Thinking abt villain Dia and villain Iris now and like
Idk, idk where I'm going w this but I'm just gonna spit this out before it haunts me for the rest of the week hahah
Anyways
Smth smth abt how both of them were treated back then and how they treat people now
Like,, Diantha was hurt physically. Her mother would hit her, she burnt her skin, would slap her, even pour liquor on her, telling her to stop crying, crying shows weakness. And then there's her acting career and such and how some roles would often demand more from her body and it'd fuck her up sometimes. There's Ignis, one of the former Elite Four, how he tore apart the LucarioMan cape and hat Drasna got for her, kicking her to the ground, going on how she's a Champion, she should act like one, not act like a child. But she was a child. She was just a child and everyone fucking hated her. Scars and burns littered her body beneath all that concealer and make up and she fucking hated it.
Iris was hurt emotionally. No one ever hit her or anything like that, but rather they'd make fun of her, taunt her, make snide comments on anything abt her. Even as she grew up, everyone looked down on her. Always a shadow of Drayden, a shadow of Alder, a shadow of Hilbert and Hilda. She'd hear comments on how she's just trying too hard, how they still don't see her as a Champion, how could they if they never even saw her as a proper Gym Leader back then. She was always seen as a child by everyone, even after years, still going on how she's just embarrassing herself w how hard she's trying and failing. No matter what she does, everyone fucking hated her. Underneath her faux persona of optimism, her heart was already broken by their piercing words.
But Diantha lacked the physical strength to hit back, instead, she relied on her wits. She was a smart kid. Drasna always told her that, she was rather smart for her age, she knows a lot. About people especially. She knows how to break someone with just her words, knows their deepest fears and insecurities, knows all their imperfections, knows all their flaws. And she'd be the one to voice it, she'd be the one to tell them how they're unfit to live in this world, tell them how useless they truly are, how weak they were.
Iris didn't lack that strength, rather the people of Unova denied she was ever strong in the first place. And if they didn't see it the first time, then she'll show it to them again. She spared no one, made them see how powerful she truly was. The people of Unova didn't appreciate her strength, but Kyurem did, Plasma did. Plasma became so much better with her as the new leader now. They were stronger, even the Heroes were struggling against them. She knows how weak the people of Unova are, and here she is, taunting them about their own strength. She watches them from above, watches them run and cry and scream and fight, fruitless she'd say, as they continue to struggle under Plasma's power, and their fate being sealed with Kyurem's Glaciate.

my memory might not be great, butttt there isn't much about only shinsou troubles, but there are places where he is a main character along side the typical major players of canon, like persona au with an early meeting, likewise in decay iris but in the other direction, but also those aus that he is along for the ride both willingly and not so, like build-a-villain and when the chips are down.

“He’ll listen to loud music only,” you said as you picked the flower petals and dropped them into the bowl.
“He’ll have wild hair and only dress in black.”
You sprinkled in some of the herbs.
“He’ll tell stories so imaginative that’ll it’ll feel like you’re really there.”
“He’ll have brown eyes, so large and beautiful that it’ll feel like you’re melting when you’re looking into them.”
“He’ll have a heart of gold and will stand up for those who need it.”
“He won’t fear me or my magic,” your young voice cracked, remembering the mean kids at school.
You were imagining your perfect knight in shining armor to protect you from your bullies. You were leaving soon, going away from Hawkins to a town where no one knew you or your sister so you could have a normal life.
You moved around the greenhouse, plucking your supplies and putting them in the bowl.
It was a random idea, mostly out of curiosity and boredom after you found the spell in your aunts spell book.
“I thought you didn’t believe love spells were ethical,” your sister said, face scrunched as she took in what you were doing.
You shrugged, “It’s more like a wish. He probably doesn’t even exist anyway.”

