"I'm going to fall!"

"You're fine! I've got you!" Stiles giggled as he helped shuffle you out the door. His hands covering your eyes but managing to almost knock you backwards with each step.

"You never were graceful" you poked. As he jostled you down the last step, he positioned you in the driveway before running away. You can hear him trip over himself but stifle your laughter to not take away from his excitement.

"Ok, now look!" His arms are wide open, presenting you with sight of the old, beat up, baby blue jeep he drove in high-school sitting in your yard, still wearing every dent and scratch from all of its adventures.

"You're kidding! How did you get it back?!"

"Pays to know the Sheriff." He smirked. The jeep was just as old and rickety as you remember. Broken seats, the door latch that used to stick still won't open, and the front headlight still has the crack from when Stiles bumped that pole at the gas station. He makes his way over to your side of the car and begins tugging on the door to pop it open for you, nearly knocking himself over when it finally lets go.

"My hero." You kiss his cheek with a small giggle. You can feel the heat from embarrassment in Stiles’ face on your lips. You climb your way up into the jeep and settle down into the rundown interior. The rough fabric scratches the bottom of your thighs, as the sun from the open topped jeep warms the top of them. Stiles cranks the engine to start it, gears grinding and failing to start. After about the third or fourth try, and a few whispered frustrations, the car finally comes to a start.

"Smooth as butter!" he exclaims as he pats the wheel.

You spend the next hour or so driving around town, back country roads, highways, and everywhere the jeep could take you. Your hand intertwines with Stiles’, resting on his lap; every so often a small kiss pressed sweetly to the back. Through the day both of you relive your high-school days and stories. Time is lost to you and before long you realize you don't know where you have even brought yourselves. The sun has almost set fully and the air is starting to get a bit cooler; the slight sunburn on your skin keeps you warm. As you turn down a road that Stiles swears will bring you right home you see a sign for a drive-in movie up ahead.

Before you could even say anything Stiles was turning into the parking lot. The jeep bouncing you both almost out of the roof with each stone on the gravel driveway. You didn't even know what movie was playing but that didn't stop you both from getting tickets and parking in the most prime location. The field was only occupied by five or six other cars, the rest of the space flooding with fireflies. Stiles jumped out of the jeep, forgetting he was still holding your hand and almost pulling you out with him. He opened the back hatch and pulled out two blankets he must have stashed in there earlier today; or at least you sure hope he did and they weren’t the ones from school. You climbed your way through the seats into the bench in the back, Stiles scaling up the wheel and over the roll cage, settling himself right beside you. He draped one blanket around your shoulders and the other over both of your laps before he wiggled hand back into yours.

"Remember when we all came to the drive in after prom?" You rested your chin on his shoulder, looking up at his freckled face. The butterflies swarming your stomach when his gentle brown eyes locked into yours.

"Yeah, and Scott spent the whole movie trying to impress Allison with his Owen Wilson impression." The both of you laughed at the memories of you as young, dumb, lovestruck kids and the nostalgia of being back at the drive in. Being in the back seat of the jeep topping everything off.

The movie started to play but between the comfort of Stiles' arms wrapped around you mixed with the steadiness of his breathing you didn't make it further than the opening credits. Your soft snores made Stiles chuckle gently, not enough to wake you. He kissed the top of your head and adjusted the blanket to keep you warm; resting his head on the back of the seat he just smiled. Smiled just as big tonight as he did when he held you in that seat back in high-school, and will only smile larger every day he holds you in the future.

Alright I know that literally nobody cares about this but I need to get this out somewhere. I shifted for the first time last night and I am absolutely fucking ecstatic. I have been trying to shift since September 2020, and to finally do it now? It doesn't even feel real tbh. I won't say that I never gave up on shifting, I definitely did multiple times, but I'm so glad that I kept trying.

I didn't even think I was going to shift, it was like 11pm, I could barely keep my eyes open and my affirmations were just so half-assed. I had my bedroom window open (cause yk summer it's hot) and I could hear a motorbike driving around and it was absolutely driving me mental so I just stopped trying to shift and ended up falling asleep at about 11:40pm.

