Remember that every time you use your mobility aid in public, there is very likely another person there who is too apprehensive to use their own mobility aid and feels braver from seeing you use yours.
I love when you get to a point in your friendships where you don’t have to talk the whole time when you are hanging out. The silence isn’t awkward and it’s enough just being in their company.

Stepping out of my comfort zone with this one. It takes a lot for me to put my voice out like this, nevertheless, I had the urge to just speak it out. And I really do think it’s important to share. My definition, so to speak, of “Colour of October” is “a culmination of expression.” And I definitely want to make sure I express some of the hard bits sometimes because they’re what make up parts of my experience.
