "no boy can demand her body, her spirit, her love"
Oh-oh
Here's to the "no"s
To the "walk yourself on home"s
To the "keeping on her clothes"
To the "highs without the lows"
To the "no man can demand her body, her spirit, her love"
Oh-oh. I've had enough
She's not going to get hurt. I reached her and poked her shoulder making her turn around "Daddy! Your here!" I smiled and hugged her. "Of course I am. Anything for my little girl."
So you're claiming you're a martyr? What?
Like, she doesn't have a clue
Too bad she's smarter, be discreetly a started
We're staring right at the proof
"Uhh, daddy? Why's Jason singing I've had enough by Melanie KB?" Sweat dripped down. Shit, she knows. "Uhhh well Jason loves the song and he wants to sing it." "Fair enough. It's Jason we're talking about" wheew
Closes for forever (uh-huh)
I'm done with shutting up
I've learned a lot better
Listen
Here's to the "no"s
To the "I think you should go"s
(I think you should go)
To the "leave her ass alone"s
To the hanging up the phone"s
To the "no man can demand her body, her spirit, her love"
Oh-oh
Here's to the "no"s
Here's to the "walk yourself on home"s
To the "keeping on her clothes"
To the "highs without the lows"
To the "no man can demand her body, her spirt, her love, love, love"
"Wait Roys trying to get back to me? Isn't he? I'm going up there and finishing this. Shoto, can you escort me to the stage please plus it's coming to closing time as well." Shoto nodded his head and escorted me onto the stage. "Roy Harper are you listening to me? Well this aimed at you."
If you're so mature now
Then I think it's time you grow up
Admit you did it
We all know you did it
And yet you still gaslight me up
You are such a flame out
You only drive lefts in the bed
(Your only drive lefts in the bed)
I don't deserve this
And for your next girlfriend
You need to treat her with respect
Here's to my girls
Standing up for what they're worth
Yeah, you know who run the world
I am ready to be heard
No man can demand my body, my spirit, my love ( my body, my spirit, my love)
Oh-oh
And for the boys
Who don't care who they destroy
Told us "no" was not a choice
You cannot silence our voice
No man can demand our bodies, our spirit, our love
Oh-oh, we've had enough
Like and comment for part 2!

Drew this in reaction to Chapter 350! If Touya heard Enji call him an almost perfect creation, I get that he wasn‘t ecstatic about returning.
fun fact, the font used for this is called „I know a ghost“

Tumblr media
“You’re thinking of going to U.A.?”
Raising a brow at the clear, distinct surprise on your sisters face, you let out a small shrug. “I am going,” you correct, poking at your dinner with mild interest. “I already received my acceptance letter earlier this evening.”
Fuyumi’s eyes practically bulge; “why didn’t you tell me!”
“I--”
“--Tell you what?”
Eyes instantly brightening with excitement, distracted from your sister for a moment, you let out a grin at the sight of Natsu poking his head into the dining room. It’s been a while since you’d last seen your brother, and you practically leap to your feet without a seconds hesitation at the sight of him. “Natsu-nii! You made it!”
“Well, duh,” he grins down at you, all wide eyed and goofy looking just as he always is when it comes to you, his precious little sister. “So,” he continues after a small pause, “did you get in?”
“I did--!”
“--You told Natsu but not your only sister!”
Turning to Fuyumi, you pause, a bit of guilt festering in your chest. Avoiding her gaze, you fiddle with the tips of your fingers, biting your lip. “I wanted to surprise you,” you shrug, voice quiet. “Besides, I thought you’d tried to talk me out of it is all.”
Her face falls, and she slumps back down, “I... I just didn’t think you’d wanted to go there.”
Meeting Natsu’s gaze, before letting out a small puff of air and taking your seat in front of Fuyumi once more, you reach across the table to set your hand in her own. Her gaze flickers to your own, and upon meeting them, you send her a soft smile. “I didn’t, I guess,” you shrug, “at least, dad made me feel like I couldn’t. You guys know how it is...”
They don’t say anything, but you can see it in their eyes.
“But then, I thought about it, and I realized I could do it if I really tried.”
And at the looks they send you, you falter.
“...Right?”
“O-Of course!” Fuyumi all but sputters as Natsu nods eagerly, a little too quick but it’s endearing enough for it to bring a soft smile to your face. And then, Fuyumi’s squeezing your hand tightly, pulling your focus back on her solely as she smiles gently; “you can do anything you set your mind to, Y/N/N.”
“Ah!!” Natsu suddenly calls, voice booming as he wraps a tight arm around your shoulders, pulling you flush against his side. “I can’t believe both of my younger siblings are going to go to the prestigious U.A.!”
You let out a small giggle, shaking your head.
“That reminds me,” Fuyumi pauses, pressing a finger to her lips in thought. “Does Shoto know?”
Your smile falters, a frown falling over your features as you glance down to your lap. “No,” you mumble, “I hardly see him, and when I do it’s really only pleasantries. I doubt we’ll be in the same class anyways,” you shrug, “he might not even notice I’m there.”
“He would be proud of you, Y/N, you know that.”
I do know that, you frown, doesn’t make it any less awkward.
Waving her off, you shake your head; “I’ll tell him eventually. Or, at least, he’ll find out eventually,” then, pausing, you frown. “Dad doesn’t know either, so just kind of... don’t say anything.”
Natsu and Fuyumi glance at each other, but otherwise nod.
You all knew how he’d react if he ever found out. He will eventually, that you know, but you’d like to put it off for as long as possible. You’d rather avoid his rage for getting in the way of his precious star-in-the-making, Shoto, for as long as humanely possible.
You know, in your heart, he at least, would’ve never be proud of you.
You’re the defect.
-
“You’re the pretty girl who saved my life in the exam!”
Blinking in surprise at the sudden voice, and the sudden shadow falling in front of you, having only taken one step into the classroom at that point. You’re both pleasantly surprised and somewhat taken aback at the sight of a familiar face. It was hard not to remember such bright red spiky hair, and not to mention his wonderfully expressive eyes.
His sharp teeth shining brightly in his smile were a give away too.
Letting out a soft, somewhat embarrassed smile, you rub at the back of your neck. “I hardly saved your life,” you let out a quiet laugh. “I’m sure the school took precautions against any severe--”
“You stopped that point zero enemy from falling on me,” he cuts in, grinning brightly as he holds his hand out towards him. “I’m Kirishima Eijirou, it’s nice to properly meet you.”
You weren’t expecting such a warm welcome. Honestly, you were expecting to kind of just stay in the shadows, avoid attention -- it’s something you’re pretty good at, considering most of the time the attention wasn’t on you anyways. And it was where you were most comfortable. Hidden, quiet and just watching; observing.
But you’d be lying if you said that this boys welcome wasn’t both incredibly kind and warming to the heart.
Maybe he naturally had that kind of effect on people.
“I’m Y/N,” you introduce, purposely avoiding your last name. You didn’t really like to mention that you were related to the number two hero whatsoever. Especially not here. “Just Y/N.”
He grins brightly, “I can’t believe we ended up in the same class. I’ve been wanting to properly thank you since then.”
He steps back, allowing you room to enter the class. Your cheeks flush lightly at his words, brushing a strand of your hair neatly behind your ear, moving to reply as your eyes move to flicker across the entire classroom. Your intention is to see who else in your class, really, but your attention is instantly stolen when you notice a familiar head of distinctive red and white hair.
You’d recognize that hair anywhere.
And his eyes are already on your own, meeting your surprised ones with his lips parted slightly. Honestly, from what little you’ve seen of your brother, he doesn’t often express his emotions (not that you blame him) and this is the most reaction you’ve seen out of him for as long as you can remember. The slight widening of his eyes, the parted lips.
He obviously hadn’t expected to see you here. Which, was fair, given that you hadn’t told him despite Fuyumi practically ordering you too. You barely spoke to Shoto anymore, so how were you supposed to bring that up?
“Oh, hey, Shoto. I know we barely know each other despite being twins, but just so you know, I’m also going to U.A. Not through recommendation like you, but I passed the exam. Though you should know. Okay, bye.”
Yeah, awkward.
What’re the odds that you’d end up in his class of all things though.
So much for telling him on your own.
Your lips part to speak, to say something, though you’re not really sure what, but then he’s turning his head, as if uninterested, and simply moving back to looking out the window.
It’s hard to ignore the pang of hurt that hits you.
“--Y/N... ouch, you’re so hot!”
You’re pulled from your thoughts at the feeling of a hand on your shoulder. Turning your head, you blink at Kirishima’s own concerned gaze on you, his gaze flickering from you to his slightly burning hand. You’d forgotten that you’d literally been in the middle of a conversation with him.
Flushing, you shake your head; “I’m sorry,” you call, touching his hand gently, “I get really warm when I’m upset.”
And at the look he sends you, you sigh. “I’m okay,” you adamantly shake your head, and though he looks like he wants to argue, he doesn’t. And you’re quick to change the topic of conversation. “And besides, you don’t have to thank me. You were pretty amazing too, if I remember correctly you came second for the exam, didn’t you?”
His face turns red; “y-yes but that’s only--”
“--Go somewhere else if you want to play at being friends.”
The voice is quiet, but it’s enough of a shock to pull yours and Kirishima’s attention towards it. Your head turns, noticing three people gathered by the door to the classroom, and, in front of them, on the ground, is a man huddled up in a yellow sleeping bag. Looking entirely too... creepy.
“This is the hero course,” he continues, unperturbed by the gazes he receives. He moves to unzip some of his sleeping bag, pulling out a juice box and slurping from it before continuing, moving to a stand. “Okay, it took eight seconds before you were quiet,” he calls, stepping out of the sleeping bag. “Time is limited. You kids are not rational enough.”
“He looks really tired, doesn’t he?”
Pausing at Kirishima’s whispered words, you slowly nod. He does look extremely worn out.
“I’m your homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa. Nice to meet you,” he introduces himself. “It’s kind of sudden, but put this on and go out onto the field.” You eye the blue, red and white outfit in his hands.
Slowly, you blink over at Kirishima, whose face mimics your own.
-
You’re confident enough in your skills not to come in dead last.
You’ve spent enough of your life doubting your own skills, and expecting to always lose in the face of others. And you’d made a vow to yourself when you decided to enter U.A. that you wouldn’t let your lack of confidence get in the way of what you aspired to do.
Your powers might not be what expected of a child of the number two hero Endeavor, nonetheless when paired with a ice quirk like your mother. You might be a defect in the eyes of your own father. Maybe sometimes in the eyes of your own siblings. But your powers were enough, more than enough, and you didn’t come here just to get a little scared at the first test of your strength.
Still, this is the first time Shoto’s seen your powers since you were both four years old and they manifested for the first time.
He might not even remember.
And, despite everything, in comparison to his powers, yours were... nothing special.
Standing next to both a pink haired and pink skinned girl, you can’t help but, almost unconsciously, glance behind yourself to where your brother stands. He’s barely paying you any mind, which in of itself isn’t that surprising. He’s not even really watching what’s happening, and instead is probably thinking of himself, of what he’s going to do.
You may not know your brother very well anymore, be connected to him in any possible way, but you take inspiration in knowing how he’ll probably use his quirk. After all, you’d watched him use it enough times as a little girl to know.
Taking a deep breath in, you ignore your own nerves, the many pairs of eyes closely watching you, and instead focus on yourself. However, you’d be lying if the smile and thumbs up that you notice Kirishima sending your way doesn’t do anything to help build your confidence.
“On your mark... get set...”
The marker goes off, and instantly you send what should be ice out through your hands and feet. But just at the point of contact, the heat in your body melts it to nothing but water. It’s a defect, true, but you’ve mastered your power and learned to turn it into something that you can use.
And in this moment, the melted ice that escapes your feet helps you slide along the dirt path in no more than five seconds.
Mina finishing just a little after you.
“Woah! A water quirk!”
You blink, Mina running up to you with a bright smile and twinkling eyes. “That was so cool how you used it,” she continues to gush, not giving you the time to say anything in response. “I would’ve used my quirk like that, but... I was scared of melting the ground...” And to demonstrate, she produces acid from her fingers, a steam enveloping seconds after.
Your eyes widen. “Woah,” you cry out, grabbing her hand and pulling it close to get a better look, “acid!”
She lets out a laugh, just as the marker for the next contestants rings off. Distantly, you notice a blond boy soaring through the hair with explosions protruding from his hands, and a green-haired boy running quite a few steps behind him.
“I’m Ashido Mina,” she greets, extending her hand towards you, teeth shining. “And thank you,” with a light flush, she rubs the back of her neck.
“Y/N,” you smile at her, “but you can call me Y/N/N if you’d like.”
She laughs with a nod, shaking your hand vigorously and warmth blooms in your chest at how friendly everyone’s been so far. You’ve always been so awkward and shy when it comes to introducing yourself, which was part of the reason why you’d expected to just keep to yourself when coming to U.A..
But, you don’t really mind maybe making some friends. Especially given you’ve never really had any.
As Mina falls next to you, and Aizawa moves to explain the next test, you nod to yourself when you are able to do what you feared you wouldn’t be able to. You’ve spent many months training your quirk, learning how to use it, albeit on your own, and that had made you afraid. Sure, you’d been accepted into U.A. and that has to mean something...
but how would you do when actually there? When faced with what was expected of you.
It may have only been the first test, but you were proud of yourself nonetheless.
The test continues on that way. You don’t excel in any that brings all the attention on you, but you don’t fall last every time. And it was certainly an interesting experience enough to see everyone’s quirk.
When the fourth final test comes, the ball throw, the green-haired boy from before, that you’d learned was named Midoriya, is the last to step up. He’s yet to show his quirk, which you know has not only you but quite a lot of your classmates curious on what it could possibly be.
Only, when he’s about to throw and you’re sure he’s about to use his quirk, as you see these glowy veins appear across his entire skin, it disappears just as quick and he only throws about forty-six meters.
Your teacher, who turns to be an underground hero called Eraserhead, which you’re sure you’ve heard here and there, ends up cancelling Midoriya’s quirk -- using his quirk. Explaining that he won’t be able to use his quirk if all that ever happens is he ends up hurting himself and breaking his arms, treating him harshly as he all but spits the words.
He tells him that he can’t become a hero.
You find it harsh. Cruel. Taken too far. And maybe it’s the part of you that remembers how many times you’ve been told in your life you’ll never become the hero you want to be.
“You’re just a defect.”
“Not worth my time.”
