Make a wish
You celebrated your birthday with Ghost and TaskForce and you wished for nothing but him.
"To love is nothing. To be loved is something. But to love and be loved, that’s everything."
After Captain Price and his team finished breakfast, you settled in the living room. You brought the tea trolley over and made them tea, handing a cup and saucer to everyone.
"Thank you, kid," Captain Price said as you served him.
You gave tea to Soap and Gaz too. "Ghost, you want tea?" you asked.
"Sure," he replied.
You handed him a cup as well. "Yer hoose is braw, and it's right lavish an aw." Soap admired.
"English Mctavish." Ghost facepalmed.
"I said your house is lavish and its nice." Soap explained.
"Thank you. My father built it. I'll give you a home tour once you guys finish your tea," you offered.
"She is a master in archery aye. She has horses too. She can shoot an arrow right at the aim while riding a horse," Ghost added.
"That is impressive, Nora," Gaz admired.
"Thanks. I will show you how I do it," you promised.
"Oh, I forgot," you said, suddenly remembering. "I did some shopping and the bags are still in the car. Let me fetch them."
As you made your way to your car, Ghost followed you. "The guns you bought, let me take them inside," he offered.
You opened the car doors and took out the bags while Ghost grabbed the gun cases. Together, you walked back inside.
You handed over the bags to each one of them. "Soap, this is for you. Kyle, that's one for you. This one's for Simon and Captain Price," you said, distributing the gifts.
"Thank you so much, lass," Soap said rummaging through the bag.
"Are ye pullin' ma leg? how much did ye spend on thae things?" He asked.
"Well! That is none of your business. Gifts don't come with a price tag." You folded your arms on your chest.
"Thanks, Nora, but you didn't have to put in so much effort," Kyle added, looking genuinely touched.
"Thanks, kid," Captain Price mentioned, nodding appreciatively.
"Don't mention it. I went shopping and thought, why not grab something for you guys?"
Ghost placed the gun cases down on the table. "She bought these too," he added.
Ghost opened the gun and sniper cases in front of everyone, revealing the impressive weapons inside.
"Whoa! A sniper! Are you kiddin' me?" Soap exclaimed, eyes wide with excitement. "Whit will ye dae wi' a sniper?"
"I like snipers, plus Ghost is here. He’ll teach me before he goes back. He taught me a couple of days ago," you explained with a grin.
"Wow! This is one o' the best snipers in the world," Soap said, admiring the sleek design. "Thank ye so much."
"Yeah, Ghost recommended it to me, so I got it," you said, glancing at Ghost.
Soap looked over at Ghost in disbelief. "Weel, LT himself disnae hae a sniper like this. It's much better than the ones he's got."
You smiled. "Well, now he has it."
Ghost shook his head. "No, I don't. And I don't want it anyway," he said quietly.
Soap chuckled. "Yer loss, LT. This is a beauty."
Ghost simply shrugged, the rare softness in his eyes replaced by his usual stoic expression.
"Why? It's a gift from me to you," you said, looking at Ghost.
"If you had mentioned it when you were buying it, I would have never let you get it in the first place," Ghost replied. "It's too expensive."
You shook your head. "Gifts don't come with a price tag. Captain Price, please make him understand."
"Take it, Ghost," Captain Price said, nodding.
"I can't, Price," Ghost insisted, shaking his head in disapproval.
"Okay, then throw it in the garbage, will you?" You snapped, shutting the sniper case with a bang. Your lower lip started quivering, and tears welled up in your eyes as you ran upstairs.
"You broke her heart, LT," Soap said, his voice filled with disappointment.
You closed the door and fell face-first onto the pillow, tears streaming down your face. It was so embarrassing and disappointing at the same time. Your sobs filled the room, muffled by the pillow.
A soft knock on the door interrupted your crying. "Open the door, love," Ghost said in a gentle tone.
For a moment, you hesitated, your emotions swirling inside you, but then you slowly got up and walked to the door.
You opened the door, still feeling annoyed and hurt. "What do you want?" You said, your voice tinged with frustration.
Ghost came inside and closed the door behind him. He walked over to your bed and sat down, he pat his thigh and opened his arms for you gesturing for you to come sit on his lap.
For a moment, you stood there, conflicted, but then you slowly walked over and allowed yourself to be enveloped in his comforting arms.
"You cryin', love?" Ghost asked softly.
You wiped your tears hastily. "No," you replied, trying to regain your composure.
"Hmm, I see," he said, his gaze understanding.
"Why did you embarrass me in front of your team?" You asked, your voice tinged with hurt.
"You got it for yourself, love. That's why," he replied simply.
"I can get another one for myself," You insisted.
"Okay, I'll take it, but only on one condition," he said.
"What condition exactly?" You asked, curious.
"You'll have to take mine. I'll teach you how to use it. It's smooth in my hands," he explained.
"Okay, deal!" You agreed, offering your hand to shake, but he surprised you by kissing your knuckles.
"Come, let's go downstairs," he said, taking your hand gently.
"Ghost!" You called out as he turned to leave.
He looked back at you. "Yes?"
"Do you still have your navy blue uniform, the one you wore when I saw you for the first time?" You asked, still holding his hand.
"Yes, but why do you ask?" he inquired.
"Will you wear it for me on my birthday? You look so good in that. I'll unwrap you as my gift," you said, giggling at the thought.
"Yeah, sure, but get ready to explain why I'm wearing it to my team, especially Price," he chuckled.
"Leave it to me. No worries," you assured him, and you made your way downstairs.
"Did you change your mind, LT?" Soap asked as you entered the room.
"Yes," Ghost replied, a hint of amusement in his voice.
"Good," Soap said, nodding in approval.
Meanwhile, you glanced into Captain Price's eyes, seeing a mixture of curiosity and intrigue reflecting back at you.
You led them to the back of the house where your horses were stabled.
"Meet Arther and Elfie," You introduced Soap to your beloved companions.
"Such bonnie horses," Soap remarked, admiring their beauty.
Next, you demonstrated your archery skills, drawing back the bowstring with precision and releasing it with practiced ease. Captain Price watched intently, a glint of admiration in his eyes.
"Remarkable," he exclaimed, genuinely impressed by your proficiency.
Ghost retrieved his sniper rifle and handed it to you. "Try it," he encouraged.
You hesitated, feeling the weight of the weapon in your hands. With his guidance, you took aim, your finger hovering over the trigger. The rifle trembled slightly as you pulled, but you managed to hit the target, albeit not as accurately as you had hoped.
"It's not easy," you admitted, feeling a twinge of disappointment.
"But you did well, considering," Ghost reassured you, his tone encouraging.
You smiled gratefully, grateful for his support.
As the evening descended, the cake was delivered, marking the beginning of your birthday celebration. Your house help had meticulously arranged all the decorations and table settings before bidding you farewell for the night.
Meanwhile, Captain Price took the opportunity to discuss their upcoming mission with his team, their voices low and serious as they strategized.
Feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness, you retreated to your room to change into your birthday dress. The corset that came with it proved to be a challenge as you struggled to zip it up on your own. Frustrated, you knocked on Ghost's door, hoping for assistance.
He opened the door, and your jaw dropped at the sight before you. He had changed into the navy blue uniform, looking incredibly attractive in it.
"What happened?" he asked, noticing your expression.
You entered his room and closed the door behind you. "Simon, can you please help me zip my dress? I can't reach it," you requested, feeling a rush of embarrassment.
Standing in front of the mirror, you were almost ready, the dress clinging to your figure. He stepped behind you, his presence towering over yours. The corset accentuated your petite frame, making you feel even smaller in comparison.
His gloved hand brushed against the bare skin of your back as he took hold of the zipper, and you sucked in a breath at the unexpected sensation. Your heart raced as you felt the warmth of his touch, his closeness sending shivers down your spine.
He zipped up your dress smoothly, his voice breaking the silence. "You're good now," he said softly, his words lingering in the air between you.
"Thank you," you murmured gratefully as you turned around. He put his index finger beneath your chin and tilted your head up meeting his gaze.
"Ready to be be my good girl tonight. Will ya?" His masked lips touched your cheek.
You blushed and ran towards the door. Standing at the doorway you peaked a last glance at him. You exited Ghost's room and returned to your own.
As Ghost stepped out of his room, he encountered Soap making his way upstairs.
"Going on a mission, LT?" Soap teased, noting Ghost's uniform.
"Yes, birthday mission," Ghost quipped in response.
"Seriously! Why are you wearing your uniform?" Soap inquired, his curiosity piqued.
"Because she asked me to wear it," Ghost explained simply.
"Hmm, I see. She likes you in it," Soap remarked before continuing downstairs, leaving Ghost to ponder his words.
They all waited for you downstairs, their anticipation palpable in the air. With a final glance in the mirror, you made sure everything was perfect before slipping on your heels and descending the staircase.
As you reached the bottom step, you were greeted by their warm smiles.
"Here she is," Captain Price announced, his voice carrying a note of pride.
"Wow! Lass, you're looking so beautiful," Soap complimented, his eyes twinkling with admiration.
"Thank you," you replied, feeling a blush creeping up your cheeks at his kind words.
You couldn't help but notice Ghost's gaze fixed on you, practically staring. His intense scrutiny made you feel vulnerable, as if he was seeing right through you. Yet, amidst the intensity, there was a glimmer of admiration in his stare, a silent acknowledgment that spoke volumes.
"Make a wish, lass," Soap chuckled, gesturing towards the candles on the cake.
Closing your eyes, you made a silent wish. A wish for Simon to be yours forever, for his safety, and for him to return to you unscathed from every mission.
With a deep breath, you blew out the candles, the room erupting into cheers and the chorus of "Happy Birthday."
As you opened your eyes, you felt a rush of warmth and gratitude wash over you. It truly was the best day of your life after your father's death.
Captain Price stepped forward, presenting you with a small box. You opened it eagerly to reveal a beautiful, delicate metallic quartz watch nestled inside.
"Thank you! It's so precious," you exclaimed, touched by the thoughtful gift.
As you all enjoyed the cake and then indulged in dinner, Captain Price suddenly cleared his throat, directing his attention to Ghost. "Simon, why are you wearing your uniform?" His question caught Ghost off guard, but before he could respond, you jumped in to explain.
"Actually, I asked him to wear that for my birthday. I was curious to see him in uniform," you said, offering Ghost a reassuring smile. His eyes crinkled from behind the balaclava he was wearing, a silent acknowledgment of his amusement.
"Alright, gentlemen, want something to drink? Please, help yourselves," you announced, rising from your seat and making your way to the bar. You took out the glasses, giving them a moment to process the exchange.
Soap and Ghost then took the dishes to the kitchen while the rest of you settled in the garden, enjoying the pleasant evening. Soap, with his characteristic sense of humor, regaled you all with his silly jokes, eliciting laughter from all of you.
"Hey LT, what has five toes and is not your foot?" Soap said.
"What?" Ghost asked.
"My foot!." Soap said and burst out laughing.
You couldn't control your laughter too. Soap was so funny.
"Your turn LT". Soap pointed towards Ghost.
"What do we call the fish who wears a bow tie?" Ghost asked.
You looked at each other's faces.
"Sofishticated." Ghost said.
Nobody laughed.
"What? Wasn't it funny?" Ghost said.
He was met with silence.
As the night grew late, you found myself sitting beside Ghost. His hand resting on the small of your back while everybody was busy talking.
He turned to look at you. Your blue eyes met with his caramel ones.
You stood up and went to stand at the door, feeling a wave of exhaustion wash over you.
"Aye! Come join us," Ghost called out, noticing your presence.
"No, you enjoy yourself. I'm going to bed now," you replied, turning around to head upstairs.
But before you could take another step, Ghost approached you and grabbed your wrist. "Hi, Lieutenant," you teased, your voice soft and playful.
You placed your hands on his chest, tilting your chin up to look at him. "Hell, if you put a bullet through my heart, I will spare you my life," you retorted, a smile playing on your lips.
You took the whiskey glass from his hand and placed your lips at the same spot he drank from and chug it at once.
You turned to go upstairs, but Ghost surprised you by grabbing you around the waist, causing you to squeak in surprise.
"Is everything alright there?" Captain Price's voice rang out from the garden.
"Yes, everything is fine, Price," Ghost replied calmly, his gaze locked on yours.
With a swift motion, Ghost lifted you into his arms and carried you upstairs, his strength both surprising and comforting.
"Your room or mine?" he asked with a playful smirk, his eyes dancing with mischief.

True Love's Kiss (Without the Curse)
Malleus Draconia, Jack Howl, Rook Hunt, Idia Shroud x G/N Yuu <3
Word Count: 2.6k | ~650 per part
(Malleus' part lowkey is kinda angsty but nothing too bad, really hope they're all in character and if not I'm so sorry TwT)
Tumblr media
It was rare that Malleus ever slept. It was even rarer for Yuu to be witness to it, because after all their time together, the prince had become accustomed to watching over the prefect while they rested instead. But there were rare days where this was the opposite, and the human instead watched over the fae.
Fae were beautiful, Yuu found themself musing, as they took in Malleus’ sleeping face. He especially was extraordinary, with eyes that flickered and blazed and burned the most beautiful shade of green. It almost made their heart cry at how they couldn’t see his eyes then, when he rested and they had to be shut, but they supposed that was alright. They could still see his elegant horns that gave away his draconic heritage, and the pointed ears that hinted at his long, long lifespan.
That was one of the reasons he rarely slept around them, Yuu knew. Malleus wanted to spend as many moments as possible with them. In the grand scheme of everything, they knew that what time they had to offer with him was naught but a drop in the sea of his life. Neither of them pretended that they didn’t know this, and yet, they never spoke of it. They countered it with little things, by taking walks together every night, or staying together even when one slept.
Yuu wondered what dreams he had. They wondered if he had dreams as vibrant as theirs, of histories that did not seem to be correct. They wondered if he could even dream, when he could govern everyone else’s to the point that they could become a reality he could shape. If Malleus could do that with others’ dreams, Yuu could not begin to imagine what he could do with his own.
And yet, they still wondered. Maybe he got lost in them too, like they did. Maybe when his eyes flickered underneath his eyelids, beautiful lashes fluttering, Malleus forgot that what worlds his mind constructed weren’t reality. Maybe they were nice dreams. Yuu hoped they were.
Just in case they weren’t, they stood from the place on the couch in his room they had been sitting on, making their way around his bed as quietly as they could. Just in case they weren’t, Yuu watched him for a moment longer, trying to study Malleus’ face in case they saw this again and could find the signs. Just in case they weren’t, they took his hand, ever-so-gently.
Softly, carefully, lovingly, Yuu leaned down, coming close enough so that they could hear the feather-soft breaths Malleus took. Like a timeless incantation, an ancient spell, they whispered his name. And then they pressed their lips against his, so terribly filled with adoration that they thought their heart might nearly burst.
It did not, thankfully. When Yuu pulled away, they watched as the fae’s eyes opened slowly. They saw the exact moment that Malleus saw them, making those beautiful rings of flame crackle and warm and blaze all at once. “Did you dream?” they asked, finding that their curiosity was getting the better of them.
Malleus smiled, and Yuu’s heart nearly burst a second time. His smile was the most ethereal thing they had ever seen. “I did,” he answered, finding that his hand was in theirs and holding it tighter. “I dreamt of you and I, in a field of flowers as the sun set.”
Yuu couldn’t help but smile back, when their heart didn’t break again to instead swell with warmth. “That sounds beautiful.”
He hummed, and the sound revealed how sleep still had the faintest of holds on him. “You are much more beautiful than any dream of you would be,” Malleus whispered, bringing their joint hands up to his lips to kiss. “Thank you for waking me so that I may behold the real you.”