I woke up in my waiting house bedroom, and at first I only stretched and opened my eyes a tiny bit so I thought that I was just so tired that I thought I was somewhere else but really I was still in my bedroom but nope. I fucking freaked the hell out. I didn't panic as much as I thought I would but there was a lot of crying (happy tears though dw)

Basically I just spent some time wandering around my waiting house and grounding myself bcs I'd quite literally left my body and flown (idk wtf else to call it) to another bloody universe.

Eventually I just thought to myself "hmm i wanna go to my teen wolf dr seeing scott would be so great rn" AND I WAS JUST THERE. I was in the freaking school and oh my goddd. Since I don't have a script for that dr (as of rn) and didn't specify anything in my brain I just kinda spawned in the school. I think I was just wearing the uniform and my schoolbag idk if I had a hoodie or anything I was too busy trying not to freak out tbh

So I went to try and find my locker because everyone was gonna go to 2nd period in a few minutes (idk how I knew that I just did??) and Stiles mfing Stilinski came up and started talking to me. We just talked about science and lacrosse then Grace (my best friend who I script in to almost all of my drs) came over as well and we were all just talking about normal stuff. Once everyone had their stuff ready for 2nd period Stiles seen Scott and called him over and I just stood there like "🧍‍♂️ holy fucking shit it's Scott McCall"

We all had Science together next so we walked together and Grace sat at the front near the door, me and Scott sat together at the back, and Stiles sat near us. At some point we went into this random empty classroom so the teacher could blow stuff up (safely ofc but it was still really cool) and some white girl said something like "i wanna make that so i can blow up all the (n-slurs)" so Grace chased her and threatened to use it to blow up her face.

And yea that was basically all that happened. I spent a while more there but nothing really interesting happened it was just a normal school day.

stiles. you glance over at your beloved, your best friend, your boyfriend, your soulmate, and your anchor. he was sitting on the bench his gaze was full of anxiety and nervous energy as he watched the intense game. his heartbeat was erratic like always.

you loved the sound of stiles heartbeat. it seemed to calm you in any situation despite it being erratic than most of the populations.

you’ve became dependent on his heartbeat. to be able to fall asleep without insomnia being a problem. you have to have him there with your limbs tangle in the sheets. your head resting on his chest letting his heartbeat lure you to sleep.

two fingers pressed on his wrist feeling his pulse. you’ve seemed to have a habit of doing that whenever you are out of comfort.

Stiles had been trying for months to get you to open up to him. You had been slowly pulling away from him and your crazy ragtag pack of supernaturals. Which was very concerning with the recent change of you becoming a werewolf. The pack had tried to be there for you and support you. But there was only so much they could do when you wouldn’t let them help.

You hadn’t been at school that day so Stiles had cut class and drove over to your house. He had tried to call you and text you but you weren’t responding which had him extremely worried. He pulled into your driveway and took note of your car. So you were most likely here, unless you had run off into the woods to blow off steam.

“Babe?” He called out as he walked into the house. He knew your father was out of town for work so he wasn’t worried about anyone else being here since it was just you and him. When you didn’t answer he walked into your living room but didn’t find you. He went through the whole house trying to find you but came up empty. You hadn’t even been in your room but your phone was beside your bed so you couldn’t have been very far.

He looked up through your bedroom window to the woods behind your house and had a light bulb moment. His footsteps were quick as he ran out of the house. He came to stand beneath the tree house you and your father built while you were in the fourth grade. It had a few stained glass windows and had been painted a bunch of fun colors by you and your friends. He knew you were inside because he could see a light on through the windows.

He took a deep breath before he started climbing up the ladder. His knuckles rasped against the wood of the door impeded in the floor three times, pause, two times another pause and then one more. The signature knock had been created when you first invited them over to the treehouse for the grand reveal. He waited patiently for a moment but when you still had not come to open the hatch he splayed his hand across it and pushed it open. It smacked against the floor loudly and he winced. If that was loud to him it had to have been headache inducing for you.

“Sugar plum?” He called out again as his head popped up into the small structure. His eyes scanned it quickly. He found you laying on your back staring at the ceiling. You had an old battery powered light that spun around and projected fish along the walls. It had been turned on and you seemed to be in a trance as you stared at it.