“You’ll never be a hero worth caring about.”
So, when Midoriya shocks the class by forcing all of his power into just his finger, somehow breaking his body in a controlled way, and rivaling the distance of none other than the blonde boy, Bakugo, you can’t help but feel a surge of inspiration in response.
Maybe even a little pride despite barely knowing him.
To have those words said directly to his face and still be able to come out on top is nothing short of amazing in your eyes.
-
“Okay, I’ll quickly tell you the results.”
Biting your lip, you sway on your feet slightly. You’re positive you didn’t come last, but... you can’t help but wonder where you did fall.
“The total is simply the marks you got from each test,” Aizawa explains, “It’s a waste of time to explain verbally, so I’ll show you the results all at once.” Pressing a button on his tablet, a screen appears before your eyes, your own instantly scanning for your name.
You elect to ignore the fact that your last name is on display for everyone to see, positive everyone will be more focused on their own score, and let out a slight breath of relief when you realized you’d came about in the middle. Ten isn’t bad you think. It’s not overly high that all the attention will be on you, but, it’s not horrible that there isn’t room for improvement.
It’s one of the best scores you’ve ever seen.
Moving your attention to the top three, you’re not surprised to see Shoto up there, nor the name Momo. From your brief introduction of her, that high of a score, being first nonetheless, makes perfect sense to you. However, you are surprised to see the name Bakugo so high up.
You’d noticed that he’d done well in most, if not all of the tests, but you guessed you just hadn’t paid that much attention. At least, until now.
Your eyes flicker to your left, blinking at the sight of him right beside you. Lips parting, you blink, only then realizing he’s turned his attention back on you at the feeling of someone staring at him. You move to smile, but his eyes narrow and a nasty growl leaves his lips as he scoffs at you, turning his attention back ahead.
Okay, then, rude.
Turning your attention back to the scores, you remember Aizawa’s threat, and look to see who came last.
21. Izuku Midoriya
Instantly, you frown, turning to the boy, lips parting to say something, wanting to, but not knowing what.
“By the way, I was lying about the expulsion.”
What?
A creepy smile curls onto Aizawa’s face. “It was a rational deception to draw out the upper limits of your quirks.”
An eruption of “what?!” echoes, and Momo merely frowns; “of course that was a lie. It should’ve been obvious if you just thought it through.”
See? Number one makes sense.
“That was a little bit scary, huh?” The electricity boy, Denki, calls, letting out a small laugh.
Kirishima instantly flexes his arm, shaking his head; “I’ll take on the challenge any time.”
If you remembered correctly, he came in eighth.
“Nice job, Kirishima,” you call, moving to stand beside him with a small smile. “Eighth is amazing.”
He flushes; “thanks.”
“With that,” Aizawa calls, putting the attention back on him, “we’re done here. There are handouts with the curriculum and such in the classroom so when you get back, look over them.”
-
“Oi, Y/N!!”
Blinking at the familiar voice, a smile curls onto your lips at the sight of Kirishima, followed by Denki -- who you haven’t gotten much of chance to speak to. Of course, it was only the first day.
“Hello Kirishima,” you bow at him, coming to a step, before turning to Denki, “Kaminari.”
They wave off your pleasantries, and fall in step with you. “We’d thought we’d walk you home,” Kirishima grins.
“Consider it our first date,” Denki winks at you, smirking proudly.
You laugh, “with Kirishima?”
He flushes, and both you and Kirishima let out a laugh.
“You guys don’t have to, though,” you call after the laughter fades, “seriously. We just met, and I usually walk home alone--”
“Todoroki-san doesn’t walk with you?”
You blink at the red-head, shoulders slumping. “You noticed then?”
“You introduced yourself with just your name,” he shrugs, “so when I saw it there I couldn’t help it.”
“He’s my twin,” you explain, biting your lip.
Kirishima blinks at you, owl-eyed.
“Oi, oi,” Denki calls, bright eyed and blissfully unaware; “doesn’t that mean your Endeavor’s daughter?”
Trying to hide the feeling that runs through you, but unable to stop the frown that mares your lips, you glance down at your feet. “I just don’t really like to mention it, is all. It’s not really a secret, truly,” you turn to Kirishima, already knowing what he was going to ask. And then turning to Kaminari, you smile gently; “and yes, Endeavor is my father but I’m not really close to him. Him or Shoto, honestly.”
“Why?” Denki asks bluntly.
Thumping him on the back of the head, Kirishima frowns; “dumbass, don’t just dig into her personal life like that.”
Letting out a small laugh at their antics, despite only knowing each other for a day, you wonder how you got yourself wrapped up in both boys’ attention so easily. With a shake of your head, you set your hand on Kirishima’s shoulder, smiling; “it’s all right, Kirishima.” Then, turning to Denki, you shrug; “it’s always been like that. It’s really not that big of a deal.”
There’s a pause, and you grin, holding up your pointer finger; “besides, before he went off to college, my brother Natsu-nii used to always walk me to and from school.”
Both boys ease slightly at the warm smile that curls onto your lips.
“Well,” Kirishima calls out, wrapping an arm around your shoulder, “it’s bound to be an interesting year nonetheless. There’s a lot of interesting quirks in our class.”
“Oh!” You grin, “which reminds me, Kaminari!” He blinks at you in surprise at your bright eyes on his own. “Your electricity is so cool! And, Kirishima! Your hardening quirk was just as amazing as I remember it being from the exam.”
Both boys flush, as your blissfully unaware, smiling all the same.
“Your water quirk is pretty cool too, Y/N.” Denki mumbles, slightly embarrassed.
Hardly anyone compliments his quirk, especially because of the limit it has. It felt nice to be praised, especially by such a pretty girl like you nonetheless.
Holding your hand before yourself, you create a small burst of water in your hand, frowning. “It’s just water,” you shrug, “not that special.”
You hardly think they’d find your quirk so wonderful if they knew it’s defect.
“Hey,” Kirishima argues, grinning at you; “that water saved my life in the exam!”
“I-I told you,” you shake your head adamantly, “I didn’t save your life.”
Kirishima just crosses his arms over his chest; “you definitely did.” And his voice is so sure, you find it hard to argue against.
“W-Well, what about Bakugo’s,” you hastily change the subject. The first name coming to mind being his, as you remember his explosions. “His quirk was pretty cool, I think. Unique too.”
Both of them shrug; “he’s a little... stingy, isn’t he though?”
“Says electricity-boy,” you snort. Though, you don’t necessarily disagree.
“Hey!” Denki calls out, flustered. “Don’t call me that. Call me... call me, Kaminari-kun.” He pauses, clearly proud of himself. “Yeah, Kaminari-kun, okay?” And his eyes practically implore you.
“Dude!” Kirishima huffs, “stop flirting with her!”
“What!”
“You know what!”
Letting out a laugh, you shake your head.
Yeah, it was bound to be an interesting year like Kirishima said. But you were already looking forward to it.

Everything I Wanted 2/2 (F!Reader x Todoroki)
Tumblr media
soulmate Au! Where your soulmate tattoo appears on your wrist after you touch your soulmate for the first time.
F!reader x Todoroki
F!Reader x Bakugou (brotp)
Plot: the reader is Todoroki’s soulmate. Todoroki rejected reader because he thought he was in love with Momo and didn’t want to let fate dictate his life. Now the two of them have a conversation that was long over due.
Part one
Before getting on with the story I want to give a huge thanks to everyone who reblogged and liked part one, it means the world to me that there is people out there who enjoyed my writing, and a big thank you to @dillybuggg and to @power-house-fan12 for encouraging me to write another part sending so much love to you guys!!! 💗💗💗
“Someday?”
“Someday.”
"Todoroki-san, I met my soulmate."
"oh."
" I think we should come clean to our classmates, i really want to see where this goes"
Todoroki couldn’t blame her. They were foolish to think their puppy love could stand strong against fate.
Todoroki and Momo had been walking on eggshells around each other during their first year at UA. They were attracted to each other even though they weren’t each other’s destined partner. Trust them they checked, they had been so hopeful only for it to crumble when their left wrists were still void of black Ink even after they had their first kiss.
They had been laying low with their blossoming relationship until the fateful day Shoto and (y/n) first touched.
Shoto didn’t know what to think of (l/n). She didn’t stand out as a person or a hero in training, so when they were paired up on a project there seemed to be a never ending silence between them, with his lack of social skills and her lack of- well everything they didn’t even know where to begin. After a couple of awkward questions about what they wanted to do, they were able to get started, and he thought then that (l/n) wasn’t so bad, but when he dropped his pencil and they both reached for it, that’s when it all went south. He remembers the stinging feeling he felt on his wrist and couldn’t help flinching at the uncomfortable sensation.
He didn’t need to look at his wrists to know what had happened and he didn’t need to think twice before grabbing his things and giving a quiet excuse for his sudden need to be very far away from (l/n).
It wasn’t until he was locked away safely in his room that he dared look at his wrist, and there it was in bold black ink, in a surprisingly illegible yet legible font, how does someone achieve that? ‘(Y/n) (l/n)’.
He’s not quite sure how long he stared at it, but he knows that by the time he was able to organize his thoughts there were birds chirping out side welcoming the new day.
He had rejected her.
She had been okay with it.
He didn’t tell Momo who his soulmate was, but he did tell her that he didn’t want to continue hiding their relationship. What was stopping them from sharing their happiness with the rest of the class? Momo believed they would be looked down on for not waiting on their soulmates. It wasn’t common for people to date anyone who wasn’t their soulmate, it was even more uncommon to reject a soulmate, but look at him, he did it and he was perfectly fine- they were perfectly fine.
Momo was the one who came up with the idea to draw on their soulmate tattoos, unaware of the fact that there already was a name on Todoroki’s wrist, unaware of the pain she was causing to that other half.
Tumblr media
Coming clean to their classmates had gone surprisingly well, and Todoroki wasn’t sure how he felt about that, about that fact that (y/n) didn’t yell or question him on the why.
Why had he lied?
Why had he covered her up like she was something not worth looking at?
Why did he rub his relationship in her face?
Why not give them a chance if he was gonna chase something temporary?
Instead she had looked him in the eyes and gifted him a soft smile.
After everyone had scattered around the common area after their announcement, Todoroki decided to sit outside and take a breather.
He couldn’t help but sigh.
Thinking back to the day he and (y/n) first touched, he wished he hadn’t been such a coward.
He wished he had given her a chance to speak, because looking back now he realized that he did all the talking, he called all the shots not giving her a say in the matter.
She followed his wishes and yet he can’t help but want to be selfish and take it all back.
He had been wrong to think she had been lacking anything because she was everything. She was perfect to him, for him.
He couldn’t help the chuckle that escaped him.
Fate had told him she was his, a gift from the universe to cherish and like a spoiled brat he threw it away, ruined it. ‘Seems to run in the family’, he thought bitterly.
(Y/n) (L/n) was everything he wanted and he didn’t deserve her.
The worst part was that the person who helped him realize that was the hotheaded blonde of 1-A (now 2-A).
He was the one who brought out the best in (y/n) or maybe the only one who had bothered to listen, who had bothered to truly see her.
Todoroki couldn’t help but resent him for it yet he was grateful, because without Bakugou pushing her to open up, he would have never realized that he had shut the door on something beautiful without opening it.
“Why are you out here? Curfew is in 20 minutes” he heard her soft voice.
He didn’t reply and he felt her sit beside him on the stairs.
And there was silence.
What could he possibly say now?
Im sorry? That seemed too shallow
“It’s okay you know?” She began.
He finally listened.
“I’ll be honest, it had hurt- you had hurt me when you shut me out without giving me a chance to prove myself worthy of being on your wrist. I questioned if it had been something I did, something I didn’t do, or if it had been my appearance that had caused you to utter those words. Bakugou told me that it shouldn’t be something I beat myself over, that if it had been me that you would have told me, but you didn’t. You just told me that your heart belonged to another”
She stopped and finally looked at him, and he at her.
“ Im sorry things between you two didn’t work out how you wanted them to-” she had began, but he didn’t let her finish.
“Don’t. It’s not your fault, it’s mine. I thought I knew what I wanted and if I’m being honest I think I just wanted to be able to choose at least one thing for myself.” He said without thinking, it was time he stopped hiding from the truth, the selfish truth he hid under his not so pure love for Momo.
“Ever since I was born I have been nothing but a tool for my father. The just right child with the just right quirk. I wasn’t allowed to spend time with my siblings, I wasn’t allowed to play, I wasn’t allowed to make my own decision. It was always my father, and then I found out I wasn’t able to choose who I wanted to be with because apparently fate did that, so I would question what it is that I got to decide for myself
because if fate and my father made the decisions then what was I left with? What part of my life was actually mines for the taking?” He looked at the ground unable to continue meeting her eyes.
“So even if it’s not enough I do apologize, (y/n), for thinking so selfishly that I didn’t take into consideration the fact that you didn’t choose me either and that I didn’t try to make it easier for the both of us” he said clenching his fist to keep some sort of anchor on his mess of emotions.
Todoroki felt a small hand (or at least smaller that his own) lay on top of his own.
“Maybe we’ve both been going about this the wrong way? So what if we have each other’s name on our wrist? that doesn’t mean we should get married next week” (y/n) said in an attempt to lighten his load, to let him know that he didn’t need to beat himself over it just like she didn’t need to.
“ let’s just start as friends and see how things go and then maybe someday who knows” she shrugged her shoulders casually and flashed him a smile.
Todoroki looked at her and she at him.
He relaxed his hand that was underneath her and let himself hold her hand.
“Someday?” He asked
“Someday” she grinned.
(Y/n) cleared her throat and held her hand out for a handshake making him raise an eyebrow
“Hi my name is (y/n) (l/n) let’s be friends”
“I’m Shoto Todoroki, and I would like that very much”
“ I’m Aizawa, the teacher and you two need to get to bed”
“Yes sir!”

Something Immortal
word count - 3k
warnings: suicide attempt, drug use, addiction, cursing, teenagers being gross
pairing: model!Todoroki x canon!Bakugo
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Holy shit guys he posted!!" Mina squeals, vaulting herself over the couch to reach the rest of the Bakusquad sitting on the common room carpet. An old original copy of Monopoly splayed out in the center of their group.
"Ooh, show us! Show us!" Kaminari leans forward, swiping half of the properties off the board in the process.
Sero groans, "Dude you do this every time!!"
The blond pouts, "Hey it's your fault I was losing."
