Since you liked this headcanon, here's my own apportation:

Both Orion and Walburga having been close friends with Eileen Prince before she eloped with Tobias, and one of the reasons they despise muggles so much is because they "stole her away". Years later, when they know Regulus is friends with a poor half-blood, they're ready to cut off that friendship asap...until they see the boy.

The poor half-blood in question looks like a carbon copy of Eileen, but in a man's body. Even his mannerisms are the same. And when he introduces himself and reveals the truth? Surprise, he's suddenly invited to Black Manor for all holidays and they insist on Regulus remaining friends with him.

Regulus is confused. Severus doesn't know what he's supposed to think. And Sirius, well, he's flabbergasted

Sorry for being a bit late with your Christmas present but here I have a drawing of Lin Beifong!! I hope y’all like it!! Took me roughly 4.5 hours to complete it so I hope y’all like it.

I’m sure if we’re in any discord groups together, you’ve already heard about my evil Lin, but if you haven’t, oop- owo I won’t say anymore yet skdksjkdjskdjksjdksj

Here are some hc’s I have for holiday Lin!

Lin is the type of person that would spend a lot of money getting the people she loves, presents for the holidays, but when she receives a rather expensive gift she is ready to murder you for spending that much.

Lin pretends she doesn’t care for the holidays but she does listen to what you want for the holidays. You could be mindlessly be babbling on and on about what you want or what you’ve seen and Lin always makes a mental note on it.

Her first year without Tenzin or her family, Lin had covered so many shifts during the holidays, she was given a new Sato vehicle by everyone helping in and giving it to Lin after the holidays were over. They thanked Lin, gave her a party and said she was the nicest person in the precinct, tho that was before Lin showed them other wise.

During the years, Lin always allowed her men to take the holidays off and would cover their shifts, even if it was beat cop work. She always enjoyed the way her boys perked up hearing they were allowed time off at their work.

Lin would throw a party for the people that worked during the holidays, she’d always have food ready for her men, drinks, holiday themed treats and sometimes even gifts she got for them. The gifts always included either pairs of socks, gift cards for food or even a nice bottle of whiskey.

Her boys adored Lin and knew under her hard, cold exterior she was nice and very thoughtful. It became a tradition to fill Lin’s office up with random stuff every year. One year it was fancy coats, the next turtle ducks, and so on and so forth. Though the year of the turtle ducks had to be their favorite it because Lin chased the little ducklings around making sure they weren’t squished. They’ve never seen Lin ever hold an animal but that year they saw Lin look so caring for her now new babies.

When Lin would look at her city from the roof tops, her men would take turns checking in on Lin, giving her hot chocolate breaks, snack breaks and even warming her hands up.

When Mako began his job at the precinct, he was confused on why Lin only had them do “paperwork” instead of actual police business. He was even more confused when Lin told him to shut up and party. It wasn’t until later they explained that Lin always threw a party during the holidays for the people that either don’t have families, homes or don’t celebrate the holidays. And when Lin gave Mako not only a nice coat and gloves but also a gift card to one of the best dry cleaners in the city for his scarf to make sure it’s always in good condition and cleaned.

Soon Mako got into the spirit of things at work and he loved his job more. When he and Lin grew closer and he began to see Lin as some sort of mother figure, he one day gave Lin a scarf. Everyone knew Lin would never wear such a thing but were surprised when she wore it. Now Lin and Mako matched and it was a bond.

Lin may not have a family anymore but her men were hers, they were her family and Lin couldn’t be happier.

Clicked over 1000 familiars. Did all the daily site actions. Spent 3 hours in boreal wood because everyone keeps saying its the best place to be. 19 chests. After trading food/crap for chests the number went up to 22. neat. I have PAGES of grimoires, mirrors and that crap but theres always one component of the trade that just does NOT drop for me. Before some replyguy goes "ackshually you just had a bad run, you should just play for longer periods of time" or "well *I* have good luck so I don't believe you uwu": it's been like this the last two years. These numbers aren't unusual for me. No-lifeing the game got me a grand total of 200 chests last year, after I had to buy chest trade food, and 7 eggs (surprise, they were all full of Garbage). Glad your randomized luck is better than mine but that doesn't really make it more fun for me lol. Jfc just kill me now i hate the bullshit rng on this site. Effort is not rewarded it's just "randomized". Between the awful drop rates and the obnoxious dodging (multiple times i got fuckin.. 8 or more dodges in a row so that was cool super) I have no patience for coli this year. Oh well, I'll just go grind on other games with holiday events instead. Have fun bois! :v

It seemed that everywhere Meian Shūgo looked, it was always the same person captivating him.

