The one where having a secret lab in the basement is not as much of a red flag as it should be.

Because somehow, EVERY. SINGLE. ADULT. IN ALL OF AMITY. Have “secret” basements.

Sure, MOST of them have refitted them to act as emergency bunkers in case there’s another large-scale ghost attack, with rations and shields and blankets and all that, BUT. Even BEFORE the portal opened up, they were there.

Some of them were laboratories dedicated to one of many sciences. Some of them were just storage for the more concerning family heirlooms. At least one person kept the taxidermied bodies of each and every pet they had over their lifetime. Really, it was more odd for someone to not have some weird secret in their basement.

So when Danny ran from Amity and learned just how many people didn’t have strange, niche basements for their hobbies, he was a little put off. When he was eventually asked to stay with the Wayne family in Gotham, well, maybe he could have phrased it better.

How was he supposed to know that asking if they had a “super-secret basement either for your job, your personal life, or disaster prevention” would lead to them thinking he knew about their nightlife?

I think we should look into Bruce Wayne’s garden people

He’s rich with a BIG ass property

Someone needs to cut that grass, fix up the flowers, trim a few trees, help the vegetables and fruits not get tangled, make sure the grave-yard doesn’t get overrun with weeds, etc etc

And, well, Alfred is getting a little too old to stay out in the sun that long/doesn’t have time with … other duties

*cracks knuckles* we know Tyler isn’t the original Clancy right? Y’all caught that? Clancy’s bishop was Keons, Tyler’s is Nico, and now “Clancy” is Tyler. Because “scaled and icy” is an anagram for “Clancy is dead” and that album was the one where dema was using Tyler’s popularity for their own purposes. Clancy failed to stop the cycle on his own, and despite already being used as a figurehead for dema, Tyler decided to take up the role of “Clancy” in the wake of what seemed like a total collapse of the Banditos. Their leader had been taken out, and now they had no one to organize them.

But Tyler taking on the name Clancy isn’t him taking on the role of leader or even organizer. He is showing us (the Banditos) that we all can be our own inspiration, we don’t need a figure to follow, we don’t need a leader to lead us. We can do this, fight dema, ourselves.

Hot take but I think as fun as it is to apply angst and go in depth into the characters with the egg beef, I think that how lighthearted and silly it is makes it much more fun and refreshing. Not every part of lore has to be angsty and intense, sometimes it can be silly and goofy. Sometimes little girls just hate each other on sight and need to fist fight every other Tuesday 🤷🏻‍♀️

Theory about the ending of the vid (it’s gonna take ages to figure out the whole thing if it’s even possible 😭). I could be totally off base but:

At the end here they have a bit of a joke, and then El seems to say something to Mike and he darts his eyes away multiple times, kind of nervous-seeming all of a sudden? And makes a face like he’s trying to act innocent or clueless or something? Idk how to explain it you have to watch. But it made me think…what if she asked him about Will? It cuts off way too quick to get more info but:

My baseless (for now, except this^) theory: what if Mike found out how Will feels and is in denial, and El knows about their predicament somehow. More context from just before this moment: from what I could tell, the thing they were joking about seemed like a thing El was worried he wouldn’t want to do now that they’re friends. But when he said ‘of course’ (very easy to make out) they can, maybe she was like hmm but how would Will feel?? Idk just an idea I’m chewing on…..
