To me the shrouded mystery line is a mystery, Taylor was ending the Red World Tour and later in the year embarked on the most active publicity of her career and 1989 World Tour, but in the moment I guess. She and Harry did not speak for some months, by the end of the year they were saying they were on good terms and based on later songs we know were back together before the end of 2013

1/ 'my immediate thought was late-KH1 Riku being like ‘I hate you. Die.’ and his daemon rubbing up against Sora’s and being really affectionate with it, betraying the love in his heart' LMAO my thoughts exactly. also Riku's daemon being the chillest entity out there while he's having teenage angst.... poetic cinema. honestly, while dream eaters being daemons would be cool I kinda have a hard time imagining them talk? too much of the "not from our reality" vibes ig.

2/ A dog for Riku would be nice, considering the lengths of his loyalty to Sora. I was also thinking big cats? like snow leopard. my brain kinda malfunctions when I try to come up with something for Sora, but bunny!Sora concept that Canary has really grown on me (also one of the characters from HDM who had a rabbit daemon kinda left a hole in my soul). Sora really makes it a point to help ppl he meets so figures his daemon would be friend-shaped.

3/ More of an afterthought, but I also like the idea of Namine having a bird daemon 'cause she's a "witch", and witches in HDM always have bird daemons to fly along with them. And Sora and Roxas having extremely different daemons just to make it a point that they're different people. And while I'm not certain about Riku, Terra DEFINITELY has a dog daemon.

Ig since Nomura constantly associates Sora w felines (initial concept lionboy Sora, lion cub Sora in the Pride Lands, his Meow Wow dream eater, catboy Sora in Monsters Inc, tbh even anti-form is reminiscent of a feral cat) my brain goes to cats for him, even though he doesn’t really have the personality of a cat… Well, maybe that’s not entirely true. Some cats are cuddly and social… They’re really funny when they get wound up… Sora’s curious and does like to nap a lot in the sun lmao

Sora also wants to be like big and imposing, but he’s so small and cute instead, which reminds me of a cat. That doesn’t mean he should be underestimated, though! All cats have claws…

I asked my bf and he said Sora reminds him of a monkey, which makes me think of those later-concept sketches of Sora like walking on his hands and having a convo w Kairi while he’s hanging upside down from a tree branch dhhfhdhs Later-concept Sora was very acrobatic. He’d fit in at a circus.

A bunny’s cute… Something aquatic might be interesting, too, since Sora loves sailing. Maybe a seal or sea lion or something. They are very friend-shaped, can be trained to do fun tricks, and also like to nap in the sun. And even though they look cute and are usually friendly, they’re still predators. (They’re also bouncy like Meow Wows!)

Yeah, something loyal and hard-working for Riku, like a canine. I already said wolf, but it’s true! haha Wolves especially are fiercely loyal and protective. They’re big and sometimes scary, but they’re quite playful and caring w their pack. Sometimes a wolf wanders on its own, which is where we get the phrase “lone wolf” from, but it never wants to be alone, which also reminds me of Riku.

A swan also comes to mind for Riku. They’re big, graceful, beautiful birds, but they’re not timid. They’re fiercely protective, and they mate for life. Google says they can pair bond v young, which makes me think of how Riku’s been dedicated to Sora since he was like 5. Swans are also a symbol of light and sacred to Apollo, which is why his chariot’s often pulled by swans or composed of swans in art. (Wolves are also sacred to Apollo, apparently! Haha)

Also, the phrase “swan song” comes from the belief that swans sing beautifully upon death, which reminds me of Riku’s light singing or ringing when Sora calls out to him in the tunnel... Idk 🤷‍♀️

I can totally see a bird for Namine! Idk what kind… but maybe a songbird? She’s always kind of reminded me of a caged bird singing… And yeah, I can see a dog for Terra, too. What kind of dog were you thinking of?

Before I start answering this ask, we need to first understand the way in which this ‘being able to read the other Shinobi’s heart’ thing works. Kishimoto has kind of made this very ambiguous and difficult to understand at times.

We are first introduced to this idea during the VOTE 1 fight. But never really got to see much of this throughout the series. Sasuke and Naruto being the only ones who read each other’s heart completely.

This concept of reading each other’s heart is a bit wobbly because it has never been very explicitly explored in the series. The only times we get to see this happening is only one or two times, and we tend to get very selective snippets of peeking into the concerned Shinobi’s hearts.