Kirishima just chuckles, picking up his dog piece from jail and throwing it into the box.
"Your smart people game can wait," Mina tugs on Sero's ponytail, "He hasn't posted in weeks."
"Oh my god he's so fucking hot," Kaminari's knee-jerk reaction is whispered as soon as he sees the post.
Todoroki Shouto, one of Japan- and America's- most well-known models. The teenager, who happens to be their age, regularly models for magazines like Vogue, Joker, and Elle. The teenager who has starred in countless American and Japanese short and independent films. The teenager who just so happens to be the son of the number one hero, Endeavor.
No one knows his quirk, but it just adds to the mystery. Some people theorize he's quirkless, but others think he's got a crazy dangerous quirk, which is why he's a model instead of an aspiring hero. Not like he's not perfect for the job, with his gorgeous bi-colored hair and heterochromatic eyes. The scar on his left side somehow only adds to his beauty. It doesn't matter what your sexuality is, you simp for Todoroki Shouto.
But that's the obvious, now this photo- this photo.
"It's ethereal, I've never seen him look so serene before."
"He's an actual angel."
"How is he only eighteen?!"
Mina nods as Sero, Kaminari, and Kirishima go through the seven stages of grief just looking at the photo.
Kirishima's eyes dart to Todoroki's username... which is just Shouto. In fact, the Todoroki name isn't mentioned once on his account, a fact that has hundreds of conspiracy theories on its own.
"Hey Meens, can we stalk him real quick? I wanna see who he's following."
She grins, "Well anything for you, munchkin."
Sero snorts. Their couple nicknames never fail to amuse anyone within hearing range.
"Ugh gross," Kaminari gags as Mina giggles, swiping off of the picture (which already has over 600,000) and onto his main page.
It's simple, plain yet elegant in the way only a PR manager could manage.
The bio is a link to his most recent shoot with some magazine that Kirishima doesn't recognize, the profile picture is a rare shot of him smiling, a blue checkmark, and a follower count of over four million.
His following count, however, is the shocker.
"He only follows fourteen people?" Sero whispers, clicking on the number.
"Huh," Mina turns the phone slightly so she can see, "Who is he following?"
"Let's see," Sero squints, eyes scrolling down the list, "Hawks... his siblings... Mirko... some American models... his agency's profile... and- wait, isn't that Bakugo?"
"HAH?" Mina yells, whipping the phone around and clicking on the profile.
Sure enough, a slew of photos shows up on her screen, all of their resident blond pomeranian glaring at the camera in various locations.
"He- WHAT?? It must be a glitch!" Mina scrambles frantically, eyes darting across the screen.
"Uh, yeah," Kirishima chuckles, "a glitch."
Mina scrolls up numerous times as if refreshing the page will help.
"I mean what other explanation can you think of?! It's not like Thee Todoroki Shouto would know our Bakugou, they're totally in different leagues." Mina sounds absolutely scandalized, causing Sero to laugh.
"I don't know, Meens, the proof is right there. We should ask him about it!"
"And what- DIE?" Kaminari reasons.
Sero nods, "Fair point."
"Pussies." Mina stands, planting her manicured hands on the edge of the couch, "I'll ask him myself."
-
"I REFUSE." A fourteen-year-old Shouto screams at his father.
"what do you mean you refuse? Shouto she's a lovely girl, and you need to procreate while you're still young if you're not going to become a hero like I want. You get one or the other." Todoroki Enji grabs his youngest child by the arm to lead him out of the kitchen, but Shouto jerks out of his grip. "Wh- SHOUTO."
"I'm going to live with Fuyumi. She'll take care of me." He holds his ground, shaking his father off when he tries once again to physically lead him out of the room.
"OH?" Enji bellows a laugh, "And how do you expect she'll find the money to take you in? Raising a teenager is expensive, you know, and she's only a simple school teacher."
"She's not a simple anything. And I- I'll find a way. We'll be fine. I already talked to several agencies."
"...agencies?"
-
"Wait, Mina!!" Kaminari calls after the girl, but she's a woman on a mission and there's no stopping her.
They arrive at Bakugo's door in a heap, Kaminari clawing at Mina while she knocks calmly. Kirishima and Sero stand to watch because they have no idea what else to do. (They're just as nervous as Kaminari but they're more afraid of Mina if they're being honest.)
A crash comes from inside the room, but soon their resident angry boy is slamming open his door and glaring at them. The normalcy is comforting.
"Do you fuckers realize what fucking time it is?"
"Yes~" Mina coos sweetly, "I know old men need their sleep but it's only 8:30 and we have a question."
He sighs aggressively and stretches his arms behind his back, cracking his shoulders and then his neck, Kaminari whimpers in fear.
"Alright, what do you want pinky?"
She's practically vibrating with excitement at this point.
"Why is Todoroki Shouto following you on Instagram?"
Bakugo seems to mull over this for a moment, and then he just shrugs.
Mina nods like this answers any part of her question, "That's what I thought, funny glitch. He's pretty hot though, right?"
The rest of the group nods emphatically.
Bakugo scratches his leg with his other heel, "He's not ugly, I guess."
Mina waves her arms around in Bakugo's general direction, "See!!? Even the straight guy agrees!!"
"No one was disagreeing with you, Mina." Sero snickers.
Bakugo grunts, then promptly slams the door in their faces.
"Well I guess that was more than he'd usually do at this time, we're lucky we didn't get exploded." Kirishima muses.
Kaminari nods, shuddering at the thought.
"Welp! That answers our question!" Although it really didn't, no one was about to argue with Mina, "Anyway I'm going to bed."
"Say hi to your vibe for me!" Sero whispers after her.
She waves as she marches away, humming to herself.
-
Shouto stares at the street below.
He wonders if he'd die falling from a height like this. He hopes he doesn't hit anyone.
Slowly, he removes his expensive sneakers, dropping them on the modelling agency's roof beside him. It's breezy tonight, and Shouto, freshly sixteen, has nothing to live for anymore. So he won't.
Stepping carefully over the guardrail, not sure why since he's about to jump. Maybe part of him is still afraid.
Whatever he can get over it.
His thin frame wobbles in the wind, and he breathes deeply, too focused on relaxing to notice the roof door opening, and hurried steps coming up behind him.
A warm hand grabs him, almost startling him off the side of the building.
The interruption heaves heavy breaths in his ear as they both topple down onto the concrete floor.
"What the fuck were you thinking?!" Oh, it's Bakugo.
The only child of his manager, Mitsuki Bakugo, who happens to be a nosy little shit who can't stay out of other people's business.
"Get OFF" Shouto shoves him, frantically scrambling toward the railing again. He needs this.
"NO! Todoroki get the fuck back-"
"It's SHOUTO." blood spurts onto his gray sweater and he realizes with muted horror that he just elbowed his employer's son in the nose.
"Fuck I'm so sorry, are you okay?" He bends down, removing his trashed pullover, and holds it to his friend's nose.
Bakugo snorts, "Sorry- Shouto I mean." He winces when Shouto presses harder into his face, "I'll forgive you if you don't jump."
Shouto sighs, "You know why I was going to."
Bakugo visibly calms at the use of past tense, the outburst must have snapped him out of it.
"Your mom, right?" Shouto tenses.
"Yeah I- he barred me from ever seeing her again and I- I don't know what to do." He shudders and pulls his pills from his pants pocket.
He wonders what his mom would say if she found out her baby was addicted to drugs.
Bakugou frowns but lets his friend take the pill, not sure what to say.
"Fucking piece of shit. Is that even legal?"
"Legally the number two hero can do whatever the fuck he wants. We live in a flawed world, Bakugo.
"I- Shouto."
"Hmm?" Shouto collapses onto the ground, crunching the pill and sighing as he feels the effects start to take almost immediately.
"I care- I care about you, okay? So please let me help you. Let me get you help."
A tear slips down to Shouto's ear without his permission, he wipes it away as quickly as it came.
"I don't know, Bakugo. You haven't exactly seemed to like me in the past. Even though I like to think we're friends I know you don't feel the same." He frowns, admiring the shine of wetness on his palm in the moonlight.
Bakugo grumbles, "Don't fuckin' tell me what I do and don't feel. I really fuckin' care about you even though I'm an ass about it, okay? I'm not good with emotions so don't expect much from me. But I do want you to be happy and I don't think the uh- the pills are helping."
The blond holds out a hand and reluctantly Shouto slaps the container into it.
"Fine," he mumbles, "you're uh- not as bad as I thought."
Bakugo snorts, "You're just as bad as I thought, but I like you anyway."
Against his will, Shouto finds himself blushing, thankful that it's mostly hidden in the dark.
"C'mon," Bakugo gestures to his own chest, "I know you could use one."
Shouto whimpers as he curls himself into the blond's strong frame. He's built a lot of muscle since starting at UA this year.
A strong hand rubs along his back and Shouto finds he can't hold back his tears any longer as the shock starts to set in.
Fuck he almost just killed himself.
"Thanks, Bakugo."
"I almost just watched you die, you can call me Katsuki."
"Thanks, Katsuki."
"No problem, Shouto."
-
The Bakusquad once again finds themselves playing a game on the common room floor, this time Sorry, much to Sero's chagrin.
"Sorry!" Kirishima grins cheekily as he kicks Sero's piece back to his home base.
"Fuuuuuuuuuuck you guys-" He groans, flopping back onto the loveseat behind him, only to get an eyeful of Bakugo Katsuki's ass, "Oh hey Bakugou!"
"Wh- OI TAPE FACE WATCH WHERE THE HELL YOU'RE LOOKING-"
Sero snickers, patting Bakugou on the hip, "Sorry dude, it was literally right there."
Small explosions popped from Bakugo's hands as he growled down at Sero.
"Aw come on blasty he's just playing and WHERE are you going dressed like that???!!!"
Bakugo blushes and tugs his light blue blazer down farther.
"I have a date." He mutters, tugging his sleeves.
“Sorry,” Kaminari laughs, “I think I misheard you. Sounded like you said ‘I have a date.’”
Bakugo rolls his eyes, “Because I do, dipshit.” He sighs, checking his -expensive-looking- watch, “Just watch the independent film awards when they’re on. I think it’s like four hours from now that it starts.”
“Whyyyy would you have anything to do with that?” Kirishima groans, very lost.
“Shut the fuck up.” Bakugo grunts, digging his phone out of his pocket when it vibrates and checking something before humming and striding towards the front door.
He looks unusually elegant, hair slicked back probably as well as Bakugo’s hair can be, shirt tucked in, a few rings on his fingers, barely visible and yet beautifully drawn eyeliner. He’s… pretty.
The three remaining members of the Bakusquad, as well as the rest of the common room, sit there in awe as he shoves a permission slip in Iida’s blubbering face.
“I- Wh- Bakugo is this from Aizawa? You cannot just leave!!”
“Fuck off glasses, I have his fuckin’ blessing or whatever.”
“Bakugo!”
The blond shoots a middle finger off behind him and slams the door shut, leaving a stunned common room in his wake.
“Uh, well, that happened.” Jirou drones blandly from her place on the couch with Momo.
“Awards show watch party, anyone?!” Uraraka grins, standing, “I’ll get the mochi!!”
“I’ll make tea,” Momo stands as well, dusting off her perfectly clean jeans. Jirou groans at the loss of her girlfriend’s warmth and flops over on the couch.
“This is stupid, he probably got invited by some pro hero and he’s just going to yell at the paparazzi if he’s even gonna be there.” She pouts.
“Well,” Sero grins, “anyone wanna play Monopoly while we wait?”
Kaminari throws the Sorry board at his head.
“Alright, is everyone ready!!? The red carpet is about to start!!” Hagakure squeals, even though the entirety of class 3-A (minus Bakugo) is there.
“So… what exactly are we watching this for?” Shinsou scratches the back of his neck.
“Bakugo’s going to be in it apparently, the study group earlier saw him in the common room wearing a suit.” Ojiro answers.
“Not just a suit!!” Mina holds her hands out as if to deliver groundbreaking news, “A fancy suit.”
“Aren’t all suits fancy?”
“Shut up.”
“OOH LOOK there’s Arai Itō and Chiba Yoshida!! Aww, they’re so cute!” Uraraka swoons, clasping her hands together.
“I wonder when Kacchan is gonna come out, these things can take a while.”
“I honestly don’t even care, I heard Todoroki Shouto is nominated for an award this year!! Do you remember that really sad short film he was in about having an overdose? Gosh, I hope he wins.” Hagakure’s hair bow vibrates excitedly.
“THERE HE IS THERE HE IS!!!!!” She points at the bottom of the screen where a man in a pale blue dress has stepped out of a limo and onto the carpet, a heeled foot gracefully raising him to his full 6’2”.
“Holy shit he’s gorgeous.” Sero breathes, the reporters on screen basically saying the same thing.
Shouto reaches behind him and holds out a hand for the second person stepping out of the limo, broad shoulders, a shorter stature than Shouto especially with the heels, spiky blond hair, piercing red eyes-
“HOLY SHIT IS THAT BAKUGOU??”
The aerial camera pans down toward the blond, showing off his suit- which matches Shouto’s dress perfectly- and his, what appears to be professionally done hair.
“Holy shit does he have an undercut now!!?? We just saw him a few hours ago!” Mina screeches.
Momo shrugs, “They do that sort of thing for celebrities.” She sips her tea, unphased.
“Okay okay, we’re all ignoring the most important part. Kacchan is Todoroki’s date.” Izuku frantically waves his arms around.
“I didn’t know they knew each other,” Tokoyami muses.
“What the fuck is happening?” Sero asks no one in particular.
“Wait everyone SHUT UP they’re announcing awards!!!! Todoroki might win one! We can ask Bakugo about this when he gets back. Surely there’s an interesting story.” Uraraka chimes in, handing out mochi and popcorn.
The tv’s voice is muffled under the muttering of several class 3-A members, but Mina turns it up as the male announcer reads the winners of the award Todoroki is nominated for.
“AAAAAAAAND THE WINNER FOR BEST ACTOR IN A DRAMA SHORT ISSSSSSSSS…
TODOROKI SHOUTO!!! For his work in The End of Me and the incredible performance that shocked-”
Cheers ring through the dorms, popcorn goes flying, and Mina frantically shushes everyone as Shouto makes his way gracefully onto the stage. He accepts the award from the previous winner, bowing elegantly and stepping up to the mic.