Jack worked hard. Everyone knew this, from how he woke up hours earlier than his dorm to train more even before they did as a whole. He didn’t slack on his studies either, much to his professors’ appreciation. And for all the effort he put in, he knew where his limits were. It was one of the reasons why Yuu admired him so much, even when they were long into knowing each other.
He woke up much earlier than Yuu, to the point that they almost had no hopes of waking up before him. However, rare were the nights that he went to bed after them, thanks to his equally early bedtime. It almost terrified Yuu sometimes, how he could stay so devoted and consistent to his schedule. With all the hectic things Night Raven College threw at them, the prefect had a less-than-stellar sleep routine more often than not. Jack, in a way that just made Yuu’s heart melt all over again, tried to help them as much as he could to fix it, but it too failed more often than not.
The one good part about it, Yuu supposed, was that it could lead to times like now. Jack had come over to Ramshackle to study with them, since they had a test coming up in their Defensive Magic class. Yuu couldn’t cast spells, but that didn’t stop them from having to do the same written test as the rest of the class. For the practical part of the exam, they had to rely on Grim and hope that he did well enough to pass the two of them. Jack, thankfully, was making sure that the direbeast didn’t leave that up to chance.
A few hours into their study session for the written test, however, Yuu had found that they were more amused by watching Jack gradually become sleepier and sleepier. It was a mixture of adorable and endearing, the way that he had to keep jerking his head back up the moment it started to fall to instead answer one of Yuu’s questions. Maybe they were being a little mean, the way that they were purposefully asking more than they had to in order to make it last for longer.
Yuu had been smart enough to at least ask the more difficult questions in the beginning of their time together, so now they were more messing with Jack than anything at this point. They suppressed a giggle when they looked up from their textbook to see his eyes half-lidded and still rapidly drooping. “Flora’s weak against water-defensive spells, right?” they asked.
Jack hummed. Yuu couldn’t stop the breathy laugh that escaped them when his eyes finally closed, watching at how that made his ears swivel to focus on the sound. But he didn’t react to it any other way, as his head dipped to his chest. “Jack,” they called softly, when he didn’t lift it up again.
He’d finally fallen asleep, Yuu realized, when they said his name two more times with no response. Maybe that was for the best, if they were being nice. But Yuu wouldn’t be a Night Raven College student if they weren’t a little cruel, so instead, they leaned over. Jack was so tired that he almost didn’t react to when they kissed his cheek, which made them smile all the more.
“Jack,” they tried, one more time. “Don’t sleep like that.”
With two more kisses to his cheek, his eyes finally fluttered. One more to his forehead, and they opened, as he raised his chin back up with a small grunt. “Sorry.” It took almost all his strength to say just that one word, Yuu saw, and they couldn’t help but giggle.
“Let’s go to bed,” they offered, with one last brush of their lips against his temple. Jack hummed again.
Tumblr media
Yuu and Rook, in a way that would hopefully keep the latter from actually hunting the former, had come up with a strange little game the two of them would play. It had started so long ago that Yuu couldn’t even remember the exact day, and became such a habit that they didn’t want to stop, either.
Whenever one of the two of them found the other sleeping, they would try to wake them up in the way that all the timeless legends did: with the hero giving the rescued the gentlest of kisses. More often than not, Yuu was woken up by the soft brush of Rook’s lips against their brow, or their cheek, or even their hands. More often than not, Grim woke up shortly after Yuu to be scared into having a small heart attack at the sudden presence of the hunter.
At this point, Yuu couldn’t even begin to count how many times Rook had woken them up. On the other hand, they couldn’t even fill one listing the times that they had woken up Rook. Even when he spent the night at Ramshackle, or they had a sleepover at Pomefiore, they always fell asleep before he did and woke up to see him already awake. Yuu was beginning to think that he just didn’t sleep.
Until, one day, when they had been strolling through the forest, it happened.
Yuu didn’t know who or what was on their side, but everything had to have aligned perfectly for this to happen. They walked around a tree only to nearly jump when they caught a glimpse of his golden hair catching the sunlight on the other side, hat removed to better let him sleep.
He was beautiful asleep, just as he was when his emerald eyes were open. Yuu immediately tried to make every movement, every individual breath become as silent as possible, if only just to take in this rare sight before it disappeared once more. For all the time that Rook had spent praising their resting expression, Yuu had half a mind to do that to him, too.
Carefully, they took another step closer. When that didn’t make so much as an eyelash quiver, Yuu took another, slowly but surely getting closer to the hunter. How funny it was, they thought, that their roles had finally been reversed.
Somehow, they had gotten close enough to Rook to be able to touch him, and he had still not awoken. Yuu breathed a silent thanks to all of the Seven, alongside whatever deities and lucky stars they’d been blessed with as just as tentatively, they crouched next to him. Closer now, Yuu could see all the better just how stunning Rook was. For all the words he said admiring beauty, Yuu decided there and then that they would say the same number about Rook.
They leaned forward, softing pressing their lips against the apple of his cheek. And the moment they did, they felt the way that Rook had started to smile, unable to hold it back any longer. “Beautiful, Trickster. That was merveilleux.” His smile turned a little teasing, a little predatory as his eyes glinted. “It will take more than that to sneak up on me, however.”
“I knew it.” Yuu sighed, making Rook laugh as they unceremoniously plopped down next to him. “Do you have any tips?” they couldn’t help but ask, as one of Rook’s arms came to wrap around them.
“A hunter cannot reveal all his methods, mon coeur. You’ll simply have to practice.” Yuu didn’t know what to think, when they were met with another one of his beautiful smiles when they frowned up at him. At least they won a little, though. They won a little more when they kissed his cheek again, making a shade of pretty pink dust his face.

It was almost impossible to find someone who took gaming any more seriously than Idia Shroud. That was why, at the same time, it was almost impossible to find someone who slept less than him, be they fae or human. Most times, Yuu would try to work with Ortho to make sure he actually took care of himself and actually slept instead of just chug energy drinks like they were water.
Tonight was not one of those nights, however, because they had been challenged to a bet. Idia, with the cocky smirk that almost seemed to be exclusively for them in the safe confines of his room, had gloated that there was no one who could beat his times in a racing game. Yuu, considering themself something of a rising gamer ever since becoming the Ignihyde housewarden’s go-to player two, thought that maybe it would be something if they beat him at his own game.
Yuu had known it was going to be hard, but not as hard as it was. The moment Idia had heard that, he’d held nothing back, getting a time even better than what was already stored on his console to nearly make Yuu just give up right then and there. But if nothing else, Yuu was resilient, and they went right to trying to getting the gold ranking and knocking Idia’s character down a peg.
Once they got going, Yuu had no idea how much time passed. It was long enough to make Idia drop out and go finish his dailies on all his other games before midnight passed, at the very least. After that, Yuu had thought that he would have joined them again, but they stayed the only player.
After their latest attempt ended in another failure—Idia was still faster by a whopping 3.20 seconds—Yuu let their hands drop into their lap, sighing as they let their head fall back to hit the mattress from where they’d been stationed on a bean bag on the floor. “Idia, where was that one glitch again?” they asked, finally getting the resolve to slide their eyes over to him to see the told-you-so grin he’d give them—
—only to be met with nothing but closed eyes and a peaceful expression, as his head rested on folded arms. He’d been laying on his stomach on his bed in order to still see the screen while he’d been using his phone, but now even that device was left discarded to the side, as he took soft, even breaths while the screen dimmed and finally shut off from inactivity.
Maybe it was a little too late, or maybe Yuu had spent a bit too much time gaming, but this felt like a scene straight out of one of the dating sims they’d played with him. Looking over to see that Idia’s face was so close to them, so close that they could kiss him if they just moved so much as another few centimeters. They could feel their heart skip a beat, as his hair flickered and waved and surrounded him like a halo.
Idia Shroud was gorgeous, Yuu found themself realizing again. It made them smile softly to see that he had fallen asleep, though it turned a little guilty at the way that they’d kept him up late enough to make him finally just shut down. In a way they hoped would be a good enough apology, they gently leaned forward, pressing a kiss to the bridge of his nose.
That made him flinch slightly, humming ever-so-softly as his brow furrowed. “Idia,” Yuu called gently, making him hum again. They brushed their lips against his forehead now, as his hair flickered when he finally cracked open an eye. “I can’t get it.”
It was because his hair didn’t immediately turn pink from their proximity did Yuu know that Idia was still barely awake. He shifted a little, nuzzling deeper into his arms as his eye threatened to close again. “‘Cause you need the cheat code,” he muttered, words half-slurred. “I’ll tell you it in a sec. Need to…restore mana…first.”
Yuu almost laughed. “Mood.” But then they yawned instead, and decided that maybe their bar was getting a little low, too. They could take a second to refill before they attempted another try.

She has always been the ideal daughter and the ideal sister, treating her family with nothing but love and respect. She wished she could say the same for her brother, Dudley. Now Dudley was the most typical spoiled brat there was, he treated his parents like they were made of money and his sister as a servant. When it came to their cousin however, the poor boy was stuck under the stairs, being left out of many things because of who his parents were. Now she didn’t understand what was wrong with the boy, she was close with the boy, he was her best friend and she was his.
They were close in age which aided in their closeness, her parents disliking her being so close with the boy but not saying anything in fear of upsetting their beloved daughter. The Dursley girl, who had a heart of gold, used any allowance given to her to get new things for her cousin who was stuck under the stairs. She shared whatever she could with him, whether it be food, clothes, books or toys. On her birthdays, she chose to celebrate with Harry, always making sure she included the boy in her special day.
On Harry’s birthdays, she was always the only one to get the boy a present, she would save up her allowance as well as any birthday money to get the boy new clothes, toys, books, games and whatever else she could think of. She never understood the animosity between her parents and her cousin but she never questioned it in fear of being yelled at by them.
It was Dudley’s birthday, he had requested they go to the zoo for the day. It was a nice change of pace, actually doing something everyone enjoyed on the spoiled boy’s birthday. She was squished in the backseat between her brother and her cousin, hating every second of it because Dudley kept trying to pull Harry’s hair and pulled hers on one too many occasions. “Stop pulling my hair! Mum, tell him to stop!” The girl complained to her mother.
“Leave your sister alone, Dudley. This is supposed to be a happy day, not one filled with complaining,” Her mother lightly scolded. The long necked woman’s last comment hurt her daughter but that’s what always happened when she would complain about Dudley.
As Vernon parked the car and the family walked into the zoo, Dudley ran ahead trying to pull his sister along with him. She pulled her arm away from him and stuck by Harry’s side instead. The day at the zoo was rather uneventful until the end of the trip when Dudley somehow got stuck in a snake enclosure and the snake got out. However poor Harry was locked into his ‘room’ under the stairs for a week. She would sneak the boy out at night so he could eat something and actually move around.
Now it was a couple weeks later, close to Harry’s birthday, she had already gotten him his present which was clothes that actually fit him. Harry was bringing in the post, handing his cousin a letter addressed to her, keeping a letter for himself and handing his uncle the rest of the post. “Harry, give me your letter, they’re gonna take it, we can open them later,” She whispered to her cousin. He handed over his letter and she hid them in the cupboard under the stairs.
Later on that night, she snuck downstairs and unlocked Harry’s door to find the boy awake, holding their letters in his hand. “You first,” Harry said, putting her letter in her open hand. She let out a breath as she broke the seal and pulled the letter out.
“Dear Miss Dursley, We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed the list of supplies needed for the school year. The term starts on September 1st, we await your owl until July 31st. Sincerely Minerva McGonagall, Deputy Headmistress,” She read the letter aloud, “I’m a witch? They’re real?”
Harry left her questions unanswered as he opened his own letter, “My letter says the same. I don’t understand.”
The two of them stayed up the rest of the night, rereading their letters over and over. They stayed awake until the sun rose and Petunia began to walk down the stairs. “What are you doing awake? It’s a Saturday, you usually sleep in,” Her mother questioned.
“Harry and I got the same letter in the post yesterday. It was strange, it was from a school called Hogwarts,” She explained to her mother.
“Vernon! Get up!” The woman shouted to her husband. The fat man came down the stairs at a snail’s pace.
“What is it, Petunia?” The woman ripped the two letters from her daughter’s hand, leaving a large paper cut on her palm as her mother handed the letters over. Her father’s face paled, ripping up the letters.
As the days flew by, the letters flew in by the hundreds, both of them receiving letter after letter until Vernon decided to take them to a remote island to get away from the letters. However, instead, at midnight on Harry’s birthday, a large man had knocked the door down looking for the two. Standing up to the adults and telling them that the two children’s names had been put down since they had been born. The girl was surprised to hear about how her aunt had actually died and about Hogwarts itself. Right then, Hagrid, who had finally introduced himself, brought the two to London.
They had traveled to a place called Diagon Alley, where Hagrid brought the two to the wizards bank to fetch money out of Harry’s vault before starting their shopping spree. They went to all of the shops, the last stop being Ollivanders to get their wands. Harry went first, trying out two other wands before finding his match. It was a little harder for her, trying five wands before she finally found her match.
Hagrid knocked on the window, holding up a snow owl in a cage and a calico cat in another. They ended their day getting something to eat at the leaky cauldron, Hagrid finally telling Harry how he got his scar, how Voldemort killed his parents and tried to kill him even though he was a baby. That night, neither of them could sleep, staying up all night going through their lists and triple checking they got everything they needed for the first term. The next morning was the day they actually got to see the cryptic school.
Hagrid only gave them their tickets when they got to King Cross Station, telling them to follow their tickets before disappearing. The two cousins tried to find the platform and resorted to asking a guard at the station who was no help at all. That’s when they saw a family of redheads talking about muggles. They looked at each other with a nervous smile before choosing to approach the older woman.
“Excuse me, how do you get…” Harry wasn’t sure how to ask his question but the woman was quick to understand.
“Onto the platform, of course dear. It’s Ron’s first time as well. All you have to do is walk straight at the wall between platforms nine and ten. If you’re a bit nervous, it’s better to do it at a bit of a run,” The woman explained to the two. So together they jogged at the wall as the woman instructed, finding their way to the platform.
“Woah,” Y/N said in awe, taking in her surroundings.
They were able to find a compartment containing the same boy they met earlier, asking if it was okay if they sat with him. “I’m Ron Weasley,” The boy introduced himself.
“Y/N Dursley and Harry Potter,” Her cousin introduced them both.
“You’re Harry Potter! Do you have the…you know?”
“The scar?” The girl finished his question for him. The redhead nodded and Harry lifted his hair to reveal the lighting bolt scar on his forehead. The three bonded on the train ride to Hogwarts, getting all of the sweets from the trolley and meeting yet another first year by the name of Hermione Granger. She was looking for a boy’s toad before instructing the three to change into their robes. They all did and just as they finished the train had stopped. All of the students had filed out of the train, meeting up with Hagrid who led them to the boats that would take them to the castle.
The view was breathtaking, the only lights coming from the lanterns on the boats and the castle itself. It was like a dream, she had to pinch herself to convince herself she wasn’t actually dreaming. When she winced she deduced that she wasn’t dreaming and this was actually real. Hagrid led them to one of the professors, the same professor who signed their letters. She was leading them up to the Great Hall for the sorting.
“There are four houses, they will be your home for the next few months until summer, they are Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin,” The professor explained to the group.
“There's not a witch or wizard from Slytherin that hasn’t gone bad,” Ron whispered to the cousins.
“So it’s true what they say, Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts. Draco, Draco Malfoy. This is Crabbe, Goyle and Theodore Nott,” A blond boy interrupted from behind them.
Harry and Draco had a quite heated exchange before the lot of them finally followed the older professor into the Great Hall. The sorting ceremony dragged, Harry getting placed into Gryffindor along with Herminone, Ron and the boy who lost his toad, Neville.
“Y/N Dursley,” The professor called. She walked up to the stool on shaky legs before sitting, the hat getting placed onto her head. The hat coming to life spooked her a bit but she was able to relax for a second.
“Hmmm, you’re a tough one to place, you’re intelligent, brave, loyal and clever. Big traits of all four houses, but where to put you? You would do great things in all houses…Ahhh… I got it, better be…”

