What it’s like to date, ¡Gaz!

He is really laid back, like he’ll let you take your time during the beginning unless you don’t want you. Whatever you do he is fine with it.

He loves when you two do stuff together either it’s sitting and watching tv or going out to find a place to go like either a pub or maybe a arcade. Wherever you go, you’ll both have fun no matter what.

If you wake up in the morning and he isn’t in bed but rather downstairs. And you feel a little cold, so you throw on one of his t-shirts. You go downstairs and see his making breakfast, you see him turn around and as he turns around to see you in his clothes. This man has melted, he loves if you wear his clothes. It makes him feel like you two are closer because you two are comfortable in wearing his clothes and sometimes if like wearing oversized clothes and they look nice he’d try it on and ask you if he could wear it. Most of the time he would.

This man loves his movies though. But I feel like he’s a marvel fan and his favourite character is either Flacon or Black Widow. If you told him you haven’t seen a marvel movie he’ll offer to make a date and it’d be you two making you sofa into a bed and you two watch every marvel movie in order. And the whole time you could feel him squeeze your hand if something dramatic or someone is fighting. You loved how much he enjoys something and makes him happy. You ended up taking him to this marvel thing where you can see the suits and props they would use. (In irl I have been to one, it was rlly good)

He is definitely quality time and physical touch. He loves when he comes through the door and the first thing he does is give you a hug. He loves if you are both in the kitchen and he’s grabbing a snack and your making a tea; he’ll just come over to you and give you a kiss or a kiss on your shoulder.

I feel like another way he may show his love is by placing his head on you. Like a head bump but a gentle one. Like if he’s eating but wants to give you a kiss he’d just use his head.

If you have little siblings they are all over him. He’d be chasing them in the garden playing tag. He’d be making cup cakes with them. Anything he just loves that your family has welcomed him.

He enjoys car rides. Like if you two are going out and it’s far enough to drive, he’ll drive. Especially if it’s summer, he’d put down the windows or roof if you have a convertible. And he’d blast music that is from your shared playlist. And you two would love singing to your favourite songs and enjoying the moment together.

He’d definitely ask if you would like to go to a concert or festival, if you both are into music then he’d look for as many concerts as possible and write them down in notes.

He’s also definitely a wind up, you two will be together and he’ll think of something you’ve done and just wind you up about it. He’s just into banter and messing around. “You only live once so why not have some fun?” That’s Gaz’s saying

If your in the garden and it’s sunny out and your trying to catch a tan. He’d come over with a glass of cold water and ice and some snack and come and sit on the side of your lounger. He’d talk to you and offer to put sunscreen or tanning oil on you. Later you would set up the umbrella and shuffle up a little so he either is laying with his head on your stomach or your both sat up on the lounger.

He just loves spending as much time with you as possible. Since he joined the military it’s hard for spending most of the time with you. So when he’s home he’s by your side and you love it. It shows how genuine he is in this relationship even if it’s distance most of the time.

If he is away and he has some free time, he is FaceTiming you. He tells you the places he’s been and that he got you somethings from that place. You ask how he is and if he knows a date he’s coming back on. You two talk and when you have to go you both kiss the screen and end the call.

In the morning, if he’s tiered he’ll pull you in closer and kind of trap you from leaving the bed. He always says “good morning, my love, how did you sleep?” And he always gives you lots of kisses all over your face.

In the night, he lets you lay on him so he knows your there and he rubs your back to sooth you. Some nights he lays on you so you do the same.

He is an amazing boyfriend and you both have a strong and healthy relationship.