You were letting the sun soak into your skin, humming as you flipped through the pages of your book.
This town had been turned upside down when you arrived back home after over fifteen years away. You were now into your adult years and kept to yourself but people still treated you like a villain.
People shot you dirty looks as they passed by you in the park. Your family and it’s history ran deep and people in small towns didn’t tend to forget.
The quilt underneath of you was something your mother’s mother had made and it pulled you into sleep, especially with the cushioning of the grass underneath.
You woke up with a gasp. You were drowning, just like this town had drown the witches before you in lovers lake, or so the stories go.
“Hey!” A voice cut through your gasping. “Why’d you do that, you fucking asshole?!”
You cracked your eyes open, hands grasping the quilt that was still underneath of you. You were still in the park, very much on dry land. But your face, hair, and front of your white summer dress were soaked from the water the snickering kids had dumped on you.
“She didn’t do anything to bother you, you little shits!” The voice yelled, coming closer.
The group of kids paled, running when they saw you had opened your eyes.
Every one is brave until the witch looks their way.
“You okay?” The man asked, leaning down and putting his face near yours.
“I’m okay. Sorry, it just scared me,” you said, breath hitching as you looked into two brown eyes.
You were melting, floating away by how intoxicating the chocolate and gold of his iris mixed together.
He’ll have brown eyes, so large and beautiful that it’ll feel like you’re melting when you’re looking into them.
He looked dazed as well, blinking a few times.
“I, uh, sorry.” He said awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his neck.
“No, no. It’s okay. Thank you for coming to my rescue,” you said with a smile.
“No problem. I’m not gonna just stand around when there’s a damsel in distress.”
He’ll have a heart of gold and will stand up for those who need it.
“Well, I’m sure this damsel in distress was gasping like a fish out of water,” you joked.
“I almost didn’t hear it sent my music was playing so loud,” he said as he gestured to his earphones.
He’ll listen to loud music only.
You sat back on your wet quilt. He stayed knelt in front of you. Not saying anything but still not wanting to leave quite yet.
You took in his appearance, the way he wore his hair and dressed.
He’ll have wild hair and only dress in black.
He blushed when you realized he was examining you the same way you were examining him.
“What’s that?” You asked, looking at the black journal he had tucked under his arm.
“Oh, that’s just stories that I write. It’s kind of lame but-”
“I don’t think that’s lame at all,” you interrupted.
“Did you want to read some?” He asked shyly, holding the journal out to you.
You took it, setting it on your lap as he sat next to you on the quilt, so close that your legs were touching.
He won’t fear me or my magic.
Younger you would be amazed.
Not only did the man you wished for exist but his name was Eddie Munson.

Wally: I think I understand breaking a person's legs for nothing is wrong!
Dick: B, we came from the same circus, I tell him everything duh.