YOU WONDER IF YOU WERE BEING TOO OBVIOUS. It was a typical day at Jujutsu High, filled with training, missions, and the occasional life-or-death encounter. But for you, there was something—or rather, someone—who made every day feel like high school all over again. That someone was Itadori Yuuji.
Every time you looked at Itadori Yuuji, you felt a flutter in your chest, a sense of nervous excitement that reminded you of teenage crushes and awkward confessions. Today was no different. As you sat in the training yard, pretending to read a book, you couldn't help but sneak glances at him. He was sparring with Megumi, his movements fluid and powerful, each strike and dodge a testament to his strength and agility. But what caught your attention even more were the brief moments when his gaze would flicker towards you.
Your heart would skip a beat each time, and you'd quickly hide behind your book, cheeks burning with embarrassment. It was almost comical how transparent you felt, as if everyone around could see the obvious attraction you had for Yuuji. The pages of your book blurred as you tried to focus on the words, but your mind kept drifting back to the way Yuuji moved, the determination in his eyes, and the infectious smile that seemed to light up the entire training yard.
The day carried on with its usual routines, but you found it increasingly difficult to concentrate. Your thoughts were consumed by Yuuji, his laughter echoing in your ears, his encouraging words to Megumi resonating within you. It was as if he had a gravitational pull that you couldn't escape, drawing you in closer with each passing moment.
"I feel so high school every time I look at you," you muttered to yourself, watching him through the pages. You sighed. “Why is he so pretty? It’s hard not to look. Not fair.”
During a break in the sparring session, Yuuji caught your eye and grinned, wiping sweat from his brow. Your heart fluttered wildly, and you ducked your head, pretending to be engrossed in your book. But the heat in your cheeks betrayed you, and you knew your efforts to remain inconspicuous were futile.
"Hey!" Yuuji called out, making his way over to you. Your heart pounded in your chest, the book trembling slightly in your hands. When you finally dared to look up, he was standing right in front of you, his smile warm and inviting.
"O-oh! Hi, Yuuji," you managed to say, your voice barely above a whisper. The proximity made your nerves dance on edge. You smiled tensely, hiding your book. “W-what’s up?”
"Taking a break from training?" he asked, his tone casual but his eyes searching yours with a curious intensity. You nodded, unable to form a coherent sentence as the fluttering in your chest intensified.
"Mind if I join you?" he asked, already sitting down beside you. The sudden closeness made your breath hitch, and you could feel the heat radiating from his body. You nodded again, feeling utterly helpless in the face of his charm.
For a moment, the world seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of you in the quiet corner of the training yard. The awkwardness of high school crushes came rushing back, but this time, there was an undeniable connection, a spark that made you hope that maybe, just maybe, Yuuji felt the same way.
As he settled in beside you, Yuuji turned his head and looked at you with that disarming smile. "You know….." he began, his voice soft but clear, "I've noticed you watching me during training."
Your cheeks burned hotter, and you stammered, "I-I was just... um, I mean..."
He chuckled, a warm, comforting sound that made your heart flutter even more. "It's okay!" he said, his gaze gentle and understanding. "I've been watching you too."
The admission hung in the air, a silent confession that seemed to bridge the gap between you. The flutter in your chest transformed into a steady, hopeful beat, and for the first time, you allowed yourself to believe that this nervous excitement might lead to something wonderful.
The awkward silence that followed his words felt charged with potential. You could see the sincerity in Yuuji's eyes, the same nervous anticipation mirrored in his expression. He shifted slightly, his shoulder brushing against yours, and the contact sent a jolt of electricity through you.
"So….." he began, his voice a little hesitant. He looked a bit flustered, ears slightly red. "Do you want to maybe... train together sometime? Or just hang out? I mean, if you're not too busy or anything."
Your heart soared at his suggestion, the idea of spending more time with him sending waves of happiness through you. "I'd like that." you replied, your voice steadier than before. "I'd like that a lot."
Yuuji's face lit up with a smile that made your heart skip a beat. "Great! How about after today's session? We could grab something to eat and then maybe... I don't know, just talk?"
"That sounds perfect," you said, unable to keep the smile off your face.
For the rest of the training session, it was hard to concentrate. Every glance Yuuji sent your way, every encouraging word, seemed to stoke the fire of excitement and anticipation. When the final sparring round ended, you quickly packed up your things, your mind racing with the possibilities of what the evening might bring.
Yuuji met you at the edge of the training yard, his eyes sparkling with the same excitement you felt. "Ready to go?" he asked, his voice full of warmth and eagerness.
"Absolutely," you replied, feeling a thrill of anticipation.
As you walked together through the campus of Jujutsu High, the conversation flowed easily, a mix of lighthearted banter and more serious topics. Yuuji's laughter was infectious, his stories captivating, and you found yourself opening up to him in ways you hadn't expected.
At a small, cozy café just outside the campus, you both ordered your favorite meals and settled into a booth. The atmosphere was relaxed, the soft hum of conversation around you creating a comfortable backdrop for your own exchange.
"So, tell me," Yuuji said, leaning forward with genuine interest, "What made you join Jujutsu High? What's your story?"
You hesitated for a moment, but the openness in his expression encouraged you to share. "Well, it's a bit complicated," you began, tracing the rim of your cup with your finger. "I lost someone important to me to a curse. It changed my life, and I realized I wanted to prevent that from happening to others. So, I trained and eventually found my way here."
Yuuji nodded, his eyes filled with understanding. "I get it. Losing someone can be... really hard. But it's amazing that you turned that pain into something positive. You're helping others, and that's really inspiring."
His words touched you deeply, and you felt a connection with him that went beyond mere attraction. "What about you?" you asked, wanting to know more about the person who had become such an important part of your daily thoughts.
Yuuji's face grew more serious, but he maintained his warm demeanor. "It's a long story, but basically, I got involved with curses because of something I found—a cursed object. It led me here, and now I'm doing my best to make a difference, just like you."
You nodded, feeling a deeper connection with him. "I'm really sorry about your loss, Yuuji," you said softly, your eyes meeting his. "It must have been so hard."
Yuuji's expression softened, and he gave you a reassuring smile. "It's okay," he said, his voice gentle. "I'm okay now because I've met people who make it better, who make me feel like I belong. People like you."
His words touched your heart, filling you with a warmth that seemed to chase away the lingering shadows of your own past. "Thank you, Yuuji," you said, your voice barely above a whisper. "That means a lot to me."
As the evening passed in a blur of conversation and laughter, you found yourselves delving into various topics, from favorite foods to shared interests. At one point, the conversation turned to the latest human earth work movie series, a topic that you both shared a passion for.
"I can't believe how intense the latest installment was. Like, it was just crazy!" you remarked, excitement lacing your voice. "The plot twists about the doctor had me on the edge of my seat the entire time."
Yuuji nodded in agreement, a grin spreading across his face. "I know, right? And the special effects were mind-blowing! It felt like I was right there in the middle of the action. It was crazy!”
As you walked side by side through the quiet campus, the night sky above you filled with twinkling stars, the bond between you felt stronger than ever. The shared moments of laughter that had brought you closer together made your heart beat over and over against your chest.. With each step, you felt a sense of warmth and contentment wash over you, grateful for what Yuuji brought into your life.
When you reached the dormitory entrance, Yuuji turned to you, his expression soft and earnest. "Tonight was really great, y’know!" he said. "I had a lot of fun, and I hope we can do this again."
"Me too," you replied, your heart full. "I'd love that."
He smiled, and for a moment, it seemed like he might say something more. But instead, he simply took your hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "Goodnight," he said softly, his voice filled with warmth.
"Goodnight, Yuuji," you replied, squeezing his hand back before reluctantly letting go.
You wanted to look back towards him.
And you were sure that he was going to.
You wanted to continue drinking what he thinks.
You wanted to be high on his jokes all damn night.
Back inside, you squealed behind your door, blushing.
You just felt so high school when you were with him.
Tumblr media
YOU WERE TOO EXHAUSTED TO MAKE A SOUND. It had been a couple of days later after you went out with him. It’s been a while since you had gone through a mission — so you feel like you’ve been out of practice. You can only think that’s the reason why you ended up feeling rusty as you fought the curses.
You could only sigh as you returned from a particularly grueling mission, each step heavier than the last. There was some regret on your part, you were sure. You thought you’d do better than last time. But you only feel defeated. Still, the job was done. You had to put everything that happened behind you now. You wouldn’t be able to move forward as a sorcerer if you keep thinking about it. Well, that’s what Gojo–sensei says.
Exhausted and bruised, you made your way back to Jujutsu High, longing for the familiar comfort of your room and the solace of a hot shower. Despite the fatigue that weighed heavily on your shoulders, a part of you couldn't help but hope for a glimpse of Itadori Yuuji. You had been texting each other these past few days while you were gone on back-to-back missions.
Those messages had kept your spirits up, knowing that someone was cheering you on, that someone was waiting for you to come home. His words of encouragement and light-hearted jokes had been a lifeline, making the long nights a little less lonely and the dangerous encounters a little less daunting. The thought of seeing him again was a bright spot in your otherwise wearied mind. It felt like the sun was finally returning in your life after days of only the cold dauntless gray clouds.
As you trudged down the corridor towards your quarters, you heard a familiar, cheerful voice calling your name. You turned to see Yuuji jogging towards you, his face lighting up with a broad smile as he approached. The sight of him was like a balm to your weary soul, and you felt a surge of warmth spread through you. You couldn’t help but smile back at him too as you waved at him.
"You're back!" Yuuji exclaimed, stopping just in front of you. You could see his energy peak as he smiled at you. You think you still had some time getting used to it. "How did the mission go? Are you okay? I hope you aren’t too sore, like you know!”
You managed a tired smile. "It was tough, but I'm fine. Just really tired."
Yuuji's expression softened with concern. "You look exhausted. Come on, let's get you back to your dorm room! You need rest!”
Without waiting for your reply, he gently took your arm, his touch firm yet gentle as he guided you towards your quarters. The warmth of his hand on your arm sent a comforting sensation coursing through you, like a reassuring anchor in the midst of a storm. It was a small gesture, but it spoke volumes, reminding you that you weren't alone in this.
As you walked together, his presence beside you was a steady source of support. The weight of exhaustion and the memories of the mission still lingered, but somehow, they felt lighter with him by your side. He kept the conversation light, his words a soothing balm to your weary soul.
Instead of probing into the details of the mission, he asked about your well-being in a way that allowed you to share as much or as little as you wanted. It was a subtle yet profound display of empathy, a testament to his understanding of what you needed in that moment.
With each step, you felt yourself relaxing, the tension in your shoulders easing as you basked in the warmth of his presence. It was as if the weight of the world had been lifted off your shoulders, replaced by a sense of calm and serenity. In that moment, surrounded by the comforting embrace of his care and concern, you felt safe, cherished, and deeply grateful for his unwavering support.
When you finally reached your room, Yuuji insisted on helping you inside. He looked around, spotting the kitchenette. "Why don't you sit down and rest? You must be hungry now, right? I'll make you something to eat."
You protested weakly, but the truth was that you were too tired to argue. With a grateful nod, you sank onto your bed, watching as Yuuji moved around your small kitchen with surprising ease. In no time, he had whipped up a simple but hearty meal. The aroma alone made your stomach rumble, and you realized just how hungry you were.
"Here you go," he said, bringing a steaming bowl of soba over to you. He grins at you with a thumbs up. "Eat up. It'll help you feel better."
As you took the bowl from him, your fingers naturally brushed against his in the process, sending a subtle yet unmistakable jolt of electricity coursing through you. It was a fleeting touch, but it sparked something deep within you, a warmth that spread from your fingertips to the very core of your being. The simple act of sharing a meal with Yuuji felt oddly intimate, like a silent affirmation of the bond that existed between you.
As you ate, Yuuji remained beside you, his presence a constant source of comfort and reassurance. He didn't need to say anything; his mere presence was enough to ease the fatigue and tension that had built up during the mission. With each passing moment, you found yourself relaxing more, the weight of the world gradually lifting from your shoulders.
Unbeknownst to you, Yuuji's gaze never wavered from you. You don’t think you’ll ever see something more profound than him looking at you. The way he looked at you was something you didn't notice, too lost in your own thoughts and the exhaustion that still lingered. But to him, it was everything.
His eyes spoke volumes, filled with a tenderness and depth of emotion that words could never fully capture. In that moment, as he watched you eat, he felt an overwhelming sense of love and contentment wash over him. It was the most tender expression he could offer, a silent declaration of his unwavering affection and devotion to you.
After you finished eating, your energy replenished and your spirits lifted, Yuuji reached for the bowl, his movements fluid and graceful. With a gentle touch, he took it from you, his fingers brushing against yours once again in a fleeting caress. It was a simple gesture, but it spoke volumes, conveying a sense of care and consideration that warmed your heart.
Setting the bowl aside, Yuuji turned back to you, his gaze soft and attentive. There was a quiet intensity in his eyes, a depth of emotion that made your breath catch in your throat. In that moment, as you looked into each other's eyes, it felt as though time stood still. There was a silent understanding between you, a bond that transcended words and spoke directly to the heart.
With a tender smile, Yuuji reached out to take your hand in his, his touch gentle yet reassuring. It was a gesture of comfort, a silent reminder that you were not alone. In his presence, you found solace, a sense of peace that washed over you like a gentle wave. Together, you sat in companionable silence, the warmth of his hand in yours a comforting anchor in the midst of the storm. But soon, Yuuji broke that silence.
"Feel better?" he asked, his bright eyes searching for yours, softness in his eyes.
You nodded, feeling a sense of contentment settle over you. "Yeah, much better. Thank you, Yuuji. You didn't have to do all this."
He smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I wanted to. Besides, I missed you."
His admission made your heart flutter. "I missed you too, you know." you confessed, your voice barely above a whisper.
Yuuji's expression grew with relief, his eyes locking onto yours with an intensity that made your breath catch.
"I'm glad you're back safe, hm?" he said softly. "I was worried about you. I kept texting, telling you what I’ve been doing while you were away. I don’t think they were getting through!”
You couldn’t help but giggle at him. He was adorable. “There just wasn’t any signal. You know, you could send the pictures again if you want.”
He grinned wider. “Would you like to see them?”
“Yeah, send them to me.” You nodded, smiling back just as widely. “I’ll look at them!”
For a moment, the exhaustion and bruises of the mission faded away, replaced by the warmth of his gaze and the sincerity in his voice. He kept telling you about places he ate along with Gojo–sensei, things he, Kugisaki and Fushiguro took pictures of. You felt comfort in knowing that his voice was always as tender and warm as a hug. The connection between you felt stronger than ever, and you knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, you would face them together.
"Thank you," you said again, reaching out to take his hand. "For everything."
Yuuji squeezed your hand gently, his touch reassuring and grounding. "Anytime," he replied, his voice full of promise.
As you sat together, the room filled with a comfortable silence, you realized that this was where you belonged. With Yuuji by your side, you felt ready to face whatever the future held, knowing that you had someone who cared for you deeply and would stand by you no matter what.
As the peaceful silence enveloped you both, Yuuji broke it with a soft chuckle. "You know," he began, his voice tinged with a hint of amusement, "Whenever I'm with you….I just feel like I'm young.”
You turned to him, giggling. "Younger days? Yuuji, we’re in high school!”
He nodded, a smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, exactly. Like it’s meant to be, y’know? It's like all the worries and responsibilities just melt away, and I'm free to be myself. Like we’re finally kids.”
You couldn't help but smile at his words, feeling a warmth spread through you at the thought of being able to bring Yuuji a sense of youthful joy and freedom. "I'm glad I can help you feel that way," you replied sincerely. "Being with you makes me feel the same, you know?”
You looked at him tenderly for a second.
The same shine in his eyes as he looked back.
You felt your lips echo into bright beaming laughter.
You both felt bittersweet sixteen all of a sudden.
But that was alright, when the two of you were together.
Tumblr media
IT HAD BEEN MONTHS SINCE YOU BOTH STARTED GOING OUT. As the days turned into weeks, your bond with Yuuji only seemed to grow stronger with each passing moment. Every date, every shared meal, every laughter-filled conversation only served to deepen the connection between you. It was as if you were caught in a whirlwind of emotions, unable to resist the magnetic pull drawing you closer together.
Yet, despite the undeniable chemistry between you, there remained an unspoken understanding that neither of you had ever explicitly labeled your relationship. It was a silent agreement that hung between you, a delicate balance that you were both hesitant to disrupt.
You often found yourself grappling with the question of how to broach the subject with Yuuji. Each time you considered bringing it up, the words seemed to stick in your throat, weighed down by the fear of ruining what you had. You feared the uncertainty that came with putting a label on things, worried that it might change the dynamic between you or worse, lead to disappointment.
But even as you wrestled with your doubts and insecurities, there was an undeniable truth that lingered in the back of your mind. You knew deep down that your feelings for Yuuji went beyond mere friendship, that there was something more between you that defied easy categorization.
So for now, you thought to yourself that you were content to savor the moments you shared, cherishing each stolen glance, each tender touch, each whispered conversation as if it were a precious gift. And as you navigated the uncharted waters of your relationship with Yuuji, you couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement mingled with apprehension, wondering what the future held for the two of you.
After an exhausting training session that left you feeling drained both physically and mentally, Yuuji's hopeful smile was like a beacon of light in the darkness. His eyes held a spark of excitement as he turned to you, the corners of his lips upturned in a gentle smile that melted away the fatigue weighing on your shoulders.
As you caught his gaze, a wave of warmth washed over you, chasing away the lingering remnants of exhaustion. It was moments like these that made all the hard work and effort worth it, knowing that you had someone like Yuuji by your side to share in both the triumphs and the challenges of your journey.
Despite the aches and pains that throbbed through your body, the promise of spending time with him filled you with renewed energy and anticipation. You couldn't help but return his smile, your heart skipping a beat at the thought of the memories you would create together.
In that fleeting moment, as you locked eyes with Yuuji, everything else faded away—the worries, the doubts, the uncertainties—all replaced by a sense of warmth and belonging. It was a reminder that no matter what trials lay ahead, as long as you had each other, it was going to be alright.
“Hey, pretty!” He walks up to you, smiling brightly like the sun. “You’re done practicing for the day?”
“Yeah.” You whisper, trying to calm down. He was so cute, you might lose it. “But I’m just going to clean up.”
“Oh? Let me help you!”
“Ah, Yuu, it’s fine—”
“Eh? But how could I let my pretty love just clean up by themselves like this?” He grins at you as he starts picking up the weapons you just trained with. “Let me help you, hm?”
As he busied himself with the task, you couldn't help but feel a swell of affection for him. It was the little things he did that made you fall for him more and more each day. The way he always looked out for you, ensuring you were okay after missions, the way he made you laugh with his silly jokes, and the way he was always there, offering support and comfort without expecting anything in return.
Yuuji looked up and caught you staring, his grin widening. "What are you thinking about?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.
You shook your head, a smile playing on your lips. "Just thinking about how lucky I am to have you," you admitted, feeling a warmth spread through your chest.
He laughed, a joyful sound that made your heart flutter. "I'm the lucky one," he said, walking over to you and gently taking your hand. "You've made everything so much better."
His words were simple, but they held a depth of emotion that touched you deeply. You squeezed his hand, feeling a surge of gratitude and love for the boy who had become your everything.
In the quiet moments like these, you often find yourself reflecting on how much Yuuji meant to you. He was the one who made you feel seen and cherished, the one who made even the hardest days bearable. His love was a constant, unwavering force that filled your life with joy and hope.
"Thank you, Yuu." you said softly, turning scarlet red."For everything."
He smiled, his eyes full of warmth and affection. "Always." he replied, pulling you into a gentle hug. "I'll always be here for you."
You’re still not used to calling Yuuji by your new nickname but your relationship leveled up to the comfort of him calling you with adorable nicknames. You think that his name was already beautiful as it was, but you found him pouting about it and you felt your heart break — you realized it was that important to him. You could only sigh as you remembered the day
After the exhausting days of missions and the comforting time spent together, you and Yuuji decided to hang out in his room, away from the stresses of the outside world. Yuuji had suggested playing video games, a perfect way to unwind and just enjoy each other's company.
His room was cozy, filled with the typical teenage clutter of books, clothes, and gaming gear. You both settled on the floor in front of his TV, controllers in hand, ready to dive into the latest game he had been raving about.
As the game loaded, Yuuji looked over at you with an eager grin. "Ready to get your butt kicked?" he teased, his eyes sparkling with playful competitiveness.
You rolled your eyes, laughing. "We'll see about that, Yuu."
The moment the nickname slipped out, you saw a change in his expression. His eyes widened slightly, and then his entire face lit up with the most genuine smile you'd ever seen. He looked at you with a mixture of surprise and happiness, almost like a golden retriever who had just been given a treat.
"Yuu?" he repeated, his voice filled with delight. "Did you just call me Yuu?"
You nodded, feeling a bit shy under his intense gaze. "Yeah, I did. It suits you, don't you think? Plus, it sounds like I'm saying you belong to me."
His cheeks flushed a light pink, and he looked down, rubbing the back of his neck. "I like it," he said softly. "No one's ever given me a nickname before. And if it means I belong to you, then I like it even more."
You felt your own cheeks heat up at his words, but there was a warmth spreading through your chest that made you smile. "Good. Because you do belong to me, Yuu."
He looked back up at you, his eyes filled with a tender emotion that made your heart skip a beat. "And you belong to me," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "We're in this together, right?"
You nodded, feeling a deep sense of connection and belonging with him. "Together," you agreed.
With that, the moment passed, and you both turned your attention back to the game. The playful banter resumed, with Yuuji occasionally glancing at you with that same joyful expression every time you called him by his new nickname. It was a small thing, but it meant the world to him.
As the game progressed, you found yourselves laughing, teasing, and enjoying each other's company in a way that felt so natural and right. The world outside might be full of dangers and challenges, but here, in this small room, with Yuuji by your side, everything felt perfect.
At one point, during a particularly intense part of the game, Yuuji turned to you with a playful smirk. "Come on, Yuu," you said, trying to keep up with him. "Stop hogging all the power-ups!"
He laughed, the sound warm and infectious. "Only if you can catch me, Yuu!" he challenged, making you laugh even harder.
Time seemed to fly by as you played, and before you knew it, hours had passed. When you finally put the controllers down, exhausted but happy, you leaned back against the bed, Yuuji flopping down beside you.
"That was fun," he said, his voice filled with contentment. "Thanks for spending time with me."
You turned to him, your heart swelling with affection. "Anytime, Yuu. Anytime."
He looked at you, his eyes shining with gratitude and something deeper. "You're the best," he said softly, reaching out to take your hand in his. "I'm so glad you're here with me."
You squeezed his hand, feeling the same way. "Me too, Yuu. Me too."
Once he carries your used weapons, he hums a light tune, moving with an ease that belied the intensity of your earlier training session. His cheerfulness was like a soothing balm, easing the weariness from your bones. You followed behind him, your heart swelling with affection and a touch of awe. How could he always be so full of life, so effortlessly kind and giving?
You could only sigh, a small smile tugging at your lips. You were too far gone when it came to Yuuji. His presence had become a constant source of joy and comfort in your life, and you found yourself longing for these moments more and more.
As you trailed behind him, your thoughts wandered. You thought about how Yuuji had always been there for you, how he had a way of making even the darkest days seem brighter. He had a unique ability to lift your spirits with just a smile or a kind word. His love and care were unwavering, and you often found yourself marveling at how deeply you had come to rely on him.
Reaching the storage area, Yuuji carefully placed the weapons in their designated spots. He turned to you, still humming, his eyes alight with that familiar spark of happiness. "There we go, all set!" he said, dusting off his hands. "Now, what do you want to do next?"
Before you could answer, he added with a grin, "Actually, I was thinking... Megumi, Nobara, and I were planning to watch a movie later. Want to join us? It'll be fun!"
His invitation caught you off guard, but the excitement in his eyes was contagious. "A movie?" you echoed, your curiosity piqued.
"Yeah!" Yuuji nodded enthusiastically. "We were thinking of watching something light and funny. It's been a while since we've all just hung out together and relaxed, you know? And honestly, it wouldn't be the same without you."
As Yuuji's words washed over you, a rush of excitement surged through your veins, making your heart skip a beat. His bright eyes sparkled with anticipation, and you couldn't help but feel a flutter of nerves as you met his gaze. He looked so cute, so effortlessly charming, and you couldn't help but be drawn to him like a moth to a flame.
"Movie night in your dorm room sounds perfect, Yuu!" you replied, a smile tugging at the corners of your lips as you tried to contain the joy bubbling within you. "I'd love to join! It sounds like a lot of fun."
As you spoke, you couldn't help but notice the way Yuuji's smile seemed to grow even brighter, as if your enthusiasm was contagious. It was moments like these that made you realize just how much you enjoyed his company, how much you looked forward to every opportunity to be near him.
Yuuji's face lit up with a wide smile, his eyes shining with delight. "Awesome! It'll be great to have you with us, pretty!”
"Do I need to bring anything tonight?" you asked, trying to hide the nervous flutter in your stomach behind a casual tone. “Food, drinks, DVDs? Anything?”
Yuuji shook his head, his smile never faltering. "No, just bring yourself!" he replied, his voice warm and inviting. It was a simple gesture, but it filled you with a sense of comfort and reassurance, as if he were silently assuring you that everything would be okay as long as you were together. “You’re more than enough! ‘on’t worry about it, pretty!”
You felt scarlet heat all across your cheeks. With a shy nod, you couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth at Yuuji's words. As you watched him, a wave of affection washed over you, filling your chest with a sense of contentment. Despite the uncertainty that lingered in the back of your mind, there was a part of you that felt at peace whenever you were with him.
As the evening approached and the sun dipped below the horizon, you found yourself eagerly anticipating the movie night ahead. With a quick goodbye to Kugisaki and Fushiguro, you made your way to Yuuji's dorm room, your heart racing with excitement.
You think you can’t really help it.
Yuuji just has a way with you, you know?
He’s too good for the world, too good for you.
How were you this lucky with him, to be with him?
As you stepped into Yuuji's dorm room, the warm glow of the evening light bathed the space in a soft, inviting ambiance. Yuuji stood by the entrance, a smile playing at the corners of his lips as his eyes met yours.
"Pretty, you made it!" he greeted, his voice filled with genuine excitement.
"Hey, Yuu!" you replied, feeling your ears turn red as you returned his smile. "Wouldn't miss it for the world."
His smile widened at your words, a warm glow spreading across his features. "Glad to hear it," he said, stepping aside to let you in.
The sight of him filled you with a sense of warmth and comfort, and you couldn't help but feel a rush of affection for him. It was moments like these, simple yet significant, that made you grateful for his presence in your life. As you settled into the room, you greeted Kugisaki and Fushiguro, who were already there, with warm smiles and friendly gestures.
"Hey, guys!" you exclaimed, waving at them.
“Glad you can make it!” Kugisaki waved back with a tender smile, her eyes twinkling with mischief as she welcomed you. She patted the seat next to her. “Come here!”
"Hey," Fushiguro greeted in his usual calm tone, nodding in acknowledgment.
Despite the differences in their reactions, you felt a sense of belonging among the three of them. It was moments like these, surrounded by friends who cared for you, that made you feel grateful for the bonds you had formed at Jujutsu High.
Later, as Yuuji made popcorn, Kugisaki approached you with a curious expression. "So, what's going on between you and Yuuji?" she asked bluntly, her tone betraying a hint of mischief.
“W-what do you mean?”
“Like, you know? You guys are dating!”
“Yeah, we are…”
“But what is it like? Are you labeling it soon?”
Your heart skipped a beat, caught off guard by her directness. You glanced nervously at Fushiguro, hoping he would intervene, but he remained silent, watching the exchange with a guarded expression. He was always hard to read, but you knew he seemed interested too.
"I-I don't know," you stammered, feeling a surge of panic rising within you. "We're just... friends, I guess."
Kugisaki raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced by your response. "Hmm, really?" she teased, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Because it seems like there's something more going on between you two."
You felt your cheeks flush with embarrassment, struggling to find the right words to explain the complexity of your relationship with Yuuji. Before you could respond, Fushiguro stepped in, his voice firm and authoritative.
"Kugisaki, that's enough," Fushiguro said sternly, his tone brooking no argument. "It's not your place to pry into other people's personal lives. Let them deal with that and tell us.”
"Sorry, sorry," Kugisaki muttered, holding her hands up in surrender. She looks at you apologetically, seeing how uncomfortable you are. "I’m sorry. I was just curious, you know? But I'll drop it."
“It’s okay.” You say, a small smile echoing at your lips as you three went back to watch. “Don’t worry about it.”
“Okay, I’m back!” Yuuji says, grinning as he holds the bowl of popcorn in one hand. “Butter flavor!”
“You’re so loud!” Kugisaki retorts back as she points to the television. “I’m trying to watch the movie!”
“But aren’t you the one screaming at me?” Yuuji furrows his brows back at her.
Fushiguro frowns slightly. “Can the two of you just shut up?”
As the movie resumed and the room filled with the sound of the film playing, you couldn't shake the lingering question in your mind. What were you and Yuuji together? Were you just friends, or was there something more between you? The uncertainty gnawed at you, leaving you restless despite the comforting familiarity of Yuuji's presence beside you.
Glancing sideways at him, you noticed the way the soft glow of the screen illuminated his features, casting shadows and highlights across his face. He seemed completely engrossed in the movie, his eyes focused on the screen, but you couldn't shake the feeling that he was aware of your internal turmoil.
Lost in your thoughts, you absently reached for a handful of popcorn, but your mind was elsewhere. The warmth of Yuuji's hand brushing against yours sent a jolt of electricity through you, pulling you back to the present moment. Turning to him, you caught his eye, and for a brief moment, you saw a flicker of understanding in his gaze.
It was as if he could sense the unspoken question hanging between you, the silent tension that lingered beneath the surface. And yet, neither of you dared to voice it aloud, afraid of what the answer might be. But as the movie played on and the night wore on, you couldn't help but wonder if maybe, just maybe, it was time to have that conversation.
The movie eventually ended, leaving the room bathed in the soft glow of the screen's credits. The lingering silence between you and Yuuji felt heavy, pregnant with unspoken words and unexplored emotions. You stole a glance at him, noticing the way his features softened in the dim light, his eyes reflecting a mixture of exhaustion and contentment.
Taking a deep breath, you summoned the courage to break the silence. "Yuu," you began, your voice barely above a whisper. "Can we talk for a moment?"
Yuuji turned to you, his expression curious but open. "Yeah, of course," he replied, his voice gentle and reassuring. "Got s’mthing on your mind?”
You hesitated for a moment, unsure of where to start. The words felt heavy on your tongue, each syllable weighted with the uncertainty of the unknown. But you knew that you couldn't continue to avoid the conversation any longer.
"I've been thinking..." you trailed off, searching for the right words. "About us. I mean, what are we, Yuu?"
Yuuji's brow furrowed slightly, his gaze thoughtful as he considered your question. "I've been wondering the same thing," he admitted, his voice tinged with vulnerability. "I mean, we spend so much time together, and we’re dating….. I care about you a lot."
A rush of relief washed over you at his words, knowing that you weren't alone in your confusion. "I care about you too, Yuu." you confessed, your heart swelling with emotion. "More than I can put into words."
Yuuji reached out, his hand finding yours in the darkness. "Then maybe we don't need to put a label on it," he suggested, his touch warm and reassuring. "Maybe we can just... see where things go, together. Enjoy each other, y’know? We’re still young and we are happy, so….”
With a soft smile, you nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I’d like that." you said, feeling a sense of warmth spread through you. “Very much, Yuu.”
As the tension lifted, the atmosphere in the room became lighter, filled with a sense of newfound understanding and acceptance. You shifted closer to Yuuji, relishing the comforting warmth of his presence as you leaned against him.
"Hey, do you remember that time we first met?" Yuuji asked suddenly, breaking the silence with a playful glint in his eye.
A fond smile tugged at your lips as you recalled the memory. "How could I forget?" you replied, laughter bubbling up inside you. "You were so full of energy, I thought you were going to burst!"
Yuuji chuckled, his laughter mingling with yours in the quiet of the room. "Yeah, I guess I was pretty excited to become a jujutsu sorcerer. It gave me some purpose, y’know?" he admitted, his expression softening with nostalgia. "But meeting you was definitely the best part of that day. You were smiling at me and I just think it made me happy!”
Your heart fluttered at his words, a rush of affection washing over you. "I feel the same way, Yuu." you confessed, reaching up to brush a stray lock of hair from his face. "You've brought so much joy and excitement into my life, Yuu."
His gaze softened, his eyes reflecting the depth of his emotions. "And you've brought so much warmth and kindness into mine, pretty." he replied, his voice filled with sincerity. “I’d love more and more.”
In that moment, as you sat together in the quiet intimacy of the room, you knew that no matter where life took you, you would always have each other. And as you leaned into Yuuji's embrace, you felt a sense of peace settle over you, knowing that together, you could face whatever challenges lay ahead, hand in hand.
And suddenly, you think, in a blink of a crinkling eye.
You were just both sinking, with your fingers entwined.
Your cheeks were just lovingly pink in the twinkling lights.
All night, he tells you about the first time he saw you again.
Happily, not bitterly this time, suddenly, sweet sixteen.
Everything, from then and now, truly feels so high school.

