You feel yourself swallow the lump in your throat and bite your lip. You don’t know why you always feel like this when talking to jungkook, maybe it’s his hovering figure, intimidating voice or piercing brown eyes. Even though his eyes give off a soft innocent look you can’t help but observe the sensuality in them.

Thank you, everyone

This is a little different to what I usually post and I might just be all up in my feelings today but I need to know I’m not the only one who wishes that the writings and art they put out makes someone smile or cheer up one day.

I got into Legend of Zelda at a very young age due to family, and I’ve played the games through really hard times. Zelda’s been there to help me through whatever I went through that day or week, and I’ve always hoped I could do the same for others. I’ve never really been an out-there kind of person and I find it better to express myself through my stories and art.

So in a sense this blog, as well as Oath of the Forsaken and all of the fanart and character redesigns that come with it, have been passion pieces dedicated to the franchise and characters and stories I love. All of the literature, fanfictions, headcannons etc I see make me so happy and I wish that by bringing my work into the world, not only can I make a name for myself, but also bring those same feelings into the hearts of those who view it, no matter if it’s one person, a hundred, or every person currently alive.

Thank you to everyone who has been following this blog, or even just liked one piece of art or random ramble about lore I made and has never interacted with my page again. Even if you aren’t reading this right now, thank you. You make my day.

Hi, I know we have quite different oppinions on some SE related things, but thats why I wanted to ask:

I actually really liked the manga Baba Yaga arc. Is your oppinion on it positve too or do you actually think its not as good or atleast weaker than the folowing arcs?

I'm curious on people's oppinions and finding out where the difference of perspectives originate

(Also think the Baba Yaga arc had a very strong SoMa moment with the whole puppet chapter resolution and Maka giving Soul and outstretched hand is an iconic panel to me)

I don't think the manga had a single "weak" arc. The more I pick things apart, the more I'm seeing what masterful storycrafting took place in Soul Eater, which is surely part of why it has such a strong fanbase to this day.

The Baba Yaga arc was fantastic!!! I have not read the manga since January, but I'll try to bullet point some of the key things that make it great.

And I'll preface this all by saying... The manga is divided into two halves, essentially (we know that), and at the end of each half...our main characters reach milestones in their stories and their character development. So it's like...they've all been hopping across stepping stones to reach the other side of the pond, and here they all arrive. And get ready to brave the waves of the next half of the story.

Also, I'm writing this in a way that assumes the reader has read and is intimately familiar with the manga. So I'm not going into detail about things. But anyway...

MAJOR spoilers for Soul Eater manga, if that matters to anyone.

The secondary trio. We get to see ALL of the kids in this arc, and time is spent with each of them; it's not JUST the main meister trio and their weapons, but it's also the secondary trio, and we finally get to know them more deeply as characters! And good heavens is that development ever GOOD! I won't detail it so folks can read it for themselves, but my GOSH was that ever phenomenal!

Minor characters. Eruka, Free, even Giriko, and Mosquito get their moments. And they're not just there to be on the page, they serve an actual purpose. And I felt that Mosquito here became more a genuine threat, less an annoying pest (lol, mosquito). We also get the unexpected introduction of a new enemy in Noah, which was a fabulous twist.

The first major seeds of doubt are sown here with the DWMA's decision making; perhaps they are not the great and wise leaders we've been led to believe? Because going along with Medusa's plan was clearly, clearly unwise. We have this sense the whole time that the effort is doomed simply by nature of...we know the decision was unwise. And with the little hints prior, and with what ultimately comes later regarding the DWMA and their place in the world...it was a fantastic stepping stone along that piece of the plot.

Medusa. The tension of her presence, of her supposedly being their ally. The clear and obvious lie she tells to Maka to gain her cooperation. Her true motives slowly but surely unfolding, and what ultimately happens with her in the end of the arc. It was a brilliant, brilliant play, completely inline with the manipulative character we know and love/hate, and an added level of threat throughout the arc since the point is to stop Arachne. And then to have the true plan revealed in the end... Sheer brilliance.

Black Star and Tsubaki vs Mifune. Another perfect stepping stone in the plot of Black Star's character development, from who he was at the beginning to who he ends up being in the very final chapter of the manga. Tense, powerful, bittersweet... Black Star is arriving here at who he needs to be to truly complete his goal. We see the growth in his words, his actions, and it becomes so important going forward.

