Jet hates his face. He can't stand to look at it. He always looks away from mirrors when he's in the bathroom or ignores his reflection completely whenever he walks past water.

He doesn't believe he's ugly, no far from it. Jet knows he's not from the way girls smile shyly whenever he talks to them. The way they giggle with flustered faces whenever they're in his presence. Smellerbee always rolls her eyes whenever he indulges a little in flirting with girls whenever they pass in a town.

No, Jet hates his face because he looks just like his mother.

His beautiful, caring mother. The one that would always kiss him goodnight after telling him stories of spirits or star-crossed lovers. She was a hopeless romantic jet remembers that. His mother who would coddle him and rock her in his lap after he came home crying, another one of the village boys picking on him for how small he was. Jet used to be quite scrawny and weak if his freedom fighters could believe that.

His mother, the one that protected him from the seething hot flames the best she could the day the fire nation came to their village. while his father did his best to hold the soldiers off. And when he failed to do so, held jet tight to her as she told him to run as far as he could and to never look back. Even promising him she'd be right behind him.

He didn't keep the promise of not looking back as Jet heard the wailing screams of his mother dying. Tears blurring his view of her as the last thing he saw of her was her eyes. Only to see her killer on a Komodo Rhino in front of him with a hatred he'd never seen before.

So now jet covers mirrors. And if he can't do that, he breaks them. Letting the glass shatter as his fist covers in blood. Not only does jet hate that he looks like his mother, but he has the same hatred in his eyes as her killer. Hatred for the fire nation and what it did to him, to his own people and others.

And the thought of the only reminisce jet has left of his mother being tarnished by seeing her face with hatred in her eyes, would kill him sooner than what was to become of him in ba sing se.

A/n: I love this show sm, I swear if Netflix is queer baiting us which they probably are I'm emailing them a strongly worded complaint. Also some scenes in this fic obviously don't line up to the episode

Wednesday opened the door to reveal Tyler at her dorm. He held Flowers with a bright smile "I got the note you sent me" what note? "honestly it shocked me how endearing and sweet it was" "yes. It shocked me to. One moment please" she closed the door and glared at Thing "How could you make him think I could write something endearing and....sweet" she looked through her closet. Maybe I could try faking my death, it's not like it's something I haven't done before. Thing snapped his fingers to get Wednesdays attention. She turned to the black dress from the antique store "how'd you afford that?" Thing sighed to her in response. "Hm"

Her roommate Wednesday walking down the stairs, looking more beautiful then she'd ever realize. Enid thought Wednesday was quite attractive when they first meet but now seeing her here confirmed something Enid was contemplating since the two girls first meet:

Enid looked around for her date. He'd left just mere seconds ago! Where'd he gone? She heard whispers and awes of someone who had just entered the ball. She'd looked to see-

Enid took interest in Wednesday. She didn't know how she hadn't realized it before. Then again the way she felt with Wednesday was different from her other romantic interest. Ajax was attractive yes, but he didn't have that dark allure that Her roommate had. This attraction was stronger but hidden in the back of Enids mind. Like when the two were up on the balcony she had felt a certain way. Back then she thought the attraction was what all girls felt.

Sadly that awe came to an end when she noticed Tyler accompanying her. What the hell was he doing here? She thought Wednesday was stubborn on not having a relationship, she'd mention it to Enid one time how she loathed even the slight possibility of her having a partner so why was HE here with her? Enid realized she was getting frustrated and tried calming herself down. She walked over to them with a bright smile "Wednesday! I never thought you'd be here. What was the change of heart?"

"Believe me I didn't come here by will, if I did it would be a sign I've truly gone insane. Though I'm not surprised you're here" Wednesday eyed her in suspicion "I thought that gorgen dumped you. Who's your date? Or are you alone? Now that'd be the real surprise" Enid felt slightly hurt at Wednesday implying she'd gone to the dance alone. But brushed it off "oh he's around here somewhere"

Enid looked desperately In the crowd to find him, though a part of her hoped she didn't. Wednesday raised an eyebrow "is he invisible? How inconvenient, be harder to kill him if he breaks your heart" Enids felt attracted at the thought of Wednesday killing someone over her, even as morbid as it was. "Oh no no! He just went somewhere... probably taking a bathroom break" Wednesday replied with a "hm" and went to find Tyler. Enid walked to the punch bowl and drank 3 cups of punch. Hating the thought of Wednesday being with that normie. She watched as she saw Wednesday bumping into Xavier. After awhile she walked out to the sitting room.

