Here you go!!
Silver in a pretty dress, that ISN'T her usual one!
Some of you may already know this, but I LOVE drawing frilly and poofy dresses! ESPECIALLY when they're moving!!!
I love the ways the folds rearrange themselves!!!
This first dress wasn't really inspired by some barbie doll dress, just a random redesign I guess??
I feel like the lineart isn't that visible though, but I'm too lazy to fix it lol
Aight, up next is a request!!
Tumblr media
This dress was requested by @tea-132 and I thank them!!!
It's REALLY pretty and I would've missed out on it otherwise aqnd it was extremely fun to draw so thanks a lot :DD
here it is!!
Tumblr media
And yes, before you ask, she will come in more poses I just need to figure them out and nothing seemed more fitting for this dress than the 'joyful-walk-with-a-new-skirt' pose!!
I will say that I totally put no effort into the design on the outer lace and ibis Paint was a giant help with the stars (I love you ibis, marry me <333)
I'm happy with how it turned out and be prepared to expect more dresses soon
I will draw them until y'all are drowning in them
MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

drew barrymore's renaissance-style ball costume from the film 'ever after: a cinderella story', (1998).
"It was a tough film to make – as it was filmed in the Dordogne with little access to fabric shops! We made as much as we could in London but still had to set up a studio in France with skilled seamstresses on site. I was given a free reign in terms of design. The costumes were loosely based on early 1500s silhouettes, but I wanted them to be magical rather than slavishly realistic - with more of a fairytale feel. The idea for the wings came from the script. Leonardo da Vinci was Danielle’s sort of fairy godmother and I based them on Leonardo’s drawings of his ideas for man made flight. The wings were made in London by Naomi Critcher had to flown over by plane with their own seat next to me. There were only two pairs made. This pair was intentionally distressed to reflect the character’s dismay as she sits forlorn in a doorway being pelted with rain, nursing her broken heart." - jenny beavan, costume designer

Hi! How are you doing?
May I please request fem!reader having a 'Cinderella fairytale moment' with the first years?
You know like NRC is hosting a ball and they're waiting for her and then she enters wearing a ballgown and all eyes are on her because she looks so beautiful? If that's alright?
Magic Moment
W/ the First Years! + PLATONIC! Trein (I had to for this ask)
I’m doing wonderfully, thank you for asking! This ask is super cute and I’d happily answer more like it!
CW/ Fem! Reader, fluff, shyness, nervousness, average Sebek behavior (he’s my favorite), MR. TREIN BEING A BETTER ADOPTIVE FATHER THAN CROWLEY, I tried to leave the dress details vague, but the general ballgown shape is mentioned
Tumblr media
The bustling sounds of the Ball were ringing through your ears as you slowly walked through the hall into the ballroom, your wide ball flowing behind you. Grim had already shot past and went straight for the buffet, which was expected but did nothing to stop your nervous mind.
Suddenly you felt a comforting presence beside you, and you turned around to see Professor Trein, wearing robes with a bit more formal flair.
"I can assure you that they won’t bite; those boys are rambunctious, but they have a certain level of decorum."
He had a rather comforting smile on his face, which you mirrored as a surge of confidence went through you.
"Thank you, Professor."
He nodded slightly as you turned on a heel, holding your head up higher with a small smile on your face.
The great doors opened with a small creek as you stepped onto the main staircase, the bustling crowd flitting throughout the ballroom as you stood at the helm of the stairs.
All eyes were on you, and the crowd seemed to shush a little as you glided down the stairs. The flowing dress made you seem like you were floating. As you stepped onto the main floor, the sensations hit slowly; the sweet smells of the chocolate fountain and the gentle viola and cello melodies set a soft mood.
However, all of the decadence was put to shame when you saw a familiar face waiting for you.
Ace
He had to cram himself through a crowd of eager boys, all wanting what he did, the first dance of the night with you
Ace’s usual smug grin feels a little shaky, just like his hands as they grasp onto yours
“You wouldn’t mind if we danced, would you?”
His voice is almost nervous as he takes in the sight of you, your beauty and how lucky he is to call himself yours
he guides you to the center of the ballroom, as the lights dim slightly and the music becomes romantically fast paced and delicate
His hands clasp at your waist gently as the two of you begin stepping in matching order
Your gorgeous dress flutters on the ballroom floor as Ace twirls you to the music
After the two of you danced till your legs were sore, you wander off by the gardens
“I feel like I’ve been a little quiet tonight, don’t get too used to it, okay?”
Ace’s usual quips become a little gentler, you can tell he really wants you to have a nice time, and also because he wants you to think well enough of him to spend more time together
He’ll take any chance he gets to prove himself to you
The night ends with a kiss on the cheek as his face turns redder than his hair
Deuce
Through the bustling ballroom, Deuce used all his track skills to get to you as fast as he could before someone else could woo you away
“P-please let me have a dance with you!”
You guide him to the dance floor as the music gets slow and soft, his hands still against your waist as his heart beats normally again
This sweet boy is trying desperately to remain respectful in front of a lady, especially one as special as you
as the two of you twirl through the night, his gaze never left yours, you felt yourself fall deeper in love with the boy in front of you
Deuce guides you off to get some light refreshments when the two of you seem tuckered out, and the two of you exchange pleasantries as the party dissipated
He walked you home after the Ball, dutifully watching for anything that could cause you harm until you stepped onto the Ramshackle grounds
You kiss him on the cheek and wish him farewell, as you walk back into your dorm to a chorus of cheering ghosts
"....A kiss...? Wow...."
Epel
Epel’s eyes met yours as fireworks seemingly erupt in his head
he rushed (undignified in Vil’s opinion) to you and softly grasped your gloved hand between two of his own
He presses a kiss to your glove as he confidently raises his voice
“Can I dance with you? I’ll be a good partner!”
(You swear you can see steam come out of Vil's ears at his abrupt question)
as Epel dances with you, he makes sure to keep the mood light and fun with a couple jokes and jabs at the professors expenses
his movements are quick as he guides the dance, but he makes sure to keep at a similar tempo to you so you don't look strange
the two of you are definitely the 'it couple' at the Ball, with your looks and attire
Epel gets bored of the attention quite quickly, and the two of you end the night somewhere quieter, like the calm balcony of the ballroom
he tells you stories of the perilous prep Vil and Rook made him do before the dancing, how hard it was to learn the old style of waltz they preferred
"It was horrible, but I guess it was all worth it, seeing how much fun you had and everything..."
The two of you part ways when Vil sweeps him away for pictures, but he promises to dance with you again when the chance arrives
Jack
His breath hitches in his throat as he sees you, his pace quick as he walks up to you with a mildly dazed expression
“Um, could I dance with you? If it’s alright with you of course…”
As the music softens, Jack becomes painfully aware of how soft and beautiful you are, and decides to treat you like a piece of glass
his hands hover, and his red face is tucked into your shoulder as the slow dancing begins
the closeness between the two of you is tender and kind, and he eventually loosens up a little as the pace of the cello gets steadily quicker
Jack's radiant smile as the two of you dance together is so perfectly domestic, you begin to ignore everything else
the two of you focus on only one another, and he loves hearing your soft laughter as he spins you in the air
since our wolf is one strong boy, he'll adore spinning and lifting you in your long luscious ballgown
"Hold on to my shoulders, I'll lift you up."
the night ends with him escorting you back to Ramshackle, his hand in yours as he grows more comfortable with physical affection
however, when you press a kiss to his cheek, Jack flusters again and rubs the back of his neck
"You look really beautiful tonight, and I had a really nice time dancing with you."
Sebek
A startled gasp catches in Sebek’s throat as Lilia pushes him to the front of the crowd and presents him to you
“Human! May I please have the honor of being your first dance partner tonight?”
the music is a lively tempo, Sebek looks straight ahead with perfect posture, dancing as if it means life or death
His serious demeanor is a little funny at first, but breaks pretty easily when he realizes how romantic the moment is
He calms down and acts more down to earth for the rest of the night, something that is truly a rare sight
His grip on your waist loosens a little bit as he hears the music slowly descend into a lower volume
Sebek sighs a little as he checks the time, knowing that the two of you have been dancing for hours
he strongly suggests that the two of you spend some time away from the commotion of the party (ironic coming from the loudest thing in the room)
You two spend an hour walking through the ornate halls of the ballroom, with him excitedly boasting about how the ballrooms in the Valley of Thorns far exceed the one you're in
"Perhaps, I may accompany you to the next big occasion..."
Sebek walks you back home slowly, trying to preserve some sweet time with you until you must part for the night
As you step onto the stairs to bid him farewell, you press a kiss onto his cheek, and he blushes a stark red; his mouth opens to speak but no words come out
for once in his life, Sebek is completely speechless.
☁️☾☁️☾☁️☾☁️☾☁️☾☁️☾☁️☾☁️☾
The cool night air that filters through the cracked windows of Ramshackle house serves to calm you down after a long night of dancing and socializing. You laid on the dusty couch, still clad in your oversized ballgown, sparkling in the dim candlelight.
Grim was asleep beside you, his warm fluffy fur pressed against your arm, and his gentle purring made your painted eyelids flutter with tiredness.
You thought back at the unforgettable night, dancing in his arms was a memory to cherish forever.
As you shook your arm to try and remove Grim, you realized he wouldn't budge, succumbing to your fate, you smiled and closed your eyes.
A wonderful ending to a wonderful night.
a.n/ Prof. Trein would be such a great father figure.