Maka and Soul, and the battle against Arachne. Here we get back to the purpose... How was Soul Eater the series introduced? You defeat 99 evil souls and then the soul of a witch. So, we have arrived at last. A battle against a witch. And the themes of trust that were set up in that very first chapter get to shine here with Maka and Soul's growth as a meister/weapon pair. And oh ho HO that payoff... With yet another twist following... Fantastic storytelling!

Kid's sacrifice. Unexpected, heart-pounding, and yet again... A culmination of his growth. Throughout the arc... In his wise decision-making, his battle tactics, and then ultimately his sacrifice... He is stepping out of the...youthful and surface-level obsessiveness that is ultimately part of what is going to make him a great Shinigami someday, and stepping into the beginnings of maturing into that role. No more worrying about the height of picture frames. Only protecting the world, and protecting the ones he loves. It is a powerful, powerful moment in his development.

As I said in the beginning... This is an arrival, for each character. An arrival, and then they get to take a breath before the ultimate battle. Everything about this arc was phenomenal. Each and every character given their due; the pacing; the story itself with all of its frights, twists, and payoffs, and the way it makes the reader think. Truly, truly outstanding!

I know this was a very vague summary and assumes intimate knowledge of the manga, but my gosh... Truly a fabulous arc and I want to go read it again right now.

Hello there, and welcome back. This request took my braincells a bit to work, but I think the end result isn't half-bad. Dad Prime is always a nice thing to write tho, so alas. Sentinel Prime vs. GN!Reader feat. Dad Prime

The dislike between the two of you was clear from the start

He dislikes you for being organic and always being around Team Prime

You dislike him for being xenophobic and his behaviour towards Optimus

Optimus is someone you care greatly for

He's caring, supportive and always has your back and you want to do the same for him

So one day, when Sentinel is talking down to Optimus, while he just sits and endures, you snap

Climbing up some boxes standing around to be closer in height, you start yelling at Sentinel

Sentinel is shocked and surprised, then he gets embarrassed and angry

Leaving Optimus to the side, he stalks over and starts yelling at you

Maybe facing a mechanical lifeform several times bigger than you, should be intimidating, but right this moment you don't care and you sure as hell don't feel scared of that pompous ass. No, rather you're very angry and you're letting him know so loudly. Maybe it wasn't your place, but you just couldn't continue standing by as he talked down one of the people most important to you. "-so, shut up!", you end your rant breathing heavily as silence settles over the room, where just moments before a meeting had been held.

It was almost hilarious to see the way Sentinel's faceplate contorted into a grimace, faceplate darkening in anger. With three angry steps he's right in front of you and you think that is the closest he ever willingly got to you. "Listen here you organic, this is none of your business. So why don't you shut up about things you don't know about? Or even better go back where you came from instead of being another useless presence here.", he yells down at you, his voice almost hissing at the end, the question who else he considered useless didn't need to be asked.

And to his chargin you do the exact opposite of shutting up and leaving. "Look whose talking! If anyone here is useless it's you. You act like you're oh so good, but everyone here knows that's all just talk no action. And really, who needs you? Because unlike you Optimus is not only way more competent and brave, he's actually a good leader. So stop talking down to him, you bully. Oh and you know what else? Unlike you Optimus has people that care about him like family.".

The meeting doesn't last long after that

Sentinel is so angry it looks like he's going to blow a fuse

Ultra Magnus is rather taken aback, but Jazz is definitivly on your side

Team Prime has a general positve reaction

Ratchet thinks that Sentinel absolutely deserved it, he'd love to chew him out himself

Bulkhead is a little worried for you and any kind of punishment that you might receive

Bumblebee and Sari are fans, they loved seeing you tearing into him

Prowl is rather quiet on the matter, but does't say anything against it either

Now Optimus, he is very touched and a bit embarrassed

He is also scrambling to do damage control for the relationship between the Elite Guard and Team Prime

But he does really appriciate it and is touched by your care for him

So I have a question. You asked me a few days ago if Serana would make an appearance in my HOTD x Skyrim crossover. I do plan on writing Rhaenyra and her companions going through the Dawnguard quest at some point in my life but I want to know your opinion. How do you think Rhaenyra will react to meeting Serana?