"Xavier told me what you did" Tyler looked to Wednesday sitting next to him. He sighed "look Wednesday I wish I could lie my way out of this and tell you a reason why I did but to be honest, I can't. I don't know why I did it but after I realized how awful it was I felt terrible"

"Do you really think I'd stopped liking you for a lousy prank? The way Xavier told me about I would've done worse" Tyler smiled. "I knew I liked you for a reason" Oh. We're the feelings mutual? Wednesday didn't know. She thought over it. She somewhat tolerated his presence around her, and did he make a damn good cup of coffee, but Did she like Tyler? In that way? People confused her. How should she put it to him.

"I don't believe the feelings mutual" Wednesday deadpanned. Tyler turned towards her "huh?"

"Not in that way, I don't find interest in you in a romantic Sense but I do somewhat tolerate your presence" Tyler translated what she said to himself then repeated it back to her "so you're saying you don't want to date me but you more see me as a friend? Did I hit the mark?"

"Not exactly. I don't have friends but enemies and people I've decided not to poison in Thier sleep. Also I have a confession to make" Tyler snorted "And what's that?"

"I didn't write that note to you. Thing did, he was forcing me to socialize and thought you'd be the perfect date. He was sorely mistaken"

"Yeah I had a feeling someone else wrote it. Too sweet to be written from you. You'd rather be caught dead then doing that"

"Agreed" a pause. "So who is it?" Wednesday was confused though her face didn't show it "who's what?"

"The person you're interested in instead of me?"

"Do I really have to be romanticly interested in someone else if I'm not with you? Like I told myself in the beginning of my time here; I will not become my mother and find my "one true love" why is it a need for girls to find a romantic partner?" Tyler quickly defend himself "sorry that's not what I meant, you're right I shouldn't assume" The silence thickened between the two. "Though I'm might be contradicting myself, there might be ..... someone"

"Who?"

"Not telling you, but I do have some business to take care of with this person" Wednesday stood up ready to walk back into the ball. "Is it-" Tyler was going to ask if it was a certain boy but she interrupted him "it's not Xavier if that's what you're thinking" she walked out of the sitting room into the flashing light filled dance.

Enid accepted that her date completely dipped on her and wasn't coming back. She sighed, frustrated at the predicament. She watched as the rest of the school danced with each other as she sat at one of the tables. Enid took a sip of her drink.

"Enid" she nearly choked as the girl in black appeared out of nowhere. Putting her drink down Enid stood with Wednesday "Jesus Wednesday! You have a nact for appearing from nowhere"

"It's a hobby" Wednesday deadpanned. "I have something to tell you" "what? You killed your date already?" Enid joked.

"Don't change the subject" something told Enid this was serious and not Wednesdays usual morbid sarcasm. Enid leaned closer "so what is it?"

"I don't know what you did but you've done something. Maybe it's some form of dark arts you've casted on me"

"Huh?" Wednesday furrowed her eyebrows in irritation. "I'm trying to tell you I tolerate you a lot more than everyone else. It's probably because I've spent so much time in that dorm with you I've formed Stockholm syndrome" Enid realized what Wednesday was trying to say and smiled. "Wednesday are you trying to say you like me?"

The girl in black avoided her question and said instead "will you have this dance with me" Enid squealed and threw her self on Wednesday "oh yes! Yes I will!" Wednesday tensed up at the physical touch. "Sorry forgot you're not a hugger" Enid tried pulling away but Wednesday slowly (and awkwardly) wrapped her arms around Enid. Holy shit. Wednesday was hugging Enid. It somewhat surprised dark haired girl herself. Wednesday promised she wouldn't end up like her mother and fall for someone. Damn her mother for being right.

How you 2 met is that you both were neighbors

He always saw you outside on the sidewalk on your skateboard if you don't skate just pretend you do lol

thought you were pretty cool but didn't say anything cus teenagers scared him same Griffin same

one day his bike broke and his mom was at work so he decided to ask you for help

you both knew of each other before, you'd sometimes help his mom with her errands. But y'all barely spoke to each other besides the hellos sometimes

Knocked at your door and just stood there like "🕴️"

He's an awkward kid alright?