Live, Laugh… Lizard? // Sebastian Sallow x MC
Tumblr media
What happens when a fun outing turns into a slightly frightening experience for MC, and ultimately leads to Sebastian confessing his feelings?
Warnings: lots of flirting, teenagers touching each other (so slight NSFW proceed with caution), kissing, brief mentions of masterbation and sex, etc
Word count: 4k
This was another collaboration with @darch7995 and you can find her audio version of the story here!
“Where exactly are we going again?” She asked skeptically as they strolled through the front gates and started following the path towards Hogsmeade. It had taken much persuading on his end to get her to abandon their “study den” as she had taken to calling it. Exams were swiftly approaching, as was the end of their 6th year, and she had taken on the full load of all the stress for the bulk of their friend group. Sensing her frustration and worry, Sebastian decided that getting her away from the castle for a bit would be helpful to her mental state. She took such great care of everyone else, and he had secretly started to take care of her as much as he could…
“Guess you’ll have to wait and see,” he said with a wiggle of his eyebrows.
As they approached the forbidden forest she looked to the back of his head, almost anticipating that he’d take the left and head inside. Over the last year he had spent much time lugging her out of the castle for various adventures across the highlands, the forbidden forest becoming a frequent spot of theirs due to the easy access to butterbear after their misguided adventures.
Instead he kept walking and she chuckled, causing him to turn back around and raise an eyebrow in question.
“I just assumed you were dragging me out to the forbidden forest to my untimely death as you usually do” she teased and he rolled his eyes.
“Perhaps another time but hopefully there will be no danger on the agenda today” he exclaimed as they moved past the ruins near the path on the way to the small town near the school.
“Hopefully?” She asked, drawing attention to his dramatism around the word during his previous statement and she caught his sly wayward grin as he glanced at her out of the corner of his eyes.
“I never can count danger completely out of the realm of possibility with you, now can I?” He teased and she rolled her eyes
“I don’t think that’s fair” she retorted and he laughed. Not a chuckle either but real, head back, full belly laugh.
“Even the first outing we ever went on together started with a troll attack and ended with you almost getting us into a bar fight” he illustrated his point and she rolled her eyes.
“I’ll have you know the troll wasn’t my fault” she said annoyed and he once again laugh.
“Actually, it was, if you recall. We heard Ranrok say as much in that alley before he sent that arse in a top hat after us” he reminded her and she shrugged.
She didn’t speak, realizing he was right, but refusing to allow him that pleasure. Know it all.
“Kneazle got your tongue darling?” He asked and she rolled her eyes once more.
“Just remembering how that troll knocked you on your arse. At least when I get us into trouble, I always get us out of it.” She said,
“Excuse me for getting knocked down by a troll, not all of us are fortunate enough to have ancient magical powers. Some of us have to rely on pure skill” he retorted
“And it takes skill to get flattened by a troll?” She said with a chuckle and he gave her an indignant glance before gesturing off the path, heading to the black lake.
“It’s going to be dark relatively soon you know” she asked rhetorically.
“Exactly, relatively. I will have you back before dark I promise… wouldn’t want Cinderella out past midnight” he teased and she rolled her eyes, stepping ahead of the path where he was gesturing. Sebastian let out a joyful noise as he raised his fist in success before following behind her.
They walked in silence for a moment, as he tried to remember the way he had taken before and she followed.
“You know the lake is accessible from the school grounds? Do we have to go all the way out here?” She asked and he shrugged pointing down to a root so she would avoid tripping.
“Gone silent on me all of a sudden?” She asked and he smiled, refusing to answer as they walked.
“Perhaps you really do intend to kill me out here” she teased and he let out a small puff of air that resembled a laugh before continuing to be quiet.
“What were we talking about before?” he asked and she kicked a small stone under her shoe.
“The way I saved your life from that troll?” She asked with a chuckle.
“I got in a few good hits…” he reminded her and she took her turn to laugh.
“Well we can’t all be fearless like you are MC” he said somewhat sarcastically, however still laced with humor.
“I'm not fearless” she said.
“I have yet to see a single thing that terrifies you.” He explained and she shrugged.
“You exaggerate, dramatic as always”
“I dare say you’re being modest” he teased.
“If I didn’t know any better Sallow, I’d say you’re eager to get me alone” she teased as they got further and further away from Hogsmeade and the school finding themselves in a desolate area.
“And if I was?” He asked with a grin.
“I’d say it’s adorable” she replied, poking his nose and he scrunched up his face as he swatted away her hand.
“Oi shove off” he warned in reference to her playful condescending tone as he scowled at her hand. Of all the things she could call him, it just had to be adorable.
“I don’t think I will,” she said.
“And why not? I did ask politely” he tried to reason but she shook her head with a chuckle
“Because, messing with you is too much fun” she said and gave his shoulder a gently nudge with her own.
“I disagree” he told her as his cheeks grew red, returning the nudge with his own.
“Feel free to. Doesn’t make me any less correct” she said smugly and he scoffed as they finally made it to where he was taking her.
“I’m going to firmly continue to disagree… Well, what do you think?” He gestured to the spot he’d found. It sat across the lake from the school, and next to the beach under a tree she could see a small blanket already stretched out.
Reaching a hand up he helped her climb over the rocks and into the little area that was mostly hidden.
“Wow, that's perfect. With the way the shore lies and the rocks you almost can’t see back here like a little cave yet… the view of the castle is brilliant… well done my adorable little Sallow” she said with a shit eating grin.
“I would like to remind you that I am not only much larger than you are, but I am definitely not the adorable one” he responded slyly.
“Who is the adorable one then?” She asked
“I’d say you, given your adorably small stature but having seen you calmly fight spiders, inferi, goblins, trolls and much more I’d say your death wish seems more frightening than adorable”
“I’d take offense but unfortunately I have to agree, you’ll find very little makes me tick Sebastian… except for Slytherin boys who drag me out when I should be Stu- MERLIN GET IT OFF ME GET IT OFF ME SEBASTIAN!” She screamed so loud it would’ve raised uncle Solomon from the grave and he nearly jumped from his skin at how loud she got. Looking down at what she was pointing to he couldn’t help but laugh.
“A little lizard? You’re joking.”
The girl shook her head violently as she continued to plead with him to remove the small green lizard from where it had crawled on her leg. It was daring to go underneath her skirt from where she had slid back and Sebastian would have to be careful when removing it to ensure he didn’t go under the hem of her plaid skirt, else she’d have to deal with it on her own. However he decided to enjoy the moment of her being scared for just a bit longer…
“Sebastian please!” She begged.
“Hmm I thought it was “adorable sallow…. I don’t think that he would be very helpful at all, do you?” He teased and she continued to shake her head, staring at the small lizard on her stocking as she tried to even her breathing.
“Plea-“
“It’s just a little lizard and I thought that nothing gets under your skin… I’m sure you can handle this on your own” he teased as he chuckled and she began to whimper.
For a moment he felt triumphant. He finally had her. He finally knew what scared her. And it was a stupid lizard of all things. Not spiders or snakes like most girls. Not large scary creatures like dragons. But small little newts. He couldn’t help but laugh at her plight as she continued to let out small fearful noises.
It wasn’t until her tone shifted and she looked at him with the largest tears welled in her eyes and she begged him with the gentlest of voices that he felt bad.
“Please Bash…” she said through tears and immediately his stomach sank. He felt like a dick. Reaching over he went to move the little lizard off her leg when it did what he had hoped it wouldn’t.
The little guy slipped under her skirt and she immediately started to cry harder as he looked at her nervously.
“I - I can’t….” He tried to explain and she shook her head as she kept attempting to calm herself to no avail.
“I don’t care, just get it OFF!” she begged, leaning back and gesturing to her skirt as he scooted closer.
“Stop moving so much, he’ll keep going north and I don’t intend on plucking a little lizard out of your under garments. So please, relax” he tried to be gentle with his tone, softening it.
“Easy for you to say when it’s not up your skirt” she said through tears as she stopped squirming.
“I can’t say I often wear skirts MC… unless of course kilts count as skirts in your eyes, then on occasion I can see how it could be an occupational hazard of skirt wearing” he tried to use humor to calm her, the effect somewhat working but the fear in her eyes lingered.
She didn’t respond at first but then the creature moved again, and feeling it against her thigh she cried out, taking his advice and not moving as she encouraged him to hurry up.
“Alright, where exactly is it? I don’t want to touch more than I have to… it feels wrong but I know you are scared. Just give me the general area so I’m not going under blind” he told her and she pointed to the area where she last felt it move over the top of her skirt and he let out a frustrated noise. Of course the little guy had perched himself as close to her as possible, making this much more awkward for Sebastian who hadn’t even held hands with a girl before besides Anne.
Getting permission to go up ones skirt - one he thought to be quite pretty, funny and all around incredible no less - was already overwhelming enough.
Moving forward he placed a hand on her knee and she tried not to jump too much at the contact but couldn’t help it. Luckily the unwelcome guest in her skirt didn’t move when she got startled at Sebastian’s movement .
“Alright, you are positive you don’t mind me…” he trailed off, once again turning bright red and she nodded.
“No I don’t care please Seb” she continued to gently cry and he tried to remind himself this was not about him coping a feel under her skirt, he was trying to help her as she was terrified. Putting aside his own concerns and fears, he slowly brought his hand up, using the butt of his palm to move across her thigh until he located the pest.
It had nestled itself right across the top of her thigh, not too far from an area Sebastian would never dare to go without permission, however right when he got close to grabbing it, the lizard decided he had plans to stay in the warm cavern that way her skirt a bit longer.
Sebastian wanted to cry as well when the lizard crawled its way into the gap between her thighs and stayed right over her clothed core.
Was it hot?
Sebastian raised his hand not under her skirt to his forehead as he looked at her with wide eyes. She returned them, and not because she knew he’d have to touch her clothes womanhood but because her greatest fear was already doing the same.
“Seb-“ she went to plead for him to hurry and he sucked in a breath.
“I know, hold still” he told her, voice cracking as he once again located the pest, his long fingers reaching around and finally grabbing the lizard and starting to remove his hand from her skirt.
“Did you…” she asked gently and apprehensively, still feeling remnants of the movement but chalking them up to just ghostly feelings of little lizard feet.
“Yeah I have him right her-“ Sebastian said, removing his hand from her skirt when she started screaming once more.
Sebastian lifted the little creature to see that it had shed its tail in the fright of it all, and that it likely was still somewhere in her skirt as she started wailing and incoherently speaking. The only words he could make out were “I’m going to be sick”.
Tossing the lizard behind them he panicked as she cried. He had on occasion seen broken off tails but he didn’t realize it was because they shed when frightened.
Without permission he once again reached up her skirt, feeling blindly to find the remaining piece of the creature as she kept crying. Tracing his large and warm hand over her thighs, he came up short, eventually he moved closer to her center and right in that dip between thigh and a place he’d love to have explored under other circumstances he found the small scaly nub, removing it with a triumphant grin.
Removing the broken off tail and throwing it in the same direction he had tossed the little reptile. Despite being lizard free she continued to cry and shake and he hated watching a girl who bravely faced down an entire army of goblins wielding wizard magic be reduced to tears over something so small.
“Shh it’s alright I got rid of it, you’re lizard free” he tried to reason with the girl and she kept crying.
“But it was on me!” she said through tears and he used the hand that hadn’t retried the gecko to push them off her face.
“I know, I know. He’s halfway to Hogsmeade for making you cry I promise.” He assured her and explained how he threw it far.
“Sebastian it was up my skirt” she said, slightly calming but still not completely relaxed yet. The thought of it all making her once again shiver and he carefully pulled the girl into him. He never imagined his first time touching a girl - well sort of - would end with tears, yet here he was.
“So was I” he told her with a chuckle.
“Was that your plan all along? Feel me up in the private spot you found by the lake?” She asked, taking his conversational nod to finally calm down. He laughed at her accusation.
“I can assure you I didn’t bring you here to have my hand up your skirt. It wasn’t my plan, maybe a wild fantasy, but not my intent.” he told her, once again growing pink.
“A wild fantasy?” She asked with a gasp.
“Yeah…?” He asked her, not sure what she was getting at.
“You, you- fantasize about… touching me?” She asked cautiously and he sucked in a breath.
“I do. Not necessarily in that way all the time… more like, holding your hand on the way to class… or holding your face in my hands… feeling you hug me… things like that” he tried to explain as he awkwardly lifted a hand to his hair.
“What else do you… think about doing?” She asked as she looked at him with an expression he couldn’t quite place.
“Uh… I’m not really sure I feel comfortable-“ he tried to explain and she scooted closer, carefully collecting his hand in hers as she stared up at him hopefully.
“Please…” she asked him quietly and he sighed, giving her hand a small squeeze as he felt how delicate her palm was aligned with his.
“I… think about kissing you… I wonder how soft your skin is… or how warm you would feel… and how sweet your perfume smells…” he explained awkwardly, his words being calculative as he tried to tell her how he felt.
She moved until her thigh was pressed against his, her body turned toward his own and she let go of his hand to instead grab his wrist as she looked to him with less than confident eyes.
“You can… touch me if you’d like… over clothes that is…” she explained placing his hand on her shoulder so he could decide his own fate.
Sebastian weighed the options and figured reaching down for her breast would be too vulgar but touching her thin wrist and hands wouldn’t cut it. So he settled on the middle ground and gently reached up to cup the back of her neck as his fingers traced the skin under her hair.
He was delighted as she shivered so he brought his other hand up to her face, using his thumbs to push the remaining wetness from her tears off her face. Unlike before when he did it solely with the intent to comfort her, he took his time, tracing her skin and finding it to be as soft as rose petals.
He moved closer, using his hand to cup the side of her cheek and by some miracle of Merlin he found humor to relieve how nervous he felt.
“That doesn’t seem fair as I’ve already been under your skirt…” he teased and she flushed at this.
“That was different…” she explained gently as she awkwardly looked down to her hands which shed laced together in her lap.
“You can touch me too, you know… unless you don’t want to… I understand if you’ve never really found yourself wanting to” he explained and she shook her head at the later part.
“I have…” she hoped he wouldn’t pry but assuming Sebastian would leave a question unanswered was like asking for the sun not to rise.
“What ways have you thought about… touching me…?” He asked her as he trailed his hand down from her cheek to the side of her arm until he collected her hand in his own, waiting to figure out where exactly the girl had wanted to touch him in the past.
“Your um” the girl cleared her throat before resuming, “your hair looks really soft… and I’ve always wondered how thick it is…” she explained and he gently lifted her hand close to his hair giving her permission.
“My hair is always a mess and to be frank I hate dealing with it, so I hardly see the appeal, however… if there’s something you like about it… feel free to explore all you’d like…” he told her, and she gently sunk her fingers into the dark waves that extended over his ear. Feeling the silky texture of his messy hair, she brought her fingers in and out of the sea of chocolate as his eyes fluttered shut.
His hair was much thicker than she’d realized and she had imagined for a while now that it would be, given how it always grew out so largely and it always stayed so high despite not being super long and not being as fine as Ominis’s - who she knew used some form of paste to keep his up higher - while Sebastian’s had enough to stay on its own. Now with her fingers sunk in the dark tresses she could see why. His hair was so, incredibly thick and he had so much of it, it was a miracle how he managed to look even decently put together.
At the feeling of her fingernails on his scalp he had shut his eyes, enjoying the way she played with his dark hair. Something about the way she moved through it, almost like one would pet a dog, calmed him more than he had expected.
Eventually she pulled away and he looked at her with a gentle smile.
“That felt nice” he admitted with a small laugh, reaching up to fix the appearance of his hair where she’d been touching it.
“Yeah it did…” she gave him an encouraging smile and he moved more level with her face as he one again lifted her hand.
“Don’t tell me that’s the only place you've wanted to touch me..” he said with a newly gained sense of confidence given she’d complimented his hair - a feature he so often resented.
“It’s not but…”
“Where else” he slightly demanded and she sighed.
“Your… arms…” she explained and he raised an eyebrow.
“My arms?” He asked.
“I can’t ever tell through clothes how uh… strong you are… and I’ve always wondered how firm they would be if I saw them…” she explained hoping to convey she was curious as to his muscle mass and he smiled at her admission.
“So now we are wanting to see as well as touch…” he teased and she shook her head.
“I -“
“Yes you did… but if you’re so curious go ahead. I can even flex a little if you’d like” he teased and she went to reach out and grab his arm through his robes when she stopped.
“Can you uh…” she trailed off.
“What is it?” He asked her gently.
“Can you take your robe off? Just so I can uh… feel it better?” She asked awkwardly and he smiled.
“Absolutely. I can also take off my blazer if you’d like as well… or is that too much?” He asked as he slipped the cloak off his body and gestured to the buttons on his blazer.
“I think that would be okay… if you did…. You’d still have your shirt on…” she argued and he unbuttoned the blazer, sliding out of it as he remained only in his button down and waist coat, turning to her.
“You can go ahead if you’d like” he encouraged her as he placed her hand on his shoulder.
When her palm rested upon his shoulder, she realized as he sat there how wide he was. It was always difficult to tell in their school uniforms but Sebastian was quite wide. His shoulders were much larger than she’d have predicted.
Sliding her palm down to cup his bicep, she could feel once again how much larger he was than she would’ve guessed. Crossed wands, helping on the farm and various activities he did must have bulked him up.
She almost flinched when she felt his muscle tense and the small smirk on his face says he saw her shock as he flexed the muscle under her hand.
Without permission she decided to feel how strong he might be in other areas as she started feeling over the plains of his chest. He was so positively warm and strong and under his clothes the woody smell he always had was more intense.
“You’re… bigger than I imagined you would be” she explained with a small smile.
“You thought I’d be scrawny? You see the way I eat, I thought you would think I would be pudgy” he teased as she started to retract her hand, and he stopped her, just shy of being over his heart.
“Your heart is racing” she commented and he smiled.
“I know… that tends to happen when I let pretty girls touch me”
“Do you do that often?”
“Only the one” he told her and she smiled.
She reached up, grabbing his hand from where he’d pinned hers to his chest and threading their fingers together. She smiled at him for a moment before blushing and coyly asking.
“Is there anywhere else you’d like to feel? It only seems fair…” she explained and he shifted, unsure how to explain that while he’d love to feel her chest, even if it was just through clothes, asking for that felt wrong.
Seeming to sense his internal struggle she let go of his hand and unclasped her cloak, sliding it off before removing her vest, leaving just her blouse and the layer she had under it.
“What uh…” she gestured to herself and still at war with himself Sebastian blushed.
“It feels… wrong to touch you, even through clothes, without having taken you out or kissed you or-“ he tried to explain and she just brought his hand around her waist and brought herself closer to him until he could feel her breath on his face.
“Then kiss me.” She told him as he stared wide eyed.
“Unless of course you don’t want to…” she explained moving to pull away and Sebastian reached forward, grabbing her face with both hands has he kissed her.
Her lips were soft and the noise that slipped past them into his mouth was intoxicating. Reaching a hand down, he felt the dip of her waist through her clothes and finally having a sense of what and where those curves were always hidden under clothes felt incredible.
Breaking apart he kept on hand cupping her face and the other around her waist.
“That was… nice” he commented, still feeling her body through her shirt as he smiled at her.
“It was… do you feel comfortable enough now to explore what you wanted to earlier?” She asked with a sweet grin and he smiled, leaning down once more.
“Not quite yet but possibly soon enough I will…” he explained before leaning back in and kissing her.
Much later, after dark , when they finally stumbled back into the castle with lips swollen from kissing, and an accidental mark on her neck from his eagerness to please… Sebastian found it hard to separate from the girl after having spent the entirety of the evening pressed against her and kissing.
However the forsaken friend in his pants was glad to finally be given some privacy for some reprieve. Taking her back to her room and kissing her goodnight, he rushed back and spent time clutching himself until he chanted her name and came with the memories of feeling up her soft breasts and plump behind as she had sat in his lap kissing his breathless.
It wasn’t that long after that night, much like the lizard, Sebastian also crawled up her skirt and found himself pressed against her skin while she screamed…
The end.