You had been dating Billy for a good 2 weeks since he's been here and ran into him while he was sent to pick something up from the little grocery store you worked at. At the time couldn't be bothered with the flirty, dirty blonde but offered your number to show him around town so he at least had a friend, and from there the both of you started growing closer. You didn't ever think you would be found with Billy's hands on your thighs as he leaned you back on his bed leg between yours. Lips moving roughly against yours. traveling down to your neck, sucking and running his teeth down the side. You can feel the smirk of his lips against your neck as a sigh of his name leaves your mouth. You were suppose to have a date tonight Billy was gonna drive you a town over to the Drive-in you mentioned you like to go to, but because Susan and Neil were very late and you guys had to leave when they got back. Over the loud music you could faintly hear. “Billy!” the voice was feminine, assumingly Susan. But Billy had no intention of opening that door with you under him. “I'm a little busy here Susan” he yells as his lips latch back on your neck. Now littered with light bruises, surely going to darken in the next few days. “Open the door right now!.” Neil yells out, causing you to jump a bit. Billy lets out a sigh getting up to open the door. “What's wrong?” Billy says opening the door. “You tell us,” Neil says, eyes flickering to you on Billy's bed you've sat up now trying to fade into the background. “Because I don't know,'' Billy says, still standing in the doorway. “ We can't find Maxine,” Susan says slightly behind Neil. Max was the one who let you in and you knew she had gone back into her room trying to fix her skateboard Billy accidentally ran over. “And her windows open,” Neil said. Billy looks back at you with a look that says 'shut up' “You were suppose to be watching her not in here with this whore,” Neil raises his voice at Billy. “First She's not a whore, she's my girlfriend, and I know I was supposed to be watching her dad and I was, you guys were supposed to be back a few hours ago and we have a date,” Billy says putting his jacket on looking at you signaling to put your shoes on. You start rushing to put the boots on that had been discarded at the side of the bed along with you're jacket. “Oh, so that's why you've been in here looking at yourself in the mirror like a faggot and on top that tramp in your bed” Neil sneers at Billy again insulting you. Billy was very tired of this. “Respect and responsibility,” Billy says voice wavering. Your breath is also shaky. “Billy is responsible. He always watches her when you're out. He takes her everywhere and picks her up from everywhere. Hawkins is very safe. It's not like something bad will happen to her, she is probably with her friends.” you say quickly. “This doesn't involve you” Neil yells at you. “Her running off isn't his fault okay, you don't need to be so hard on him okay” Neil turns to you, rushing towards you grabbing the edge of your jacket and pulling you close to him, your eyes growing wide and your breath quickening.

“Hasn't anyone told you it's not a bitches place to talk back?” Neil says in my face You swallow hard. Not able to get words out eyes getting glassy “ Should learn how to keep your mouth shut, learn your place. Now I want you to get the fuck out my house and I never wanna see you in here again understood,” he says quietly you nod your head quickly and Neil shoves you back hard causing you to land on the floor. You scramble to get back up rushing past Susan. You hear a bit more yelling as you sit on the curb waiting for Billy to possibly come out but primarily to pull yourself together. You had walked to Billy's house living a few blocks down. you sat on the curb for maybe 7 minutes before Billy’s walking out with his keys and his jacket “Get. in. the. Car.” Billy says firmly. Making you jump up and get in the passenger billy still opening it for you and closing it forcefully. And getting the driver's side and driving off "you can't fucking do that shit," he says angrily You felt bad you didn't know how much worse you made things but you knew Billy was mad with the passing of the street lights you could see the streaks on his cheek from tears. "Billy you don't deserve-" you start to say seeing how your boyfriend's home life was, it frustrated you to watch. "oh fucking well, Neil’s not above hitting women I don't want you doing that shit again" he snaps pulling into your driveway tilting his head back with a sigh “ Look, we can talk about this later okay but I need to go find max,” he says quieter You nod quietly getting out and going up the steps to your porch. Looking back to see Billy lighting a cigarette and waiting for you to go into the house.

ARC V MONTH DAY 4 - The Merriest Band of Misfits

A/N: Another late post lol srry :P

I wanted to write abt fusion squad, but i have a whole fic dedicated to em already, so i decided to write abt the fusion & sync duos! theyre another 4-person friend group i rlly love, u see :DD

Pairings: Yugo/Rin & Yuri/Serena

Warnings: None. They say a few cuss words but that’s about it, also expect some OOCness like witth the other things I wrote.

Earlier this morning, Yuri had invited her and the Synchro Duo, Yugo and Rin, over to "hang out" as he called it. He said it was about Yuya telling him to get along with other people or something…

It was gonna be a weird day for Serena, she could tell.

So here she was, sitting at a coffee shop in an Xyzian mall with Rin, waiting for their respective boys to arrive.

She and Rin surprisingly got along well after the war, as they were the orphans of the bracelet girls — the only two with no family before the war.

Other things were because she and Rin happened to be the most boyish of the girls and that they both grew up having to prove people their worth.

“What could be taking them so long?” Serena randomly asks, breaking her own trail of thoughts.

“Yugo, definitely… He's always late," Rin sighed.