After telling you what he needed you dragged the bike into your garage and fixed it

He sat on one of the plastic bins and talked with you while you tried fixing it

Asked a shit load of questions 💀

after that interaction y'all become a little closer

your nicknames for him are kid and little man

if you have a job you always save a little for Griffin so you can buy him snacks whenever y'all go to the store

after school he'll come by your house and y'all just talk while you fix your board in the garage or doing skating around the sidewalk

that or you play video games that you have (they had small gaming consoles in the 70s like Atari & telegames)

he's kinda a sore loser tho 💀

he'll complain about losing for the 3rd time in a row while you laugh your ass off. He punches you in the arm for it

you try to teach how to actually get good at it

since y'all are basically brothers you also play fight/argue

you'll smack him on the back of the neck sometimes (not hard enough that it actually hurts it just startles him lol) and he'll punch you in the arm, causing you to give him a noogie (if you don't know what that is it's when someone playfully wrap your arm around someone and mess up Thier hair)

of course since you're older then him you always make sure you don't seriously hurt him

when he does get seriously injured tho from scraping his knee from riding his bike or just playing outside you always patch him up

you always have first aid with you cus you get scrapes from skating yourself, so when Griffin gets scratched up sometimes you already have it ready

Griffins mom absolutely adores you and how you're like an older brother for her son. She knows he doesn't have alot of friends so you being one of his makes her really happy

whenever y'all go to the grab n go you always steer Griffin away from Vance

you actually took an ass beating from Vance for Griffin after some dick from his school tripped him and he slammed into the pinball machine

• I mean Vance wouldn't have beat Griffins ass anyways cus he's a little kid but no one knew that

afterwards you both sat on the curb while you held a cold soda to your now black eye

"Can't believe you let that guy beat you over some stupid game 😒"

"Griffin shut the fuck up-"

now if you're friends with Vance ignore the above lol

when Griffin slammed into the machine Vance almost cussed him out but you quickly grabbed the kid as you tried to explain to Vance

"Yo Vance chill he's with me man. Griffin say hi"

he just responded with a huff and went back to playing pinball, slamming the machine in the process from frustration. Griffin thought Vance didn't like him but you assured him

"Don't worry kid he thinks your cool, he just needs to concentrate on his game"

you know that Griffin gets somewhat picked on so you tried to teach him how to fight. If you don't know how to fight tho you just have Vance help him lol

speaking of which just cus he gets bullied a lot doesn't mean he can't talk shit back. Griffin has the mouth of a damn sailor if he wants to, of course he doesn't cuss in front of his mother or teachers but when it's just you, him, and Vance it's free game

he kinda finds it funny when people see him as some little innocent boy but then spew the most terrible mashed up form of words put together in the English language 💀

you laughed when you first heard him call someone a butt fucking dickhead

as if he wasn't friends with you and Vance

tried to teach him how to skate one time

Y/n, Vance, and Griffin we're at the park. Y/n put Thier foot on the board and kept the other on the ground. "You put your dominant foot here and keep the one on the ground then push off the sidewalk then put your foot on the board got it?" Griffin nodded as Vance watched. "Alright here" Y/n got off the board and sat on the sidewalk. Griffin copied Y/n movements on the board and started skating down the sidewalk. Vance snorted "I bet his dumbass slips and busts his ass" Y/n smacked his arm "shut up ass hat" Griffin went further down the sidewalk as Y/n cheered.

"You're doing great Little man!"

Griffin turned back to Y/n and Vance, causing him to slip and fall slamming into the pavement.

"Shit-"

"SHIT MAN" Vance and Y/n ran over to where Griffin was now lying. Y/n sat him up and gave him a quick look over "you good? You hit the ground pretty hard" the kid nodded trying to hold back tears

you patched him up and told him that y'all could try again another time

you're always blasting some form of music from your cassette player whenever you're skating around and always try to get Griffin to listen to it

if you're a heavy metal fan he probably won't like it. I hc that Griffin has sensitive ears so really loud noise or music he dislikes so you always try to play more less blaring rock music like some led zeppelin songs

but if you don't listen to metal/rock then he'll probably give it a listen

always try to give him sort of school advice and just advice in general

"Y'know you should never give a shit what people think of you Griffin, if it doesn't affect you in 5 years then I say do whatever the fuck you want 😤"

if you watch horror movies you always try to get him to watch it and try to convince him it's not that scary

he gripped on your arm tight the entire time

literally beat tf out of people in front of him and go to abandoned buildings to hang out yet draw the line of him witnessing a cigarette in your hands

if you have a car you sometimes pick Griffin up from school which is a funny scenario cus Vance likes to tag along sometimes

just imagine being one of Griffins classmates and you just see a car pull up blasting metal/heavy rock (if you Don't listen to that type of music Then Vance chose the music that time lol) of two teenagers one of them being the Vance fucking hopper only for Griffin to walk up and drive off in it while hearing the two teens argue about whether to turn the music down or not

How I think Griffin died

⚠️ Cw: mentions of knives and slitting of the throat, spoilers for the black phone (if the title wasn't spoiler enough for people who haven't watched the movie)

It seems a lot of people in the fandom wonder how the hell Griffin died. Technically we KNOW how he died, his throat was slit severely down to the artery but it's what was the exact reason the grabber killed him. With the other kids we somewhat know why the grabber killed them like with Vance he was killed cus he broke the wall.