Seventeen - Seungcheol- Imagine
Seungcheol x gn! Reader Fluff 🌸
Imagine dropping Seungcheol off at Pledis. Well, you were meant to just drop him off and then go your merry way. But you have clearly underestimated just how whipped this man is and how much he wants to show you of. He walks straight into the practice room announcing your arrival to the rest of the members. Some immediatly get up to greet you by hugging you (Dk, Hoshi, Mingyu) and some just wave in your general direction (Woozi, Wonwoo, Vernon). With you being happy to see some of them and starting to chat, you miss the look on Seungcheol's face. His expression is filled with pure love and adoration. He is standing two steps behind you, arms crossed but no one can miss the heart eyes he is giving you. Almost no one. Jeonghan is coming over, slightly bumping into him. When Seungcheol looks over Jeonghan just wiggles his eyebrows and moves his head in your direction making kissing faces which cause Seungcheol to blush and shove him away. But with Jeonghan being the drama loving queen that he is the ruckus gets noticed by you. You turn around and notice just how disorganized everyone is. With you feeling guilty for causing delay of their practice time you make your way over to Seungcheol telling him that you are on your way and you wish him a nice day. At the door he looks at you and before you can say more he leans in to kiss you but you move out of the way. Not wanting the others to see, not that you did not love this man it was just that you were not in the mood for being teased with no end by the rest of Seventeen for the next weeks. However, as you look up again you come across the most heartbreaking facial expression you have ever seen. Seuncheol is fucking pouting at you because you did not want to kiss him in front of the members. Before you can explain yourself you hear someone calling his name. With the door handle in your hand you turn around again to call out to him, wanting to wish him a nice day, but as he turns around his gace just melts your heart. His eyebrows are furrowed and his lips are still in an adorable pout. Without thinking about it you run over to him, grab his face and plant a very loud and very obvious kiss right on his lips. He looks at you in shook, his ears slowly turning red but before anyone can say anything you turn around and flee from the scene. The last thing you see as you close the door is a blushing Seungcheol and the noise from the members wolf whistling.
Just a short and fluffly blurb that came to my mind. 🤗 I wish everyone a nice week.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
it’s that time of the year again; peak hotness accompanies the sixth month of the year, as everyone dress up and come together for the awaited holiday: midsummer.
you are accompanying rafe; as you always do for this holiday, your arm looped into his as you both walk out along with the rest of the camerons. both of you are adorned in matching shades of baby blue, and you have a little flower crown fixed on the top of your head. rafe passes you a small smile as he leads you along with his family, everyone around you all clapping and cheering for the most powerful family on the island.
the celebrations continue to happen around you, and in between you and rafe get separated; him going with his friends for some ‘business’ (you caught the air that he got JJ kicked out), and you with your friends just simply talking and chatting, sipping away on your mocktail.
amidst your conversation with your friends, you feel an all too familiar hand brush your side, slowly trailing under the slit of your dress to gently graze your bare thigh. you feel him breathing down on your neck, and for a second, just for a second, you feel yourself completely lifted away from the conversation with your friends – but you quickly ground yourself back.
“hey,” he says softly into your ear. the conversation between your friends doesn’t essentially stop; this isn’t a rare sight for them.
“hey,” you murmur, rafe’s arms now wrapping firmly around your waist from behind, his chin resting on the crook of your neck.
“come with me,” he says softly, pressing the most subtle kiss behind your ear. his tone isn’t a request and it’s also not a command; but you know there is absolutely no room for argument. you give him a nod of your head and excuse yourself from your friends and follow him out, him making sure no one, especially his dad catch you both leaving.
he leads you to the nearby beach which is almost completely empty as everyone is gathered for midsummer, where you both sit down next to each other on the sand, the waves lapping up till your feet under the darkness of the night sky.
a breeze blows past you two as you both sit silently next to each other on the beach, the sound of the waves filling your ears. you hear the flick of a lighter and turn your head to rafe to see him lighting up a weed joint, watching the momentary golden glow. he hands you the joint after taking a hit himself, and you take a deep drag, blowing out a plume of smoke after that.
“I fuckin’ hate midsummers,” rafe mutters, as you pass him the joint and he takes a hit. “all that attention to my dad, everyone is always asking me when i’m going to start at the company… same bullshit each time. I’m so sick of it.” he takes another hit of the joint, letting out a cloud of smoke before turning his attention to you. “but this…” he says, his voice now starting to take on a softer tone as his fingers curl around yours, “this is the only good thing each time.”
you smile softly at him, squeezing his hand back as he hands you the joint back and you take a hit. he watches you intently; watches how your lips wrap around the end of the joint, how you take a deep drag, and how you let the smoke roll off your tongue releasing it into the air. he takes your intertwined hand and presses a soft kiss to the back of your knuckles.
“thank you for coming with me, seriously,” he murmurs, pressing another kiss to the back of your hand before letting it go.
“of course,” you smile, handing him the joint back. “there’s nothing you have to thank me for,”
rafe acknowledges your smile with one of his own before hitting the joint. a beat of silence passes over you two before rafe speaks up again.
“I love how we do this each time,” he says with a smile, the joint dangling in between his lips, “this sneaking away from everyone. right now, my dad must be giving some lame ass speech using words like ‘power’ and ‘integrity’, and will smother all his love on ms. sarah there, and everyone would practically be eating out of his hand.” he snorts, shaking his head. “it’s nice to get away from that suffocating place to get a breather. you’re the only one who understands.”
you scoot closer to him and rest your head on his shoulder, and his hand comes to rest on your thigh right under the slit, where he gently traces small circles against your flesh, his touch almost featherlight.
“you remember when we sneaked out from the celebration the first time?” you start. “we were, what, 8? and your dad was so desperate to make you meet all his business associates but your little antisocial ass was just not having it,”
he lets out a chuckle at your words, nodding. he pulls the joint from his lips and slots it in between yours. “I had more than enough of business talk that night. and you were the only one who caught the look of uncomfort on my face. you helped me sneak out from there and we came right to this beach, and we shared a pack of sour patch kids.”
you laugh softly at the memory, letting out some smoke before holding the joint between your fingers. “yeah,” you say. “and it just became a tradition over the years. we used to share candy, and now we’re sharing a weed joint. we really leveled up our game huh?”
rafe chuckles with you, both of your laughters mixing together in a symphony just like they always have all these years. “we certainly did,” he says. “I’m proud of us you know?” he teases, his fingers continuing to trace circles on your thigh.
“I am too,” you grin, taking a hit of the joint again.
“but my favorite one was when we were 18,” he says. “when we went skinny dipping in the water,”
you laugh at that, nodding. “that was… that was really something huh?” you murmur, getting comfortable against his shoulder.
“mhm,” he hums softly, looking at your head resting on his shoulder, and leaning down to kiss your temple softly. “it was really good,” he murmurs.
you look up at him, your eyes flicking down to his lips for just a second before going back up to his eyes. “you know…” you start speaking, and you can feel the subtle start of the influence of the thc over your thoughts, “i wouldn’t mind doing that again,” you whisper.
rafe looks down at you and catches your subtle glance at his lips. “you wouldn’t?” he whispers back, a smirk starting to slowly pull his lips.
a coy smile spreads on your face and you shake your head. “I wouldn’t, no,” you murmur.
the small smirk on his face turns to a full grin as his fingers reach out to your shoulder, trailing over the strap of your dress. he starts to slowly tug it down, the strap now hanging off your shoulder. rafe feels his heart starting to thump in his chest, and he knows, oh he just knows what the night has in store for you two.
“well then…” he mumbles, leaning down to press the softest kiss on your exposed shoulder.
“... what are we waiting for?”

