THICKER THAN BLOOD
PART ONE : misses on a mission!
content warning: fluff(?), profanity usage, platonic use of pet names (sunny, my girl, etc), not really proofread so beware of grammar mistakes…BLACK!FEM!READER
synopsis: the uzui’s get requested for a infiltration mission but this may be more than what they bargained for…
characters: tengen, makio, hinatsuru, and suma.
notes: this does contain some modern aspects that have been intertwined with the past of the taisho era…so just roll with it. also lowercase is intended.
[before the infiltrating the yoshiwara district]
in your eyes this was a normal day, waking up to makio yelling at suma who accidentally knocked something over or whatever happened…you were just exhausted.
‘hell, ion blame her, it’s 7 in the morning on our day off.’ you thought to yourself as you walked from out of your room to the main living room. hina was the first to notice when you walked in, makio and suma still in the midst of arguing.
“good morning [name]! hope you slept well.” she said with a small apologetic smile.
“morning hina.” you say letting out a yawn which, surprisingly, caught the attention of the other two women in the room.
“oh, good morning sunny!” suma says smiling with a pillow in her hand to block whatever makio was trying to throw at her.
“hi [name]...sorry for waking you.” makio says in an apologetic tone.
“let’s go get you some breakfast. mmkay?” hinatsuru says with her signature smile.
“yeah, sound nice. you guys should come too, i’m pretty sure you’re hungry.” i say trying to discreetly diffuse the situation going on in the living room. the four of us went into the kitchen to make breakfast. the calm atmosphere allowed my brain to fully awaken and think for a moment. i let my thoughts run wild while mixing up the dough and then realize someone was missing…
“where’s tengen?” i ask the three woman. ‘i know his supersonic hearing ass ain’t sleep.’ you thought to yourself.
“he went to meet with master. he should be back shortly.” makio stated while focusing on her task.
you hummed in satisfaction at her response, soon enough breakfast was ready and tengen eventually returned. although, he seemed a bit off but it’s tengen…nothings ever normal with him. you just decide to brush it off for now trying to focus on other morning task. it wasn’t until you finished helping makio clean the kitchen when something dawned upon you…
‘i haven’t washed my hair in three weeks fuckin round wit tengen ass.’ you thought as you excused yourself from the older woman’s presence, he thought it would be good bonding to slay demons together, honestly you thought it was a good idea but for THREE weeks straight??!! hell nah. migrating to the bathroom to start washing your hair, by the grace of god the process seemed easier than normal and you were done rather quickly.
(ah shit sum bouta happen..)
you were then sitting on the floor, in front of a mirror with various hair products spread around you. after about 45 minutes of doing 2 different hairstyles which didn’t work out, you reasoned with putting your hair in one puff and swooping your edges.
(mood asf)
walking out into the living room you find the four adults staring at you. they then motion you to come sit down so they can explain what’s going on. skeptically you do as your asked and sit down.
“please don’t tell me you pissed off shinazugawa again.”
“HUH? if i did then he had it coming!”
“can you focus on what we’re supposed to be talking to her about.”
oh right, he almost forgot. he didn’t wanna tell you but he had to, he wanted you to know, you needed to know. as he was explaining everything, himself and the wives watched as your face contorted, indicating that you wanted to make a comment, but you held your tongue in order to hear the whole story.
(why did i make that so dramatic like it’s not that serious.)
“so you’re tellin me that master wants us to infiltrate the red light district because of the girls disappearing too often..?” you say looking up at the white haired man trying to make sense of the situation.
“yes, we suspect a demon is hiding amongst them. master requested for us specifically because of our previous background.” tengen stated calmly.
he learned that infiltration missions made you nervous. the lack of info and the endless amount of ‘what if’s’, it was easier to have a foundation of what you were dealing with but you wouldn’t know until you got there. it could be one of the 12 kizuki or a demon close in power, then there was the possibility of multiple demons working together, not to mention that this could be the last mission for all of you. as you were lost in thought, you barely heard tengen calling out to you trying to retrieve an answer.
“yo..[name]!” he said damn near yelling.
“damnit. yes?” you said looking over at him.
“you in or..?” he looked at you with a seemingly blank expression.
“sure am.” you said as a toothy grin made its way onto your face.
“that’s my girl.” tengen replied with a similar grin now on his face.
this is lowkey ass but it’s been sitting in the drafts for TOO LONG!! if you (somehow) did enjoy then thanks for reading!!

Community Service
Rex, during the commute back to Coruscant: It's so quiet without the 105th troopers around...
Jesse: You're saying that like it's a bad thing?
Rex: Hm? Oh, no not at all. I just... Got used to expecting even more trouble than usual is all...
Jesse: Well, once we get to Coruscant we'll know how they've been getting along with their 'community service' assignment.
Rex: Yeah... Fox is keeping tabs on that while also keeping tabs on when we'll finally be able to pick up a massiff for them. I'm a little nervous to find out what the boys have been up to.
-Several Hours after Touch Down on Triple Zero-
Fox, via holocall: Still no word on the massiff pup, Rex.