You, his best friend's younger sister. You, his childhood friend and the adorable little princess next door. You, the plague of his life.

Meian was but a wee little boy of three when you entered the world seven days prior to his third birthday. He knows because he was having a playdate at home, with your older brother in attendance, as well as several other kindergarten friends of his.

He remembers it as clear as day. His parents were excited at the birth of a new baby in the neighbourhood, and they were also close friends of your parents. Your brother was also rushed to the hospital with your grandparents as your mother conceived you laboriously. Your father was already at your mother's side as you emerged, a baby of three point seven kilogrammes, with a pinkish hue to your pudgy little cheeks.

Meian had the opportunity to see the miracle of life at the age of three. Although he could only see you through the glass panels, he knew that he would grow to love you, and to cherish you.

You were finally a decade old.

Thirteen-year-old Meian was plagued by your presence. A tiny child of ten who often intruded into his time with your older brother, be it studying simple geometry or playing computer games, you were always there.

Back then, your voice was rather annoying, Meian would think. He was rather glad that he had younger brothers. They didn't speak as much, or scream or squeal as much.

Despite all that, Meian always knew that he had a soft spot for you. He could never say no to you, nor ignore you like an older brother would.

But, that's who he's supposed to be, right? Just another older brother of yours though the both of you were technically unrelated by blood?

He was barely a teenager, still considered a young boy.

He would wait until he's older to think about all that.

Meian had made his decision. He would avoid you as much as he could from now on.

You had blossomed into a bright young lady at the age of seventeen. Every time he saw you, inexplicable emotions would rouse within him, making him feel vulnerable and partially hopeless.

He was now a boy of twenty, a university student with a scholarship in volleyball. He had plans to become a professional volleyball player. And if that didn't work out, he could bounce back on his double degrees of accountancy and business.

He couldn't imagine that other life though. Sitting behind a screen in some fancy office doing paperwork. Boring, mundane stuff.

He recalls an interesting encounter with you in his third year of university.

He was seated in a café near school, earphones plugged into his ears while he was typing out digits on an Excel spreadsheet. He hadn't even noticed your presence until you tugged his headphones out in a most unladylike manner.

The sun's rays were highlighting the floral patterns of your summer dress and the distinct brown of your plaited hair. And then, he saw you frown.

Uh oh.

"Why have you been avoiding me? It's the holidays but you've yet to come say hi. Is it because of school? Or did you have an argument with my brother? Or are you mad at me? Cuz if you are, I don't know what I've done but I'm sorry and I just want things to go back to normal," you said that all in one breath.

Meian merely adjusted his spectacles while absorbing all the questions you'd suddenly bombarded him with.

Then, it hit him. You were now twenty. You were now in university.

You were now right in front of him.

"Y- y/n? What are you doing here?" Meian's confused expression and mildly amused smile unravelled something within you. The corners of his lips had tilted upward, a glint of pleasant surprise evident in his eyes.

Fiddling with the sleeves of your floral sundress, you settled into the grey armchair across Meian and took a deep breath. "Actually, I- I have something to tell you," Meian watched as you trembled slightly beneath his gaze.

Your lips were rosy from how much you were nibbling on them. Meian had noticed that. Now thinking of taking you into his arms and hugging you tightly, Meian sighed as he removed his spectacles, his attention now set entirely upon you.

You weren't looking at his face. You were nervous, was what he had deduced. You eventually looked up and glanced into his eyes, your pupils sparkling with newfound confidence, cheeks pink as cherry blossoms. "I love you. And I have, since our childhood. I- I actually had a whole speech on how I could have said this to you, but just seeing you again after so long... It made me forget the words I had planned to say." "I know that you probably see me as, well, a younger sister, but I don't see you as an older brother. I see you as the kind boy who had helped me in all my years of life, a confidant of mine, and someone I wish to spend the rest of my life with. I know that you'll be graduating soon, and you may not reciprocate my feelings for you, but I just wanted to tell you first lest I lost my opportunity to do so after you've left uni." Meian took approximately three seconds to digest everything you had just said.

