Finney Blake:
- The sweetest guy to hug. Trust me.
- When he his hugging you, he'll keep one of his hands on your back and the other on the back of your head, it's kinda reassuring 🥲

A/n: this kid was on screen for less than 5 minutes and within those 5 minutes I wanted to be his big brother and buy him snacks and give him head pats bc he's a sweet kid to me whenever I see a kid in any form of media I like I have the urge to adopt them
How you 2 met is that you both were neighbors
He always saw you outside on the sidewalk on your skateboard if you don't skate just pretend you do lol
thought you were pretty cool but didn't say anything cus teenagers scared him same Griffin same
one day his bike broke and his mom was at work so he decided to ask you for help
you both knew of each other before, you'd sometimes help his mom with her errands. But y'all barely spoke to each other besides the hellos sometimes
Knocked at your door and just stood there like "🕴️"
He's an awkward kid alright?
After telling you what he needed you dragged the bike into your garage and fixed it
He sat on one of the plastic bins and talked with you while you tried fixing it
Asked a shit load of questions 💀
"How old are you?"

"Hm my favorites goldfish if I could I'd eat them all the time but my mom says that I shouldn't cus I'd get sick"

Griffin immediately takes note how you don't brush him off or tell him to be quiet, and even tho you're busy with something you're still answering him. He continues to ramble as you just listen what the kid has to say
after that interaction y'all become a little closer
k now let's get time skip to where y'all actually are friends
your nicknames for him are kid and little man
if you have a job you always save a little for Griffin so you can buy him snacks whenever y'all go to the store
after school he'll come by your house and y'all just talk while you fix your board in the garage or doing skating around the sidewalk
that or you play video games that you have (they had small gaming consoles in the 70s like Atari & telegames)
he's kinda a sore loser tho 💀
he'll complain about losing for the 3rd time in a row while you laugh your ass off. He punches you in the arm for it
you try to teach how to actually get good at it
since y'all are basically brothers you also play fight/argue
you'll smack him on the back of the neck sometimes (not hard enough that it actually hurts it just startles him lol) and he'll punch you in the arm, causing you to give him a noogie (if you don't know what that is it's when someone playfully wrap your arm around someone and mess up Thier hair)
of course since you're older then him you always make sure you don't seriously hurt him
when he does get seriously injured tho from scraping his knee from riding his bike or just playing outside you always patch him up

"I fell 😐"
you always have first aid with you cus you get scrapes from skating yourself, so when Griffin gets scratched up sometimes you already have it ready
Griffins mom absolutely adores you and how you're like an older brother for her son. She knows he doesn't have alot of friends so you being one of his makes her really happy
whenever y'all go to the grab n go you always steer Griffin away from Vance
you actually took an ass beating from Vance for Griffin after some dick from his school tripped him and he slammed into the pinball machine
• I mean Vance wouldn't have beat Griffins ass anyways cus he's a little kid but no one knew that
afterwards you both sat on the curb while you held a cold soda to your now black eye
"Can't believe you let that guy beat you over some stupid game 😒"
"Griffin shut the fuck up-"
now if you're friends with Vance ignore the above lol
when Griffin slammed into the machine Vance almost cussed him out but you quickly grabbed the kid as you tried to explain to Vance
"Yo Vance chill he's with me man. Griffin say hi"
"Hey"
he just responded with a huff and went back to playing pinball, slamming the machine in the process from frustration. Griffin thought Vance didn't like him but you assured him
"Don't worry kid he thinks your cool, he just needs to concentrate on his game"
you know that Griffin gets somewhat picked on so you tried to teach him how to fight. If you don't know how to fight tho you just have Vance help him lol
speaking of which just cus he gets bullied a lot doesn't mean he can't talk shit back. Griffin has the mouth of a damn sailor if he wants to, of course he doesn't cuss in front of his mother or teachers but when it's just you, him, and Vance it's free game
he kinda finds it funny when people see him as some little innocent boy but then spew the most terrible mashed up form of words put together in the English language 💀
you laughed when you first heard him call someone a butt fucking dickhead
as if he wasn't friends with you and Vance
tried to teach him how to skate one time
Y/n, Vance, and Griffin we're at the park. Y/n put Thier foot on the board and kept the other on the ground. "You put your dominant foot here and keep the one on the ground then push off the sidewalk then put your foot on the board got it?" Griffin nodded as Vance watched. "Alright here" Y/n got off the board and sat on the sidewalk. Griffin copied Y/n movements on the board and started skating down the sidewalk. Vance snorted "I bet his dumbass slips and busts his ass" Y/n smacked his arm "shut up ass hat" Griffin went further down the sidewalk as Y/n cheered.
"You're doing great Little man!"
Griffin turned back to Y/n and Vance, causing him to slip and fall slamming into the pavement.
"Shit-"
"SHIT MAN" Vance and Y/n ran over to where Griffin was now lying. Y/n sat him up and gave him a quick look over "you good? You hit the ground pretty hard" the kid nodded trying to hold back tears
you patched him up and told him that y'all could try again another time
you're always blasting some form of music from your cassette player whenever you're skating around and always try to get Griffin to listen to it
if you're a heavy metal fan he probably won't like it. I hc that Griffin has sensitive ears so really loud noise or music he dislikes so you always try to play more less blaring rock music like some led zeppelin songs
but if you don't listen to metal/rock then he'll probably give it a listen
always try to give him sort of school advice and just advice in general
"Y'know you should never give a shit what people think of you Griffin, if it doesn't affect you in 5 years then I say do whatever the fuck you want 😤"