Do you think they’d get along? What do you think Rhaenyra would think about vampires trying to destroy the sun and take over the world?

And speaking of DLC how over it do you think she’ll be when she realizes she’s going to have to save the world a third time against Miraak? Honestly I think she’ll be most upset about Miraak coming in at the end of her dragon battles and taking her rightfully earned souls.

Sorry for the long delay, I wanted to get all my thought down properly and thanks for the ask!

Regarding Seranna, I can see hers and Rhaenyra’s relationship go in several direction. Rhaenyra’s view on vampires in general would be at least in part derivative on her overall view of Daedra. Which could be from a positve or very negative standpoint. When it comes to vampires specifically, a lot this depends on how you decide Rhaenyra views immortality and the darker more daedric magics. But I can also see Rhaenyra being pissed off as well. Especially since her blood is “required” via Valerica’s trap to wake Serana.

Prior to Rhaenyra discovering the truth of how Serana became a vampire, I can see the two of them having a case of clashing ego’s. The immortal creature of night (herself the pinnacle of her species) and dragon in human form. Rhaenyra’s own views on vampires (in general) would be conflicted. On the one hand, she would be intrigued about the concept of immortality. Never dying and never aging. Though it also depends on what you decide Rhaenyra’s mindset is. She was “transported” to Tamriel after the dance of dragons. Meaning her lover(s) and most of her children are deceased. She may desire to join them sooner rather than later. Unless of course, she finds something or someone to live for in her strange new world 😉

+ I could also see Rhaenyra at least tolerating Vampiric blood magic. Since pretty much all forms of magic in GRRM world is a rehashing of blood magic. Which would Lilly include whatever the ancient Valyrians did to go from sheep herders in Essos to empire ruling dragon riders. Even the others (themselves born of the children’s/old Gods blood magic) another “undead race”. Her main disdain, would come from the need for blood as sustenance, and harm from the sun.

Valyrians of course have a special connection to dragons and Fire, with Rhaenyra in your story being a dragon in human form ;). But this does not completely translate to sun worship or anything of that ilk. However, they must still have a certain regard or respect for the celestial body of fire. I this so anyway… Rhaenyra in the show is seen carrying on certain Valyrian customs. Perhaps a respect for the sun is one of them.

Of course, the sun itself in “Mundos” isn’t a physical body like in Westeros. Instead being a whole Magnus made escaping to Atherius after he realized his powers were being drained on Nirn. Depending how you want to go with this, Rhaenyra (being someone with a regard for Valyrian customs) might consider the entire idea that the sun is not truly the sun to be blasphemous. Though Harkon’s attempts to obscure the sun’s light (and thus destroy the world) may be more blasphemous still. Or she could see the Sun being in and of itself still metaphysically the Sun and thus not offensive to her Valyrian sensibilities. In which case, she would bodily despise Harkon and his Volkihar Vampires.

Lastly, I think Rhaenyra would also feel protective over Serena. Depending on how close you want to right their relationship. Once Rhaenyra learns that Serena is a daughter of Coldharbor and more importantly about the bile ritual that her parents forced on Serana. I can see Rhaenyra

This has the potential to remind Rhaenyra of her own frustrations with her father. Which could be something she and Serana bond over. Not that Viserys I own misconduct in anywhere near Harkon’s level…

Perhaps Rhaeneys even confronts Valerica in the Soul Carn about Serana and her undergoing Molag Bal’s rape ritual. It would provide Rhaenyra with even more motivation to slay Harkon.

I can also see Rhaenyra being potentially conflicted about the fate of the Snow Elves. On the one hand, Rhaenyra descends from the Valyrians. A forgotten people with few remnants left in their native continent of Essos, and feet still in Westeros. So she might feel a certain kinship with them.

Regarding Rhaenyra and Miraak, I can very much see her being annoyed that the world is in danger a third time. Though more so in a “another day at the job” fashion than genuine anger. Where she gets genuinely angry over the Dragonborn DLC can be several fold. Though we must also keep in mind that Rhaenyra has saved Nirn at least twice at this point. Perhaps even thrice, if she does the mage quest line. She’d likely be annoyed about having to save Nirn again and again and again…

It also depends on how far the Elder Scrolls rabbit hole you wish to go. Is Rhaenyra the dreamer? Does she achieve Chim? Does she Zero sum in the end? Though I wouldn’t deal with those topics unless you want to write about existentialism. Which is its own can of worms.