Now for some reason I couldn't find the scenes on YouTube or anywhere for that matter so I don't have any references and I'm just gonna have to take this from memory, meaning you're going to have to take this theory with a pinch of salt as well.

The scene where finney is talking with Griffin it's mentioned that the grabber took his bike lock and he wrote the code on the wall. I'm pretty sure that Griffin also said that he tried escaping as well but failed. And in the scene where finney escaped and gets caught the grabber says "scream and I'll gut you like a pig" while holding a knife to his throat. I feel like Griffin was also put in this position and he actually screamed, hoping someone would get him in time but sadly was not the case and was killed right there

Like I said my memories a bit foggy so take this theory as you will 🤷

Has a childhood stuffed animal (probably a teddy bear) that he still has out of nostalgia and that he's too connected to it to let go of it

Had a pet fish when he was younger. when it died he cried and buried it in the backyard. You can still kinda see the watered down cardboard headstone behind the trailer

This man is gay and realized that probably around middle school

Literally cried when he found out bc he knew what would happen if anyone (especially his dad) found out

Uncle Wayne's the only one in Eddies family that's supportive

I personally hc that's why Eddie lives with Wayne bc his parents found out and kicked him out :(

When he's not playing dnd or hanging out with the rest of the group he kinda just tends to stay in his room and practice guitar. That or goes into the woods

Or selling drug's lol

Has an extreme fear of bugs. Literally screams if he sees a cockroach in the trailer as he violently stomps the shit out of it

But if he's with the kids or the queer quartet (especially with Steve) and there's a bug he'll just act all brave and heroic and kill it

But internally he's just as freaked out

Eddie secretly kinda always wanted to have a younger sibling so he could teach them stuff he knew and get them into stuff he was interested in and that's why he absolutely loves his relationship with Dustin bc he's like the younger brother he's always wanted

was absolutely ecstatic when he meet will

Basically took the kid under his wing like he did with Lucas, Dustin, & mike (A/n: side note people need to bring up more about Lucas when talking about Eddie being mentor for Dustin & Mike cus he's also a part of hellfire club so goddamn I'm doing it)

He also encouraged will to wear his "will the wise" costume to at least one of the campaigns

Speaking of hellfire club-

There's this hc I saw on TikTok that I absolutely love that Eddie lost a bet to Lucas and had to wear a princess costume to a campaign

Makes me laugh every time I think about it

I just imagine Eddie with a deadpanned face as the rest of hellfire tried not to laugh Thier asses off

Also Erica decided that she actually liked going to the hellfire campaign and decided to go more often

Tho she won't officially call herself a member cus "hellfire clubs for a bunch of losers" lol

(this for the Eddie lives!au where Eddie just goes with Dustin instead of going and trying to fight the bats off. I'm still mad about that 😒) How Eddie met will was after the "earthquake" when the rest of the group are at Wheelers house and the California crusaders (argyles group lol) are back in Hawkins and there all hugging each other and just happy everyone's okay 👍

Besides the fact They're both queer (will didn't say shit about that btw, Eddie just knew) they're both seen as freaks and have similar interests with dnd so when Eddie and will learned more about each other and realized they had more in common

obviously Eddie doesn't just sweep Dustin under the rug now that wills there but c'mon he can have 2 younger brothers can't he?

Speaking of steddie Steve & Eddie kinda give off divorced parents taking care of Thier kid together and Secretly still are in love with each other but doesn't say anything to the other ab it

Eddie's also the 2nd person for Will to come out to and Eddie immediately accepts him

A/n: here's part 2 of my tbp Headcanons

• going back to Robin liking Michael Jackson I feel like when he's doing chores he's having a whole concert in his living room, he's putting his SOUL into lip syncing/singing those lyrics. Sometimes he'll invite Finney over so they can dance around the living room to Mj lol

• Robin & Finney are childhood friends. How they met is that Robin saw finney alone on the school playground and decided to walk up to him and they stuck together since.

