What is your advice for someone who can read tarot relatively okay for other people but is trash when it comes to reading for themself? (Cards dont make sense and literally every card is reversed despite careful shuffling to get a healthy mix of both upright and reversed cards)

*hugs* I know that frustration all too well.

Ok, so here are some things I say to everyone where tarot reading is concerned:

It's not just what the cards say, it's what they don't say. A tarot deck works by representing the whole world and all of the various turns and twists of fate people can experience. When Death shows up, but not the Ten of Swords, that's because you're dealing with Death, but not in the form of an ending. Likewise, if the Three of Coins appears and not the Eight, then your experience will reflect financial growth and demonstration of your mastery, rather than the learning of that skillset.

For this reason, I encourage diviners to adopt a different method for reading inversions than "the bad version of this card" or "the opposite." For the latter, there's already a card in the deck for any "opposite" meaning you could come up with. For the former... every card can be bad or good in the right circumstance. For myself, I use a method where the inverted cards are signs that the querent will have difficulty understanding that card, and I should take pains to carefully explain that one, pointing out nuances that might be missed. Generally it means the card is "shadowed," or their own beliefs and views obstruct the truth. Another really good one I read recently is the idea of an upright card being "invoked" and an inverted card being "banished," which is a very interesting perspective. I like the idea of "this card is departing from you, or taking its blessing/curse/experience away."

Those two things I say to everyone, just to clear space. The first really specific piece of advice I'd give to you if you're having trouble reading for yourself is do not add cards. Read what's already there. Take a picture of it, note everything in a journal, and look at it periodically. Focus not on what your feeling is, but what the card means. Do research, look it up in books, especially your own writings on the card if you have them. Seriously, adding too many cards makes the reading even harder to read. "Clarification" cards are a joke.

In addition, check your spread. The spreads we use are how we talk to the world and ask for information. Make sure that when you lay those cards in that pattern, you actually want the information the spread can offer. If you're looking for advice, don't ask a spread that's solely about prediction, that sort of thing.

I'd also suggest you take a look at the deck and see if it really expresses how you experience the world, and then I'd do divination that has nothing to do with your wishes for a while, to see if it can accurately relate the world to you. I wanna be specific here- what I'm talking about here is not how you wish the world was, but rather how you experience the world as it is. The deck is meant to reflect the world as it is, and reveal its secrets to you, and if the deck isn't doing that for you in your readings, you may need to use a different deck, or maybe even a different divination method at all.

If all your cards are coming up inverted all the time, that's a sign. The deck is specifically speaking to you and saying something to you. If it were my own deck, that would be a message that "you ain't gonna get it, so you may as well stop asking." I can't say what that omen means for you, but I would consider it a big one, maybe a step or two above "stalker" cards, and just below the significance of a reading that's more than 80% one suit. If that's the case, I'd ask your cards what they're trying to tell you that you're not getting, and record the answers. For myself, I use three-card combinations for those kinds of specific questions.

Secret Life Tarot Reading no. 6!

It's Scott's turn!

Quick reminder that as of reading number 5 with Tango these are done after episode 3s have come out. Also! You don't really to know anything about Tarot Cards to enjoy this post. Just understand that I'm using them to predict how our lovely ccs are gonna do in Secret Life.

First Card - Start

So to describe the (now passed) start of Secret Life for Scott I drew The Hanged Man. This card feels like it's more so saying he did well in terms of avoiding rash descions. How? My thoughts are on how while everyone else was taking silly bits of damage, from falling off of things for example, Scott didn't really do that. He did very well in thinking through his situations to avoid losing hearts.

Second Card - Individual

This card is meant to describe how Scott plays this season. I drew The Lovers. This card talks about positive collaboration and how trust in your team provides strength. I'm thinking this is saying Scott plays with a strong bond with his team or at least intends to. He wants to be able to work with his team and trust in them.

Third Card - Social

This card is supposed to describe how things go for Scott on the social aspect. I've drawn Justice in Reverse which discusses dishonesty and one-sidedness. It's funny because at first I was just looking at this card and the one before it and wondering how the heck that could make any sense. They're kind of difficult for someone to have at the same time here ya know? But then I changed perspectives a bit and it makes more sense.

There's a few ways we can take this. Usually when I'm drawing this card when someone's I'm got a team assuming that it's going to refer to their team first and the rest of the server second. Since we're looking for the more major kinda baseline stuff it just makes sense. So I suppose the first idea here is that this card is referencing Scott's social experience outside of his team. I'm not really feeling that theory but it felt best to mention it anyway. The next idea is that the dishonesty is coming from either Gem or Impulse. I'm also not going to completely shoot down the idea that Scott is the perpetrator in either of these. I just think the cards are saying he gets deceived- maybe marinated if we don't mind using Among Us terminology lmao. Someone pulls the wool over his eyes and keeps it there.

Fourth Card - Big Impact

This card is meant to tell us about what has the biggest impact on Scott's season. I drew The Chariot for this. This sounds like he survives something by the skin of his teeth. That or it's describing something like what usually happens to the last green (which Scott has plenty of experience with). If that's the case I'd reckon he sees it coming from a mile away and narrowly avoids it.

Fifth Card - End

I drew The Emperor in Reverse. This card talks about being blind to others needs as well as hiding one's true intentions. This sounds like it could be a callback to our 3rd card. Someone, whether that be a teammate or someone else, decieves him.

Final Thoughts and Theories:

I somehow drew all Major Arcana cards for this reading? Also as I was interpreting this the song Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine by The Killers popped into my head which was ironic with some of these cards. (I always have a song stuck in my head at this point I swear.)

Is he gonna win a second time? This reading certainly doesn't sound like it's giving a definite 'no' but I'm not sure it's a 'yes' either. If I had to make a guess as to how it unfolds I'd say he trusts someone he gets deceived by (cards 3&5) and it does him in. Could he pull a gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss? Sure but thats not the vibe I'm getting. Maybe he gets decieved and it results in him being unable to help his teammates. That would leave him alone after he builds his game around working strong together. If we wanna go back to my previous reading with Impulse, I said there's a chance he betrays or just overall messes things up with Gem & The Scotts. Maybe Impulse stabs him in the back for a task? The task would be the need Scott is blind to here (card 5). There's also the whole thing with how Scott is usually one of the last alive. Those who will be around towards the end of his season are likely to all be red. Yeah we'll see I suppose!