(Counting in Latin below to honor the Imperial Legion 😉)

Primus : you are absolutely right about her annoyance that Miraak is stealing the dragon souls that that she has already “rightfully stolen” (to use a Princess Bride quote ;). Rhaenyra would be upset that her hard work is squandered but also Rhaenyra may be upset over Miraaks expressed laziness. Waiting for her to do all the work and then stealing what belongs to her. Which is sort of call back to her Time in Westeros and tangentially her younger half siblings for her. It doesn’t help that Miraak lives in Apocrypha. Where that air is constantly filled with noxious fumes. Fumes that are a pale yellow-green in color. Or his sword “Firstblade” which also is green in color. Which may remind Rhaenyra of other greens she has battled in the past. In which case, poor Miraak… we hardly knew ye.

Secundus: depending on how you write her view of Alduin. Rhaenyra may be pissed that Miraak hand waved his own “destiny” to slay Alduin when he was a mortal dragon priest. Which then foisted the task onto her a few thousand years later.

Tertius: Miraak is the first dragon born and Rhaenyra is “the last”. The seal of the dragon burns if you will. As such, Rhaenyra may consider to herself duty bound with Miraak. A sort of “only a dragon born can slay a dragon born” thing.

Quartus: It also depends on how you write Rhaenyra’s viewpoint of the Daedric princes. Does she like them? View them as a necessary evil? Does she dislike them in the fashion of the Vigilants of Stendarr? Or is Rhaenyra’s viewpoint more nuanced, where she has positive feelings for some and negative for others?

Quintus: If she’s negative on the Daedra overall, Rhaenyra may be more than willing to fight Miraak. As powerful as he may be, Miraak is a servant of Hermaeus Mora at the end of the day. Though Rhaenyra may be influenced by all the books and information that Mora has in Apocrypha. I could see Rhaenyra looking for spells that could either take her back to Westeros or spells that would allow to “resurrect ” her slain children. Not necromantic spells that would place them under her power, but true resurrection spells. I could also see her being annoyed at Miraak interrupting her “research”.

Lets talk about Shen Jiu

Okay it's just a fictional character- I'm just assuming some things from the scant amount of info I've read and came to this realisation. If you want to decide that Shen Jiu just plain sucks, that's fine. Just because I think he's an intesting character doesn't mean I condone the things he did in PIDW [the fact that I have to write this is sad. but hey covering my bases]

So again any Anti-Shen Jius good for you for knowing to hate a scumbag character, I just think morally grey and evil characters are neat ^^; This is just a character analysis- it's not a positve OR negative review it's just a whole "I understand why he acted this way."

So the way I see it there is TWO Shen Jius.

The CANON Shen Jiu and the DRAFT Shen Jiu. The canon OG from Proud immortal demon way, the lazy fanservice product from Airplane himself. From the [Extras] Of Airplanes pov, he stated he 'scrapped' Shen Jius and Luo Binghes father just for money. So the Canon pidw is of course a scumbag etc.

So what about the second Shen Jiu? The DRAFTED one.

From the parts I got the Draft story of PIDW was supposed to be about two opposing characters Both Shen Qingqiu AND Luo Binghe BOTH cut from the same cloth, Shen Qingqiu was supposed to be Luo Binghes warped funhouse mirror of who Luo Binghe could BECOME. Shen Jiu faced abuse, so did Luo Binghe and near the end once his past was revealed was supposed to be Luo Binghe seeing himself BECOMING Shen Qingqiu that abuse creates more abuse. [This was what airplane was going for but thanks to fandom decided to just AXE this concept for fanservice and lame low level Iq villains]

But in the Extras of Scum Villain from Airplanes POV. Then we have Airplane seeing Shen QIngqiu becoming flustered making Liu Qingge snap at him and saying he tried to kill him on purpose, Shang tries to tell Liu thats NOT what happened Shen Qingqiu was trying to help-

But Shen Qingqiu told him wasn't he supposed to be dead? [Since shang was pretending to feint so airplane shut up and flopped back down] Shen Qingqiu doesn't defend himself and accepts what others say, and everytime Liu snaps at him- even when he said that Shen Qingqiu was behind because he started his cultivation late, Shen said nothing.