if you watch horror movies you always try to get him to watch it and try to convince him it's not that scary

literally beat tf out of people in front of him and go to abandoned buildings to hang out yet draw the line of him witnessing a cigarette in your hands

if you have a car you sometimes pick Griffin up from school which is a funny scenario cus Vance likes to tag along sometimes
just imagine being one of Griffins classmates and you just see a car pull up blasting metal/heavy rock (if you Don't listen to that type of music Then Vance chose the music that time lol) of two teenagers one of them being the Vance fucking hopper only for Griffin to walk up and drive off in it while hearing the two teens argue about whether to turn the music down or not

my first 'x reader' request <3 i hope you enjoy i have no clue what i am doing LOL. this became a lot longer than i realized... also i plan on sunday night/ monday finally answering my inbox!

ok so first off, you probably started babysitting him when he was like in 4th grade so like 10 years old and you were 14 trying to make some extra money
and your neighbor mrs. arellano needed someone to be with her son for four hours after school cause lets say robin's uncle had new working hours
you would pick robin up from school that let out at 3, help him with homework, make him a snack, play with him until 6 pm when his uncle would return home
very easy job!
except in the beginning robin would NOT open up
anything you would do he would look at you indifferently and not react
at like all
not even when u made his food into fun shapes
you: i cut your sandwich into fun faces! :)
robin: *slowly blinks, takes the plate of the sandwiches with no expression and walks away*
so for the first two weeks you saw him as a little brat and you couldn't handle this kid
you were considering asking mrs. arellano if she could get another babysitter so you could quit or at least watch him less
that was until one day, the day you planned to talk to mrs. arellano about getting a new sitter when this kid
absolutely out of nowhere
would not stop clinging to you
you went to pick him up from school and he zoomed out the building and fucking JUMPED to hug you

