need roydick friendship that’s just on the edge of being inappropriate, like there’s a age difference of 3-4 years depending on who’s had a birthday recently and no one really cares about a 17 year old and a 14 year old hanging out, especially when Wally is around as a buffer between the two, but later when Roy is 20 and Dick is 16 still and they’re walking down from from the roof of titans tower smelling like weed and liquor, suddenly people are thinking about stuff like “boundaries” and being a “good influence” like that ship hadn’t sailed a long time ago

I think the funniest thing since I got into dc is the Dick Grayson teenage dirtbag phase and how Jason is the only one to know about it and gets gaslit every day into thinking it wasn’t real. Like he has actual evidence but everyone is like :)) that’s photoshopped our dickie would never. Also like kinda not sometimes though. Idk I love a teenage dirtbag Dick Grayson too and actually that’s my favourite characterisation of him. I like a Dick Grayson who’s had some randos throw at him and been told these are your siblings now. He’s very confused and not sure he’s okay with this. The introduction of someone new is a major life change and he’s not sure he likes it. He’s a cautious cat that’s staring at the kitten from 10ft up in the cat tower. Occasionally, he pap, pap, paps the kitten to see what it will do and because it’s weird. Like he comes around because he really isn’t an asshole and he does feel the human instinct to bond with those in similar situations, but it takes time. Also I like a younger characterisation of him where all these emotions are still new and developing.
Yes, occasionally I like a dick Grayson that sees a baby and then pulls a Bruce wayne, but I love a more flawed Dick too. He’s much more human, much more complicated and someone I love reading more.

My favourite thing from the "Cersei used to swap places with Jaime so she could have sword fighting and politics lessons" is that it implies that Jaime wore a dress and went to Cersei's embroidery and sewing lessons. I have yet to see anyone address this beyond a vague 'yea, Jaime pretended to be Cersei with a dress'. guys. guys. Jaime probably had to attend multiple lessons with a septa and learn how to make pretty stitches. Fuck all your 'Cersei is a great lord and mother but a bad queen' rants, I want to hear your 'Jaime is a good lady and knight but a bad lord' rants. Give me detailed analysis of what lady lessons Jaime would be best in. Working with kids is a gift and a blessing and also a practice of hearing increasingly extremely concerning things and I bet Batman knows exactly how I feel. I bet sometimes he’ll be on patrol with one of the chaotic little buggers and they’ll start spouting off some weird shit like,,,,

for those curious about the roy and dick party era…
yeah poor boys. after a point, it wasn’t about taking it for fun anymore. roy realized he fucked up when dick stopped going to parties and started doing it on his own.
he wasn’t rlly thinking when he took dick on the first few parties, but if he were the mindset would’ve been like “he isn’t as messed up as me. he’s the boy wonder. a few new friends wont hurt” and then of course that turned out to be the worst decision he could’ve made.
they did eventually go to bruce after a close call with an accidental overdose. white christmas by @kachwoww is how i pictured it