Right when Rin answered, said Yu's finally showed up at the door and walked over to them.

“I apologize for being late, Rin and my dear Serena—”

“Don't-Don't call me that,” Serena interrupted.

But Yuri went on anyway. “—but you see, Yugo-kun here spent too long in the bathroom.”

“You said I had to look my best!” Yugo complained.

“You can style yourself outside.”

“Whatever…”

“Well,” Rin said, sighing, “at least you're both here. But, Serena and I told the waiter twice to wait for you both, you know. So try to be earlier next time.”

“Okay then, Yugo will try,” Yuri said blatantly. “Now can we get some coffee? And a croissant, perhaps?”

“No, I don't wanna stay here any longer. I've had enough of the place.” Serena got up.

Rin soon followed. “So have I. Let’s just go to an arcade or something…”

“Yes! Gaming time! I'm with ya, Rin-Rin!” Yugo cheered.

Yuri gaped. “I haven't eaten anything!”

“That’s your problem, cabbage.” Serena smiled.

“Hmph. Whatever. Just make sure there's lunch later.”

“There will be.” Rin rolled her eyes.

“And you girls will pay?”

“All of us will pay—we’ll divide the bill into four. Now let's leave!”

While walking to the arcade, Rin observed the whole of the mall.

With funding and support from Fusion as a form of apology, together with the efforts of many Xyzian people as well as Fusionists who were sent to help instead of being jailed, most of the mall has been restored to its former glory.

There were still some unfinished parts here and there, but overall it seemed to look the way it used to.

“Aww yeah, the arcade!” Yugo yelled, running into the said place with the two other Fusionists.

“Hey, wait up you three!” Rin ran after them.

“Woah,” Serena gasped, looking around to see lots of arcade machines, claw machines, driving simulators, and duel simulators, among others—all with many games and with their lights ablaze. There were a lot of people too, of course.

Ruri wasn't kidding when she said they'd have so much fun.

“Hah! Who knew Xyz'd be this cool,” Yuri exclaimed. “I almost regret being part of the war!”

“Oi, shut your trap, and stop being proud of what you helped cause,” Serena warned.

“I'm with her on that, Yuri,” Yugo added. “Starting a war is not something to be proud of.”

“Guys, I. Don't. Care. Now let's have fun!” Yuri ran off to the nearest duel simulator, also known as a duel terminal, probably.

The other two also bolted to their own destinations—Serena to this "Grand Piano Keys" game thing and Yugo to a claw machine with lots of cute duel monster plushies in them.

Meanwhile, Rin just got there. What's up with them just running off!?

She sighed and just walked to where Yugo was.

“Hey, Rin! I'm gonna try and get you that Melffy Pinny plush!” he blurted, inserting a coin into that thing where you put it in, which started the one-minute timer.

“Oh cool, good luck!”

With intense focus, Yugo moved the claw with the joystick.

The claw is so slow…!

Aaand there, right there above the plush!

He waited until the timer was at one second before pushing the grab button.

“Yes!” he yelled when the claw fell to the plush.

…before frowning as the claw seemingly, ‘couldn't hold onto it.’

“Aw, poor fusion-kun lost,” Yuri teased, seeing Yugo’s utter defeat.

“That's not fairrr!” Yugo shouted, catching the attention of a few Xyzians.

“Hey, look, it's alright, at least you tried!” Rin encouraged. “Keep your voice low, please. And Yuri, shut up.”

Serena walked over to them with a handful of tickets. “So I played some piano game and got a bunch of tickets… What do I do with these?”

“Yuto said you could exchange them for prices,” Rin stated, motioning to the price booth. “The more you have, the bigger a thing you could get, I'd guess.”

“Ooh, to another machine then!” Serena dashed across the place to what Rin could make out to be an Ice Ball game, with Yuri following suit.

“Yugo, you coming?”

The banana-head just stared sorrowfully onto the Pinny plush that lay in the machine. “Y-yeah… In a moment.”

“Uh, okay, then. I'll be with the Fusion duo to make sure they won't cause any trouble,” Rin told him, walking away.

“Okay…”

“I can stay if you want, you know?”

“Oh, no, it's fine,” Yugo assured. “Don't worry, I'll be okay!”

“Hm.” Rin nodded and walked on.

“You're doing it all wrong,” Yuri complained. “Put only a little force on it enough to launch it; don't put all your strength into the ball!”

