I just know Barbara Gordon’s pet growing up would have been two gold fish that her uncle Jim got her.

she would get SO annoyed anytime jim messes up and calls one fish the other's name too...

(also, he tries his hardest to tell them apart, really, but also just... its two goldfish. what the hell do you mean ‘you can just tell’??)

#i also like thinking she was a mouse/rat kid....#i have a slightly weird headcanon for older! babs and how she ends up having a parrot too #also stay with me ok?? but young babs seeing an alleyway cat with a hurt leg and torn ear and #just going to jim. the ‘dad — uncle jim! please! it obviously needs help!!’ but jim puts his foot down. the house is cramped enough #and a stray cant be around an infant! what if the cat has something and scratches or bites?! absolutely not.#he gets home from work & ofc has the cat bc she had watery eyes and the poor girl did just lose her only family member and had to leave #her friends and home and everything she once had. even her own name is no longer her own....#she deserves something thatd make her happy and make gotham feel like a home...#but huh. for an alleyway cat it sure is quite fat huh? im sure its nothing unusual and hey it is kinda cute! :)#it gives birth to 5 kittens under his bed that night because of fucking course it does #jim is so fucking tired guys. he ends up asking his weird masked friend if he knew anyone thatd want a kitten in 8ish weeks.#when given the choice; babs decides to keep the mama instead of just a kitten. New Gotham SWAT Commander Danny

After the Joker once again took the Gotham Gala hostage, the people in the Gala were surprised, as for once the police were able to do anything about it. As the SWAT came in and shot Joker and his goons down.

And saved the Hostage? Bruce Wayne's daughter Cassandra. Not normal.

All were confused; normally, the cops just wait for Batman or fail.

It turns out Gotham had a new SWAT commander who took the shots on the Joker.

Danny was pissed but happy too; he just worked here because his mother's brother, Uncle James, works here too.

Then Dad sent him here to learn about police work and see different kinds of things, not just Amity Park. Just defusing Bombs seem to get boring for Danny.

And the first thing he did at his job was kill a clown gang?

Well worth it.

I have no idea why people look so surprised; it's just a clown with a gun, not Superman.

A gun does the job.

And Cass was here too, the last time he saw her was as she teached Ellie ballet.

As Danny was new, he had no real idea about the crime world of Gotham.

When the Gordons visit, they don't talk about Gotham, and the people in Amity Park never cared about the outside world.

They have their Fenton shield as a defense against alien invasions or similar.

Danny meet the cute Cass as she teached Ellie Ballet, who was the Joker took hostage.

Danny shooting Joker had nothing to do with Cass. He saw it later it was Cass after they were done.

Danny was professional and not lead by emotion. A new clean cop in Gotham.

it’s the picture of diana in lawrence’s wallet with her arms wrapped around a dog, it’s the horse riding awards in her bedroom and and the snake toy she has draped over her headboard .. it’s adam who wanted so badly to be a vet, adam who loves cats and brings them saucers of milk despite there being barely anything in his fridge .. it’s them bonding over their love of animals, diana showing adam her amazing animal facts book and adam asking for one every time he sees her, it’s adam saving up his own money so he can surprise her with a trip to the zoo for their next adam-and-diana day when lawrence and alison are at work and need someone to watch her, it’s him taking his camera, getting pictures of her with her favorite animals and developing them, it’s diana telling adam she wants to be a vet when she grows up and him getting excited, grabbing lawrence’s stethoscope when diana says she wants to play vets and taking his job oh so seriously when diana says that he’s gotta be her assistant, it’s .. its ..

The one thing I was so nervous about ATLA in Netflix was the bending. Not exactly the CGI, I grew up with awful CGI, I can take a not-perfect CGI over great storytelling and acting every day. I was nervous because I was afraid they would do the same thing as the movies did – having 5 earth benders lifting one rock; but they didn’t!! They weren’t afraid and the trailers shows balls of fire, grand waves, big rocks, air scooter… and I love it.

Danny has disappeared leaving Amity Park overrun with ghosts, the city is now abandoned and the Fenton portal has been destroyed but because of the huge almost of ambient ectoplasm caused by it, new natural portals are formed every day, the only people present in the area currently are ghost hunters who keep the problem from further spreading. The justice league has decided not to interfere on the basis that non-powered ghost hunters could do the job just as well without the risk of becoming dangerous themselves by possession. It seemed that everyone had given up on Amity Park, given up on Danny, but Wes never forgot and now that he lives in Gotham he might find a clue that every one else missed.

SORRY this took forever i wanted to rewatch some of hlvrai so i woulsnt be just saying nonsense to you :3 undar cut

he's so divorced. joint custody of joshie. stubborn, frustrated easily, argumentative and anxious . tugs on his hair when hes stressed, also fidgets with his hands. i think he and freemind (and corporation) bond with their hatred of cops + anarchist tendencies :3. the straight man to most freemanverse antics. transmasc man and bi . hes ok at cooking but it's nothing to write home about. he always looks stressed or tired. considers himself the normal guy of the group (wrong) and gets along better with the more ""calm"" freemen (gordon og, cicero, freemercy, etc). he wears hoodies and dad clothes (those fucking woven button ups). protective of joshie because all the other freemen are WEIRDOS and joshie doesnt need more influencing (he comes around eventually). he and freemind feed off eachother's anger and anxiety. in a domestic au setting hes a streamer (obviously) ans i think it would 8be really funny if chat is so confused about why martini has like. so many fucking roomates. says twitch emotes out loud , though infrequently, and gets ruthlessly bullied every single time

OH ALSO he and john freeman are friends and Henry and Josh have play dates :3 hes so jealous of john's youthful energy . he is so tired

Avatar: The Last Airbender Live Action Thoughts!