He softly closed the door and called for you again. This time you rolled your head to the side and looked at him. His gaze softened as he took you in. You had tears rolling down your cheeks silently. He took in the state of you and his heart broke. Your hair was a mess of leaves and twigs. You had on one of your dads old college hoodies and a pair of shorts, feet bare and riddled with dirt.

“What happened honey?” He came to sit next to you bringing your head into his lap. You let out a low shaky breath squeezing your eyes closed. Your hands formed fists as you tried to calm yourself down.

“I woke up in the woods again.” Your eyes slowly fluttered open looking into the browns of your boyfriends. He started to pick the leaves and twigs out of your hair making a pile beside his leg.

“How far away were you?” This was far from the first time that you had woken up in the woods. In the months that you had been a werewolf it was a regular occurrence. No one had been able to figure out why it was happening. The only reason Scott had wandered into the woods when he was turned was because he was unconsciously trying to answer the call of Peter. But you already had an Alpha and to their knowledge there weren’t anymore around in the area.

“I think like ten or fifteen miles. It took me a while to get back home even while I was running.” a sigh left your lips, eyes studying his features. Stiles wished he knew how to help you. It had been easier with Scott since they also had Derek to help. But Derek had been in the wind for a while and the rest of them were still struggling with their abilities themselves.

You had decent control over them during the day. Only really having issues while you were sleeping. There had been a few nights where you had woken up and your room had been torn to shreds. Then when the full moon came about you had an overwhelming urge to kill. It had been a close call during the last full moon. You had broken chains that held you and been seconds away from tearing into Stiles when Scott had arrived and knocked some sense into you.

“Do you want me to try and call Derek again?” He had tried to call him a few times, desperately needing answers on how to help you. You shook your head weakly, his fingers stilled in their work of freeing the debris from your hair as you spoke.

“Why don’t you just leave me Stiles? You don’t deserve to go through all this.” the freckled boy let out a long breath. This wasn’t the first time you had had this conversation and he was sure it wouldn’t be the last.

“I’m not giving up on you.” He took another breath, taking a moment to look at the walls around you both. There were pictures of all of you strung up with strings and clothes pins. Old drawings from when you were young tapped to the walls. So many memories were held in this wooden box. He would make sure there were many more put into it as well.

“What happened to you wasn’t your fault.” You had been attacked by one of Theo’s little goons and Scott had no choice but to change you. It was the only way to save your life. You had been thankful for him saving your life when you had woken up in the clinic. But you had also been worried, you knew how your friends had struggled when they were turned. You feared what might happen with you.

“I almost killed you last full moon.” Your chest squeezed tightly as the memory flashed through your mind. It had been an out of body experience, you weren’t fully in control of what you were doing but you had an overwhelming urge to rip him to shreds. You thought about that feeling daily and it scared you more than anyone knew.

“But you didn’t and I know you would never hurt me.” He pulled the last leaf from your hair and had now started working out all the knots with a hairbrush you kept in a basket.

“I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I did. I love you so much, I’d never forgive myself.” one of your hands came to run across your face. The fear had been something you never wished to experience again. Losing him would be your final straw, everything would fall apart without him.

“We will get everything figured out I promise you. Hell we even got Liam to calm down eventually so we’ll have you whipped into shape in no time. We just have to remain patient and positive. I promise you that we will figure everything out. I won’t stop until we do. I love you more than I can put into words.” He set the brush down and swiped a few stray tears off your cheeks. You trusted his words, knowing he would never give up on you.

“Kiss me.” You whispered out to him desperate to feel his lips against your own. A distraction from the thoughts barreling through your head. He did just that, leaning down and kissing you, your noses brushing each other's chins. You felt his love everyday, in the way he constantly checked up on you. The way he would buy you your favorite snacks or the way he shared his curly fries with you. You especially felt his love for you in this kiss. After a moment he pulled back and gave you a goofy smile.

“I guess I’m your Spiderman and you're my Mary Jane.” your lips broke into a wide smile at his words. You knew in that silly little moment sitting in your silly little tree house with your silly little light spinning around you; that you would never have to worry about anything as long as Stiles Stilinski was in your life.