“Hey! Wait for your turn!” Serena retorted.

“Tsk. Just saying—getting 3 to 5 thousand points is better than getting none at all or an occasional 10k then nothing. Remember, you only have—”

“Nine balls, and at the moment only one left. I know!” Serena interrupted, throw-sliding the ball into the road a little too harshly, it hit the fiberglass with a loud BANG!

‘10 thousand, 10 thousand! Please…!’ she thought.

The ball rolled off to nothing.

“AUUUGHHH!”

Yuri meanwhile laughed beside her. “See? Control your force!”

“SHUT UP!”

“And what's going on with you two?” Rin asked, approaching them.

“Serena never listens,” Yuri mocked.

“And Yuri can't keep his mouth shut,” Serena hissed. “Aha! I was distracted!” She gave Yuri a glare.

He smiled at her in return, but also looked into her eyes.

…they had a staring contest.

“That's enough now, you two,” Rin scolded. She looked around.

Eventually, a certain dancing game caught her eye. “Hey, why don't you both play that dance thing over there, instead?”

Serena usually would rather not dance, but she was losing this contest, and as such, she whipped her head toward Rin so Yuri couldn't see that she blinked. “You know what? You're right.”

She turned back to Yuri. “Yuri, wanna have a dance fight?”

Yuri smiled. “Ah, sure!”

And they left with Rin following them behind, thoughts of whether leaving Yugo was a good idea or not swirling in her mind.

“Look at me, Yuri!” Serena said, and she began the game.

Her swift and graceful movements amused him.

He knew she could dance, but still! He’s never seen her do it with so much passion.

A chuckle escaped him. This little competition is easily won by her… and he couldn’t help but smile as she danced to the beat ever so beautifully.

When the round ended, she got off the small stage and walked to him. “Did ya see that?” She then noticed how he looked at her. “Hm? What’re you grinning for?”

“Nothing. Only,” he laughed, “you’re good—I’ll admit that. And you win for now.”

Serena blushed lightly, not enough for anyone to notice. His compliment also brushed her competitive side away, just for a moment. “Thank… you…? Also, what happened to your condescending attitude?”

“It’s still there, that I assure you. But…”

He looked beyond her—to a kid’s basketball machine.

He saw that the hoop was easily within arm's reach of any teenager their age—meaning they can drop or dip the ball into the hoop with tremendous ease.

And also get a whole bunch of tickets in the process.

He grinned, turning back to Serena. “Rena-kun,” he called to her.

“What do you want?”

Yuri took a deep breath. “I'm gonna ask you a favor.”

Serena laughed at him. “That's new… What is it?”

“I'm surprised you didn't make fun of me, other than that laugh, but why don't we… Cheat the kid's basketball machine?” he asked.

“Hmm… What do I get from it?”

“Let's see… You can have 40% of the tickets.”

“50 and I'll do it.”

Yuri sighed, but he just caved. “Ah, you know what, fine. C'mon.”

From the other side where Rin was playing this remake of Flappy Bird, she stopped playing—which of course made her lose—as their words caught her ears.

She saw them by the kid's basketball machine.

Of course…

When the two got there, a kid was still busy playing.

The poor thing looked back at them, and when he saw Yuri, he froze.

Yuri smirked. “Boo.”

The poor kid squeaked before slowly walking off.

“Oh Ra, you didn't need to do that,” Serena chastised. “Buuut at least we got it to ourselves now, so let's take advantage of that and the kid's tickets.”

For the next few minutes, the two watched amused as the scoreboard's numbers did nothing else but rise almost every second as they both dipped the balls just enough for the sensors to notice.

When they finished, they went for another round, and their number of tickets also kept on increasing.

Rin sighed as she watched them, but her mood brightened when she saw Yugo jogging over to them, the Melffy Pinny plush from earlier clutched in his two hands. “Hey, Rin-Rin!”

“Oh, hi, Yugo!” She laughed as he handed her the plush. “Aww, you didn't have too…”

“But I DID have to!” Yugo insisted, bright blue eyes shining with satisfaction of being able to give Rin the plush.

“Well, thanks, at least.” She gave him an embrace and he gladly returned it.

“Ah, fusion finally got the Melffy, eh?” Yuri said, amused, as Serena continued to dip the ball in the hoop.