Title: honey badger jr
Note: I wrote this to apologize to everyone for the delay and for the short Max fic... :)
Summary:....honey badger jr?
Warning: Fluff, cute, there Is nothing really.
----------------
Daniel Ricciardo couldn't remember a time when he'd been more excited and more terrified simultaneously. He paced back and forth in the living room of your cozy apartment, occasionally glancing at you with wide, anxious eyes. You sat on the couch, gently rubbing your swollen belly and smiling at his antics. Your due date was only a few weeks away, and Daniel was in full-blown panic mode.
"Are you sure you're comfortable, love?" he asked for the fifth time in the last hour, rushing over to fluff the pillows behind your back. "Do you need more water? Maybe some snacks? How about a foot massage?"
You giggled, reaching out to grab his hand. "Danny, I'm fine. Really. You need to relax."
"Relax? How can I relax when our little honey badger Jr could come any day now?" His voice was a mix of excitement and worry, and you could see the love in his eyes despite the stress.
You pulled him down to sit beside you, your hand gently cupping his cheek. "Daniel, you're going to be an amazing dad. Everything is going to be okay."
He leaned into your touch, his eyes closing for a moment as he let your words sink in. "I just... I want everything to be perfect for you and the baby. What if I mess something up?"
You chuckled softly, your thumb tracing the familiar curve of his jaw. "You won't mess anything up. You're already perfect."
Daniel's face softened, and he placed his hand over yours, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I just can't believe this is happening. It feels like just yesterday we found out."
You smiled, thinking back to that moment. The shock on Daniel's face, quickly replaced by pure joy, was something you'd never forget. "I know. Time flies, huh?"
"Yeah," he said softly, his eyes drifting down to your belly. "Hey there, little one. We're waiting for you. But, you know, take your time. No rush."
You laughed, the sound filling the room and easing some of Daniel's tension. "I don't think she can hear you, Danny."
"Well, just in case," he said, pressing a gentle kiss to your belly. "Daddy's a bit nervous, but he's going to do his best."
You ran your fingers through his hair, feeling a wave of love for this man who was trying so hard to be everything you needed. "And that's all we can ask for."
Daniel smiled up at you, his eyes sparkling with unshed tears. "I love you so much."
"I love you too, Danny," you replied, your heart swelling with emotion. "And we both love our little honey badger jr."
He pulled you into a gentle hug, careful not to squish your belly. "We're going to be a great team, the three of us."
You rested your head on his shoulder, feeling the warmth of his embrace. "Yes, we are."
As the two of you sat there, wrapped up in each other, you knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you and Daniel would face them together. His love and dedication, coupled with your unwavering support, would guide you through this incredible journey of parenthood. And in that moment, with your baby nestled safely between you, everything felt just right.
This is short too but....ehh, I can make pt2 too if you want

when you're gone, i come undone
Buck’s never been religious, and he sure as hell wasn’t raised with the brand of catholicism that seems to plague Bobby and Eddie’s every step, but he thinks he can understand why Bobby likes his rosary beads so much. At the very least it would give him something to do with his hands while he sits vigil at Bobby’s side, way past the time visitors who aren’t on a first-name basis with half of the hospital staff would be allowed.
The others had left hours ago, some with kids who needed taking care of and others anticipating early shifts the next day, promising to take over from him as soon as visiting hours started. There was no shortage of people who wanted to be the one to keep watch over Bobby, but the night shift would’ve usually fallen to Athena, if she wasn’t recovering in her own room and allowed more than a couple minutes out of bed at a time to come see him.
There was a quiet devastation clinging to her that Buck had never seen before. Maybe because before there would’ve been the safe walls of her home and the arms of her husband to cover her when she lost her unflappable mask.
That, more than anything, makes him feel utterly helpless. As much as he had been thinking of Bobby as more of a dad to him than his own father for close to a decade, Athena was never his mom.
After the rough patch at the start of their relationship, they’d understood each other in the way only two people who love someone as much as they both loved Bobby could. You hold half of his heart, so you’ll hold your fair share of mine, as well. Maybe that was why he’d taken one look at the longing in Athena’s eyes and promised to stay the night with Bobby. No matter his own desire to never let Bobby out of his sight again, he also wanted to protect the pieces of Bobby that were with Athena, as well.
The only problem is that Buck has never been able to stay still for too long. He fidgets, and he bustles, and he fills silences. At the minimum, it usually earns him a dead-pan look that’s suspiciously drenched in fondness, or his name uttered in gentle scolding twinged with amusement.
He half-expects the latter to fall from the corner of Bobby’s mouth with a single eyelid cracked open to give its best effort at the former, the way it usually happens when they’re in the bunkroom and everyone else is ready to sleep like the dead while Buck is wide-awake and wired like an electric fence.
The image stands in such contrast to the blank slate of Bobby’s unconscious face that it does nothing to soothe his nervous fidgeting. He’s leaning so far forward, trying to summon any sort of conscious intention behind the mechanical rise and fall of Bobby’s chest and every reflexive twitch of his face, that he accidentally shifts the chair, so the bottom slides against the floor and breaks the momentary silence that only exists between the regular beeping and intercom noises that come muffled through the hospital room doors.
Come on, Bobby. Tell me to shut up and go to bed. Tell me it’s late, and I can either close my eyes and actually try to sleep or go make some of that lavender tea we keep for this exact reason. You know you want to. Stilling so as to not miss any minute signs of Bobby’s stirring, Buck’s breath catches tight in his lungs like it used to when the fridge door would be too loud as he tried to sneak past his dad’s sleeping form in the living room armchair when he was a kid. Unlike back then, the disappointment when Bobby fails to stir is a living thing that threatens to swallow him whole. He rides the wave of devastation by opening his mouth and intentionally filling the silence, instead.
“I’m gonna say something, but you can’t get mad at me,” he says. Bobby is silent, but that’s not much different from how he’d usually react to such an opening from Buck, so he takes that as his go-head anyway. “I think this may be all my fault.”
It’s probably just his own nerves, but the air in the room settles around the words with so much tension that it only serves to spur him on. “Not the- not the fire, obviously. I mean, I had no idea you’d even met the guy Athena thinks is responsible for it, but that’s kind of what I mean, you know? I had no idea.”
His breath is shaky as he exhales, a tremble running up his shoulders.
“I don’t- I don’t think I ever told you, what I saw when I was in the coma. Maybe you already guessed. Some days it’s like you seem to know what’s going on in my brain better than even I do, but it was just. It was a different world, Bobby. Daniel was still alive, so I guess I never had a reason to come to L.A. and join the academy and everything was just…wrong. Maddie was still with Doug, and Eddie never got to meet Carla so he couldn’t figure everything out fast enough to keep Chris, and Chimney…well, Chim was still Chimney but he told me that you were dead, Bobby. He told me you’d been dead for years and it was like I couldn’t breathe.”
He kind of feels like that now, actually. His face feels hot and his eyelashes are heavy like when he’s about to cry but his eyes are dry. For the first time in years, he’s in agreement with his body’s reaction to something. If he were to start crying now, he wouldn’t ever be able to stop, and that feels too much like giving up to be acceptable.
Deep breath, he thinks, in through his nose and pushed out from his mouth. His lips are dry. He keeps going.
“I used to think that’s why I died, you know. Like I was supposed to learn something and that’s the only way the universe could think to get it through my thick skull, I guess.”
“But I think I got it wrong,” he whispers, and it echoes as loud as the beeping from the heart monitor.
“I thought it meant that I matter, you know. Like, ‘they need you as much as you need them! Don’t leave them alone!’ But I was so stupid.” So much for not crying. His day-old stubble is damp with tears. He’s been wearing these clothes for more than 24 hours at this point and he’s starting to feel overstimulated in the way he sometimes does when they’re on a busy shift and don’t have time to freshen up. It occurs to him that Bobby usually notices, like he notices most things that have the potential to bother any of them. This would be the time when he tells Buck to go ahead and take a quick shower while he reheats the food. And Buck would come back good as new, a weight lifted off his shoulders before he could even recognize it because someone cared enough about him to know him better than he did himself.
“I’ve been so caught up in my own stuff since I came back and, God, I’ve just been so happy these past couple of months it feels like I’ve been walking around with blinders on. I didn’t even notice this thing going on with Eddie until it was too late and now he might lose Christopher. You came to talk to me after our last shift and I should’ve - I should’ve - noticed something was wrong but all I could think about was if I had everything to go stay with Tommy. a-and then something happened with Eddie, and I honestly don’t think I spared you a single other thought that night, Bobby. I was using your recipe to make dinner for my date while your house was burning down.”
He’s tripping over his words, like if he says them fast enough he can reach Bobby and earn his forgiveness first, before the disappointment settles in and bars the gates.
“I should’ve remembered, Bobby. The dream showed me a world where I wasn’t there and you died, and I left it. I came back because I couldn’t live in that world. I refuse to.” Saying the words settles something in him, and he wipes the wetness from his eyes away with the flat of his palm before crossing his arms and sitting up in the chair, body once again posed like a shield between the outside world and the figure lying in the bed.
“Look, maybe-maybe I already missed the chance the universe gave me. But you know better than anyone that I’m way better at third chances anyway.” He tries for a smile, and if he squints really hard he can almost see the muscles under Bobby’s eyes tensing the way they do when he’s about to smile, too.
“You’ve never given up on me before, Bobby. Don’t start now.”
The monitor’s beeping remains the only other sound in the room, but that’s okay. He’s learning to be patient. Bobby knows that, too.

