you start sobbing when the noise of the gunshot fills the air and your body’s pushed back by the impact. blood lands in your mouth, the thick, metallic liquid pooling on your tongue as you refuse to swallow. james and sirius let him fall to the floor as they shake off their hands and sirius runs a hand through his silky hair, eyes trailing down your blood splattered body. remus takes the gun from you before you can drop it, shoving it into his waistband as he kisses you, forcing you to swallow the mixture of your bloody spit and his.

you bury your head into james’ chest as he approaches you and hugs you, praising you as sirius settles behind you, pushing your hair to the side so he can kiss your neck, lapping at the blood drying there. james’ hands join sirius’ in roaming your body as he tilts his head to kiss you, rough fingers tickling your waist as he lifts your shirt.

“y’did so well, baby,” remus murmurs beside you, “want us to show you how well?”

I unfortunately picked up Bravely Default 2 again (I bought it back when it released) and then started over since I last played it in June 2021. And. You know what. I like these silly beans. And then I saw concept art for Dag's expressions and I am not the same. Why did they decide to give him huge fangs in it.

(also I'm trying so hard to avoid spoilers less for plot but more for characters so if you know anything that happens to characters shhhhh. also the expression concept is below the read more so you can see what I mean.)

Brit is really Cecil's closest friend

These two are my BroTP. Like from what's shown in the comics, these two are fairly close. Given that Brit has been shown numerous times, along with his sister, calling Cecil old man. And teasing him. I really hope they include Brit and his sister. Like please, give me.

Now without further ado, the headcannons:

When Cecil joined the GDA, he was a cocky little shit. As a new recruit he was probably thinking high and mighty of himself until a drill Sergent, or better yet Brit, kicked his ass proving him wrong.

And when he first met Brit, Brit immediately thought, "This little shit is gonna get himself killed or his ass kicked."

Though, tbh I'm leaning more towards it being Brit who kicked his ass, which was a reality check for Cecil. Considering Brit can't be hurt.

Brit has saved Cecil’s ass on numerous occasions. Like, they've done some missions together, but they didn't really become friends until one mission where Brit saved his ass. Obviously pre-scar.

After that, Cecil began to tolerate Brit a lot more and their friendship grew.

Brit has both encouraged Cecil's urge to beat people who deserve it and had to hold him back when he gets out of hand.

Like when they'd go drinking, Brit is very much the designated adult. And has had to stop Cecil from starting something with some idiot who deserved to have their ass kicked.

There has probably been at least one incident where Brit had to keep Cecil from getting arrested.

But outside of that, Brit teased Cecil a lot. And obviously still does. With Brit messing with him often, like taunting him with the photos he took of Cecil reading a Playboy.

Brit still has those photos and continues to remind him about them to this day.

And there are plenty of embarrassing photos of Cecil that Brit still has. And Cecil has told Brit that if he shows anyone else, he will try and find a way to kick his ass. Or get back at him with the embarrassing photos he has of Brit.

But Brit is truly one of Cecil's closest friends. A confidant. Like, he considers several people friends, like Donald or Nolan. But they aren't as close to him as Brit is.

They are quite literally ride or die.

It's time for me to admit something.

I am still a bit confused about how back in the beginning of the Loki series Mobius is introduced to us as "special[ising] in the pursuit of dangerous Variants." But like. That doesn't seem to be a thing that the TVA really... do? They mostly seem to spot nexus events and pop to the new branch and prune it, bringing back the person who caused that nexus event to give them a show-trial and then prune them too.

There's no reason they can't do more than one thing, but what exactly are "dangerous variants"? From the TVA perspective they're all equally troublesome, and they'll be picked up as soon as they do something 'wrong', and the TVA/HWR don't actually care about the moral value or otherwise of that 'wrong' thing. Have I got that right?

They're chasing Sylvie but a) she's targeting the TVA themselves and b) she's got a means to travel from one timeline to another, which she got from the TVA and unless those get stolen a lot..

I'm willing to just roll with it anyway if it doesn't really fit but what am I missing here? EXPLAIN. (pls?)

#loki series #this has been bothering me for a while but nobody else ever asks about it so i assume i've just missed some crucial info here?#and so to me it's been like the Dangerous Variants stuff is a leftover from some earlier draft of the story?#one of what i consider the Fandom Misconceptions is the idea that the TVA/Mobius actually care that TVA!Loki's been a bad boy.#but they don't! he was *supposed* to be a bad boy so actually he wasn't doing anything wrong as they'd see it (until he ran off)#the guilt-tripping clip-show is just to break *this* Loki and tame him enough that they can use him to catch the *other* Loki #but then even with this i am at odds with much of the fandom? who do see mobius as trying to help Loki from the outset #but like... the TVA are not in the business of redemption arcs! what does mobius plan to do if they do catch the Bad Variant together?#what great reward lies in wait for the now-surplus Loki he brought in to catch the one they were actually having problems with?#because i suspect very much that the longer-term plan for TVA!Loki involved a nice euphemistic word like “pruning”#what's going on what am i missing why am i over here watching a series that seems to be far more fucked-up than other peoples?

A genuinely horrible thought just occurred to me. Would everyone please pray that the court does not order me to put my children in public school so that I can go get 'a real job'?

#So far every time I have asked that my husband be required to pay child support the response has been “Why aren't YOU working”#I am. And also homeschooling my eldest and taking care of my younger two. But it's not good enough.#I am making slightly less than minimum wage so it's not good enough.#(He is perfectly able-bodied and currently unemployed and is contributing precisely nothing to their upkeep.)#...I trust that God would not bring us this far just to abandon us now. But I genuinely do not see how He is going to do this.#From my limited human perspective it is impossible.#I don't know how I'm going to get all the bills paid this month. Or next month. Or the month after.#The roommate did not contribute to rent at all this month. I have rental insurance and rent and the Sam's membership and electricity #(why is the electricity so high. Why. I have cut down as much as I possibly can)#and phone and diapers and I'm sure there's something I'm forgetting there always is.#I'm trying so hard not to fret because I know we're not supposed to but I can't quite rid my body of tension and I'm trying not to rail at #my husband because I know I'm not supposed to but #...I'm scared.#I'm honestly not sure if this counts as #Screaming into the void #or #Nattering into the void #Edit: the roommate did help with rent yesterday but the website had not updated to reflect it. So... now it's double-paid?#I'm trying to see if they can cancel my portion so I have enough for the rest of my bills.