• Robin was the first to develop a crush on Finney while finney thought his attraction towards Robin was just extreme admiration. He talked to Gwen once about how much he admired Robins ability to not take shit from people and how much he likes hanging out with him, it finally clicked With Gwen and she explained to him that "Finney you might have a crush on him 😐" he stood there for a good 2 minute because realizeation hit him like a train of holy shit she's right

• Robin calls Finney Guey (someone said it meant dude but when I looked it up it meant smth else but progressed into being used as dude but that might be wrong so I apologize to my Spanish speaking readers in advance 💀) Finney understands little Spanish so he hopes whatever Robin's calling him isn't insulting

• Bruce is passive aggressive when insulting people while Vance is just upfront calling people cocksuckers he loves using that word

• speaking of Bruce being mean, ik alot of people characterized him as a Golden boy, the boy next door, sunshine but he can be mean as shit if he has to Don't tell me he can't be, y'all saw the way he looked when he thought finney was gonna win the game when he is he's sarcastic and somewhat of a smart ass. Vance finds it hilarious and encourages it when he gets that way

• Bruce is also extremely competitive even outside of Playing baseball. banned from playing board games with the gang cus it went to his head

• Vance is also banned from playing for the time being cus he almost broke his mother's vase out of anger which insued a scolding in front of the rest by his mom lol

• Vance is a great cook but he's like Gordon Ramsay whenever someone (besides his mom ofc) tries to help him

• Vances mom's Italian, his mom taught him how to cook when he was younger so that's why he's great in the kitchen lol

• Everyone survived/lived Au: this is a continuation of pt 1 of my Vance hcs with his mom when Vance got older (like older teens-young adult age) his mom got back in contact with him and decided to stay in his life for good

• Grab n Go used to have a vending machine but soon went out of order cus Vance kept punching it every time the food got stuck which was often, the thing was a piece of shit anyways as Vance would say

• English is Bruces second language and Japanese is his first, when he talks with his parents and sister he uses Japanese most of the time. obviously they speak English as well but when it's just the 4 of them they like to talk in their native language. Bruce sometimes likes to use it to confuse tf out of the rest of the group when talking with them. Robin thinks it's funny

• Robin will absolutely destroy the school lunch food after saying "it's not even that good" mf will eat that dry ass chicken sandwich like he's on death row and it's his last meal. Same for Vance tbh

• Robin favorite candy is Reese's absolutely devours them. Idk if Reese's pieces was a thing back in the 70s but if they were he fucks with them too. Finney also likes Reese's and M&Ms while Gwen prefers M&Ms more

• Robin's a single child but has a fuckload of cousins that visit him on holidays. He's secretly always wanted a little sibling (I mean he sees his baby cousins as his own siblings but they're not always around) so when finney introduces Robin to Gwen they immediately have a sibling relationship

• Robin's uncles has a son named Rick/Ricky. He's older than Robin (like around 17-19) Robin sees him as a older brother.

• since Rick is busy most of the time with work and school it's always a treat for Both him and Robin when he takes Robin (+ finney to ofc) to hangout

• Rick also has a girlfriend that finney might of used to have a small crush on lololol that sometimes also comes with them if she's free

• Vance uses a fucking trash bag as his backpack 💀 that or a backpack that's a thread from falling apart

• Griffin loves goldfish. He'd inhale a whole carton if he could but his mom always stops him before he can (talking about the snack not the actual fish)

• speaking of Griffin he's an absolute mamas boy. Always clings to her whenever They're in a store together

• Griffin bruises easily. He doesn't know why he just does, and what makes it worse is that he's a bit unaware of his surroundings sometimes so he's always bumping into things. His mom playfully scolds him about it while she kisses them to make them feel better

• Griffin is an extremely picky eater as a kid. Literally any fruit or vegetable he doesn't like except apples, oranges, and carrots. when he gets older tho he grows out of it a bit, still hates broccoli tho

• Griffin also is a bookworm. Loves books and likes sitting in the library during lunch sitting next to the shelves and read. He got his love for books from his mom as she is also a bookworm so they bond over that hobby

• if someone calls Vance an idiot or a dumbass it'll set him off. Vance hates when people insult his intelligence, school already makes him feel like shit as is he doesn't need some dickhead telling him he's stupid even as a "joke" like if it's his friend jokingly call him a dumbass once he'll laugh it off but if it's someone doing it to make fun of him they're catching a right hook