Cinderella Doesn’t Believe in Fairytales (pt 2)
((Part 1 Here))
Magic won’t fix anything.
Cinderella holds onto words. Commands. Be patient. Be kind. One big loving family. Magic won’t fix anything. Her loved ones’ words ring in her head the entirety of the following month, soaring above and diving beneath each other.
Sometimes the boy’s voice says, Be patient.
Sometimes her father says, Be kind.
Sometimes her mother says, Magic won’t fix anything.
Cinderella’s rations are in order. A week’s worth of dried foods to sustain her journey into town. It’ll take her a week on foot, three days by carriage but she doesn’t have access to a carriage. Her stepmother will be taking it. Her mind whispers, the Capitol is a week by carriage. You could—
She lets her mantras drown the thought. Cinderella is too old for fairytales.
The mice watch her from the windowsills the day of the full moon. She is mending Anastasia’s stockings by the fireside. It is the last time she’ll do so and she attempts to summon some fondness for the chore. It’s her sister who trusts her with this task, she has spent so many evenings warm and cozy with a needle and thread, she has gained some skill in mending from so many years practicing—
No fondness wells. Instead Cinderella’s eyes burn from the length of time between blinks and her heart beats so slowly that she feels like time is moving backwards. The fire crackles and Cinderella breaks the thread with her teeth, finishing the mend as sloppily as she can. With any luck, it’ll rub and give Anastasia a blister while she dances with the Prince.
She’s horrid. Did her mother see this side of her when she made her daughter promise to be kind? Cinderella starts on the heel of the next stocking.
“Cinderella.”
Stepmother is standing in the doorway to the kitchen, one elegant hand presses to the rough stone, the other behind her back. Drizella peeks out from beneath her arm, hair piled up on top of her head. Anastasia hovers behind, swishing her emerald skirts from side to side.
“Yes, Stepmother?” Cinderella asks. Her voice startles her. Low and rounded and empty. She is deep inside her own head as Stepmother steps into the sunlight streaming through the small window above the preparation table. Is there something you need assistance with?
“I have been thinking,” Stepmother says. Her chin lifts and her eyes glint when she eyes the basket of stockings. “You have…shown efforts in this household. I know the girls and I have not been as attentive as of late. Our focus has been entirely on the ball. Yet, I would not have you thinking your…help has gone unnoticed.”
“It was my idea,” Drizella blurts. She darts under her mother’s arms and pelts forward, nearly falling when she stops just short of Cinderella’s seat. She grins down at her. “This is my idea!”
“Our idea,” Anastasia says with a sniff. She steps around her mother with tiny, practiced steps. She’s using a strange accent, half Capital and half west mountains. She’s been attempting to blend into the upper nobility. “We thought of it together.”
“Yes, my girls are so kind,” Stepmother says. She reveals what she’s holding behind her back and Cinderella’s breath stills in her lungs. It’s fabric, beautiful, shimmering silver fabric. A hint of a lace sleeve peeks out from the bundle. “Here.”
Cinderella stands. This can’t be what she thinks it is. She doesn’t reach for the bundle even when Stepmother takes a step forward, hand outstretched. She swallows. “Is that a dress?”
“We had some money leftover at the seamstress,” Drizella says, leaning into Cinderella’s side. She tilts her head to rest on the taller girl’s shoulder. “Isn’t the color beautiful?”
“I didn’t want lace on my dress,” Anastasia says. She sits in Cinderella’s abandoned chair, smoothing her skirts like a court lady might. “So the seamstress said she could add it to yours. You’re welcome.”
Cinderella is staring at the dress. This can’t be real. Something in her chest trembles. Were they thinking of her at the seamstress’ studio? Her? “Why?”
“So you can attend the ball of course,” Stepmother says. She takes another step forward. “I am not so ungenerous as to ban you from going. Did you think I would?”
Yes. Cinderella’s hand trembles when she reaches for the dress. Her fingertips graze the smooth fabric. “It’s beautiful.”
“As beautiful as you are,” Stepmother says. Stepmother’s voice trembles. She blinks quickly as if holding back tears. “I have never told you so. It is not good for a girl of your…station to nurture ideas. However, I have come to regret my restraint.”
Don’t! Cinderella ignores the warning. Her heart is aching so fiercely that she can scarcely breathe. She takes the dress from Stepmother as gently as she would hold one of the mice. “You want me to come with you?”
“We’re all noble daughters,” Anastasia says primly. Her eyes are on Cinderella’s folded dress. “Wearing that, you might look the part.”
“Indeed. We leave in an hour,” Stepmother says. She holds out her hands to her daughters. “Come, girls. Let’s not get in Cinderella’s way. She must pack quickly.”
Cinderella feels light headed. She strokes the fabric and marvels at how cool and light it feels against her fingers. She doesn’t have anything else to wear to the Capital, not a stitch, but she has a dress. A dress her family gave her.
Don’t.
“But I want to see her open it,” Drizella whines. She walks backwards towards her mother. “Go on, Cinderella. Take a look. You’ll love the silhouette.”
Cinderella hardly notices Anastasia tiptoe around her. They bought her a dress. She doesn’t care what it looks like. It could be decades out of fashion. It could be completely bare. She doesn’t care. They bought her a dress and Stepmother acknowledged her hard work and—
Don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t—
Cinderella unfurls the dress. Something so light she didn’t notice it in the folds of the fabric drops to the ground and rolls.
Coal.
The dress is streaked with black soot, the front wrecked by the stains. There is no lace on the dress except for the one sleeve. The hemline is unfinished and cut at an angle that can’t be salvaged. The silver fabric is ruined everywhere except for the back panel of a skirt which Stepmother had used to conceal the mess.
“Oh, dear,” Stepmother says as Cinderella stares at the wreck. The trembling in Stepmother’s voice isn’t regret. It’s glee. “My, Cinderella, your dress is a mess. You won’t be able to go to the ball after all, will you?”
“In that?” Anastasia asks. She presses a hand to her chest, once again safely behind her mother. “No, no, no, you could never go in that.”
“Maybe you can clean it,” Drizella says. She’s bouncing on her toes. “You’re good at cleaning, right, Cinderella?”
“Alas,” Stepmother says, shaking her head. She ushers the girls ahead of her. “We leave in just an hour.” She clicks her tongue. “Do hurry, won’t you, Cinderella? Of course, if you can’t save the dress, what’s the point? Perhaps you should stay here after all…entirely up to you, dear.”
Anastasia’s snorts and Drizella’s shrieks of laughter echo behind them. They’re off to pack, thrilled by their prank. Stepmother stays in the doorway. Cinderella can feel her looking. Cinderella can’t tear her gaze away from the dress. After a long moment, Stepmother speaks.
“It is not in my nature to be cruel,” Stepmother says. Her heel taps against the stone. “I see we have hurt you. Perhaps you think us unkind for this little mischief, hm?”
Cinderella’s head is bowed. She can’t bring herself to speak.
“Trust me,” Stepmtoher says, “that it is not even a tenth as cruel as it would be to have you come with us. You are beautiful, Cinderella. Does it please you to hear me admit it? I can concede that much at least in light of what you must be feeling. But my daughters have worked hard for this day. They do not deserve the cruelty of having you who have worked for nothing overshadowing their efforts just because you were born beautiful.”
“Beautiful?” Cinderella tastes the word like poison on her tongue. “I—I am not—“
“Save me your false humility,” Stepmother says coldly. Her tapping heel stills. “You think yourself clever, but you are just a girl. I see how you lord yourself over my daughters. I have spent years attempting to curtail your excessive pride to no avail. In the end, you’ll see today as a favor to all parties involved. My daughters deserve this opportunity to rise above their station. You? You will have the opportunity see where you really belong.”
There is something interesting happening in Cinderella’s chest. Whereas before her heart beat so slowly it felt as if time flowed backwards, it’s the opposite now. Her heart is beating so fast and so loud that a river rushes through Cinderella at the speed of light.
“Beauty,” Cinderella says. She finally pulls her gaze from the ruined dress to meet Stepmother’s eyes. Stepmother’s mouth thins in displeasure, but Cinderella doesn’t care. “All these years over— over your perception? Your idea of what I am? Who I am?”
“Do not condescend to me,” Stepmother says.
It is not a denial.
Cinderella is a child again, perched on top of her father’s shoulders. The light is golden in her mother’s hair and she reaches for a strand that’s fallen free of her pins—
She is crouched in the garden, watching ants pull at a grounded butterfly’s wings. Sickened, she steps on them, pounds at them with her heels. Her name rings through the air as her mother hurries towards her—
Her father’s back is fading into the light as he leaves her mother in her window. Her mother’s shoulders shake and Cinderella is behind them both, clutching a doll—
She is holding her mother’s hand and it’s so cold. Her eyes are as pale and lifeless as the butterfly’s wings. Cinderella calls for her mother and the silence swallows her whole—
Cinderella is crying in the snow. She is dying or dead. Her legs are frozen, as cold as her mother’s hand, and she can’t tell if she’s even walking still. A bell rings through the trees and, half-mad, she follows it—
She lies in the warm grass of the meadow as the boy talks about stars and constellations and something beautiful unfurls in Cinderella’s chest for the first time in years—
She hopes. There is hope so bitter that it puckers her soul a little more with every letter she writes. She stands at the window and waits for her father or a letter or a sign—
You deserve more, the boy says. You’re strong, Cinderella. You have endured the freezing cold long enough. It is time to find somewhere warm—
When Cinderella is able to rip herself from the memories, Stepmother is gone. The dress is crumpled on the ground and Cinderella’s heart is loud in her ears.
“I,” Cinderella says to the empty room, “am more than beauty.”
Something in her chest cracks. A bone, maybe. A heart.
A dam.
Cinderella, not waiting for night, bursts out of the kitchen door. She lifts her skirts so that she can lengthen her strides and runs. The woods swallow her without preamble, the canopy glowing green in the afternoon light.
Be kind.
She leaps over fallen trees and dodges low branches, not caring as sticks fling up under her heels and leaves whip at her face. Her heart pounds.
Be patient.
How could she have been so blind? They were never going to love her. Stepmother saw only what she wanted to see, a part of Cinderella that is not who she is, something that’s never mattered.
One big loving family.
She poured love like blood into their mouths. She did what her parents taught her and loved with hands so open that her fingers bent backwards. For what? To be boiled down to nothing? To be pretty?
Magic won’t fix anything.
Cinderella, chest heaving, leaps into the clearing. She can feel her hair tangled behind her. Her hands are stained with soot and they leave black fingerprints on her skirts. A cut on her leg oozes. The wind whips at her in alarm. Cinderella doesn’t care.
She approaches the tree. The boy is waiting, still for once. How did he know she’d be there so soon? Why is his presence watching her like that? The rainbows of magic shiver like grass, bending away from her when she stalks through them.
“You promised me magic,” Cinderella says. Somehow she is not out of breath. She presses a hand to the oak tree’s warm bark. Her eyes spark. “Didn’t you?”
“I did,” the boy says.
“Then show me magic,” Cinderella says. “Whatever you want. Whenever you want. Just—keep your promise. Take me away from here.”
“Your wish,” the boy says, “is my command.”
The bark shifts under her fingers and Cinderella falls forward into the tree. She doesn’t have time to scream. Would she even want to? She drops into darkness so warm that her shoulders loosen as she plummets.
Out in the meadow, a single butterfly drifts across the top of the wildflowers.

ROUND 1D, MATCH 2 OUT OF 16!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda Under the Cut:
Linh Cinder:
Her glass slipper is her prosthetic foot. She's a cool badass mechanic queen. She's named Cinder because her aunt set her on fire as a toddler but she survived. She's a a cool cyborg with psychic powers, and she's also a really good mechanic.
She's a cyborg and she's from the Moon
She is a badass mechanic who is also a cyborg and did not intend to get dragged into this mess. She becomes a fugitive of the law, running from the prince who is also her romantic interest and is just objectively the best.
I love a sarcastic character and I love a good confrontation scene and she's great with both
she's a cyborg she's a mechanic she's a princess she's a fugitive she's the best.
She's a mechanic she's the lunar princess she has two prosthetic limbs she's supposed to be dead. Her best friend is an android who's a fangirl of her boyfriend (Kai, the emperor). Her ball was actually her showing up to keep Kai from getting seduced by her aunt (who's queen of the moon) and then killed. Instead of losing her slipper she just lost her entire foot. (That's all just in the first book.)
look man, if you've read tlc you know why but if not: cinder here goes through a lot, from living in a shitty household to leading a rebellion and witnessing what's practically a massacre (TWICE), getting stabbed in the mc'freaking heart and surviving, being a wanted fugitive, Oh, and also, she loses her goddamn FOOT instead of a glass slipper lol (albeit the foot is a prosthetic, which i might've forgotten to add, her left arm and (i think) leg are metal due to getting BURNED as a toddler by her somewhat power hungry aunt)
She's SO cool she's a mechanic and really clever and also an amputee and her prosthetics are very cool and she has fun space adventures with her little gang of found family and is also the heir to the crown on the moon and is trying to get control of it from her aunt (who's a dictator) so she can help the moon people be less oppressed! tl;dr she's a girlboss
She literally got set on fire. Shes a cyborg. Shes such a girl boss that her love interest kept her severed prosthetic foot as a memento. She is a revolutionary [against her will] and a politician [also against her will]. Shes a skilled mechanic, and called the queen of a super-powerful alien race with the ability to manipulate people’s perceptions of reality ugly TO HER FACE. Queen does not give a shit and just wants to hang out with her robot bestie and her dork ass boyfriend who is also the leader of an entire country. Shes iconic, she is the moment.
she's a teenage cyborg who works as a mechanic and is secretly royalty - a badass and i love her!!
Kickbutt cyborg Cinderella princess
Cyborg and mechanic is a fun new twist on classic Cinderella! (At least when I read it and it was new). Plus she’s got her Prince/Emperor all wrapped around her fingers before the ball!
she's cool as fuck that's why!! cyborg cinderella in a cool-ass future sci-fi world, she doesn't have glass slippers so she loses her ill-fitted cybernetic foot, she has a gun in her cyborg hand (mostly uses nonlethal projectiles), she has cool sci-fi magic mind powers, she's from the moon, she's a mechanic & she's smart as hell, she literally forms a ragtag team of other fairytale inspired characters & dethrones the evil queen of the lunar monarchy. also her prince charming is cool & funny & they're so sickeningly in love their feelings could power the sun. anyway vote Cinder ✨️
cinder is a mixed cyborg mechanic who has acquired beef with both her stepmother (adopted) and her bio aunt (tyrant queen levanna) and manages to escape their attempts to keep her down (including arson when she was like. 3 years old) and ultimately overthrows her aunt in a revolution lead by her and the other fairytale retellings (red riding hood and wolf, rapunzel and her ‘prince’, and her cousin snow white and her prince) and establishes a democracy! i enjoyed the series growing up and i personally think that cinder is very cool :]
The first book in The Lunar Chronicles is a retelling of cinderella, and my gosh it’s amazing. Cinder is a cyborg and faces a lot of prejudice, and it’s interesting to see that even in the future, where the book is set, there’s still so much discrimination, and Cinder faces it so well. She’s smart and snarky, and has such character growth and cares so much and akhjfqwthbj
shes cinderella if cinderella was a cyborg and also secretly an alien moon princess. fucking amazing series everyone should read it. It's very common for Cinderella retelling that "girlboss" her end up sending the weird message that victims of abuse should simply stand up for themselves <3 I really like Cinder because she's spunky and snaps at her stepmother, but it doesn't. do her any good? It just makes her stepmother worse. Also one of her stepsisters is nice, I love Peony.
Cyborg Cinderella, long-lost princess of the moon, revolutionary against the evil queen.
she’s a cyborg! instead of losing her shoe on the steps of the palace her entire foot comes off 👍 thats hard as fuck she’s so cool
Cinderella:
Because she is so cute in this, I love her outfits before and after the transformation, and this movie is just such a good adaptation of Cinderella
the 1997 cinderella movie is the best one ever to me like. you have whitney houston as the fairy godmother and brandy is so so so pretty and she's such an amazing cinderella. 10 minutes ago the best cinderella song of all time ever she sounded so good<3
does this movie even NEED propaganda?
Brandy Cinderella with Whitney Houston! Need I say more?
Brandy plays one of the best iterations of Cinderella actually
I just think she's neat. Also she looked the best in the ball gown
One of the most iconic Cinderellas of all time, Brandy brought tenderness, earnestness, and heartfelt poignancy that transformed the story and emphasized its humanity and themes of dreaming for the future. Her voice is celestial! The power of her performance is undeniable! As a lifelong Cinderella fan she was always one of my favorites.
A lot of children grew up watching this movie around the holidays.
This is my favorite version of Cinderella and Brandy absolutely KILLS IT as Cinderella!! Her voice is so sweet and beautiful. And her dress!! I love her peplum. ALSO HER BRAIDS MAKE A BUN AND ITS SO ADORABLE. just look up the soundtrack for this movie PLEASE

