Happy 1 year to the beginning of Toytoriya! To celebrate, I made a bunch of works on the dorm itself including comics, a dorm map, rooms, and an opinion chart of the other dorm leaders with Lotsie!!!

Inspired by a Toytime Sheriff and his ever-eternal imagination, the students here value creativity with their whole heart. Daydreamers, artists, and those with an energy most lack are a must in this dorm! Of course, along with those with a little immaturity…

Performers are another common type to appear in Toytoriya, especially when it comes to their Festival of Memories: a competition during the year where stage plays are performed throughout all of NRC! It doesn’t matter what act you play, as long as it’s fun for everyone! Often ending on the dorm leader’s birthday, the winner of the competition is declared next in line for leadership.

Introducing a new twst character who is part of @cherryjkj’s fandorm, Dulcisregnum! Her name is Mandisa Custart (Mandi for short), a stern but caring dorm member of Dulcisregnum who puts her dormates first and her pride second. Others may observe Mandisa as cold at first, but once they begin to interact with her, their judgment quickly fades. If you ask her to fix something for you, she'll gladly do it (assuming you're not a prick). Mandisa is considered as a big sis among the Dulcisregnum first years, and while she is still not used to it, she appreciates that her dormates are comfortable enough around her to think so.

Mandi is able to summon a giant cannon housing a giant cupcake to slow down any competition and essentially trap them. She has the ability to summon multiple but chooses not to because she believes that would be overkill to her fellow dormates. Not to mention the amount of magic she'd be using up, which could make her weak during her race.

TRIVIA:

Mandisa usually works out in order to carry heavy car parts more easily so she can upgrade her car. So you’ll usually see Mandisa in a lot of physical activities.

After a race comes to an end you’ll often see Mandisa apologizing to racers that got hit by her giant sugary projectile with a handshake.

She’s actually able to lift up her car just by brute strength alone so whenever her car gets stuck on some gumdrop roads or Nesquik sand Mandisa can get her ride out of a pickle.

Mandisa doesn’t really like asking people for help whenever she’s in a tight spot so she usually keeps to herself in order to not be a burden to someone.

Pops her back all the time whenever she’s in class or in Magift practice. It often scares her classmates because they always think that she broke something. She gets sent to the nursing room often even if she isn’t hurt. (Divus gets tired of this pretty often)

Personality: Faolan is a fairly solitary student, so he usually prefers to keep to himself! Perhaps invested in a good book or practicing with his odd shaped sword-

He got bit by a werewolf beast but managed to live to tell the tale AND slay the beast that did it (which is currently the wolf hat he's depicted wearing here)

Faolan, however, doesnt follow the werewolf standard of shifting every full moon though, he's managed to successfully hide it away in the craft of his UM, however, he will suffer consequences if he does not use his UM every once in a while- But at least its better to just use his UM once a year and get it over with than shift every month

Despite everything, Faolan doesnt really hate werewolves, so to speak- He's rather neutral on them but will keep his distance if he can

Unique Magic: Feral Frenzy: As mentioned in the previous description, Faolan can turn into a beast that resembles a wolf. However, as a consequence of trying to contain it, it's become rather "distorted" so to speak. Faolan can still control most of its movement though. While using his UM, Faolan is much more stronger than your average wolf, but as a consequence, he's also much more sensitive to light. This transformation can only last for maximum 24 hours though

Forodwyn Dormitory

Introducing another NRC Fandorm I made, this time based on the Lord of the Rings movies... Forodwyn is mainly a dorm that often does Blacksmith work, hence each dorm members has a ring of their own they carry... Led by the Dorm leader Brid Rolfe (based of Frodo)... she often gets underestimated or not taken serious as dorm head, hence many dorm members often cause a bit of chaos while others try to uphold the order. One of them being Odel Aradia (Based of Gandalf), the Vice Leader. Many believe Odel to be the dorm leader... which often makes Brid moody...