Cards: IX The Hermit, 2 of Cups, 5 of Coins, 6 of Cups (The Slavic Legends Tarot), 43. Tranquillity - Violet, 2. Communication - Pea (Green Witch Oracle)

Not gonna lie to you - It’s not exactly ace to get the Hermit card for any love related question. 😂 But then you also have the 2 of Cups… So let’s dive deeper into this! 

Both the Oracle cards are connected with Venus and the sign of Pisces. And they both speak of deeper understanding and love. You might experience a gentle shift towards topics regarding love and relationships. They might not have been your priority in the past, maybe you simply didn’t feel ready for such pressure to be part of your life because relationships, especially the romantic ones can be very complex and difficult to navigate through. Recently, you might feel like your life has reached the kind of phase where you can start exploring this aspect as well. You might want to start on a more theoretical ground as the Hermit suggests. You might get interested in romantic literature, poetry, in romance focused tarot readings even. At this point you might really appreciate the purer and more vanilla type of love more, reading about mutual understanding and spiritual connection, rather than lust and desire. You might want to resist this wind of change for a little bit but it’s really not necessary. Let's Talk Divination

This was originally going to be a much more specific post, but I decided to take in in a different direction. Today, I'm going to cover divination as a general topic, including how to practice it. 

Like my post on ritual magic, let's get started with a definition. What exactly is divination? Merriam-Webster nails it, I think: 

"The art or practice that seeks to foresee or foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge, usually by the interpretation of omens or by the aid of supernatural powers." 

I dig this definition a lot. It tells us that: 

Divination is both an art and a science 

It is both natural and supernatural 

It can be used to uncover information 

It can be used to tell the future 

That's all well and good, but why is divination important? Let's take a look at those last two points there: uncovering information and foretelling the future. 

Uncovering information spans a wide range of applications. Did you misplace your phone? A crude map of your home and a pendulum can help you remember where it is. Had something go worse than you were hoping? A tarot spread can help you examine why. 

Foretelling the future seems self-explanatory, but it's more complex than that. Divination can certainly tell you likely outcomes, but it won't set your fate in stone. If anything, it's part of being a proactive force in your own destiny. 

Alright, cool. We have some ways divination helps us out. But how do we practice it? The good news is, that's up to you! 

If you're new to the skill, I suggest starting with a pendulum. These are great because they're portable, versatile, discreet, and easy to make. All you need is about 8-10 inches of string and a small weight to tie onto the end. 

To use a pendulum, hold it by the non-weighted end and let it swing freely. Before divining, I tend to ask my pendulum to signal to me the following: 

Yes 

No 

Maybe 

Answer unknown 

That helps me calibrate the pendulum so I can clearly understand its responses. 

If you're less comfortable with freeform interpretation, there are plenty of divination mats to try. Some are simple, others are more complex and mimic spirit boards. I encourage you to make a couple out of paper and see if you like them before purchasing one. 

Mastered the pendulum? Try something a little more complicated, like Elder Futhark or Ogham. These are rune sets that are rich in symbolism but easy to make and learn. You can use wooden coins, index cards, or anything of regular size and shape to make your own and get started. 

Runes not really your thing? Or maybe you've mastered them too? In this case, I can't recommend Lenormand highly enough. It's a 36 card deck with beautiful, easy-to-understand art on every card. The best part? Each card has a playing card equivalent; you can purchase a set of poker cards and draw your own! 

Where do we go from here? I'd say oracle decks! These are unique in that they're non-standard. Each deck is highly personal to its creator and differs from all others. I suggest doing a lot of research to find one you like, and really taking the time to learn its methods and meanings. A good oracle deck will carry you very far. 

And now we come to the final divination method I'll discuss here: tarot. I kept this one for last because I consider it the hardest to learn. 

Despite the consistent 78-card requirement (22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana), there is considerable variation between decks. Finding one you like seems impossible at times, and trying to find resources can be a pain if you're not reading a RWS or one of its variants. 

But don't let that get to you. Finding a good tarot deck and learning at least the Major Arcana will net you a lot of experience in divination. Is it any more rewarding than the other methods? No, not really. But besides the pendulum, it's my favorite. 

Are these the only divination methods available? Absolutely not. Geomancy, augury, bone-casting...the list goes on. There are as many ways to divine as there are people divining—and I didn't even cover scrying, which is a topic all on its own.

Hey do you think you have any guesses on what arcana each character might be? I’d really love to see what your guesses are in one of our favorite topics for the characters and the game itself. 😁

Oh, it has been a while since I've talked about my own theories on that, hasn't it? Yeah, why not! This got long, so I'll put it under a cut.

Right off the bat, I'm still on board with the theory that the story teammates, at least, will reflect the arcana of the P5 characters they seem to parallel. I also don't think any arcana will be repeated, at least for the main Confidants (if they add more later, that could change). So for me, that means I think Wonder will be the Fool, Ruferu will be the Magician, Motoha will either be Lovers or Chariot, Shun will be the Emperor, and Riko will be the Priestess.

From there, I lean towards Motoha being the Chariot- it feels like the athletic aspects of her are treated as more important/significant in the story than the sort of popularity usually associated with a Lovers- and I think Tomoko might actually be the Lovers, given her indecision about what she wants to do now that she can't play baseball, and her crush on the protagonist (not that that's required for a Lovers arcana, but still). An additional bit of my reasoning for that is that Tomoko, who seems to parallel Shiho, is kind of an "extra" Confidant (since Shiho wasn't a Confidant at all), and then we're also "missing" a teammate (since Motoha seems to fulfill both Ann and Ryuji's roles to some extent), so it makes sense the "missing" arcana might go to an "extra" Confidant.

