Days are now long and slow yet tiring and tedious. Fog blankets the surroundings almost completely.
And the moon is always visible in the sky, even in the mornings.
Hoping for a little warmer weather ☁️

Take care of yourselves, even during the exam season
Yep, you read that right!
You do need to love yourself, take care of yourself and listen to your needs and wants, even during the exam season.
Time is tight. Tension is high. Anxiety is hitting the body with ferocity.
With all this going on you are just trying to hold on and make it one day at a time.
You are pushing your body to its limit. Forcing your brain to mug up all the information. Coffee after coffee, you are trying to stay awake all night.
But then you crash. After a few days, and nights, of crammed up schedule and ramen enforced studies, there it is. The day where you can't gather the energy to get out of your bed. You can't get your eyelids to open and you certainly can't remove your blanket out of the way.
You slump and sleep all day long. And then the night comes, the guilt hits you hard. A whole day wasted!
You have a headache. You are hungry. You are frustrated and a lot more angry. At yourself. At the exams. At everything.
You think what happened! Why can't you get out of the bed. Why can't you study, even when you want to.
It is because
U summed up all your energy and forced yourself to work well beyond your limits.
You forgot to take care of your mind and body.
You asked so much out of you, that now there's no energy left to perform even a minimal task.
Do Not Get Here!
Where u r feeling guilty, low and sad; because your body and mind can't perform at the level you expect it to.
Man, love yourself during this time.
Don't you comfort and give extra love to your friend who's going through a tough time? You are going through that time during exam season, so love yourself harder these days.
Make a calming tea. I prefer chamomile tea or berries cold tea.
Listen to your body. These days, I have a sore throat, so I make myself ginger lemon honey tea. It works wonders. You can try for yourself.
Dedicate some time to do what you love everyday. It doesn't have to be something big, even the small things matter, like painting, sketching, or having coffee or your favourite food.
Go on a walk. You are sitting all day long. Your body is cramped in a library, cafe or your dorm. Get yourself the much needed fresh air.
Candles are magic. You can light a candle, of your liking, and enjoy the smell while you study.
Dress for yourself. Just because you will be in your room or library, studying the whole day, doesn't mean you have to be in depressing grey bottoms and equally depressing college t-shirts. Dress, so that when you look at yourself in the mirror, before leaving to study, you can smile at yourself.
Keep foodies goodies with you and not just the junk stuff. Keep some nuts, some dark chocolates or you can even cut some fruits. That way you will enjoy the variety of it and keep the studying interesting.
Drink Water. Yes, it is important. Being hydrated keeps half the problems away.
Talk to your friends or family members, who are always there, encouraging you all the time. Believe me, it helps a lot, knowing there is always someone for you.
Avoid toxic, negative or competitive people who just burden your mind with their trash.
And lastly, Meditate or do something that is calming, even reading, just not the syllabus stuff🙈

I'm doing it. You can do it too!
Take care of yourself. Love yourself.

Days are getting colder. The vibe is turning gloomy. The air is making me sleepy.
And this wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have your final University Exam in a month.
So now you have a truckload of syllabus to cover in a constricted time frame and you are sleeping all day cause your eyelids get heavy.
The challenge isn't getting things done, but to get it done as perfectly as you want and box it all in a small time.
The challenge isn't even planning, but it's somehow knowing to settle the random things thrown at you out of nowhere.
The challenge is to not let those things suffocate, demotivate or derail you from your get-this-done mindset.
But you know what's more important than that,
It is to believe that
You Can Do It. I Can Do It!
Repeat this mantra in your head whenever you are in doubt, feeling unsure.
Focus and get it done.
And if you get panicked, don't worry, most of us have been there. Insecure in our minds, worried about our syllabus and worried about our future.
But girl ( and I'm including male gender in this too, like how we use Bro) you are going to get it done. Know how I can say this with so much confidence, cause I got it done.
I got it done when I wasn't panicking so much that I couldn't sleep at night, I would be awake at four in the morning wondering "why I can't get myself out of this crippling position." I would be shivering in fear with my mind paralyzed with all the worse consequences, like
I'm going to fail this year
I'm going to let down my parents
I'm wasting their time, energy and money
It's easier to die than to face this
But girl, all of this is not true. It's your brain messing with your entity, creating hypothetical and untrue situations.
I was facing all of this when I had kept up with my studies all year. Still I was panicking!
I gathered all my strength, from every part of my heart and bone, and I bundled in the centre and let this strength protect me from all my insecurities and fears.
And what happened,
I was amongst the top students of my batch.
So I know, this fear you are feeling in your bones which is trying to paralyze your mind is not strong to stand against your strength.
Girls, make a first, put it on your sternum with a thud and steel ur mind, cause you are going to get it done.
Make a list of your syllabus,on paper or digitally
Then make a list of all the important questions you got from your teachers or you picked up from previous year question papers.
Get the main book you are referring to for this particular subject.
Now divide the important questions under a few Main Headings
Count the days you have to get done with the syllabus.
So, you have all the information you need. Divide the number of days with the number of Main topics and Viola! You have a plan now
You know how many topics or Main Headings you need to cover in a day.
Bonus Tip, Get your Weekly planner printed out for the exams days and paste it beside your study area.
In this table you write up your distributed topics. So whatever you have to do, whatever your day is made up of, you have it at a glance.
You can rearrange your topics according to your benefits. For me, I bunch my small topics together. Get more small topics done in a few days so I have more time to understand and learn the larger and more important topics.
Plus, I keep the more marks carrying or difficult topics for the last few days. This helps me retain the information more clearly and on the top of my mind.
This is you planning for yourselves. So don't worry about handwriting, cause I know, we Asians tend to criticize ourselves for even the smallest things.
I like to add the extra curricular activities I took part in to take care of my mind or to refresh it. It helps to not feel bound by the syllabus. I can see that I did something purely for selfish reasons and that's okay!

There are no rules and no boundaries on how to take care of yourselves mentally.
Exam season is a stressful time, provoking anxiety and panic. But you are strong too. You are going to study and take care of yourselves. You are going to prove yourselves that you can definitely do it.
And whenever you feel like, the water is going aboveboard and you can't handle it alone, get help. Cause you are not alone! You have people who love you and would love to help you. Talk your heart out. Work on yourselves.
Know you are not alone in this struggle. When we want great things for ourselves, we strive to earn it and that's worth all the pain and sacrifices. One day we will emerge on the opposite side of the shore, where we wanted to, and we will be grateful to our own selves, for all the hardwork and savings.
Guys,
Just Get It Done!

"Drugs can make you feel high, but it’s temporary.” I wipe the corner of Kir’s mouth. “Love can be temporary, too, but it has an everlasting effect. Sometimes, it becomes hard to breathe or think or even be without it.”
Black Knight
~by Rina Kent
Love.
A feeling of complex description yet nothing in particular. Sometimes an oasis, intangible but a miracle. Makes you weak at knees but strong on the back. Gives you strength unparalleled to anything. The stupid seems brave and unimaginable suddenly seems possible. Boundaries are broken and souls are healed.
That bone searing love.
Let yourself feel it!