Yugo let Rin go and said, “Yeah, so? At least I care for my girl!”

“Serena doesn't deserve me, though,” Yuri said dramatically, making him get kicked by Serena in the shins in the process.

“Can't you be not annoying for once? And you’re the one who doesn’t deserve me.”

“I'm always gonna be annoying—and you all have to put up with it…” Yuri uttered as he clutched his leg. “And you did NOT have to hit me that hard…! What if you broke my leg!?”

He went on whining on the floor, which caught a bunch of people's attention. “It hurts!”

“Oh Ra…” Serena shook her head.

And, together with the synchro duo, they yelled, “Get up!”

“Gee, fine. I'm serious, though—it really, really hurts. Can one of you guys get ice or something cold that won't melt for me, please?” he begged, leaning to a wall.

“I'll fuckin’ do it.” Serena rolled her eyes. “I'll be right back.”

While Yuri sat on a bench to wait for Serena to come back, Yugo and Rin allowed themselves to enjoy the whole arcade without the Fusion Duo having an argument behind their backs.

Both of ‘em went on to play some 2-player shooting games where they shot some mechanical aliens to save some ship before going to play the classic Whac-A-Mole game.

“Yugo, stay focused!” Rin yelled. “You can do it!”

“I'm trying, Rin, but these moles are just. So fast!” Yugo shivered as he tried to pour all his focus into this one game, but he still somehow kept missing.

He didn't hit much, but they got tickets nonetheless, so he took those.

“Can I try?” Rin asks.

“Oh, sure.”

“Thanks!” Rin took the little foam mallet and started the game.

Whack!

Oh wow, this was rather easy.

Whack! Whack!

How could Yugo be bad at this!?

Whack! Whack! Whack!

“Woah, Rin, you're a natural!” Yugo complimented. “I'll help! I'll whack those you can't with my hands!"

“Wait, Yugo, I'm fine—”

And with her focus a bit deterred, she and Yugo went for this one common target, making her hit Yugo's hand a bit too hard.

“YyyyOUCH!” he exclaimed. The pain hurt so much, it got him kneeling to the floor groaning in pain, much like what Yuri did earlier, but a bit louder and without the laying down part.

She gasped at that. “Oh, you idiot! I told you to—! Sigh, you know what, just go sit with Yuri; I'll tell Serena to get more ice…”

After a good while, Serena finally arrived with two glass bottles of cold ketchup.

“What—why'd you get that!?” Rin yelled at Serena in disbelief.

“It was the only thing I could think of!”

“You could've just, I dunno, gotten some ice bags?! And ice??”

“Actually, I thought not to do that. Plus, we can at least use the ketchup for later, bring it home or something, you know? Maybe we could give one of ‘em to the boys.”

Rin doesn't know how many times she sighed now, but she sighed anyway.

After they gave the bottle to the boys—and Serena getting another scolding from Yuri for getting ketchup—they all decided to make Yugo and Rin race through a driving simulator.

“Rin, you can do this!” Serena cheered. “Good luck, and win! YuriandIhadabetandmywalletsdependingonyousoyeahpleasewin,” she went on with the last part quickly.

“What?”

“Break a leg—but not literally.” Serena smiled.

“Oh, alright. Thanks!”

And with le boys…

“Yugo, please win. Serena and I had a bet, and if you lose, I'm not just losing money, I'm also gonna have to dye my hair brown for a week! Can you believe that?”

The banana-head raised a brow. “How's that my problem? I'd honestly love to see how you'd look with brown hair. Also, you agreed to it, not me.”

But anyway, the Synchro Duo chose their D-wheels and started.

3… Rin gripped her handle tighter.

2… Yugo smiled, getting ready.

1… They both held breaths, then,

GO!! The words appeared on the screen.

And instantly, Rin and Yugo revved their motorcycle sims and felt it "move" forward.

The screen then showed them and several NPCs racing through.

“Wooo! Go, Rin!”

“Fusion! You better do this, because I'm cheering for you for once, can you believe that!? So don't you dare waste it!”

Vrooooooooooom!

The sounds came from the speakers with the machine, and the screen showed several terrain — cliff sides, cities, a bridge and even a concrete loop-the-loop.

“Woah!” Rin exclaimed, as she almost fell off.

“Haha! Now we see who's the better driver!” Yugo teased, laughing.

“Oh, you'll see who's better!” Rin 'violently pushed him off' the loop.

