I just love that, throughout the whole story, Atsushi grows more confident with his ability. He isn't just using the tiger tail or the paws, during a fight, but he starts to use the tiger's sense of smell and hearing. It's incredibly useful.

Animanga readers/watchers be like: "I just don't want to see just fights in anime", "We need to know the characters backstories", "We need to see the characters interact!".
Then you get a whole season about most of the characters interacting, the backstories of the side characters and people are already complaining "IT's bOrInG", "It'LL bE sHiTty".
Just go watch some shoujo then and stop wasting air

Fuck Shibuya. Gojo brought the kids on a trip to Kyoto (and of course Todo invited himself, since it's Kyoto)

THE FREAKING CHILLS!
We often underestimate Ranpo's feelings for the Agency members, but he cares about all of them, as much they care about him. The ADA is a big weird family.
(I'd like to point out that Dazai's also here, meaning that Ranpo cares about him too and he sees him as one of them. "ADA never includes Dazai as one of them" JUST.SHUT.IT.)

He genuinely believes that defeating Akutagawa, his sworn rival, it would make him find peace. He really gives Akutagawa's presence in his life A LOT of importance.
I get that beating your rival would be cathartic for you. It can actually give you confidence.
If only healing could be this easy...

And somehow both Oda and Akutagawa died "because" of it. There's something doomed for those mafiosi who cease to kill. It's like they weren't supposed to last long, after keeping the promise of not kill people anymore.
In the Dark Era, Oda saved Akutagawa from the very enemy that then ended up killing him. By fighting and killing Gide, Oda would have broken his own promise. And that's when he met his own end. 4 years later, after stating that he kept his promise not to kill, Akutagawa died in that mission. The goal was to defeat and maybe even kill Fukuchi. He obviously went for it.
The cruel thing is that both Oda and Akutagawa died by the hand of someone who could peek into the future (In Fukuchi's case, he would have known what would have happened in the future and then erase it, changing the past)
Also, I realise that both Oda and Aku were killed by someone who respected them somehow. Gide wanted to fight Oda, because he knew he could be the only one to save him and his people, hence his ability. Fukuchi could understand Akutagawa's reasoning, which was similar to his than Atsushi's. He found Akutagawa slightly harder to defeat, but he also respected his ideals and that's why he wanted him to join the Hunting Dogs. He was also avaiable to mentor him.
I'll always believe that Oda and Aku were linked somehow right from the start.
Moral of the story: if you're going to stay in the PM, you can't stop taking lives, or you'll meet your end sooner than later

I did some thinking and... if Bram was (still is? will still be?) "ONE OF THE TEN CALAMITIES TO DESTROY THE WORLD", what happened to the remaining nine? Have they been killed off already? Have they been sealed away, kinda like Bram? Do you think we'll learn more about them or it's just something that Asagiri dropped, without too much care?
