The crunch of autumn leaves under your feet, the chill of early morning air thick in your lungs. Cold steel, stone, hands around your wrists, dragging you deeper into the thicket, thorns and brambles tugging on your jeans. Smeared lipstick and cattish laughter that rings in your head. Absinthe that bleeds out of the bottle and into the glass. Chalk and sage smoke, mingling with cigarette smoke and the feeling of nails and staples drilling you to the floor. Can't move, can't see, only feel white hot ice fill your veins like an indescribable burn. Empty black memories and thoughts, like a deep dark fog filling your very being. Blissful, empty ignorance.

Fumikado nervously looked at Iyozane.

"Ah... Fumikado-san, what's wrong? You've been giving me that look all day," Iyozane airily asks, as if Fumikado hasn't just watched their arm turn translucent for just a moment.

Iyozane has been having episodes like this for... probably a while, not eating as much as humans normally do (They were sure, even if they were a big eater as a human!), complaining about pain and becoming dizzy from split vision, and now this...

They weren't even aware of it, they doubted, and yet Fumikado didn't have the heart to say anything. Iyozane is smiling warmly now, and for some reason the thought of wiping it off their face made their chest pang out in an agony of its own.

So Fumikado just put out one of their typical wide grins and said, "Nothing at all! Now come on, let's go prove that I'm the New Emperor of Mugenri once and for all!"

So I was hanging out with some friends last night, and for whatever reason, we got onto the subject of whether or not we sleep with the bedroom door closed. Apparently it's safer in case of fires? But it turns out that most of my friends keep their bedroom door closed because of concerns about The Killer, aka, a person breaking into their house at night with the express intention of murdering them.

For the purposes of this poll, "I share a house/apartment" is for situations where you have your own bedroom, but there are other people living with you; "I share a bedroom" is for situations where there is another person sleeping in the same room.

Dancing wasn’t something that Cleo would think about a lot. In these death games, you’d be thinking about how good people are at PvP or how likely they are to stab you in the back. You can imagine their confusion when Grian asks her to do the “zombie dance,” followed by Etho asking them how they don’t know it.

Raising his arms and slouching, he starts trudging towards her while making zombie noises. She mirrors awkwardly. This doesn’t seem like a dance…

… but they hear Etho and Grian’s laughter. It made them laugh. She can’t help but laugh, too.