As for the others, the ones I have thoughts on off the top of my head:

I've talked about this one quite a bit, but I think Kiyoshi's probably the Moon

I forget who first suggested this, but I like the idea of Mont as the Strength. The tarot card itself is associated with courage and self-confidence, and reversed with self-doubt, weakness, and inadequacy, which feel like they could be themes in Mont's potential Confidant, given it'll likely center around how she used to be an ice skater but had to give up on it due to injury

Yukimi feels very much like an Empress character, if we don't end up having a Haru parallel in the main team. Mainly in her demeanor, but also her struggles with her mother and the Empress tarot card's connection to motherhood

Kayo feels like a good Hierophant candidate, as an older character looking after the protagonist (at least more than his parents currently seem to be), though I could also maybe see her Confidant going in an Empress direction if Yukimi isn't the Empress

Leon as the Star seems like sort of a given; it's possible they've changed it, but it does seem to fit his demeanor so far

Yui as the Hermit or maybe the Temperance? Hermit is an obvious speculation, given the Hermit in P3 is also one you connect with through an online video game, but I feel like this might get snapped up by a theoretical Futaba parallel in the story teammates. In that case, perhaps Temperance instead? I know this one's also a teacher's arcana (in P5), and I don't necessarily think Yui's really a teacher, but the arcana is associated with the merging of opposites, which could perhaps relate to Yui and whatever her real-world life is like (compared to her video game life). In the Persona series, the SMT wiki even points out that "these characters try to escape their normal lives by engaging in their hobbies", which really sounds like it could apply to Yui as well

The reasoning on this one is pretty loose, but as mentioned before, the Tower is my best guess for Riddle right now, mostly going on the fact that P5's Tower is also the only elementary schooler of the group (and, I suppose, P4's as well). We know so little about her theoretical Confidant right now, though, that it's really hard to say

Right now, given how they're introduced, I think Ikenami and Polter will both be story teammates, and I think between the two of them, Ikenami is more who I'd expect to be the Justice (has a reputation of some kind, like how Akechi was famous), and Polter seems more like a Hermit (she's kind of quiet, and doodles in her sketchbook, which are often associated with the "introverted art student" type character). It'd be super fun if they were the other way around (Ikenami as the Hermit and Polter as the Justice), though!

As for the others, for the sake of not leaving anyone out, here's my thoughts just purely on vibes + which arcana the above assignments would leave left over (Fortune, Hanged Man, Death, Devil, Sun, Judgement):

Seiji has Emperor vibes, but I don't expect them to repeat arcana, so I don't actually think he'll be the Emperor. Seiji also has Judgement vibes to me, relative to Eriko in P1 + P2, so if that arcana isn't reserved for a story role (like Sae Niijima having it in P5, or the changed group goals in P3 and P4), I could see him having it? Maybe Fortune or Hanged Man, if not

Yaoling feels Fortune-y to me, I dunno. I could also see Sun?

Sepia... maybe Hanged Man? Or... he's not goth enough, but maybe Death? Having any idea of what his Confidant's premise is (besides maybe something with fishing) would probably help me narrow down a vibe here haha

Puppet has Sun vibes to me, both in that she's a politician's daughter and Yoshida's a politician, but also something about her running away from home and trying to make it on her own and the Sun's association in this series with being in kind of a hopeless situation, but trying to make the most of it and achieve your goals anyway

If Liben, Wuhexi, and Jitianzhudai are all also teammates (story or Idol), then we sort of run out of Arcana, haha. Wuhexi seems the look the most like he could be a Death arcana, though who really knows, and I could kind of see Liben or Jitianzhudai maybe being the Devil, but I'm really going out on a limb there, and I'm not sure what that would leave the other one to be (probably one of the extra arcana- Aeon, Jester, Hunger, Faith, Councilor, Hope, or Apostle?)

YOONGI SOULMATE READING

Disclaimer~tarot is speculative and this is my interpretation of energy. Take it with a grain of salt.

Honey boi time. Strap down because this one is wild. Kinda. And soft. Really really soft. And a little creepy. Buckle in.

So for starters Yoon has a dark, royal blue color energy. It isn't as opaque as Koos was but it was very... thick? Like its not that it wasn't opaque from a lack of energy but rather that kinda had clear energy mixed in too?? It was really pretty and its kinda like the more you look at it the deeper it gets?

It was kinda like this but deeper? And it was almost reflective and "sparkly" idk put it was real pretty.

So first thing to note. Yoon is always easy for me to connect with so he didn't have any barriers put up or whatever so when I was going towards him he was in red flannel pj bottoms and I was like, "am I missing something?" But no. He was just being comfy I guess? Now usually when I connect with energy of a person there's this like eternal tree trunk rope colum thing of energy or something that I kinda follow and then there's little platforms that they're on? I always have my back facing the energy colum thing when I connect.

That was not the case this time. Yoon essentially led me to his side to face the energy trunk? And he was like, "its weird on this side, huh?" ??? Hello, sir. What the fuck. This to me hints that maybe he is also going out and consciously connecting to energies? Idk man. But I was like, "yeah, it is kinda weird" It only gets weirder.

Next I was facing yoon and I was like hey I want to read your soulmate and gave him like a big ole energy marble expecting that to kinda get the connection going but the only thing I heard from his soulmate was "I can't tell you" like shit. And then he dissolved my energy offering? Oki. And I essentially couldn't connect with his soulmate at all. Anyway, I floated off the little platform thing (that was real bizarre) and yoongi connected with me.

His soulmates energy wasn't present at all but I was told to continue any way. Now for in my opinion the creepiest part. So, keep in mind yoons is actively connected to me and I was like, "well, if your soulmate isn't here then please guide me to what deck I should use for their personality signifier and he pointed me to the fountain tarot.

I started shuffling and after I did one bridge shuffle and split it to do another one he was like, "hey, you're gonna get temperance reverse fyi" and I was like hahaha no. And he was like, "no. Listen to me. Bridge twice, hand shuffle twice and split into two. And you'll get temperance rev. Turn it ride side up when it comes out" I was like okay but you crazy. Tarot doesn't work like that

Guess what fucking came up? TEMPERANCE REVERSED when I tell you I freaked out I mean I fuckin freaked. I know it sounds made up or unbelievable and if I didn't see it happen I'd say its fake but FUCK DUDE. So i asked my pendulum if it should be reverse and it was like no, flips that shit. And I swear to God yoongi was laughing at me for being spooked like the smug ass that he is.

Now

First note I wrote was sagittarius energy. This person has sagittarius energy. Yep yep yep. This person balances him out. Temperance is the card of sagittarius. Heavy fire influence in the cart.

Oki now onto personality explained. I got 3 of coins, the heirophant, ace of wands and the magician. This person is very spiritual and has been manifesting him (they’ve manesfesting eachother but I'll get to that later?) This is a person that values knowledge and is very creative and has a lot of quick ideas. This person also really values communication of knowledge. Loves to get it loves to share it. Probably the person that can tell you a stupid fact about almost anything.

We also have networked, storyteller, god and mentor. This is someone who loves to teach people about what they've learned. They like to share the wisdom (with the god card im inclined to say that they share spiritual wisdom but I don't see it as a career?) This person values communication and collecting knowledge.