So do you ever, like - accidentally get inspired to create a whole AU based on an old Tumblr text post, and you know you can't add it to your actual fic list because your existing WIP's are waiting for you, but you end up writing a snippet of it anyway? Yeah. Yeah, me too.
Jimmy knows he's not fully with it when he walks into the villains’ bar this time. He has a new name on his list from Make-a-Wish - Supreme this time - and he's only halfheartedly searching the by-now-familiar faces for the person he needs to talk to. He's not registering much of anything though, and it becomes apparent when two people step in his path and he doesn't notice until he's almost running into them. It's Joel, and it's Tango - Trickster and Phoenix - and the expressions on their faces are different flavors of the same thing. Anger, maybe, but not at Jimmy, simmering below the surface in Tango's case and being held back by a tense jaw in Joel's. And concern too, he thinks, concern and sympathy and-
"Hey Songbird," Tango greets him, sounding just to the left of the normal fond tone he uses when he sees Jimmy. "How're you holding up?"
"I...sorry?" Jimmy blinks, not quite understanding, and Joel casts a glance around the bar before settling back on Jimmy.
"We heard about Mercy."
Mercy - oh. Mercy Children's Hospital. Susie. Jimmy's chest goes tight and he swallows past a lump in his throat. A warm hand settles on his shoulder and he's steered over to a booth in the corner, Tango sandwiching him in on one side and Joel taking a seat across the table. Jimmy sucks down a shuddering breath.
"...you heard?"
Joel scoffs. "We've been trying to find that bastard since the news broke this morning," he bites out. "The minute the Count gets back we'll know where he is."
"You - what?" Jimmy stares, surprised. "You're trying to find him?"
"Absolutely." Tango, this time, his arm around Jimmy's shoulders emanating a warmth that he hadn't realized was helping to calm him down. "We're going after that jerk the second we have the chance. The guy crossed a line, big time."
Oh. Oh, gosh. Jimmy's vision just barely begins to blur with tears, and he feels Tango's arm tighten around him. There's quiet murmuring around him but he can't bring himself to listen.
They're going after Vortex. Jimmy's biggest mistake in his life, and here Tango and Joel are ready to help fix it the second they have the chance. And Grian always said villains weren't to be trusted...
"There's a bunch of others who signed up for the mission," Tango is saying, and Jimmy tunes back in. "Supreme and Iris and Worm Man and some o' the others. They were pretty pissed when they found out-"
"And we'll keep your name out of it, o' course," Joel goes on, and Jimmy blinks away tears to focus on him better. Joel rakes a hand back through his green-streaked hair and shrugs. "You're not involved. Keep your record clean, all that-"
"No."#Jimmy is almost surprised to hear himself say it, and Joel looks surprised too, his eyebrows flying high.
"What, you want us to leave him alone? Dunno if I can do that, Jim-"
"No, I mean I want to be involved," Jimmy insists. "I want in."
This time it's Tango who's surprised, ducked forward to catch Jimmy's eye.
"You sure, sweetheart?" he murmurs, his hair licking with tiny flames. Concerned, probably. "It's not gonna be pretty."
"I'm sure." And he is. He's seen fights before, and he's been in even more. He's fought criminals on the streets who were going to hurt people, and he's not about to balk at going after someone who already has. "I can handle it."
"You're gonna need to hide your identity," Joel drawls, his voice low. "Wouldn't want our favorite civilian going to jail on our account."
"I know," Jimmy nods. "I've got something I can wear." He's already picturing the yellow-and-black costume currently hanging at the back of his closet, of the feather-trimmed mask in his top dresser drawer. The suit and the mask that even Tango doesn’t know exists, not yet. Jimmy ponders for a moment before making a decision. His eyes catch Joel and Tango's in turn. "Actually...I think there's something I need to show you."

The arrest had gone far smoother than expected, in Grian’s opinion. It’s not often that a high-priority villain is found bruised and bloody and practically gift-wrapped right where an anonymous tipper said he would be. Sure, vigilantes were kind enough to help them take down bad guy when they were able, but this time was different. This time there was no masked wannabe hero trying to take credit for a takedown, no signature calling card or note beyond the unsigned “He’s all yours, boys” that had been scribbled on cardboard hanging around Vortex’s neck.
It had felt odd, is all, though Grian had agreed with his partner when Scar had said he was just grateful to have the guy off the streets. As Grian slips into his apartment through the bedroom window and shoulders open the door to grab some food, he has to force himself to brush the buzzing thoughts aside. He can ponder oddities later. It was a long shift, and he’s about ready to crash the second he gets some fuel in him.
It's only when Grian is tugging off his mask and setting it on the table by the bedroom door that he realizes he's not alone. Familiar yellow wings catch his eye, and when he turns, he spots Jimmy sitting on the couch in the middle of the room. He looks exhausted, his Canary costume on and his mask hanging around his neck, and his hair is a wreck - like when he's anxious and has been running his hands through it constantly.
"...heya Tim," Grian greets him slowly, not sure what his brother's presence here means just yet. He drops his crossbow on the table and crosses the room, sinking onto the coffee table in from of Jimmy so he can see him better. His expression is one of a man worn and run down, something shadowed in his eyes that has a frown tugging at Grian's lips. He almost opens his mouth to ask what he's doing here - but then he spots the dark stains on Jimmy's fingerless gloves, and the patch of red that's barely splattered across the yellow parts of his suit's design.
It clicks, then. The timing of it all, the villain - Vortex - that Grian and Scar had been called in to take care of tonight. The man who Grian also knew had been spotted at the Mercy Children's Hospital a few days ago, where that little girl had-
"You were there," Grian says, not a question, just a fact. "Tonight. You went after him."
Jimmy sucks down a shaking breath and nods. Grian would almost say he looks guilty, but he doesn't think Jimmy would feel guilty about going after the person who hurt one of his kids. Perhaps he feels guilty that a kid got hurt at all.
"They helped," he says shakily. "All of - you know, the ones who said yes to visits with the kids. They've been trying to do better, and when Vortex-"
He trails off, and Grian shifts over to the couch, tucking his brother under one of his wings and letting Jimmy slump sideways against him.
"He's locked away, Jimmy," Grian tells him. "I promise. You did good."