“Eek!” He landed rather safely, but it was still a bit uh, traumatizing.

“Yugo, you're gonna make my hair brown!” Yuri warned, clutching his (not Yugo's) head.

“I know! Calm down, I can still beat her.”

“You better!”

Serena laughed at them. “Please, Rin’s clearly winning.”

“Yeah, Yugo, how do you plan to beat me!?” Rin teased, a glint of slyness in her orange eyes.

Yugo's eyes trailed to their front.

Rin already used hers earlier, but he didn't yet—that “Turbo Speed Acceleration” kind of thing.

Rin's was still refilling, but his was full.

Meanwhile, they both neared the finish line.

“Like in a duel, Rin, my luck never fails me.”

Rin dropped her grin at that.

And Yugo took the pleasure of grinning this time. “I activate my ‘Action Magic’, Acceleration!” He triumphantly pressed the button.

“Nooo!” Rin and Serena shouted.

“Yes!” The boys cheered.

And in an instant, Yugo sped up right by Rin and reached the finish first.

“OHHH YEAHHH, WOOOO!” Yugo shouted, dismounting the runner. “I BEAT RIN FOR ONCE!”

He and Yuri fist-bumped and hi-fived each other with both hands and did the back-hit thing in those 'secret handshake' things.

“NO BROWN HAIIRRR!” Yuri yelled, making people turn to him.

“I BEAT RINNN!” Yugo exclaimed. He was so happy, he could feel the excitement running through his veins, and he ran to Rin who just got off, and they both almost stumbled to the ground.

“Woah, hey,” Rin warned. “We almost fell.”

“Now it's my turn to say, ‘That's enough you two,’” Serena said, handing Yuri a few yen.

“No brown hair,” Yuri stated casually.

“Stop, I get it already—and it's getting weirder by the minute,” Serena growled.

“Well, what’re we doing next?” Rin asked.

“That kid right there! We weren't sure what he was doing at first, but we just figured out he was hacking into the claw machine!” an officer yelled in their direction.

“Hm?” Yuri turned to the guard and saw he was pointing to Yugo. “Aw, fusion got caught.”

Yugo instantly stood up. “Let's get outta here!” he squealed.

“We should,” Serena agreed, running off.

“Guys, agai—?” Rin was broken off by the boys going off, with Yugo dragging her arm away. “Yuuugo! What did you do!?”

“Sorry! I had to get the plushie, but the machine wasn't being fair!”

“Pretty smart, though!” Serena complimented, running backwards. “If I knew how to hack, I would've done the same thing.”

“But you don't,” Yuri once again teased.

She jumped on him and they wrestled. “I've wanted to do this since earlier!” Making Yuri go “OOF—!” with surprise.

“Oh, you think it's only you?” He fought back.

“Guys!” Rin grumbled. “Right now!?”

She and Yugo had to drag their own counterparts away from each other and out of the place until they both calmed down.

The rest of the day went by with lots of fun.

There was lunch at an Xyzian Burgery Shun recommended, then a walk in the park which included its own set of activities, laser tag, pizza, and a few other things.

Yeah… It was really nice.

The day ended when the two groups parted when they all went back to Pendulum, saying their good-byes to each other and leaving. To go to their own new respective homes.

I know it is too early for this, it's awhile till it's a thing, but I love the thought of Lincoln and Ellis all bent down playing an arcade game. I think if they were at a bar and a machine was over in the back, they'd put a few plays in. I don't even think just a bar, with Danny and the two of them at a small arcade. Danny and Ellis getting real rowdy over it, getting really into it. Lincoln laughing making a comment on one of their choices and now it's suddenly to Lincoln; "If you think you're sooo good at it; YOU try!" Aha :")

I cannot tell if Danny would be the absolute best, or the absolute worst at it!! But he should would play a lot of it. He'd have fun once the machines for early driving games were up and going. He'd rlly be into it then!!

