How to join us on this adventure

3.Present yourself to the other girls, tell us why you are interested in the topic and what more you want to learn or what you’d like to share!
4.Talk about it with friends! We’d love our little community to expand.
If you see this and you like the idea please reblog! It’s only by having a good number of girls joining that it can benefit all of us xx

We all wanna study hard but some myths don't let us be productive as much as we want to be. 📚 You can perform better when you have pressure of deadline being tomorrow:- This is a total myth guys. Since if your deadline is tomorrow, you will feel way much more pressured that the creative side of your mind won't help you much and you will end up being less efficient with your assignments and exam preparation. 📚 Spending more time is equal to getting better grades:- Working hard is the key but to be succesful you need to work smart as well, if you wanna achieve what you aimed for try active study method and try to retain memory. 📚working for 5 hours straight would help me be done with my work:- This is a total lie guys, if you take long study sessions your brain will end up being stressed and you will feel tired in the the second session itself and you might end up sleeping so try taking short session with regular breaks to avoid a stressful mind, this will increase the efficiency of your work 📚 I don't believe in note taking, I'll just read the text book:- Reading your textbook again and again is a passive study method which will end you up being lazy and won't help you retain much of the info, so try taking note it will help you be better with understanding and get better results. #study #tips #studytips #Studygram #studyaesthetic #studying #waystostudy #lavendaire #studyblrsquad #studyblr #Studygram #studygrammer #studyhacks #studymotivation #productivity #studyadvice #universitytips #universitylife #studying #studywithme #inspiration #studyhack #notes #studynotes #studyinspiration #schoollife #collegelife #schoolhacks #collegehacks https://www.instagram.com/p/CQP2p4bhC9e/?utm_medium=tumblr

tips for autistic people moving away for college/university... please?
This year I’ll be moving away from home to go to my dream university (yey! I think). For the first time in my life, I’m going to be living without my parents. And I’m going to be sharing a house with strangers (I’ll have my own room but I’ll have to share the bathroom and kitchen with 5 other people).
I just wanted to know if any of you have any idea of what problems I might not be counting with? And some tips on how to deal with them, perhaps?

productive tips during quarantine 2020
⭐️if you put your bed-sheets in the wash then you’re forced to be productive on your desk for a couple of hours. (Who wants to chill on a bare mattress anyways? And obviously don’t put in new sheets, just wait till the ones you put in the wash are dry)
⭐️you’d be surprised how much more awake you can feel when you just get up and walk around the house for a bit
⭐️a sip of cold water never fails to make me feel more awake
⭐️if you feel super unproductive and guilty but can’t bring yourself to do work and study then start by cleaning ! You can see the difference almost immediately, it doesn’t take long, and once you accomplish something (and you can immediately visually see the difference) you will be more inclined to keep going!
⭐️handwriting your list - it’s very satisfying to use a pencil to cross out tasks one by one
⭐️minimising your need to do work on your laptop or phone (printing sheets if you have a printer, using a textbook instead of online notes or videos if you can) will get you on track.
⭐️change little things in your routine, for example, start/stop listening to music when you work, change your study area (move your desk to another corner),
⭐️wear fancy-ish clothes like your uniform or going out clothes, anything you want really! just get out of pyjamas, even if they’re fresh, clean ones.
⭐️studying with a friend on skype may help, talk through problems together or if you don’t take the same classes just having someone watch you do work and call you out once they see u be unproductive can help. you can always mute the call and still be productive.
⭐️try not to do work while lying down or on your bed
⭐️be mindful of how long you’re spending on tasks - use apps and stopwatches and google chrome extensions
⭐️keep your homes clean! and put stuff away and do stuff immediately - don’t think too much, just do it.
⭐️if you’re stuck in a rut and have control over when you do work, like you don’t have synchronous online classes, do your work at a time that’s v. productive for you - for me it’s at night because the city is extremely quiet, and just chill and sleep during times of the day you know you’re unproductive.

