First point. Considering Kishimoto had already decided that Naruto would be an orphan regardless, there really isn't much that could be done about that specific scenario that wouldn't paint Minato in a negative light *unless* there was additional involvement from someone else instead of *just* Minato and Kushina. With that in consideration Minato *and* Kushina were both fucked over royally.

Secondly, we've talked a lot about dad's in Naruto, but what about the moms?

First point. Are we talking about Obito?

Second. About the moms I have a different problem, because most of the time Kishi cannot (be bothered to) write women, but still tries to write mothers and then reduces them to that just that :(