Now, on to relationship. We have wheel of fortune, justice, ace of wands and the lovers. This relationship has been in the works on a spiritual level for a long time. They’ve been actively manifesting eachother. We know Yoon is at least a little psychic so this makes sense. This relationship is founded in balance. They treat eachother as equals. I also wrote, "certainly something devine". They have a witty rapport and its so so so loving! They have really good communication and respect for eachother! They are also good at keeping eachither accountable.

Now for this person's career. They’ve been going through a change so their career is undecided. There was likely a period of depression that put a pause on their career? But there's also the queen of coins which suggests that they will be making good money. Now, I chose 3 clarity cards on the queen of coins to help me figure out where this money will be coming from and I drew three more coin cards so this means this person is on the cusp of making some good money soon!

Now we have answer the call, awakening and share your voice. They are being called to be together. Again yoon is woke af and apparently so is his soulmate. The picture i get is like when they finally meet they're both a little shy because they've been connecting with eachothers energies and they're like, "whos gonna bring it up?" Like they are finally out of hiding when they meet. Its cute as fuck.

Oki. We have answered prayers, spiritual path and make time for self care. THEY ARE MANIFESTING EACHOTHER. They are a woke pair and the energy is so sturdy and solid. I also get the sense that they engage in self care together? Like they'll make sure to take care of themselves spiritual and physical. I also think that they would be that type of couple to have a mad bath bomb collection.

Side note: while I was doing this I got like a cute little picture in my head of them sitting on the couch in pj's and facemasks with towels on their heads sipping wine and that makes me soft.

Now onto the message from his soulmate cards. So we have release all anger, new idea, be positive, take a shot, Have you eaten? You're acting like a big ass baby and shit is going down with your job. Now. I made a note that this is from Yoon to his soulmate? Um, sir? But oki, yoon makes the rules. What I get from this is that his soulmate is currently going through some job related stuff and he's saying, "hey, its okay to start over. Do that thing you've been wanting to do for a while" he wants his soulmate to stop focusing on what isn't going right and just start fresh. I also lowkey think he's like, you need to just fucking chill. The world isn't imploding just because something isn't working out. Its very reassuring and it feels like he wants to comfort them. Cute

Let's talk about the descriptors now. Yoon was very picky with these? Which confused me. They don't know eachother in person is the vibe im getting and I don't think yoon has ever seen this person either? I think maybe he's had dreams of his soulmate? Idk but the cards are: quality time, fashionable, unique, free spirit, independent, short hair, younger, sweet, charming. I also made a note for brown hair and a masculine chart.

For my little word cards we have, fate, vows, serendipity and loyalty. WE GET IT. YOURE ADORABLE TOGETHER

I tried to step inside HC's energy today. I don't have a ton of experience with this but was curious enough to try. I got a splitting headache almost instantly (which also went away immediately afterwards, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't me). I also felt a lot of bottled up rage, to the point where it scared me a bit. I never felt that he had the urge to hurt anyone, just that he wanted to scream but didn't have the energy to. And I felt pain, like the visceral sort that's caused by grief. I was expecting to feel sadness after reading your posts, but this felt different to me. I also felt that he is tired, like you did.

I also pulled some tarot cards to ask about his current situation, and without hijacking your blog with a crazy long post, I got that he is having his energy and power drained by current burdens or people in his life, that someone close to him is trying to deceive him, and that he will need to make some sort of choice to get un-stuck, so to speak. I asked what he needs to do to find his divine counterpart, and I again pulled cards about a choice. Some sort of transformation is needed to embark on a new beginning, which will be part of his healing journey. And that while on this journey, he will meet his divine counterpart who will help complete the healing process for him. The choice to embark on this journey of self-healing seemed to be a required step for them to meet.

Anyway, just thought I'd share in case you or anyone else is interested. I do believe that he needs to take responsibility for his actions, but I also have a bit more compassion for him now because he seems to feel very lost and deflated, like he knows he got off track somewhere but he doesn't know how to fix it. I was exhausted after spending less than an hour in his energy, so I can't imagine being in that state 24/7. And I'm sure living under a microscope isn't helping anything. So yes, compassion for what he’s been through/stuck in, but don’t take on that energy for him, he needs to be in it and learn from it. That’s one of the best lessons you learn from any kind of energy work, is never to take the energy for people, you can sympathise, but you also need to maintain enough distance to let them know you are not their support. They are.

Hey rose, i was wondering if you could give your insight on something? There's this thing that I've been working on but i think i should cut my losses, however everytime i make up my mind to Bail i get some sort of sign that i shouldn't, angel numbers, tarot card readings on my feed, and i know tarot card on ur feed aren't always super accurate but almost all of them have the exact same message: don't quit bc its gonna pay off soon, and well TikTok is governed by an algorithm so i was starting to think it doesn't mean anything, but one psychic pulled out a card and the words she used to explain it were said to me almost WORD FOR WORD for this project, and I've been seeing like religious verses prop up that i strongly associate w this project..its like logically i should quit for my own mental well being and bc i don't ever see this problem being solved but the universe is telling me to stick it out..and i don't know what to makw of this. I don't want to quit it, id love for it to work out but idk if i have it in me to see it thru and when i logically look at it, i feel like that's the decision I'd make if i prioritised myself but idk maybe im wrong.. I read all of it & I'm thinking a couple of things.

One is that I'm curious to know whether or not these things popped up before and if you maybe didn't notice them because they didn't apply to you. It sounds to me like you're a bit stuck between emotion and logic and that may be what's causing this. You're saying it yourself too: "logically I should quit for my mental health because I don't see this problem ever being solved, (but the universe is telling me to stick it out...) I don't want to quit, I'd love for it to work but I don't know if I have it in me."

Do you see how there's like this.. confliction in your mind? Like a juxtaposition. You don't want to quit, because you want it work out. But what I notice isn't really the fact you've been seeing signs, it's more that both your logic and emotion are based on a lack of faith in your own abilities at the moment (bold text). There is a sense of finality and a sense of hopelessness there, but you want it to work out.

And that want is very strong. It's the reason you haven't quit yet. I think it's more important than you even give it credit for, because it's stronger than your need to prioritize your mental health. So what makes this project so important to you?

I think you really desire this thing and are very attached to it, and honestly I assume you've gotten similar tarot readings on your feed before but didn't notice them because this wasn't on your mind. That want you have will latch onto every kind of affirmation it can to keep you going.