Then he stood up, arms stretched out to bring you into his warm embrace. Now that he had you, he'll never let go of you ever again. That was his conviction, as he gazed lovingly into your eyes before pressing his lips against yours. I love you too.

It's been three years since Meian has gone pro and your final year of university.

Three years of dating with a lifetime's worth of memories shared between the two of you. It had been a wild ride for the both of you, Meian thought in hindsight. Glancing once again at the engagement ring he had gotten for you, he grinned before sliding the tiny box back into his pocket.

Today was the day he had first met you - your birthday.

Glancing back into your childhood home where you and your family members and close friends were conversing excitedly at your small, intimate birthday bash, he made his way back to your side.

All you could visualise was Meian getting onto one knee in his immaculate tux, large hands opening a small velvet box as an intricate diamond ring was revealed to you. Exuberant cheers sounded all around you before Meian opened his mouth to ask,

"Will you marry me, my love?"

Of course, you said yes! to him.

I love you, Meian Shugo, my love and my life.

so i can't say i've ever thought about bbmtc celebrating american holidays specifically (though maybe rio would! and they would definitely join him and be so brave about it when he cooks a... creature...... of some sort......... lmao)

but i absolutely love bbmtc gatherings/traditions in general! i can see them doing christmas separately (rijyu and smic off doing their coupley thing) but all getting together for new year's eve, staying up late and being a bit grumpy when they have to get up early to see the first sunrise and (try to) beat the hatsumode crowds

(rio and nemu feel like they could be morning people to me, maybe they're in charge of getting everyone up in time with thermoses of coffee and soup lol)

love the idea of them all taking a trip together in the snowy season too, either to somewhere warm or to a place where they can ski. like the ew04 designs being bbmtc family ski trip outfits? obsessed with that

samatoki and jyuto would have the LEAST fun lmao, i can imagine samatoki getting cold easily and always climbing into ichiro's jacket (while ichiro is wearing it lol)

and meanwhile jyuto is suffering fogged up glasses all day every day

(but they still insist on going every year because damn it ichiro and rio look good on snowboards)

samatoki i feel would definitely spoil jiro and saburo (and of course, most of all, nemu) with presents even though he would act all tsundere about it with the boys lmao, it's not like he LIKES having two new annoying little brothers or anything (he lies, lyingly)

AND i don't know if you're familiar but there was this hilarious bit in horimiya where a bunch of them got their legs all tangled up and stuck under the kotatsu and i can so see that happening to bbmtc lmaooo

sorry these wound up being more general wintry bbmtc thoughts instead lol but for sure i love the idea of a future where they're all very involved in one another's life, especially in the colder seasons (ﾉ´ヮ`)ﾉ*: ･ﾟ

Oh my Goodness! Jacq is one of my favorites too! If you do not mind, could you do the Blorbo Character Sheet for him? And Cilan too if that is not too much to ask; I am interested to see your opinions on him since he’s 50/50 with the fandom who watched the anime.

Gonna talk about each as I go because I Lov them <3 (and the energies they both give are similar but different so they need their own sections)

Ok, starting with Jacq-

Sweet boy, I LOV- As I’ve jokingly said to friends of mine “I like my men sweet, slightly fruity, and clearly neurodivergent” he fits all three of those boxes so well, and I actually get to bother him ingame, which is a plus.

Literally, he is the main reason I am completing my Pokédex… I am less than 10 Pokémon away.. what have I become?? The things I do for the sweet characters I enjoy 🥺💜

Generally, I love him for most of the same reasons as Jacq, but let’s talk anime specific things about him , since unlike Violet, I can’t play Black to go bother him because no content 😔

I’ll admit, the initial reason I was drawn to him was his VA (I mean look at my icon, of course I fell for the character w/ the same VA as my 1st childhood hyperfixation), but as I kept watching, I LOVED how passionate he was about everything. At the time I was watching, I was still young and had no personal concept of what neurodivergence even was, and to see a character be SO passionate about things in such a way, it excited me- it was nice to see a character who at did something like me, if even just a little-

So FURTHERMORE, it was HEARTBREAKING to see how the damn cast (and the fandom on top of that) treated him!! Let!! Him!! Talk!! About food and trains!! Let my boy hyperfixate in PEACE!!