hi i loved your photoseries and i love trains and i’m going to chicago this summer so i’m wondering if you could recommend any interesting places or things to check out? its cool if not thx ^_^

ok so i would def go to chinatown its my fave part of the city! its a little bit of a walk but i love getting food in the chinatown square plaza which is like a big shopping arcade. its one of the most lived-in feeling parts of the city to me. every time i go there r all of these couples on dates and it makes me happy peace and love on planet earth etc. if im feeling up to it i'll walk to ping tom park and eat by the river. (i've also been missing home so i've desperately wanted to get barbecue at Lem's which is like a Chicago staple, but i havent done it yet bc its in between two el stations and requires a bus transfer plus is takeout only without a park nearby. so it can be done but its a bit of a haul if you're car-less. also its cash only. my gf has a car so she and i r gonna go one weekend soon when traffic isn't too bad so i'll let u know how it is (probably amazing if the hype is to be believed) )

if u like passenger trains u rlly cannot go wrong anywhere but Canal Street is fun, espescially during rush hour, because of how many trains there are leaving Union and Ogilvie.

and if u like freight trains i feel like u should take the Metra BNSF line or drive out to Berwyn (its like just outside the city limits, so not too much of a haul) anytime outside of rush hour there will be like nonstop freight trains coming in and out of cicero yard, and usually at Berwyn they're passing pretty slowly. theres also a little cafe by the train tracks called La Borra that i think is nice. their "cinnamon rolls" are really just croissants though.

also the last sunset shot i took in the series was somewhere between East Chicago and Gary on the south shore line which i think is a really really really fun ride.. right now its terminating at Dune Park while they reconstruct the Michigan City part and u have to get on a bus to go the rest of the way to south bend, but it's a really fun trip just to Dune Park if u just want to ride trains. if u get off in dune park you can take about a mile walk or bike to the beach on a nice little trail

A/N: I've been wanting to do a KNY matchup, so let's do this. But first, can I just say that you sound like such a stunning person?? (You cannot tell me that you're not, I know I'm right) Your hair must be fucking incredible, I absolutely love mullets, and don't even get me started on how nice and fun of a person you seem to be [/pos]. Your request was a blast to read through, so I was pretty hyped for this matchup and knew off the bat who you would pair well with.

Inosukue! Honestly, it would be so funny watching the two of you interact at first; when you guys first meet (if I'm reading you correctly), he would be challenging you to some random ass competition off the bat, it doesn't matter where the two of you are. After seeing you kick ass (you can't tell me you wouldn't) during a fight with a few high-level demons, he'd take it as an indirect challenge and there would be no getting out of it. He would probably want to actually fight you, but you'd probably have him on the ground in, like, a minute, so all that would do is make him even more fixated on beating you in something.

For the next few weeks, he will turn everything into a competition, whether it's who can eat their dinner the fastest, who does the best in training (assuming you're not a hashira), etc. You humour him for a bit, maybe even the first two weeks, but after a while, it just gets tiring and even Inosuke needs a break at some point. He'd probably end up stumbling across you painting//drawing after a long day of training at the Butterfly Estate, and would just kinda watch you for a minute. While it’s truly out of character for him to be stunned into silence, just watching you so at peace and makes him wonder how you’re able to switch between your social and robust self to. . . something like the quiet, tranquil ambiance you had about you then.

But once he snaps out of it, he'd march over to you and ask what you were doing, that kind of thing. When you explain that you're just drawing//painting, all your free will of drawing what you want to is over, you get no more of that. He is forcing you to draw him, no matter how much you protest, and after you're done, he's parading around and bragging to EVERYONE that you drew him. To be honest, he wouldn't stop talking about it for the next few days, and if he ever needs a boost in an argument with someone (Zenitsu), he's bringing it up.

"You can't just take my food!" Zenitsu cried, clearly agitated and distraught over the fact that Inosuke had taken over half his meal after he had polished everything else off. Tanjirou had gone off to give Nezuko some food, which had left you in charge of watching over the two to make sure they didn't wreck some ancient hashira heirloom that was left lying around, but not even five minutes after and they were already looking like they were about to start swinging at each other. Inosuke, who barely even looked up from the stolen food before continuing his fervent attempts to eat everything in sight, grunted a low chuckle, clearly only encouraged by the lightning-wielder.

"Why not? You left it sitting there, so I called it," He responded between vigorous bites, the entire scenario only making you watch in flickering bemusement, torn between whether you should intervene or let it continue on. Entertainment while you ate was never something you could complain about, and this was certainly better than any play you could go see; besides, nature had to work it's course somehow, right?

"Rex-chaaannn," Zenitsu whined, his voice instantly gaining a more sugary sweet tone, rather than the course, unchecked one he had used on the boar head just a few moments ago. "Tell Inosuke to give me back my food."