And I know most often suffering is ranked more important than projects and productivity, and that's because it's the case 9/10 times. But, if this is something that feels like it's your duty and responsibility and it's something that's really important to you—then honestly, perhaps it's worth it to keep pushing for what you'll get out of it and/or leave behind.

Alternatively, if this isn't that important of a project in the long-run, then like.. know that it's okay to give up. And whether or not you do it doesn't retract any value from you as a human being. I don't think this has much to do with astrology (tarot, angel numbers, religion, etc.), but I do often feel like these kind of divine things often get hijacked by our mind in order to confirm or appease any deeper needs or desires we have. And it's like an external faith that replaces a lack of internal faith we have in ourselves. So the faith fluctuates, because we don't have a stable foundation. And it's worth exploring where we lost that. For the record, I think both internal and external faith are equally important. But I find that if someone doesn't believe in themselves, believing in something bigger than life can comfort their worries but also creates a self-fulfilling prophecy (at least in terms of occult arts, not so much religion). They don't have a stable foundation I suppose. I've seen people fall down a black hole of spirituality because of this and it tends to somehow end up hurting them. Maybe a bit too psychological of an explanation and I'm not trying to be all psychoanalytical💀😭, but it's just my insight on it and I hope it maybe helps somewhat.

Also, be patient with yourself, even if this is why it happens. Just because you know the source of the issue doesn't mean it'll disappear overnight, and above all, it's your experience. I may very well be completely off-base👄

his first impression is wary, since he’s been told all his life that the fae aren’t always as friendly and kind as they seem, and that they cannot be held to human standards. maybe it started out as something as simple as losing a charm he uses often, only to find it a few days later in the backroom where he reads cards, a place he often visits. he had to be cautious while expressing his thankfulness, seeing as he didn’t want to unknowingly put himself in a contract with the fae. however, the first time he actually found you, looking around the shop at all of the potions and the crystals, his heart stopped. he spent days and weeks talking to you about all the stuff in his shop. “yes, i actually made the cards myself! ah, you really think so? why, thank you!” it was only a matter of time before he found himself thinking that maybe he could trust you, if none of the other fae. it was quite obvious to him that you weren’t like the others, you were not looking to make contracts and gather offers, you were interested in all the things that decorated the store. soon enough he wasn’t thinking of you as a fae he had to pick his words carefully around, you were just another person intrigued in his knowledge of spells and tarot. he even started to leave you offerings, even if you explained you didn’t need/want them. he’d put cute little shells, small flowers, pretty rocks, tiny crystals, pretty much anything that was small and reminded him of you. “yes! i saw this when i visited the market the other day, and i thought it’d look so adorable on your offering table. oh, please, just accept it! i got it just for you.” sure, he’d went against everything he was ever told about the fae, but he quickly realized he had no regrets about doing so, and he’d do it all over again if he had the choice.

nadia is the type of cautious that you’re unaware of. she’s so careful in displaying her apprehension that she does it in a way you wouldn’t notice, and, the way she sees it, anything other than such would seem rude. “milady! someone is in the palace!” a servant would alert her, tension in all points of their body, proceeding to tell her that they were spotted heading into her quarters. she advised them to calm down and sent them away, claiming she’d handle it. she headed into the baths, and, sure enough, there you were, letting your legs dangle in the water as you take in the view. her intuition had immediately told her that you were no threat. in fact, she knew exactly what you were as soon as your eyes met. “i can’t seem to recall having business with anyone in my private bath,” she smiled, watching as you stride towards her. you were definitely charming, but that was to be expected. she easily loosened her stance, with her newfound peace of mind. you grab her hand gently and place a jade necklace into it. you explain that this was merely a impromptu visit, as you were here to return the necklace that rightfully belonged to her. all the other fae were far too scared to come return the pendant once they had realized that what they’d taken belonged to the countess, so you came in their stead. needless to say, nadia began to trust you almost immediately, and she even let you clasp the necklace around her, as well. “why, thank you. i apologize for all the commotion you must have faced as you tried to come into my quarters.” you told her it was certainly no trouble at all, and that it was all worth it for this moment. “i’m glad to hear that this feeling is mutual. after all, i quite enjoy your company. shall i leave offerings for you, should you wish to return?” no matter what you tell her, it will become a daily routine to have her servants place only the finest jewelry and gems as offerings for you. even if you ask for something simple, she will insist on spoiling you. “well, i’d like for you to know that you’re welcome in my quarters at any time,” she adds, the faintest blush covering her cheeks.

he’s been quite interested in things like the fae and whatnot ever since mazelinka would mention them when he was younger, and it really sparked again when asra would sometimes make a passing comment about them when they used to work together. but the poor thing is oblivious, so when his pens and notebooks start to disappear and show up again, only a few days later, at a place he frequently went to, he figured it was just himself simply misplacing his belongings and forgetting where he put them. it was nothing too worrying. well, not until he seen somebody with an incredible energy surrounding them in his office, about to place one of his medical notebooks in his drawer. “who are you? how did you get in here?” but it didn’t take long for the dots to connect in his mind - in fact, it was almost like the moment he seen your eyes, he knew what you were. but, he still had to be careful; that much he knew. you held up the notebook, lightly waving it around in answer. he let out a quiet ‘oh’ and simply took a seat, waiting with his hands outstretched for the book. you pull it back and watch all the blood rush to his face, patiently waiting for you to give it to him and hoping that you don’t open it. all hope was quickly lost, though. you open it in search for one specific page, and once you find it, you show it to him with a proud, mischievous grin. it was a drawing of a fairy, albeit not correct at all, with plenty of notes and scribbles. there was a lot of care on this page, especially, you noticed. “h-hey! i know what you’re trying to imply, but!... i’ll have you know that is... a medical... diagram...” each word got quieter and quieter, and eventually, he gave up on the explanation. you simply giggled and placed the book back in his hands, done with the teasing. “how am i supposed to make a diagram if i didn’t know what a fairy looked like until now?” he huffs, a blush spreading over his cheeks to the tips of his ears. you grin, leaning back against the wall as you seat yourself on his desk and offer to help him with his diagram. and, well, it ended up looking more like you than a general fae. hey! it was the betterment of science and medicine... and it also didn’t hurt to have you keep coming in for health check-ups.