Shen Qingqiu was so bothered by this, wasn't even reading his book...that was upside down. Airplane saw that the villain had his book upside down. That it bothered him that much.

Him the great Shen Qingqiu! The peak lord holior than thou who made no mistakes was flustered to have his book upside down..^^;

And Shang Qunghua told him "Hey when someone has a Qi deviation, don't panic okay?"

...Shen Jiu killed Lui Mingyan by ACCIDENT!?

This is airplane the author! He knows everything about Shen Qingqiu and how he opporates and instead of avoiding this villain and even making it easier to blacken his reputation he tries to help him?

And another was Meng Mo, he absoletly HATED Shen Qingqiu esp since Luo Binghe has such favour over him. But Meng Mo saved Shen Qingqiu and seemed so different as if he changed his opinion and even spoke of Shen QIngqius past [Shen Yaun had No idea of Shen Jius past and was like- tell me] Meng mo was like

??? Maybe you shouldn't? Some things are best left forgotten? Meng mo geniunly cared and didn't want to show Shen Qingqius shitty past. His past being that he was abused by the huitangs, that the elder brother abused him, told him he couldn't be a cultivator and would never escape would be married to his sister and forced to stay in the clan his whole life to play pretend loving husband then getting beat up ruthlessly by all of the male clan members.

"This isn't a certain fact BUT given that Shen Jiu only murdered the male members and left the women/children alive cause to speculation that maybe he was abused sexually as well." [This is just speculation or left to interpeatation so feel free to ignore this as irrelevant or strike it from the record if you don't agree. I just think it adds to his character.]

As I've said before, we are looking at Scum Villain as a warped tale of events- PIDW and from how Shen Qingiiu POV and how he advances the story believed that 'Shen QIngiu' murdered Liu Qingge on purpose. BUT From Shang Quanghua POV he says that it was an accident because Shen QIngqiu panicked.

Makes you wonder how much is different but even Airplane admitted to Shen Yaun that Scum Villain was going in the same direction of his FIRST DRAFT.

I think the whole concept was making the audience of Proud Immortal demon way- [Not us the audiance of airplane] -TO be unable to determine which was was the villain. A blackened anti-hero protag and and evil Scum Villain who also had a tragic past backstory and tried to do good but everything was taken out of context. What I'm trying to say is, looking at the two characters objectively and with nuetrality the point was to make it unclear of who the villain or who the hero was as both of them are SO similair you couldn't tell.

I absolutely love Shen Yaun- I think he's the coolest for someone like any type of hardcore fan who wasn't even raised in a xiania world was so adaptable and went through so much BULLShit, believe me if I was in his shoes I could never I would've died or NOPED so hard like fuck Luo Binghe I'm just gonna live in a cave until this is ALL over. It's also really sucky that Shen Yaun pays for Shen Jius crimes.

But I can't help but be objective and think, if hypothetically Shen Yaun transmigrated earlier could he still be the soft Shizun who was polite to everyone?

If he actually faced all of Shen Jius trauma firsthand of being left behind having to claw his way out of hell his first time, had to put in so much work and effort into becoming a peak lord only to still be looked down on as a servant making all of his effort pointless- would he still be trusting and vunerable? Shen Yaun tends to throw his life away and get along with everyone, while Shen jiu's motives comes across as selfish and close off but thats just self -preservation the mentality that no one will save you- you have to save yourself.

Shen Jiu is like an abused dog and yet people act confused of why he's still scared of out reaching hands and bites. They care more for how he reacts then WHY he reacts.

His past was SO bad that when his ex-wife saw his past thanks to Meng Mo she ran away screaming.

Does that excuse child abuse? Absoltutly fucking not BUT if someone is treat a certain way, they probably have no idea of what IS and Isn't abuse.

There are people in IRL [One of my managers at work thinks it's okay to take harrasment because she herself was harrased so she has no symptathy when people in higher power takes out their frustrations on their staff so when I said "This SO is being mean. whats her problem?" Was told to deal with it because of out of work reasons, so she's BIASED] For example the Lan Clan beats the shit out of their disiples and guests for breaking curfew?