okay, i'm going to elaborate on what i said about how you can't convince me that deuce spade isn't directly inspired by jim hawkins, because i can't believe i haven't seen anyone talk about it before:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
yes, i know deuce is a card soldier. everyone who's ever played twst knows this. however. many of the characters seem to take inspiration from multiple characters and multiple movies. lilia is one of maleficent's armored minions but also has elements of the three fairies, vil is the evil queen but kind of played the role of hercules in book 6, ortho has parallels to both pinocchio and baymax, the cater cinderella theory is a thing, etc.
one of yana toboso's favorite disney movies is treasure planet, so it is not at all implausible that she took inspiration from it for one of her characters.
they're both raised by single mothers. we know nothing about deuce's father iirc, and all we know of jim's father is that he left one day when jim was little and never came back.
deuce used to be a diligent kid who studied hard but became frustrated with his grades not matching the effort he put in, so he stopped trying and became a delinquent.
jim is a smart kid who used to be curious and sweet, but after his father left he changed. he became a delinquent who was failing in school and frequently got in trouble with the police.
jim goes for joyrides on aircrafts called solar surfers and is skilled at building and maintaining them.
deuce goes for joyrides on blastcycles/magical wheels and is also skilled with machinery.
deuce talks about how one day he overheard his mom on the phone with his grandmother, in tears and saying that she must've been a horrible mother because of how deuce turned out. then when he got his letter from NRC he decided he wanted to change so he wouldn't hurt his mom anymore.
in treasure planet, there's a scene where jim overhears his mother talking to dr. doppler about how she's at the end of her rope with jim's behavior and doesn't know what to do anymore because she feels like she's tried everything. then he decides he wants to make things up to her by finding treasure planet.
by the time we meet deuce, he's already cleaned his act up and decided to try and become an honor student so his mother can be proud of him. the end of treasure planet implies that jim has enrolled in the interstellar academy that captain amelia wanted to recommend him to, and in fact the canceled sequel was going to focus on jim's time there.

Once you know that Marissa Meyer based The Lunar Chronicles (and specifically Cinder, the first book) on an old Sailor Moon fanfic she wrote, the inspiration can be fairly obvious (most obvious being the missing princess from the moon and the threat of war between Earth and the Moon). That being said, there’s enough of Meyer’s own inspiration/ideas in there to help make it stand out (the futuristic setting, for one thing).
But it did make me think: Bill Ellis (who I mentioned on here before) wrote an essay about Princess Tutu where he said that Cinderella--the fairy tale Cinder retells--is an archetypal precedent to magical girl transformations. Cinderella and Sailor Moon have premises unique to themselves, but then I thought about the basics of both stories: both Cinderella and Usagi start out as girls who are at a low point of their life (Cinderella is mistreated by her stepfamily, while Usagi is chronically late for school and failing tests--one is arguably worse than the other, sure, but the point is, neither of them is doing great in their own way). Then both of them encounter magic (fairy godmother, talking space cat, etc.) that gives them, as Ellis puts it, the skills they need to accomplish whatever they need to do (go to the ball, fight evil). For an added bonus, no one at the ball ever recognizes Cinderella, similar to how no one ever puts it together that Usagi is Sailor Moon, despite her never covering her face (though she did have a mask in the early chapters of the manga). Also, there’s a prince in both stories.
With that in mind, it’s not hard to see how it was easy for Meyer to take inspiration from Sailor Moon in her Cinderella retelling. (Interestingly enough, the original fanfic was a Puss in Boots AU, because as Meyer pointed out, both Puss in Boots and Sailor Moon have talking cats.)

While there are smarter people than me who have already analyzed Wish's themes, I'd like to put out some things I wanna say about each character and how they tie to the movie's themes.
The general message and theme of Wish is pursuing your dreams, a basic aesop that has been in many family movies. However, Wish's take on this moral is somewhat applicable to pursuing a career.
To give a straight forward cynical example; you, a young artist who wishes to work as an animator in the industry. Giving your wish to Magnifico, who represents the person in charge of said industry takes away your ability to draw and the passion to achieve your dream as an animator. So, you sat there back at home, waiting for a call from the industry in hopes that you have been applied.
When Magnifico does grant the few wishes, he immediately gives people the "job" they waited for years, ie a seamstress and a loyal knight. While not exactly in the movie, this applies to the probability of people who have achieve their dreams and find it unfulfilling or even stressful. The wishes he granted are the ones that he deems benefiting for him; a loyal knight who will do anything he wants them to do and a seamstress who will make the most beautiful dresses for the wealthiest people in the kingdom, himself.
Suddenly getting a position you dreamed of for years without proper training can lead to inexperience, hence why if you want to go to space, you have go to go through immense training. Without the passion to put in the effort to pursue a career, you won't learn how some dreams can be difficult to achieve so you go pursue other means to achieve your wish or even make a new one.
In contrast to Magnifico's instant and literal granting of wishes, Star cannot grant people what they want but helps them by giving them the means the pursue them.
Star, and eventually Asha are fairy godmothers. While most people see fairy godparents as good magical beings who grants your dreams, this is not true. The blue fairy gave Gepetto a son but it's up to Pinocchio to fulfill that wish by learning to be a real boy with the help of Jimminy whom the Blue Fairy assigned to be his conscience. Cinderella never wanted the prince to fall in love with her, she wanted a nice night out as an equal to her stepfamily at the ball. Her fairy godmother leaving the glass slippers are the tools to help her get out of her abusive life and is eventually rewarded with the freedom she deserves by being kind and hopeful. While there is no fairy godmother in Princess and the Frog, Evangeline serves as one given that Tiana wished to her and gets into a situation where she learns to value the friends and family, new and old who have always supported her achieving her and her father's dream of opening their restaurant.
Fairy godparents are the friends and family who supported you in achieving your dreams. When your dreams of opening a large business is impossible, your friends are their to help you into making a smaller one, showing that it's always possible, you just needed to guidance and the number of support. Hence why the "We are Stars" line shows that everyone are each other's fairy godparents.
As for the individual character bit, each of them represent aspects of not just Disney, but the industries Walt has inspired.
⭐️ Sabino - Sabino represents Walt and the studio. His wish to inspire people to pursue their dreams is reminiscent how Walt and his work became the inspiration for people to pursue to their passion in animation which also lead to other studios making animated movies.
⭐️ Dahlia and Simon - As I wrote in a previous post, Dahlia and Simon are opposites. Dahlia has already achieve her dreams to become a baker and if she is given a chance to have her wish "given" to Magnifico, she'll presumably decline and would improve her skills without him. While Simon had worked to achieve his dream to become a knight, he blindly follows Magnifico in high hopes only for him to lose his will to him and seeing how terrible Magnifico was and had never cared for him. Reminiscent of people who dream of working for their favorite celebrity only to be disappointed in knowing who they actually are.
⭐️ Star - Like I wrote above, Star is the friends and family who supports you into pursuing your dreams. As a being of joy, hope, possibility and wonder, Star is somewhat representative of child like innocence, as in how grown ups encourage their children into pursuing a hobby they like and once they go through the struggles, we are there to comfort them. This contrasts Magnifico's excuse to not grant the wishes; he thinks people fear the struggles of achieving their goals, Star helps them embrace the struggles.
⭐️ Amaya - While I already made many posts about Amaya, I genuinely want to make more because of how unappreciated she is, moreso than the husband who claimed he is. While I have written how she's representative of people who been in unhealthy relationships and accepting that their partner/spouse has become toxic, her story can be applicable to abusive families. Basically, Rosas is her and Magnifico's children and when Magnifico starts behaving unhealthily to their "children", ie telling them and doing things to them "for their own good", she resorts into getting him locked away from her and her children as she and them start support and heal each other from the experience. Magnifico being an emotionally abusive father to Asha who he treats as a servant than an apprentice/sorceress in training in an AU is something I'm surprised hasn't been made, as far as I know and I do encourage others to make one based on this.
🪞Magnifico - As that one post has written, Magnifico represents the shady people in charge of the film industry who scrapped, stolen and hoards ideas that will never been made, completed or released. Even though that post has already described what I wanted to write about him, there's another aspect I like to bring up. Heads up, Magnifico simps who're might be reading this, I heed you to cover your delicate eyes.
Tumblr media
This thing is Magnifico, and the IP's are the wishes he hoards. While he has the power and status to give these IP's to the people who waited years for them, he hoards them in his metaphorical vault and gives them something different they didn't want but are conditioned to accept.
At the end of the film, the wishes being returned, not granted, returned are applicable to how in example artists now knowing that the industry has declined them of their dreams to become an animator and make their own movie/show start to work independently with other artists.
In what I wrote above on Magnifico instantly granting the three wishes of the people who questioned him, they'd be end up unhappy. This is especially considering how he gives them the items seen in their dreams, but are just meaningless objects that just happened to appeared in their wishes, scissors for the seamstress, armor and sword for Simon. The man who wants to climb a mountain would just be given a flag and Magnifico would tell him to find the nearest mountain to climb. The old woman who wants to sail the sea would be given a ship with no crew to help her sail it. The woman who wants to fly would likely become weightless as she struggles on how to actually control her flying. If Magnifico did have granted these wishes, and since he cares very little of what his people wanted, he's the definition of "Be Careful What You Wish For". And especially considering his song about how "ungrateful" his people are to him, wish granted or not, there be very little difference.
While we don't see how these wishes can be granted once they were returned, we can conclude by logical and accessible means. Like how two people share a wish on flying, they work on a device that helps them glide in the air. Same with the man and the old woman, they will find the right people to support in funding an expedition to climb any mountain and sail a ship to visit places.
Magnifico sees their wishes "literally" hence why he doesn't want to grant them other than his selfish reasons to hoard them, but the images are general representations of their dreams. For example, a child wishes to become a mermaid and swim with the fishes, and when she grows up and accepts that mermaids are not real, she still works for that dream and becomes a marine biologist who uses diving equipment to go underwater and see marine life in person.
That's what achieving a dream is.

It's too bad that the 2021 Amazon/Sony Cinderella was such a mixed bag, because a version of Cinderella with the title character as a dressmaker and fashion designer could have been fantastic.
In Perrault's version of the tale, as the stepsisters plan what to wear to the ball, they turn to Cinderella for advice on everything, because she has "excellent notions" about fashion. Several adaptations that long predate the 2021 film – for example, the 1949 Russian film and its 1979 animated short remake – also make her a skilled seamstress, and have her sew her stepfamily's ballgowns. Disney's Cinderella shares this talent too, since she apparently made all the tiny clothes the mice and birds wear, she owns a book of dress designs, and she plans to fix up her mother's pink dress for the ball herself before her stepfamily keeps her too busy to do so.
Now, I'm sure Perrault and those adaptations just added these details to portray her as an ideal of femininity. But why not portray Cinderella's eye for fashion and skill at sewing as a special, unique talent and passion of hers? Why not portray her, like Rarity in My Little Pony: Friendship as Magic, as an artist whose medium just happens to be clothes? And why not let her use it as a means to try to earn her own living and escape from her stepfamily?
I think the problem with the 2021 musical is its ham-fisted emphasis on feminism, and the way it portrays sexism as Cinderella's obstacle, when a female dressmaker in a 19th century setting should have been nothing out of the ordinary. I think it might have worked better if her problem had been social class instead – if rather than people scorning her for trying to start a business because she's a woman, they scorned the idea that a poor, ragged "servant girl" thinks she can make beautiful dresses worthy of the rich. That would have fit much better with the tale's central "rags to riches" theme. But in my personal opinion, the core concept of a talented seamstress and fashion designer Cinderella, who dreams of opening her own dress shop and who designs her own ballgown, is a good one. Particularly because it has some basis in Perrault's tale and in earlier adaptations.