• Everyone survived/lived Au: when karate kid is realesed it became one of Robins all time favorite movies and had Finney watch it with him (also modern au: he absolutely loves Cobra Kai)

• when Vance died his mom found out in a newspaper after they found the bodies and broke down in her kitchen. Asking herself why was her baby taken

• and when Robin died it hurt too much for his mom to remarry or have other children as she felt it would be "replacing" her passing husband and son

Wow dropped those angst bombs out of nowhere. Sorry lol

• as much he likes to seem tough Robin absolutely hates spiders. He'll scream and violently stomps the shit out of it but if he's with the others he'll act like they're being overdramatic and kill it as if he isn't internally screaming with them. Finney knows but doesn't say anything

• Billy loves marvel and has a comic book collection. His favorite marvel character is spiderman

Recently I have been seeing a lot of fan fiction for characters in the black phone which is great (they deserve the support) but, with this fan fiction there is sexually explicit content being written about minors gaining mass amounts of interactions. You may or may not have stumbled upon it but, it is particularly about character Vance Hopper. I understand that they are fictional characters, and you are able to age them up in your writing (although it disgusting when you age them up to adults to allow for sexual content). However, when you use gifs of these characters with the actual actors (minors) in them specifically attached to sexual content, it heavily implies that you are using these actors as face claims for sexual content. It is extremely obvious.

Gwen - an aggressive straight Ally. She'll pop anyone in the mouth that disrespects Finney she already does but she'll do it twice as hard if it's cus his sexuality

Robin - homie kisser

Vance - another homie kisser (they're just like me fr)

Bruce - bisexual

Griffin - either unlabeled or straight. On one hand he seems the type to not care what your gender is he just likes you but on the other I don't see him liking boys so idk I'm still contemplating

Billy - straight Ally (I'm sorry but I don't see him liking dudes romanticly. Ik I'm crushing every Biffin shipper rn 💀)

• Finn's favorite color is blue

• Robin's favorite color is green

• Gwen's favorite color is pastel pink. She always tells Finney that Yes there's a difference between pastel pink and regular pink

• Vances favorite color is also blue but he likes more darker blues while finney likes lighter blues

• Billy's favorite color is red

• Griffins favorite color is orange

• Gwen did ballet when she was around 7 but stopped doing it when her mom died

• Gwens favorite book series is Nancy Drew & her favorite movie is wizard of oz

• Billy & Griffin are absolute little shits together. Billy's the shit talker Griffin's the instigator

• Vance is constantly getting into arguments with his teacher in one way or another. The only teacher that isn't on his ass is his English teacher which is his favorite. She's basically like a 2nd mother to him of course he'd never tell her that. He acts all tough in that class but the minute everyone leaves he somewhat dials it back when she tells Vance he did well today and he actually got a passing grade on one of his tests totally not projecting here

• Vance: "ur mom"

Finney: "my mom's dead"

Vance: "damn my fault 💀"

• Billys dogs name is Goldie

• when star wars was realesed Finney absolutely loved the movies and dragged Robin to see them with him

• speaking of Star wars one Halloween Finney & Gwen dressed as Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia

• Vances childhood dog was a bloodhound

• Speaking of Vance he had a pretty rough childhood. I heard that he's a Canon mamas boy so I'm using that as well. He grew up with an abusive and alcoholic father who'd constantly abused him and his mom. He'd always tried to intervene and protect his mom causing him to get hurt. Afterwards his mother would just comfort him as best she could and tell that he shouldn't involve himself when his parents argued. His mom got so fed up with it that she left Vance and his dad when he was 8. She didn't want to leave him but she was so emotionally and mentally drained she just left on impulse. Vance doesn't exactly hate his mom for it cus he knows it probably would've been worse for her if she stayed, but a part of him does resent her for it and wonders sometimes why she couldn't just take him with her.

• the choker he wears was actually his mom's. it's the only thing he had that she left so it has pretty sentimental value.

• Vance has a 6 year old sister named Tara. When he went missing she was basically the only one looking for him. She'd go on her scooter after school everyday around the neighborhood and stay up late watching the news to see if she could get any information. Tara was up when the news stated he was found dead and cried knowing she'd never see her brother again.

Anyways sorry for the sad Vance hcs back to our regular scheduled programming

• Tara's just as foul mouthed and intimidating as her brother. The minute she talks it throws people off bc a little girl calling someone "fuckhead" is definitely something they weren't expecting. kicks anyone in the balls if they mess with Vance or his pinball machine. Gwen absolutely loves her and hangs out with her alot. She's basically like another older sibling for her. Whenever Vance is playing pinball she's either outside playing ball next to the Grab n Go or sitting next to him let's pretend there's a chair next to the pinball machine lol drawing in a coloring book.