-First of all, ya'll need to leave those child actors alone, they are babies and they didn't write the show, nor was it their idea to do it. I have seen way too many people body shaming children; leave them alone they all did well!

-I think Gordon makes Aang just as cute and small and powerful as I always saw him as!! He manages to joke around and be fun even when the storyline is a lot darker and more serious.

-I really wish Sokka was able to be more of his goofy and silly self. I understand why he isn't, and his humor is more sarcasm and dark jokes, but I saw glimpses of him in there! His excitement when he was with the Mechanist, engineering and getting to do something other than be in charge. Also when he has any older brother convo with Katara or Aang. I'm hopeful with time he'll be able to loosen up!

-(Speaking of the Mechanist, my boy Danny Pudi was SO GOOD, I love him, him and his little son).

-I wish Aang would practice waterbending with Katara :( those scenes of them practicing together were always some of my favorites in the series. Just beautiful kataang moments. I'm glad they addressed it but I missed those moments.

-I don't understand how you guys can't be having fun watching this, I get so excited waiting for little moments of lore, or when Jet and Katara were fighting in the forest I was sitting in front of the TV like "WHERE'S SMELLERBEE AND LONGSHOT. OH MY GOD NO IT'S PIPSQUEAK!" It's just so much fun! The colors are beautiful, the effects are gorgeous, and the plot and characters are entertaining. Think about the piece as it's own thing and enjoy it!

-Adaptations are just that; adaptations, and things will be changed! I think so far I haven't minded their changes, I understand why they've been made. There are things to criticize, but I think this is pretty well done.

-Zuko is fantastic; I think all the child actors are fairly good but Dallas' pissy attitude and the faces he makes are so so fun! I feel for Zuko and I'm scared of him when he shows up, and he's just as annoying and bratty as ponytail Zuko should be. His physical motions are fantastic!

-TEO WAS SO LITTLE?? Oh my god, like as a kid I thought the cartoon version of him was kinda hot so when they wheeled that tiny baby in I was HORRIFIED.

-Idk why YOU ALL weren't scared of Lizzy Yu's Azula, but her little smile in her intro scene gave me a lil chill. Maybe it's because I was away when the show first came out so I saw post after post about how bad she was, but I just.... Thought she'd be worse?? She did really well! Ya'll better be careful though or Gaten Matarazzo will come for you, that's his girl.

-So far the mushing of plots has made sense to me. Yes, I miss the silly filler episodes and the traveling the Gaang did, but it allows us to sit in a scene longer, and to colorize the world better, when we're in one place and one plot for longer. I think that's important for this type of medium and this amount of episodes. They might be able to justify more next season if this show does well enough.

-I am OBSESSED with Zuko and the 41st division oh my god, what a fantastic and well thought out addition. The reveal, and they're bowing for him when he comes back was DEVASTATING.

-They we're GIVING us Sokka and Katara best sibling moments, I loved all of them. They are so cute, they just mean so much to me.

-I don't feel Appa or Momo as characters like I did in the cartoon. I'm hoping this can change, because rn they surprise me every time they get on screen. I'm like "WHAT- oh it's Momo, he's here." How are we going to feel Appa's loss as much as we did in the cartoon if they continue to like barely be in it.

-Ken Leung SLAYED as Admiral Zhao, I watched him go literally insane as the episodes went on.

-Aang's imposter syndrome and feeling of failure being focused on I will always enjoy, even if I hope he can be silly next season too. His entire character arc this season just made me want to cry.

-Bro the coloring during the the Siege of the North was A M A Z I N G. The way the color faded in and out with fireballs and the monster koi passing nearby, just so pretty. It looked awesome.

-Making Yue a waterbender? The best. Her freezing Sokka in place so he can't stop her? Heartbreaking.

-Iroh and Zuko paddling off looking for bestie Lt. Jee?? Okay.

-They really grew this show up for us adults that watched it in 2005 and focused in on the really painful moments, themes, and details.

An officer in the back: Uncle SUPES?!?

Jim: And then you can explain to Batman what Superman is doing in Gotham.

Nightwing, sputtering: No, no, there’s no need for that, really. Look, how about we just sit down and talk for a minute, and-

Nightwing: Of course! I-

Nightwing: Yes, and also it was all Red Robin's idea, just so you know.

The Bats witness Danny getting summoned. When they are alone Danny asks where he is. He perks up with the response “Gotham, New Jersey.”

The Bats listen to Danny’s request hands him a burner phone to call someone he knows in the area to come and get him. Much to the bats surprise, Danny calls a very familiar number and says “Hey Uncle Gordon! Can I crash at your place tonight? I got summoned again.”