Protean, Temortanga
Tumblr media
“Quetzalcoatl” © Leah Sutherland, accessed at her deviantArt gallery here
[After eight years, I’m finally doing it. I’m writing proteans. The proteans are the only one of Pathfinder’s outsider lineages I haven’t written any of before. This is because I find them too samey. They look cool, don’t get me wrong. And they pack a huge punch in combat; I have gotten really close to a TPK in a fight with three proteans versus optimized 15th level characters. But that’s all they seem to do is fight. We’re given hints about protean choirs, but all of their monster entries get very abbreviated in the Bestiaries, and all of them seem to be focused on fighting lawful creatures. There’s more to change than just destruction!
So I’m putting my own spin on it. Each of my proteans is going to focus on something else that changes, and have some sort of ability that changes themselves as well as changes others. And each of them will have some sort of goal that isn’t directly tied to “kill lawful creatures”. They’ll be designed to fit into CR gaps among existing proteans, so that way there’s a stat block for each CR 2 through 20. And I am going to cap this off with a protean lord, although in this case she’s not my character; she’s a collaboration.
So the temortanga is the one protean I’m writing who doesn’t fit into a CR gap. It’s another CR 4 protean, after the ourdivar, which is my least favorite protean, both conceptually and mechanically. Conceptually, they only exist when summoned. Mechanically, the most interesting thing they do is explode when they die.Not to toot my own horn too much, but “Cinderella’s fairy godmother as a fashionista” strikes me as a cooler concept.
Oh, and because I like to play games, each of these entries contains a riddle. The names for my proteans (minus the protean lord) will be anagrams of people’s names who are thematically related to the protean. Can you guess who “temortanga” is named after?]
Protean, Temortanga CR 4 CN Outsider (extraplanar) This creature is humanoid from the waist up, with a beautiful if noticeably inhuman face. Below the waist, she is serpentine, with scales in rainbow hues. Her arms have a set of feathers like long sleeves, and similar feathers grow from the tip of her tail.
A temortanga is a protean trendsetter; they represent changes in fashion and appearance. Their faces are more humanoid than those of most proteans, at least typically. A temortanga can change its face if it chooses to a more serpentine one, or to something wholly novel—they usually use this ability when interacting with non-humanoid races to make them feel more comfortable, or occasionally for shock value. They are not especially interested in combat, much preferring to talk, perform or play dress-up. They can create new clothing out of thin air, and their scales and feathers crumble away to form various kinds of paints, dyes and other cosmetics. Their fashion alterations are usually temporary, but a temortanga might slip a piece of its own real jewelry or fancy clothing into a costume for someone it especially likes, or incorporate previously existing materials into a new look.
If forced to fight, temortangas can scratch and lash out with their tails, but not especially well. They prefer a support role, supporting their allies with bardic performances and using spells to damage or embarrass enemies. Their passion for fashion does have a defensive purpose as well; a temortanga can imbue one of its garments with protective magic, and they change this as they need to in order to be safer in their particular fight.
Temortangas are usually obsessed with being in the spotlight; what they do, they do for the applause. Their attitudes tend towards excitable, even giddy, although they are skilled enough at social graces that they can maintain a poker face when they need to. Temortangas are cliquey, with shifting friend groups based on artistic interests and fashion choices, but moving back and forth between groups is seen as perfectly acceptable. They know that they are relatively weak compared to other proteans, and may use flattery and charm to recruit stronger proteans as allies. Unlike many other proteans, they enjoy being summoned by mortals, because it gives them a chance to share their talents with a new audience and catch up on new trends

This stacks with levels of bard for the purposes of advancing bardic music, but not other bard class abilities like spellcasting or versatile performance. Change Shape (Su) A temortanga can change shape at will, but does not gain any healing from reverting to its normal shape, as is typical for proteans. Conjure Costuming (Su) As a standard action at will, a temortanga can create clothes, wigs, jewelry or any other item of apparel worth 100 gp or less. Such items decay into feathers and shed scales within 8 hours. Defensive Dress (Su) As a standard action, a temortanga can designate one piece of clothing or jewelry it wears as its defensive dress. It then gains a resistance bonus equal to its Charisma modifier on one type of saving throw (Fortitude, Reflex or Will) as long as that item is worn, or until the temortanga spends a standard action to change it. The statistics above include this bonus to the temortanga’s Fortitude save. Made of Makeup (Ex) A temortanga is always treated as having a disguise kit that never runs out of uses. It can make disguises for other characters without penalty. Meaningful Makeover (Su) By spending 10 minutes applying makeup to a willing creature, a temortanga can grant that creature a +5 morale bonus to two Charisma based skill checks of the temortanga’s choice. This bonus lasts for 8 hours, or until the makeup is washed off. A temortanga can use this ability a number of times per day equal to its Charisma modifer. It can use this ability on itself, which does count against its pool of uses.

Fate Fanservant: Cinderella, Queen of All Fairy Tales(Ruler)
Ascension Stages:
First Stage: Cinderella is clad in an older, ragged cloak that covers most of her body. Faint hints of a scar can be seen on the left side of her face, but she has drawn her hood up to hide it from the world. Her clothes are older, ill-fitting and tearing in several places, but a faint aura of gold and white seems to surround her even in this state.
Second Stage: The cloak has been removed, and Cinderella is now dressed in a torn jacket and pants, parts of her body covered in bandages. On her body are several burn marks of black and red, covering a fair amount of her body. Her hair is pulled back, revealing a burn scar on the left side of her face. Most notably, her arms and legs have been burned almost completely black, akin to molten rock. Fire dances at her fingertips, and her face has taken a more downcast expression.
Final Stage: Cinderella’s ragged and torn clothes have been replaced with an ornate white and blue dress, and silver gloves and stockings with golden trim adorn her arms and legs. A pair of glass slippers gleam upon her feet, and a silver anklet shines on her leg. In her hands are a sword and shield made of the very same magical glass. Adorning her figure are various panes of glass, hovering around her to defend. Her scars are in full display now beneath the glass, but she bears her wounds with pride rather than shame.