• Vance refers to his dad as old man

• Vance love life is interesting to say the least. He doesn't feel like he needs a relationship but wouldn't mind having one. Tho he's not gonna be romantic at all about it 💀 i mean he's not gonna be a dick to his s/o and he'd try to be romantic but he's not gonna call them pet names and be all flowery. a date with Vance is just watching him play pinball tbh

• Vance either is in a band or wants to start one. If he hasn't started one yet he'd never admit to his friends that he wants to make one

• Vances favorite holiday is Halloween so is Robins cus he loves horror sm every year he and his friends wear costumes to scare kids trick or treating

• Modern au: Finney & Gwen don't have cable tv so if they wanna watch shows from CN, nickelodeon etc they go to Robins house (Totally not projecting again) Finney's favorite show is the amazing world of gumball Robins is regular show. Gwen's favorite show is Craig of the creek and her favorite character is Kelsey. When it comes to non cable tv Finney & Gwens favorite show is Mr Rogers neighborhood

• Modern Au: Finney watches game/film theory. Robin watches it with him sometimes but only if it's horror movie/video games

• Vance can't ride a bike for shit. His mom tried teaching him before she left but he couldn't get his balance

• Robin is a roller skating/skating pro. He can do different tricks and flips and Finney always wonders how he does it without busting his ass. One time Robin tried teaching him to skate and ended up falling. Robin found it funny until he saw the giant gash on his hand

• Gwen uses pinkie promises. She's aggressive with them too. she'll be holding her Pinky to Finn "YOU PROMISE? 😠" and he'll say "yeah yeah I promise 😒"

• Modern Au: Gwen has a rainbow loom and makes a shit load of bracelets. Has whole box full of them. She gave a few to Finney and Robin

It's literally so fucking weird bro 💀 I saw someone in the comments of this post say "if you have to age up a character to write smut then they're not old enough" and I agree

I’m crying. Cause people writing smut about aged up minors. Even if they are aged up I feel weird and disgusted. It may be just me but I don’t like seeing people write smut about characters that are LITERALLY minors like me. It just seem so weird. They are minors in the show/movie, I just don’t know how to feel. But if that’s what you want to do? Fine then. But I’m not gonna be readin it.

The fact I thought that person was cool…..and then I saw what they wrote, is disturbing and disgusting. I’m not gonna say their name but they know who they are. Finney or any other minor in a show or movie shouldn’t be in smut if they can’t be the age for it. That’s disgusting, that’s a child.

Summary: while Eddie & Robin go on a walk in the woods, Nancy warns them about staying out at night

A/n: this fic's based off a Twitter post I saw lol. also most of my future monster hunter au fics are probably not gonna be connected and be standalones. Yes they're probably gonna have Steddie + Ronance centered around most of (if not all!) The fics. The most I might have them connected is if I make a pt 2 to one of them.

It was quiet night in the woods. Around 3:00 am. Witching hour is what some would call it, but for Robin and Eddie it was the perfect time to walk in the woods.

Robin stretched as she looked over to Eddie "so how's it going with Steve?" He shrugged "well there's some slight progress. One time I called him "big boy" and man you should've seen his face, all flustered. Took him a back I say. How's things going with Nance? You made a first move yet?" Robin sighed. "Not really. I mean Christ sake Eds I have a crush on THE monster hunter"

"how'd the hell that happen?"

"well it's kind of a long story. Me and Vickie were at band practice and our teacher needed to get something from somewhere so he asked me to do it so I went to where I was supposed to and then bam! The most prettiest girl I'd ever seen right there in the newspaper room. Who so happens to be the person trying to find me"

"wow" Eddie scoffed. "You are fucked"

"Exactly! If she knew I was the thing she was hunting I'd be dead fucking meat"

Nancy had been hunting a certain werewolf for months now. She had been called in for a complaint of a wolf like creature terrorizing Hawkins. When in reality Robin just accidentally slammed into someone's car while it was a full moon. She didn't know how it happened.

Maybe she tripped on her tail, she was prone to doing that. Though maybe it was because she was more clumsy on a full moon in general. She didn't really know, half the time she couldn't remember what the hell happened when she turned.