For example, the first time in VOTE 1, Sasuke does introduce this concept but we fail to understand anything about it. In fact Sasuke is very illusive when he goes ahead and I quote, says, “You can see what’s in my heart, can’t you, Naruto?” And then we see Naruto’s thoughts, ‘So, in fact it is the truth, you really want to kill me, you are doing it for real. All your thoughts are concentrated on getting rid of me.’

We as audience do understand that some sort of umm... privy to audience, conversation has happened between these two and they can hence read each other’s heart. But then the question arises as to how? Because they are not full fledged Shinobi yet!

And then we get a somewhat clear understanding over here,

We are reminded of the concept once again. But this time with a little bit of more clarity. When Sasuke and Naruto are full fledged Shinobis and they traded blows once again, we are drawn into a separate space, which is most probably an intimate, personal sort of space where two opposing Ninjas could open their hearts to one another.

This entire panel, we are only privy to Naruto’s thoughts. But towards the end when Naruto mentions them being able to read each other, we are again thrown into a loop because,

Naruto goes ahead and commits to some very heavy promises. Which makes us as an audience question, what on earth went on in their ‘mind valley’ (we gonna call it the ‘mind valley’ from now on for easy reference) exchange that Naruto came out so passionate and sure about their deaths. Which once again leaves a huge gap between what was shown (Naruto’s thoughts in the previous few panels) and Sasuke’s lack of any interaction. None of those ‘conversations’ between the two adds up to this conclusion. So, quite a few things privy to us audiences and known only to the two party involved (N & S) had happened in their ‘mind valley’ conversation.

So, once again, we don’t really know how this works.

Now for your ask, @sasukenarutoblog ,

Naruto and Obito are having one of their ‘mind valley’ moments over here. So we get to see some snippets of both Naruto and Obito point of views.

The above picture, (the one you tagged me with), is through Naruto’s memories(Naruto’s p.o.v). Therefore we can see all the Shinobi surrounding Naruto, the ones whom are important to him (which somehow is the entire Shinobi world) at this point.

But there is no Sasuke in here.

On the other hand, when we get to get a glimpse at what Obito is feeling, we find Sasuke, right there, staring up a storm at Naruto. So, this obviously makes the audience go, ‘Where is ur bf dumbass. You forgot Sasuke there.’

No, it’s no such thing. Kishimoto is everything but careless (at least when it comes to N & S). He is very articulate and sneaky.

Yes, these are the memories of Naruto during the end of VOTE 2 where Sasuke gets to see everything Naruto feels towards him. Over here we see this reference again, the whole Shinobi world being precious to Naruto.

But we also have additions, Kushina and Minato. People closest to Naruto, his mom and dad. Ever wonder why it was only Sasuke who got to see MinaKushi and not Obito.

Then we also have this...

Something tailored only and only for Sasuke. That place beside Naruto, the position which proves Sasuke was the closest to Naruto. It was meant only for Sasuke’s eyes. It also helps that the camera zooms in and the rest of the world fades away, it is only Sasuke and Naruto there (the exclusivity of love).

So from all the above informations, I could only conjecture about certain things.

The ‘mind valley’ thing only works when one Shinobi open up their heart to their enemy Shinobi voluntarily (for obvious reasons). And Shinobis being highly trained individuals, who could mask their thoughts and presence at any given time, can also choose the amount of information they are allowing their enemy Shinobi to view in form of these memories (once again for obvious reasons).

Thus Sasuke being absent from the memories of Naruto when they were being viewed by Obito was a very simple fact. To Naruto, Sasuke is very precious, a part of his life and heart that he is very possessive about. He would not show Sasuke (his vulnerability) to just anyone. Sasuke’s importance and presence in Naruto’s world, his life and heart is meant to be known by only one person, Sasuke himself.

Hoseok

In public:

♡  ik this is controversial but hobi really doesn't seem like a pda kinda guy to me

♡  like, he'll hold your hand and give you his coat if you're cold and sit really close to you. but that's as far as he'll go.

♡  no kissing in public, no flirty dialogue. he won't be cold to you but he doesn't want everyone to see everything you know?