I remember specifically being heartbroken about how there was a moment where they were around, which generic protag girl was it, I think Dawn (idk I didn’t watch every season, and some I watched when I was very little so I don’t remember), but Cilan was trying SO hard to be helpful/also hyperfixating, and the cast basically went “lmao don’t care” and the next scene cuts to him looking sad and rejected in the corner, like HELLO??

Fun fact/side tangent about another character in that season which is related to this- A lot of people love various versions of Iris because uwu cute dragon trainer girl or something, but the way she treats Cilan in the anime made me HATE her in every media. Also I don’t put Axews in my party ever because they make me think of that tiny annoyance

Anyway, I definitely encountered him at a pivotal point in my life and I WISH he was treated better by the cast and fanbase

literally could not agree with you more about the Steddie tagging stuff, like, I don't hate Eddie or Steve - I really fucking like Steve (despite his goddamn 6 kid fantasy which seems barely in character anyway) and Eddie is fine, a woefully misused, kinda overhyped, character that had lots of potential but that's besides the point - but this whole thing seems to have gotten so out of hand

sure, there is the option to exclude relationship tag and all that jazz, but we really shouldn't have to do that just to read fics about a pairing in their on tag - it's so crazy. it seems like some people just don't understand basic Ao3 usage and how to not clog their fics with irrelevant tags

when I look at Ronance centred fics (not tagged as multi, that classic F/F red goodness), if they have Steddie tagged it's as 'background/mentioned' in line with how central it is to the fic itself, right, but when you see Steddie fics tagged with Ronance not being 'background/mentioned', only to read it and realise, oh shit, this is just Steddie like, 1 sentence of Ronance, it's really annoying

this probably makes very little sense, but i found your page and it resonates so much about something so goddamn frustrating

(also, your fic concepts are badass and I would 100% read them.)

the thing that makes it doubly annoying is that excluding tags doesn't even work. if you exclude ste/ddie, you exclude any good ronance fic that has them tagged in any way. if you use otp:true, the fic count drops from 2k to like 500. 5-fucking-00. no way are 1.5k of the fics in our tag ste/ddie and otherwise, because if so, that just highlights a whole other problem. and, as you said, it also just isn’t a length we should have to go to regardless.

i’m finally going to just come out and say this feels like an issue of mlm shipper entitlement. everyone who’s told me they’ve experienced this in other fandoms has said it was with a mlm ship. as someone who’s only shipped wlw ships (none of which had large competing mlm ships), it’s not an issue i’ve even encountered until now. and while ste/ddie shippers are constantly flooding our ao3 and even tumblr tags, the reverse just isn’t happening. (or it wasn’t; i know some people are doing it on purpose now, and good for them, frankly.)

now, there have been some ste/ddie shippers who have asked how to stop their fics from coming into our tag, and those people have all my uwus, but i can’t tell if the rest (and majority) of them are unaware, obnoxious, doing it on purpose or a combo of the last two. (and considering my meme about this issue has like 2k fucking notes, my money’s on obnoxiously doing it on purpose.)

we asked politely. it almost seemed to get worse. we fought fire with fire. they got a ronancer’s ao3 account suspended. nobody really wants to ask nicely on their fics/posts in case they weaponize the report system against us. it’s such a hot issue, other lgbt+ shippers in this fandom are having to deal with it. like, how entitled do you have to be about your precious never-gonna-happen semi-attractive white boys to be this notoriously annoying? i mean jesus christ. i was completely neutral on ste/ddie, and now just seeing the name irks me. imagine being so infuriating that you make people hate your ship just by association asdfghjkl.

(also thank you. i’ll probably never write them because my writing brain is on holiday, but people are always welcome to take the concepts and run with them lol.)