There's also Liu Qinggeclan that fights against all the Disiples of Shen Qingqiu but there was talk that even Liu Qingge beats up his own disiples rather than teaches them.

I'm just saying, Shen Jiu only harmed people who harmed him then fell into the cycle of abuse and harmed his disiples. Which is more than you could say for PIDW Luo Binghe-ge. A psyopathic murderer, who kills indiscimentaly, like his grievences was only Shen Qingqiu- maybe the palace master because of what his mother went through, he may not have abused kids- but he made EVERYONE suffer in PIDW, merging the demon/human realm wouldn't defiently killed non-cultivators, Yue Qingyuan also murdered, why what did he do? Okay he was trying to save Shen Jiu of course but impaled by arrows? Like in the most goreyst way??? All of the sects were probably demolished so Luo Binghe just made the whole world burn because because of one master. Shen Qingqiu only destroyed one clan. Luo Binghe destroyed the world. Makes you think which is the worst one?

And before people start, even Shen Qingiuq [Scum-villain] Even admitted to the infighting and all of the abuse that his wives are taking because of the little palace princess and her wip. Luo Binghe is ignoring this, and even compliant for the infighting meaning he [just like Shen qingqiu] is also slipping into the cycle of abuse not knowing whats normal and what is problemmatic.

I just think Shen Jiu is neat as a character study- when people do something wrong you always want to know why? What caused it what was the reason? And does the reason justify the means?

Is this whole post pro-Shen Jiu? Heck NO I just love knowing what makes characters tic- the thing about Mo Xiang Tong Xius works is that all of her characters even background ones have agency- as a writer I want to understand what a characters goals, reasoning are to understand how they would act, react in a certain scenario.

Most people believe they are the hero of their own story, so seeing Shen Jiu as a protag and how he survived his story and even reason why he does such things is a great way to understand villains and create my own multi-dimensional characters.

Just saying Shen Jiu is a villain in PIDW don't forget that? I wasn't forgetting or even thinking that it's justified. If I ever think of Shen Jiu as completely innocent that that is just way too OOC even for him. I just don't see this character as just black and white.

Black and white, good or evil, Villain Hero is just childish and boring, real people are contradictory, we're hypocritical, we don't make sense and I can be of two minds I can hate and like something at the same time.

The reason why Shen Jiu is cool is because he has elements of being a misunderstood villain- but we will NEVER know because the dude was ripped from his body and replaced with a hardcore fan who did it better. That he and Yue quinyaun will NEVER get closure.

I would like to see an [extra] chapter of Scum Villain of having Shen Jiu watch the whole events of Scum villain, his own sense of hell of seeing people think Shen Jiu lost his memory and no one even thought of telling him because they liked his amnesiac version better? Of seeing what his actions had done, that if you abuse someone to the point of breaking don't be surprised that they kill you, seeing what Shen Yaun went through, and realising that he was the problem but he can't do shit about it?

If it wasn't for Shen Yaun- Luo Binghe wouldn've became exactly like Shen Qingqiu.

Compared to other villains by MXTX Shen Qingqiu doesn't seem that bad comparing...

If you hate Shen Jiu thats fine, my whole post here isn't trying to twist the narrative and say he's just a misunderstood boi who needs protecting.

Bad things can happen to bad people and bringing up the truama that someone went through doesn't absolve them because it is their choices that shape them after, but only listening to truama for a 'good' person and picking and choosing to excuse one persons behaviour for truama then immedietly start victim blaming because they don't 'act' like a good person is even worse. You can still be empathetic towards a character but that doesn't mean you forgive the character/person and allow what they've done.

If anything with this take you can say that Yue Qingyuan is WORSE because he knew what Shen Jiu was going through and was complacent in his abuse and letting Shen jiu get away with [murder] If Shen Jiu wasn't in his right mind then Yue Ginqyuan was the real villain for letting Shen Jiu hurt others and take his problems out on everyone over some twisted sense of guilt.

The dude who claimed to be a 'good guy' who had no history of truama akin to Shen Jiu ALLOWED disiples to get abused by someone in his care. He's an enabler.

Oh also the fact that Luo Binghe had to suck out and even disabled cultivators because of Xin Mo, his demon sword a fate WORSE than death makes me think how nit-picky some fans are to easily dismiss Shen Jiu but then be fine with other characters thats also morally grey and insidious.