♡  which makes sense bc the members said he's actually serious off camera

♡  but he’s still super protective and loving. he just wants to respect your space and your guys’ relationship, which is why he isn’t as open / makes as many jokes about it to others. it’s important to him bc he’s so loyal

In private:

♡  at home it's a totally different story bc at home he's comfortable with u and no cameras

♡  constant kisses (he will pepper multiple all over ur face if u do something cute, fair warning)

♡  being helpful is also hobi’s love language i bet. like, if you’re cooking? he’s got the dishes (and he won’t let you do them!). if he’s cooking, then you better sit back and relax bc hobi’s got you!!

♡  he’ll also probably laugh so much at little things you do and give you little compliments (”you’re so funny” or “how did you even think of that haha”)

Namjoon

In public:

♡  similar to hoseok, not a big fan of pda.  on the pda scale, namjoon is between yoongi and hoseok

♡  like, he's not as openly touchy as hoseok but he really cares about you

♡  he doesn't touch you for too long you know? like if you're in public he'll hold ur hand for a little bit but he doesn't like the cameras seeing too much. so that makes him similar to hobi.

♡  but at the same time he can't really keep his hands off you altogether, which makes him touchier than yoongi. like, he'll brush your hair out of your face when it's windy and wipe the corner of your mouth if you're eating lunch. just enough touch that every touch feels electric

In private:

♡  in private, namjoon is very touchy. almost every conversation ends with a kiss to your lips. if he's watching you cook (since he's learning), he'll put his hands on your hips

♡  it's not sexual most of the time, it's just that he listens to you talk and goes all omgtheyresocutewhatdoido and then it ends up being affection

♡  i feel like joonie would be like a little golden retriever puppy tbh like you would do anything and he would be like do you want help? is that thing heavy, here I’ll hold it.

Every Renga Moment Per Episode

Episode 1

When they first meet Reki jumps over Langa with his board and Langa goes “ :0 “

How when Reki gets challenged for a race Langa notices he’s injured and despite having only known him for a day/never skateboarding before he steps in to race for him.

Reki looking at Langa jump with fireworks in the background with the amazement of a blind man seeing color for the first time.

Episode 2

Reki grabbing Langa by the collar, shouting “You’re Amazing!!!”, then proceeding to fangirl over how cool he is. 

Reki being a supportive teacher and helping out Langa anyway he can :)

Reki completely sincerely offering to hold Langa’s hand if he’s scared.

Langa getting visibly excited when he sees Reki coming to give him his upgraded board.

Langa being completely unfazed when Reki jumps on him like a monkey (boy really can support his whole weight just like that huh).

When Langa sees Reki cheering for him in the crowd and gets that “my bf believes in me” smile.

Reki immediately launching himself at Langa when he won, showering him with praise.

Episode 4

Langa somehow knowing exactly where Reki would be practicing and coming to see him.

 Langa already knowing Reki enough to correctly guess at his past and his motives.

Langa going into protective bf mode upon seeing  ADAM’s creepy ass scaring Reki and rushing over to stop them.

How Reki was on the verge of giving up before a memory of Langa inspired him to keep going. 

Langa watching Reki’s race and getting excited about Reki nailing the turn when he should be focused on driving.

Langa being a concerned bf when Reki gets hurt :(

Episode 5

Concerned Langa waiting outside the Emergency room for Reki and showing clear relief when he’s okay.

Langa telling Reki “He said you look cool”.

Reki having a nightmare about Langa getting hurt and waking up screaming his name in the middle of class like you do.

The way Langa immediately notices Reki struggling to open his drink and wordlessly opens it for him.

Reki trying to stop Langa from racing against ADAM because he’s scared of him getting hurt.

Langa confirming that at least part of his reason for challenging ADAM was that he was mad at him for getting Reki hurt.

Reki telling Langa that he’s scared of losing him and Langa promising he won’t like a scene straight out of a shoujo manga.

Langa calling out Reki for staring at a girl and predicting his thoughts.

Langa seeing his bf is about to do something reckless and grabbing his wrist like ‘no hard tricks for you babe you’ll get more hurt’.

Okay but like really Reki was literally in Langa’s lap there was no reason for him to do that and there was no reason for Langa to keep his arm around Reki even after the ‘joke’ was over like c’mon are you-

Reki repairing Langa’s board and being able to give him skating advice from looking at the scratches alone, Langa reacting to this with complete awe and more praises of “Reki you’re amazing!” while Reki thinks “You’re even more amazing”.

Langa, despite being super excited about racing, noticing Reki is missing and quitting the race to go back for him, apologizing for leaving him behind.