Notes about the dorm uniforms:

-The Capes are mandatory with the leave symbol, given it is a ref to the movies, but they can be customized in length, color and anything -The color scheme and rank patterns should be kept but aside that go wild -Each Student wears a ring!! -Many students were flowers and metal accesoires in their hair -Students who are based of Hobbits never wear shoes -many students also have symbols on their skin

Dorm Aestehtic:

-The Students rooms are mainly similar to the hobbit houses... each student gets their own little house

-Forrests spread all over the dorm and means to get more metal for Smithing

-Many different Types of Students live here, from Faes, to mythical Creatures, to simple humans

Stereotypes:

Many Forodwyn Students are experts of Nature and pathfinding, as well as talented in crafting things... some pick magic up, some archery, often the dorm has small battles but most of the time Odel resolves these conflicts... the more dangerous students stay near the more Lave oriented part of the dorm... some even in the small caves hidden under the woods..

Can I request a platonic Ruggie x fem reader. Where the reader is a mischievous and cheerful prankster, who's a childhood friend of Ruggie where they've known each other since kindergarten. Other than Ruggie, the reader never had any friends. The reader and Ruggie are as close as siblings. (Not actually siblings but they think of each other as that). And since she was just a regular human (even if she had magic like most people did) she wasn't as physically strong as the girls from the town she and Ruggie grew up in so he would always be protective of her.

Protective Ruggie who met you in the streets when you were both children. You were scavenging for stale bread at the doorstep of the town’s baker and he followed you into the dumpster alleyway when the baker noticed your scrawny self taking space at the entrance of his shop and kicked you away. He kept following the tail of your tattered cape all the way into a rundown building.

“Here” His hand shot out and your nervous eyes looked up to see half a loaf of bread hanging in front of you.

Like a scared cat, you slowly approached him and grabbed the bread once more hiding in your spot.

Protective Ruggie who once he discovered you were human he made a promise to you and himself to never let anything happen to you.

Ruggie looked around the falling down place, wood was sticking out from the giant hole in the ceiling, the smell of dust permeated the place and you barely had a small cot with dirty blankets to cover yourself and sleep. There was a small lion plush who’s yellow and orange color had turned brown from time and lack of washing.

“So, this is where you live, huh? It’s kind of nice.” You weren’t paying him any attention as you scarfed down the bread. Ruggie came ever closer to you until he pulled back the hood from your makeshift cape.

You gasped grabbing the hood once more and aggressively pulling it over your head again.

“You’re…human” His voice sounded amazed like he had never seen a human “Nah, you’re a hyena just like me, your ears and tail must be so small because you are not eating well. I’ll bring you food so you can grow bigger”

Protective Ruggie who washed your clothes and lion plush the moment you trusted him enough and taught you how to wash clothes, cook, and clean.

“Here, when we save enough money, I’ll buy you a new one” the once brown and tattered lion plush had been restored to its former glory, his grandmother had even sewed a button to make up for the missing eye.

You hugged the plush to your heart “It’s okay I love this one because big brother fixed him” Ruggie felt his cheek flush and the tip of his ears heat up at you comment. His lazy eyes fell on you and a sense of pride and protectiveness washed over him: He was your big brother.

Protective Ruggie who kept his promise and brought you bread and nice leftover food from his grandmother. He coaxed you out of your shell with jokes and taught you how to be swift and thrifty with the things you found.

“You have to be quick when turning the wrist, but not too quick because then people will be attracted to the hand and they will see the coin”

Protective Ruggie who often let you stay with him and his grandmother when it was rainy outside or cold.

“Grandma, this is (Y/N), she’s, my friend. (Y/N) this is my grandmother, hihihi” Ruggie was so excited to finally present you to his grandmother.

“You’re an adorable little beastie.” His grandmother knew you were human but she couldn’t help making you feel like you belong.

You blushed and greeted her warmly.

“It’s nice to meet you, nana”

Protective Ruggie who taught you how to prank people and be overall mischievous, even though it often got you into trouble and he had to come help.

“I’m so sorry, sir, this is my little sister, she’s still growing and doesn’t know any better” You were gripping his shirt kneeling beside him on the ground, making your eyes big and innocent.