- after Officially meeting grian, scar makes it a point to visit the barge every day
- grian is not pleased
- joel and jimmy know about grian’s raging crush on hotguy and tease him about it
- they THEN switch to teasing grian about scar and calling him his “secret admirer”
- hotguy tower is open to the public for tours during the day — it’s a publicity thing and cuteguy Hates it because “a villain could attack the place with how vulnerable you leave it!”
- hotguy likes calling cuteguy “birdie”
- he’s also taught cuteguy how to use a bow (cuteguy’s face was so red, hotguy thought he was sick)
- hotguy has a bunch of specialty arrows he uses when fighting
- cuteguy is a close range fighter, while hotguy is more long range. though he Can do close range when he has to
- cuteguy is… very serious about the hero stuff, and when he first started working with hotguy, the man’s unserious attitude really bothered him. cuteguy’s in this for revenge, hotguy isn’t
- hotguy likes to pop into the barge when grian’s closing late and just hang around with him. think like,,, the flash visiting iris
- grian 100% believes scar to be a villain. like this man is Fully sure of it (ironic)
- scar’s tried to give grian scarland merch before as a thank you, and grian was… very not pleased
- cuteguy has definitely saved scar before. and hotguy has definitely saved grian before
- hotguy is the one who gave cuteguy his hero suit when they started working together! before that cuteguy was kinda just running around in sweats
- scar’s brought jellie to the barge before and grian is in love with her. he would give that cat the world. he makes special cat treats just for her
- cuteguy has no idea that hotguy is a vex :)

After a failed suicide attempt, years of bullying, and his mother's death, Izuku Midoriya doesn't think he has any option besides joining the League of Villains. After all, foster care is no place for a quirkless kid like him. Plus, working as a hacker and analyst for the League doesn't sound like it would be too bad. But, after meeting a hurt little girl in Overhaul's headquarters, Toga and Izuku can't just sit back and take orders from Shigaraki anymore. With some careful consideration, Izuku figures a villain reformation program at UA doesn't sound horrible, even if it means having to put up with Bakugou.
Villain!Izuku is usually a hard sell for me, but this works! Mostly because it shows both how Izuku ended up isolated and needing, AND he immediately turns tail once a kid is in danger. And then good followup on the consequences.

Pain raced up his arm. It was a sharp throb that radiated out. More than a broken bone. When Alec went to flex his hand to see how bad it was he couldn’t. His eyes snapped to his own hand and there was no hand.
A mission gone wrong leads to Alec being turned into a cat. Alone. Hurt. No one aware of what's happened to him.
If only there was a cat-loving warlock nearby to save him.
Hello, I am a sucker for turned-into-a-cat-&-taken-in-by-my-enemy-who-turns-out-to-be-loveable stories - which is a very specific trope, but thankfully people keep writing it! This is a fun exemplar and an interesting AU.

Furiosa doesn't realize she's going to move until she does, leaning across the slight distance between them and pressing her lips to his.

Anyways more stuff and such
•wears her lil crown after the reveal™
-prior to the reveal tho, she always wears her hood up, so no one would recognize it's her
•Champion team is different from her Plasma boss team
-her Champion team is her canon team in bw2
-i did wanna change her team here, going for only three dragons (Kyu, Haxo, Hydra) bc ofc, Ghetsis' team was more diverse
-but I decided against it, as her Champion team was already a bit diverse and the fact that she held on to her words that she's a Dragon Master
-if she can't show it in her Champion team might as well show it through her Plasma boss team
•i changed Plasma's lil emblem thing and such and added more grey to it
-like yeah her whole colour scheme is grey bc it's like the in between of black and white
-also back to the emblem, I made it so it's also a bit similar to how the Legend Badge looks, if you squint really really really hard
-also flipped where the black and white colours were (in the og the black was at the right, the white at the left)
-lowkey tho now that I keep looking at it the P also looks like a scythe
-hah, death motif and how she's the one who decides who lives or dies as she's the one who's in charge of the fate of peoples' lives
•she doesn't look like it here in my lil drawing but in my hcs she's like at least around 20 cause it would make more sense and it's easier for me to make angst of
-but yeah she's following in Diantha and Cynthia's footsteps of gaslighting gatekeeping and girlbossing her way out of anything