“Hello everyone,” He begins, shooting a shy smile directly into the camera. It has always perplexed his fans how nervous he can be in real life compared to in his photoshoots. “This is a really important award to me, not only am I incredibly grateful to the panel for gracing this title upon me, but as of yesterday,” He smiles at the ground, taking a deep breath, “I’m two years clean.”
Shocked gasps ricochet through the award hall as well as through the crowd gathered around the tv.
“He did drugs, kero?” Tsu whispers.
“Mon dieux,” Aoyama shakes his head, pressing a hand to his chest, “how brave.”
Shouto clears his breath and continues, “In fact, that wasn’t the worst of it at the time, and I’m incredibly grateful to all who have supported me through my career. You keep me sane, and you keep me going. But especially, I’d like to thank my sister, brother, and my wonderful boyfriend-”
He holds an arm out to someone in the audience, and the camera pans to none other than Bakugou Katsuki, “who quite literally saved my life, and helped me drive myself back on track. I love you Katsuki, and you continue to improve my life every second that you’re in it.”
Most of 3-A are in tears at this point, and as Bakugo half-heartedly scowls into the camera, they can tell his eyes are shining too.
Shouto glances back at the camera as if directing his words to someone in particular.
“Thank you.”
And then he’s walking back down to his seat as the audience provides him with a standing ovation.
“THEY’RE DATING,” Mina sobs, shaking Kirishima’s shoulders as he sits, staring slack-jawed at the television.
“Yeah, yeah they are.”
-
Katsuki does NOT wipe tears from his eyes as he helps Shouto sit back down in his seat, but his boyfriend definitely does. His mascara, thankfully waterproof, still holds strong.
Shouto shoots him a watery smile, rubbing his arm as he pulls the blond into a hug.
“Happy two years, Katsuki.”
Worship has always been a part of your daily routine. Each season you place the fruits of your labor at the altar. Every day you pray. It’s human nature, seeking answers from the Gods.
But you never expected one to answer…
The god your family prayed to was one that your father insisted was powerful. He was almighty, he was deadly for the enemies of his followers. You weren’t entirely sure if that was true. Your lives were… peaceful enough. Your crops were good. Your family was healthy. As a family you prayed together very consistently. However only your father made an offering every new moon, when the sun dominated the sky. He was the only one allowed in your family shrine when the offering was made so you never really know what it was, but you assumed that it was part of your crops. Outside of that you would quietly tag along, looking at the stone walls in boredom and waiting for your father’s droning prayers to cease.
Then the leader of the kingdom to the north declared war on your kingdom, and able bodied men were conscripted to the army. Your father had to go, but he made sure to tell you that as the eldest child of the family it fell on you to make the monthly sacrifice. You honestly weren’t sure if the god existed or not but you make sure to tell your father that you will do as he asks if he isn’t back in time.
The new moon rolls around before your father returns. You select some of your best crops – corn, potatoes, greens. A bit of everything you grow. You even throw in two loaves of fresh bread that you’d baked earlier that day. That had to be enough.
Your father had explained the reason why the sacrifice was made the day of the new moon. It was when the sun was at its most powerful, and your family’s patron god was a solar deity. Your father had waxed poetic about everything that this particular god did but you weren’t exactly listening. It was important to your father though, so you’d do what he asked. You enter the small, windowless building that your father built to the god. Despite the fact that there were no windows the roof was glass, with a circular hole in the center. Torches lined the walls, and you were surprised to see that they were burning. They had always been burning when you came in with your family but you assumed that your father lit them. You take the few steps to the flat, wide table that serves as the altar, taking a few moments to study it. The table was a large stone slab moreso than a table, really. A second large stone sat in the front, carved with what looks like fire, and a single word.
Endeavor.
You say it quietly to yourself, your voice echoing strangely in the small room. It gives you a strange feeling as if you’re being watched. You place the basket on the altar and dip your head respectfully before you head out, closing the door quietly behind you.
Your father doesn’t return before the next new moon. This means that you need to give the next offering. You pack up another basket of your best crops and bake some small cakes this time, bringing the offering out when the sun is highest in the sky. You let yourself into the room again and make your way to the altar. Before you can set your basket down, though, all the torches go out.
You turn and step down off the small dias that the table sits on, looking at them. You’re confused. You shut the door, there should be no air coming through here. And even if there was it hadn’t been that windy today. So what had made the torches go out…?
“Foolish mortal.” A booming voice echoes from behind you and you jump, whirling around. Standing before you is the largest man you’ve ever beheld. He has to be almost seven feet tall, shoulders almost as wide as the altar. Thick, strong arms crossed over a barrel chest. Legs roped with muscle. He’s wearing a deep red tunic that reminds you of fire. Or of blood. His eyes are the brightest blue you’ve ever seen, and his gaze makes you want to run for your life.
“Your sacrifice was paltry, laughable. Offensive. I do not take sacrifices in the form of plants and breads.” He spits the words as if you’d offered him manure instead of your best crops. “I require something with vitality. Blood. Meat.” The large god sneers down at you and you can’t help but recoil a little. That was what your father did every month? How had you not noticed him killing something to bring in here?
Then the god – Endeavor, if the word on the altar was correct – was walking toward you. He was even larger and more intimidating as he stared down at you with a scowl. His arms were now hanging at his sides, and you couldn’t help but notice that each of his hands could easily engulf your entire head. Your eyes are snapped back up to his face as he speaks again. “As I see that you’ve brought another unacceptable offering, I will provide you with two choices. Either you find me something better, or I’m removing my blessing from your family.”
Better. You curse inwardly and bite your lip. What could you offer a god?
“I’m waiting, mortal.” You look up at him while still biting your lip. “I’m… I’m not killing anything. I can’t. Is there something else you’ll accept?” Endeavor raises his brow and crosses his arms over his chest once more.
“I told you what my requirements are. Either give me what I desire or your blessings are revoked.” You go over in your head everything that your father claimed prayer to this god was responsible for. Your safety. Healthy livestock. Your family’s health. You think of your sibling, who hadn’t been feeling well recently. You think of your mother, and how weak she had been after your last sibling had been born. You think about the harsh winters that only a bountiful harvest that summer had enabled you to survive. You’re struck with a cold realization that your family could possibly perish without these boons. And it would be entirely your fault.
The words are out of your mouth without any further thought. “I wish to sacrifice myself.” You stand straighter, jaw clenched in determination and hands balled at your sides. He doesn’t respond right away, just appraises you quietly.
“Hm. It has been some time since a maiden has offered herself as the sacrifice. Very well. I accept.” With a speed you almost can’t follow he snatches your arm and drags you up to the altar. You’ve resigned yourself to this fate, sorrowful that you won’t be able to say goodbye to your family. But they’ll be safe, and that soothes the pain of the fact that a god is about to kill you. You’re all but flung over the altar, hips hitting the edge hard. You close your eyes and prepare for the crushing blow.
What you don’t expect are large hands smoothing over your side and your hips. Your heart pounds and your thoughts run wild as the soft caresses continue, unhurried and purposeful. What was he doing? Why didn’t he just get on with it and kill you? Was he trying to decide the best way to do it? Did he eat his sacrifices? A nervous laugh bubbles in your chest but doesn’t quite make it out as you think of your mother telling a much younger you to not play with your food.
The hands slide back up from your calves, over your hips, up your sides. You’re trembling, the anticipation to your own death is horrible. He gently gathers your hair to one side and grips at the back of your neck. Ah, so he would snap your neck. At least it would be over quickly. But he just squeezes and then drags his fingertips down your clothed spine. You’re a bundle of nerves and near tears, wishing he would just kill you and end this. Then the hands come to rest on your ass, heavy palms kneading the flesh, and he pushes his hips into you. Endeavor’s voice rings in your mind - it has been some time since a maiden has offered herself as the sacrifice – and you realize that he does not intend to kill you. Oh. Oh. He wants… This is much, much more preferable.
You’re no stranger to sex. You were of marrying age, and the boy that you had been interested in had talked you into lying with him before he ran off to wed the girl his parents had set up for him. You’d had no knowledge of their arrangement, and you were crushed. Luckily your parents were understanding of the fact that your heart had been shattered even if they weren’t aware of just how far things had gone with the boy. They didn’t press for you to find a husband. You were a help to your parents, they were not very keen on losing that. You had been with this boy a few times, enough times that you weren’t afraid as the god started to lift your dress.
Your experience was limited, so you almost jumped out of your skin when you felt a long stripe of a tongue licking up your slit. Your knees buckle. His tongue is so hot, and now that his hands are on your bare skin you’re acutely aware of just how much heat is radiating from him. You’ve never been in the presence of a god, let alone this close to one. Did they all feel like this? Or was it just this one in particular? This line of thought is interrupted as he licks another hard stripe up your sex, pulling a shaky moan from you. You’d never had a mouth there before. It was amazing how good it felt.
He didn’t speak as he lavished his tongue over your core. He only gives a rumbling noise of approval as your body responds to his attention and he laps up the slick he’s getting out of you. You’re confused about what is happening since the boy you’d been with previously had only kissed you, and thrust up between your legs a few times. But who are you to question a god? Especially one that is gripping your upper thigh this hard and whose tongue is starting to curl inside you like that.
Your legs are spreading wider to accommodate his bulk without really thinking about it, needing more of whatever he’s doing to you. Your eyes are fluttering closed, breath coming out in pants, risen up on the tips of your toes. You can’t believe how amazing it feels. But then thick fingers are sliding along your slit as well. One of them slips easily inside. You’re surprised at how one finger rivals the boy you’d been with, and how easily it slid in. How wet you were. Except Endeavor’s finger is crooking inside of you and hitting spots that you didn’t know existed. You gasp when he hits a certain spot, your legs shaking. He chuckles at your response and resumes running his tongue along the outside of your sex.
Neither of you speak as he works you over. The only sound in the small temple are the noises he’s drawing from you with his meticulous movements. You’re still pretty quiet, even as he’s making your eyes roll back in your head. You feel like you need to be. The temple is far enough from the house, but your siblings like to play in the field that cuts through between the temple and the house. You didn’t want them to come check on you and find you like this.
You can’t help the yelp when his finger slides out and two slide back in though. It doesn’t hurt, but you weren’t expecting it. You feel so full. It’s a new feeling, and it’s so perfect. His fingers alternate between curling up and pressing into the spot that makes you gasp and scissoring. Your hips are rocking back into his hand. Your own hands grasping at the edge of the altar. His fingers are working you expertly and his tongue is still dragging along your skin and dipping down to suck gently at your clit. It feels like there’s a wire in your belly and it’s being pulled tighter and tighter. It’s divine. You need more.
Just as you think this, he obliges. A third finger slips easily inside of you. This time when he presses up against that spot again you cry out, feeling something in you snap, and clench around the intrusion. He gently flexes his finger over the spot as you ride out whatever this was. You’d never had an orgasm before. Just as the heat in your belly starts to die down he easily slides in a fourth finger. He is not done with you yet. You can’t believe how far you’re stretched with no pain. But Endeavor is sliding out of you, making you whimper from the sudden emptiness. His large hands slide around to your front, one resting on your stomach and one sliding up to grasp your jaw. His hand is so big that some fingers are also pressing into your throat. You feel him lift you from the altar – from the floor entirely – and brings you to rest on him. Your back is pressed to his hard chest, and your slit is resting on his large shaft. Before you can feel any panic over how big he is everywhere, he tilts your head back and catches your lips with his own.
Your mind flatlines. You’re kissing a god. He has you fully off the floor, barely able to brush your toes if you point them. You can’t help the soft moan that is lost in his mouth. His hips start to move, rocking back and forth. Sliding along your slit, collecting your slick on his shaft. You’re starting to lose the need to stay quiet. The way he’s holding you up, the way his tongue tastes like you, it all feels so forbidden. It sends a spike of heat to your core. Before you even realize you’re doing it, your hips are rocking with his own. At least as well as they can when he has you pinned to his chest like this.
You’re losing yourself in his kiss. One of your arms comes up to cup the back of his neck, wanting to pull him closer. Needing more of this heat that he radiates. He growls as your hips slide over his length more desperately, finally tearing his mouth from yours and dropping you to bend you back over the altar. You hear the sound of him spitting on his own cock, then the press of his blunt head lining up with your entrance. He pushes in the first inch, puts his hands on your hips as an anchor, then rocks in and out a few times until he’s seated perfectly inside of you.
“E-Endeavor-” you gasp out once he fills you completely. You’ve never felt so full. He doesn’t move at first. There’s a fleeting thought about how considerate he is to allow you to adjust to his size, but your need for him to move makes you start to push your hips back into him. He lets out another growl and his grip on your hips gets harder. He drags out, then slams back in.
He starts to fuck you in earnest against the altar, and you’re once again scrambling to hold onto the edge. All thoughts of staying quiet are completely gone from your head. You’re moaning loudly with each thrust, especially as he starts grunting with the effort of fucking you senseless. It’s nice to know that you can affect a god like that. Endeavor curses and pulls you back flush against him before pinning you to his chest with one hand again. His free hand grips the back of your thigh and pulls your leg up. He lets go of your midsection and has your other thigh held up as well. Your back is pressed hard against his chest, legs splayed out. You’re not entirely sure how he pulls the move off, but he’s a god so you don’t question it. You can’t even if you want to because he’s drilling to you again in earnest.
You manage to get your hands around the back of Endeavor’s neck to keep yourself from bouncing on his cock too hard and enable you to press your hips back down against him. He turns to tuck his face into your neck, nipping at the skin there. You can feel that wire tightening in your belly again, but it’s all over when he mouths at your earlobe. “Cum again. Cum all over my cock,” he rumbles into your ear. The command sends you over the edge, and you’re clamping down on him hard. He growls as he slams into you once last time, leaving blooming bruises where his fingers dig into your thighs, as he fills you up.
He doesn’t pull out of you at first. He’s breathing hard, and you’re collapsed against his chest and breathing hard as well. After a few moments he carefully lifts you off of him and sits you on his altar before standing back. His tunic is covering him once more, and you’re struggling to focus on him. His sharp blue eyes are staring at you, mouth still turned into a frown. He looks so nonplussed, like he didn’t just fuck you stupid. He looks so mean.
“This sacrifice was acceptable. I expect the same at the next new moon.” Then he was gone.