he first found a fairy ring in the forest, not too far from his hut, but he knew far better than to step foot inside of it. however, just because he knew better, didn’t mean he couldn’t accidentally stumble into it... hey, don’t look like that! it wasn’t his fault! he didn’t mean to! he just had a misstep! what he didn’t expect - never in a million years, in fact - was to come home one day (from trying to set protections against the fae, ironically) and find a fae in his hut. even when inanna tried to walk forward to greet this being (which, she never did, by the way), he was cautious. “why are you in my hut,” he would ask, doing anything and everything he could to avoid your eyes. you’d explain to him that you come to try and help him set protections against the other fae, since you knew how they could be and how to properly do so. a whole evening later, spent putting up the protections and complimenting his handiwork around the hut just to see how adorably flustered he’d get. then he realized it’d be a real shame if he had just put up a protection against you, especially with your help, but how could he say that in a way that wasn’t weird? “..........hey, um......... does this keep you out, too?..........” his eyes quickly widened. “not that i want to keep you out!.....” he huffed, getting all flushed again, and you smiled. you explained that if he wanted, he could set up a small offering table for you. you wouldn’t ask for much, and you didn’t want to trouble him. you just didn’t want this to be the last time your paths crossed. and then began a tradition! each day he’d place a small flower or blade of grass he found on a table inside the den of the hut, and when you came around, you’d sometimes help him place protections or even weave flower crowns with him. sure, he acted like he absolutely hated it, and he’d cringe when you placed the forget-me-nots on his head, but he’d always get flushed and turn his head to hide the smile that threatened to creep up on his lips. you even made inanna one to match with muriel!

she definitely had no prior knowledge about the fae. she thought they were just made up, but she was familiar with the little fairy houses some people put in their gardens, and she thought that was just so cute! even pepi might enjoy it, so, when she made one, she thought nothing of it. but as soon as she found a fae, a real one, she was caught waaay off guard. because she didn’t know anything other than the made up bits, she will definitely ask a lot of questions. “so, can you really fly around? do you carry little pouches of fairy dust around with you? ooh! can you put some on my garden?” you explain to her, telling her what is myth and what is fact. while you’re at it, you cautiously (and politely) warn her of the dangers of attracting forces you don’t know a lot about, and she takes the information to heart. “i swear on pepi i’ll never do something so silly again!” she beams at you when you do offer to help her with her garden, and you even make it a bit of a routine. you playfully take turns pushing flowers in each other’s hair until it seems there are more flowers than hair. she takes great care of the fairy house from this point on, decorating it with little rocks and plants in case you ever want to stay there. if you ever tell her, though, that it might be better if she takes it down so none of the other fae can take advantage of her kindness, she will listen to you and take it down as soon as possible. she greatly enjoys your company and soon enough, you spend many mornings drinking tea together in the cottage while the both of you cuddle and pet pepi.

“what do you MEAN my exotic golden spoons and forks are gone?! i had them RIGHT HERE!!!” he notices that his priceless belongings keep going missing and he blames it on the servants at first, only to find them a few days later. still doesn’t stop him from damning everyone and everything he comes into contact, though. “where is my EYELINER?!” he shrieks, only to find an ethereal looking being in his quarters, placing his stolen goods back on his dresser. they look back and smile, quickly apologizing for their friends who seem to get a kick out of taking his belongings (but, like, who doesn’t?). the absolute charm and the energy this being carries has him literally swooning, bending over backwards to insist it was no trouble at all. “oh don’t worry!!! when you’re this charming you can get away with sneaking into my room anyday.” he takes great interest in the fact that there is what is known as a ‘fae’ in his room, a term he’s only heard a handful of times in stories growing up, as he’s roamed here and there. expect many questions coming your way. “do you have wings?! can you make yourself small? like, the size of my pinky?!” he’d definitely start to leave offerings of lots of gold and expensive things, even if you asked for something simple, but he’d always make note that it was for you only. he’s definitely angered the other fae by now, though. you better prepare him for many misfortunes.

...a month late... A birthday year ahead reading for Kim Taehyung... Featuring a startling revelation?! ... Sir Taehyung???

Sometimes you do a reading and something arises that you didn't even ask for and never expected... But we'll get to that.

In terms of advice for this year for Tae, with the reversed ace of cups and reversed 4 of earth (pentacles) coming as significators of this reading, there's a real message of needing to unblock and release certain energies, situations, attitudes... Imagine a clod of earth blocking a water pipe and the pressure is building up behind it. Eventually something has to give, and it should be that clod of earth... Not the pipe.

Reversals for me generally indicate blockages in areas of a person's life. With an ace of cups in reverse and a four of pentacles in reverse, I'm feeling a blockage in emotional connection or at least in being able to express one's emotions with ease... Which maybe leads to compensating with shows of material wealth... Over spending... Overgenerosity... This is interesting because I think Tae seems to express his feelings and affection for his friends and family pretty well... At least from what we see... But these cards are indicating to me that he struggles a lot with this actually and that he tends to bottle things up until he explodes (like my blocked pipe analogy) or tries to express feelings through ostentatious gifts or compensates for not expressing his emotions healthily by overspending... Essentially the advice is to unblock these energies... To learn earn to release and express his emotions in a healthy way.

Going into the more specific advice cards for the year ahead, we're starting off on an extremely positive note with The Star and the reversed 3 of water (cups). I see with this that there's real potential this year for Tae to fulfill a dream or desire. Something he wants for himself. A personal goal or project that he works on alone. With the 6 of wands and King of Earth (pentacles) we can see that pursuing this will bring him a lot of praise and success as well as greater wealth and stability. This could be anything from a solo music project, to another acting job... I'm not sure exactly what it is other than it's a real wish he has and wants to do it for himself. The advice here is simple; go for it, it will be successful.

At the centre of this reading we have the reversed Sun and the 2 of water (cups). Even reversed, the Sun is still such a positive card... It's just the energy is blocked, delayed... What I'm getting from this is that there is actually a love connection manifesting for Tae in the future which will bring him a lot of happiness... But for now he's going to need to be patient because the timing isn't right. It's coming... Just not quite yet... Though not in the too distant future... Maybe even next year?... It depends on what happens between then and now of course... But i do see happiness in a relationship ... It's just the energy is blocked so it won't manifest for a bit. If he can learn to open himself up and express his emotions this will help bring any desires he has for love into fruition...