evil timkon with conner who's been raised by lex luthor to destroy superman and that's boring but this gotham villain seems fun to hang out with? bart had his evil clone thad, they could do a role reversal so meloni thawne, thinking her son is dead, runs out with his clone and iris sends thad back to the past to wally to be safe, then bart is the one who ends up going after thad because how come his clone got rescued and no one came for him

do you have any headcanons, old or new, for the kf!Barry possibility? i am so intrigued by it, fascinated even and i'm curious about your own takes, or what's the most interesting thing about it to you?
Ahh I love this question! It’s an idea I periodically get obsessed with from time to time, and I’ve talked a bit here about how I’d write it. And to expand:
I’ve never been a fan of Killer Frost’s split personality thing in the show, and it’s not comics accurate, so I’d probably do away with it. It’s just the general colder body temperature affecting his mind (chronic cold effects are terrifying, and that wouldn’t even be as bad as this, because this is inside him), not to mention his constant hunger for body heat to try to reach homeostasis (comics-based and…also, given biology, makes sense)
There’s a few different times I could give Barry powers, though I love the idea of them manifesting during s2 and him using them to defeat Zoom, freezing and shattering him to pieces
On the other hand, I also love the idea of them manifesting during s3, the way KF’s do in canon, maybe after he’s already met his frosty E2 doppelgänger. I doubt he’d team up with Savitar…unless Savitar was Iris and they became a genuine evil duo (not the leader-subordinate dynamic that Savitar and KF had in canon, but a true equal partnership)
He could also get powers in s1, and they start to affect his mind. He’s snappish, more irritable…and most of all, he doesn’t trust Eowells (especially if Iris is the Flash, and CSI Barry’s hero worship for Eowells is overridden by suspicion and worry…especially as he starts noticing more things off about Eowells)
And, to slip in a little Barrisco, I think KF!Barry and Reverb might’ve been the dynamic duo on E2. So KF!Barry on E1 might be very keen to recruit Cisco and replicate that…👀
Maybe he becomes an anti-hero like KF does in canon—still with villainous tendencies, but using them in service of the heroes (I do usually love that trope 💞)
I also have quite a few thoughts about “what if I wrote him in the Morgan AU as a spinoff AU” (4 additional headcanons for anyone interested in that):
He gets powers from the accelerator in s1, and they affect him as per the first headcanon outlined above. And, ofc, no split personality
He doesn’t fall into a coma, and instead, decides to use his powers to protect Central City. He doesn’t tell anyone—and if Iris is the Flash here, he ofc can’t tell her. While out on patrol one night, he meets a young hero who calls themself “Sentry”—definitely a kid or young adult, and definitely in need of guidance. Barry might not know how to be a hero, but he knows how to guide people. Probably (and their powers certainly make them useful…even if he’s horrified at that fleeting thought)
Barry and Morgan’s dynamic is thus pretty different. It’s less equal from the start, and it never really approaches that. Morgan looks up to him, and Barry…doesn’t quite look down on her, but as time passes, it gets close. Even as they become friends outside of their superhero identities, she’s still very much someone he needs to protect, not so much someone he can count on to protect him
He also notices some things are up with Eowells and Morgan. Some…not so great things. As time goes on, a picture starts to form in his head—abuse? Neglect specifically? Something. He’s only a CSI, he can’t investigate that…so he drops anonymous tips to CPS. Eowells gets out of all of them, and Morgan is visibly much more anxious after that, so Barry takes the hint and stops, but he’s still pissed that his effort was futile. But also…maybe it’s for the best. Where would Morgan go? Tina raised her for a little while but gave her back to Eowells, she can’t be trusted. (Maybe the only person he can trust for such a job is himself—and he should be horrified by the thought, but…he’s not)