Rex: Oh, yeah I know. You'd leave a message if you had anything new on that front. I just uh, wanted to check on how the 105th veterans were dealing with their current assignment.
Fox: ...Well they haven't set the Madam's brothel on fire, if that is what you're worried about.
Rex:
Fox: They're doing ok Rex. I have some of my boys keeping tabs on the 105th men, and they're excellent as security detail. Seem to be receptive to the Madam's crew, since they're the least threatening people on Coruscant.
Rex: And they haven't been... Instigating fights?
Fox: Negative. All is well... Although I do hope the 'breeder' comes through soon, because while they seem to be more comfortable with the Madam's crew, I've been informed that they still seem to have issues trusting each other. A pet project like training their own therapy animal should help them bond more readily.
Rex: I hope so too... Vode that can't trust other vode are a risk to themselves and others. And after everything they've been through, they deserve to at least be able to trust that they have each other's backs.
Fox, somewhat melancholic: Yeah...

To your monster, and back.
Chapter 1 <3 enjoy
Warning!slight gore(?)
He finished the last of his victim, feeling the blood leak in his mouth, moaning at the flavor. He dropped the severed limb from his clammy hands, grunting as he stood up from his spot he sat in. He scratched his head, walking away from the crimson scene, heading back to the kyogoku house to return to his sister.
Someone came by the alley and shrieked at the crime scene. Limbs teared apart, fragments of skin gone, the devil's color splattered across the floor.
Word spreaded around, people grown frightened and anxious. Some of the houses restricted people from coming in. This only made Gyutaro amused, this type of lockdown has been repeatedly happening every time he murders somebody out in the open where they can easily find. And one time, he even got someone to be aware of his existence, eating them in the end before they can cry out and shout. He only stared at his sister who was pampering with her makeup, a thin white cloth in between her lips. She looked up at him, smirking.
"Causing a ruckus again, brother? You've been doing this for the past century now and the people have been starting to worry for the past few years. When are you exactly going to stop?" He only held a smug smile and shrugged. There was a knock on the door behind the screen, and Gyutaro quickly dashed over to Daki, disappearing once his body dissolved in her. Daki cleared her throat before looking at herself in the mirror.
"You may come in."
And there you were, in a white kimono with silk fabric that shined in the light. Your hair was up, a silver crystal pin in your hair. You had your hands holding each other with delicacy, your soft gaze fixing up upon the oiran. "Speak," her voice was firm and laced with venom, a cold shiver running down your back as you saw her green yellowish eyes glare at you. You quickly bow before speaking up once again, "Omitsu wishes to see you and for you to meet special customers. It's rather urgent and she would like you to meet them. Our house would earn popularity at that if the word spreaded around." She only hummed in response, setting her stuff down, putting things that were back in place. You stood up, waiting awkwardly. You expected her to stand up and walk out of her room but she didn't and you didn't want to make her get up and get her downstairs, so you just waited patiently. She stopped, staring at herself in the mirror before flickering her menacing eyes at you. "What do you want? Speak or leave." You opened your mouth to speak, rushing to speak. You stammered, fingers twitching. "I thought-.. I thought you were just gonna- get up and.. You know.. Meet the customers.. I'm- I'm just waiting for you," your mood was slightly brought down at your stuttering response until you saw her standing up gracefully, twisting her neck at you. Her eyes boring into your irises. "This better be worth it."
Gyutaro couldn't speak for himself, not for his sister, not for anyone. He couldn't explain how beautiful you were. A small part of him wanted to say he found you more beautiful than he did to his sister but he couldn't say that. Not to his sister's face. He found every part of you beautiful, Daki's eyes softening on you and she didn't know why. Her eye twitched before furrowing her brows. She dug her nails into her skin, seeing Gyutaro react to the human before her.
And you, unsure of what's going on, thought she was getting angry at you. You bowed go her in fear before walking away without a word, making Gyutaro feel empty. Daki waited until you reached downstairs, annoyed at her brother. "What was that, brother?! That was just a mere existence of a human being."
She controlled her volume, her voice steady and laced with an attitude. Gyutaro only mentally rolled his eyes, Daki yelping as she felt her body move on her own. She gritted her teeth, trying to hold back but couldn't. She didn't want to mess up her kimono either. Her strength was no match for his.
"Big.. Brother!!" She quietly whispered, her voice strained. She was stiff, already at the top of the stairs. She walked down the stairs against her will, meeting the lady of the house with rich handsome customers. She glanced at you who was standing there, staying quiet like the obedient girl you are. This only made Gyutaro smirk, resulting in making Daki smirk.
Was something wrong with you? Funny about you?? You didn't get it. You didn't get how and why the oiran was grinning at you or even looking at you, it made you blush in embarrassment. You watched as she talked to the customers, guiding them upstairs, glancing at you one more time before disappearing. Huh.
Why were you gaining attention from the oiran?
Isn't long but it seems nice, I worked on this at 1am so please be patient on the douma fanfic. I'm still working on it, it's my first smut I'll probably ever do - Author