For now though he has to work on himself. With the High Priestess and Strength here I'm seeing, and feeling, a powerful development of spirituality... Honestly it was visceral. Certainly there's some deepening and strengthening of spiritual beliefs going on here. His faith in his intuition, in the advice coming from his spiritual guides, will become stronger. As he listens to his guides and gets confirmation over and over his faith is continuously going to deepen, as is his wisdom and understanding of the world.

The last two tarot cards of advice for the year ahead are the 2 of wands and reversed 7 of water (cups). What I see here is the advice to not be afraid to consider his options and step outside the box. He has so many talents and so many opportunities to use his skills and gifts... He's being advised to look at them all... Give them all some thought... And not feel like he has to stick to one certain thing or path when he has so many roads he can walk before him.

Now, for the oracle cards, I got first Winter Solstice: Reflection. Honestly this card made me start humming Singularity, which was interesting (the lyrics make so much sense in this case) ... I feel again a sense of needing to release something. In this case, I get the message of needing to reflect on the past, on all things that have happened, good and bad, lessons learnt and how much he's grown up and matured... And release that which is holding him back from moving forward. The negative emotions and fears which keep him bottling up his feelings and being so wary of opening up to others... This is an interesting one of course because Tae is in a position where there is a legit rational argument for why he should be guarded and wary of new people... But at the same time, you can be sensible without locking your heart away entirely and living with a lot of fear and worry about your connections with others isn't healthy... There has to be balance. Basically... I think this card is telling him to reflect on himself and realise how far he's come and how much stronger and wiser he is now... He can trust himself and his intuition.

Okay... And now this is the card that gave me chills in this reading... This deck is called 'Angels and Ancestors' and I thought it was a particularly good deck to use for Tae because... Idk if I've mentioned it before but, wow, he has such strong ancestral energy surrounding him. His family probably don't play with paying respect to the ancestors because there's really such a strong link there...

Anyway, for his advice for this year I got the Knight card which says 'Be brave and honest'. However, more than just a message of advice for the year I got two distinct impressions that literally gave me chills and goosebumps... First that one of the main ancestors or spirit guides that's looking out for Tae right now was a Knight... Or the Korean equivalent thereof... A noble warrior with a sworn sacred code of morality... And second, that Tae himself, in a past life, was a Knight... (?! When I tell you i was shook!)... Not only that, but, and I kid you not, I heard French in a man's voice (I don't even speak French!!!) saying something like "Mon coeur... Lion..."?... I couldn't understand or make it all out but I recognised those words so they stuck with me. As did the impression that they were part of some kind of personal motto or vow... My heart like a lion...? Honestly I was just stunned at that point... I wasn't expecting to be told anything like this and if there is one thing here I'd like to tell Tae most it's this... This was a lot and unexpected and also... Really quite personal... So I didn't want to pry into it or ask more... I can only say, in terms of advice, I feel like knowing this and coming into that noble warrior, brave, chivalrous energy would bring him a lot of strength and comfort.

Finally... After that surprise... The angel oracle card for his year ahead was Fiona. This card says: Now that you've asked the angels for help, be open to receiving divine guidance and assistance. You deserve heaven's help!

This definitely resonates with the message of his developing spiritual beliefs and opening up to his guides and i think he's definitely already on the right path in this regard. Once he's open to listening to his guides, his angels, his ancestors... They'll lead him to wherever he needs to go and protect him from harm.

The numerology of this reading comes to 11; a number in numerology which speaks to high vibrational spirituality and receiving guidance from angels and spirit guides. Once again I'm struck by the message that this is a year of spiritual exploration for Tae.

I think this has the potential to be an amazing year of success for Tae, both materially in terms of his career and spiritually as he develops his intuitive gifts and strengthens his connection to his guides. This is my first year practicing and it's been interesting. I have got to meet so many people through the witch community. I got super excited when I saw that Witchy Wishlists were a thing because I love spreading holiday cheer! And I'm gonna do my best to help out other people with their lists too, hopefully depression doesn't get in my way too much.

I have a small list, kinda, and a lot has to do with shipping. I'm from the USA, so people know.

Anything on my list can be handy downs, and honestly I'd prefer that.

- Herbs and spices [any and all are welcomed! I get all my supplies at my local grocery store, so the selection isn't too "witch friendly" I suppose. But if you have a herb garden and are will to share some of your dry herbs, I'd love some!]

- Spells and books [I want to start collecting more spells so I can practice them or try different methods. These don't have to be fancy either! A Tumblr spell that I can reblog would honestly be the bee's knees. As for books, both witch-centered or anything is welcomed. I'm always looking for new books to read! So if you have a favorite you love or an extra copy of a novel lying around, send it my way! My best friend and I would love to get our hands on them and read them!]

- Crystals [Any will do, but I already have a lot of amethyst, so maybe no more (• ▽ •;) ]

- Friends and mentors [Always looking for a witchy friend to chit chat with about magic and things! And for mentors, just someone willing to answer my questions when I have them is fine. Sometimes I don't know where to start when I have a question, so I need a push in the right direction]

- Seeds for planting or gardening supplies [I want to garden!! I just, don't have anything to do it. So if you have old gardening supplies or even some extra seeds for plant correspondences, I'd love them!]

- Proper tarot cards [I have a small sized deck and it's not really anything I connect with, mostly because it was something lying around the house that my best friend gave me. I have one book explaining tarot and what the cards mean, but if there's a deck that comes with it, I'd love that too. I just want to get back into tarot reading]

Itto comes off as someone with a strong sense of ideals and beliefs that he abides by, just like you. From what I know and understand, I think you two have similar or overlapping ideals which would help you two to get along. He’d even adore you so much because of your beliefs and sticking to them. Of course, there’s a possibility of you two clashing due to this, but I know you two can sensibly come to a solution to solve it (or at least you can ;>)

To elaborate on the point above, let’s start with you disliking people resigning to how reality is. Itto isn’t someone who just lets things be and he does his part to change things too. Maybe even for yourself, there are days you’re tired of fighting reality. He’ll be there to make sure you get the sufficient rest you need and be there to make sure you get back up and face this cruel reality! All with your hand in his and him walking by your side. Bonus big toothy smile with crinkled eyes as his additional reassurance.

Itto might not be actively interested in your hobby, but I feel like he’d look over your shoulder a lot to see what you’re doing. Craning his neck behind you without getting too close to you as he doesn’t want to disturb you. But when he sees something that piques his interest, he’ll probably straight up put his hand on your shoulder (as support) and lean into whatever you’re doing from behind you.