Dear Atlas,
love is never easy and never is it fair. but sometimes it's strong enough to overcome the adversity.
It's been about a month since you were sent to live with Prince Rowan, your fiance. Only a few weeks until you are married, until your fate is sealed.
You roamed the palace like a bird with its wings clipped, singing a song for everyone to watch as you remain in this gilded cage. Nobody seemed to notice the way you seemed imprisoned, they were too busy admiring the prince's beautiful new bride.
Gently, you picked up the bottoms of your silk dress so it wouldn't drag in the mud as you walked into the garden. It was one of the few things you enjoyed while being here.
You bent down smelling the daisies, hands behind your back. The small scent of freedom that ever graced your senses. It was a feeble thing but a pleasure nonetheless.
"Princess!" Someone called from behind you. An invisible disappointment fell across your face before you turned around with a genial smile. It was one of the servants, a young girl who did not belong in the cruel place such as this. (Why did you feel as though that was a mirror to your own situation?)
"Prince Rowan requests your presence in his private chambers." She explained, eyes twinkling as though it meant something funny or curious. You were sure Prince Rowan did not want what that girl thought was being suggested.
With the lava bubbling in the pits of your stomach, boiling your heart like it was merely a vegetable in a stew, you gave a slight bob of your head.
"Thank you." You said quickly, forcing the words out before your tone became venom. The girl smiled and scurried away, ready to do whatever was required of her.
☆゜・。。・゜゜・。。・゜★゜・。。・゜゜・。。・゜☆
"Hello, my dear." Prince Rowan said, a smile curled across his face (that seemed as though it was curled around your throat, tighter and tighter and-)
"You sent for my presence?" You inquired, giving him a curtsy. Rather gouge your eyes out than be here but when was a princess given a choice?
"The wedding is happening tonight. We needed to speed up the process to......silence the protestors of our relationship." He explained, a gloved finger tracing your cheekbone.
"Then you mustn't see me." You replied, your voice stuck in your throat. He simply let his finger trail down, your collarbone to your arm. Then he snatched your wrist (grip tight enough to leave a bruise. A marking of possession.)
"Behave, my dear. Your kingdom depends on it." He whispered in your ear, hot breath like acid melting your skin.
A few hours later, you were in your white gown symbolizing your purity and innocence. The innocent, the perfect bride. The gorgeous and docile wife of the soon to be king
Image after image painted on your skin by the makeup artists. The role you must play braided into your hair, securing the title with the pins stabbing your scalp.
The gentle knocking on the door was the only warning you had before Percy waltzed into the room. A worried smile was on his lips, reminiscent to when you had left your home.
"I missed you."
You and Percy both laughed, the words having found both of your tongues. Even a month apart you still spoke the same things as your older brother.
"I wish I could stall and spend time talking to you but I can't." Percy said, eyebrows dipped low with his teal eyes filled with concern, "The wedding is starting soon and I have to deliver your present. From father."
He backed up and allowed another person to enter the room as he said, "Your new knight and protector, Miss. Piper Mclean of the Aphrodite village."
She was stunning, a beauty no amount of words on a paper or paint strokes on a canvas could convey. Skin dark and tanned, freckles dotting the bridge of her nose, eyes the prettiest greenish brown you've ever seen. She was pure magic. You were certain you were dying.
All of a sudden your face felt hot and your body felt faint, itchy and strange. What was this sudden case of female hysteria?
"Good evening, princess." Piper said, her voice somehow even prettier than hee face. It was smooth and silky, the sweetest sound to ever grace your ears.
Your brain was still malfunctioning, your tongue lead in your mouth. So you swallowed, smiled, and nodded. Simply trying to act normal when these strange feelings erose from within you.
"I must go now." Percy said, leaning in to give you a large hug (the last you may ever have from him), "I love you."
That snapped you out of the daze enough for you to kiss his cheek and say, "Goodbye, brother. May the mistress of fortune forever greet your and princess Annabeth's door."
He nodded, lingering at the door for a moment before disappearing from your sight and your life. Your knight stood solidly by the door, already focused on the job.
Finally, you were done getting ready. (and your momentary illness luckily faded to nothing but a strange feeling in your heart whenever your knight was near) It was time to be wed.
The wedding was extravagant and opulent, the music matching perfectly. The train of your dress was carried by servants as you marched down the aisle.
It was called a wedding march but it felt more like one of death.
Prince Rowan was waiting, although now you would have to call him King. His coronation would be quite soon after the wedding. You kept walking, forward and forward and forward and forward.
With your stomach at your feet and your heart locked far away, you made it. He took your hands and soon the ceremony began.
You had practiced your vows many times before, making sure to perfect the false narrative of love. And the wedding was going smoothly, perfectly.
"Now you may kiss the bride." The officiant declared, sealing your soul in a deal with the devil.
Rowan leaned in, grabbing your shoulders so you couldn't prevent the kiss even if you tried. It was slimy, it was disgusting, it made you want to vomit.
The crowd applauded behind you, roaring with acceptance of this matrimony.
Finally Rowan backed up and allowed you the space to breath without his stench clouding your senses, a chance you took up greedily. You turned towards the audience once family, friends, subjects.
Soon you would their queen yet their prisoner just the same.

Using a mug of hot chocolate to warm your hands, you sit by the window in the living room. Your mind wanders, distracted as you watch the sunset color the garden in hues you’ve grown to love. Your gaze catches a figure walking towards the castle, and even in this dim light, you recognize that silhouette: the owner of eyes the same color as the sky outside.
You lose yourself in your thoughts again. The way you’ve been trying to gauge his feelings, to drop hints about love, and how it fails miserably every time. The way you’ve been trying to summon the courage to confess your feelings, to at least let them out of your heart, to ease this yearning.
But it takes only one look at his face to make you change your mind, afraid of breaking your heart even more.
It takes only one look to know that Ellis doesn’t see you that way, and probably never will. To know that the kind of life he has doesn’t let him even think about a romantic relationship, and he doesn’t really care about it. To know that his kindness is directed to everyone, not only for you.
A pale hand waves in front of your face, pulling you out of your daydreams and making you blink several times to bring yourself back to the present. You don’t need to look up to know who is there; you recognize the bracelet on his wrist, and his scent is already filling your senses. But you look anyway.
“Ah, finally,” he smiles. “I’ve been calling you for a while. Are you okay?”
“Oh, hi, Ellis. Yes, just a little distracted,” you say, forcing a smile.
He watches you for a few seconds before continuing to talk. “I just got back and brought some baguettes to share with everyone. Liam is already eating, and I came to see if you want some too.”
“Yes, that sounds good. Thank you,” you say with a nod.
Ellis smiles again and offers you his hand to help you up. You look at his hand for a moment before accepting it, and that’s when something inside you makes you act before you can think straight.
You grab his hand and, instead of hoisting yourself up, you bring it to your lips. He looks at you with a questioning gaze, and before you can reconsider, you’ve already placed a soft kiss on his fingertips. You feel his hand twitch in your hold and finally realize what you’ve done. Your eyes widen as you look up at his face, finding him staring at you.
“Sorry, I-I…” You quickly let go of his hand, feeling your throat go dry. “Your hand was cold, so I, um, was helping to warm it up.”
“Is that so?” He tilts his head to the side as he continues to look at you. “It’s okay, they’re warm now,” he replies as if he really believed you, and you don’t know how to react to that. “Now, come. We should go eat while they’re still fresh and warm.”
It takes you a moment to realize what he is talking about, but then you nod. Standing up, you try to compose yourself and hold back the tears as you follow him to the dining room.

Imagine alastor thinks his wife is just the most perfect, angelic being he’s ever met, so he’s downright shocked to fight out she also ended up in hell going “yeah I killed a man once” (he falls even more in love)
A Good Thing, Indeed
tags: alastor x fem! reader, established relationship, alastor and reader are married, angelic reader, protective/possessive alastor, brief human alastor x human reader, fluff, very mild angst note: I went a little overboard with this one, but I hope you enjoy, anon <3 Find a sequel (of sorts) to this fic, here.
Alastor had never quite understood how someone like him had ended up with a woman like you.
You were soft and understanding, utterly ceaseless in your kindness and love of near anyone who crossed your path, a true saint to be sure.
Alastor on the other hand, had always been quite the opposite.
Where you were soft, your lover was unyielding, where you were understanding, he was impatient, and when it came to the capacity for kindness and love within his heart, many would have gone on record stating that there was much to be desired in that regard.
Yet, even still, you chose him, and he, you.
Every. Single. Time.
It was as if the two of you were meant to be.
The proud and charismatic up and coming host of a brand new radio show, and the modest and soft spoken kindergarten teacher that was ever present upon his arm.
To Alastor, you were everything and more, and whether he was willing to admit it aloud or not, he all but worshiped the very ground that you walked upon.
There was so very little worth caring for in a world like the one that he lived in, and yet there you were, a shining beacon of light and hope to keep him from losing his mind over it all (well, at least in part, though he knew deep down that a portion had been missing since long before you'd made your way into his life).
For all of this, Alastor praised you and your love ceaselessly, his appreciation for your union a vast and endless thing that filled him with a sense of pride stronger than any other he'd felt before.
And how could it not?
You were his wife.
You!
The beautiful kindergarten teacher who worked in the public school just down the street from his broadcasting station, the one with the smile that lit up a room and the laugh that could make a man blush.
The one with the students who sung her praises to their parents during pick up and the coworkers turned friends who would utterly gush about her at even the briefest mention of her name.
You.
The woman that no one believed had gotten New Orleans' most prominent radio host to settle down after only just a year of courting, and whose stunning church wedding had been the talk of the town.
You were perfect, you were lovely, and the sweetest part of it all was that you bore his last name.
And oh, what whiplash that must have caused for those who hadn't known of your courtship earlier on. It nearly sent Alastor into a tizzy just imagining it.
The sweet, adoring woman that your son calls his teacher is also the wife of the ever unreadable and notably cold radio host from just down the street that scarcely any could say they truly knew?
How scandalous! Whatever is a woman like her doing with a man like him?!
Well, the answer, quite honestly, was being doted upon nigh endlessly.
If you wanted for even the smallest of things, it would be yours in an instant, and if you desired even the most useless of luxuries, he would have spared no expense to have it in your hands by the end of the day.
And even beyond that, there was the persistent desire to stay by your side, his presence always guaranteed the very moment you mentioned want for it.
An ice cream social at the school where you'd be meeting your new students and their parents? Alastor was there, conversing politely with a few mothers on the difficulties of parenting (in spite of his notable lack of children), making nearly everyone wonder what the hell a famous radio host was doing at the local elementary school.
Visiting Mimzy at her slightly sleazy little lounge in the shadier side of the city? Alastor was there, dressed to the nines, looking immensely out of place as you danced the night away with your friends (and him of course) to your little heart's content.
His love for you was nearly as endless as yours was for the very world beneath your feet, and in spite of himself he couldn't help but fall deeper and deeper in love at every borderline naive action you took.
You want to buy that man a drink because he looks lonely? Certainly darling, your husband would be happy to scare him off all night as the fool tries to make unwanted advances at you that he thinks are warranted thanks to your kindness.
You want to pick a fight with the burly man whose house is on your walk to work because he's been shouting cruel things at his dog nearly every morning for the past several weeks? Oh of course, just let Alastor prepare to use his most unsettling smile while he reaches for the leather sheathed knife he keeps attached to his belt so he can wordlessly threaten the oaf without you ever even realizing.
And so, knowing all of that and having lived such a love-filled few years at your side, how could Alastor ever have believed he might one day see you again once he came to in Hell shortly after his demise?
The short answer was, he couldn't.
And though he would never have been willing to admit such a thing aloud, it utterly shattered a portion of his heart to know he would never see your sweet smile or hear your perfect laugh ever again.
And to imagine what your reaction may have been once the police had informed you of all that he had done?
Well, he tried his best not to.
Because while he couldn't bring himself to regret those he had killed and the things he had done, he did regret having been left with no choice but to keep such a thing from you and leave you with such a mess upon his death.
Certainly you had deserved better, that much he knew.
But there was absolutely nothing he could do about that now.
Or, at least, that's what he had led himself to believe.
Until one day, he'd been broken out of his typical morning routine of brewing his black coffee and digging into a freshly caught deer by the sound of knocking at his door.
There were very few people who knew of where Alastor lived at this point, with him being multiple years removed from life and having firmly cemented himself within society as a powerful and merciless overlord, so honestly it hadn't come as very much of a surprise when he opened the door and found an old friend waiting rather impatiently on the other side.
Mimzy.
Having arrived in Hell not very long after the radio host, the former flapper, (who he had actually met through you), had become a familiar face throughout the past few years as he'd tried to grow accustomed to life without his darling wife at his side.
It was nice, in a way, to have that reminder of you near when he wished for it to be, and so he allowed the sinner to call him something like a friend and offered her protection when it was convenient enough for him that it didn't prove to be a hassle.
Although, today of all days the overlord was certainly a little less than pleased to see Mimzy's familiar face at his doorstep, and he was reasonably certain that she knew why that was.
It was your former anniversary after all, and today would have been your tenth year of marriage had he only lived long enough to reach such a landmark achievement with you.
A smile, strained and thin, descended upon his lips, and, in spite of his feelings, Alastor remained as cordial as ever, albeit rather cold with his words.
"Mimzy, my dear! How wonderful to see you! Whatever could possibly be so important as to have you at my door on a day like today?"
There was a certain level of threat to his tone that no doubt left the woman standing before him floundering for a few seconds, before finally, she mustered up her reply, her smile ever so slightly less confident than before.
"Alastor, just the fella that I was lookin' for!"
The sinner began, placing her right hand upon her hip as she inspected the condition of the nails on her left,
"Now I know ya like to be left alone and all on days like this, but I've got a surprise for ya back at my place that I promise you're gonna wanna see a-s-a-p."
She said with her typical air of confidence, immediately causing the Radio Demon to roll his eyes in response, his facade of interest slipping ever so slightly before he seemed to catch himself once more, ever the gentleman.
"Oh do you now? Well, as utterly transfixed as I am over this little mystery of yours, I'm afraid that I just don't have the time to stop by today. Lot's of things to prepare for the upcoming broad-"
"Alastor."
Mimzy said sternly, cutting the overlord in question off rather uncharacteristically with a glare of her own.
"I know damn well that you don't got nothin' planned for the day, so don't you start fibbin', mista, I can see right through ya!"
She began, quickly changing the subject when she seemed to recall exactly who she was talking to at the increasing sound of static.
"Look, I didn't come here to argue with ya or nothin', so you do whatever it is that you wanna do. I just wanted to come over and warn ya that if you don't come by for a visit by the end of the day you're gonna feel like a real fool, okay?"
She emphasized her warning with a dramatized raise of her brow before she grinned rather wickedly and stepped down off of his doorstep, wiggling her fingers in a teasing little wave as she climbed into the back of the very same taxi she must have used to get to his dwellings in the first place.
"I'll see ya around dollface!"
She called out as the car pulled away, leaving Alastor with quite a few more questions than he'd had upon her already unplanned arrival.
What a fantastic start to one's day.
By the time that Alastor made the decision to actually stop by Mimzy's lounge, it was already dark outside, the subtle chirping of crickets reminding him briefly of home as he walked toward his destination, ever a fan of the more simplistic methods of transportation.
He thought of the sounds of crickets and all of the moments with you that their seemingly endless chirps had backed until their sounds faded away with the increasing sounds of the busier section of the city, wherein Mimzy's place was located.
Just as sleazy and sketchy as it had been above, so it was below, and Alastor felt a sudden sense of longing and familiarity as he stepped inside, the smell of cigarettes and the sound of ever so slightly out of tune jazz music reminding him of his days of swing dancing with you on the cracked dance floor of the place Mimzy had owned and operated in life.
The Radio Demon had only just begun to contemplate what you might have thought of a place like this one when suddenly, he heard a familiar voice call out his name, and he turned to find the lounge's owner walking quickly toward him, a wide grin that nearly rivaled his own splitting her cheeks.
"Well would you look who it is, Alastor the Radio Demon here in my lil' lounge, what a lucky lady I must be!"
Mimzy teased as she shouted over the obnoxiously loud music, immediately forcing the man in question to hold back another instinctual roll of his eyes.
"Oh, nonsense, I should think that luck has very little to do with it, my dear."
Alastor drawled, dragging his gaze downward to find his friend standing there, all but vibrating upon her feet, clearly excited by something, though he couldn't quite fathom what in Hell it could possibly be.
That is, until he heard another familiar voice pipe up from somewhere behind him, this one far less anticipated than the last, and by a rather significant margin at that.
"Mimzy?"
It called, an edge of stress to it that had the corners of the overlord's smile twitching downward ever so slightly for the briefest of moments.
Alastor watched as the ex flapper standing before him grinned widely in response to his barely noticeable reaction, her eyes shining as she allowed the person speaking to continue with their question.
"Who did you say the whiskey on the rocks was for?"
The lounge's owner hopped up onto a stool beside where she had been standing, gesturing to the space at the bar near where Alastor was still firmly planted, the ears atop his head twitching ever so slightly as they took in the sound of a voice he'd never thought he'd hear again for the very first time since he'd awoken with them camouflaged within his hair.
"Right here, doll. Speakin' of which, why dontcha c'mere and meet one of my regulars, huh?"
She asked as casually as she could manage, gesturing slightly for the still reeling sinner standing beside the bar to take a seat, which, to her surprise, he actually did, eyes seeking out the source of the voice he was hearing as if in utter disbelief.
And then, much to his shock, there you were.
Sure, you looked different as a sinner, but he would recognize you anywhere, and it certainly helped that your beautiful smile was the very same as he remembered it to be whenever he closed his eyes and found you there waiting for him.
Busy with what was likely a fairly large number of orders that your fellow bartender seemed to be doing very little to try and keep up with, you didn't seem to notice him at first, walking quickly toward your old friend with a glass of whiskey in hand, moving to place it down in front of the ever so prominent Radio Demon absentmindedly when suddenly, you froze, your hand still wrapped around the chilled cup.
The two of you stared at one another for several long moments, eyes widened and breaths halting entirely, until finally Mimzy spoke up from Alastor's right, her laughter obnoxious beside his ear, though he could scarcely bring himself to care with his gaze locked so heavily onto yours.
"Happy anniversary, ya lovebirds! Didn't expect that, didja?!"
She all but cackled, causing you to break eye contact with your husband to gawk at your friend.
"Wait a second, you knew he was here the whole time and didn't tell me?!"
You cried, hand flying to your mouth as Alastor began to regard the woman sitting beside him with a hugely threatening glare, the frightfulness of which was only increased by his unyielding grin, which was beginning to appear more and more malicious by the second.
"Woah woah woah, hold your horses!"
Mimzy shouted, waving her hands all about as if in surrender as she looked back and forth between the two of you nervously,
"She only just got down here this mornin' I swear!"
She explained hurriedly to the overlord beside her, causing the man's eye to twitch with effort as he struggled not to tear his old friend limb from limb while her entire bar watched on in horror.
Alastor tapped one clawed finger against the bar in front of him, his sharpened teeth appearing even more threatening than usual at his apparent anger over the situation at hand.
"And you didn't think, my dear,"
He began, his voice low,
"That I may have wanted to know sooner?"
The sound of static overtook the lounge as the sinner's anger increased with each word he said, causing everyone, including those hired to play the live music, to flee out the front door, leaving the trio to their own devices within the confines of the now empty space.
This fact worked extremely well for Alastor, who was only growing more enraged with each passing second as he considered the implication of Mimzy's actions further.
Not only had this woman, someone who had dared call him a friend for so many years, betrayed him by keeping your presence unknown, but she had also clearly employed you at her poor excuse for a lounge, and was now acting as if she had done him a favor by allowing him to be in the presence of the very woman he'd married.
The urge to rip the sinner to shreds with his very own claws was immense, and perhaps he even would have done so had it not been for a gentle hand coming to rest upon his forearm, the weight of it felt even through his shirt and coat.
Immediately, he stiffened, the familiarity of the touch so jarring that his previous thoughts of murder ceased within an instant as he turned his head to face you properly.
There, illuminated by the dim and yellowed lights of the bar, stood his wife, a woman who he had never expected to see again after all that he had done.
What good deed must he have committed in life to deserve such a blessing as this?
Surely there was some kind of mistake and someone would be descending from the heavens to collect you soon, an angel sent to Hell on accident by way of some great failure on Saint Peter's fault.
Your husband stared at you for a few moments, as if afraid you might disappear if he so much as blinked, before finally, you spoke up, your lips curving into a slightly nervous smile.
"Let her explain?"
You asked gently, taking up the very same tone you used to when asking your beloved to make an exception to one of his many strict internalized rules for your benefit.
'Stay home with me?'
'Give him a chance?'
'A slightly less violent solution, perhaps?'
(the latter of which he'd heard more often than he was willing to admit).
And this time, as always, he caved almost immediately, giving a rather stern nod of his head before looking toward Mimzy with an obviously strained smile on his lips.
She didn't have long, that was for sure.
If she wanted to explain, she'd better do so quickly.
And that much must have been clear, because the ex flapper started talking just about as fast as she could manage while still remaining intelligible.
And what a tale she spun, indeed.
With hurried words and a remarkably nervous expression the likes of which neither you nor your husband had ever seen Mimzy wear before, the sinner apologized profusely for not telling either of you sooner, promising that she had only been trying to make it a surprise in celebration of your anniversary.
Apparently, she had vastly overestimated how persuasive she could be, and had assumed (rather incorrectly) that Alastor would be much more urgent in his arrival to her lounge after she'd paid him a visit, meaning she hadn't exactly intended to have kept the two waiting so long for the "grand reveal" of her surprise.
And, slowly but surely, as Mimzy explained her thought process, your confusion and your husband's apparent anger all but melted away, both reactions coming to be replaced with something located somewhere between amusement and exasperation.
How very like your friend it was to meddle in such a manner, after all.
You'd missed this.
(Alastor wished dearly that he could say the same, but having been stuck alone with it for several years, he couldn't quite relate.)
Still, even he had to admit that Mimzy's actions were something far more similar to misguided kindness than intentional ill will.
Though, there was still one issue that was still bothering him...
"Mimzy."
Alastor interrupted the sinner in the middle of her ramble, watching as she immediately shut her mouth and looked up at him, a familiar bout of nervous laughter falling from her lips as she wrung her hands together.
Seeing that she was paying attention, the overlord continued,
"I understand what you were going for with your..." He trailed off for a moment before hearing you pipe up from where you stood on the other side of the bar,
"Efforts."
How amusing, it seemed that even after years of separation, not even death could sever the almost supernatural ability you had to understand what your husband was trying to say before even he truly did.
Alastor nodded,
"Exactly. But that being said, I struggle to understand one thing."
He leaned toward his old friend slightly, watching her eyes widen as he did so, clearly unsure of what was going to happen next.
"Why, pray tell, my dear, is my wife spending her precious time working at your lounge if you had every intention of returning her to me?"
The possessive tone to his voice made you blush, eyes moving to the ground as you awaited Mimzy's response.
She was quick to answer.
"Great question, dollface!"
She laughed nervously,
"I uh, I guess I kinda figured she'd know if she was down here then you would be too, so I wanted to give her a little bit of a distraction... and maybe get some extra help for a few hours in the meantime."
She admitted quietly, though by the time she was finished speaking, Alastor wasn't paying her much mind anymore, his mind now occupied with what he considered to be a far more pressing issue.
Because now that Mimzy mentioned it...
"Dearest,"
He began, immediately catching your attention as he turned to face you fully, allowing you to take in the sight of him and his new "look" for the first time since your arrival.
You would be lying if you said you weren't a fan, as different as it may have been.
"Speaking of 'down here',"
Alastor continued, amusement dancing within his eyes,
"What exactly are you doing in a place like Hell?"
Your gaze moved downward once more at that, and you cleared your throat awkwardly as you tried to find anything else to focus on.
Eventually though, you gave up, and forced yourself to meet your husband's gaze once more.
"I uh, I killed a parent..."
You muttered under your breath, immediately causing Alastor's eyes to widen slightly in surprise, one of his ears twitching slightly atop his head.
"Pardon?"
He asked in utter disbelief, unable to even begin to comprehend what he was hearing.
You, his beautiful and darling wife, had killed a parent of one of the children you taught?
Utterly unbelievable, perish the thought.
You sighed, crossing your arms in a mix of embarrassment and frustration,
"I killed a parent, Al. Lucy and Arnold's father. He was beating on them and their mama something fierce, and I saw the opportunity to put a stop to it one night when walking over to the station after work... He went down the alley between the grocers and the tailor to take a shortcut home or something like that, and I just followed him before I even knew what was really going on..."
You sounded hesitant as you spoke, eyes downcast once more until without a word, your husband pressed his gloved index finger to your chin, raising your gaze to his own once more so you could see the utter awe present there.
He was positively enamored.
"You killed Harry Wells?"
He asked, shock still coloring his tone as he watched you for your reaction.
Slowly, after a few seconds of contemplation, you nodded, cheeks still pink as you did your best to keep from trying to avoid Alastor's heavy gaze.
"I uh, yeah. I did."
The overlord sitting across from you chuckled softly, a sound that slowly grew in volume and exuberance until he was laughing outright, the familiar sound music to your ears even as he sighed and wiped a tear from his eye afterward, something he had done often in life.
He grinned even wider at you than before, the pride in his eyes obvious as he shook his head as if still in disbelief.
"And to think,"
He began, reaching across the counter to grab both of your hands so he could pull you closer, your forearms resting against the bar countertop.
"I hadn't thought it possible to love you any more than I already did."
You laughed at that, pressing your forehead against your husband's with a sigh,
"Well in that case, I suppose it's a good thing that I have all of eternity to prove you wrong, huh?"
Alastor chuckled softly, humming as he took in the sight of you, as if trying to commit each individual detail to memory.
"A good thing, indeed, dear heart."