like he wanted to be carried home, and when you couldn't cause his back pack was heavy (wtf were teachers assigning to 4th graders these days???) he settled for holding your hand and talking about his day
and when you got him home he wanted to help prepare his snack
turns out he was analyzing you to see if you were a good person, a vibe check sort to speak
and you passed! congratulations!
also turns out for his art project in school he drew you :(
(you have that photo in your wallet and show everyone even when robin is like 18 you will go 'look what robin drew for me!' and he will threaten to hit u')
so now you are stuck with this kid for the rest of your life
when his 11th birthday rolls around you're the first person this kid invites
also at this party this is when you meet finney!
robin is SO stoked to have you meet his best friend he wouldn't stop talking about it leading up to his birthday
ok so timeskip to when robin is 13 and you are 17
while he doesn't need a babysitter now he will not let you go
you are like an older sibling to him he will be damned if you stop hanging out with him
think steve and dustin from stranger things
anyways
and since now robin has like gotten in many fights now and has a rough kid reputation and now u get the pleasure of making sure his wounds don't get infected! so happy 4 u
u scold him a lot the first couple times he get in a fight while taking care of him so he has finney clean him up before he sees you after school to avoid that
speaking of finney
he would be friends with the rest of the casper crew so now you have seemingly adopted them too
i think out of the rest of the casper crew, besides robin, you would be pretty close to vance and griffin
vance, because he also is a rough kid like robin but you quickly break down vance's walls surprisingly
he tries to act tough but when u call him kiddo/ help take care of his hair he gets real quiet and has a small smile on his face
honestly ur just good with rougher kids, like when u grow up u end up going to become a therapist to help those rougher kids and understand them
and griffin because he's small, u could pick him up like a ragdoll and throw him against the wall u have this need to protect him
but he's also the biggest instigator so now u have to really control him
griffin, to vance: me, personally, i would not let that slide
you: *sighing, having to hold both vance and griffin at the collars of their shirts like cats*
you about robin: they are lovely amazing kids they are my pride and joy :)
you about vance and griffin: these are my dogs, they have rabies
for finney, you also unknowingly adopt gwen alongside him
they are a two-in-one deal tbh
when nights get bad at their house cause of their father, they leave to stay the night at yours and you comfort them
so u especially take up a more parent role for those two
also remember i mentioned u cutting robin's food into fun shapes? you bring back your star cookie cutters for finney
he acts nonchalant but inside he's freaking out over the star shaped sandwiches
for billy/ paperboy, hes like the most normal of the bunch, the straightman if u will
when u have to leave the room for like two minutes u always have billy be in charge (he has those spray water bottles u use on cats when they misbehave)
now bruce... i feel like he unknowingly makes enemies with people so now u have to protect this kid from getting jumped and he has not a damn clue what's going on
u knock on his head and u hear an echo (/lh)
so atp robin def has a key to your house so now they can terrorize u whenever u want
you, walking into your home: hello people who don't live hear

vance: sup
bruce: hey!
billy: *waves without looking up from his book*
finney: robin brought us here
griffin: we were out of doritos so we came to steal from you!
they all take a year away from your life
to circle this back to robin, you two are obviously the closest
as stated above, he sees you as an older sibling and while u love all the others who entered your life, it will always be you and robin
you are the first person he tells when he gets a 'C' on his math test
he will always be able to mention you to someone in a conversation
you are one of his role models in life
at the end of the day, you two will always be bonded for life

when robin goes missing, you are a mess. it was one of the two days you typically don't see robin, and now you feel it was your fault he was taken. how could you be so careless? late at night, you wish it was you that was taken.

How I think Griffin died
⚠️ Cw: mentions of knives and slitting of the throat, spoilers for the black phone (if the title wasn't spoiler enough for people who haven't watched the movie)
It seems a lot of people in the fandom wonder how the hell Griffin died. Technically we KNOW how he died, his throat was slit severely down to the artery but it's what was the exact reason the grabber killed him. With the other kids we somewhat know why the grabber killed them like with Vance he was killed cus he broke the wall.
Now for some reason I couldn't find the scenes on YouTube or anywhere for that matter so I don't have any references and I'm just gonna have to take this from memory, meaning you're going to have to take this theory with a pinch of salt as well.
The scene where finney is talking with Griffin it's mentioned that the grabber took his bike lock and he wrote the code on the wall. I'm pretty sure that Griffin also said that he tried escaping as well but failed. And in the scene where finney escaped and gets caught the grabber says "scream and I'll gut you like a pig" while holding a knife to his throat. I feel like Griffin was also put in this position and he actually screamed, hoping someone would get him in time but sadly was not the case and was killed right there
Like I said my memories a bit foggy so take this theory as you will 🤷

- One time he deadass cheered on you when you were fighting with some girl in the school's hallway 💀

Vance Hopper:
- Vance would be impressed, not like Bruce though, but I think he'll just raise his eyebrows and maybe laugh a bit when he'll see you beating up your bully.
- He secretly thinks that fighting makes you look hot-
- He's the one teaching you some of his secret technique, and he finds it cute when you're copying step by step his moves--
- Unlike Bruce, when your throwing fists he will not just stay there 🧍 bc nobody has the right to touch his precious s/o
- "Calm down, you'll never be as strong as me"
- Sometimes you'll fight him as a joke, but you'll always end up on the floor 💀
Robin Arellano:
- One time he heard that you got into a fight so he immediately rushed to save you, but when he saw you pining down a grown ass eighteen years old boy, he felt really proud
- Like super proud-
- Eventually he'll try to explain to you that you don't have to fight your bullies, that you can tell him who's messing with you and he'll beat them right away
- But gosh he's proud. Like, he has that soft smile when he's patching your knuckles, caressing them lightly 🥺

Finney Blake:
- Shocked since the day you slapped the life out of one of his bullies 💀