TWST x Kingdom Keepers #1
Idia Shroud
Welcome to my first official twst x kingdom keepers AU post!! I have,,, m a n y,,, thoughts for this AU, but my storyline for Idia is the most fleshed out right now. This is my VERY (very) rough sketch for him!!
AU/Character Notes below!!
Firstly…
What IS kingdom keepers?
It’s a book series from the early 2000s set in Disney World, but eventually expands to other disney locations as well. Following a group of middle schoolers, Disney has kids auditon to be part of their new “DHI” program (Disney Host Interactive), in which the kids will be motion captured and projected into the parks as holograms to act as virtual tour guides. However, the kids who become DHIs wake up in the parks in their hologram form after they sleep, and realize that all the rides/characters/animatronics/etc are REAL and come to life. Oh yeah also the disney villains have formed a coalition group called the Overtakers and they want to take over the world.
Obviously this series has some connections to TWST, so I think it’d be fun to explore the characters there! (Plus I make a TWST au for everything so-)

All characters are aged down in this AU!! First years are ages 11-12, second years are 13-14, and third years are around 15-16 (Leona being the oldest). There are some exceptions to this, though!
➡️➡️Ortho is 9 (truly a little baby😭😭). Lilia is 17, making him the oldest (ancient) member of the DHI kids.
Rather than just one area, the DHI gang were scouted/auditioned from all over the world. By chance, some of the characters already know eachother or are aware of eachother (similar to canon). When they all showed up for audiovisual recording to be done, it was a little chaotic.
In order to theme their hosts in accordance with the parks, these DHIs were assigned to different units that correspond to different disney properties.
Each unit acts as the hosts for different areas of the magic kingdom, corresponding to their theming. (Ex. Ignihyde/Tomorrowland) however, in later updates to these DHIs, and due to their popularity, guests can choose which DHI to interact with in ANY area of the park through their smartphones.
Unlike the original book, some DHIs were given altered appearances in order to better suit the theming (I.E, Heartslabyul members having card suit face paint, Ignihyde members having blue flame hair).
Each unit also has a unit leader, who serves as the default host selection in their respective regions. These are the house wardens in canon.
notes about Idia:
He is 15 in this AU! Still a gamer though.
His parents are pretty high and mighty in the tech industry, leading him and Ortho to be interested in pursuing it as well.
He’s always wearing the same exact pajamas, barring his constantly rotating armada of cringe 2010s hot topic anime tshirts. (Vil has tried to convince him to get some other clothes. This does not go well).
Him and Ortho made matching friendship bracelets for eachother when they were young, and haven’t taken them off since!
The yellow around his (and ortho’s) iris’ are almost neon, and will shine in the dark like an animals. This gives them a vaguely cat like appearance.
Him and Ortho were homeschooled through very expensive tutors, for better or worse (definitely worse)
Once they begin meeting the other DHI units, Idia begins sleeping with his noise cancelling headphones so they spawn in with him. These people are just too loud.
some Idia origin story notes (not everything!! I wanna write some fics detailing the events more):
The Shroud bros decided to audition to be DHIs out of their mutual want to “become heroes” like in their favorite games and Disney movies (and because they were interested in the new tech)
They both passed the audition, and recorded their lines and mocap stuff smoothly! Unfortunately, soon after the brothers were in an accident that left Ortho near death.
He survived, but has since been comatose, with the doctors projecting an extremely low chance of survival. Although Idia’s parents aren’t hopeful about the circumstances, they agree to keep him on life support because of Idia’s mental state.
(despite the tragic event, the Shroud bros DHIs roll out anyways, and Idia uses the money to pay off the hospital bills. His parents could afford it, but Idia feels responsible)
Since then, Idia has been staying with Ortho in the hospital, never once leaving his side. With his parent’s weight in medical tech, it was pretty easy to allow him to stay there.
When Idia wakes up in the park, the first thing he notices is that his DHI’s flaming blue hair seems to have carried to him. Naturally, he assumes he’s dreaming.
Not long after waking in the park, he felt a familiar tug on the back of his hoodie. Turning, he was face to face with Ortho. Notably, Ortho was completely inhabiting his holographic form, not wearing pajamas but dressed in the style of his DHI.