You stay there for a few moments, unsure if your legs will support your weight. Finally you slide from the altar. There’s a stream behind the temple that you can clean up at. Then you can head back to the house. You’re already looking forward to the next new moon. The only thing you’re concerned about now is how to explain to your father that Endeavor no longer wants his sacrifices.
cold like ice, warm like fire. > inatodo
2,429 words
"Now as you know, you are here to get your provisional licenses, but we know you guys are just kids and you need a break every now and then. So we are allowing you to roam free at the location we're headed to." Gang Orca explained loudly as everyone loaded onto the bus.
Todoroki, as well as Bakugou,  climbed into the usual monotone bus, both curious to where they would be going today.
"Where do you think they are taking us, Fellas?" Camie, a student from Shiketsu High School, flung her arm the multi-colored haired male's right shoulder. Todoroki glanced at the girl, unfazed by her friendliness. They both had been taking these classes alongside each other and she was more than happy to make new friends. She also seemed to have some sort of crush on him as well. While she was a beautiful girl, he didn't have the same feelings. She was a good friend though. He did mention this to her after many attempts for his number, which she understood. "We can still be great friends!", she had grinned and said.
"I don't know. They always surprise us." Todoroki replied honestly.
"Hm, I hope it's a spa! But that's just wishful thinking, fam." The girl laughed before removing her arm as she moved a few seats over to sit beside her friend, Inasa Yoarashi, another student from Shiketsu. Todoroki wasn't sure how he felt about Inasa. He was definitely nice and friendly, much like Camie. He and Todoroki didn't get along at first, them both failing the Provisional License Exam because of it. But now that they had more time to talk and hang out, they seem to be good friends.
"Todoroki! Over here!" The taller male waved excitedly. Todoroki looked to Bakugou, who had his earphones in and was ignoring everyone. Bakugou seemed fine to be left on his own. He nodded and waited for the bus to stop momentarily before moving down about 5 seats.
"Hello."
"Good Morning! How'd you sleep?" Inasa asked immediately, like always. He always seemed concerned if Todoroki was sleeping and eating okay. Which confused him, but it wasn't doing him any harm to answer.
"I slept fine. Though Sero, a fellow classmate who dorms next to me, was playing music pretty late. He has an interesting music taste."
"Ah, yeah. I understand how that feels. My older brother likes to play loud music at night. I usually just wear earplugs. And if it's really loud, I'll just play my own music and wear headphones."
"Hm."
"So uh," Inasa cleared his throat, glancing to Camie who was typing on her phone, then back to Todoroki. "Well, I was thinking maybe we could hang out today at wherever they are taking us. Ya' know, we do the classes together and stuff but we've never really hung out, as uh friends."
Todoroki thought over his offer. He was right, they had never hung out outside of the classes. They did live a good distance away from each other. And only saw each other a few times a week. Camie had given his number to Inasa, which was interesting. Inasa could have just asked him. Camie claimed he was too afraid to ask. People did tend to be intimidated by him at first. So they did text from to time.
"Sure, why not." He replied, which made Inasa smile widely.
"Awesome! This is going to be so fun!" Todoroki looked to the hand that had been placed on his left shoulder, an eyebrow raised. It took a second for Inasa to realize. And as he did, he quickly removed his hand.
"I'm s-sorry! Please forgive me, I should have asked if that was okay!"
Todoroki furrowed his brows slightly, why was he so distraught? It was just his shoulder. It's not like Inasa held his hand or anything. Not that Todoroki had imagined that ever happening.
"It's fine. I just wasn't expecting it is all."
"Whew! Okay. I'll keep my hands to myself." Inasa even went as far as to clamp his hands together on his lap, like it was a struggle for him. Which confused Todoroki even more. That was a common emotion that he felt around Inasa. He wasn't sure if it was a good or bad thing.
"Alright. We've arrived. Be sure to be on your behavior. And maybe we'll consider doing this again. Walk off the bus in an orderly fashion." Gang Orca instructed. They did as instructed, walking off the bus slowly. Todoroki looked around the area once his feet hit the ground. He noticed a building in front of them, Masutafu Area Ice Rink. They took them to an ice skating rink.
"The fuck is this? Ice Skating?" Bakugou looked up to the building, clearly unsure of the whole situation. Todoroki wondered how Bakugou would be on the ice. Maybe he could take a picture to show Kirishima and the other students.
"It seems to be so." Was all he said before the Shiketsu students walked off the bus.
'Whoa! Ice Skating, cool!" Inasa gasped once he noticed the words on the building.
"Hm, I've never been. I've always wanted to go. This is lit." Camie started to walk towards the building, leading the way for the Shiketsu and U.A students.
Once inside, the teachers got everyone accounted for and told them to get their skates. Bakugou stalked behind him, Inasa and Camie. He seemed very wary of the rink beside them. Oh, this would be fun. Finally, something Bakugou wasn't great at.
"What size are you, Todoroki?"
Todoroki coughed, apparently choking on air. "Uh, size?"
"For the skates?" Inasa seemed confused. Oh right, the skates.
"Size 7." Todoroki watched as Inasa informed the person manning the skates. And he took the pair Inasa was handing to him with a quiet 'Thank you'. He walked over to the benches and sat to slip on the skates. What was up with him? He suddenly felt nervous to hang out with Inasa today. There was no way he could bail, and he didn't want too. He just felt, off suddenly. This feeling wasn't new though. It came randomly, like when Inasa came to close or said something questionable. He would be fine. Plus, he loved Ice Skating. He'd make makeshift ice rinks at his home on the small pond the owned. He skated with his siblings, and even his father recently.
"Are you ready? I'm super excited. I think I've been skating once, like when I was young. So this will be really fun! How about you, Todoroki?" Inasa walked up beside him, extra tall due to the skates.
"I skate at home, I use my quirk to make mini ice rinks from time to time. So I guess I would say I'm somewhat experienced." He explained while wobbling to his feet. He saw out of the corner of his eye that Inasa moved to help him, but drew his hands back with a pinched expression. It looked like he was silently scolding himself.
"Let's go." Todoroki nodded towards the half door that led to the ice. He could feel the ghost of a smile appear on his face, he wondered if Inasa noticed.
He stepped onto the ice, doing a little spin gracefully. Yeah, he definitely missed this. To his right was Bakugou, who looked like a baby deer learning to walk. He was gripping onto the wall like if he let go he would die. Camie was doing figure eights basically around the blond male. That angered him, but Camie just laughed and went to grab his arm. She seemed to be helping him. Todoroki placed his phone back into his pocket, he'd keep that picture for later. Possible blackmail. Who knows?
"Whoa! That's slippery! More than I thought." Inasa had one foot placed on the ice, left hand holding onto the wall, right hovering in the air in front of him. Todoroki watched as he slowly moved his other foot to the ice as well as his right hand to the wall. He seemed new to the ice, which was to be expected if he only skated once in his life.
"Do you need help?" He asked, skating over to him with ease. Inasa seemed amazed with how smoothly he was moving, which he said aloud.
"Ah, it's nothing. I've just been skating for years. But, I could teach you. If you like."
"Really? I'd love that! I want to skate as good as you! Teach me your ways!" Inasa grinned but it wavered when Todoroki grabbed his left hand. "W-wait? You're going to hold my hand?"
"I mean, I don't have too. But it could help you balance." Todoroki replied, unaware of the flustered mess beside him. Inasa looked at his hand, then the ice, then at him, then back at his hand. He seemed to be working something out in his head.
"Okay. That's fine." He said as he breathed out. Todoroki nodded and grabbed his hand.
"Alright, now. Just move like you are walking to start out. And when you feel comfortable you can start to slide your feet." He moved beside Inasa slowly, still pretty close to the wall. He didn't mind though. He let Inasa take his time. And soon enough, they started to move a little faster.
"See, you're getting it." Todoroki smiled. Inasa laughed as he moved across the ice with slight ease.
"You're a good teacher! This is so fun! Thank you, Shoto." Inasa halted his movements abruptly, causing himself to slip. And his grip on Todoroki's hand tightened, proceeding to take him down with him. Todoroki yelped as he landed onto the cold ice, his left hand landing on Inasa's chest. He felt his heart racing. Was he okay?
"Are you hurt?" Todoroki questioned, sitting up and rubbing his head.
"Oh god, this is a nightmare." He heard Inasa whisper. He just breathed a laugh.
"It's just a fall, Inasa. It happens all the time."
"No no, not just the fall. I called you...Shoto." Inasa had his arm thrown over his face, which unknown to Todoroki, was covering a blush.
Oh, he had done that. For some reason, it went right over his head at the time. But now he felt his face warm, a huge contrast to the freezing ground beneath him. Not many people called him by his first name. And he...didn't mind that Inasa addressed him like that.
So he just stood up and held out his hand, nudging the male slightly with his foot. "You know what, I prefer you call me Shoto from now own."
Inasa looked up to him, a now noticeable red hue danced on his cheeks. It suited him, he thought. Todoroki ignored the fuzzy feeling in his stomach as that thought came and passed. It didn't mean anything. Probably. Inasa took his hand gratefully and found his footing.
"Now I think your pick caught the ice, explaining the fall. Be careful not to move your foot down like that. You'll trip." He even moved his foot in the motion that showed Inasa how not to position his foot. He didn't want Inasa to hurt himself.
"Yeah, the pick! Okay! I won't do that again. Could you show me how to stop correctly?"
He obliged and showed him the right way to stop, and Inasa copied. He was a fast learner. And for the rest of the time they had left, they did laps around the rink. It even got to the point where Inasa didn't need help. But for some reason, his hand never left Todoroki's. And he didn't mind at all.
But their fun came to an end as Gang Orca called for them rather loudly. They all got off the ice, Bakugou even going as far as to flip off the ice. He didn't get it as quickly as Inasa did. Camie seemed to be a natural. She was doing many tricks that took some people months to learn.
Skates were returned and legs were starting to ache from the workout. They all fumbled onto the bus and laid out on the seats. This time Todoroki sat beside Inasa, who was chatting about some app on his phone.
"See here? You tap the bowls to feed the cats. And you collect them in a way. It's called 'Neko Atsume'. Since you said you liked cats, I found some cat-related games you might like." Inasa held his phone in between them. Todoroki reached out to tap the phone screen, 'feeding' the cats. He felt himself smile. He knew he would spend countless hours on this game.
"There you go! You're great at his game." Inasa grinned up at him. Todoroki returned it, Inasa was 100% right. He loved cats.
As they neared U.A, Inasa sat up a little straighter. "Uh! Shoto? Could we maybe do this again, outside of classes? Let's say this weekend?"
Todoroki eyed the boy. He was asking him to hang out this weekend. That same red hue was prominent on his cheeks. Todoroki was now more confident in his thoughts. He found Inasa's red cheeks adorable, almost as adorable as cats. He wasn't sure what that meant. But he was willing to find out.
"Sure. I'll text you later and we can figure out the details." He nodded, his bag now on his back and he was leaving the bus.
"Cool! Awesome! I'll see you this weekend!" He smiled widely.
"It's a date." Todoroki winked before exiting the bus. His heart raced as he watched the bus start to drive away. He could hear the shocked exclamations from Inasa to Camie from an open window.
"He said it was a date! Holy--!" Just a taste of what was to come for Camie. Camie squealed and congratulated him. That's how the rest of their week would go.
"You have a date? Since when did people find you attractive?" Bakugou snickered. Todoroki just rolled his eyes and shoved his shoulder.
"I would keep quiet if I were you. I have pictures of you from today." He grinned when he heard Bakugou start to sputter.
"You wouldn't dare Half and Half!" He called after Todoroki as he walked into the dorm building. Little did Bakugou know that Todoroki 'accidentally' sent the picture to the class group chat.
As he drifted to sleep that night, his mind lingered on Inasa. He fell asleep, heart warm. He had a date. A date with Inasa of all people. But he couldn't be happier.
Yknow what I've been thinking about the past few days ever since seeing the loads of tumbler posts about the recent chapter 301 of BNHA?
It's that while, everything everyone says about how the Todoroki's couldve been better parents and found a righter way to raise Touya is very valid... but...
People need to remember that they were also first time parents.
I'm in no way excusing their actions and words, and I'm not defending them from the critique, but I'm also not actively against them either for how Touya turned out.
First time parents aren't perfect. They have no way to tell if their actions/words will have a positive or negative effect on their child and interfere with the way they grow up. That's why parents with more than one kid, tend to get the idea and learn from their mistakes after dealing with the first one.
And we don't even know that much about the Himura's or Todoroki's families, so Enji and Rei could have very well been raised in a single child homes. They wouldn't have known the effects of having and raising their own child from simply their own single experiences, and most new parents don't tend to ask other people or their families about tips or help on children unless they're genuinely stumped or in a desperate situation. And families with single children tend to spoil them, since they essentially don't have to share anything and can keep their entire focus on that one child.
They didn't have any experience with children when they raised Touya. And really, they were doing an ok job at it, just up until Enji encouraged Touya's obsession of being a hero, essentially spoiling him with words and praises, and the way he had forcefully stopped the training that Touya had wanted and genuinely enjoyed without much explanation on why.
Rei's idealogy of wanting siblings to support each other isn't a bad thing either, and they did manage to raise Fuyumi and Natsuo just fine and Touya got along well with them, but obviously letting the eldest know that they were looking to replace or get a better child over them wouldn't lead to great things and can cause serious problems mentally and emotionally in a child as small and vulnerable as Touya.
When Shoto was born, that wouldve been the breaking point for Touya, but because Rei and Enji were still so new to parenting and Touya being the eldest, they didn't expect their relationship to be any different than what the oldest three have together.
They had spoiled Touya in his quest to become a hero and inherit his father's legacy, and then had roughly pulled that dream from out under his feet, giving all that attention to another instead of him.
Parents aren't perfect, especially first time parents. So when Rei and Enji realized their mistake when Touya went to attack Shoto, they did something about it in the way they raised their next child to prevent anything like that from happening again, hence Rei showing Shoto videos of All Might and teaching him the proper lessons on being kind.
The were first time parents who spoiled their only child, they wouldn't have known that somewhere down the line that same child that they loved would commit an action that they never taught. They wouldn't have known what specific life lessons they were supposed to teach, in order to make sure their child grew up with the right mindset. They simply did their best to raise him with love and affection, but even the most innocent and benevolent of actions can have dire consequences if not done correctly.
Children are very fickle and dangerous things. You have to be aware of every little thing you do in order to make sure that they grow up ok and prevent any future damage to their psyche and those around them.
They did their best with their circumstances and lack of information on how to raise a first time child.