4 Tips for the Busy College Student
I can’t believe the month of October is almost over! There are only two months left of the fall semester! This is the time of the year when the temperature decreases as workload steadily increase. Midterms are on their way and the holidays are but a jingle away. Are you mentally prepared to handle it all? The fall/winter semester has to be the most stressful for students which is why I have four tips of ways to manage your time and be more organized.
Tumblr media
1. Buy a planner
I think the best thing you can do if you’re having trouble balancing too many classes, a work schedule and assignments is to get a planner to organize and set reminders. Writing down a routine can help you build a pattern and cutting down on late assignments and all-nighters. The key to managing your planner is to write down as soon as you hear/receive information. Make this a habit and your planner will improve your mindset.
Tumblr media
2. Make to-do lists
It can be very overwhelming when there are so many things due and you have a limited time to finish it all. But there’s something about making a list and crossing things down that feels so satisfying. Make a list of all the things you have to do in a day according to the closest to the due date or difficulty. Personally, I don’t like doing things at the last minute so making a list of what’s relevant based on its due date can really help ease the stress.
Tumblr media
3. Turn off your television/ phone
If you only have until midnight to complete assignments or projects then all your focus should be on finishing them. I’m guilty of having my tv on or my phone nearby and being distracted by it. Time passes by quickly while you’re strolling your social media feed or watching Netflix so shut it off until you’re finished studying or doing homework. I found that playing relaxing music in the background can help lighten your mood and increase your focus. There’s a large selection of live stream videos on YouTube specifically to use for background music for studying. (For example: lofi hip hop radio – beats to relax/study to)
Tumblr media
4.Prioritize your time
Sometimes you want to take on everything all at once. You make promises to the people in your life that become too much to handle. This is when you put yourself first and handle tasks based on your future goals. If your goal is to graduate with a high GPA then your free time should be focused on your studies and not hanging out with friends. Balancing your academic life with your social life is important to living a healthy life. However, in busy times like these remember the long term vs. short term when you make your decisions. Your real friends will understand and love you regardless if you cancel on them for the right reasons.

Flash-Card Alt for Auditory Learners & the Blind
Using your phone or laptop, one-by-by, record yourself reading a question and then three seconds later the answer. (The pause is for you/they to answer aloud or to themself, that way they are sure to reply and are focused; interacting.) Then download the audio-file as music, organize them into a file, and play them on shuffle. You can listen and study anywhere that's not too noisey. Answering aloud I would presume to be most effective; especially while on a run, in the bath, or while doing chores. However, you can just answer in your head in quiet places, like in the bus/train, in the library, or at night. This way you can study and do the things you need and want to do. As well, you won't have to worry about carrying around a stack of cards, as we always have our phones at the ready.

Time to be home 😍 I love school, but I will have various tips listed over the next few days about being in college/university. Tip #1 take free food. Seriously Grandma offers you scones? Take them, she knows you’re a student and might be struggling. Take em. If she gave you a whole bunch that you couldn’t possibly eat before they go bad; freeze them, or offer some to fellow struggling class mates. Don’t feel guilty about going to events at the colleges that offer free food. Even if the only reason you’re going to a “conversational circle” if that you’re getting refreshments provided by the school. Even if you don’t enjoy the function, they offer food to entice you. Take the food and go, who knows maybe you’ll really enjoy yourself and have an excuse to go back next week ;) #college #collegetips #uni #university #universitytips #strugglingstudents #financialaid #nursingschool #nursetobe #food #freefood

I hope you guys are good Quick tip for the day 😃 When you don't feel like studying just get yourself a cup of water and calm yourself and promise yourself to study just 2 minutes. Set a timer and get started maybe your will just end up with a 50-10 pomodoro. If not then don't force yourself, exercise a bit then get a 15 min meditation session done now take 10 minutes then get seated to work My motivation @lavendaire @sapphire.study @studytipsgcse @amandhattarwal @waystostudy @studytee @marianastudycorner @ellenkelleystudies #study #tips #studytip #studytips studytime Studygram #aesthetic #studyaesthetic #studying #waystostudy #studytee #lavendaire #studyblrsquad #studyblr #Studygram #studygrammer #indianstudygram #indianstudygrammer #studyhacks #studymotivation #studyreels #productivity #studyadvice # #universitytips #universitylife #studying #studywithme #inspiration #studyhack #notes #studynotes #studyinspiration #you https://www.instagram.com/p/CPrcCN6BSRf/?utm_medium=tumblr
