I'm in desperate need for pencil grips and I have no luck, I bought these:
and they slide right off number 2 pencils. Every product I have looked at has the same problem. Does anyone know a brand of pencil grips that actually fits number 2 pencils? Preferably not the super blocky kind.

So! I have been seeing a ton of grimoire ideas and thought I’d stuff them all together. A lot of ideas are from @manifestationsofasort, @banebite, and @pigeonflavouredcake. Check them out! They have a ton of cool stuff there.
What Do I Use For My Grimoire?
You can use anything for a grimoire! For a physical one, journals, binders, and notebooks are good. For digital ones, Notion, Tumblr, Docs, and even just your file folder are great.
Daily affirmations: Start your day by setting an intention or saying a positive affirmation that aligns with your goals and values. This can help you stay focused and grounded throughout the day.
Gratitude journaling: Take a few minutes each day to write down three things you're grateful for. This can help cultivate a sense of appreciation and abundance in your life.
Mindful breathing: Take a few deep, mindful breaths throughout the day to center yourself and release any tension or stress.
Moon-watching: Take a few moments to observe the moon each night, noting its phase and any changes in its appearance. You can also keep a moon journal to track your observations and feelings.
Elemental meditation: Spend a few minutes each day meditating on the elements (earth, air, fire, water) and their associated qualities. You can visualize yourself surrounded by each element and focus on how they make you feel.
Herbal tea rituals: Incorporate herbal teas into your daily routine and take a few moments to mindfully prepare and enjoy them. You can also research the magical properties of different herbs and choose teas based on their correspondences.
Candle magic: Light a candle and set an intention for the day or visualize your goals and desires coming to fruition. You can also choose candles based on their color correspondences for added potency.
Sigil drawing: Create a simple sigil to represent your intention or desire, and draw it on your skin, clothing, or a piece of paper. You can also charge your sigil with energy by visualizing it glowing with light or energy.
Crystal charging: Choose a crystal that aligns with your intention or desired outcome and hold it in your hand or place it on your body. Visualize the crystal absorbing your energy and amplifying your intentions.
Nature appreciation: Take a few moments each day to appreciate the natural world around you, whether it's the beauty of a flower or the majesty of a tree. You can also connect with nature by taking a walk, gardening, or spending time in a park or forest.
Remember, these are just a few examples of simple, low-energy witchcraft practices you can incorporate into your daily routine. The most important thing is to find practices that resonate with you and align with your personal values and beliefs.
It's important to remember that everyone's energy levels and circumstances are different, and there may be times when you simply don't have the energy or motivation to practice witchcraft. This doesn't make you any less of a witch, or any less magickal. It's okay to take a break and focus on self-care and nurturing yourself. Remember, your magick is always within you, and you can connect with it in your own way, on your own time. Be kind and gentle with yourself, and trust that the universe will support you wherever you are on your journey.
a CALL to all the Starseeds, multiverse & astral travelers, light & shadow workers, empaths, multidimensional beings, Mystics & Esoterics and whatnot...
This is a hypnotic artwork of mine that has a collective purpose in which oneness shall make a positive impact universally.
You can use this for your practices on similar collective intentions so we all can gather up and connect.
do i desperately want to meditate in the woods, connect with the gods and the spirits of the land and become known as that weird person living in a small cottage somewhere in the forest?
yes.
am i also too depressed to leave the house even just for a 10 minute walk?
Just so you all know, you don’t have to use special candles in order to practice witchcraft. I use candles I get at Bath and Body Works quite often, like a rose one I have. I light it when I take self-love baths and it’s super powerful. Even if it’s the only thing you have, it’ll work!
As a broom-closet witch I have had to think outside the box to practice things, and this is just one of the things I’ve done.
Another example of something unsuspecting would be a moon water and salt spray. You don’t even have to add the salt if you don’t want to! This is a great idea because it’s powerful, and if someone sees it and asks what it is, you can tell them it’s just water to wake you up, water to mist your plants, water to dust with…etc. Of course that’s only if you don’t add salt.
Either way this will be a great cleansing and protection spray for your room. If you don’t add salt you can spray it on yourself as well. I am always using mine and will spray it more at my door and window, and it helps so much!
I hope this helped! It’s great for Spoonie witches too! I love that when I’m not able to leave my bed or room, I can still spray it.
I'm in such a bad flare-up right now. I came up with a list of things to try for anyone else who is struggling with chronic pain.
Heat Therapy
Dilate Blood Vessels, Increase Circulation
If needed, sit on the floor of the shower. Or just give the affected limbs a soak. Alternatively, use a heating pad or bottle. You don't even have to wash up. If you soak your body, the heat will dilate your blood vessels, causing more fluid to pass through and relieve stiffness and pain related to circulation issues.
Cold Therapy
Numb Area, Reduce Inflammation + Swelling
Use a bag of ice on the affected limb, take a cold bath or shower, or soak in cold water. It numbs the affected area and constricts blood vessels, which is why it decreases swelling and inflammation.
Compression
Reduces swelling, fluid buildup, and POTS symptoms
Reduces excess fluid in the area being compressed, which also reduces swelling and improves range of movement. This mechanism can also help reduce stiffness.
If you struggle with POTS, it helps push blood back to your heart if you use compression socks, potentially lessening symptoms such as dizziness and fatigue.
Exercise
Reduces stiffness, pain over time
Low impact exercises specifically have been shown to decrease pain over the long term. Short-term, it can increase pain. To reduce the chances of additional pain, stretch properly and engage in light forms of exercise such as walking, swimming, or biking. If this feels too strenuous, you can skip the exercise and just stretch to reduce stiffness.