Voice Actress: Yuu Asakawa
Deck: QQABB
Parameters:
Strength: B- Endurance: A++ Agility: B+ Mana: A+ Luck: EX NP: EX
Passive Skills:
Blessing of True Magic EX:
As a Servant intrinsically tied to magical powers protecting and guiding her, Cinderella boasts a Magic Resistance surpassed only by deities and saints. Her Magic Resistance grants her the ability to nullify nearly any spell used against her, barring any extreme circumstances. As a Servant who embodies the concept of 'happily ever after', any attempts at trying to destroy said happy ending will be outright nullified completely.
Interestingly, Cinderella's Blessing of True Magic seems to be a hybrid of an innate resistance to magical powers afforded to her by her status as a Ruler-class, and an unknown outside source of magical energy protecting her at all times. It is through this combination of her abilities that her Magic Resistance is so unusually high in comparison to most Servants.
(FGO Effect:) -Increases own debuff resistance by 25%. -Increases own buff removal resistance by 25%. -Grants self Buff Block immunity. -Charges own NP gauge by 7.5% when attacking with Buster Cards.
Item Construction(Fairy Tale) B:
As much of Cinderella's tale involves the use of magic to produce fanciful dresses, slippers of gold and glass, wondrous carriages, and so much more, she has the Item Construction skill applied to her by default. Using her magic, she can create numerous items out of seemingly nothing but junk or vegetation lying around the area, and can even transmute living creatures into other entities, such as changing mice and dogs into humans, or woodland creatures into mighty stallions.
However, many of these items can only last for a limited time, vanishing in a matter of hours, or even less, depending on how much power she puts into creating these items. When these items are present, though, they are often of the highest quality materials and efficiency, even when they are made from actual garbage.
(FGO Effect:) -Increases own buff success rate by 8%. -Increases own critical star generation rate by 8%.
Riding A+:
Due to her nature as a woman who can capture the heart of any beast or animal she chooses, Cinderella has an incredibly high Riding skill, even when manifesting as a Ruler Class Servant. Even the most rowdy of Phantasmal Beasts or Dragon Kind are willing to lend her their aid for short periods of time, with only almighty Divine Beasts being able to stand outside of her influence. If no animals are available for her to ride, she can also temporarily create steeds in the form of pumpkins, vines, and other inanimate objects.
Despite her unmatched talents at taming animals and plants, she often struggles with managing more modern vehicles compared to other Servants, hence why she lacks an EX Rank. This has done nothing to discourage her from trying, however, and she often dreams of being able to use more modern vehicles by herself someday.
“A motorcycle... So cool...! Yes, I will definitely learn how to use one someday! ...I hope.”
(FGO Effect:) -Increases own Quick performance by 12%.
On the Border of Reality and Fantasy EX:
In contrast to her husband, Prince Charming, who is a Servant that is wholly fictional, or to a Servant such as Marie Curie, who is undoubtedly a real person, Cinderella stands in a unique position. While the character of Cinderella is undoubtedly one borne from fantasy and fairy tales, records do show that there was once a person who existed that inspired one of the first versions of Cinderella: Rhodopis, a hetaera from the Sixth Century BC who served as a slave to the storyteller Aesop, and eventually married the King of Egypt.
Reality and Fantasy, Truth and Lies, Fact and Fiction. Cinderella is both and neither, an anomaly that walks along their borders without faltering. As a consequence of this dual existence, Cinderella stands outside of the usual constraints of the Summoning System. Even in a Singularity where heroes and fantasies have all but died, and even in a reality where no traces of Mana can hope to exist, Cinderella will still be able to manifest in some form.
She is both dream and dreamer, a fantasy who holds fantasies of her own, and a persecuted maiden that will forever wish for better things to come. The greatest heroine of all Fairy Tales, the almighty queen of stories new and old, to which all others must inevitably bow their heads to.
(FGO Effect:)  -Increases NP by 5% each turn. -Gain 5 Critical Stars each turn.
Queen of All Fairy Tales EX:
Among all other Fairy Tales, Cinderella is the one that can be most argued to be the most well-known throughout the world, with there being five hundred different variations known in Europe alone, and roughly eight hundred versions told around the world. Nearly any culture can look upon Cinderella and recognize her in some type of form. As a result, she has an ability akin to that of a Divine Core, a power granted to her by her status as Queen of All Fairy Tales.
As a Servant, Cinderella exists as an embodiment of the hopes and dreams of those who have suffered, those who have been lost, or those who feel trapped in a cruel and merciless life with which there seems to be no escape from.  She is the very concept of 'a miracle', someone who was able to escape her own horrible life and lay claim to her own happily ever after in the end. While her combat ability in her own stories was essentially nonexistent, as a Servant, she stands among the strongest to ever live due to how her story resonates with nearly all people across the world.
However, it is not power that grants her the legendary title, but rather her heart. Even in the face of the cruelty she was subject to for ages, her will was never truly broken. Even after years of abuse and hardship, she never truly lost her kindness.
A story so beloved and so enduring that multiple cultures can come up with it simultaneously and tell it in different ways, a story where the good are rewarded and escape their suffering, and where the wicked are stopped and made powerless, and a story where an abused, innocent girl is allowed her happily ever after.
(FGO Effect:)  -Increases own damage by 300. -Decreases damage taken by 300.
Active Skills:
The Persecuted Heroine EX:
After the death of her mother, Cinderella's father remarried to a wicked and cruel stepmother, who brought in her evil but beautiful stepdaughters. They stripped her of her clothes, forced her to eat and live in the kitchen, and made a slave of her, forcing her to work day and night at impossible tasks and making her sleep by the hearth in order to stay warm. When she woke up covered in cinders, her family gave her the mocking name of 'Cinderella'.
However, despite the suffering she had to go through, she still had a safe refuge in both the hazel tree she had planted by her mother's grave and the animals that she had befriended with her good heart. Through them, she was able to accomplish the impossible tasks her stepmother gave her each and every day, and with their gifts, she was able to attain the happiness she was denied in the end.
This manifests as a skill akin to Animal Communication, where Cinderella can communicate with wildlife as easily as one can communicate with people. Unlike Animal Communication, where the animals gain no real increase in intellect, this skill enchants the animals with magic, granting them greater thinking comparable to that of humanity and empowering them with magical abilities on par with an Anti-Army Noble Phantasm, allowing Cinderella to properly direct them in combat or combine them with her own magic. Or simply ask them to help her with chores.
Among the closest connections Cinderella has with her animal companions is that of a lone eagle, the very same bird from the tale of Rhodopis that stole her sandal and dropped it into the lap of the king. Even if no one else would answer her call, this noble bird will always come to aid her, even at the end of days.
(FGO Effect:) -Increase critical damage for all allies. -Gains critical stars based on the number of Animal-Characteristic allies. -Reduces own critical star absorption for 1 turn[Demerit].
The Stroke of Midnight B:
As the fairy tale goes, the magical dress and coach that was granted to Cinderella were astonishingly miraculous. They outshone every other person at the ball, gaining the attention and catching the heart of the kingdom's prince. She shone as if she was a beautiful angel from Heaven, and at the ball, her grace and beauty that was constantly trod upon by her abusive family was allowed to truly shine for the world to see. That night, her heart was filled with a happiness she hadn't known in the years since her mother had passed away. However, the magic was not meant to last, with it all fading away at the stroke of midnight. And so, Cinderella had to run far away to her home before the magic faded completely, hiding in a tree until the prince had lost her trail.
This part of her legend manifests as the ability to boost her magical energy reserves to great heights, greatly ramping up both her offensive and defensive prowess and overclocking her parameters and skills so that they all jump up by several ranks. However, this skill is limited in that it only works during the night, and is destined to disappear once the clock strikes twelve at midnight. Furthermore, this skill can only be used once every day, meaning that after those three uses have passed, she can no longer activate this ability.
(FGO Effect:) -Charges own NP Gauge. -Grants party Invincibility for one turn. -If there is a 'Fae' Servant on the field, apply Debuff Immune to self(one time). -After three turns, apply Stun to self(one turn)[Demerit].
What Has Been Lost, Now Returned EX:
The embodiment of 'Happily Ever After', the most famous aspect of Cinderella was when the Prince reunited with her, returning the glass slipper that she had left behind. After the Prince and Cinderella wed, she was able to leave the life of pain and misery behind, and embrace her own happy ending, no longer bound by the cruelty and wickedness of her family, who were left exposed as the evil people they were.
As the Queen of All Fairy Tales, Cinderella's power is to ensure that the suffering and downtrodden are granted their happy endings, and that the evil and cruel get their just rewards. As a result, Cinderella has the ability to resist 'alterations' to her own story, akin to an Avenger’s Oblivion Correction. She can resist any attempts at temporal disruption such as Red Riding Hood's own plot to distort her own fairy tale, as well as see when alterations to the story have been made. However, this ability is limited in that she cannot immediately discern the source of these alterations, but merely see that something has been altered.
(FGO Effect:) -Increase attack of all Fairy Tale and Phantom Servants for three turns. -Increase defense of all Fairy Tale and Phantom Servants for three turns. -Apply Guts to all Fairy Tale Servants(two times, five turns).
Noble Phantasms:
Noble Phantasm: Truyện Bất Tử - The Story That Forever Calls You
Rank: B Maximum Targets: 1 Range: —
Classification: Anti-Unit(Self)
A passive Noble Phantasm borne from the Vietnamese fairy tale, "The Story of Tấm and Cám". It is said that after Tám's stepmother and stepsister murdered her out of jealousy for marrying the sovereign, the fair maiden reincarnated multiple times in many different forms to reunite with her betrothed, ranging from a lovely oriole, two gentle peach trees, a wooden loom, burning ashes, a golden apple, before finally being reborn as Tấm herself as she took vengeance upon her wicked stepmother and stepsister for their treachery.
This legend manifests itself as a unique ability. Much like how her husband, Prince Charming, embodies 'the hero that will always triumph over evil', Cinderella embodies 'the maiden who will always escape from her torment'. Cinderella's very existence is innately tied to that of mankind's own hopes and dreams for a better ending. So long as there are people that desire their wishes to come true, there will be a Cinderella to answer their call as their champion. As a Servant that embodies dreamers and fantasies, Cinderella will always be reborn, just as her stories are told again and again. Even when her enemies kill her again and again, Cinderella will find a way to return and reclaim what was stolen from her, outright forcing the World to allow her back in through sheer will.
This Noble Phantasm does have its limitations, however. It is not a 'true' immortality like that of the Monkey King Sun Wukong or the Lunar Rabbit Yù Tù. Rather, with this reincarnation ability, she lacks a 'concept of death', akin to the Primordial Mother, albeit on a lesser scale, so in theory, an attack akin to the First Hassan's Azrael could stop her reincarnation and render her mortal.
Nevertheless, even in the face of death and darkness, the Persecuted Heroine will continue to stand, the last line of defense for all who have looked up at the night sky and dreamed.
Noble Phantasm: La Colère de Cendrillon - The Hate That Forever Binds You
Rank: A Maximum Targets: 1 Range: —
Classification: Anti-Unit(Self)
In her tales told in Europe, Cinderella gained her name from the fact that her body was often covered by dust and ash from working so hard for her family without rest without any thanks or respite. She wasn’t even allowed to sleep in a bed like the rest of the family, instead being forced to sleep by the fireplace for warmth. The cruelty of her family weighed heavily on her soul, but not once could she ever let loose her sorrows or her frustrations, or else she would be turned out onto the streets. For years, Cinderella was forced to endure years of physical, emotional, and financial abuse, holding her tongue for fear of reprisal, only escaping thanks to the work of her mother's hazel tree.
But even the miraculous fortune granted to her could not rid her of her own bitterness and self-loathing. Even marrying a prince who loved her with all his heart could not erase her past or let her forget her suffering. The pain she had to live through followed her like a scourge all her life, even in her ‘Happily Ever After’. As a Servant, this anger manifests as the very cinders that gave her her name, with her arms and legs being burned pitch-black and crackling like flame. The fires she wields are the embodiment of the grief and rage she was never able to truly express under her family’s thumb. If Cinderella needs to take a stand and fight, she can unleash torrents of fire from her limbs that grow even stronger the more violent her emotions grow, and burn far longer and hotter than any normal fires ever would, and are intense enough to burn an enemy’s very existence to ash.
However, despite the sheer power of this Noble Phantasm, it comes at a great cost to her as well. If Cinderella were to let her own self-loathing and rage consume her utterly, she would risk losing herself completely to her own darkest parts, becoming a raging flame that would burn the World itself to ash and cinders, before ultimately burning herself away along with it.
Cinderella herself dislikes using this Noble Phantasm, as she believes it is emblematic of everything wrong about her, everything she hates about herself, and the ultimate proof that her family was right about her.
Noble Phantasm: Pantofola di Vetro - The Gift That Finally Frees You
Rank: A+ Maximum Targets: 1 Range: —
Classification: Anti-World(Self)
Cinderella’s second Noble Phantasm, the evolved version of La Colère de Cendrillon, manifesting as her main armaments as the Queen of All Fairy Tales. The resentful flames and ashes of her abusive past having been tempered and cooled. The toxic ashes and burning fires that surrounded her at all times when she was younger have been transformed into a beautiful armor spun from magical glass, the fabled gift that set her free from her abusive home life. No longer is she harmed by her own self-loathing or resentment, but rather shields herself with the dignity and grace of a queen.
As the story goes, among the items that Cinderella was gifted when she was dressed up to go to the ball, the most eye-catching and famous was the pair of glass slippers she wore, perfectly molded to fit her and her alone. When Cinderella fled the ball at the stroke of midnight, she ended up leaving one of her glass slippers behind in her flight home. It was through this same glass slipper that the prince was able to find her again, searching throughout the land to find the one girl in all the kingdom who would match the slipper. When the prince reunited with Cinderella, she was granted the one thing she was never gifted throughout her life: an escape from the hell that was her family’s abuse, mockery, and neglect, and she was given a chance to pursue her own happiness after years of torment and sadness, finally being able to smile again.
As a Servant, this part of her story manifests as enchanted glass armor, far more sturdy than its fragile appearance would suggest. This mystical glass repels evil, and automatically protects Cinderella from any attack ranked A+ or lower, much like Heracles's God Hand, ensuring that Cinderella is effectively immune to any attack not outright ranked at EX, and any attack that does manage to bypass these defenses are severely reduced in power. While Heracles's God Hand grants him 'a body that knows no death', Cinderella's Glass Slipper gifts her 'a shield that will push through the darkness', triumphing over every trial and tribulation the world seeks to throw at her in order to reach her own 'happily ever after'. Combined with her Blessing of True Magic skill, Cinderella’s incredible defenses allow her to outright nullify almost any attack thrown at her, allowing her to advance forward even in the face of the most terrifying monsters. So mighty is this armor that it can even withstand blows from Prince Charming’s almighty Marmyadose, though the chances of Cinderella and Prince Charming ever fighting one another in battle are well and truly impossible.
In conjunction with her powerful armor, Cinderella can also create constructs made out of this same enchanted glass, from a nigh-invulnerable shield that can halt even Divine Weapons, a powerful horse and carriage comparable to Dragonkind, pillars of spun glass that can rise past even the tallest mountains, to even an entire enchanted forest and castle to serve as a fortress against enemies as powerful as Fenrir Riding Hood. If Cinderella needs to enter combat directly, she can even focus the magic-negating properties of her glass armor into a gleaming blade that can carve through even enemies from the Age of Gods.
This Noble Phantasm is a near-perfect defense, a bulwark against all who would seek to give the story a wicked and unjust end. Just as La Colère de Cendrillon has the ability to reduce the World to ash and cinders, Pantofola di Vetro has the ability to shield the World from all villainy and dangers. The last and greatest line of defense for humanity’s dreamers.
Noble Phantasm: Once Upon a Time - The Stories That Are Carried With YouRank: E-A++Maximum Targets: —Range: —
Classification: Anti-Narrative
An almighty Noble Phantasm that serves as a record of human history itself, and the twin to Prince Charming’s own Ever After. This technique functions similar to that of Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon and Menes' Imperial Privilege, being a manifestation of all of mankind’s accomplishments. While the King of Heroes has an armory of all the weapons mankind has made and will ever make, and Menes has the capability to replicate any and all physical attributes she has witnessed, Cinderella's Noble Phantasm allows her to reach directly into the Throne of Heroes, bypassing the typical Summoning Rituals or defenses placed upon it by the World to call upon a champion to fight in her name. Even heroes who have been long forgotten or anti-heroes abandoned and scorned by the world feel compelled to come to Cinderella's aid by this Noble Phantasm, and upon their arrival, their abilities are further enhanced even beyond a Servant's normal capabilities.
While Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon is the embodiment of subjugation, and Menes' Imperial Privilege is the embodiment of domination, Cinderella's Once Upon a Time is the embodiment of human connection. It is not a forced summoning of a hero, like the Summoning System used by mages in the Grail Wars. Nor is it an emergency call to arms by the Counter Force in order to surmount an impossible foe. Rather, her charisma and honesty is enough to sway even the most steadfast and cruel of hearts, allowing her to call forth a champion who will fight to save the world without hesitation. Even in the face of impossible barriers to a Servant’s arrival such as Goetia’s Nega-Summon or Red Riding Hood’s Nega-Champion, a hero will be able to make their way through the darkness to hold the banner of humanity high. In summation, this Noble Phantasm is the very embodiment of the concept of 'Happily Ever After', a summoning of a great hero to save the day and vanquish evil.
"The world is cruel… The world is wicked… The world has produced much evil and sorrow… I should know. I have lived through it myself firsthand. But even then, I have faith in humanity. Faith that there is kindness even in the face of cruelty. Where there is good despite the wickedness. Where there can be happiness and joy even when hatred and sadness seems so insurmountable. Most of all… I believe you truly can save the world and give it a happy ending."
Noble Phantasm: Ewig Sanfter Haselnussbaum - The Love That Never Leaves YouRank: EXMaximum Targets: 1Range: —Classification: Anti-Narrative(Self)
In almost every version of the Cinderella story that has been told, there is one unifying factor between them all: a benefactor, sometimes magical, sometimes mundane, that nonetheless arrives in the heroine’s darkest hour in order to bless her with a miracle. In some stories, it is the heroine’s fairy godmother or an angel come to reward her for her piety and kindness. In other stories, it is an animal such as a divine eagle or golden fish. In other stories, it is a powerful witch or almighty god who seeks to test the heroine’s goodness and charity. Whatever the form or shape the mystical helper takes, they serve as the ultimate reward for the heroine’s pure soul and righteous heart.
In particular, this Noble Phantasm takes the form of the hazel tree that Cinderella planted by her mother's grave, where all her fortunes sprang from, and the only place she ever felt safe as a child upon her mother’s passing. In reality, this hazel tree is the very soul of her deceased mother possessing the hazel tree planted at her grave, continuing to provide for her long after her passing. While she passed away at a young age, her determination to bring her child happiness was strong enough to possess the tree that Cinderella had planted at her mother’s grave. This tree gave her the ability to commune with animals to serve as her protectors and helpers. It gave her her lovely dress with which she arrived at the ball, outshining any other beauty in the room. It gave her magical powers of her own when the time was needed to protect the world she loved, pushing her to be a shining light even in the darkest hours. Even now, she still watches over her daughter as her Noble Phantasm, serving as the source of all the incredible magic Cinderella has at her disposal, and a guardian who will answer her call when she is needed.
When called upon by Cinderella, her Noble Phantasm manifests as a massive tree in the shape of a woman towering over even the almighty wolf of Ragnarok, Fenrir. This treant will not hesitate to attack anything and everything that wishes to do Cinderella harm, fighting with the relentlessness and love of a true mother’s love and will, whether it be summoning animals to maul her enemies, or merely crushing her opponents with her mighty branches. The hazel tree is fully capable of acting without Cinderella's commands, and indeed has a mind of its very own, able to take action even when Cinderella herself has been incapacitated. Anything and everything that is even remotely a threat to Cinderella is an enemy, and all enemies of Cinderella must be destroyed without mercy.
However, despite the fearsome power of the hazel tree, it is not her physical abilities that make this Noble Phantasm such a terrifying one to face. Rather, it is the wishes that Cinderella holds. Much like how the hazel tree was able to create the impossible throughout the story, providing Cinderella a dress and shoes so she could find her true love, and helped her complete the impossible tasks set by her stepmother, so too will the hazel tree grant Cinderella's hopes when wished upon. So long as the wish made is selfless in nature, Cinderella's dreams will become reality. These wishes grow even more powerful the greater the impossibility of the act is, akin to Apollo 11’s own Noble Phantasm.
In essence, this Noble Phantasm is the very manifestation of the strongest magic to ever exist within a fairy tale: an act of true love