The whole Point is that ALL of them have issues, and problematic because their human, their weak, a real person has ugly sides and most make mistakes that was paved with right intentions but does more harm.

A/n : Either way this is still fiction work and a character that doesn't exist, and remember this IS an analysis, and I never use this mentality against IRl people because people are not cartoons and no matter their reason outside of fiction I will judge them on current actions not on their past, if they share their past I'll admit they have a reason but still doesn't give them a free pass into being a dick.

[Also I am dyslexic so all the names for Scum Villain is a nightmare but I'm still figuring them out- If I spelt anything wrong thats my bad ^^;]

The positve progression of my mental health is amazing sometimes. Instead of self harming and getting violent when something bad happens I just cry rly hard for a while and then I go "wait, I can totally write a banger short story abt this".

Hello! i do not mind elaborating at all!, as an native fan its a topic i don't get to speak on much so thank you!, (sorry in advance this is going to be a bit long),

to start with coding bipoc as aliens, robots, and other non-human creatures is a complex issue of itself, and it can harm bipoc people as well as to uplift us depending on the writers intentions, background details and of era of times of equal right movements,

the topics of coding bipoc as not human vary from person to person on our own lived experiences as bipoc, and i personally have many issues with coding bipoc as not human which are solely negative, the few positve were expections due to bipoc making them or simply them having some sort of positive effect on me instead of bad,

back onto the feral optimus issue, here's my point of view as a native fan,

optimus has personally been this one sort of "oh he's like us" coded indigenous character who's in a good light for me,

unlike every other coded indigenous alien in media i saw as a kid,

optimus prime is one of the few indigenous coded characters in tf as a whole, the others aren't very good due to many factors (thunderclash, wheelie, the combiner team victorion) or vague enough white fans ignore them even being coded at all or other things (omega, beachcomber, ironhide)

for me optimus was the first indigenous coded not human native person i saw painted as a hero,

he was seen as good for having his indigenous culture, beliefs and morals, it wasn't something which was used as making him evil and bad in the story, like a lot of indigenus 'rep' i had to see as a kid

that feeling is something hard to explain but i hold onto with tight hands because of how good it did me as a kid,

its why i have such deep emotional pain with how he's treated by white fans in all stories but tfp was some of the worst of it i had to see by far,

tfp optimus is full on indigenous its in your face with each moment,

to his back story, internal struggles and complex views of him from other characters (with himself and jazz being the only ones with unbias views due to being bipoc themselves),

his very writing feels like the story of a native person who made it out of force assilation and regain his cluture only to be forced into fighting for his rights again against someone who was orignally an ally, trying to assilate him into another opressive ideal,

with this in mind it makes how the jokes of tfp optimus being feral started worst,

alpha trion saying he was diffcult, he didn't fall into order right for his time not around Iacon culture, this is painted as a bad view to have by optimus,

yet the fans took this to mean because optimus lived a tribal life before that he was wild, he ran on all fours, sleep like an animal and needed to be saved from such a wild life to name some of the worst (others include nsfw and its gross),

there's a ton of aus and fanart, fics treating being indigenous to mean, he needs to be fixed, or ones painting being indigenous struggles as not real or small world issues,

these views are deeply intergrated anti-indigenous beliefs, if you look up the wild/savage native man trope and you'll see many racist movies, novels and comics painting native men as beasts who steal white women from white men, or even kill them and r-pd them because indigenous people are as savage animals,

which fall in line with how feral optimus is made with white fans, they treat his indigenous coding as fetish and use him not being human to disconnect the racism in their fanon, aus, fanart and fics,

but that disconnect only exists for them, fans of color see it clear as it is, feral optimus as a fan idea exists because of people being racist to bipoc, the concept is racist rooted in racism and race fetish spaces,

feral optimus prime stuff as fan content has been dying since we've called out on it more but its shows up from time to time and the fandom still suffers from treating bipoc coded characters badly, as a whole which i'd to touch on at some point because people don't see the issue much, and the people we kind of keep to ourselves to keep a sense mind while playing robots ha….ha,

I hope this at least gives some light onto the issue and answers your questions! not many bring it up so being able to explain it was an experience!