So those of you who say that with how Shoto grew up perfectly fine despite everything that happened to him and should have applied those actions to Touya, then you either haven't been around children for long, or you have never raised one. Cause you literally never know what might happen when raising a child, especially your very first one.
Who's to say that if they did raise Touya with lessons of kindness, that he'll even come out of it with compassion just like Shoto? That's the thing- you never know. Every child is different, and even if they show no outward signs that they're suffering, that doesn't mean that they won't have their breaking point. Touya simply had his breaking point after everything his psyche had gone through, and his parents simply didn't predict it with their lack of experience.
And as a middle child who studied psychology myself, coming from a very large and dysfunctional family mostly comprised of children smaller than 10 years old, I know just how well and bad certain actions can be for a child's psyche, no matter how small or big, insignificant or significant, lovingly or unloving.
But yea... that's about it for my rant. Just wanted to get thru to ppl that parents arent perfect, uncles, aunts, cousins, and siblings arent perfect, no matter the intentions meant by everyone involved.
When you woke up the next morning you felt a discomfort between your legs. Your core hurt, but it was nothing compared to when Kai had his way with you. kai roughly took you. He didn't take the time to let you get aroused, he just dove right in and got himself off without care about whether you were enjoying it or not. He didn't listen when you said no, instead, he forced you to give in. He forced himself on you and coerced you, then he left you to clean up the mess.
Dabi gently took you. He took his time and paid attention. He asked you if he was hurting you, he asked you if what he was doing was okay. He made sure you were aroused when he took you. He was kind but he still got you in just the right spots making you crave more. He was attentive and made it enjoyable. Unlike your mysophobic captor, he cleaned you up.
When you woke up, Dabi's cum was not dripping from your body like last night. You were worried you'd wake up to dry cum crusted on your skin, but he had cleaned you up. Not only had he cleaned you up from his ejaculation, but he had put clothes on you. Instead of being naked, you wore a long-sleeved pajama shirt and jogging pants. As you felt the bedding you noticed he had changed the sheets and blankets from your sinful acts of the previous night. You must've been really out of it because you hadn't woke up. Whether it was from him wearing you out from your activities, or the fact you hadn't felt so safe sleeping in such a long time remained a mystery.
You pulled yourself out of bed, wincing slightly at the pain. It was more bearable than what Kai was capable of doing to you, and once you stopped thinking about the pain you barely noticed it. You couldn't lie that it hurt Dabi wasn't there when you woke up, but you knew that had someone caught Dabi in your bedroom like that it would cause hell for you both. Sure Dabi was supposed to watch you, but if he was seen leaving your room so early in his clothes from the day before it would arise suspicious questions. He would have to return to your room in the late morning when people could witness him coming to watch you in an innocent matter.
Despite that rational thinking, you couldn't help but wonder if he regretted last night at all. As you slipped on clean fresh clothes you couldn't help but wonder if he meant his words to you. You couldn't help but ponder on if he meant them with honesty. You carried such baggage and trouble with you, a relationship together would be so troublesome for him.
A knock on the door broke you out of your reverie. You quickly pulled your shirt down as you spoke out through the closed door.
"Who is it?"
"It's Dabi."
You tried to slow down the heart palpations you received as you briskly walked over to the door and opened it. Just the sound of his deep voice brought electricity to every fiber of your body but seeing him standing in the doorway made you smile. He came back.
"Hey."
Dabi stepped inside your room and closed the door behind him. He was quick to pull you against his chest, his warmth completely engulfing you. You were relishing in his touch so much you hadn't realized tears were beginning to escape your eyes and drip onto his shirt. You hadn't realized up until Dabi pulled away and tilted your head up with his hands. His long fingers hooked behind your ears and his warm thumbs pushed away your tears.
"What's wrong? Did I accidentally hurt you?"
"No, no you didn't. I'm sorry. I just- I know why you had to leave... But I was worried you regretted it. Regretted last night."
Your tone hushed and got quiet as you mumbled out the last part. Due to your proximity, Dabi still heard it. He pulled you against his chest again. His hold was tighter, more protective but not hurtful.
"Doll, I didn't regret it."
"Are you sure? I wouldn't blame you. I know what complications come with me and you're not obligated to stick around just because I gave myself to you."
"Baby doll, I don't intend to leave. I'm staying and gettin' both you and Eri out. I meant what I said last night."
Your head rested against Dabi's chest as you let out a sigh of relief. You breathed in Dabi's scent of smoke, cigarettes, and sulfur. They were bad smells, yet they brought comfort and safety to your stomach. You lifted your head off of his chest and plopped your lips onto his. It was such a normal action, but it was so foreign. It had been so long since you willingly incited such a romantic action. It was wrong to do it with Dabi when you were dating Kai, albeit forcefully, but it was so right. When you were pulled against his chest, in his arms, you couldn't care to give Kai a single thought. You couldn't be bothered to care if it was morally wrong or right to cheat on a relationship that was forced on you.
Kai was wrong. All the words he'd spoken to you. All the phrases and hurtful words he spits out. Every time he said no one could love you. Every time he said he was the only one who could love you. He was wrong, it was all wrong. Dabi could love you. Dabi did love you.
"I was half asleep when I said it... but I meant what I said too."
Dabi dipped his head down to your ear and gave it a light nibble before whispering roughly, leaving tickles down your eardrum and cochlea.
"I really do love you. I know it's early to say that... But you make me feel things. I'm so closed off, but you make me want to tell you everything about myself."
"Then tell me. You know so much about me, you know about Eri and my mother... I wanna know more about you."
Dabi pulls out of your embrace but keeps a hand in yours. He lightly tugs you along with him to your bed. Once he sits down on the fluffy blankets, he pulls you on top of his lap.
"What do you want to know, doll?"
Your hands came up and played with Dabi's hair as you nestled your body against his. Eliciting a smile from Dabi, you lightly tugged and pulled, but not in the same manner as the night before. It was nice to be able to just touch and love without getting hurt.
"Everything. I wanna know everything about you Dabi."
"God, I don't know where to start... I guess I'll start with my childhood."
Dabi wrapped his arms around your waist, one arm around your back and the other across your lap. His warm hands gripped your thigh and waist as he spoke out his words to you. Dabi had briefly mentioned before that his father was abusive, that his father was mean but he escaped out. You couldn't imagine Dabi as a child, he looked so rough with his scars and staples it was hard to imagine him in a setting where he was young, innocent, and fresh.
"Back then I went by Touya."
"Touya... I like that. Why did you stop using it?"
"My father picked it out. He demanded that he pick it out because I was destined to surpass him, his opinion changed after I received my quirk. When I left home I wanted nothing to do with him. I dyed my hair- it was red then - and I changed my name."
"I bet you looked nice with red hair."
"Mm, I was quite the fox in high school, all the ladies loved me. I never gave them the time of day. It's not something I'm proud of, but I used them for a quick screw and then I'd forget their number."
Your chest tightened as his words registered in your brain. You knew Dabi had a bad reputation. He's a villain, some sort of bad merit comes with that. Hearing him say it was different. How could you be sure you weren't going to be one of those girls? Then again, Dabi hadn't hit you like Kai and if he had ill intent why would he be sitting here telling you about his past. Almost as if he noticed your hesitation in your brain, Dabi dug his fingers in you tighter and pulled you against him closer.
"It's different with you. You like me even though I am a villain, you like me despite my scars and staples. Those girls in high school didn't want me, they wanted Touya. They wanted his status. They wanted his wealth. They wanted Touya, the eldest Todoroki sibling."
"Todoroki... Todoroki as in Endeavor, like the hero?"
"Enji Todoroki is my father, but he is not a hero."
Before Kai closed you off from the world you'd seen Endeavor on the news a lot. As the number two hero, he made lots of appearances. With All Might's lack of recent activity, Endeavor began taking the spotlight more. Although he wasn't your favorite hero, you thought he was one of the greats. As Dabi gripped onto you tightly he made a face, a face of fear. He looked scared and nervous to be talking about the man who raised him. Endeavor saved people, but clearly, there was a dark presence behind the man.
"He was obsessed with surpassing All Might. When my quirk showed up he was less than happy, he pressured my mom into having more kids, more weapons for him to use. My mother gave birth to my sister Fuyumi, my brother Natsuo, then finally she had Shouto."
It was like Dabi's breath hitched in his throat. He had a hard time letting the words out. He hadn't ever told anyone about his childhood. In school, he never allowed himself to be close to anyone, and he never uttered a word to a soul in the league.
"Shouto had both of my parents quirks, and to Enji that was valuable. He separated my brother from me and my siblings, forced him to train to become a hero at a very young age. He abused my mother when she tried to stop him, physically and mentally. She couldn't bear to look at me, behind I looked so much like him."
You pulled Dabi's head against your neck and he was quick to bury himself inside it. He let out a few sobs, but they were muffled against your skin. His tears streamed down his face as he pulled back to finish talking.
"Eventually she snapped. She threw a pot of boiling water down Shouto's face, the side of him that looked like Enji. He threw her in a mental institution. I was twelve, and I had to help raise Fuyumi, Natsou, and Shouto. I was just twelve, and I had to cook dinners. I was twelve and I had to help Natsuo with his math homework. I was twelve and I watched Enji train my brother so hard he threw up, and when I tried to stop him I would get beat."
"Oh, Dabi..."
"When I turned seventeen he became tamer. He never beat Fuyumi, she was his soft spot, and he never beat Natsuo... I think his face reminded him too much of my mom. They stopped needing me, so I left. I faked my suicide and left. I still keep tabs on them. My sister is a teacher, still living at home to take care of him. Natsuo's in college, and Shouto's in the prestigious UA."
Dabi moved his hands from your thigh to your face. He cupped your cheeks and brought his lips to yours.
"I hate my father for the abuse. I hate him so much, but to stay in the game long enough for my siblings to stay safe, I had to play the game. I had to lay down and place my cheek up until they were old enough to stand up and defend themselves, old enough to not need me."
"You don't deserve that. No one deserves that."
"You don't deserve it, but I need you to do it. I need you to play Kai's game. Pretend that you want him. Pretend you can't get enough of him. Pretend your so in love. We need him to get laxer. The laxer he is, the easier--safer it'll be to get you and Eri out. To survive the games you gotta play the game."
You mirrored Dabi's actions by pressing your lips back against his. Your kisses held passion and love. Your hand came up and caressed his cheek softly, skimming lightly over his staples, unsure if it was a soft and sensitive or not.
"I'll do it Dabi. I'll hate every minute of it, but I'll do it. I'll stop fighting, give in, embrace it. I'll play Kai's game."
Hawks x Todoroki!Fem!Reader
Hey! Requests are open to feel free to ask!
The fem!reader is a Todoroki here!
"Mmh... What could Shoto want to buy her? Well, I better wait for him to tell me about this girl." Y/N was making her way to meet with her younger brother, Shoto. He asked for her help to buy something for a girl, so being a great older sister, Y/N agreed.
Y/N is very close to her siblings since she is one of the oldest of the five Todoroki's. Y/N born a year after Touya and when their mother was sent to the hospital, she took the mother role for them. Obviously, Fuyumi helped her but Y/N wanted Fuyumi to have a normal childhood. Making her like the second mother for them.
For Shoto was the same. After Rei was sent to the hospital, he always went to Y/N after training for comfort. Sometimes, she had to cheer him up after a rough training and he started crying.
Now, with 24 years, Y/N keeps talking with her siblings and helping them the best she can. She visits her mother a lot too, more than her siblings.
For her dad, she only waits that someday he realizes what he could have and that now he at least tries to get closer to his kids.
"Y/N-nee. Sorry that I'm late." Y/N turned to where the voice comes from. She sees her little brother coming her way. She got up from where she was sitting and hug him.
"Don't worry Shoto! Well, let's begin with this!" She was excited, her brother didn't have a normal childhood and she knew that better than anyone. Seeing him try so hard for this girl made her happy. "If you want me to help you to search for something perfect for her, you have to tell me about this girl first. Let's take a walk while you tell me about her and after that, we can go and buy her something."
"Yeah, sure. That's the best way." And so, Shoto starts talking about the girl.
Y/N enjoyed listening to him, hearing in his voice the appreciation that he has for her and watching his eyes shine a little while he talked about her. She wanted someone to talk about her like that. As a teenager, she didn't have a lover since her siblings were the most important thing for her, but now that she doesn't have much responsibility over them, she can begin searching for someone. But she hasn't had the time.
After walking around and talking all the way, Shoto finished and Y/N came up with an excellent idea for the girl.
"Momo was it? OK, I'm sure that she will like this." Y/N showed him the gift that she was thinking about. A ring, not too expensive but beautiful indeed. After Shoto bought it (with Endeavor's credit card) the two of them got out of the shop. Y/N told Shoto that she'll walk him to UA so nothing happens to him in the way there. In her words, it was getting too late and he was tired to notice if some villain came out of nowhere.
"Y/N, you really don't need to keep me company, what if something happens to you in your way to your apartment? I should be the on-" the girl put her hand in front of his face, putting a stop to his ranting immediately. She didn't want to hear him say that she was weak.
"You know that I'm strong Shoto. I don't need someone to protect me. Dad trained me too and I have a dual quirk like yours but I didn't want to be a hero. I prefer to be a teacher. But even so, I'm strong so I can take care of myself."
Looking towards Shoto, Y/N saw him looking down. She felt bad for how she replied to him. It wasn't in an angry tone but maybe he took it in a bad way.
"Don't feel bad, I know your intentions were good. You're too overprotective." She gave him a reassuring smile. "I will be fine. It's not even dark, see?" Y/N's hands were pointing at the sky trying to make her point valid.
They said goodbye after arriving at UA. Y/N saw him enter the dorms and then took her leave making her way home.
On the way home, she remembers that she had to make dinner. Thinking about what to make she didn't realize that someone was calling her from afar.
When the voice got closer she for out of her thoughts. She turned around to see who was calling for her. It was none other than Endeavor.
"Dad? What are you doing here?" Y/N was genuinely curious about it? She saw how he tensed when she called him 'Dad'.
"I'm... Patrolling. How have you been? I didn't saw you the other day when Shoto and Natsu were in the house?"
"Oh, that day? Sorry, I couldn't make it." She was telling the truth. After her father fought against that Nomu and got his scar in the eye, she wanted to go see him but she didn't have time with all the work that she had.
Later that day, Fuyumi called her and told her sister what happened.
Y/N couldn't believe that her father apologized for everything.
"I had a lot of work to do that day. But Fuyumi called me and told me everything."