"So how's it with Jason? Has he found out you're the big mean scary serial killing vampire that's terrorizing Hawkins? Because y'know playing a board game with a bunch of high schoolers is just what's gonna kill us all" Eddie snorted "okay smart ass look who's talking, Hawkins thinks a giant dog is what's terrorizing it's citizens. But other than his usual name calling I don't think he suspects anything"

"he's stupid for that one. Calls you a freak but doesn't suspect a thing"

"Exactly, and I'M supposedly the dumbass"

"I mean c'mon Eds what it's your 2nd? 3rd? Year at Hawkins?"

"listen, geometry is really fucking hard. I hope whoever invented it is burning in the 7th ring of hell as we speak" Robin hummed in agreement.

People and monster hunters alike stereotyped Eddie and Robin to be sworn enemies due to the myth of vampires and werewolves constantly at each others throats. It was called a myth for reason. Robin didn't know what it be like without Eddie. Just like she didn't know where she'd be without Steve.

Steve

It'd been a while since Robin had told him she was a lesbian and he immediately accepted her. She wondered what he'd do if he knew she was...her. if he found out that she was the supposed creature of the night destroying Hawkins and hurting innocent people. That's what the paper said at least. She'd barely hurt a fly. Ok well that was a lie Robin hated bugs but it's a metaphor alright?

Would he treat her the same way he'd treated her when she first came out to him? She doubted it. Being a lesbian and being a werewolf were two completely different things. She could already imagine him with shock and fear in his eyes, grabbing some kind of weapon to defend himself, Screaming at her to get away from him-

Robin closed her eyes. Trying to shake the horrifying vision of the possible truth if Steve found out. "You okay?" Eddie questioned. She shook her head "yeah, yeah everything. Everything's fine" he knew she was lying and probably worried about something. But he didn't push it, not wanting to upset her more than she already seemed to be.

Snap!

Eddie and Robin became alert at the sound of a twig snapping in half. "Did you here that?" Robin asked. "Uh yeah I heard it. Maybe it's max-"

"max wouldn't be out here this late at night. She's usually at home by 10 at least" Robin said, petrified at what was out there. Another snap. Robin turned her heel, ready to run when the barrel of rifle was in her face. She fell as she screamed "PLEASE DON'T KILL US WE WERE JUST GOING ON A WALK-

"a walk? Why the hell are you two going on a walk this late?" Robin recognized the voice immediately. It was Nancy Wheeler. Hawkins most famous monster hunter. "Shit Nance you nearly scared us half to death, thought you were A monster or something" Eddie exclaimed. Nancy threw her rifle on her shoulder and lended her hand to Robin, who quickly grabbed it as she scrambled to her feet. She dusted herself off "yeah Nancy, thought you were that werewolf Hawkins complaining about"

"real smooth" Eddie mumbled. Robin elbowed him. He grunted in response. "No it was just my turn to look over this area of the woods tonight. Now can you tell me why exactly you two are out here?"

"Well like Robin said we're out here for a walk" Eddie said.

"this late at night?"

Robin looked to Eddie then back to Nancy "what Eddie is trying to say is that me and him were pulling an all nighter and I kinda started getting a migraine because y'know geometry is just so hard-"

"really hard" Eddie added

"Extremely hard! So I suggested hey why don't we go out for a walk?"

"at 3 in morning. While its dark outside?" Nancy questioned, starting to get suspicious. "We both wanted to get fresh air. Y'know where Eddie lives it's extremely dusty, and I have really bad allergies" Robin said hoping it make an convincing case.

It did (somehow) because Nancy sighed in relief. "Alright, well I'm glad you're both okay. Been having more reports of monster sightings around in these woods. Anyways you two stay safe out here. Maybe go back inside, can't be too sure what's out here" Robin nodded to her as she waved as Nancy left. Once she was out of sight both of them sighed in relief, Robin leaning on the tree "holy shit I can't believe that actually worked"

"yeah I thought it wasn't considering you were talking a little too much"

"what does that mean?"

"it means if someone questions you, you keep it short as you can" Robin scoffed "you're one to talk. Kept interrupting me. She was starting to think something was up"

"yeah well good thing miss monster hunter didn't right?" Eddie smiled in a smug manner. Robin rolled her eyes. "Whatever suckhead"

"rude"

"she was right though, We should probably get back. Don't know until another monster hunter comes along and isn't convinced by our terrible lying"

Eddie pointed at Robin "I'm not a terrible liar. If anything you're the shitty liar" saying as he walked off. Robin quickly slugged him in the shoulder as she followed him back to the trailer park.