I think he’d often try to peek into the journal with words you don’t know. Maybe he’ll try to use that big word you just wrote in to try to impress you. Itto thinks intelligence is going to make you fall for him more. He always uses the word wrongly and you’d have to correct him too. 

I can see anime music being the type of music that Itto enjoys. Two of you will probably play them out on a loudspeaker when you guys are alone. Itto will probably sing along out loud (even if he goes off tone sometimes or when he’s not even too familiar with the lyrics). He’ll pretend he’s in a concert and get up, being super expressive with his moves. Every once in a while when his skin is thick as hell (as if it already isn’t though), he’ll pretend you’re his audience and wink at you or outstretch his hand towards you as an invitation to join him.

Itto will ask you about his astrological sign and make you read tarot cards a lot for him. When you read them and you tell him of an unfavourable possible outcome, he’ll scoff and say it’s all “baloney”. In the case whatever you predict happens, he comes back and says “I guess they have a little credibility…” 

If the opposite happens, he’ll cheer and be super grateful to you. If it ends up unfavourable though, he’ll come to you and demand compensation (which ends up in cuddles and hugs). Smh Itto. 

Whenever you’re feeling down, Itto is the kind of guy to do whatever it takes to cheer you up and even go out of his way to do it. Who knows if he’ll climb atop the building across and start singing your favourite anime song aloud.

Beetle-fighting with Itto? Just know that when he loses and says “I went easy on you because I love you”, he didn’t. You just got a better beetle <3. At times, you’re the one who goes easy on him and he doesn’t even realise it. Gives you a big teddy bear hug whenever he wins.

In other news

I guess the guy we're living with yelled at my partner while I was out of the house. I obviously have no way of knowing what happened after a handful of agitated messages were sent to us, but I guess something was said about not minding doing our dishes, several times, and he's angry that my partner "never" does the dishes or cooks. Fucking excuse me, whether my partner cooks or does dishes is my fucking business tyvfm.

I guess overall, the guy we live with thinks my partner does nothing besides sit on his computer or phone all day. He does, but again, my business fuck you. But also, my partner is the reason our food stamps and health insurance cases got transferred from Oregon, and he's the reason we have new cases in New Mexico. My partner also does all kinds of research that a) I wouldn't even think to do and b) I would never actually get the answers I'm looking for. It does piss me off that my partner spends at least twelve hours a day playing stupid card games on his phone, but it's hard to hold a solid platform when accusing him of doing nothing. Sometimes he even runs errands unasked. He comes to have lunch with me at work. He does the laundry (upon request, but hey, he also does the dishes upon request).

It definitely pisses me off that it appears our landlord/housemate won't take my partner's word for it that I'm not entirely comfortable being here, let alone being in a car with such an utterly unpredictable party. I'm not worried about this guy like, crashing or doing something crazy. It's more that cars are generally a safe place, a safe retreat for me, and I don't want to spoil that for myself as I sharpen my driving skills.

Plus, I don't think any guy wants to hear from anyone, let alone a second party, that he's making a woman uncomfortable. To say the least....

Anyway, I have a magician tarot card that I'm not supposed to be working on in this guy's house and I only have today off.

I honestly don't want to know if/when I'm pregnant until I'm showing because without being able to get to the MVD, I don't know how the fuck we're supposed to get out of this place and find something better. Of course I have my suspicions, and the next couple weeks might be revealing on their own. Or not. I don't fucking know.

I also kinda don't want to take my partner or let him know (although I'd guess he'd be intelligent enough to pick up that I have regular appointments). Although, I'm pretty excited. I saw some really cool embroidered ultrasounds and I think a cross-stitched ultrasound would be pretty cool. Just like, a nice modest, maybe 10×10in at the most. I could probably do a reasonable 6×6 in linen.

But least of all do I want to have a child in such a frankly unpredictable environment. This guy comes out of fucking nowhere and thinks it's okay to yell and say stuff that he can't follow up on and elucidate. Personally, I can't even. Least of all will I force myself to handle it when I'm trying to handle raising my child.

It pisses me off that this asshole wouldn't let my partner speak on my behalf, in my a absence. As if we don't communicate at length. My partner is usually even more clear on what I want than I am. Although I can definitely admit, I'm still not in tune enough with my own feelings, I don't know or believe what my partner refers to as panic attacks are actually panic attacks. Sometimes, he says that I get really angry or upset when that's not necessarily what's going on inside my head.

Most of the time, he's more astute than I am, which makes it hard to entirely trust that he's wrong. Maybe it's just hard to have to be told what I'm feeling. Maybe I find it offensive that anyone would tell me what I'm feeling when I don't want to be told. Maybe because then, I have to deal with it?

Anyway, least of all does it bother me when he speaks on my behalf in my absence. But also, yes, when necessary, I can speak for myself. But I don't want to speak for myself, out of nowhere, against a guy who decides whether or not I have a bed to sleep in and a roof over my head. If I had a place lined up tomorrow, I'd probably tell him straight to his face, I don't trust him, his behavior comes off to me as erratic and almost controlling. I don't really want to be in a small, enclosed space with him because I don't trust him.

I had kind of a funny awakening yesterday:

BDSM principals are stuff like, the dom doesn't take the power, they are entrusted with it by the sub. Doms don't just power-trip choose for the sub; choices are made because a good dom understands their sub. I never would have imagined such a thing was a realistic goal before this relationship, but this relationship is a huge dance of communication and negotiation.

It would absolutely be toxic if my partner just spoke on my behalf with zero regard for my actual goals and desires. I've had people speak up for me, usually because I'm taking too long to gather my thoughts and they don't want to wait for me to do that, and they're usually wrong somehow and they don't care that they're wrong.

I give the permission to my partner because we've spent so much time together communicating and negotiating. My partner is merely wrong by semantics, if he relates my desires incorrectly at all. Maybe he says I would like help with a project and maybe I actually can't proceed on the project at all without help, and he doesn't fully appreciate how important the project is to me. But let's be real, I probably haven't conveyed the importance of the project and it comes off that the project is for fun, rather than how serious it is to me. Stuff like that.

It's weird to feel like I'm being paid no attention at all, and simultaneously realize that I'm being examined slice by slice.

It's weird to be able to discuss all the things that could be toxic in our relationship if left unchecked, and to have someone to push me and be pushed by me to be better and do better. To look the toxic behaviors right in the eye and tell them they will not hold power over this relationship.