She was about to speak again but something caught her attention before she had the chance. Someone was behind her dad. He had blonde hair and he was wearing a hero costume.
' I feel like I have seen him before... But I can't remember.'
She turned her attention to the guy behind her dad.
"Mmmh... Hi?" Endeavor turned to look at where her daughter was looking at. He notices that Hawks was behind him.
"What the hell are you doing here birdbrain?" Endeavor got mad, he wants to talk to his daughter and he shows up? Annoying.
"Oh, hi Endeavor-san! I was patrolling here too. I saw you and come to say hi." Hawks change his attention towards Y/N fast. "And I saw you talking to this cutie so I had to come here and present myself. I'm Hawks, nice to meet you." She noticed how his tone changed for one more smooth and flirtatious.
"Nice to meet you too... I'm Todoroki Y/N." She gave him a sweet smile that Endeavor was sure that she got from Rei. Hawks face went from flirtatious to shocked.
"You are Endeavor's daughter?! You look nothing alike! And you are beautiful?! How can you be his daughter?!" Y/N was laughing at how the guy in front of her was looking back and forth between her and her father. Endeavor's face was just making this funnier for her.
After laughing for a good time, she decided to keep talking.
"Yeah, I get that a lot. I look a lot like my mother so I don't have that many things from my father." She finally turns to look at her dad. She wanted to finish talking with him but Hawks was in the way.
"Ok Hawks. I'm talking with my daughter about something important. Leave." He was angry, he really wants to finish talking with his daughter.
"Ok ok, it sure looks serious." He turned to Y/N and gave her one of his flirty smiles.
"I guess I'm going to have to ask for your number so we can keep talking later." Y/N blushed at his smooth way of asking for her number. She took a piece of paper from her bag and a pencil. After writing her number she gave it to him. Hawks left with a huge smile in his face, annoying Endeavor even more.
"... Did you really have to do that?" Endeavor was huffing, he made a mental note to kill that bird later.
"I want to finish the conversation so it was faster to give him what he wanted." Y/N was still blushing but she really wanted to finish talking with her dad. So that's what she did.
"Ok so, what did you want to say to me?"
"I'm sorry. I know that you had to take care of your sibling when... Your mother was sent to the hospital." Her blush and her flustered state were replaced by a glare directed at her father.
"After YOU sent her." Y/N pointed a finger in his face. She didn't want him to sugarcoat anything.
Endeavor stays quiet for a while. He knew that she was right.
"... I know, but I want to be someone better..."
At that moment, Y/N saw the regret in her father's eyes. Taking a deep breath she began her speech.
"You know, we could have been a happy family, with mom, with us... With Touya..." She took a deep breath. It hurts so talk about her only older brother. She misses him every day. And Endeavor could feel that. Filling him with more regret that before.
"But you only cared about power and not us. Heck, I don't even know if you even loved mom..." She looked him in the eyes this time. "But I know you are trying..."
Endeavor was taken aback by what Y/N said. She took his silence to her advantage and continue talking.
"I visit mom every week, and I have seen the flowers. But still, that doesn't mean that I'm going to forgive you. And I'm sure that Natsuo was furious when you apologized to them... Because I know him too well, and I'm sure that Shoto was just looking at you and Fuyumi trying to calm everything. Because I know them better that you. And if you want to start being a good father."
She raised her voice with the last words. Endeavor felt his breath hitch. Not even fighting villains made him felt this way. But he kept listening to his daughter.
"... start for knowing your children." Y/N finished her speech, she was out of breath. But she kept talking anyway. For her siblings and for her dad.
"Ask them how they are, worry about them. I'm sure that you are trying, and I'm happy, but do your best. Go further."
Starting to walk away, she turned to say something else.
"And as for me... I already see you as a hero at least, so give your best so I can see you as a father." And with that, she left.
After talking with her dad, Y/N arrived at her apartment. She left the bags in the table to go change her clothes. It didn't take long so she started cooking right after that.
While cutting the food she saw little drops of water in her hands. She stopped doing whatever she was doing. Her hands traveled to her face, that's when she realized that she was crying.
She broke down, she let all the tears that didn't fell when they needed it.
-Time skip-
It had been three months since Y/N talked to her dad, she watched how he tried to do his best to make her proud.
And even in so little time, a lot has changed for her.
"Y/N-chan!" She let out a little gasp from the sudden voice. It was none other than her boyfriend who found joy in scaring her whenever he found it funny.
"Hawks?! How did you get in?! I haven't given you the key to my apartment!" He does spend a lot of time in her apartment but only when she is there too. He doesn't have the keys yet.
"Ah, I got in with the window. I knocked but you didn't hear me so I have to go throw there." He smiles at her and hugged her right after. She doesn't know how he does it to make her feel so relaxed in his arms but she did. She hugs him back and stays in his arms for a while.
A week after Y/N gave him her phone number, Hawks called her and asked for a date to get to know each other. After that date, that had another one, and do on. A month and a half after, he finally had the courage to asked to be his girlfriend. They have been a couple for two months now and the two of them have enjoyed it a lot. More than Y/N expected. Not in a bad way.
Her siblings and father didn't know about her new relationship. She didn't want to rush things with Hawks or make him uncomfortable but she wanted to change that. Her family is the most important thing to her so this would be a big step for her.
With that in mind, she let go of the hug, to look at him in the eyes. She didn't miss the whine that Keigo let out after she let go of him.
"Keigo, are you free today?"
"Yeah, why? You want to go somewhere?" He tried to bring her closer to the hug again.
Now, letting go completely from the hug and leaving a pouting Hawks. Y/N turned around and began looking for her things.
"I want you to go somewhere with me."
She didn't tell him where they were going. Y/N made her way to the hospital where her mother is. She wants her to meet Keigo to finally let her know that she is having a normal and happy life.
The first step is her mother and then her siblings and father.
"We are here." Y/N smiled at the familiar building. Her boyfriend just watched her with confusion all over his face. Why were they in a hospital?
"Ah! Y/N-san! Good to see you!" Hawks watched in confusion at how a nurse greets his girlfriend with so much familiarity in her voice. He didn't know that Y/N was known in the hospital since she goes every week to see her mom.
"Your mom is in her room." The same nurse told Y/N and then left her with Hawks.
"Wait..." Hawks began to put everything together and he began to get nervous fast.
"Y/N... I know your mom was in a hospital, you told me about it. But you want me to meet her now?! What if she doesn't like me?!" He was panicking. Y/N that he was gonna start panicking, that's the main reason why she didn't tell him where they were going beforehand.
She put her hands in his face. Her hold was gentle and it made him relax almost instantly.
"You know, if you got me to love you I'm sure that my mom is going to love you too." She gave him a sweet smile. Oh, how Hawks loves her smile.
He was blushing, that's the other thing that he loves the most about her, she gets this side of him. He relaxes in her hands and let out a breath."Ok, let's do this."
Taking his hand, Y/N opens the door.
"Hi, mom. I want you to meet someone." Y/N gave her mother a big smile. She has talked about him a lot with her mom, she even told him how they met.
"Hello dear. I'm guessing that the young man is Hawks?" Rei smiled at him. It was the same smile that his girlfriend gave him to calm him down.
'Like mother, like daughter huh?'
Putting his best smile and trying to hind his nerves, Hawks introduce himself.
"Pleasure to meet you Miss Todoroki. Now I know from where Y/N got her beauty." His girlfriend and her mother just laughed at his comment.
The evening pass with laughter from the mother and daughter duo and jokes from Hawks. Rei gave Hawks her blessing. Leaving a blushing Y/N and a smirking Hawks.
The couple arrives at Y/N's apartment. She went to change her clothes and then she began cooking for dinner. In the middle of it, she felt a pair of arms hugging her from behind.
"Keigo, I'm making dinner. Weren't you hungry?" She smiled to herself when she felt Hawks hugging her tighter. But when he began to get close to her neck and she felt his breathing, her face turned red just like the color of his wings.
"Yeah... But I want to hold you more." He snuggles closer to her. Making Y/N stop cutting the ingredients for dinner, turning around and returning his hug.
That's how they lost their dinner because of a needy Keigo.
-Time skip-
"Hawks... My siblings are coming. Do you want to meet them?" It has been a few days since he met Rei and he was confident that Y/N's siblings were going to love him.
Oh, how wrong he was.
"Yeah! When are they going to arrive?" Just when Y/N was about to answer him, the two of them heard a knock at the door
"They are here." Y/N made her way to the door and open it to her sibling. She greets them happily and told them to come inside.
"How have you been Natsuo? I haven't seen you in a long time!" Y/N hugged her younger brother. He was in college so she didn't get to see him a lot. She did feel bad but Natsuo always reassures her that it was fine and not to worry.
"I have been great! And you, ho-" Natsuo was happy to see his big sister and he was more than happy to tell her about his college. However, his face went from happy to overprotective in a second.
"Y/N-nee, what is a guy doing in your apartment."
'Well, he notices him fast.'
She let go of Natsuo's hug and went to hug Hawks to show her point.
"Well, I want you to meet Hawks, my boyfriend." She said it with a proud smile in her face that made Hawks smile too.
"You have a boyfriend, Nee-chan?! You didn't tell!" Fuyumi was surprised, but happy nonetheless. 'So that's why she has been happier!'
"Yeah... I'm sorry, but at least he met mom already and he loved him. Right, Keigo?" She turned to look at her boyfriend only to see that the smile that he had just a moment ago was replaced with a frown. Natsuo and Shoto were having a glaring contest with Keigo. Y/N let go of Hawks and let out a long sigh.
"Let's go to the kitchen Fuyumi. I knew they were going to do that."
"So you are the one who didn't leave time for Y/N to join me in shopping something again." Shoto was glaring at Hawks. He didn't like her sister to spend time with another guy. Yeah, he is the overprotective and jealous little brother.
"And Y/N doesn't go to MY place anymore cuz she has to spend all her time with you." Natsuo was glaring at Hawks, he was the same type as Shoto.
At that moment, Hawks knew that this wasn't going to be like meeting Y/N's mom. He was in trouble.
"Well, you are angry with me but have you seen how happy your sister is now?" Hawks smirked. He was going to play the guilty card. A dirty okay but effective none the less.
Natsuo and Shoto were quiet now. He was right, Y/N do seem a lot happier than before.
The two left a growl out. They hate losing.
"OK, fine, just don't hurt her." Natsuo was still glaring at him.
"I would never. I love her a lot to hurt her. For real." Hawks smile, remembering the time that they have spent together.
"Well you seem honest so I'm sure that you are a good guy. Take care of her." Shoto relaxed seeing that Hawks really cared for his sister.
Y/N finished making dinner and called everyone to eat. All of them were talking about trivial things. Y/N was happy that her family accepted Hawks and their relationship together.
Overall, it was a great dinner and Y/N really enjoy her time with the people she loves the most.
-Time skip-
"Bye! See you soon!" Y/N close the door after saying bye to her siblings.
"Wow, I'm tired." After a long day, she really was hoping to go to sleep fast.
"Mmh, I'm tired too, but at least now I know your siblings. I'm happy about that." Hawks smile at her, he knows that she really tries her best when it comes to her siblings.
"Yeah, I feel like you are part of the family now. A little bit." She said. She went to hug him and Keigo correspond to her instantly.
"Why don't we go to sleep? We are both tired..." Y/N just nodded her head. She was too sleepy to talk now. Keigo took her in his arms and made his way carefully to her room. He laid her down in her bed.
"I have to go now, princess. See you tomorrow." Kissing her forehead as a goodbye, he started to walk to the door only to being stopped by Y/N who just grabbed his arm.
"Mmmh... Hawks, stay with me..." She was sleepy, but with the last effort, she asked him to stay with her.
He smile at her even when she had close her eyes. "Ok princess." He made his way to the bed and laid down to cuddle with his girlfriend.
Saying goodbye to each other the two of them fell sleep in Y/N's bed hugging each other.
❝ Dabi Todoroki :: Short Story :: If I fall ❞
  。\|/。
Tumblr media
Synopsis :: Dabi may have been caught, but the interrogation couldn't break him more than his childhood already had.
。/|\。
Okay, you got me. I'm crazy. But listen here - The fact that I acknowledge it in an intellectual way makes me just as sane as everyone else. It's not like I do the shit that I do for no reason. In the beginning, I had a guilty conscience. I questioned constantly if I was doing the right thing. Always had a nagging voice in the back of my head that told me that I would regret it one day. This voice happened to remind me that once I go, I can't turn back. It took awhile, but believe me when I tell you, that voice is long gone.
Now, I feel nothing.
Except, of course, these damned handcuffs that felt likey they were cutting into the flesh of my wrists. Using my quirk was futile. With these cuffs, there was a tingling sensation throughout my body. That feeling you get when your hands or feet are on pins and needles. Even If I wanted to, I wasn't stupid enough to try and fight my way out of this interrogation room with a building full of hero-wannabes.
The door behind me opens and closes. I suck in an annoyed breath and prepare for the obvious.
"You go by Dabi, right?" a man slid into the seat on the opposite side of me, gently sliding the folders on the table in front of him.
"Aren't you observant," I drawl, feigning amusement in my tone. I look this man dead in his dark eyes. He doesn't seem to be intimidated, but I wanted him to know that neither was I.
He cleared his throat, finding my sarcasm a good enough answer. I raise an eyebrow. I can't stand half-assed people.
He continues despite my clear disinterest, "my name is Koriko Ho-"
I really don't care.
"-and I'm going to ask you some questions," he glances down at the paper. "For starters, Is Dabi your real name?"
I chuckle slowly.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" This time I actually am amused. They seriously can't expect me to just hand over my identity so easily. I almost find it insulting. Only an idiot would do that, especially in my damned-to-all-hell case. Yet, the idea of my father's name being all over the news for his villain-son appealed to me a little. The humiliation it would undoubtedly give him was tempting, truly.
"We'll find out one way or another," his voice sounded as though it was forcing to stay calm. His slight discontent brings me further satisfaction. I allow the corner of my lips to curl into a small smirk. Koriko takes a small breath.
"You know what, how about we not beat around the bush, yeah?" Koriko says. Now he's speaking my language. "You were turned in by pro-heroes after a fight in an abandoned building downtown. You were left behind by your colleague, am I correct?"
Left behind isn't the term I would use. I did this willingly. I may be a damaged villain, but the one's that were there for me I have their back. I'm loyal. It was a classic 'wrong place, wrong time' sort of deal. I needed to gather just enough time to let Toga get away. If staying behind to face a fight alone to allow someone like a sister to me escape while she was recovering from her own wounds, so be it. It's worth it.