Heir
Anthony Bridgerton x reader
summary: telling Anthony she's with child after facing difficulties getting pregnant
Tumblr media
It's been three years since the wedding between Anthony Bridgerton and Y/n. The love between the two was one of the strongest anyone could have ever seen, it was obvious that they were made for each other.
They met in a very unusual way. While Anthony was courting Edwina Sharma, Y/n was seen very close to Benedict, the two of them discreetly courting each other. However, they both quickly realized that the connection between them was better as a friendship than a romantic relationship, where things seemed quite forced and uncomfortable. At the same time, Viscount Bridgerton had also broken up with Edwina after she had doubts on their wedding day.
Y/n remembered that day perfectly. She was sitting next to Benedict and the Bridgerton family on the chairs waiting for Edwina to appear and the wedding to begin. She waved a fan, trying to alleviate the horrible heat in that room. The delay seemed to make everyone nervous, especially Anthony who had drops of sweat falling from his forehead and was speaking hurriedly to his mother.
Finally, the doors opened, but, to everyone's surprise, it wasn't Edwina walking down the aisle, it was Kate Sharma, her sister. She didn't look happy, walking with an air of confidence and a serious expression, her eyes never leaving Anthony. The two exchanged quick words, until Anthony dropped his head and closed his eyes in frustration, but he still nodded and Kate left.
After a few tense seconds, Anthony finally had the courage to look at the people watching the scene and said that the wedding had been cancelled, before leaving the room too, leaving the murmur that formed.
"What a scandal." a lady gossiped with another, the two starting a conversation about what could have happened, some theories being completely ridiculous and that could ruin the family's reputation.
Y/n couldn't help herself and turned to them with a polite but sarcastic smile. "My apologies for interrupting, but the only scandal here is the fact that your son, who decided to be a priest, got so many prostitutes pregnant that only they could fill an entire line of these."
The woman gasped in horror while Benedict, who was listening to the conversation, had difficulty containing his laughter. "You foolish girl, how dare—"
"Excuse me, but I have better things to do than sit here and imagine what could have happened." Y/n got up from her chair, looking at the women one last time before going to try and find Anthony.
Despite being acquaintances, since Y/n was so close to Benedict, the two had never spoken much. However, the woman was still worried about Viscount. When she found him, sitting on the porch floor with his head in his hands, Y/n kept him company, also sitting in silence. From then on, a relationship was formed between the two that quickly became inseparable.
"My love, daydreaming again?" Anthony hummed, breaking Y/n out of his thoughts. The man wrapped his shoulders around her waist and pulled her closer, gently kissing her head. "What are you thinking about?"
"How lucky I am."
"Well, I'm the lucky one. I have a beautiful wife who I love very much. I couldn't live without you." he confessed, causing a blush to appear on her cheeks as it always did when he pronounced his love for her. "I have to go finish some paperwork, but then I'll come see you so we can go visit Daphne's son."
Y/n nodded, giving him a quick kiss and sighing as she watched him go to his office. Daphne had just had her second child, a beautiful baby boy. The couple was going to visit the family so that Y/n could help with whatever her sister-in-law needed while Anthony and Simon were going to entertain the baby's brother, a toodler who demanded a lot of attention.
Even though Y/n loved their children with all her heart, it only reminded her of what she couldn't give Anthony. The couple had been trying to get pregnant since they got married, but without success. Anthony's wife had already cried on his shoulder many times because she couldn't carry the child, her heart breaking every time she started her period.
Even though the Bridgerton man assured her several times that all he needed to be happy was her, Y/n still wanted to give him a heir. She wanted the house to be full of their children's laughter and for them to be able to create a mini version of them, a product of their love.
However, he tried not to occupy his days thinking solely about that. It was enough of all the doctors she had seen who told her that it was her fault, that her womb was not capable of developing a baby. Of course, Anthony, as soon as he heard those accusations and the look of complete heartbreak from his wife, demanded that they leave his house.
Y/n she couldn't take the blame anymore, going into a state of shock and for three days she refused to get out of bed. However, her husband would not accept that. He just wanted her to be happy, even if they never had children.
"We don't need children to be happy, I only need you. We have so many nieces and nephews who can take on my role, and we can take care of them from time to time, I'm sure my siblings wouldn't mind." Y/n remembered Anthony telling her this firmly, his hands grabbing her cheeks as they both had tears in their eyes.
And since then, they've never brought it up again.
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
"Lady Bridgerton, are you feeling alright?" one of the maids asked worriedly when she saw Y/n enter the dining room for breakfast, immediately turning paler when she smelled the eggs. "Should I fetch for Viscount Bridgerton?"
She had time to shake her head before running to the nearest bathroom, dropping herself onto the cold floor and emptying the contents of her stomach. She could feel tears forming in her eyes, gagging at the sour taste that remained in her mouth. With unsteady legs, she got up and went to wash her mouth, the maids who entered the bathroom right after her helped her to hold herself upright.
However, she quickly realized that she wasn't finished yet when a new wave of nausea consumed her and she knelt again in front of the toilet. She felt strong hands, which she recognized as Anthony's, caress her face before grabbing her hair.
"Oh, Anthony…" she moaned in discomfort. "I don't want you to see me like this."
"Hey, none of that. Come here, love." he comforted, helping turn her around and supporting her against the wall when she was finished. He took a towel and started wiping her mouth.
When Y/n had the strength to open her eyes, she saw her husband's face analyzing her closely, looking for anything that could be wrong. The concern that swam in his eyes made her raise a hand and rest it on his cheek, and he turned slightly to be able to give her a lingering kiss on her palm.
"How are you feeling? I'm going to call the doctor. Are you okay with staying with one of the maids until I get back?"
Y/n held his arm, preventing him from getting up. "No, please don't go. I'm alright now. If this continues, I promise you can call the doctor, this is probably an one time thing. Let's not worry about it."
Anthony sighed, locked in a staring contest with the most important woman in his life. Accepting defeat, but with a serious look that screamed that if that happened again she would see a doctor, the Viscount picked up Y/n, carrying her to their bed.
Laying her down gently and helping Y/n take off her dress, the man pulled the covers up, making sure she was comfortable. Afterwards, he took off his shirt and pants, lying down next to her.
"What are you doing? We can't be in bed already, especially you. It's only morning, we still have many obligations to fulfill."
"No. My wife is not feeling well, and I'm going to take care of her. The paperwork can wait, as well as all my meetings. I just want you to be healthy." Anthony brought her closer to him, Y/n resting her head on his chest so she could hear his heartbeat. "Now, sleep. You need it."
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
It happened again. More specifically, two more times Y/n threw up her meals. The first time, she was alone and not wanting to worry anyone, she preferred to remain silent. After all, she could still be recovering from some kind of illness. The second time, it was in the presence of her most trusted maid, who she considered a friend, Joanne. And so she begged her not to tell the Bridgerton man about it, claiming she would see someone.
Alone, because in addition to feeling sick, she also realized that her period, which was always regular, should have already arrived. Her first thought was that she was pregnant. But upon thinking better, she questioned this possibility. After so many years of trying and failing, why would she be pregnant now? There must be another explanation.
However, she did not share these possibilities with Anthony because the last thing she wanted was to give him hope only to end up disappointed with her inability to give him a heir. Fortunately, Joanne accompanied her, helping Y/n explain to the doctor why the Viscount wasn't there with her.
And when she left that office, she could feel her legs losing strength. She placed a hand on her chest, starting to find it difficult to breathe in completely, still shocked by what the doctor had said to her.
Pregnant.
She was carrying Anthony's child in her womb, something they thought to be impossible. She was going to be a mother. Even though Anthony always assured her that he was completely happy with just her, Y/n knew that he would love being a father. At the beginning of their marriage, he had revealed to her that he dreamed of their family, their chhildren running through the garden while he chased after them and Y/n watched while sitting under the shade, her hand on her swollen belly.
And, by a miracle, this dream could become reality.
"Lady Bridgerton, are you ready to return to the mansion?" Joanne questioned after Y/n sat down in the carriage, her hands shaking together in her lap. Her gaze was understanding, in case she needed a few more moments alone to process this, but her lips held a small smile.
"I'm going to be a mother." she whispered.
"A wonderful, beautiful mother, I'm sure. Congratulations, Lady Bridgerton." she smiled, feeling enormous happiness for Y/n. She knew how much the couple had suffered. "Shall we return?"
Y/n nodded, no longer trusting her voice to speak. The woman took advantage of the short trip to process everything that was happening and before she knew it she was already in front of Anthony's office door.
With barely controlled excitement, she knocked on the door, waiting for permission to enter. When she heard Anthony's voice, she timidly opened the door, seeing that her husband was gathered with his brothers.
"Oh, my apologies. I didn't know your brothers were here. I can come back later."
"Nonsense, love. They can just leave." Anthony said, leaning back in his chair and opening his arms, an invitation for Y/n to come to him. The man, after already having Y/n in his arms, looked at Benedict and Collin, who were looking at him with a smirk. "Did you not hear? I told you to leave."
"Anthony, be nice!"
"It's not a problem, Y/n, we know when we are not wanted. Come on, Benedict, let's leave the lovebirds alone." Collin teased, getting up with his brother and leaving the room, but first, he took Y/n's hand and brought it to his lips. Benedict, for instance, kissed her cheek in a brotherly way. Despite their farewell with Y/n, Anthony was completely ignored by his brothers.
"Did you need something?" the man asked, putting all of his attention on Y/n, who began to fidget with her fingers nervously.
"Actually, I have to tell you something. I went to the doctor today…"
"What? Y/n, why didn't you tell me? Did you feel bad again? Nauseous? What did the doctor say? Are you okay?"
"Calm down, my love. I'm better than fine. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about being sick again, but I didn't want to worry you." she admitted, feeling guilty that Anthony was feeling precisely what she didn't want. "Well, I received some very interesting news."
"Please, just tell me what's wrong. I can't bear not knowing if something is wrong with you." he muttered with a pained look, as if he felt physical pain when thinking about the possibility of Y/n being hurt or unwell.
"Anthony…" she said his name with so much love that he shuddered. "I'm pregnant."
A silence formed in the room. Anthony took so long to react, just looking at her intensely as if he didn't know what was true or not, that Y/n began to feel worry invade her system. Was he not happy? Did he not want a child with her anymore?
"W-What?" Anthony finally managed to whisper, his heart having stopped as soon as he heard those words. "You're pregnant? With my child?"
"Well, obviously." Y/n rolled her eyes. "Are you happy?"
"Happy? My love, I'm more than happy. I love you so much. And I love our child too." the man kissed her fiercely, needing to convey all his love and adoration for her in that kiss.
He was addicted to his wife's lips, and now that he knew she was carrying his child, something animalistic was released inside him. Without giving any warning, he grabbed Y/n and twirled her around, without ever taking his lips off hers. Even so, Y/n giggled against them, circling her hands around his neck and holding on tight.
When her feet touched the floor, the Viscount knelt in front of her, his hands resting hesitantly on her stomach. He looked at Y/n in permission, who just nodded in encouragement and placed her hand on his brown hair, stroking his scalp.
Very gently, Anthony kissed his wife's still flat stomach. "Hello, you. I'm your father and I love you and your mother very much. You two are my entire life."
And the two stayed like that for the rest of the day, moving to the bedroom where Anthony continued to talk to Y/n's belly while exchanging passionate kisses with her. A beautiful new stage had begun in their lives, and they couldn't wait to meet their heir.