Voice Lines(First and Second Ascension):
Summoned: Guten Tag, I am Aschenputtel, Ruler Class. Ah, sorry, you might be more used to my English name, Cinderella. I'm not that important of a Servant, and I don't really have anything that makes me special compared to other Servants, but I'll do my best to not let you down. Whatever you ask of me, I will accomplish to the best of my ability.
Level Up 1: Are you sure? I don't know if I'm the best one to be given this kind of power.
Level Up 2: Th... Thank you! I won't waste this opportunity!
1st Ascension: I'm sorry you have to look at me like this... My hands and feet, burned black due to tending the fires so much. It's hideous, I know... But thank you for keeping me around, all the same.
2nd Ascension: Will these ashes ever leave me be…? …no, I suppose I already know the answer to that, don’t I? Still… I’m glad that I can help you and your endeavors despite these terrible burns of mine.
Fight Start 1: *sigh* I suppose that I have no choice in the matter, do I?
Fight Start 2: I-I’m sorry to bother you, but can you help me out right now?
Fight Start 3: I admit that I’m not much of a partner… But can we dance all the same?
Skill 1: *whistles*
Skill 2: Just a moment, I’ll be right there!
Skill 3: If that is what is needed of me.
Command Card Select 1: I-I’m not really a fighter.
Command Card Select 2: My little friends, could you please help me?
Command Card Select 3: I’ll finish this task the best I can!
Noble Phantasm Select 1: Are you ready… To be consumed by the cinders…?!
Noble Phantasm Select 2: Ghhh… Haaaaaah… “That’s it… Feed the fires…”
Attack 1: U-um… Please don’t blind them this time.
Attack 2: Oh, thank you for your help!
Attack 3: Let’s go!
Attack 4: Eep!
Attack 5: I’m warning you… Please run!
Attack 6: BURN!
Attack 7: Haah… HAAAAAAH!
Attack 8: Let the cinders fall where they may.
Attack 9: Incinerate them…
Extra Attack 1: Sorry to disturb you, Sir Knight, but… (Lancelot: Think nothing of it, fair lady! Arondight OVERLOAD!!!)
Extra Attack 2: Pardon me, you two, but could you give me a lift? (Hessian Lobo: *howls*)
Extra Attack 3: I, um, hope you two don’t mind the sudden summons. (Miss Crane: A chance to work with the Cinderella?! EEEEEE! Habetrot: Nyahahaha! A tailor’s work is never done!)
Extra Attack 4: Time for a bit of cleaning, Lady Beni-Enma? (Beni-Enma: It can’t be helped, dechi.)
Extra Attack 5: Red Riding Hood… You’re helping me too? (Red Riding Hood: For now at the very least. *bang*)
Noble Phantasm 1:
P… Please…
Run away.
I… I can’t control it.
I don’t want to burn you… but I can’t hold back anymore.
La Colère de Cendrillon…!
Noble Phantasm 2:
Ngh… Ghh…
Get… AWAY…!
LA COLÉRE DE CENDRILLION!!!
Noble Phantasm 3:
“Don’t hold back anymore…”
“Hurt them. Hurt them just like they hurt you.”
“The pain… the misery… the sorrow… Let it all burn within you…”
“Let it consume every essence of your being… And let it consume them down to their very soul.”
“Let. It. Out.”
Damage from Noble Phantasm: I’m sorry…! I’m sorry!
Regular Damage: Kyah!
Defeated 1: I let… All of you down.
Defeated 2: I should’ve known better than to have come here…
Victory 1: I won?! I-I mean, I won!
Victory 2: I’m sorry… I hope your story has a better ending in the next life..
Bond Level 1: *fidget* *fidget* I'm sorry, am I bothering you? O-or perhaps you need me to help clean up around here? I couldn't help but notice that there was some cleaning that needed to be done. ...yes, I think I'll get right on that.
Bond Level 2: 'Why do I work so hard...?' Well, I thought something like that would be clear. After all... It's what I was raised to do. My... family, all they asked of me is to help satisfy their own needs. So... after a while, I learned to be quiet and serve. I don't particularly mind doing this work. After all, it means I get to accomplish something. It's certainly easier to stomach than being considered a queen of all things.
Bond Level 3: ...Master. Can I confess something to you? ...I'm scared. Scared of all this power I have at my fingertips. I'm truly nothing special, at the end of the day. I'm weak... I'm ugly... I've never really accomplished anything on my own. And yet... everyone looks at me, expecting me to be a grand hero or champion. But... I'm just me. Useless... weak... me.
Bond Level 4: I still don't understand... Why me? Why did my dear prince choose me of all people there? I didn't even come to the ball to meet him. I just wanted a night where I could be happy and not care about the weight of the world. And yet... he danced with me, made my heart feel like the weariness and heartache was all worth it for that fleeting moment. I wonder... What went through his head that night?
Bond Level 5: Master... Thank you for listening to me. I confess, I still don't know if I can bear the image of the 'Queen of All Fairy Tales', but I've been thrust into the role regardless. I may not live up to the expectations the world has of me… Perhaps I never will. Be that as it may, I still want to try. I don't believe in the 'Cinderella' that my mother and my prince saw in me... But I believe in them. And if they were able to find something in me worth loving... Then perhaps they're right.
Dialogue 1: You don’t have to act so amazed around me, you know. I’m nothing more than a simple servant girl who got lucky.
Dialogue 2: I’m your Servant… That means you tell me what to do, and I fulfill it to the best of my abilities.
Dialogue 3: It feels nice to be able to take a break every once in a while, don’t you think? Back home, I never really had a chance to sit down and rest.
Dialogue 4: *whistles* Hahahaha! It seems that even in Chaldea, there are little creatures that are willing to hear me sing to them. I rather like it. It’s so much nicer to be able to sing with an audience listening, don’t you think?
Dialogue 5 (If you have Prince Charming): Have I ever told you about the night my dear Prince Charming and I met? It feels like an impossible dream, yet an ever-enduring memory… He was the first to treat me with such genuine kindness after… Well, either way, I knew from the start that he was the man that I would marry. And you know what? I stand by that belief even to this day.
Dialogue 6 (If you have Red Riding Hood(Pre True-Name Narration)): Ah, Blanchette! It’s good to see you doing well! Hm? A hike in the woods? *sigh* I suppose that look you’re giving me means that I should go along with you, shouldn’t I? Heaven knows you tend to get yourself lost far too often…
Dialogue 7 (If you have Pinocchio): Oh, buongiorno, Maestro Pinnochio! I see you’re as active as usual today! Eh? N-no you can’t ask my mother for firewood! … O-oh. It was a joke, I see. Still, one shouldn’t make jokes like that so carelessly. Especially if you’re swinging around such a large axe…
Dialogue 8 (If you have Frau Trude Gothel): D-Dame Gothel?! She’s here as well?! I… To think the monster from my childhood would be here in the flesh… M-Master, are you sure it’s wise to have someone like this around Chaldea?!
Dialogue 9 (If you have The Fairy Godmother): The Fairy Godmother… I’ve heard that many believe our stories to be intertwined with one another. I must admit, though… I don’t think I’ve ever met her myself. At least, not in person. She seems to be very familiar with me though.
Dialogue 10 (If you have “Goldilocks”): Oh, hello Goldilocks! I’m glad we’re able to meet each other again… O-oh, you’re busy eating? I see… I’m sorry for interrupting you then…
Dialogue 11 (If you have Baba Yaga): Frau Yaga? I must say I didn’t expect you to be here. Um, not that I’m not happy to see you here! That is… Um… I’ll just leave now.
Dialogue 12 (If you have Elizabeth Bàthory (Cinderella)): Another me…? And she's an actual noble? She probably is much better than me… Maybe she deserves to be the heroine more than I do…
Dialogue 13 (If you have Miss Crane): Miss Crane… Her weaving is the stuff of legends. To think that such a veteran artisan would be here in Chaldea… I… Do you think she would mind if I asked her for some advice for my own tailoring?
Dialogue 14 (If you have Beni-Enma): The Tongue-Cut Sparrow is here as well… Her story is familiar to me, as is her fearsome reputation. That being said, I can’t help but see her as a kindred spirit. Do you think she’d appreciate my help, or would I just get in the way?
Dialogue 15 (If you have Merlin or Lady Avalon): You… You seem familiar to me. And yet, somehow, you feel completely different at the same time. Erm, that being said… Those pranks of yours are a bit much, don’t you think?
Dialogue 16 (If you have Hessian Lobo): You two… You’ve gone through so much, both separately and alone. I can’t even begin to understand what kind of hurt you carry… All the same, thank you for letting me sit with you. I know it means a lot.
Dialogue 17 (If you have Saint Barbara): Oh, Barbara! As active as ever, I see. … Wh-what?! Wait, what are you doing with that dynamite?! H-hey! Barbara! Wait up!
Dialogue 18 (If you have any other ‘Fairy Tale’ Servant): Everyone… Everyone looks at me, as if they expect some grand wisdom or great power of me… Those are expectations I fear I can never live up to.
Dialogue 19 (If you have Medusa): Ah, it’s that pink-haired woman! I really should thank her. She was so kind and welcoming to me when I first arrived in this place. She even helped me find some of the stories that were told of me in Chaldea’s library. For some reason, she seems to look at me as if I was familiar… Perhaps I met her in one of my tales? …could it be? Is she the incarnation of Godfather Snake? …no?
Dialogue 20 (If you have Barghest): Oh my! I’m sorry, miss, I didn’t mean to bump into you- H-huh?! …Master? Why did that woman look at me with tears in her eyes? …Habetrot said that, did she? I see.
Dialogue 21 (If you have Mata Hari): Margaretha… Yes, I know her. I know so many like her. Why wouldn’t I? After all, I know all too well what it’s like to be so alone…
Dialogue 22 (If you have Tiamat): The Mother of All Life… I heard that she was once a Beast of Humanity, driven to madness over the love she had for her children… And yet, I can’t help but feel happy around her. She reminds me of my own mother at times. Oh? A boxed lunch? Is this for me?
Likes: Something I like? Well… I suppose the only real answer I can give to that is my dear Prince Charming. He saved me after all… He took pity on someone like me and chose to marry me. …oh? ‘Pity had nothing to do with it’? Hmm… I suppose you’re right. He’d say the exact same thing to me if he heard my mumblings.
Dislikes: I’m not fond of bullies. Far too many people believe that just because they have money, or power, or… anything really, that they can hurt people. Hurt me. Ghhh…! E-excuse me, I’d rather not talk about this any longer.
About the Holy Grail: They say that the Holy Grail can grant any wish that your heart desires… If I wished on it, could I…? …no. No, someone like me doesn’t deserve to wish on the Grail. Give it to someone who’s more deserving of it.
During an Event: A celebration is going on…? I’d love to go, but… Oh, right, I suppose this situation is different, isn’t it? In that case, would you mind if I accompanied you to this? I-if it’s not too much trouble, I mean.
Birthday: Happy Birthday, Master. Have you made your wish? O-oh, you wish to spend the day with someone like me? … Yes, I’d quite like that. Thank you. Shall we be off, then?
Voice Lines(Final Ascension):
Level Up 1: This feeling… It reminds me of that midnight so long ago. I truly am blessed to have you as my Master.
Level Up 2: The night’s still young, let’s enjoy it while we can! Come, dance with me!
3rd Ascension: This dress... It's the same one I wore when I first met my prince... It's the same one given to me by my mother. I... I'm so glad that I get to dance in it again. Thank you, Master. I don't know if I can ever truly explain how much this means to me... But thank you all the same.
4th Ascension: Master... Thank you so much. Few people have ever treated me with this kindness... I always thought I didn't deserve the chance to be happy, but... Maybe I do. Maybe I deserve to have a happy ending all my own. And... I hope that someday, you too will get your happily ever after…
Fight Start 1: I do not wish to fight you… But I will not back down from this fight, either.
Fight Start 2: And so the story begins once more… With a Once Upon a Time.
Fight Start 3: Shall we dance? I must warn you though, I’m not the most graceful of partners to be had.
Skill 1: I know you’re watching over me, mother…
Skill 2: The midnight hour hasn’t arrived yet.
Skill 3: Allow me to help you with this!
Command Card Select 1: If I must.
Command Card Select 2: Get behind me!
Command Card Select 3: En garde!
Noble Phantasm Select 1: Mother… Allow me to make this simple wish.
Noble Phantasm Select 2: The time has come for the story’s climax…
Attack 1: Wing down, o eagle!
Attack 2: Arise, golden goby!
Attack 3: Help me, great crocodile!
Attack 4: Haaaah!
Attack 5: Come forth, di Vetro!
Attack 6: Glass spun of mystic arts… Protect me now!
Attack 7: My apologies… But you must stand down!
Attack 8: Get behind me!
Attack 9: Our time isn’t up yet!
Extra Attack 1: Please, help me now! (Frau Gothel: Don’t make this a habit, little girl…)
Extra Attack 2: I call upon you, great hero! (THJALFI: Very well then.)
Extra Attack 3: Thank you for your assistance! (William Tell: It’s my pleasure, your majesty.)
Extra Attack 4: Peter! Tinker Bell! (Peter Pan: Woohoo! Let’s do this! Tinker: Peter, wait up!)
Extra Attack 5: I pass this along to you, my love! (Prince Charming: Gladly, my darling! Unicorn: Let’s trample ‘em!)
Noble Phantasm 1:
Tree of Life…
Tree of Glory…
Tree of Salvation…
I come to pray at your roots once more…
Grant my wish, to save this world.
Ewig Sanfter Haselnussbaum.
Noble Phantasm 2:
Mother…
You may have passed long ago, but I still feel your presence with me.
Please, answer my prayers and help us win this day.
Ewig Sanfter Haselnussbaum.
Noble Phantasm 3:
“My dearest child… My beloved daughter…”
“The world has been unforgivably cruel to you.”
“It has hurt you more times than I can bear to count.”
“So I shall become your shield from the world’s evil.”
“And watch as you attain your own happily ever after.”
“Ewig Sanfter Haselnussbaum.”
Damage from Noble Phantasm: Mother… protect me…!
Regular Damage: Not yet!
Defeated 1: So this is how it ends…
Defeated 2: I suppose I wasn’t meant to be the hero of this story…
Victory 1: And so the story reaches its conclusion… Happily Ever After.
Victory 2: I’m sorry… I hope that someday, you will be able to find your own happy ending.
Bond Level 1: Oh? You seem surprised to see me. I guess this costume of mine is quite different from what you’ve seen before. I quite like it though. I may not be a true warrior like the other Servants you have here, but the feeling of my mother’s glass around me… it’s comforting.
Bond Level 2: It really is miraculous, isn’t it? To be in a place like this where so many different stories with so many different heroes are able to meet as one. I don’t think I ever would have expected to end up in a place like this.
Bond Level 3: The World has chosen me as the Queen of Fairy Tales, the Guardian of Happy Endings… And yet, I can’t help but feel useless at times. I’ve been blessed with these abilities, this power, but there’s still so much suffering and pain in the world. I know that my story has brought hope and light to people in despair, but all the same… I wish I could do more to help. Maybe then, Red Riding Hood… Blanchette… She wouldn’t have become a Beast.
Bond Level 4: …we’re alike, you and I. I can see it in your eyes. You want to help as many people as you can. You want to protect everyone from hurting like you have hurt. But it’s hard, isn’t it? Even when we want to save everyone, it seems impossible. But still… It’s our job to make the impossible possible, isn’t it?
Bond Level 5: Master… You’ve already gone through so much pain, and at such a young age, too. And yet, you still find it in you to smile and keep going on. You’re able to inspire so many people who have lost their hope for a better future, and you’re able to push on past your own sadness. But still… there will be times when your hope falters. I know this too. Master, when the day comes when all hope seems lost, and you can’t find it in you to smile… Allow me to be your knight in shining armor. I will defend your hopes and dreams when you can’t carry them anymore, and I promise you, you’ll find your own happy ending at the end of all this.
Dialogue 1: It really is amazing, becoming a queen like this. Some days, it doesn’t even feel real. But if this is merely a dream, a fleeting fantasy… Then even that is enough to bring my life happiness.
Dialogue 2: When I look at you… I can’t help but feel like we are one and the same. Perhaps our circumstances are a bit different, but still… You’ve been cast into a strange and frightening new reality. Alone, afraid, and… No, that’s not quite right. You’re not alone. You are never alone. This, I promise to you… Master.
Dialogue 3: The modern era has so many wonderful things to show me… Things have changed a lot since my time. Though, if you would ask me? The most exciting thing of all would be all the interesting forms of transportation? Hm? Oh, don’t you worry, my friends, I promise, I won’t replace you. …though I would like a chance to drive a motorcycle-
Dialogue 4(Clear Interlude “The Neverending Dance”): I don’t know if I’ll ever truly be able to let go of these thoughts of mine… My doubts, my anger, my anxiety… They’re something that I suppose I’ll have to live with, even as a Servant. Still… I feel like they’re bearable, so long as I can have friends like you by my side.
Dialogue 5 (If you have Prince Charming): My dear husband… My fair Prince… I’m glad you’re finally here with me. I never had the chance to say it earlier, but I truly have been blessed to have married a man such as you. A kind heart… a loving smile… an honesty that no other man could compare to. Yes, if I ever had the chance to marry any man of my dreams, I would always, always choose you. … Aha! Your face is as red as an apple, my dear husband. It’s little wonder why you enjoy speaking such sweet nothings into my ear if you get to see such cute expressions all day.
Dialogue 6 (If you have Red Riding Hood(Post True-Name Narration)): Blanchette… She’s suffered for so long, she’s been bitter and angry at the world all her life. …I suppose for her, the anger and hatred is all she has left now, isn’t it? For her, being a monster is far more preferable than being a victim. I suppose I can understand that line of thinking… Still, even Beasts of Humanity deserve to find their own happiness some day, and she’s no different. Maybe you can be the one to give her the happy ending I couldn’t, Master.
Dialogue 7 (If you have Pinocchio): Ah, Maestro Pinocchio! And Maestro Cricket, as well! It’s good to see you gentlemen out and about. That is to say… You aren’t up to any mischief today, are you? Hahaha! I’m only joking, no need to look so afraid. …unless you are planning another of your pranks, young Maestro.
Dialogue 8 (If you have Frau Trude Gothel): Dame Gothel… The Witch of the Story’s End. … *sigh* It’s hard to say how I feel about someone like her. On the one hand, she is a monster, and one who gladly admits to it, no less. She’s killed and hurt too many children than I can bear to count. …and yet, Pinocchio has shown he truly believes that even she can be redeemed. Perhaps even a monster can find her happily ever after one day. Until then, however, I will be keeping an eye on her.
Dialogue 9 (If you have The Fairy Godmother): The Fairy Godmother… I never had a chance to meet her myself in life. Or… perhaps I did…? It’s strange. She has a very familiar aura to me, but at the same time, she seems so distant and alien. Still, she at least seems to be nicer than her sister at the very least, so I suppose it’s fine…
Dialogue 10 (If you have Sòl): Ah, Sòl, I’m glad to see you’re doing well for yourself! It’s rather nice, isn’t it, being in Chaldea. I’m glad that you’re able to finally rest your head without worry. Erm, that being said… The kitchen staff have asked me to tell you to stop raiding the fridge so often. I believe EMIYA’s words were ‘rivaling Artoria’s bottomless stomach’.
Dialogue 11 (If you have Saint Barbara): Ah, Barbara! You look well today. You have something to show me? …it’s not something explosive again is it? Alright, I suppose I can come with you to the hangar to look if that’s the case. Perhaps it’ll be a motorcycle or an aeroplane…
Dialogue 12 (If you have any other ‘Fairy Tale’ Servant): *sigh* Sometimes… I still fear that I won’t be enough. That even with the weight of everyone’s expectations of what I should be, I’ll end up failing. That being said… It’s for those very same reasons that we should keep fighting, no? To at least try to live up to those same expectations?
Dialogue 13 (If you have Medusa): Medusa… So even the greatest monsters in stories can hide kindness and a desire to be loved. You’ve been so gracious to me, so I do believe that it’s time I return the favor. Come with me, if you don’t mind. I’ll put on some tea for us.
Dialogue 14 (If you have Barghest): Ah… Cheer up, o great knight. The others may not have the same faith in you that I do, but I promise, one day, you’ll walk down the aisle, within your finest dress, and have the chance to have your own fairy tale wedding.
Dialogue 15 (If you have Mata Hari): I must say… It feels nice to watch someone dance so freely and happily, especially after a life of sadness and pain. Chaldea really is a place of miracles, isn’t it? To have the ability to grant people happy endings long after their own deaths.
Dialogue 16 (If you have Edmond Dantes): The Count of Monte Cristo… I know you believe yourself a monster, a demon who does not deserve a chance at his own happiness… But I also know that you are wrong. Your happiness will come, and your sins will be forgiven, if not in your life as a human, than as your life as a Servant. It is just as you say… Wait and hope.
Dialogue 17 (If you have Kiara Sessyoin): So even Beasts can find happiness in stories such as mine… That’s quite the comforting thought to me, I’ll have to admit. I’d love to go and talk with her, but I don’t know if she’d care to listen to what I’d have to say to her. It’s a shame, though… Whenever I look at her, all I see is a girl like me… Neglected, abandoned, and hurting, just hoping for something better to come one day. …maybe one day she’ll have a happy ending of her own.
Dialogue 18 (If you have Hans Christian Andersen): You know, Master, Herr Andersen is quite the strange one, wouldn’t you say? He’s so earnest and blunt, speaking truthfully but harshly about everyone… And yet, he’s a man who hides himself from the world. He’s so open about his faults and his own issues… And yet never once speaks about his own burning pain or bitter sadness. As an author of fairy tales, Herr Andersen provided so much joy and wonder to the world… Maybe it’s time he should go and reach out for his own.
Dialogue 19 (If you have Sigurd and Brynhildr): Those two… They remind me a lot of my dear Prince and I. …hee! Perhaps we should have a double date together. I’d love to hear of the romance between these two great heroes.
Dialogue 20 (If you have Arjuna): Arjuna… Please, hold your head up high. I know all too well what it’s like to have your own self-doubt and fear control you. But I also know just as well that you are far more than what those doubts think you to be. You are a hero, noble and kind, and let none tell you otherwise, especially yourself.
Dialogue 21 (If you have Gilgamesh): Oh? Even the Great King of All Heroes wishes to speak to me? You are too kind, your majesty. Though I must warn you, my heart belongs to my Prince Charming alone.
Likes: I don’t think anything has ever made me happier than that night with my Prince. Being able to escape the torment and suffering to simply dance and eat and laugh in such a beautiful castle… It truly was a dream come true…
Dislikes: If there is one thing that I will not forget… It is those who seek to hurt their own children. Whether it be through neglect, assault, blackmail, or any other means, people who hurt the children they have raised should not be easily forgiven. If one seeks to genuinely and seriously atone for what they have done, then I am all for them bettering themselves… But if they persist in their wickedness, then I will cut them down myself. After all… I know what it means to be a child such as that.
About the Holy Grail: The Holy Grail? …hahaha, why would I ever need to use something like that? I have all I need to make me happy. My dear husband, a loving home, and friends like you to be with. Yes, I don’t think there’s anything I could wish for right now, and I have you to thank for it.
During an Event: It appears that another ball has come to town. I think I would like to attend it, what say you, Master?Birthday: Happy Birthday, Master! Please, enjoy this gift I put together for you. I stitched this suit together with the help of some of my friends. It should fit you perfectly. …oh, you don’t have to be so bashful. I made this because I wanted to, not because of any obligation. After all… We’re friends now, aren’t we?