“Very well, get away. I don’t want to deal with you two again” the merchant dismissed you and the two of you ran away laughing.

“Hey, you have to be more helpful, I won’t always be there to protect you…” if you would’ve been a beastfolk, your ears would be lowering in shame “You have to be sneakier so you don’t get caught, hehehehe”

You smiled up at him and he grabbed your hand leading you to nana’s house.

“Come, the other kids are waiting for us to play”

Protective Ruggie who used his special magic “laugh with me” on your bullies and made sure to bandage your scrapes.

“Laugh with me” he said cheerfully, a malicious glint in his lazy eyes as he punished those two entitled idiots who thought they could mess with you and throw you around.

After he had taken care of those two, he turned to you

“I’m okay, it’s just a scrape” you told him.

“We can bandage it at grandma’s house, come on” he offered his hand and helped you stand.

Protective Ruggie who consoled you the night you heard the news that he was going away to some fancy magic school and was going to leave you behind. You had been crying in his lap ever since.

“But why do you have to leave? Can’t you learn magic here? Who’s going to prank the others with me? Why can’t I go with you?”

“Hihihihi, (Y/N) it’s an all-boys school for magic I wouldn’t want you near there, plus it’s only for a couple of months, I’m still coming over for break and summer, you can save the prank plans until then. Also don’t get into trouble, I won’t be here to help” his voice was his often-cheery tone, but you could tell he was still coming to terms with the idea of leaving you and his grandmother behind.

Ruggie petted you until you fell asleep on his bed and in the morning the carriage came to pick him up.

Protective Ruggie who was so excited and surprised when he was bombarded with confetti and water balloons while on an errand for Leona.

Bam! Confetti and paper swirls were gracefully falling from the ceiling, covering everything in range including the target of the prank.

“Surprise!!” you screamed with a small jump; hands raised in the air with a blinding smile on your lips.

“Tehehehe” Ruggie giggled after the first seconds of surprise, “You’re getting better, that might be a problem” his hair, shirt and vest were all covered in confetti and paper party swirls.

Leona and Jack were standing behind you smirking and smiling while you held a box of his favorite sprinkle doughnuts.

Ruggie’s eyes widen as he looked over at what you were wearing; the Savannahclaw uniform tailored for a girl like you.

“Guess who came for me after you left?”

Ruggie giggled and gave a big hug covering you in confetti as well. Now he had to think of ways to keep you away from those pesky beastfolks who might try stuff. After all his little sister must be protected.

Calm and collected, and sometimes levelheaded than most, it’s easy to forget that Kath is only in their first year. Maybe the reason why they got sorted into the same dorm as the huggable house warden, William, is because of their shared dislike for conflicts, as Kath prioritizes peace above all else and believes that most problems can be solved by talking things out. Due to this, they tend to find themself being the middleman between disputes or breaking up fights. In addition to helping people get out of sticky situations, Kath is said to give very useful and good advice, of which many students come asking him for.

Kath holds their ideal so close to their heart, they’ll do whatever it takes to preserve the peace, even if it means neglecting his own needs and becoming a people pleaser. Of course, having to resolve others’ plights all the time comes with its own price, like suppressing some unpleasant feelings and emotions. But Kath rarely loses his cool. As for one time he did snap… let’s just say things didn’t end well.

Kath is able to instantly calm people down with the sound of their voice. This effect also applies to musical instruments too, such as their trumpet.

Fun facts 🐱

- Often gets assigned the role of the “innocent child” due to his appearance. Though, they’re quite adaptable and they don’t mind filling in other roles or being a stand-in when others aren’t available.

- For the lucky few who have seen Kath’s eyes, they are said to be “as beautiful and reflective as the surface of clear blue water on a sunny day.”

- Kath is quite hard to detect, sometimes appearing out of nowhere in mere seconds only to vanish in the next. Seeing this as it disturbs the peace that they very much wish to protect, Kath decided to attach a bell to their tail, so people can hear them wherever they go.

- The ears and tail are not the real deal… but don’t mention that to anyone, ok?!