Lucifer Morningstar x F!Reader
chapter i > chapter ii > chapter iii
[summary: Charlie Morningstar arrives in hell and meets someone from her dad's past when he was an angel.]
warning: mentions of depression: angst: seemingly unrequited love: loneliness: charlie might be ooc:
Charlie gasped her eyes widened with joy, clasping her hands together jumping up and down excitedly. "Are you Y/n?!" She asked, and the angel looked at her shocked, "You already know about me?" the angel looked at the princess of hell, in disbelief.
"Of course, I do!" She exclaimed, remembering the stories her father used to tell her about, [Y/n].
"My dad would tell me stories about you when I was little!" She said smiling, at [Y/n] who's body tensed up for a moment and her cheeks darkened a little. "Really?" She mumbled, under her breath looking away from the princess for a moment. "I thought he'd forgotten about me." She mumbled, her smile faltering for a moment. Before shaking her head. Forcing a smile on her face.
Charlie looked around the angel's office curiously, "So, your father?" said [Y/n], looking over at Charlie, smiling as she continued to look around the room. "So what did your father tell you about me?" She asked, and the princess of hell nodded.
"Good things I hope?" She said, and the princess of hell looked at the angel. "Of course, he said you were the only angel that believed in him." said Charlie, and the angel smiled reminiscing on times that have long since passed.
"We shared the same dream even adding some ideas onto each others, expanding on them. " said [Y/n], looking down her angelic wings seemed to go limp at her side as she frowned, "That was eons ago," She said, looking down.
Their conversation went on for what seemed like hours, the angel saw so much of the one she loved in his daughter. [Y/n] talked about Lucifer, and stories that he never told Charlie. Charlie watched as the angel's eyes sparkled as she talked about memories. [Y/n]'s heart seemed to swell, and then to suddenly falter back to sadness as she remembered, that she was to shy too scared to confess her feelings for the man she loved.
“You loved him didn’t you?” asked Charlie, and the angel looked over at her in shock and smiled softly, and chuckled softly. “Loved?” said [Y/n], and she smiled her eyes closed as she turned towards Charlie. “I still love him?” She said, her smile forced.
She said, “I couldn't bring myself to tell him,” She wrapped her arms around herself, taking a deep breath and letting out a sigh. “I was afraid of ruining the friendship we already had.” She said, placing her hand on her head her thumb resting on her cheek, as she turned away from Charlie. Letting out a sigh, “I-If he didn’t accept my feelings, I didn't wanna lose what we already had." She bit her lip nervously, and turned back towards Charlie.
“S-So I didn’t." She said, looking at Charlie. The Princess of Hell, could see the sadness and loneliness in her eyes. Eyes that were filled with so much regret, "So, I watched as he fell in love with another." Her voice cracking slightly, clearing her throat she continued.
She pursed her lips inward, "Did and said nothing as he was banished to Hell," She looked down, "But, I can't take back what happened eons ago." She said, forcing a smile on her face as she looked at Charlie.
"So tell me about this Hazbin Hotel, I've been hearing so much about?" She asked, curiously and Charlie's eyes lit up. "Your father, wouldn't of set up a meeting with Heaven, without a reason." She said, and Charlie nodded.
[Y/n] listened intently about Charlie's plan, even though she was going to hear it again in court. She nodded in response smiling, "Sounds intriguing." the angel said, looking at the girl. "I do agree that everyone deserves a second chance." She said, a smile growing across Charlie's face.
"If those sinners that come to the hotel are willing." She added, placing her hands on her desk and sighed. "But, it isn't me who you are going to have too convince." She added, and Charlie looked at her, "But, I believe in the cause." She said, smiling looking at the princess of hell.
[Y/n] looked at Charlie and saw so much of her father in her, her heart couldn't help but ache. "You remind me of your father." Charlie looked at her and smiled, "Thank you, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be here right now." said Charlie, “The apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree.” said [Y/n] a hint of sadness in her voice.
Charlie smiled softly, "You really do love my dad don't you?" asked Charlie, and the angel looked away closing her eyes for a moment. Taking a deep breath and with a solemn look on her face, she turned back towards Charlie. "More than anything." said [Y/n] sadly, the room filled with silence. She still loves him even after eons have since passed they've last seen each other, "Sorry, I shouldn't even be saying this to you." She said shaking her head.
She scoffed at herself, "Telling you his daughter that I've got some silly crush on him," She shook her head and placed her head on her desk, "Ugh, I'm so pathetic!" She groaned, into her desk. For eons, after Lucifer was banished to Hell. [Y/n] hasn't been the same since forcing a fake smile on her face, while doing her daily angelic duties. With a fake smile plastered on her face.
One the inside she was hurting. She was lonely. She was depressed. Filled with so much regret being the cause of her own lonely existence. If she wasn't such a coward maybe things would've ended up differently maybe they wouldn't?
Charlie placed a hand on shoulder causing [Y/n], to lift her head and look up at her. "I'm sure he misses you just as you miss him." said Charlie smiling, trying to comfort the angel as much as she could.
"He used to tell me so many amazing and wonderful things about you," She said. [Y/n]'s lower lip started to quiver as tears welled up in her eyes, hiding her head into desk. She glanced over at the clock on the wall; lifting her head up from the desk. She wiped away her tears, "I-It's almost time for the court meeting. You should probably get ready." said [Y/n], as she stood up from her chair.
"Maybe, you can visit once this is all over?" Charlie said, and the angel looked at her and smiled, "I'm sure that would make both his and yours day." The angel really could see so much of the man she loved in his daughter, "That sounds like a dream to me." said [Y/n], as she walked towards the door and placing her hand on the door knob.
She missed him dearly and for many years she stayed in heaven, wallowing in self-pity and regret. Loneliness and heartbreak. Grieving over the lover she was to cowards to confess her feelings towards.
"But, I don't know. Right now you should focus on convincing the angels." She said looking at the young demon, as her gaze drifted towards the ground. "I-I shouldn't of even mentioned what I said today." She said a solemn look on her face.
"You have nothing to apologize for." She said, looking at Charlie and smiling, "I have only myself to blame." She smiled sadly, and Charlie and the princess of hell a gave her a sympathetic smile. As Charlie left the room, "Charlie?" The Princess stopped and turned around, "When you see him again." She said, "L-Let him know." She stammered, nervously biting her lip her wings limp at her side.
"L-Let him know that I miss him more than anything," She said sadly, and Charlie smiled and nodded. [Y/n] watched as she walked away, and closed the door behind her and turned away. Leaning her back against the door, she sank to the ground and brought her knees to her chest and cried. "I really am pathetic," She sniffled, once again wallowing in self-pity.
"E-Even, if I were to go and visit would he even wanna see me?" She mumbled, maybe she should. She didn't expect anything from it but, maybe it would fill the hole in her immortal heart. The thought of seeing him again brought a smile to her face, she really did love him with every fiber of her being. She envied Lilith and was jealous of her not in a hateful or spiteful way.
She just..[Y/n] sighed, wiping away her tears. Standing to her feet and dusting herself off, taking a deep breath in and exhaling. As she placed her hand on the doorknob, sighed, leaving her office and making her way towards the courthouse.
If only she knew how much he truly did miss her, as on his desk. Sat a rubber duck that shared the same angelic features as her, wings and all. If only she knew how is heart would ache, as he would glance at it.
if only she knew
how much she truly means to him
a/n: ngl..i kinda wanna maybe make her charlie's stepmom.. i mean she still loves lilth of course but.. i mean.. like.. come on.. i should..

↬ GOJO
He doesn’t think you’ve looked more breath-taking than you do right then, humming softly to the music on the radio while painting your toenails, the last stretch of daylight kissing your exposed knees through the window. You’re so lost in your own little world that you don’t notice him watching you.
The important emails on his phone go unanswered, saved for another day when you’re not there to distract him. You stretch your smooth legs to inspect your work and glance across the living room to give him one of those soft smiles that sends warmth through his middle.
“What do you think?” you ask, little sunflower yellow toes flexing on the coffee table.
“They’re pretty, baby.”
Another smile stretches across your face, that full lower lip caught between your teeth. “You think so?”
“Positive.” His phone lies forgotten on the cushion beside him, and he leans back to make room for you. “Come here.”
His eyes make a lazy trail up from your delicate ankle bone to the soft slope of your collarbone that peeks out from one of his t-shirts as you walk towards him, getting his fill until his fingers itch to touch and retrace the invisible path.
Gojo can’t help it. He’s struck by the sight of you.
He wishes he could trap the shocked and delighted sound you make when he pulls you into his lap, keep it tucked away in the untainted nooks and crannies for him to return to later. A little melody on repeat for the days he feels undeserving of such sweet things, how he treads the fine line of corrupting that wide-eyed innocence you have of the world.
Still. Still, the truth is, he’s a little greedy, and he doesn’t really care how bad of a person that makes him.
Everyone looks up to him in some way. Nobody ever called him a saint.
Gojo works out more of those soft sounds—pressing you against the chilly, tall windows in the living room, fist in your hair, and his mouth attached to the long column of your throat—that make his mouth go dry. Your back arches to ease the way he fucks up into you, tits brushing up against the glass, and he loves how the distant city lights below shimmer around you like a halo.
A high-pitched whimper, sharp breaths fogging over the window. “‘Toru people can see.”
He doesn’t think he’ll ever tire of how your soft and silky little cunt sucks him in—wrapped up all warm and wet around his cock—cursing under his breath when he tells you he doesn’t care. You’re his, anyway.
“Let them see,” he grunts into your neck, teeth catching along your skin before licking at the vulnerable spot above your pulse. “Let them see how I fuck you because they can’t have you.”
Gojo can barely control himself at the mere idea that anyone would ever think they could. He’ll be the last and only one to know how you turn into a fucking vice when he hits particularly deep—how you shake like a leaf, legs coltish, after he makes you cum hard.

It feels like the epitome of terrible days: from the tomato stain on your skirt to your boss forcing deadlines down your throat and surprising Suguru at work only to find a pretty, willowy brunette sitting on the corner of his desk, her hand resting on a stack of graded papers, and fluttering her long lashes at him.
The final nail in the coffin (a stupid nail, but a hammered-down nail nonetheless) is how she laughs and touches his arm, and Suguru doesn’t brush her off. He actually laughs back, all perfectly straight teeth on display and eyes crinkling at the corners. One of those heart-stopping smiles stretching across his face that you foolishly thought were all yours.
Suddenly, you wonder if it was out of obligation that made him compliment you that morning in your dress—look at you, a kiss to your cheek, I’m going to fucking ruin you—a perfunctory greeting after being together so long (like making coffee or picking out paint), to make you feel better, or if he meant it—
A tap with sticky fingers to your cheek. “C’mon, watch.”
You feel like you’re looking from the outside in, a spectator with a front-row seat that has your breath catching in your throat at the sight of his spit-slick chin and cheeks resting against the crease where thigh meets hip. He gives you a syrupy grin that tightens something in your stomach like a screw.
“Not me,” he says, words laced with amusement.
Hesitantly, your gaze trails up from his to the floor-length mirror perched in front of the bed, and what you see has your fingers sinking into the sheets.
You can hardly pull your eyes away from how your leg looks draped across his broad, muscular back, making you look so small even though you sit above him. And it’s like Suguru knows what you’re seeing because his grin grows wider.
“See, look how perfect you are. That woman in the mirror is so fucking pretty, I can’t believe I get to tell everyone she’s mine.” His thumb parts you open for his mouth. “Why would you think you look otherwise, huh?”
“I…don’t know,” you whisper, head a fuzzy mess of weak excuses that evaporate before they even have a chance to make it onto your tongue.
“Hm, that’s not a good enough answer.”
Your hips twitch when he noses at your clit.
“Awe, I bet that feels good, huh? I’m gonna show you what happens when you talk bad about my pretty baby,” then he sucks it into his mouth, making you squeal.
He can’t blame you for squeezing your eyes shut at the slick, hot pressure dragging through your folds—shaky fingers tightening in Suguru’s long, dark hair. It feels equally like everything and not nearly enough until he suddenly pulls away, taking that jittery feeling in your belly with him.
“Why’d you—”
“If you look away, I stop.” He chuckles lightly at the little pout you give him before his lips suck at the tender spot near the crease of your thigh, “so watch.”

After lunch, he drags you across the street where there’s a park for him to set up a picnic blanket under a tree. Kento rests his head on your lap, slipping an arm around your waist and rubbing the sore spot in your lower back from being on your feet for too long.
It’s all very innocent: him kissing your round pregnant belly, you running your fingers through his soft hair and talking about the latest work gossip.
You hum when you feel his fingers crawl up your thigh, slowly at first and with no destination, just soft, aimless circles here and there, until the calloused pad of his thumb skirts over the front of your underwear, making you jerk with a small squeak.
“Kento,” you giggle, fingers tightening in his hair.
He smiles at the scandalized look spreading across your face and leans forward to press another kiss against your stomach.
"Do you trust me?" he asks, hand pushing up your dress.
You glance around the park to see if anyone is paying attention to the two of you—an elderly couple feeding the ducks frozen peas by the pond, a mother and father playing with their giggling daughter in the grass, college kids throwing a frisbee, all far enough away to be out of earshot (but that’s not the real problem here)—before you look back at your husband.
“W-what?” you sputter, wide-eyed realization taking over.
He presses another open-mouthed kiss to your thigh. “Do you trust me?”
A soft whine slips past your teeth, the hand not in his hair curling into the blanket. “But everyone will notice because I’m—I’m—”
(A beached whale. An air balloon. A carnival-sized melon. You get the gist.)
“Gorgeous.” He smooths a hand over your bump, open-fondness radiating across his features, the subtle hint of possessiveness there making you shiver. “You look so fucking gorgeous with my baby growing inside you. Let me take care of you.”
“B-but—”
Everything else melts away to the pulsing heat between your legs and your husband groaning from the wetness he finds there. Your shaky thighs fall open wider when his fingers hook under the edge of your underwear (unflattering things worn for comfort over sexual appeal), pulling them aside to run his fingers through your slick seam.
Pregnancy brain clouds your judgment, and before you can think twice about your actions, how you definitely shouldn’t let Kento eat you out in the middle of a public park, you nod your head.
His lips ghost over the tender flesh of your upper thigh. "I need to hear you say it."
It’s a low and shaky yes that has his fingers finally sinking into you to the third knuckle, steadily pumping in and out of you. You buck down onto his hand, trying to bite back the moan threatening to alert everyone in the park of the head under your skirt.
“You’re going to cum for me, just like this,” Kento tells you, voice muffled by a layer of powder blue cotton. “Alright, darling?”