You bit your lip in an attempt to hold back laughter when the accused slayer shouted something from across the table, "Shut up, Monitsu!"

The clearly incorrect pronunciation of his name sent Zenitsu into a fit, shouting practically unintelligible things from how fast he was talking, looking as though he were about ready to jump across the table to try and fight him when you burst into laughter, unable to contain it any longer. Inosuke spared you a brief glance, but the somewhat proud smirk that took residence upon his features as he continued to eat wasn't something that you exactly missed but chose not to point it out.

"I don't think there's much for you to eat now anyways," You finally commented after recovering from your fit of laughter, heaving an amused sigh when Zenitsu let out a noise of dismay.

"You can't keep taking my food, you simpleton!"

"Yeah I can, they drew ME, not you, so that's just another reason that I'm better than you!"

It would just be a love hate relationship between you guys; while you have your playful fights (both verbal banter and physical), you'r always there to back the other up in combat and Inosuke appreciate the support in his own, odd little way. For whatever reason, though, he still feels like he has to prove that he's better than you and insists that he just lets you stick around to give you something to do. When really, it's probably just the other way around.

I get the feeling that you'd probably throw your arm around his shoulders after a successful fight and boast about how you two did more work than Tanjirou and Zenitsu (playfully, obviously). Whenever you do that, it fills him with so much pride and for a second it doesn't register in his head for the first time, like?? 'They're not challenging ME? The hell's this about?' before realizing what you're saying and it only makes him more egotistical. He'd put up a weak front and say something like "Lord Inosuke did most of the work, Krex!" (the incorrect name </3) but wouldn't say much against you aside from that.

When you guys start dating and he gets introduced to physical affection, he gets so confused by what the hell it all means, but secretly enjoys your hugs nevertheless. After the two of you confessed, he would definitely brag about it and hold it over everyone's heads, like he did with the drawing, and it's just beyond humorous at that point.

Inosuke would 100% finally get your name right, and whenever anyone complains that he gets yours and not theirs, his knee-jerk reaction is always to respond with; "Yeah, 'cause they're important". Would cause endless conflict among people, but it's worth it seeing him be so stupid, insulting and caring all at the same time.

He carries you around a lot, especially enjoys giving you piggyback rides or parading around the Butterfly Estate with you hefted up on his shoulders, announcing to everyone that the two of you are "coming through". He will probably show you off a lot, because he just finds you to be such a great person and wants everyone to know that you exist and will be sure that no one cuts you off when you speak!!

He teaches you his breathing technique, change my mind.

As far as your ideal dates go, you're probably the only person who would be able to get him to sit still long enough for that kind of thing, let alone ENJOY it, but he's willing to do whatever makes you happy. (Don't be discouraged by however begrudgingly he may act when following after you to go to them, he's hyped to get to spend time with you) While he has his different ideas of fun, you always manage to persuade him to do that kind of stuff with him, and he'll almost always agree.

The two of you would be absolutely adorable together! I feel like you two would have known each other for a while before you started dating, it would absolutely be a mutual pining sort of thing. One of the things she is initially attracted to is your physical appearance. She is known to march to the beat of her own drum, not really bothering to care about what others may think about her. Luna does not mind in the slightest how clingy you might be, in fact she actively encourages it! The two of you take turns spending the night in the others dorm, holding onto her as you both try to battle sleep, not wanting to stop the tender moment you share. There is a positive, that her being able to wake up to you the following morning. As stated previously, she likes to take care of you. She doesn’t get angry very often, in fact she never raises her voice, but if someone is purposefully being mean to you? She can be quite scary. Keeping her voice eerily steady as she confronts the person making you upset. You might have trouble sticking up for yourself, but no worries, she is the first person to put them back in their place.

Probably the best date location, in her opinion, is when you sneak out to go stargazing by The Great Lake. With the two of you lying side by side, content in a comfortable silence, watching the stars above you. She is the first to speak, telling you all of the various constellations she has grown up admiring. Shuffling closer to her to hear her more clearly, loving the way she rambles on an on about what the various stars represent. She doesn’t notice you looking up at her face as she talks, blushing when she realises, apologising for dumping all that information on you. You can’t help but smile, happy in the knowledge that she is comfortable enough to just ramble at you, not caring what comes out of her mouth. She is more grateful than you know.