"I'm not telling you a damn thing. Save your energy for someone more useful to you," I advise. I lean back in my chair, keeping my eyes trained on him.
He pressed his lips into a thin line, takes a deep breath, and pushed his glasses up his nose.
"I tried to do this the moral way, you know," he tells me, as if I knew what the hell that meant. Until he adds, "without my quirk."
"Your quirk?"
"Feeling reading. I try not to do it as often as possible," Koriko pursed his lips and looked me up and down, no doubt noting my momentary surprise. "After all, people like to keep their feelings to themselves. Yet, you are a curious case."
So I've been told many times. I stay silent.
"You're in a lot of pain," he continues. His eyes go over my excessive burns for a moment. "Physically and emotionally. Mostly emotionally."
"I don't need you as my damn therapist," I scoff.
"I sense depression. I sense something hollow as well. Anger." Koriko looks as though he wishes he could stop, but doesn't. I begin to get a little uneasy, because I happen to be a personal person that takes a great offense to someone violating my mind, "Yet, you have it all bottled up, huh?"
"Stop."
"You need help. You want help."
"No, I don't. I'll deal with shit on my own like I always had," despite my deadpanned tone, it was obvious to this man that he was striking some nerve. The nerve that I have of violating my thoughts. My feelings. The only thing I was able to keep to myself.
Koriko smiles a bit.
"That's where the hollow feeling comes from, isn't it?" He says to me . It seemed that the more irritated I got, the more intrigued he became. I liked it better when he was the one getting angry. Then again now that I think about it, it probably wasn't anger. More like stain from trying not to use his quirk. I suddenly felt like the little bit of power I had left had been taken away.
What's the point?
I was going to jail. Most likely for a long time. It wasn't like I could save myself. The realization that I was only stalling the inevitable hit me hard. Suddenly, all I wanted was to get out of this room. Away from this man. I grew tired.
"Touya Todoroki," I tell him. The name sounded disgusting coming off the tongue. I look away from him to avoid the shock on his expression.
"Now that explains it," Koriko nodded slowly, stopped himself to think for a moment, then added. "I heard things, you know. That you were the one that drove your own mother crazy, not your little brother. Just rumors, of course."
I wanted to hurt him.
My expression shifts to a rage that I try and breathe deeply to contain it better. An image of that pathetic woman comes to my mind. She did nothing. Nobody ever did anything. She sat by and let me hurt. Let her children hurt. Oh, I never blamed my siblings. They were victims to that ass just as much as I was. I can only Imagine how it's been since I've been gone. I suppress the urge to envision it myself.
Shoto looked like me, didn't he?
It hurt because this man was most likely right. And I hated it.
"I'd hate to see the look on Endeavor's face when he sees you like this," Koriko was starting to sound like a demon, nagging at my deepest ticks. It was like he was made to do this. I hated him. I hated everyone.
"I don't give a damn what he thinks anymore," I seethe. If I could slam my hands on the table I would have. "Why do you insist on being so invasive?"
"Because I happen to think that you are far too young and damaged to be sitting in front of me!" Koriko raised his voice, standing up with his papers. He looks strained now.
"Where are you going?" I ask.
He stops and turns to me, unsure of what to say at first.
"Because your feelings are far too intense for me to take right now. It's making my head hurt."
I was left to do nothing but let those words sink in.
Tumblr media
— KATSUKI
“What the fuck. Who’s there?”
These were the first words Bakugo said when you knocked on his door and with a big smile gave him a small package wrapped around in colorful paper with smol presents and fireworks on the edges.
“What is it?”
“A gift, don’t you see? It’s for you, Katsuki.” You smiled gently. “Can I come in? I want to see your reaction for this.”
Bakugo frowned while letting you into his room in the class-shared dorm.
When you entered the room, you looked around. Although you have been here many times, you still admired the cleanliness in Baku's room. And also you admired this small picture in the frame on his desk, which depicted the two of you.
“What occasion is this gift?” You heard a quiet, slightly uncertain question. “Anniversary of our friendship or something like that shit?”
“No, you fool. It’s April 20. Are you dumb?”
“Huh?”
“Your birthday... idiot. Then, yes. Happy birthday, Katsuki!” You screamed joyfully, clapping your small hands. “Open, open now. Please!”
Bakugo stood shocked, completely unsuspecting of ever getting a present from someone. Not counting his parents, of course. But you weren’t his mom or dad, you’re his... crush. His fucking ideal girl who he crushed from over a year. Getting a present from you was like a marriage proposal with him in his eyes. Of course he was moved, although he tried not to show it (as always in your presence, by the way).
When he ripped colored paper and took out a few chocolates and soft material, he looked at you questioningly. However, you stood quietly, just blushing on your cheeks.
“This is...”
“Scarf! I made it by myself! Expand it.” You told him, so he did it quikly. A green scarf with the black inscription ‘Ground Zero’ looked extremely charming in his eyes. He didn’t even realize that you could do this kind of things...
“It’s really...”
“Yeah. I know, you don’t like shit like this so much, but I thought you would need it... Especially during the winter, when you’ll have to warm up to be stronger during the fight or training...” You muttered quietly, at which Bakugo smiled softly.
“I can get shit like this from you for every birthday, Y/N. Thank you.”
You quickly came up to him and hugged his body smelling of delicate, coconut gel. Katsuki felt his cheeks turn as red as the caption on the green material...
Damn. So, it’s his turn to surprise you and maybe... invite you on a date... haha, just kidding... unless...?
— SHOTO
Shoto didn’t like Christmas. Maybe in totally another family this special time would been really nice, but not at the moment when his father was Enji and his mother was still in the hospital on the other side of town. Or if his siblings was be in one place... not as currently, when Toya disappeared few years ago, Fuyumi worked in school from morning to the evening, and Natsuo had his private life and studies. That's the reason why Todoroki was hate Christmas, New Year Eve, and every other holiday like his own birthday or Children's Day.
Anyway. It was supposed to be the first Christmas in U.A High School. He didn’t wait for this day, unlike some people in 1-A Class like Uraraka, Mineta and Kirishima were charged with too much energy. But he? Shoto looked at everything with tired eyes, thinking about the excuse to not spend this time with friends, carols and gingerbreads.
The day before Christmas Eve all people of your class organized a huge supper in the main room. Sato prepared delicious cakes, Mina, Bakugo and you took care of cooking dishes. Kaminari and Sero decorated the room, while Izuku with Shoji’s help had decorated a Christmas tree... and Momo and Tsui was cleaned the living room before. Everything looked really beautiful... Yet Shoto couldn’t enjoy it at all.
Right, admiring your person in an apron and a soft smile on your face was pleasant, but it was the only thing that Shoto noticed. Therefore, at one point he put the newspaper on the table next to the sofa and stood up, directing his person to his own room.
Hardly anyone paid any attention to him, but you (as befits a good, pure soul) wanted to follow him to asked what happened. Bakugo’s voice, however, stopped you from doing this thing.
“Leave this two-shitty-haired-color boy alone, Y/N. If he wants, he’ll come back to us later.”
“Yes, but...” You sighed quietly, unbuttoning your white apron. “Give me a moment, Baku. And look after the pasta, please!”
“She’s stupid or what. The Todo-Lion will kill her.” The pink girl whispered. Bakugo shrugged and went back to cooking.
At the same time, you went to your room for a gift that you made with your own hands. You knew that Shoto didn’t like Christmas and didn’t feel their magic, but even this didn’t stop you from making a warm scarf in a color who’s matches with his hero’s outfit. Anyway... You wanted to give something to your sympathy, that’s all.
You liked Todoroki, so that’s why you wanted to give him something. Holidays were, of course, a good reason to do it.
When you knocked on your friend’s room, your heart sped up slightly. And when Shoto dressed in black turtleneck opened the door for you and raised an eyebrow, because he not expecting anyone, especially your visit.
“Can I go inside?” You asked, and the heterochromic boy opened the door wider. When you got inside you immediately looked at his face. “I know you don’t like Christmas... And I also know that you don’t like getting anything from someone, but I thought...” You gave him a paper, silver bag. “... this would be super useful for you in this time of the year. I didn’t know what to buy, so ultimately I did something by myself. I hope you like it... If not, it’s okay! I can do something completely different for you... Like gloves or a beanie. “
Shoto opened both his eyes widely and then a bag with a woolen blue scarf inside.
Shoto.exe has stopped working.
“T-This is... for me?”
“Yes. It’s Christmas, Shoto. Soooo, Merry Christmas!”
“Thank you... But... I have nothing for you, Y/N... I’m sorry...”
“It’s alright. You can hug me or smile to me as a thank you. I think this will be the best present.” You said cheerfully, opening your arms.
Todoroki hugged you tightly to his chest and even gave you a little kiss on the forehead. You stood cuddled up in him for a few minutes, and he thought about confessing love to you at the same time.
Maybe... now after the Christmas dinner?
— DENKI
“Hey, Mina? Ummm... Do you know where’s Kaminari?” You came up to the girl who was sitting on the big sofa in the main room and playing on the PlayStation with Uraraka and Toru.
“No...” She murmured in surprise. “Is something wrong that you’re looking for him?”
“Nothing special. Denki has just been sad since recently, so I just wanted to take him for a walk and to the cafe.”
Ashido opened her mouth to say something, but Eijiro’s hand rested on your shoulder. “He’s behind our dorm. When I bypassed him, he said he was going to rest or something like that.”
“Oh!” You breathed a sigh of relief. “Thanks, Kirishima!” You said quickly, equally quickly you left the four students and heading towards the exit from the dorm. At that moment, Mina noticed the small package in your hands and, of course, she knew what this could mean... Would you finally decided to reveal your feelings to Kaminari? It seemed interesting move in the pink girl’s eyes.
However, you fast found a golden-haired boy with a lightning bolt-shaped streak of black who’s sat on a bench under a large, oak tree. From a distance, you saw his bored expression and the dark circles under his eyes that appeared on his face three days ago.
As a good friend, you wanted to improve Denki’s mood. You weren’t very good at these matters, but thanks to watching a lot of TV series and movies you remembered some friendly habits. One of them was just giving presents and taking the other person to the coffee shop or food bar.
“Denki?” You started quietly because you didn’t want to scare him. When the yellow boy noticed you, he immediately moved his head and brought a smile on his own face.
“Y/N! Hi!” He answered loudly, so you rolled your eyes. “Something happened?”
“I’m the one, who should ask this question.”
The boy looked at you questioningly, but without a word you sat next to him with a gift in your lap. You quickly opened a light, thin paper and pulled out a downy, dark-yellow scarf with small, black lightnings. You slowly wrapped the material around your friend’s neck and smiled softly to him.
“You’ve been in a worse mood for a long time, so I decided to help you a little. I would like you to know that you’ll always find support in me and if something happens, tell me about it, okay?”
“Y/N...” Denki grabbed the edge of a two-colored scarf and ran one finger over it.
“I did it for two days, so you better appreciate it!”
“You made it by yourself?! You shouldn’t...” His cheeks turns red.
“Of course I should. You’re in a bad and nasty humor. If it happens again, I can sew you a socks next time... Now, get up.”
Kaminari looked at you with another question mark painted on his face. “What? Why?”
“We’re going to a cafe. And later we’ll go to a pizzeria or on a burgers! I’m soooo hungry. You too, right?” You turned the other way to hide the cherry pigment on your skin, while he lowered his head, blushing even more.
“Ummm... So, this is a date?” He asked uncertainly when his heart was beating louder and faster than usual. This isn’t surprising... he liked you a lot. Is it possible that a girl like you also liked him in THIS way...?
“Y-Yeah. Why not? So, come. Our date will get away, Denki!”
Oooh myYyyY GOddD.
Tumblr media
— EIJIRO
Kirishima stood with Tetsutetsu and paid no attention to the world around him. No wonder... After all, it was the end of the school year for the all last classes in U.A. High School, and Tetsutetsu was his friend for last three years. He had to say goodbye to him and then to his own class, 3-A.
You stood alone on the other side the corridor and waited for Kirishima to come back to you and the rest of your friends. But yet, you sighed quietly and returned to class, taking a seat on the bench, which in a few minutes, after the last speech of Mr. Aizawa will cease to be yours. It’s too sad.
Next to your leg lay your bag in which there was a small present for Eijiro. Of course, you couldn’t finish school without giving him anything. Or not confessed the feelings that had developed in you since almost the beginning of education.
The last bell was a godsend for you and other 3-A students. Kirishima returned to class and you looked at him with a smol smile. He decided to approach you. Thanks to that, some courage gathered within you. You reached for your bag and then pulled the red-haired boy to the back of the classroom.
“Something happened, Y/N? We’re finishing in a moment. After that, we can talk.” He started uncertainly, but you shook your head.
“Later I may not do it at all...” You started shyly, taking a small gift for Kirishima out of the black bag. “It’s for you. For at the end of education and... everything else.”
“Huh? For me?” He asked in shock, accepting the gift. “Thank you, but... I have nothing for you...”
“I don’t want anything in return, Eiji.” You said it lightly and then took a deep breath. “Anyway... I also wanted to say that I like you. Since... Since for a long time. Before we finished this school and we will go to other universities, I wanted to tell you that. I would regret if I kept it to myself.” You added, looking at the floor in the classroom. Kirishima’s eyes widened.
This can’t be true.
“Y/N?”
“Yes, yes. It’s a little bit embarrassing, but I prefer to confess it to you.”
THIS CAN’T BE TRUE.
You not only gave him a super soft and red scarf, which perfectly matched his costume and the whole idea of ‘Red Riot’, but you also admitted that you like him! Eijiro was shocked. SO SHOCKED.
“Woah... I don’t know what to say...” He started and you blushed. ”I mean... I like you from the first day of school and I was always afraid that you don’t like me in this way. And now something like this... This scarf is the most manly thing I’ve ever seen! I will proudly wear it. And well... What I’ll say is probably a little bit embarrassing too, but... Do you want to go on a date with me? I don’t know where yet, but together we’ll come up with something!”
“Y-Yes. Eiji, I...”
“Y/L/N, Kirishima. Take your places now. You two will go on date and talked about this after the last class meeting.”
At the sound of Mr. Aizawa’s voice and words, you and Eijiro became as red as the scarf. At the same time, the rest of the class who’s came back, started laugh at two of you.