Happily Ever After.
She has gone by many names throughout history, be they Rhodopis, Ye Xian, Tấm, Cenerentola, Cendrillion, or Aschenputtel. Her tale has been told countless times over, from nation to nation, her legend being carved into humanity's very soul alongside great heroes such as Heracles and King Arthur.
She is the Persecuted Heroine.
She is an embodiment of the hopes and dreams of all mankind.
She is Cinderella, the Queen of All Fairy Tales.
Bond Level 1:
Height/Weight: 172cm • 54kg
Source: Global Fairy Tales
Region: The World
Alignment: Lawful • Good Gender: Female
"I don't understand... Why...? Why does she hate me?! I've done everything... Everything she's asked me to do. I do all the chores. I cook each and every meal, I clean every inch of this estate, I work until my fingers bleed and break without even taking a break to rest. But it's still not enough. I still don't even get to sit at the table. I still have to sleep on the floor. I still get called ugly, and stupid, and useless... I don't think anyone has ever called me by my real name since...
Am I really so awful? Am I really... Am I really as bad as they all say?
...
Maybe... Maybe if I do it right this time, they won't hate me anymore. Yes. It's my fault for messing it all up in the first place. I'll do better this time, and then they'll stop hurting me.
I can fix this.
I can fix this.
I can fix this.
Please... Let me fix this."
Bond Level 2:
She didn't even intend to meet her prince. All she wanted that night was a simple escape. A chance to leave her life of abuse and torment for a single night, and to grasp a chance at being happy, even for a moment. The means of escape was different with each telling. Some say it was an eagle that had snatched her sandal and dropped it into the lap of a great king. Others say it was a magic fish with golden eyes and scales who granted her wishes from its bones. Others still say it was a Fairy Godmother, who sought to grant her heart's true desire for her piety and grace.
Whatever the story, whatever the tale, the girl's wishes remain humble and simple: a wish for reprieve.
He had approached her gently, gingerly asking her for her hand to show her around the castle. His words were calming and loving. His steps were careful and true. As the night went on, the two grew more enamored with each other, finding solace in the other's company after a lifetime of loneliness.
And in the span of a single night, Cinderella and the Prince had fallen in love before the clock struck midnight.
Bond Level 3:
The wedding was wonderful, a joyous celebration even grander than the ball where she had met her Prince Charming. It was supposed to be the happiest day of Cinderella's life. A day where no pain, no anger, no misery would exist. A day where she would finally get the Happily Ever After she's craved all her life.
Of course... That would be the day that her family arrived to ruin everything.
They arrived like vultures, acting as if they hadn't been the ones to cause her suffering for years on end. As if they weren't the ones who treated her like a slave all her life. As if they hadn't disrespected her mother's grave time and again. And yet, here they were, acting as if they had loved and cherished Cinderella all her life.
What was meant to be a day of joyous celebration instead became a day of bitterness and anger. Before, Cinderella had kept her fury inside her. She had always tempered her frustration and hid it away. What else could she have done when she was weak and helpless? But this... this was different. Whether consciously or unconsciously, the wild animals Cinderella had befriended responded in kind in her outrage, with two ravens swooping down and plucking her stepsisters' eyes.
At the vicious sight, many of the guests recoiled in fear and shock, horrified at the macabre display before them.
But Cinderella?
She put a hand to her face at the sight... and let out a laugh. A brief, quiet laugh that went unheard by everyone at the wedding... but a laugh nonetheless.
Bond Level 4:
Cinderella married her Prince Charming, and became a queen hailed as a benevolent and kind ruler. She was hailed as fair and beautiful, and within her castle, she wanted for nothing nor feared for any harm.
And yet...
The doubts and fears from her childhood still lingered, festering like a diseased wound. Where many saw beauty, Cinderella could only see ugliness. Where they beheld kindness, Cinderella beheld cruelty. Where people saw diligence, Cinderella saw nothing but uselessness. While her dear husband was always at her side to reassure her doubts, these thoughts would never leave Cinderella alone.
Would a deserving princess have their happiness handed to her?
Would a just ruler allow themselves to stew in rage over the past?
Would a good person laugh at her sisters' suffering and pain?
The anger, the anxiety, the doubt. All of it haunted her throughout her life. It was as if she had never stopped being that young girl that slept by the cinders.
Bond Level 5:
The story of Cinderella is ultimately one about pain. The pain of losing a loved one and crying beneath a tree The pain of barbed insults and cruel abuse. The pain of a cold stone floor and burning black ashes.
The years of abuse, financial, physical, and mental, will never truly go away, and neither will the pain that came with it.
But even still…
With pain eventually comes healing. Where there was a grave, a tree blossomed and bloomed. Where there was venomous insults and violent assault there is now the whispering of sweet nothings and a gentle embrace. The chill of sleeping on stone and the burned agony from the ash and cinders are now replaced with the comforting feel of glass slippers and a golden dress.
Cinderella's life was filled with nothing but pain and sorrow, both external and internal, but it was also filled with great joy and triumph. It is the triumph of an abused young girl against a world that constantly treated her with cruelty, and in turn chose to respond by being kind and being more than just her circumstance. It is the tale of finally reaching a happily ever after.
For all those in the world who have yet to find their happy endings, and for all those who have long since passed that have been denied those very endings… Cinderella will forever stand as a symbol of hope, a figure who will light up even the darkest hours with gleaming fire and shining glass.
For the lovers, the dreamers, the hopeful who have not lost their hearts to despair… Cinderella, the Greatest of All Fairy Tales, will always fight as your champion.
Extra (Clear Interlude “The Neverending Dance”):
Cinderella was never her true name. Cenerentola, Cendrillon, Aschenputtel, the identities that the world knew her as were nothing but cruel nicknames meant to mock her for her low position and to torment her for her constant work. While for many, the name Cinderella was one that inspired hope and prosperity, for the young princess, all the name did was remind her of her suffering and torment, as well as an impossible standard that she could never live up to.
Cinderella the beloved heroine.
Cinderella the worthless mistake.
Cinderella the vengeful monster.
All these and more were not who the maiden was. They were merely projections of what mankind believed her to be. In truth, she has a name that was given to her by her beloved mother, and a name that was never once spoken in any of her stories.
Rhodopis.

ROUND 4A, MATCH 1 OUT OF 2!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
*Includes the original 1950 animated film, the 2002 sequel Cinderella II: Dreams Come True, and the 2007 sequel Cinderella III: A Twist in Time.
Propaganda Under the Cut:
Disney's Cinderella:
she is very iconic, she is super kind and has a beautiful dress
Submitting specifically because Cinderella III: A Twist in Time has lived rent-free in my head ever since I was a small child.
This Cinderella is most young (western) peoples introduction to this very story. Cinderella is so hopeful and by getting one small magical adventure, her whole life changes for the better. She is skilled and inspires such loyalty with her kindness that it’s hard to dislike her for any reason she gives. I’ve always been jealous of her ball hairdo too.
Walt Disney put all he had into this movie. And his favorite animation was the dress transformation scene. There’s a reason she is often front and center on the Princess group promotions.
she is the original. to me. probably the first exposure to cinderella for a solid chunk of people alive & on tumblr today. she is just a perfect encapsulation of everything that cinderella is, even if she's become warped in the public consciousness. also i'm pretty sure she's the reason why the glass slippers are so predominant in more recent retellings bc she is simply so iconic. 100/10 no notes 💜
She's maybe not the OG OG but she was one of the first animated Disney princesses and strangely enough it doesn't stop her from having an amazing personality. She's literally a slave but keeps being a nice person, forgiving and always doing her best. And the sequels absolutely didn't ruin her character. She's a sweet girl who tries to fit in but who's loyal to the person she is and who tries to change things always in a cute and sweet way to show people it's not that hard. She literally forgave Anastasia and tried to help her after all she did to her (the scene where the step-sisters destroy her dress still is terrifying to me)... she's awesome and deserves more recognition honestly...
(Mod's note: the following submitted specifically for Cinderella III: A Twist in Time, but I condensed the animated movies into one entry.) No she is not the same as the original Cinderella of 1950. This girl’s biggest chance was unfairly snatched away from her. When the Prince was brainwashed she was enough to get him to double take. She was so Right that their connection over powered magic. And she had to be rescued from a ship. And was almost crushed within a pumpkin! And finally had to expose another imposter, who turned out to be just another victim of Lady Trameine. This Cinderella fought harder for her love because she knew what True Love was like and she still was able to forgive those who asked for it.
(Mod's note: the following submitted specifically for Cinderella III: A Twist in Time, but I condensed the animated movies into one entry.) Listen yes it's the same Cinderella from 1950 but she has an arc in this one! It's Disney's greatest film!!
Listen I love them both but the animated Cinderella definitly shine in every single movie she has. And she has 3.
Vote for Cinderella because she deserves it and is still underrated in the Disney Princesses Franchise when she survived so much (ab*se... Lady Tremaine still terrifies me and she doesn't even have magical powers except when she steals the magic wand in Cinderella 3) Also one vote for Cinderella is one jump outside the window Henri is ready to do. Yes it's real.
Disney animated the original fairytale but definitely made it more magical and less creepy (like the birds making the step sisters blind? It gave me nightmares for ages). If I think: which one will I want to rediscover multiple times? Disney's Cinderella. Plus Cinderella 3 is a masterpiece.
Mofurun as "Mofurella"
listen. they do an episode where they're all sucked into Cinderella and they make the trans teddy bear Cinderella. Incredible story writing, 10/10, no notes.
Mofurdella is even plot relevant, that episode is how they get the Rainbow Carriage for their group attack anyway MOFURDELLA FIRST CINDERELLA PRECURE EPISODE TO GET ONE MOFURILLION VOTES
